Mahou Shoujo Kazumi Magica the Innocent Malice chapter 19

Photobucket

SEE! Clearly this will be a happy manga. Proof is in the smiles. XD
Must make more posts! XO Must finish a great many things in....3 hours! In three short hours 2012 will be gone forever folks. And judging by the sounds of it most of my neighborhood might be blown up by tomorrow dude to all the fireworks going off. X___X So while I try to concentrate with EXPLOSIONS....here is another exciting chapter in Lets Kill Some Girls. Or Mahou Shoujo Kazumi Magica the Innocent Malice. We are already up to chapter 19 ya'll. ENJOY!

Photobucket
What do you mean you don't want to join me?!
Chapter 19 starts off with Kanna cackling her evil plot. Because all baddies have to cackle. Sometimes my husband practices his evil laugh just to scare the crap out of me but I am pretty sure that doesn't matter. XD But yes Kanna happily tells Kazumi that soon they will be the real humans and these nasty girls will be gone. But Kazumi is like no. Calmly says no. At this point I might be crying or losing my mind. But all that Kazumi has seen she is able to keep it together and say that she wants to be with Kaoru and Umika. Kanna tries to point out HELLO they are using you as a replacement. But Kazumi insists that they are actual friends even if it started out as something else.
Photobucket
Clearly Kanna thinks they need a lesson in suffering.
Kazumi uses her own powers to break free from her confinement. Kaoru and Umika try to comfort her but Kazumi is slowly turning into a witch herself. In the blink of an eye this tight group has been reduced to 3 members. The original Nico clearly died during the battle with Ayase so the actual count is down to 3. Kanna starts getting upset when Umika and Kaoru try to tell Kanna that she is a real girl too even if she came into the world by different means. I understand Kanna is going to be pissed with those words, that since they are “real” they really can't say anything and to shut their mouths. But I can see why Umika and Kaoru want to be reassuring and explain why they “made” these girls.

Umika (or at least I think it was Umika as the art gets a little fuzzy at points) explains that she does know what they did was a hot mess and horrible. It wasn't a fairytale but done to bring back their friend Michuri and to save themselves. Which makes sense. Their friend Michuri was just killed and they became magical girls because of her. I wouldn't have been surprised if there was a mass witchy that night with all of them losing their mind. But they made Kazumi to protect themselves from the awful truth of everything and to remind themselves there has to be hope. Perhaps it started off with Kazumi being a replacement Michuri but this time I think it truly was a real friendship with Kazumi #13.
Photobucket
Something tells me that they don't got this....
Kanna is not pleased that her fake magical friend is not down for the fun and mayhem. She doesn't believe they are made with love so they should bond over this fact. Kanna shows everyone what she has up her sleeve. She has the ability to use other people's magic as Umika can basically do the same thing. It becomes a bit special what with the borrowing people's powers and using their attacks and oh look pages of fighting. Basically it is a two on one fight but the one has more power because...well because she is the baddie.
Photobucket
Did I mention that Kazumi is looking really, really bad?
Kazumi is watching the whole fight and is feeling horrible. Can't blame the girl. It is either her fault for existing or will be her fault because she can't do anything. Or at least that is what Kazumi will think. Because even if she is a created/fake human she is still Japanese and everything is your fault. Turning into a witch will definitely be her fault and her friends turning into witches will be her fault. Kanna probably trying to get Kazumi on her side is Kazumi's fault. Kazumi feels the at faultness and tries to get up despite the fact she is quickly turning into a witch.
Photobucket
You know that you are dying right dude?
Kazumi and her swirling face aren't doing so great. Neither are Umika and Kaoru as they are using tons of their magic up on fighting Kanna. Oh yes that creature remember him? The thing that can clean dirty soul gems? An Incubator that can actually help magical girls? We need your power now! But when Jubey leaps to help....he starts to fall into pieces and basically turns to crumbs. Oh....so the creepy animal that can help us just died. How can any of this get any worse?
Photobucket
Good thing we are remembering these crucial things NOW!
As Umika and Kaoru sit there upset that their Jubey has....well splatted Kyubey shows up. I am sensing another bombshell folks. Anytime this cat (as a turn of phrase) shows up really bad things happen. He hasn't showed up much in this series, just a few times when Jubey was around. Other than that the two haven't been working together despite the fact they are from the same race and should be connected. Oh and the towns they are in are close together. But yes Kyubey is on the scene and the girls slowly start to remember...wait a minute...grief seeds clean our soul gems, not Jubey. Fine time to start remembering that.

Kanna is actually a baddie that takes advantage of situations and is like TIME TO ATTACK while the attacking is good. I hate it when baddies spend so much time talking when they could be splatting. She orders the Witch Saki to attack all of the girls. I guess she is tired of Kazumi already. Or maybe she thinks that she can change Kazumi back if she gets turned into a witch. Or that a witch Kazumi would be fun. Either way get them Witch Saki!

Only some anime magic has taken place. See sometimes when people get turned into monsters they still say themselves. There is a tiny bit left of them so they can protect the ones left behind. In this case Saki loves Kazumi/Michuri so much she is able to kill herself before hurting the others. It is a bit special but given all that has happened in this show maybe it isn't that much of a stretch. But this is just one more thing to show Kanna that the power of friendship can save people in the end. It doesn't have to be all doom and gloom...even though that is all that has gone on with this series. But still a sign to Kanna that they weren't wrong in their thinking.
Photobucket
Hey....maybe things won't end AS terribly as I thought. Maybe only 4 girls will die. And then Madoka resets it all.
Chapter 19 ends with Saki's other reason for killing herself being revealed. Now that Kaoru and Umika remember what really cleans soul gems she can give herself a gift to Kazumi. A grief seed doesn't always fall with a down witch but Saki turned into a special grief seed. Complete with ribbons! And despite the fact that Kaoru and Umika have very dirty soul gems they know what Saki was trying to say. Save Kazumi. Everyone else can die but if they can save Kazumi then it will be all worth it. The power of friendship...to be continued!

Tenchi's New Favorite Phrase

I think this post is going to show how really behind I have become lately on things. Go me. Maybe I will change my name to the Procrastinator. But then without spell check I might end up looking really special. No no I should stick to Tenchi. Although that has a special story behind that too. Maybe one day I will explain why I picked the nickname Tenchi and that it doesn't have anything to do with the popular anime.

But anyway I am currently in love with a certain phrase in the Reality TV world. Let it be known that I realize that Reality TV is often stage and awful and takes away jobs from tons of people on real shows. But I just can't help it folks. There is just something about the insanity of these Reality Shows, especially the Real Housewives franchise that keeps me coming back for more.

This folks is my new favorite phrase in question. It comes from the show The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Short explanation is the two new girls on the show were going at it over a small issue. But as Reality TV fans know small issues explode into weeks of pent up anger which result into.....this. Ms. Kenya Moore is not very happy with her age being an issue or an attack by Mrs. Porsha. Mix in a little alcohol, add in the fact Kenya probably wants more screen time, and POOF an amazing phrase was born.

2013 is nearly upon us folks. And I hope everyone has a Gone With the Wind Fabulous New Year. Because believe me I will be slippin that phrase any chance I can get. The husband might be getting a little sick of it already. XD Well maybe it has something to do with the fact I keep calling him Gone With the Wind Fabulous. That could be it....XD

Mahou Shoujo Kazumi Magica the Innocent Malice chapter 18

Hello there my lovely readers! Happy New Year's Eve. Even though in some parts of the country it is New Years Day. As usually I had plans for the day and they got a little bit off track with random other things. Which is okay since I am going to work on being more spontaneous and getting as much done as possible during other times to make room for said spontaneous times. Plus I obviously need to buy more Christmas ornaments DUH! XD

I see that I have not blogged about Mahou Shoujo Kazumi Magica in a while. So maybe I should try to blog about that before the series ends. The way things are going that might be in a few more chapters. So lets get back into the swing of things and read about girls dying all over the place shall we?
Photobucket
Um so Nico.....whatyadoing?
When we last saw our heroes things were not looking good for Saki. Nico has trapped Kazumi in a tube to protect her from the other girls while Mirai is slowly losing her mind. Things went from bad to really bad in a blink of an eye for these girls. Of course this is what readers were expecting right? With Madoka as the model how could things end with kisses and rainbows? In fact I think Kazumi Magica is trying to out do the horror in Madoka. So for now lets assume everything is going to be horrible shall we?
Photobucket
Me thinks it is a bit too late for that.
Mirai begs Jubey to heal Saki, to clean her soul gem. Nico has sped up the witch process so Jubey is like um no she is dead dude. Since Mirai is in love with Saki and was going to kill Kazumi to protect Saki she clings to her and cry as the other girls (which are few in numbers by now) look on. There is a brief scene of Mirai thinking back to when she and Saki first became magical girls. Apparently one of the reasons why Mirai didn't have any friends is because she used male pronouns. Saki smiles and says she did that too and they can be the same. Now I really don't find anything odd with that but I am not Japanese so what do I know? But I think it would be like talking in the third person in English. Would it be annoying/special all the time? Yes. But that wouldn't stop me from being friends with anyone. Poor Mirai as Saki is turned into a witch.
Photobucket
Looks slightly familiar....
And by poor Mirai I really mean poor Mirai. Yeah the girl was a bit mentally unstable and maybe her powers kinda sucked compared to everyone else's. But....she went out like Mami. Apparently if your name starts with an M your head will get bitten off. I thought it was a bit....lame since they already used that death before. When Mami died it was a real shock as Mirai's was meant to be gory. Still it is sad. Mirai holds the dead Saki as she says she loves her and off with her head.
Photobucket
Can someone explain what the hell is going on here?!
The only magical girls left are Kazumi, Kaoru, and Umika. Fitting as those are the two girls that “found” Kazumi at the beginning of the series. The other girls were just fillers. Kaoru and Umika are the real deal. XD Okay I kid I kid. But I think it was obvious who was going to be last to die in this bloodbath. Kazumi seems to be under the protection of Nico so that leaves Kaoru and Umika to fight the Saki witch. Only...Nico is able to stop the witch with magic? Just what is going on here folks?!

Time for a boom shell folks! The real reason behind the evil nuts and all the other magical girls going crazy is explained. Remember how we never heard of her wish before? Well we all know that Nico had a gun accident when she was a kid and killed two people. She became a withdrawn girl playing the what if game. What if that never happened? What kind of person would I be? What would my life be like?
Photobucket
Perhaps Nico should have left town...but then she couldn't look in on Kanna.
So when Jubey rolled into town that is what Nico wished for. That her imaginary self would become real. And this girl, Kanna, was born. She was raised in a normal family and had a perfect like lalaing all the way home. But since this is a Madoka spinoff the good times were not to last forever. One day Kanna came across the real Nico after fighting a wish. Of course Jubey was nearby to break the news to Kanna because he is lovely and evil that way.
Photobucket
And then a crazy was born.
You really have to hand it to Jubey. He just tells the truth but the words he uses cut so deep. He makes Kanna feel like a doll, that Nico was just using her to experience happiness in the world. Which could be true. But without Nico Kanna would not exist at all. Kanna was living a happy life and had she gone on not knowing the truth who would it be hurting? But since the truth was slowly being exposed Jubey made sure to twist that knife into a young girl's heart.
Photobucket
Seems like the logical course of action......
And the rest is magical girl history of course. Because when someone finds out the truth about something awful the truth finder takes the path of most pain to solve said issue. Now I can understand being upset. I wouldn't want to exist just to be an organ donor/bone marrow transplant to an older sibling. I wouldn't want to exist so someone could get more out of their trust fund. The list goes on and on. But after dealing with all the pain and hurt I would think that I would move on with my life. Maybe be angry but certainly say HEY this is my life and I am going to live it out the best I can, even I came into this world by special means. But since this is magical girl world obviously Kanna wants to become a magical girl so she can kill Nico, even if that means killing herself. DUH!
Photobucket
This all makes perfect sense of course.
The episode ends with Kanna explaining how she used Airi and Ayase in her evil plans. Because Kanna originally just wanted to destroy Nico. But after Kazumi was made Nico became even more angry. I can see her point of view, in thinking that the girls were having power over life and death and were using their powers to make fake people without thinking how that would affect said fake people. “Fake people” obviously. The whole reason behind that was to make all the girls use too much magic so she could create an army of witches. Because Nico wants to become a real human and to do that she needs to kill all the “regular humans”. X____X Well how is that for logic? It gets a bit iffy talking about why Airi took the suitcase full of Kazumi and the names but overall that was a LONG chapter with many WFT moments. Guess I will have to continue this is another post. XO

Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun episode 11

Photobucket
Ah memories of...being horrible friends to each other...
XO So much to do and so little time to do it in. Maybe my New Years Resolution should be to have better time management. Although my current was to be on time to work and I think I was on time twice this year......so yeah. XD Here is a post anyway folks. Episode 11 of Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun. Spoilers for Kenji putting me to sleep.
Photobucket
Oh snap there is touching!!
Episode Summary: Shizuku and Kenji are attending their cram school and Kenji is slowly losing his mind. Every move and word she says is super analyzed by him. Kenji thinks back to how he has always considered himself to be part of the elite and doesn't understand why he is in this dumb cram school or why he likes Shizuku. At school Souhei hands out pictures from their Christmas party and Asako says they should have one next year without the hanger oners. Haru enjoys looking at the pictures until he sees Kenji with Shizuku. At Kenji's school his friends are complaining about not having girlfriends and how Kenji gets all the girls. Kenji doesn't seem to care about any of that and tries to make his way around town despite having a terrible directional sense. While walking he comes across Chizuru's friend Yuu who acts creepy. He walks a bit faster and saves Shizuku from being runover by a bike since she is too busy studying to pay attention. He notes she is just as plain as the girl (Yuu) from earlier so why does he like her? Haru happens to see Kenji touching Shizuku and loses his mind. Shizuku starts yelling and Kenji uses the situation to make things worse for Haru. This causes Haru to chuck a can of drink and of course it hits Shizuku.
Photobucket
What beady eyes you have!
Shizuku is mad during cram school and Kenji tries throwing Haru under the bus while accidentally insulting Shizuku. He goes too far and says that he would be a better guy for Shizuku. She seems to not notice this slip but Kenji has a heart attack anyway. Shizuku says a few things that are a bit iffy and gives Kenji a little hope. But he runs into Yuu again so he stomps off. He gets lost and runs into Haru who was probably waiting for Shizuku after class. Kenji remembers how Haru was going to push him off the stairs at the Christmas party and acts a bit wary around him. Despite all the hatred going on between the two boys Haru helps Kenji to the station. While walking Kenji remember how they met when they were younger, with Haru beating Kenji on a test. Kenji started to bully Haru but Haru still followed him around like a lost puppy. But throughout the years Kenji ignored Haru what with all his fights and all. But Shizuku yelling at Kenji about being Haru's friend changed him that day. Haru interrupts his thoughts, talking about how he (Haru) hasn't changed and he is afraid that Shizuku will leave him behind. Haru ends this tender moment by basically threatening Kenji with violence. Haru then starts thinking back to his childhood, how he and his brother used to be close but when they were forced to change schools because of his bad behavior all of that changed. Shizuku interrupts this sad train of thought by walking up to Haru. Haru is honest with his feelings and tells Shizuku he loves her and Shizuku gets all embarrassed. But then Haru says he has been restraining himself all this time. Shizuku is like um when and decides that the two just keep clashing and can never meet in the middle. Somewhere else in town Asako arrives at the batting center ready to confess her love. THE END!
Photobucket
Oh look Shizuku got hurt.
And then that was boring. I am pretty sure I watched this episode last Wednesday and I am now getting around to blogging it. I was like no I can't blog or watch anything else until I get this done. Well nothing got done obviously. I blame this boring episode. No blame on me.
Photobucket
Do you guys have names?
I think the problem is two fold. One the pacing of this episode was all over the place. I couldn't figure out when the time frame was happening in the present most of the time. I thought Asako had the Christmas Party on Christmas but then Kenji's friends (whom I guess I am never learning their names) were talking about not having girlfriends near Christmas. I guess the party could have been before hand. Must have been since Souhei had party pictures. But then there were random flashbacks and moment of reflections and switching who was in charge of the scene. It just didn't flow well for some reason and now I am having a hard time explaining why. X___X
Photobucket
Because if she doesn't have time for Haru she has time for you?
The second reason why this episode was a snooze was it was all about Kenji. I really don't care about him. Maybe it is because the main couple of this series was decided long ago in episode 2 with both people already confessing. Maybe it is because looking at Kenji makes eyes want to pop out of my head. Maybe it is because my heart is two sizes two small. Whatever it may be Kenji....I am not feeling his little story. It is almost too little too late and it feels like a waste.
Photobucket
Then he threw it on the ground.
Of course spending more time watching Shizuku and Haru go around in circles and not connecting would be boring too. Like how many more problems do they need to have? They confessed and like each other yet there is always issues. So I guess there is only so much of that we can watch before our eyes can get bored and watch something else. I would compare it to a soap opera but then my eyes would fill with little tears as my soaps were canceled more than two years ago. :(
Photobucket
Nom Nom Nom.
I am just not sure Kenji is the best choice to focus on. It would be fine if he actually liked Shizuku himself but half the time it seems he just focuses on her to get at Haru. I am not down for that kind of love. Or like. That and he looks down on Shizuku. Basically calling her stupid and plain. Wow so romantic. Of course Shizuku is getting soda bottles thrown at her head by the other guy who likes her so I guess it could be worse....
Photobucket
Cause she is a dog?
But since this episode mainly focused on Kenji...let me briefly talk about him. A jerk no doubt. Apparently boys can't be friends ever or the universe would explode. He does seem to think about his actions a lot more than people who chuck soda bottles all over the place. Like oh Shizuku is saying this so I will reply with this. I can appreciate someone who is thinking about what to say...even if it comes across as a little....cunning? I think cunning is a nice way to put it.
Photobucket
What the heck was this all about?! X___X
And when Kenji is liking Shizuku for her and not to make Haru jealous it is cute. I can appreciate the blushy faces and what not. Not sure what was going on with Kenji giving Yuu weird glances. Are those two going to be a couple with everyone accepts that Shizuku and Haru are the real deal? If so that would be even....well more pointless. Like our first glance at this girl is someone randomly staring at another person. So....what was my point? I think I forgot. But Kenji can be cute about the situation even if it is too little, too late, and a bit hateful.
Photobucket
Ah friendship. Such a wonderful thing.
So the rest of the episode focused on Haru and his can throwing self. This kid needs to go to boot camp or something. I do not find his random violent outbursts cute or funny. Just grow up already. Again he didn't mean to hit Shizuku and yes Kenji was being a jerk. But stop hurting people. You can get jealous but try and be a better person. Do sweet things for Shizuku instead of standing out because you are insane.
Photobucket
Hey. Stop beating people up and your life will be better. Amazing I know.
I thought the random back story scenes with Haru and his brother were....well random. I guess it was to paint a sad scene so when Shizuku walked up all would be better. But it is hard to feel bad for Haru because he has done this to himself. He wasn't bullied in school for his hair or being poor or anything like that. He was a violent kid and all of his problems come from himself. So no tears for him.
Photobucket
Maybe if they didn't talk anymore things would go better?
The scene with Haru and Shizuku was almost cute. Him being sad (due to his own fault) and him being excited to see Shizuku was nice. Only in true Haru/Shizuku fashion it was ruined 5 seconds later. He has been holding himself back folks. He wants credit for not messing up a classroom. Give this boy a medal. Of course Shizuku isn't earning many points for her confessing to Haru many times, taking it back, and then....not really going out with him. She is right, they are a hot mess.
Photobucket
Poor Asako. Always trying so hard.
The episode ends with Asako looking up at the battle gaming building. She is the one who really seems sad and thoughtful and genuine all the time. Of course her heart is going to get broken and Souhei will win by default. X____X High school kids are messed up. Or at least everyone Shizuku knows is. Is it really that hard to study AND have a social life kid? Much to do about nothing indeed.

Shin Sekai Yori episode 13

Photobucket
Bouncing in a winter wonder land....
YAWN!!!! Time for bed. Gotta get ready for a hopefully busy day tomorrow. Enjoy my sad post I wrote a million years ago. XD Shin Sekai Yori episode 13. Spoilers for it being cold.
Photobucket
Snow? Cold? CRAZY TALK!
Episode Summary: Maria and Saki row on over to where they think Mamoru ran away. Maria bounces around like a snow rabbit while Saki steers her little skies. They break up and start searching the nearby area. Saki stops in particular to look at a building, like she has figured something out. Maria bounces all over the place and generally freaks out that she can't find Mamoru. Saki finally realizes when Satoru arrives that they should be looking for other tracks other than footprints. Sure enough they find sleigh tracks from a small vehicle the kids receive in their lower education. They believe Mamoru is running away for good due to the fact he is carrying so much. The kids figure that Mamoru is making slow time as he is carrying too much and that they will eventually be able to find him. They leave the sacred barrier area and head towards the mountains. Soon they realize that a QueerRat was following Mamoru which makes the kids start to feel uneasy. The trail takes them up a mountain, a place that Mamoru wouldn't go unless he was being chased. The trail almost goes cold until Saki reveals that Mamoru went down the cliff with his sled. Maria starts using her powers like crazy until Saki and Satoru calm her down. They find the sleigh but no Mamoru. Maria thinks that Mamoru is further down the mountain while the other two are like....this is too planned.
Photobucket
Satoru is trying to apply logic to the situation folks.
Soon they find more tracks, one of an animal and one of drag marks. According to Maria that means he has been eaten. Satoru is like look at the drag marks, he is alive. They walk along and find Mamoru in a little cave all safe like. That doesn't stop the kids from attacking the QueerRat that walks in. Mamoru walks up and says this is the little guy that Saki saved a long time ago near the river. The QueerRat in question says he had to save Mamoru since he is one of the gods and leaves to bring more supplies. Maria is like okay what is going on running away boy. Mamoru says he ran away because he has been flagged for death. Maria dismisses Mamoru as he talks about how the teacher hates him and he doesn't get the best grades in class. He talks about a few days ago he was walking along and thought something was following him. All he saw was the huge shadow but he knows it was a Killer Cat. Everyone is like hmmmm tell us more. Apparently yesterday Mamoru was asked by the teacher to do a weird task away from the other students. Mamoru was nearly attacked by a Killer Cat again and that is when he decided to run away. Mamoru talks about how he is going to be killed like Reiko and “Shun” and that he saw the Killer Cats before but that memory has been taken away. Suddenly Maria believes that Mamoru is knockin on heaven's door and starts crying. Satoru notes that Mamoru is an average student, skittish, and listens to authority. Not someone who should be targeted for death. Maria demands to know what Saki thinks and adult Saki explains that at the time no one knew what to do for Mamoru. THE END!
Photobucket
You just slept through the boring parts. It will be okay.
I probably wrote way too much summary there folks. Like way too much. I should have said....Saki, Maria, and Satoru go into the woods to look for Mamoru. Maria had varying degrees of emotions, all of which made the finding Mamoru process not so easy. They find out that a QueerRat rescued Mamoru and has given him shelter. And Mamoru explains that he didn't run away over a lame joke Maria made, he actually is being stalked by a KillerCat. The other kids have varying degrees of is this real life? THE END!
Photobucket
Wake me up when it gets interesting.
See how much easier is that? Instead I get all wordy and crazy. Although my abbreviated version was a bit sarcastic wasn't it? I am happy though that Mamoru didn't run away over a lame joke. That would have made my mini synopsis even more...special. More WHAT THE HELL?!
Photobucket
I hate snow. Just throwing that out there.
Most of the episode was dedicated to finding Mamoru. Duh. So there wasn't really much going on but watching the kids go through white snow. And I really do mean it when I said Maria's jumping around was distracting. I feel as if she has been the most showy kid thus far. But I think if Shun was still alive he wouldn't have been bouncing around. He would have been gliding faster than Satoru and Saki but not bunnying it. With Maria she is always floating around or doing something to draw attention to her. Yet Shun was always the better student.
Photobucket
Keep it together girl.
So what is up with Maria? I thought early on she was the older, mature one. Mainly because that is how Saki saw her and spoke of her. She just seem like she was going to be the voice of reason. Shun was going to be the know it all and she was going to be the only kindly trying to steer the group in safer directions. But now she has shown another side. That she is not as mature as she looks. She rather be left in the dark too. When she was telling Saki not everyone is strong and they needed to protect Mamoru....maybe she was talking about herself too.
Photobucket
More looking less talking about luggage!
Not that I would fault Maria for being a normal person who lives in this insanity village. I just thought she was going to be one way and she is acting another. I can see how Saki and Satoru could have gotten annoyed at her. Just because I understand her actions doesn't mean they weren't annoying. There is no time for panicking! And if you want to panic don't yell at the people not panicking because they are trying to find Mamoru. Overall Maria is a confused 14 year old girl who isn't amazing like Saki and seems to care A LOT about Mamoru.
Photobucket
Well this is a change....
Satoru is very smart. Saki had several moments of AHA too but overall Satoru seems to be the one who puts things together rather fast. Maybe he didn't have a chance to shine with Shun always being right and Saki always shooting Satoru down. It would be nice if when Satoru said something right that he would pause and Saki would go to open her mouth. Just because their memories have been altered doesn't mean their bodies don't remember how things used to be. That would really cement the fact that the kids are struggling with their memory loss.
Photobucket
Um Maria...Saki is asking good questions. Be quiet.
Also I would like to see eventually or Saki acknowledge that other groups of kids are going through the same things they are. Not as much obviously since Saki has been hand picked to handle the awfulness of the world. She is better at handling the awful. But maybe other groups spend time going WOW weren't there more of us? Why is so and so absent? Like if Saki said at the end of the series “And my story is not unique. So much suffering in my own class and I never even knew it...:” I would appreciate that.
Photobucket
Attack first, ask questions later.
So snow, Maria being a little less than helpful, and Satoru keeping his cool. Now maybe these kids should have been more ready for an attack. Yes it turns out that Mamoru was not kidnapped or eaten. But that could have been a different QueerRat walking in. Or maybe one QueerRat was dragging Mamoru and the others were going Jurassic Park on their asses. Clever Girls. But never fear, Saki and her kind act a few years helped Mamoru out.

Maybe Mamoru does enough crying for everyone....
Okay Mamoru. Explain what is going on so Maria can cry on you more and give you some rescue sex. At first Mamoru's story was sounding kinda...special. Like oh you got a little scared and ran away to cause everyone pain. You will laugh about it and everyone will walk home only to find the village burnt to the ground. That is how my mind works folks.
Photobucket
I always feel like somebody's watching meeeeeeeee
Then Mamoru kept talking and put to rest everyone's thinking that he was crazy. No no folks I know a lot more than I am letting on. Maybe Mamoru cries the most because out of everyone he is the weakest and he knows it. Satoru made a good point though, this society wants people who follows rules and keep secrets. Saki isn't strong with her powers either and yet she is recommended for a position, not up for killing.
Photobucket
X___X How many kids actually make it to adulthood?
Well that and Ms. Granny said that Saki was spared due to her position and I thought that meant her friends as well. Like well ya'll should have been killed but since you are so magical Saki everyone is spared. I think that is what Saki thought too. But clearly Mamoru did something to get put on the death list. He is being followed and then was nearly killed at school? This teacher was hard core! Was this all a lesson for Saki? See life is hard and this is a test to see if you realize this was for the greatest good? Not really following the logic of the Killer Cats stalking their prey first. Just kill the kid and erase the memories of everyone else, seems like a more logical idea.
Photobucket
This would be Maria FINALLY getting it.
So where do we stand now? Maria seems to be the most upset, Mamoru isn't getting rescued, Satoru is trying to think of a way to protect everyone, and Saki is probably feeling guilty since she knows a lot more than the other kids. I always wonder how she deals with these secrets inside. Like um guys yeah...I know what is going on. She just has so much on her plate with the missing memories and knowing the truth and OH my sister is dead. Clearly this group is not meant to be and this school is going to run out of kids. Cheer up Saki. At least you make it?...Yeah poor Mamoru.

Little Busters! episode 12

Hello there from slacker land. Or really the holidays take a lot of work land. I don't think I have any real excuse so I will....just get on with the post.
Photobucket
Come to me little birds so I can make you into stew!
Let us see where to begin first. Maybe subbers took a week off to for the holidays and I am not really that behind. So up now is Little Busters! episode 12. Spoilers for Mio becoming part of the group.

Kyousuke excited? Such lies.
Episode Summary: Riki and his boys have decided to leave school and have some random fun that doesn't involve Masato getting in a fight with anyone. As they are walking through the town they run into Komari and all the other girls taking donations for a worthy cause. Kyousuke notes that he could never be like that but commends Komari for doing so. Komari explains that doing this makes someone happy which in turns makes her happy and the world spins on. Kyousuke is touched by these words but only has 5 yen and 10,000 yen. He feels compelled to give the 10,000 yen even though everyone else is like um no dude. Riki ends up donating money on his behalf as Kengo and Masato fight over who can be the cheapest. Riki looks on at this “fun” and wishes Mio could join in. At school the next day people are a bit mean to Mio as they brush past her like she is not there. She tells Riki she doesn't mind and walks on by. Riki catches up and says he wants her to become the manager of the Little Busters. For some reason she thinks they want to be an idol group and she starts thinking about how she can make it work since Masato and Riki are odd. She decides that Kyousuke and Riki will become a pairing. Riki is like um no for the baseball team please. She decided that she will be the manager since she already said yes.

Fill me with your numbers!
Riki reintroduces her to everyone and Kyousuke loses his mind thinking they have a whole team. Riki reminds him that he said the word manager so Kyousuke decides it doesn't matter that they don't have enough members. Practice goes on and Mio serves everyone warm tea. Then everyone needs to give Mio their cellphone number and Mio doesn't know how to use a phone blah blah. Masato gets in on the crazy with the whole no girls ever call me! All in all Riki is pleased because everyone is friends. The next day instead of having practice Kyousuke decides they are going to learn how to make poems. Tanka poems and since Mio is an expert on them she explains in boring detail what they are. It is decided that everyone will write a verse and they will glue it together. This results in insane poems. Everyone is having fun and Mio slips out with Riki noticing. He goes after her and she is under her usual place with birds and crumbs. She says that everyone is just so bright and having friends seems so nice she got overwhelmed. Riki starts wondering if this was a good idea when Mio talks about how it might be too late for her to do this and about flying in the sky and reading all the books ever. Riki remembers that he Mio in town last week yet she was smiling and had no umbrella. Mio gets quiet but says she thought of a poem for the contest. But the next day at school she is absent. Riki is sad that no one else will really notice that she is gone. He hears a fellow classmate talking about how he just saw Mio in town yet it didn't seem like her. Riki looks up at the cloudy sky and thinks something really bad is about to happen to Mio. THE END!

So very little seems to be happening in most of the shows I watch. Am I just being too critical or am I being raised in America and I need aliens and explosions to keep my attention. I like slice of life animes too! I need them to keep me grounded amidst all the animes that explode my brain and other people's bodies.

The worst thing EVER!!!!
Just....everything is so slow and so dramatic and so.....slow. Which I guess is real life. Not every day is amazing. And maybe when you are partaking in the fun of exchanging phone numbers it doesn't seem to drag on and on. But to me it is like watching a football game. Like....this probably seems more interesting if you are playing in and feeling the rush, not watching plays that take 5 seconds each and 4 minutes to reset.
Photobucket
And then the world ended.
Riki is like a dog with a bone. He sees someone to help and he needs to see it through. Whether he likes it or not. Although at the end he does seem to get it, that maybe some people don't want to be helped. Of course it will turn out that Mio wants and needs help but in real life some people do want to be left alone and they are okay with that. They aren't running around feeding birds and writing sad poems. But for the first part of the episode Riki was like oh...poor Mio.
Photobucket
Um...yeah. Let me go get some change....
That came about because the Little Busters were having a special moment at the beginning of the episode. The guys are all out, celebrating the fact that they found the gates of the school and actually are in town. Time away from the girls! What should we do first? Oh run into the girls who are all together earning money for whatever Komari wants to earn money for that day.
Photobucket
Komari is collecting happiness ya'll.
They were collecting good will folks. Kind feelings. Oh Komari. Oh Kyousuke being taken in by someone else's dramatic words. X__X That was a lot of cash though folks. I was kinda expecting Yuiko to take it and say THANKS leaving Kyousuke penniless. Komari is a good girl though and even though Kyousuke is dramatic he is a good guy too. Less so Kengo and Masato who sorta sucked a but of the fun out of the giving situation. But this would all be better if Mio was apart of their group. Riki can't have fun if he knows someone is out there unhappy the fun times they are having now are not happening. And since Riki's main purpose in life is to remind us fun times are not always going to last...he needs to have as much fun as possible with as many people as possible.
Photobucket
She can work with that folks.
I do like Mio though. Even if she is down on herself for being a forgotten pebble on the road. She knows the kids are playing baseball but her mind goes to idols. She wouldn't be good for either job but I still think it was hilarious. But that might be my yaoi colored glasses talking here folks. XD Kyousuke and Riki pairing. Marketing Masato would be hard though. Not my cup of tea.
Photobucket
And why would I be good at this job?
I am surprised that she said yes though. Even to the idol part. She seems like the kind of person who doesn't want to get involved, even if that is just to keep herself from getting hurt. And these people are crazy. A lot happens with this group and they are loud and all over the place. So her saying yes to anything is odd. Maybe she should have done baby steps. Like I will be your friend Riki and work my way up to baseball team amounts of friends later.
Photobucket
No actual baseballing for her.
But she is the new manager and all makes sense. Especially since we all know that Kengo will at least show up to the games and help. He probably won't go to any practices but he won't leave Kyousuke hanging. Mio can't be in the sunlight so this is the only position she can take without....well whatever her problem is. Melting or what have them. Kyousuke having his dramatic moment and then saving himself when it didn't work out in his way...is typical Kyousuke.
Photobucket
Everyone under the age of 20 understands phones better than people over the age of 40. You are a disappointment Mio.
After practice the most complicated and over blown way to give out phone numbers took place. I know Mio doesn't have any friends but don't her parents call her? This is the year 2012, all kids know how to use cellphones. Masato would have been AWWW if his stupid pieces of paper didn't keep flying away. But the other girls were nice with their attempts to not make Mio feel number and even start the conversation with the phone numbers. All really good girls, just a bit insane and out there in the universe.
Photobucket
I almost fell asleep there too guys.
I know Kyousuke was just trying to involve Mio and make her feel part of the gang...but the poem thing was boring. I know they made it into something interesting but the idea was so boring. I guess they couldn't all go to the library and read a book so this is all Kyousuke could come up with. At first when the poem starting making sense I got worried that everyone got taken over by pod people. But then things got stupid and I felt better. Ah this is the group I know and love. Well I guess love is a strong word.
Photobucket
Well she ran away to be all sad like didn't she?
While Mio is holding onto a deep dark secret...I can still see why a normal person would have run away from that. It was just way too much way too fast. I don't think anyone meant to leave Mio out but they all are so loud and have such strong personalities I can see how that might all be overwhelming. Mio wasn't upset at that, knowing no one meant ill will. It was just...a lot at once and with a huge group it is hard to include everyone at once.
Photobucket
So dark indeed.
But Mio is holding onto something dark. At this point I don't think she has a twin as I think that is Haruka. I probably would assume that if Haruka wasn't in the picture but she is so I must go with theory B. Mio has a split personality. That if she is exposed to the sun she might melt and become a second person. But if you notice there was no sun out on the day she was missing from class. Wait I am contradicting myself as she was smiling in the sun at Riki that past trip out and now she is smiling on a cloudy day.
Photobucket
I think my thought train derailed.
Wait now I am confused. X___X What is going on? If it is not a twin does she have a split personality? She was out in the grey clouds smiling and skipping school. But when she was talking to Riki she was inferring about running out of time, implying she was dying. But we already did that arc with Komari didn't we? HMM FOLKS! I was all set to talk about this split personality thing but now if Mio is smiling in the sun and in the darkness I don't know what is up with her.
Photobucket
It better be good and dramatic. That's all I can say.
I don't know what is going on with Mio and neither does Riki. So he must put on his superhero cape and get to the bottom of it. Something bad is coming. Reading all these books, talks about birds, and avoiding the sun. What is going on with this girl? Guess we will have to wait to find out won't we? Until next week!
