Blood-C episode 6

Why hello there. XD This post would have been up earlier but Sci-Fi and their super cheesy movie of doom kept me texting for 2 hours. So much fail, so little time. XD Maybe next time they can create a shark that can swallow an entire state. Because just swallowing a submarine is not enough folks.

Oh and I didn’t get fired today. That is probably the biggest miracle of all this week. But the AC is still/back to being broken. Woe is me. Woe.

Oh snap! Who could it be Mr. Censor?!

I probably should have blogged No. 6 first but I wanted to see the bloodbath that the previews promised me for Blood-C episode 6. Spoilers for…it being true!!!!

Very good question my dear Nene.

Episode Summary: Nene is busy screaming MOG as Saya tries to protect them both from the monster of doom. This proves to be difficult as Nene keeps running away and causing Saya to injury herself by distracting the creature. Saya manages to get herself and Nene inside the temple. Saya runs to get her sword but the monster is too quick. It has already eaten Nene’s head off. Saya takes out the monster in one quick blow and it rains blood. After HOURS Saya’s dad finally shows up. Saya is acting out of it so Daddy commands her to sleep. And she does. Saya wakes up the next morning with a few owies on her leg. Not her BACK where she was stabbed but that’s fine. Fumito has arrived with some noms. Saya is feeling a bit sad since her friend got her head eaten off so she isn’t in a good mood. Fumito tells Saya she is the most important thing to him and he doesn’t mind doing stuff for her. As he goes to get the noms Saya starts experiencing headaches and feels faint. She goes back to bed and has a dream about being in the house with the floating blood stuffers. Someone is asking Saya to do something with him, let’s do it together. Saya wakes up from that dream and it appears that Fumito was never in the room.

The police in this town are on the ball folks!

The next morning Saya insists on going to school. When she arrives Shinichiro informs her Nene is missing and Nono has not been to school. He is concerned over Saya’s appearance and says he is there for her. Itsuki shows up and acts like a jealous boyfriend. Shortly Ms Homeroom teacher arrives and tells them due to all the missing persons lately school has been cancelled. Oh and Saya gets a headache remembering the dead Nene. Ms. Homeroom teacher tells Saya to be careful on her way home from school. It’s okay because she has a sword. She comes across the cute little doggie that starts TALKING to her. But before it can say anything interesting Nono walks up. She demands to know what happened after Nene went to visit Saya. Saya says nothing which makes Nono pretty upset. Then a giant shadow emerges from Nono and starts killing all the people near/on the streets. Or maybe they are killed as huge censors cover the entire screen. In any event Nono has no idea what is going on around her. Saya and her nifty sword go to work on the shadow monster. She is hugely successful and saves….no one. She eventually is eaten by the blob monster. She thinks she saved Nono and herself after some awesome red eye slashing but when she is returned to the real world she finds Nono’s shoe with Nono’s foot in it. OH. The doggie looks on, asking Saya to wake up. THE END!

XO Is there anyone left in the village/town to protect at this point?

So.....is that a no no to the Nene's head being bitten off?

I would first like to say that the censoring in this episode was really bad. I can’t even judge if the censoring is necessary. Has something recently happened in Japan that they need to be this careful about what is being shown? I know when the stabbings in Akihabara happened some shows were put on hold and some stuff was censored. But unless blob monsters are really running around Tokyo and killing people I don’t know why every little thing needs to covered up with black blurs.

Photobucket

Ss this just a plot to make us buy the DVDs?

I mean…it does make the show difficult to watch. This is a show about a violent group o creatures that likes to eat the human race. Viewers know what they are getting into when they tune in so what is with trying to protect our delicate sensibilities? Saya is getting stabbed and burned all over the place so why can’t we see other people getting nommed and stabbed? Weirdness I tell you. Weirdness.

So. Moving on to the actual show. Saya’s protecting skills are AWESOME. Awesome I tell you. What is her rescued to nom rate now? 1 survivor to about 10 dead? Go Saya go!

Photobucket

Um crazy, I am trying to protect you. But you running away is greatly affecting the protecting process.

Nene kinda sucks though. I know she went there to cheer Saya up and make sure she was okay but the second things go bad she ran out of there. I guess if you are not brought up to be a war chick shrine maiden your first instincts is to run and forget about everyone else. But Saya was trying to protect Nene and she was screaming LET ME GO. Fool she just saved your life. And why would you stand in front of the door when a huge monster was trying to kill you? I mean…I guess the monster could have come from anywhere at that point but I would rather be close to the other person in the room rather than be all alone on the other side.

Photobucket

I am not suspicious at all!! Nope nope.

And where was Daddy during all this crazy? He lives at the shrine right? Even if he was across the street at Restaurant De Creepy Man he still should have sensed the danger. Or at the very least HEARD the crashes and what not. Even if he can’t fight why doesn’t he go and watch Saya in action? I think him being absent was very weird.

Photobucket

I love you my little experiment gone wrong.

Speaking of weird oh hi Fumito. Saya’s dad can sense the Ugly Creatures right? Or at least do a spell thing that tells him when they are coming? So why can’t he sense that Fumito is trouble? What was with all that most important talk anyway? If it turns out Fumito is really a good guy and Saya is his secret/created weapon I will be mad. Clearly he is a creepier. CLEARLY!

There was no talking randomness today. Well there was but not in the traditional sense. Instead it was mostly Saya having a dream about being in the huge house with the floating blood bubbles. She and someone (whom I think is Fumito) are making a deal of some sort. Could this be the contract that has been drilled in our heads a million times? Either way this mystery is being pieced together very, VERY slowly.

I wish Saya had cried a little more about Nene and her no no head. When Nene first died she was all like NOOOOOOOOOOOOO but when she woke up the next morning it was all headaches and not feeling well. And two days later when she ventured to school she wasn’t all woe is me like I thought she would be. Granted she did act like that when the fishermen and the baker dude died but since this was her actual friend I was expecting more emotions.

Photobucket

I know we have only spoken like 5 times...but I am here for you. Because I am dark and mysterious.

Shinichiro decided he was feeling left out of the love and has joined the ranks of other people telling Saya that they are THERE for her. If she needs someone to talk to he will listen. As much as I like Shinichiro and will be sad if he ends up being the monster his little confession was weird. The other folks who have said such phrases actually spend time with Saya or are adult figures in her life. Shinichiro has barely been seen and comes off like the mysterious boy in class no one understands. Even if he likes Saya why would she open up to him?

Photobucket

I have been working on that girl for YEARS (months...days...depending on what is really going on). BACK OFF!

But none of that matters as Itsuki got all pissed off that Shinichiro was touching HIS WOMAN. Yes it is sad when someone does not return your feelings but you can’t go around acting like Saya was ever yours. Grow up. Or turn into a monster already so Saya can stab you. Either way hurry up.

It was a good thing school was cancelled. That meant Saya was available to save all those people on the streets. Oppies maybe not?

Photobucket

I know you are really pissed...but there is a demon shadow behind you eating people. Can we talk about this later?

Since we all love Saya and think she is amazing we probably want to be harsh on the way Nono treated her. But logically speaking Saya was the last one to see Nene. Nene was upset about making Saya all fainty and such then POOF no more Nene. And the way Saya wasn’t answering her was 238247 kinds of suspicious. So yes Nono was not the nicest person ever but she wasn’t out of line. Maybe Saya’s dad should start placing the bodies (or parts they can find) where people can find them so their family members don’t have to live not knowing the truth.

What I was slightly confused about was the monster in Nono’s shadow. Her body parts ended up all over the cement after the fight so she was not a monster herself. Or at least that is what I gather. But if it was not a part of Nono why was it in her shadow? Why would it retreat back to her after killing a few people? Was it feeding off her energy? Or am I crazy for trying to question blob monsters what make no sense anyway?

So yes. Slightly confused on the monster being attached to Nono. It could have been a special kind that needs a human host and when it was destroyed Nono went with it. Since we don’t know much about the monsters I guess it is silly to think this one was out of line. Still I am interested.

Photobucket

Apparently the dog talking is the weirdest part of Saya's life so far.

I am also interested in how this is going to be covered up. Saya did save one person and they lived to tell the tale. But now there are way more people missing and witnessed. Saya and her sword carrying ways may be over soon. The school is just so lax…..

Photobucket

Wait are you saying that there is another world and all of this has just been a Saya dream?...That could be cool if that was the truth.

I guess we are nearing the end of the post. I had no idea that both twins would be taken out in the same episode. OH!!! Yes. The dog talks. X___X Can’t forget about the talking dog. Is it too a monster baddie who is a cuddly dog or is it something else? Like Shinichiro. XD But Mr Doggie wants Saya to think WHO she made the promise to. Perhaps Mr Doggie wants Saya to know of her own back story before she runs around and slashes more monsters.

Photobucket

Oh snap someone missed a scene!!!!!

Because that is the only slashing we can see. No human deaths for us. Peace out.

I don't understand Japan's policy... They are making too many fusses over a mere DRAWING! Oh, it will have bad effect on kids/teenagers mentality to see human killing another human, BUT this is some black blob monster! Why censor? Why?
The talking doggy doesn't make any sense. I wonder if it's some kind of mahou shoujo's companion?!
"Wake up, Saya's magical power!"
And then she's going to fight those monsters in cute frilly dress.
Just kidding. LOL.

Eternia- After Madoka I am suspicious of contracts or any other kind of promises made with nonhuman creatures. Beware the doggie! But at least its mouth moves.....

I think if the killings were more natural (IE a human stabbing another human) MAYBE I would understand the MOGness. But since I just saw Final Destination part 8984574758 last week I say bring on the blood and disclaimers. I hate to think this is a tactic to get people to buy the DVDS. Loyal Japanese fans are pretty good about buying DVDs so I don't see how that would be a good marketing tactic but that is all I can think of. Well that makes sense anyway.

I rather see MORE of the show and less black/white fuzzies taking over my scene. Saya is getting stabbed all over the place and that seems to be okay. Bring on the body parts and decapitated twins!
