Psycho-Pass episode 6

My entire house...is decorated. Everything. All done. What usually takes me an entire week happened in like 2.5 days. Thanks to the husband pitching in. "Pretend Christmas"....well....it happened. That is as much as I will say for now. I guess any day I get turkey is a good day. Yes lets focus on that. XD
Photobucket
Oh look! An insane person weee!
But can I catch up on any anime before I leave town for three days? Probably not. I can get a few posts done before packing at the speed of fast so here I go! Psycho-Pass episode 6 up now. Spoilers for Akane being obsessed with Shinya. Duh.
Photobucket
:( Before Shinya became an Enforcer.
Episode Summary: Ginoza is having a meeting with an older lady that is higher at the CID than he is. Ginoza reports that while Akane may be special she will probably make a decent agent. There is always the chance she might get too involved like a certain other person named Shinya. The woman takes note of that and also adds that they don't know if being a latent criminal is hereditary or not yet. She calmly sits there and hopes that is not the case as Ginoza would be in trouble. Elsewhere Shinya is trippin on remembering parts of his past. He tries to throw himself into his work with Akane throws herself into finding out what Shinya is all about. Akane decides that Shusei is probably the easiest to talk to so she seeks him out first. Also he is making a meal so hello he must be the perfect person to talk to. Shusei gets a little drunk but manages to tell Akane the story of what happened with Shinya, that an Enforcer under Shinya was killed and that caused Shinya to focus way too much on the job and become a latent criminal. Up next Akane goes to visit Yayoi and Shion who probably just got done having sex or something. Yayoi has more information on the crime itself, that a criminal was running around using some sort of resin to make statues of human parts and would hide them in plain sight. The Enforcer under Shinya was named Sasayama and he was close to cracking the case when he became the next victim. Shinya found him all hacked up and proceeded to lose his mind. He focused so much on the case but in the end no leads were ever found. Akane gets all sad and what not. Shion calls together all the troops as the interrogation of the factory worker latent criminal has been finished. He claims he just randomly sent him in the information on how to reprogram the robots and what not. Shion notes that someone else with a better background in tech. could be backing them up. Suddenly Shinya starts going through files and what not .Ginoza gets upset as Shinya insists this is the same case that happened to Sasayama, that there is someone making crimes possible for other people. Ginoza dismisses all of this and basically calls Shinya crazy.
Photobucket
Don't bother asking about me. Doesn't hurt my feelings...
While all of this is going on there are several scenes at an all girl's school that is basically closed off from society and brags that it promoted a clear hue environment. The Queen of the school is named Rikako and she is busy sending notes back and forth with a particular under classmen that probably is looking for a table to masturbate on. But when Rikako is not talking to this particular classmate others are waiting to serve her. Two school girls are at lunch with one trying to talk about how one of the students in this school has gone missing and no one is doing anything about it. Smart girl talks about how in a school that is supposed to protect them should do a better job of keeping things hidden or solving crimes. The other girl is not so smart and practically orgasms all over herself when Rikako walks by and invites both girls to join the art club. Dumb girl is like MOG SO AMAZING while dumb girl is like BIIIIIITCH! After school Rikako is painting something pretty gross. The girl she was writing to earlier comes by and basically talks about how her stepfather molests her but due to financial matters her mother has to stay with the stepfather. The younger girl cries over her situation while Rikako talks about how she likes Shakespeare and what type of stories she related to. Her home life wasn't that great either. Rikako and her creepy painting self promises to help out the younger girl. Later Rikako is seen painting alone with Shougo as she draws another creepy painting. She talks about how she has many more paintings to finish and has much to live for. He smiles as he knows her painting come alive. Maintenance workers find a faulty “fountain” and turn off the hologram to check on things. Underneath it is a body of the young girl missing from the school. Her head is where her stomach should be, matching Rikako's painting. The maintenance workers don't get at first that this is a real person and not some real statue. THE END!

Um...do you need a moment?
Well that was an interesting episode that I watched like 4 days ago and didn't write one word about so I have to type it all from memory. Or maybe I can write the summary first and get the screenies at the same time so it can jog my memory. Good idea. GO ME!
Photobucket
Doing well, being lucky. Same thing!
It seems there might be a reason that Ginoza is very harsh on the Enforcers. Well besides the fact that his partner became one and he may or may not feel guilty about it. No no, there might be another reason. Ginoza had a little meeting with the big boss upstairs (or maybe just one of the bosses) about Akane and how she is spirited/doesn't follow orders. Now at first this conversation was about how they didn't want Akane to turn out like Shinya but Ms. Boss turned it around quickly to that Ginoza might be in danger too. If being a latent criminal is hereditary or not.
Photobucket
Does she mean that or does she want him to fail.....hmmm.....
So clearly that means that Tomomi is Ginoza's father yes? That is what I think it is telling us. That would explain why he is harsh on Tomomi and unwilling to accept his ideas. Because usually someone doesn't want to admit their parent is right correct? Like um stop trying to upstage me dad. That has two layers to it. You don't want to look like a little kid at work AND you don't want to be upstaged by a person who is beneath you, a criminal. So there is a lot going on there that might explain why Ginoza is so pissed off at Tomomi and Shinya. And why he is trying to keep Akane on the straight and narrow since he knows what can happen if someone gets too involved and passionate.
Photobucket
Maybe the turnover rate is high in this line of work.
We learned a bit more about Shinya this episode. More and more he is looking like the sane one. Well maybe everyone is sane/normal in this world and the system is what is messed up. So maybe none of the Enforcers are really that bad. But Shinya...yeah I am feeling bad for him. For some reason it didn't dawn on me that it was an Enforcer that died. I thought maybe it was another Inspector. Which makes no sense and shouldn't matter, people are people. But it goes to show you that Shinya is a very kind person and cares for everyone, even the people that others consider trash and what not. That and it might just be that Sasayama died so horribly. Anyone might be upset after seeing that.
Photobucket
Pretty gross yes?
But I just find it unfair...well the whole system I guess. WAIT! I know what it is like! Saw 4. Or any part of the Saw franchises that had to deal with the cops. But especially the 4th one. The one cop was so focused on doing the right thing and protecting people he sorta cut corners and had a bit of an attitude. But yet that meant Jigsaw needed to test him and put his life in danger. That is how I feel about Shinya. He was just doing his job ...in a very intense way and he got punished for life for it. I am sure the system is unfair to everyone but people who have to deal with horrible things...obviously these things are going to happen. Like they are being set up for failure. Poor Shinya. I don't think he minds as much so I will mind for him.
Photobucket
I don't want to look like a stalker duh.
Akane has...taken a particular interest in Shinya. This makes the viewer interested in him as well. But since she is new in town why doesn't she have any interest in the other Enforcers? She is actually going to them to find out more about Shinya. Like oh hi I heard Shiny is interesting please tell me about him. Why aren't you asking me questions about ME?! You just met me too? Shinya was just doing his job when he shot at the hostage and criminal. I think all the other characters are interesting too and this maybe love story is getting forced too much. Be focused on everyone please.
Photobucket
Always right but Ginoza still questions him. Of course. Makes sense.
Oh speaking of Shinya...he is right about everything. But since Ginoza is riding the hate train for Enforcers he is putting all this information out of his mind. Ideally wouldn't everyone want there to be one person behind all these crimes? Like I would want one person giving everyone these ideas instead lots of major criminals. Does that make sense? But Ginoza is like blah blah you have to be wrong because I still have my job and you don't. Blah blah indeed. Beginning to see why Shinya went crazy.
Photobucket
Our school is creepy. Deal with it!
The other part of the episode wasn't as interesting to me. That or I am tired of seeing schools being all crazy over some people. But maybe that is how it is in Japan schools? I would like to think it is made up though. There were popular girls in my school but I don't think it was that bad.
Photobucket
I hope the smart girl lives.....
Especially since the popular girl in question is creepy. Maybe it would make more sense if Rikako was some quiet girl and people admired her for that and BAM look insane! Or that Rikako would be popular with other....outcast people. It just makes no sense if other people have seen her pictures that she is so popular. Obviously I am on team smart girl.
Photobucket
Don't mind the crazy man in the corner.
Rikako is obviously messed up. Obviously This underclassman is going on and on about how she is being molested at home so Rikako's thinking is to make the girl into beautiful art. Now...maybe if Rikako can relate to all these people she should kill....the people hurting them? Wait applying logic to insane people might be insane itself? I see now. Carry on talking to Shougo. He just is all over the place isn't he?
Photobucket
You are too dumb to live.
The episode ends with some dumbasses. I mean I realize they live in a crazy world now but there is a thing...with a head where it's stomach should be. Maybe they are so used to cool technology they can't tell what is real anymore. For me I scream/run first and ask questions later. DUMBASS!

Sword Art Online episode 20

The Birds is a REALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLY slow movie ya'll. Really, really slow. I know this because nothing is on TV as I look in awe at the Christmas ornaments scattered across my living room floor. I am like I need something to watch to pass the time. But NOOOOOOOOOOOO nothing else is on and it took like an hour for the attacks to happen. It was like watching The Titanic, waiting for the ship to crash.
Photobucket
Eventually. Because Kirito has been waiting forever.
Before I go to bed and forget that tomorrow will be Saturday and not Sunday like my messed up internal schedule thinks it is...one more episode. It should have been two but then HAHA I remembered I have every single Hello Kitty ornament ever. Up now is Sword Art Online episode 20. Spoilers for people wanting Kirito's pixelated body.
Photobucket
Well at least he's honest.
Episode Summary: Leafa ( I guess we are going with that spelling?) screams her little head off as Kirito rushes them through the cave. She gives him the eye as they end up in the sky and monsters fall to their doom. After that brief moment of fun they check how much time they have before the meeting. 20 minutes before the Salamanders arrive to ruin the meeting between the Sylphs and Cait Siths. Off they go as Kirito looks towards the World Tree. Yui lets them know the Salamanders are directly in front of them and will reach the meeting before them. Even though everything is visible/scramble Leafa just gives up. She thanks Kirito for trying but he needs to go on ahead and she will protect her leader Sakuya. Leafa reaches Sakuya right before the attack when Kirito demands everyone stop and listen to him. The General of the Salamanders Eugene comes forward to listen to what he thinks is a little nobody. Kirito explains to Eugene that he is the ambassador Spriggans-Undines and their alliance. And if the Salamanders attack this new alliance of Sylphs-Cait Siths all 4 races will attack the Salamanders. Eugene looks at Kirito and decides he is full of crap. He tells Kirito that if he can lost in a 30 second match against him the battle will be called off. Sakuya explains to Leafa and the audience that Eugene is one of the strongest players in the game with a super high level sword. His brother is the leader of the Salamanders and they should not be messed with. At the start of the battle Sakuya also explains that Eugene's sword has unique properties that cause it to phase in and out if being blocked by something. Kirito finds that out the hard way and has a bit of trouble in battle. Everyone watches as this newbie fights like a wild animal against Eugene. Kirito uses some of his magic to create a smokescreen.
Photobucket
Just....just a little?
During the confusion Kirito grabs Leafa's sword and becomes a two handed warrior. Eugene can only use his sword to block one and soon Kirito hacks Eugene into little tiny pieces. He “dies” and everyone rejoices. Sakuya and the leader of the Cait Siths Alicia are like what the hell is going on with this insanity. Sakuya brings Eugene back to life who still is wondering what Kirito is all about. A Salamander approaches and confirms that Kirito is working with the Undines as he was apart of the party that attacked Kirito and Leafa yesterday. Eugene believes the story now and leaves, promising to fight Kirito one day. After they leave everyone is like...was that true and Kirito is like um I started playing this game yesterday home slices. Leafa explains to Sakuya and Alicia that it was Sigurd who turned on them. Sakuya explains that the game is getting a patch that will allow players to change classes. Sigurd assumed he could get Salamander a bigger lead and rejoin the game as their race. Sakuya uses Alicia's magic to inform Sigurd that his plan was fail and he has been banished from their territory forever. Now that everything is cupcakes and puppies both ladies decide that they will flirt with Kirito and invite him to join their factions as a mercenary. Leafa starts to explain that Kirito is hers when she realizes she has know this dude for a hot minute. Kirito is like um I am trying to reach the tree.....Alicia says it will take two days to gather supplies so Kirito hands over all his cash to help in the process. Alicia and Sakuya promise to hurry and they leave. Yui yells at Kirito for cheating on mommy and Leafa asks why she isn't getting yelled. Kirito explains that he doesn't think of her as a girl thus she is not a threat. After she has a mini freak out moment the two head toward the base of the tree. In her cage Asuna waits for her captor to leave. When she thinks everything is safe she uses the code she has been trying to see for weeks and opens the door. Asuna takes a deep breath and ventures out into the dangers of the game without any equipment. THE END!
Photobucket
Now when you say that are you really asking Kirito out because you are really a monkey based society living in the scary future that may or may not actually be happening?
Again another easy episode to watch. With Sword Art Online you see things and that is what you get. Of course we are promised to learn the truth about the game next episode. Maybe things will flip on its head next week and it will turn out Kirito is a double agent and Asuna is trapped there because of him and the whole flying thing is draining people of their power in the real world. OR...you get what you get. I see now.
Photobucket
Flying is okay, running is not. I got it.
Leafa was pretty special during the cave. She has been playing this game for a year and has been flying around the sky. Running through a cave is scary though? Special. XD Of course everything Kirito does is amazing. I just thought Leafa was being overdramatic.
Photobucket
Um if we warned them how can I be the hero? DUH!
So in a game where one can fly in the sky and use high tech software to be in the game......there is no way to send messages to someone? OH WAIT! Recon sent Leafa message. So instead of trying to beat someone to a location you are too far away from why not drop them a line? Private Message anyone? No, no takers? If it was not possible to send a private message due to their location or Sakuya had it turned off for the meeting maybe that should have been explained. Because I didn't get that at all. I know everything can't be included from the source material but leaving out details like this makes things seem way more dramatic than they need to be.
Photobucket
Didn't you JUST get done saying this?
Dramatic? Oh that would be Leafa telling Kirito to go back, that he has done enough for her. That would have been okay had not 20 minutes earlier they had the exact same conversation. Like Groundhogs Day up in here folks. We get in Leafa!!! You is dumb and can't understand Japanese. Quit being impressed that Kirito is a loyal party member. He already said he was and went all the way to the spot. I mean....it is hard to explain why this was annoying. Just know that it was.
Photobucket
Oh no! Lets stand here and die since we have no other choice!
Alicia and Sakuya are leaders of their races and thus should be pretty powerful. How about instead of standing there waiting to get blasted you at least try to make some spells? Or at the very least the red shirt protectors should have thrown themselves in front of their leaders to give them time to log out. Standing there and looking dumb is not going to help anyone.
Photobucket
Um my lie was amazing dude. Do not doubt it.
Kirito and his lie was awesome. Mainly because he has been playing the game for like 24 hours. No one really believed him right? If he was telling the truth there would have been an Undine with Kirito. Or several. An entire army. Eugene should have just ordered everyone to blast away anyway. Even if there was an alliance the winnings from two race leaders should have/could have put them ahead of any other alliance.
Photobucket
Sounds super fair to me. XD
While Sakuya and Alicia were helpful explaining why Kirito was about to get his ass kicked maybe...just maybe they could have been spending that time asking Leafa what the hell was going on. Like we were doing just fine until tons of people came to kill them and a random stranger is what separates them from certain doom. Oh yes folks it was DOOM! DOOM!!!
Photobucket
Kirito is so angry his face is melting off!
Eugene seemed way too powerful for his own good. But the way Kirito beat him made sense and didn't require any anime magic. Kirito has spent some time as duel swordsmen so he knows what to do. What I thought was special was Kirito was allowed touch Leafa's sword. Like I understand that classes might not matter in this game but ownership should. X___X Maybe because they were in the same party? Seems weird.
Photobucket
What? No one wins against Kirito?! UNFAIR!
So after Kirito and Eugene had their bro moment it was time to tell Sigurd he sucks. I loved his argument for staying in the faction. Like without me the army won't run? Well considering you are trying to run it into the ground anyway what does it matter? It will fail with you and maybe it will fail without you. Sigurd needed a better back up plan in case things went wrong. Insert NOOOOOOS here.
Photobucket
He is MINE ladies. And by MINE I mean I met him like 5 minutes ago so back off.
As time goes on Kirito must be getting sexier and sexier. It usually takes girls a few hours for them to start throwing their panties at Kirito. And given how serious things were just 5 seconds ago, you know, the 5 seconds that you just met this dude....maybe you should wait on the offers to have Kirito be your personal...whatever. Granted this kid is pretty powerful but wait a few minutes. That is all that I ask.
Photobucket
So sayeth the ones with elf ears.
After Leafa got all jealous because she has known Kirito for 10 minutes and Kirito gave all his money away...off they go to the tree. I know that Kirito just wants to go to check things out but he does know that no one has been able to reach the top yet right? He acts like he can do it and no one really seems to be telling him that is not possible. Do they not care about his tiny and confused feelings? Or is everyone amazed by his power to do everything better than everyone else? XD
Photobucket
Good job Asuna. Better escape now before more people hit on Kirito.
The episode ends with Asuna escaping her cage. I was going to mock her but then I realized that the area is probably dangerous and she has no weapons. So the dramatic moment was necessary. Now wouldn't it be hilarious if Kirito gets to the base of the tree and sees Asuna as she has flung herself off it? XD.....Well I thought it was funny.

Shin Sekai Yori episode 8

My Christmas decorating partner has given up on me XO How dare he go to bed. Its not like he went to work this morning and brought up/down all the decorations. What was he thinking?! It's the day after Thanksgiving. Clearly that means it is Christmas time duh!
Photobucket
This show is going so well folks!
Well I guess I can eat some ice cream and try to catch up on things yes? Maybe anyway. Shin Sekai Yori episode 8 time. Spoilers for most of the internet losing their mind.

Episode Summary: Two years later and all the kids have forgotten about the ugly Queerats, how the adults tried to kill them, and that they live in a lying village on the verge of a mental breakdown. No no folks love is in the air. Or at least lust. Saki and Shun have grown their hair out and have gone on to...not have relationships with each other. Instead Saki is with Maria, Satoru is with Shun, every other student is in a gay relationship at school, and Mamoru is alone. In between classes everyone is kissing and making moon eyes at each other. Except Mamoru. He is in the corner making creepy pictures of Maria with his mind. Saki and her new hair style decide to take a walk after school and she sees Shun and Satoru playing in the grass. Shun and Saki exchange a glance while he is being teased by Satoru. Saki runs off upset and finds Maria and Mamoru. Saki basically drags Maria away from Mamoru so they can play in the water and have sex. If Maria senses anything was wrong she forgets once the weird boob touching starts. Saki seems to be just going through the motions as the Fail Eevee talks about the monkeys again. School seems to be going well, with each student focusing on a specific task. Maria has the hard task of floating and Shun is trying to make an egg hatch. Maria comments on how close Satoru and Shun are which makes Saki upset.
Photobucket
But the gay kisses...they need to make the internet explode.
Later on Saki is being a stalker and sees Shun breaking up with Satoru. Satoru takes it hard but Shun says some cruel things and walks off. Satoru immediately gets in a relationship with another boy to make Shun jealous. Maria is sad but says that she and Saki are forever so that is all that matters. Saki runs to the bathroom as she almost throws up at the thought. During class the teacher ushers in the head dude in the village. All the students do their best to impress him. Maria gets a nod while Satoru is verbally praised. Everyone watches to see what happens to Shun as he is the best student in the class. Only when the head dude comes close to Shun something...happens and pushes him away. The head dude leaves fast while the teacher is all sorries. After class everyone tries to talk to Shun and ask why he has the world's creepiest smile. Shun passes out and his egg breaks, revealing a monster eye inside. His friends continue to try to talk to Shun but he pushes them away. Later when Saki is walking around because that is all she ever does folks she happens upon Shun. He throws this weird stuff around him and warns her to stay away. Saki tries to confess her feelings to Shun but he is like um wait here. The adults know what happened to us two years ago and they just delayed the punishment. But now their time may be up. Shun is apparently being taken away and Shun wants Saki to tell the others what is going on. He gives her a necklace to protect her from cats and leaves with great sadness/craziness. THE END!
Photobucket
I would be disappointed in Saki but I never stopped so....
Well then folks. WELL THEN! I am pretty disappointed in a great number of anime fans as well as this episode. I don't even know where to begin with this hot mess of a situation. Do I start with how insane this episode made people or how insane/poor this episode was managed.
Photobucket
MY POOR EYES!!!!!
I guess I will start with how...upsetting it was reading some comments about this episode. While I know that anime fans tend to be younger and have no filters....my Lord folks. MAL especially. There were some voices of reason but a lot of I am dropping the show because of the gays, yaoi ew??! Yuri is fine but what was up with the gay stuff? All those comments are pretty hurtful. It is the year 2012. A few gay kisses and people are going to run away from this show? I am just guessing a big majority of these droppers are men. Well if us women can endure tons of animes with random fanservice that don't add ANYTHING to the episode well you can deal with these pretty innocent acts.
Photobucket
Saki is shocked...since Shun and Saki like each other and yet aren't doing each other.
The thing is....why are people so shocked? Fail Eevee TOLD US this was going to happen. Or was happening. That this monkey society was copied and set in place to keep youths stress free. So....when it was finally splashed across the screen why are people wailing they need eye bleach? They were TOLD this was the case with this show. Add in the fact that there were graphs flying around depicting the relationships of these characters and I am pretty upset that the focus is not on HOW these relationships happened but that they are happening.
Photobucket
Oh Maria...maybe there is chance you can get it later?
Obviously me and my yaoi colored glasses are gay friendly/pro gay rights. So when I find that there was something wrong with the relationships in this episode it isn't because they were gay ones. I know the Fail Eevee explained that this monkey society was going to happen. But.....it didn't state that there would ONLY be gay relationships. It explained actually that there would be basically....sex all over the place. Sex here, sex there. Sex for 14 year olds yay!!!!
Photobucket
Nope, just watching this show doesn't explain to me why no one is straight.
But there was not one straight relationship. I didn't read the source material. Many people who are shocked by this episode didn't read the source material. So we are wondering why Saki and Shun, who clearly have feelings for each other, aren't together. Sex is one thing. The Fail Eevee told us there would be sex. But the Fail Eevee did not explain that the kids would be engineered to want to form couples. And why none of these couples would be homosexual. People on boards are stating it is a form of birth control but...where was that mentioned in the episode? Why is Mamoru left out in the cold? Why are Saki and Shun not together when they keep making glances at each other? Why was EVERY couple in the school a homosexual one when clearly Saki was about to give a blow job to Satoru to two years ago? I can see why some people are calling this random and forced if none of the couples are straight.
Photobucket
Two years and everyone has lost their minds.
I know two years have passed in this story but....I just feel lost. Why are the kids not close anymore? I am assuming their seating in the classroom is based on rank. But everything just feels like a mess. Saki apparently hates herself because she knows she is using Maria. Satoru and Saki both love Shun who apparently has lost his damn mind. And Mamoru should probably be taken away by the adults because he is left out and stressed. Again I don't understand why Maria is happy with Saki when clearly Saki is looking and thinking of Shun. If these kids were engineered to have homosexual relationships until adulthood why are Saki and Shun thinking of each other? Nothing is adding up folks, for the people who haven't read the source material. Add in the fact that the gay relationships are being portrayed as something kids do and toss away later in favor of adult relationships that are straight and everyone loses. YAY!
Photobucket
Maria is just lalaing all over the place. Does she see anything?
If I need to talk about the relationships again I will say that Maria is either hiding her pain really well or is off in lala land. Satoru had a sad moment too. You could tell he was hurt and trying to be a guy about it, like it didn't matter and look at me with my new squeeze later on. Saki seems to understand that this is all forced behavior but it is doing it anyway which makes her the one causing Mamoru pain. I don't know what to think about Shun. Maybe he broke up with Satoru to protect him but maybe actually explaining that to people instead of hurting their feelings would make more sense. But when does anyone in anime make sense? Psht explaining what is going on is overrated. Best to make a big deal out of things first. How else can you be the misunderstood hero later on?
Photobucket
Um yeah I guess the sexy times are over and it is time for seriousness?
So while everyone was focused on a few gay kisses and some weird boob snuggling moment...I guess the bigger picture of WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON was overlooked. I can see how that is possible, gay kisses are powerful. But see last time we saw these kids they were told that their society was based on like 98% of the population being destroyed and ruled by a few crazies in power. That their parents, every single adult they know actually, has been lying to them about everything. That they were actually engineered, parts added to them and that their emotions might not be their own. Things like that seem more important than underage vaginas and penises touching other underage vaginas and penises.
Photobucket
You mean last time...when you nearly died?!?!?!?!
Oh...and the most important issue of all was completely forgotten about until the last minute of the damn show. THE ADULTS WERE GOING TO KILL YOU! Like dead! Sent queerats after your ass and had your powers sealed. The adults that have taken out other kids before. But somehow...somehow...everyone, including the kids in this damn show FORGOT ABOUT THIS! Hot damn folks at least the kids in I Know What You Did Last Summer exchanged glances and what not even if they grew apart. But nothing, nothing from these kids even though this will probably be a bigger issue that gay sex.
Photobucket
Oh yes. This is totally taking away Saki's stress.
So yes folks this is why I think the episode failed. The fact that I thought there were going to be more random hook-ups/using you to relieve tension moments rather than only homosexual relationships and the fact that the kids are pretty much adjusted to the fact they live in a messed up village full of killers. Saki was upset but I don't know if that is because she wanted Shun or because she knew she was programmed to want Maria and she knew that was causing others, including herself, hurt. Also these relationships were put in a bad light. I know people grow up and grow apart but now that people are coupled the kids don't seem to be close anymore. I would think they would have bonded over this trauma, not avoided each other. Maybe being around each other would bring up those horrible memories but HELLO those truths need to be remembered. THEY ARE HORRIBLE! REMEMBER THEM NOW!!!
Photobucket
Maybe they do all learn the same things and Saki is just dumb and stuck on the bottle.
So the rest of the episode. Why does this dumb school focus on teaching kids one thing? Shouldn't they train any everything? Saki and that broken piece glass. I wanted to throw the glass against the wall. Why would you want to focus on that instead of floating in the air? Or hatching an egg? I understand specialization but it looks like the weak kids will always be weak if they are stuck on the stupid tasks.
Photobucket
I would not take that position simply because the clothes are gross.
So that crazy dressed guy...what about him? He seems to be the head dude in charge of everything....But I get the feeling...just a guess....that he was there to check out Shun and Shun alone. Satoru and Maria sorry. No one cares about you two. Just Shun and his creepy smiley self making demons pop out of eggs.
Photobucket
That was probably a bad idea.
Yes what was wrong with Shun? If he thought they were being watched and the adults knew about their past transgressions why would he push the limits? It appears he had a forcefield around himself which is probably a big no no. Why not lay low, tell everyone what is going on, and not hatch demon eggs? Oh wait it is best to go crazy and bring attention to yourself? I see folks.
Photobucket
We all gonna die!
Shun was nice enough to warn Saki and to tell her to warn the others. Now why would the adults let Shun do that instead of taking him out. Or taking all the kids out lest they infect the entire school. Now I hope that Saki actually listens to Shun because partway through that conversation and I thought she was more concerned that Shun was leaving HER instead of Shun might be leaving life and so was she. Maybe she was still blinded by yaoi kisses too. People are saying that the REAL plot starts now folks. 8 episodes in and the real plot starts now? X___X What the hell is going on with this show?!

The face of something. Not sure what.
But more anime must get blogged folks! So what do I have up now? Zetsuen no Tempest episode 7. Not 8. Even though I thought I was on 8. And now I want to watch 8 because of something I saw Hakaze said. So spoilers for this not being episode 7.

I command it!
Episode Summary: Aika asks again what Mahiro wants, if he wants her to be his woman. Mahiro gets upset, saying he wouldn't ask something so rude. He gets upset with himself and her, confused about his emotions. So until Mahiro can figure things out he commands Aika not stay relationship free. She smiles and asks what he would do if she was already in a relationship? It gets all Dr. Seuss on us as Mahiro and Yoshino both think of Aika. Back in the present Yoshino is sealing up an old bus he and Mahiro are holed up in. The final battle is coming up but Hakaze is fast asleep. As the boys settle for bed Yoshino worries on what will happen to Mahiro after he gets his revenge. Mahiro breaks the silence and asks why Yoshino doesn't look at his phone as much. Of course that is because Aika is dead. In flashback land Yoshino is trying to help Aika with her homework but she rather talk about when they will finally have their first kiss. After Yoshino freaks out Aika decides that he should come with her family to their summer house so they can share a first kiss there. Yoshino wonders about Mahiro and if Aika knows how Mahiro feels about her. After parting ways Mahiro calls and makes Yoshino go on a double date with some older girls. The date goes sour as Yoshino and Mahiro focus more on outdoing the other than the girls. After the date Yoshino admonishes Mahiro, explaining a girlfriend isn't something you get, it is someone you like. Mahiro looks at Yoshino with shock, then like he understands something. Mahiro goes home and tells Aika about the double date. She starts bashing both boys but then turns in into maybe positives. She decides that personality wise Mahiro and Yoshino suit each other. Aika acts all mature about the situation but sends Yoshino a slightly jealous text.

Lets go on dates even though we are in love with someone else, the same someone else.
Mahiro interrupts this flashback asking Yoshino how it feels dating someone you like. Yoshino gets a little sad, thinking about separations and what not. The subject gets changed to stars and how once the boys saw stars together. That means another flashback folks! Back then Yoshino worried about the relationship the nonsiblings had. He has a self induced nightmare about the two kissing and nearly loses his mind. The kids end up going on the trip alone as the adults have to work. They work to clean the house and Mahiro warns Aika to stay away from Yoshino as he looks like he is plotting something. Yoshino watches as the two nonsiblings fight over cooking. Aika takes a moment though to text Yoshino and tell him to meet her somewhere. They meet under the stars and Aika explains why she likes the summer stars. The two nearly kiss but Mahiro shows up to break up the party. He talks about how he doesn't like the summer stars and then wonders why they were out there alone. He talks to Yoshino in private how Aika is a hard person to read and that Yoshino needs to keep himself on guard. Yoshino and Aika do have a moment alone later but just as Aika almost kisses Yoshino...she stops and pulls back, surprising Yoshino. Back in the present Yoshino and Mahiro get up to go to the final battle. Mahiro says he is fired up and points the gun at Yoshino. Yoshino freaks and eventually Mahiro is like did you seriously think I was going to shoot you? Lets go! And off the boys go to fight Samon. THE END!

At this point I don't even know if revenge needs to happen or will happen. Or if anything is real.
This episode was really, really weird. Like really weird. Maybe it is because I thought the series was going to be about one thing and it is turning out a different way. Also is this going to get a second season? Because Tenchi the delusional thought this was going to be at least 24 episodes or longer. Now I am all wtfing it up in here.

Final battle I see.
The only part of the episode that really had to deal with Hakaze and the Trees of Anger was the fact that the boys were talking about how it was time for the final battle. Final battle? We have only had two so far. Maybe three if we think pausing a battle means it becomes a new one. Final battle already? It just seems too fast. I didn’t want them to make friends of the week and have lame times not being able to stop the fruit but….well I guess you can travel around in Japan pretty fast since its not that big. Still…final battle already? Even if it isn’t it sounds weird.

My glasses....my poor glasses....
The reason of the episode focused on the fact that Tenchi has put aside the yaoi colored glasses and is trying to see things for what they are. Even though in a flashback ( I think the entire episode was a flashback ….) Aika was basically like yeah you and Yoshino would make a good couple Mahiro. I was like did she just say that and I agreed with it yet the glasses…I can’t put them on! I want to folks, I really do. But everything is all messed up and this love triangle is threatening to confuse my soul.

Is this really true Yoshino?
At this point I don’t know if Mahiro knew Yoshino and Aika were dating. It seems as if he should have known something is up. Aika can’t stand Yoshino but she is alone with him, looking up at the stars? Saying nice things about him? Not throwing a fit when he comes on a family vacation? Yoshino in the past kept up appearances pretty well but Mahiro seems like the kind of person who would steal your phone and look at your personal stuff. Perhaps it is Yoshino’s guilt that is eating away at him and Mahiro really isn’t upset at him. I point guns at my friends all the time too duh.

Because I am going to die soon?
This episode wasn’t really consistent with things we have been told in the past. I think Aika and Mahiro not being blood related is something new to the plot but doesn’t go against anything that has already been showed. I think that Aika telling Yoshino to be nice to Mahiro, going on about that, makes things confusing. We don’t know when Aika became the step sister. But Yoshino was “friends” with Mahiro first. It sounds like Yoshino started dating Aika because he knew her through Mahiro. Not that oh I was dating this girl and now she became your sister. Otherwise there wouldn’t be so much guilt. So….why would Aika have to tell Yoshino about Mahiro. It just seemed very out of place. So much so I have to devote a whole paragraph to it.

This is all very, very complicated.
I never thought that Aika was going to kiss Mahiro. It was all going to be a dream for the almost scene and she was going to pull back when it came to the conversation with Mahiro. So I am not sure why people were going on and on calling her names last week. I mean…I guess maybe TEASE would apply but the other things I was reading? What the hell people. Slut? For what? Aika assumed that Mahiro was asking to be a couple with her. Maybe she found the whole situation weird and was letting Mahiro know...in an aggressive way that she was not up for grabs.
Photobucket
Was that her being cute or her being....well whatever it is she is.
And on top of that did she even kiss Yoshino? That was quite confusing as well. Which makes me wonder if she had any feelings for him. She has to right? All this hiding from Mahiro and being secretive had to be for something. But then she refuses to kiss Yoshino because the flowers are watching? She was being a tease then yes. Part of me wonders if she saw Mahiro watching. But now that I think about it...was Aika doing something sinister? Was she leading both boys on? Trying to make them fight? Because most people kiss when they are going out. Usually more than that.
Photobucket
This time Mahiro interrupted but what about before?!
Now my brain is broken. Was Aika in love with Yoshino? I know that I am doubting she is dead and maybe she is related to Hakaze. But now...now everything is confusing. Especially since I have read this show is not what people think it is about. And since I think it is about trying to save the world from a giant tree...maybe it can be about an evil girl who was trying to break up a friendship for no reason. Yaoi colored glasses are off folks because now I doubt the straight couple was together. X___X Perhaps things aren't that complicated and I am making a mountain out of a confusing molehill. What is a molehill anyway? Don't they live underground and they have tunnels?
Photobucket
Ah yes the parents....where are they?
This show is hurting my brain! I WANT MY GLASSES! But even I have to draw at the line at unreasonable things. I mean....maybe Aika wasn't evil? Maybe she was trying to push the boys together because she knew she was going to be hacked up to save the world from Hakaze? What is going on? Am I even properly blogging this episode? Am I making sense folks?! Probably not because this show is making no sense. Why doesn't anyone care about the fact that Samon said he had a Hakaze skull? Well imply it. This seems to be major to me.
Photobucket
I'm not dumb boy.
I keep reading that Yoshino is the dark character of the show. The complicated one. I see how he is good at hiding his feelings and what not but I guess I have hope that Mahiro is aware of what is going on. Or did go on. He can't be all revenge and not know that he was in love with Aika right? Taking Yoshino out on the date with the college girls but really they got in a competition with themselves over Aika? Pulling out the gun? Yoshino knows what is going on right? RIGHT?!
Photobucket
Ah my best friend...
I think I am going to end this post now. It has become a hot mess of me trying to figure out what really is going on. Clearly a show that is based on two boys believing a talking wooden doll should be based in reality. Maybe Mahiro and Yoshino are dead too. Maybe this is all in the past. Maybe there is no talking doll and Yoshino is walking around with Mahiro because he knows his friend is crazy. Like um I am going to “help” you but really none of this is real and it is all in Mahiro's mind, trying to deal with the fact that he is the one who killed Aika.
Photobucket
Does she still stand? Maybe she is still alive....maybe it is all a dream.
I need to stop watching horror movies folks.
