It is called Halloween. I am sure it was a different kind of holiday before but now in the United States kids dress up in costumes, go to strangers houses, and ask for candy. Crazy yes? Well me and Huffy want in on the candy action. Happy Halloween indeed.

Nagi no Asukara episode 3

Hello there!!! Here is post number 6 that I promised last night. Because counting is hard. Work was super busy today. It was like everyone wanted to spend their lovely Saturday bringing me tons and tons of pullovers and jeans to the dry cleaners today. So this was the only anime post I got finished before beddy time. XD I know, me going to bed....at midnightish. Still late for some people but slightly early from how I used to be.
 photo naginoepisode34_zpsc8b6adbc.jpg
Bring peace where ever he goes.
I got to catch up on Cute Girls R Ships anime next. But for now have another episode of Little People In the Sea. Or the real name Nagi no Asukara. Spoilers for episode 3 include...some rather fun times despite it looking a bit sad?
 photo naginoepisode310_zps0101d380.jpg
Let me out of the net Pops!
Episode Summary: Akari is taken inside to talk to Uroko and her father. Hikari and Manaka are told to go home so they wait outside near the door. Chisaki and Kaname run up, having heard about the news. Hikari hushes them as they watch what is going on. Akari is basically sitting there and looking at the ground as the adults talk. Hikari gets upset and they end up going to their old school for a group meeting. The gang looks around at the salt covered rooms. Their entrance exam picture still hangs...with just the 4 of them. Everything is super quiet. Hikari opens up with that all of this is the boy Akari kissed fault. He must have done something to Akari. So Hikari decides he is going to hit the boy in the face. Chisaki says Hikari shouldn't do that. Hikari then decides he will talk to the boy, then sneak punch him. Chisaki and Manaka think that violence is not the answer so Hikari banishes them from the meeting. Not much happens with Hikari talking to just Kaname. Just the man is at fault. Chisaki and Manaka go to music room. Chisaki asks Manaka how she feels about Tsumugu. Manaka doesn't know but what about the future? Will she kiss Tsumugu? Will they get married? What will happen? Chisaki says that Manaka needs to sort out her feelings first. She gets all blushy and sad at the same time. Hikari and Kaname overhear most of the conversation and Hikari gets pensive. The kids then go home for the night. At dinner Akari is in high spirits, laughing at the T.V. The father is quiet and Hikari is like what is going on? Later that night Hikari hears his sister crying softly. Hikari thinks back to when their mother died. He was crying away at the funeral while Akari hugged him, being strong but really shaking. Hikari gets upset that Akari is pretending to be an adult when she is a kid and sad too. Hikari grows more upset when he learns that Akari isn't going to manga artist college. Instead she is going to the fish place to work. Hikari wants to know what is going on. Akari says there isn't enough money to send both of them to college. Hikari says he doesn't even want to go to school and will drop out. Akari hugs her brother with shaky arms saying she loves him. In the present Hikari is not pleased with how things are going. So the next day they stalk outside the man's store. He ends up driving away so Hikari steals a bike and gives chase. The other aqua kids run after Hikari. He stops at the hill spying. When Manaka catches up she says this is Tsumugu's house. Sure enough the man is making a delivery to what appears to be Tsumugu's grandfather. Hikari immediately rounds the corner to start a fight but a net is thrown on him by the old man. Tsumugu doesn't make things better by coming around as well. Once Hikari is free he is like why are you making my sister cry! The Boyfriend tries to explain his side but Gramps is like are you going to make babies with her? Hikari almost loses his mind but it is then explained if a sea person and land person have a baby it won't have ena, it will be stuck on land. That is why the kicking out of the sea rule exists.
 photo naginoepisode312_zps4ba83d8c.jpg
So....no water babies?
The kids slowly start to put this together as Boyfriend is like I didn't know this. Then Hikari gets pissed Boyfriend doesn't want to commit. Hikari loses his mind and beats on Boyfriend for a while until Gramps body slams him. Tsumugu takes care of him with some salt water rubs. The others are soaking off screen. Tsumugu asks about their ena and Hikari explains ena pulls all the moisture off their clothes to store later. Hikari asks why Tsumugu is so interested and basically the boy starts singing Part of Your World. As Tsumugu takes care of Hikari the aqua kid realizes that the land kid is a nice person....That night Akari teases Hikari about the fight. When Hikari tries to point out how this will end badly for Akari she says she knows. She intends to end it with him but wonder who she will marry since there are so few sea men. HAHAHA. Hikari starts to get mad but sees Akari is shaking again. At school the next day the 4 kids greet Tsumugu. Manaka is like why are you calling him by his first name?! Hikari says it's okay when bros do it. Manaka insists the girls can do it too. Tsumugu doesn't seem to care but the other land kids are staring. After school the group works on the ceremony doll. Their teacher wants to take the kids out for ramen but the time will be too late for the sea kids. Tsumugu is like let me show you want I made. He shows them the world's largest puddle and everyone is like AMAZING! Now the kids and knee fish will be okay. Manaka runs away but then comes back. She explains she lied about the fish and that he swam away. But if he comes back or if she gets cursed again Manaka will show Tsumugu. Tsumugu starts to laugh at Manaka being insane. Manaka blushes and Hikari gets a little jealous. He throws Tsumugu in playfully and they wrestle friendly. The other water kids jump in and yay friendship. On the way home Hikari sees Boyfriend driving sadly by. He tells the others he will catch up later. He goes to the shop and sees the rude little girls. The quieter one asks Hikari to help break up THAT woman and her dad. DAD?! Wtf?! THE END!!!
 photo naginoepisode317_zpsc13d8dba.jpg
Say what?!
There is still a high concentrate of fluff in this show. I don't think it will end in tears and three dead friends and a busted down village. Maybe it will and it will surprise me. For now things are....okay. Not perfect but things will work out positively in the end. That is the feeling I am getting. Despite there not being enough girls for the boys. A happy slice of super natural life with a side of romance and a drizzle of drama. Sound delicious anyone?
 photo naginoepisode3_zps305cc877.jpg
We must watch all the sadness.
Despite being told to hit the road Hikari and Manaka stuck around and despite the village looking big Chisaki and Kaname both heard what happened and made it there in record time. Gossipy fish humans. Even though Hikari was a little spy face he didn't really witness a lot. Really anything. Akari just sat there while Uroko and her father lectured her. But even then it didn't appear to be harsh. Not like how the villagers were treating Akari. Like rarw time for a flogging. More likely Akari was just told how serious this was. The consequences of her actions. Since Akari isn't dumb I am sure she already knew it. Just she had to sit there and be caught. Sometimes a person can known the truth and pretend to live in a bubble of denial. Akari just had her bubble popped.
 photo naginoepisode36_zps3c61ef0b.jpg
You better get sure!
Being Hikari this was awful and unacceptable. Time for a meeting where no one will find them. The middle school of abandonedness. Now I can start to see the real issue at play. The picture of the entrance photo explains it all. The school shut down because there are only 4 kids. Perhaps the teacher did die and this was their solution for the time being. But yes folks. It appears there are no other kids who went to this school. This village looks pretty big from the surface but those places are either empty or lack children. The sea people are dying out. Oh woe is the old Japanese way of life which is clearly what the underlining message is. No wonder there are such strict rules. This is serious business folks!! People keep leaving the ocean and there isn't enough people left to populate. You think there would be a rule, that no one is allowed above the surface before 30, would help this situation but NOOOOO. Allowing anyone to go above surface will clearly create no temptations at all.
 photo naginoepisode35_zps19f814c1.jpg
Gently hitting gosh!
This is what Hikari has decided. That Akari was tempted. And it was all this surface man's fault. Now I am sure super deep down Hikari knows Akari was at fault too, if there is fault at all. And that some of Hikari's anger is misdirected at Tsumugu for “tempting” Manaka. Because it is easier to blame the surface people than the girls close to him. Hikari's solution to the situation is hitting. Even if the Boyfriend turns out to be a nice guy. He will just hit him gently. Don't you hit people gently all the time? This is all super unacceptable.
 photo naginoepisode37_zps82d1e61b.jpg
I like how Chisaki really is trying to help despite how she feels too.
Since Chisaki and Manaka took the we shouldn't be fighting at all stance they were kicked out of the meeting. The meeting that was probably just Hikari saying he as going to him Boyfriend and Kaname nodding his head. This meant the girls were left to explore the music room. Sorta sad to see this place empty. Also why isn't anyone taking care of the salt problem? Anyways while Hikari was worrying about losing his sister Manaka was talking about maybe leaving home, kissing Tsumugu, and starting a family. You know, once Manaka figures out if she likes Tsumugu or not. This is me sighing. Love at first sight. See the Little Mermaid is different because she ALWAYS wanted to be part of their world. Prince Eric was just icing on the cake. It wasn't like she went WHELP I see a guy, peace out ya'll. With Manaka she seems...nice. The kind of nice that can only happen in animes because if she was real she either be dead or annoying. So as sweet as Manaka is HER love at first sight is just too...special. She seems blinded by the idea of love and not the ramifications. Sometimes love is enough but there is still suffering.
 photo naginoepisode39_zpsb607333c.jpg
Memories of sadness.
After hearing Manaka talk that way Hikari decided they all should call it quits. Because going home to awkward normalcy is better ya'll. Only this is an act. Akari really is heart broken. Guess the talk didn't go well. This causes Hikari to think back to other times when Akari was tough and brave on the outside but really upset and hurt on the inside. The specific time period was when their mother died. Hikari was crying and crying but Akari held him and said it would be okay. Only she was upset too. Akari really noticed his sister's brave face when she gave up going to college so one day he could go. Now I could point out how...Akari was planning on leaving the sea anyway unless there are magical manga colleges under the sea or her bathtub would always have to be full of salt. Also I could point out Hikari is just in middle school and maybe Akari could have worked part time and went to school to help out. But I won't. I will just point out how Akari was saying drawing tiny little fish on signs was enough for her and how Hikari didn't buy that bullshit. And he isn't buying it now. All his life his sister has thought of the family. So he is upset she picked this dude but is happy she was thinking of herself for a change.
 photo naginoepisode313_zpsa4501988.jpg
See the ass kicking?!
Still the boyfriend needed an ass beating. Duh. It took a little while to get to said ass beating. First we had to stalk the boyfriend. Then we had to steal his bike to chase after him, up a mountain. Then before the landing blow could be made...it's net time. Thanks Gramps. Like really? Was there any other way to stop Hikari? So many jokes folks.
 photo naginoepisode311_zpsbf25b156.jpg
That....almost makes sense....
Gramps is from the sea ya'll. I think I forgot to mention that in my summary. But Hikari spotted some shiny ena. Which explains a few things. One is why Tsumugu is so interested in the sea. That's where his peoples come from. Although he might be unaware of it. Two...when you get banished from the sea you can still LIVE in the sea if you wanted to. Which makes sense. It might take a lot of effort but it's not like they are going to go all Pirates of the Caribbean on you. And three this explains why Gramps knows what he knows. Like how a baby from a sea parent and land parent will be born with no ena. He has experience. This is horrible folks. If Akari had a baby it couldn't live in the sea. Goodbye population of the sea people.
 photo naginoepisode315_zpsaeb7b0da.jpg
And then the moon crashed on Hikari's face.
Boyfriend didn't know this. And he worded it wrong, how he would have acted had he known. Thus Hikari beating his ass. That's my sister!! Gramps knocks Hikari (which he thanks later for) and Tsumugu tends to Hikari (who he thanks begrudgingly). I think it's odd that ena acts like a sponge but I guess it makes sense. Like a camel, keeping them hydrated while they are out of the water. This is here Hikari asks why Tsumugu cares so much about the ocean. Again I don't think Tsumugu likes Manaka romantically (yet). It's just the idea of her. From the ocean folks!! Seeing Tsumugu talk about the ocean so made Hikari realize Tsumugu isn't a jerk. A rival maybe. Don't you hate it when your sworn enemy is nice?
 photo naginoepisode316_zps22850d1c.jpg
Oh okay then.
Akari continued to demonstrate how bad her poker face is. I do wonder what happened though. Who called Akari? Boyfriend? Gramps? Someone else who works at the store? And who broke up with who? Both Akari and Boyfriend looked so sad later I assume the breaking up happened already. Maybe it was just pre break up sadness. Akari said she WAS going to break up with him. But then why did the Boyfriend call? Your brother beat me up after I learned the truth about our possible future but I love you and I know we can make it work? HMMMM. Either way Hikari is in love and this hurts. Plus it doesn't sound like homegirl has a lot of options. This village truly is dying out. Poor Akari for actually developing feelings and not...well I don't see how with end well for anyone unless the kids find a way to grow ena back on people.
 photo naginoepisode319_zps6b469f13.jpg
WOOHOO we all like each other now weeee!
Turn that frown upside down though. Small miracles are happening. Hikari may or may not hate Tsumugu. Might have even called him by his first name. Which you know drove Manaka crazy. They are bros yo!! The fun times kept on coming. Their teacher was so impressed with their doll making he offered to take them out for ramen but....oh their ena. Never fear Tsumugu is here with Friendship Pond. That is what I named it folks. Why it looks big enough for one person to lay in it but in anime reality you can throw someone in it and they won't die and you can flop in it and not break your back. A soup for 5 please. Yay Friendship Pond.
 photo naginoepisode318_zpsfaf364a3.jpg
That fish swam away from insanity....
Oh and Friendship Pond may or may not have been brought to you buy Manaka's insanity. For some reason Tsumugu thought the fish knee was permanent. Oh silly boy. Manaka and her inability to lie self couldn't handle the moment and ran away. She came back in like 5 seconds but it was too late. She is weird. Almost too weird to live. She explained her lie to Tsumugu and made it sound like she wanted to get cursed again. Don't cast me out!! Which....you know is insane. Tsumugu cracks a smile, Manaka blushes, and Hikari wants to get mad. But deep down he knows that Manaka is infectious and he really can't blame Tsumugu.
 photo naginoepisode320_zpsd4f43895.jpg
Wait your dad?!?!
The episode ends with Hikari knowing he has done Boyfriend wrong. I don't think Hikari should feel guilty about crying. I mean it's not really his fault it turned out this way. Punching boyfriend bad but I guessing Uroko and Dad told her about the baby situation so...not Hikari's fault there. Still Hikari wants to make things right even though there is nothing he can really do about it. It is what it is. But I think spending time with Tsumugu has made him realize that not all land dwellers are bad. So....onward he goes to do something. He never gets there of course because the brat are in his way. Spying too. So...I was wrong. They weren't picking on Akari because that is their brother. Wrongo. One is....his daughter? Oh snap Akari is about to be a step mommy? Not if the little girl has anything to do with it! Stay tuned for....relatives trying to make things better but actually making them worse.

Machine Doll wa Kizutsukanai episode 2

WEEE I have made it through to post 5. Things have changed a lot recently. Before I worked a lot of hours on a few days. Now I work a decent amount of hours on a lot of days. Still trying to figure out a schedule so please bear with me and my tardy self. Believe me I want to get caught up on anime just as much as everyone else as I have decided no Pokemon until I am mostly caught up. I only got two badges folks!
 photo machinedollepisode211_zpsf5252058.jpg
He cares about me!
So before I dive back into Pokemon land lets take a swim in robot land. Machine Doll wa Kizutsukanai episode 2 is up for your enjoyment. Spoilers for Raishin being super popular already.
 photo machinedollepisode210_zpsa48701b5.jpg
Why do you care so much Charlotte?
Episode Summary: Raishin joins Yaya out the window to confront Magnus. Charlotte joins the group outside but keeps her distance. She talks to Sigmund about how Magnus is beyond strong and going up against him will be suicide. Raishin has a cocky smile on as he confronts Magnus. Magnus has no idea who Raishin is and tries to walk on by. Raishin decides he doesn't care if he is right and orders Yaya to attack. Only in a blink of an eye Magnus's hoes...turn into 6 robots and surround Raishin. One even draws blood as her weapon touches his neck. Raishin then says all he wanted to do was hand a vial of something to Magnus. Magnus acts like this is no big deal as he takes said vial and walks away with all his hoes. Charlotte runs up to Raishin to tell him what a giant moron he is. Magnus is a super special kind of puppeteer, that he can control up to 6 puppets at once. Raishin says he knows that Magnus is from from a special family. Charlotte tries to yell more but Raishin walks away. Charlotte continues to be upset but Sigmund is impressed. Raishin had asked Sigmund how he was doing, instead of asking Charlotte the puppeteer. That must make him special. Back in his room Raishin is taking a shower in the middle of a room with no shower curtain. He is upset about this whole situation. He has flashbacks from a few years ago. He rain into his home/estate to find all the servants dead, his dad splattered on the ground, and a fire consuming everything. He finds a young girl also dead on a table and screams. Back in the present Yaya strips and joins Raishin in his walk down memory lane. She is a combination of supportive and wanting to take his mind off everything by grabbing his penis. Raishin protests. The next day Raishin is walking to class when someone confronts him. His name is Felix and basically he is on the disciplinary committee. Something shady is happening at the school and he wants Raishin's help. Raishin is like um no. Felix says he can get Raishin some qualifications if he helps and that makes Raishin stop and think. He thinks so much he gets chalk thrown at him by Kimberly. He tries to save face but he has no idea what the answer is to her question. Kimberly calls on Charlotte who knows the most popular circuit in dolls. Kimberly explains a brief bit on how dolls work but reminds everyone they aren't and never will be human.
 photo machinedollepisode216_zps4672965f.jpg
What an amazing plan!
After class Charlotte sees Raishin talking to Felix and is like what is going on?! Sigmund says Charlotte cares about the situation because she likes Felix. She denies it but goes to spy anyway. Raishin wants to know why Felix wants him to play detective. Felix says he knows Raishin is not the person they are after so he can trust him. Raishin also appears to be very strong. Raishin accepts these answers and is given lovely photos to look at. Apparently almost a dozen robots have been destroyed and 2 dozen students have gone missing. The culprit is Cannibal Candy, a robot who eats other robots. Another disciplinary person Lisette walks in and says another incident has happened. A small crowd has gathered around a half eaten robot. Felix gets Raishin through the crowd and Raishin thinks the robot belongs to one of the people who attacked Charlotte. He agrees to help but in his own way. Charlotte is also nearly but freaks out when Raishin notices her. Lisette wants to pull Raishin aside and tell him something in private. Yaya protests at being told to leave and surely thinks Lisette wants the Raishin Peen. In private Lisette tells Raishin to be careful of Charlotte. The Cannibal Candy robot is a special kind, one that is also made up of organic material. Sigmund is also that type of robot. Raishin takes this all in but it probably all falls out when Yaya is jealous of the touching and tries to do some of her own. Later Raishin tries to do some investigating of his own but runs across Charlotte again. Charlotte has morphed into a stuttering girl who blushes all the time. Instead of asking Charlotte for help on the case he asks her on a date. Yaya is like NOOOOOO and Sigmund agrees to wait there with Yaya. The two students leave the school while Yaya tries to drown Sigmund in her tears because Charlotte is surely a ho. Sigmund asks why Yaya is beyond attached to Raishin, more than a normal robot/master relationship. Yaya can't explain it. Raishin and Charlotte explore the town all happy skippy like. Charlotte grows hungry so Raishin takes her out. They talk and get to know each other which is interesting given how angry Charlotte was just a few hours ago. She talks about why being Wiseman is important to her. The Queen has done a lot for her family and it is expected of her. Charlotte hints that she has done some things that she is not so proud of. Sigmund has been in her family for years and....well apparently eats meat. I don't know. Raishin and her continue to talk but he doesn't state why he is at this school. Charlotte starts to open up but that quickly ends when they arrive back at the school and they see...mist. Which apparently means Cannibal Candy is nearby and is eating their machines WHAT?! THE END!!
 photo machinedollepisode213_zpsac048242.jpg
She's the killer!
Episode two and already Raishin is the most important person in school. Obviously there is way more to this, why Raishin was chosen to be “detective”. Probably more like no one likes a new kid right? Even so...typical anime behavior. New kids are always more awesome than the other kids in school. Go new kids!!!
 photo machinedollepisode2_zps88739b93.jpg
Okay there were a few people on the sidewalk but still....more people!
Charlotte was quick to follow Raishin....but no one else did. Interesting. Not many looky loos here? Well more amazing ass kickin for us right? Mask man Aka Magnus will defeat Raishin and this will be the shortest anime ever. Well except for the one with the study bug and violent kid falling “in love” by the end of episode 2 too....
 photo machinedollepisode24_zpsf73a838b.jpg
Err...you done lost?
Only...there was no battle. I don't know if it was a big troll, to have Raishin jump out of the window only to give Magnus a vial or if Raishin was going to attack the whole time and was like oh shit this is not going well. Because I too thought Magnus only had two hooker robots. Suddenly hommie had 6. yeah I would probably back off too. Of course I wouldn't be all noble and sit around waiting for things to be fair. I would get my revenge in any way possible. Like oh you are asleep or your back is turned? TIME TO DIE!
 photo machinedollepisode22_zpsaffe1533.jpg
Dead sister alert?
In any event Raishin was not attacking today. Because ass kicking so early in the show might be a knock out. Like oppies you are out of the school. Magnus claims not to know Raishin. This could mean a few things. Maybe he runs around killing so many people he doesn't remember Raishin's situation. Like um...which dead special person do you know, there are so many? A real asshole. Or he could have been under an evil spell at the time and can't remember/can't be held responsible for his actions. Or.... the more likely one...it wasn't him. Even though it clearly looks like him. Raishin wants revenge but it well turn out not to be Magnus. I really doubt it was him. But it could be...all this fluff stuff could be a lie.
 photo machinedollepisode25_zps4ed4bd7a.jpg
Err...have a bottle?
Either way Raishin was surrounded in just a second and could have been killed. This Magnus is either not the killer or isn't stupid enough to do it with people around. All Raishin ends up doing is giving Magnus the bottle (or what, explosives? Poisons?) and walks away. I bet this damages his reputation even more. If he had one or cared. The stupid new kid who challenged Magnus, the top person at this school, during his first week of school and lost in a second. Charlotte tries to talk about how stupid Raishin is while her Robot Sigmund sees it differently. Being a robot I am sure he can see things in a different light so...you know...he picked up on the fact that Raishin asked him personally how he was doing. Signifying that Raishin sees robots as people too. And that is why he will become Wiseman. That's his special heart power.
 photo machinedollepisode26_zps9c89f503.jpg
Asses for all!
For our pervert scene today we got some asses. Male ass too. And not in a comical setting. My brain almost shut down in confusion. Or maybe my brain was just confused on why Raishin was taking a shower in the middle of the room with no curtains? Did I miss something? The moment was supposed to be sad, with Raishin thinking about his entire dead household. Servants, dad, probably baby sister, pet cat, the horse. All dead. He wants revenge. Yaya joins him in the show, naked of course. She tries to be supportive but that moment was quickly lost when she tried to initiated sexy times. HMMMM pervertness.
 photo machinedollepisode28_zps24790398.jpg
Magic 101 folks.
Things don't really improve much for Raishin the next day. He is thinking about Magnus and how one of his dolls looks like his dead special person. I thought that is who Yaya was based on. But yeah this was during class and Ms. Kimberly and her curves throws chalk at Raishin because he is not paying attention to her. Nor did he know the answer to the question. Charlotte did though. Because they are in the same class. Charlotte is ranked 1st I think (2nd if Magnus counts) and Raishin is in the same class as her. I am sure this makes sense. As does that brief intro to the magical circuit land. I mean...I need more info than that. The main circuit is the heart of blah. It gives the robot's their personalities and abilities to... well be alive. But never forget these robots aren't equal to humans. Because they aren't. XO There was more brief knowledge given and Kimberly claimed this was beginner information. However it wasn't enough for me. Unless everyone is just magical now and this part is inside robots and that is how they can move, talk, and fight. Maybe I am just overly complicating it? Magic but with robots? Robots having moving parts so I guess they needed to throw in some resemblance of an explanation.
 photo machinedollepisode29_zps690268b7.jpg
Like duh everyone knows that.
Oh Raishin was also thinking of Felix during class when he wasn't paying attention. Before classes started Felix wanted to ask Raishin for a favor. Raishin was guarded as he should be. This school really doesn't give off the warm and fuzzy vibes. Not when a lot of people are competing for a few slots for the chance to kill each other....I mean top dog. So I am glad Raishin was cautious. Well until Felix mentioned he would be handsomely rewarded for his time. You want to go to the party? Well I can give you some qualifications? Want to help now? Raishin was slightly suckered in. Also am I confused? I thought you had to earn a lot of qualifications to take part in this party. But maybe you only need one? Like you steal someone else's and that is it? No matter how strong a person is maybe they only have one? I don't know, Kimberly said top 100 so I think you need a whole bunch of tickets. Maybe each person only have one so 1,400 students will be left out as everyone done stole their tickets?

This looks serious....
In any event Felix is bribing Raishin into playing detective. Because Raishin is clearly strong. He must have gotten a low entry into the school due to not knowing the basics. Felix can just sense Raishin is strong. And since he just got here he can't be the killer. Who is called Cannibal Candy. I am not sure what is up with this name. A bit disturbing yessie? And it makes no sense. Or maybe it will make sense later. The point is Felix needs Raishin's help. There have been many missing kids and destroyed robots at this school. WHERE ARE THE ADULTS?! Like um these kids that we are raising to be important somewhere in life are just...poofing and life moves on. It was quite a few kids too, not just one or two. You would think that would get the rumor mill running and more students would be scared. Nope nope. There are just half eaten robots all over the place. Can't hide the evidence can we? Now the part of the robot that is eaten looks like where the main circuit is so I am sure this will be important later.
 photo machinedollepisode215_zps45d164da.jpg
A smoke screen?
But that is later folks. For now we are laying down the ground work. When Raishin was brought into the case there was another disciplinary member. And this one had things to tell Raishin. Lisette seems to think that Charlotte might be the Cannibal Candy person. I guess there aren't a lot of bio-robots running around. I am sure there are reasons why Lisette thinks this. Or is pretending to think this. Maybe she likes Felix and is trying to pin it on Charlotte. Maybe she really does think it is Charlotte. The more likely answer would be Lisette is the Cannibal Candy person. Of course that could all be a red herring. Like oh it must be Lisette when really it is Felix since the people who are being attacked might be the ones picking on Charlotte.
 photo machinedollepisode217_zps9ec8f26c.jpg
Yay cries pearls.
This is all set aside temporarily though as Charlotte and Raishin go on a date. Yeah a bit surprising. Can't there be more build up? Oh love at first sight happens a lot for teenagers. Well carry on though. Raishin is taking this detective stuff seriously. Yaya of course was totally happy with this arrangement. If by happy I mean she lost her mind and was crying all over the place. Sigmund was like okay, whatever I am a robot. He did take the time to try to understand Yaya's utter devotion. Turns out it is not a natural thing yet Yaya gave us no answers. Please stand out in the open and wait for the Cannibal Candy to eat your robot brains.
 photo machinedollepisode219_zpsf89474c5.jpg
Well that answered some questions so yay...?
While this date was random and out of the ordinary Raishin and Charlotte did get to know each other a bit. Or at the least the audience did. Charlotte hinted to Sigmund's...past. How he is a special kind of robot. I am sure it is not as bad as Lisette makes it sound. He just likes chicken ya'll. Charlotte seems rather sad about her situation. Like look at me putting on my tough girl act but really there is a lot of family pressure and rumors flying around me. Raishin didn't flat out explain why he was at the school but we learned a bit about him. There is a reason he fights alongside Yaya. He is supposed to be like Magnus (but I doubt they are related because hello they would know each other then) and be able to control multiple dolls. But since he took up puppeteer as a revenge thing he has this training rushed and well...he isn't that great at it. Is that why Yaya has feelings for him? Probably not but that is why Raishin is running around being magical. He is using himself as a doll. Because concentrating just on Yaya would make too much sense. This all explains why Raishin got such a low score and doesn't seem to know the basics. He is just going to rush into things and heart power will guide him to victory.
 photo machinedollepisode220_zpse84edd78.jpg
How do they know it's Cannibal Candy?! Also what a name....
The episode ends before Charlotte and Raishin can get too close. They head back to school and see fog. Or mist. Something covering up their vision. And immediately assume it is Candy Crush..I mean Wreck it Ralph...I mean Cannibal Candy. There is no explanation on why they think this. I doubt they are wrong but...yeah way to jump to conclusions. Maybe if all these things are happening so fast there is a chance that the missing kids are still alive? HMMMMM where are the adults again?!

New Anime Series: Machine Doll wa Kizutsukanai episode 1

I am sorta scared to look and see how many more episodes I am actually behind on. I am thinking that Vampire Brothers Who Suck will be put on the super back burner as everyone had really negative things to say about that show. But I must get caught up on the other 4 shows I am watching this season at least.
 photo machinedollepisode17_zps5ebabb73.jpg
And I am here to save you all.
Like Nancy from Nightmare on Elm Street my eyes grow tired. Hopefully I won't be slashed in my dreams. Up now is a NEW anime series. I think this show might have started earlier than the rest? Does that mean I am the most behind on it? Machine Doll wa Kizutsukanai episode 1 is here...finally! Thought I posted it before the trip. Spoilers for perverted dolls and the boy who owns it.
 photo machinedollepisode16_zps0de334d0.jpg
Fighting along side his robot I see.
Episode Summary: Aboard a train a young girl keeps whispering various love phrases into a boy's ear. The boy (Raishin) eventually wakes up and tells Yaya to quit. The pair has sparked interest of a young girl traveling with her mom. They are all on a train heading to a massive city, home to the birth place of robots/magic to control them. Yaya is trying to get Raishin to fall in love with her and it is ending badly. Raishin is more focused on the task at hand, which is attending a special school. Yaya tries to talk about sexy things and is upset at the constant mention of Youko. Something goes wrong on the train. It misses it's train station stop and is accelerating to a stop with a giant brick wall or something equally as upsetting. There is a panic but Raishin orders Yaya to pull all the breaks. Yaya and her ridiculous shoes jump from car to car pulling all the breaks but nothing seems to stop the train. Raishin joins Yaya outside and decides they need to stop the train from the front. They super jump all over the place and scale bridges to reach the front of the train. Yaya holds the train back while Raishin chants some spells powering Yaya up. She manages to sorta stop the train, slightly derailing it. The young girl asks Raishin if he is a mage but Raishin says he is a puppeteer. Her mother realizes that Yaya is a robot. The pair are impressed until Yaya tries getting sexual with Raishin. Raishin tells Yaya to stop acting like that in public as they make their way to the grand school. Raishin says once they enter they won't be able to leave for a while. Yaya agrees this is fine because all she wants is to be with Raishin.

You ready for this school?
Yaya waits in a hallway as Raishin takes a placement test. He returns from the room having placed second to last in the entire school. Yaya tries to cheer Raishin up. All he wants is his revenge, surely he can improve. The woman who gave Raishin the test emerges from the room as ell, still not impressed with Raishin and slightly upset she is his homeroom teacher. She briefly explains what this school is about, training those to use puppets better. That many go on to be used in the military. She asks Raishin what his goal is and he states he wants to attend the special “party” the school holds. The woman (Kimberly) explains the party is for the top 100 students and is basically a free for all fight to crown the best puppeteer. She asks if Raishin is seeking fame and fortune but it is clear by his attitude he wants neither but will gain both. Kimberly has her doubts Raishin can earn enough qualification but wishes him luck anyway. Raishin attempts to find his dorm room but runs into a rude girl named Charlotte. Eventually he finds his room and tries to adjust to his life on campus. Yaya tries to adjust herself on Raishin's penis but he is too busy thinking about his status. The next morning Charlotte is being avoided by the majority of the students. Her puppet dragon Sigmund explains why everyone thinks she is scary. Charlotte is like I don't need any friends, we are all enemies at this school.

I want your points top ranker!
Raishin walks up and says he wants a battle. Charlotte basically calls him a jerk 19 times but agrees to wipe the floor with him. A small crowd gathers as the Asian Boy is going up against the best in the school. Sigmund dragon transforms into this huge creature and he and Yaya start going at it. The fight has barely started when tons of other puppets start attacking Charlotte. The boys are mad at Raishin for taking the planned day of attack. Raishin basically calls all the boys cowards. Charlotte uses Sigmund to attack all these new puppets but she really is outnumbered. Yaya and Raishin start attacking all the other puppets in a weird way. Raishin had started saying a chant while he was attacking Charlotte but he finishes it now. This seems to make Raishin and Yaya go super fast. They attack super slow but in real time it's fast if that makes sense. They finish off most of the puppets and Charlotte is able to help. One of the boys knocks Charlotte off her dragon but Raishin catches her. Another boy attacks Raishin directly but he is able to protect himself. The boys are all defeated. Charlotte wants to continue her fight with Raishin but Raishin declines. Charlotte calls Raishin a coward but Mr. Dragon Sigmund points out that Raishin noticed he was injured. Sigmund requests he rest for a few days. That night Yaya tries to snuggle with Raishin so she can recover faster. Raishin allows for brief sharing of the same bed. He lays there thinking about what he is going to do at this school. Outside it appears someone's robot is attacked by something. The next day Charlotte is like...why are you bitches sitting at my table? Raishin and Yaya are eating away. Charlotte demands Raishin pay her back for the food since he forgot his wallet. Charlotte actually wants Raishin to sit somewhere else as everyone is starting at them. As Raishin is eating he sees a badly dressed man and his badly dressed hoes walking down the sidewalk. He is full of rage and memories at that man who killed someone close to him. He orders Yaya to attack. She bursts through the window as Charlotte says Raishin will never win in a panic state. THE END!!!!

Look how much fun episode 2 is going to be weee!
So....that was interesting. Pretty art and...maybe different. Not too much was explained though. I mean I think the synopsis did a better job of explaining the basic principals. But that really doesn't help anyone. I think episode 1's should help set the foundation of the series. Not explain everything but give you an idea of what to expect.
 photo machinedollepisode12_zps5a865bb4.jpg
What an interesting outfit she is wearing....
What I am expecting with this show is a bit of fanservice. Which I knew going in. If you are mentally prepared for these things you can handle them better. If it stays at this level I think I will be okay. I mean...it could be a total naked fest since these are robots. People are perverts. While I understand this is to sell anime I wish companies wouldn't be such sell outs. Like Americans and their obsession with cars exploding when they hit anything. Yaya's schtick might get old and I think she made a joke 2 too many times. But yeah...for now this is an acceptable level of pervness. We start seeing machines looking all Queen's Blade and we will have some problems.
 photo machinedollepisode19_zpsc17abcba.jpg
Yaya wants to use Raishin's tool I think.
Perhaps the closeness between Yaya and Raishin will be explained? Why she feels this way anyway. Most robots have to be programmed yes? Although in anime ships can have personalities and robots can marry people. Maybe Yaya is just the most special robot ever. Or they feed off their master's mana AND feelings. Towards the end of the episode, when Raishin is having harsh feelings towards Magnus it looks like Magnus killed someone Raishin was close to. And that person looked like Yaya does. So maybe Yaya is just reacting to these feelings. You know, if the dead girl Yaya is based on isn't Raishin's sister. Just a bit creepy.

Same world, different path?
From what I have gathered this is a universe not in the future, but maybe an alternate timeline? Like Full Metal Alchemist. We got trains as a major transportation system and Raishin being from the East is so rare. The Japanese puppeteer!!!! I mean it could be the post apocalyptic future and Asia got wiped out. But yeah it seems like it isn't set in the here or future. We get magic instead of...was it nuclear power? I have never really seen Full Metal Alchemist.....
 photo machinedollepisode112_zpsd2329b25.jpg
That seems self explanatory.
Anyway there is a major difference in this world. It SEEMS to be new. Since proper explanation didn't take place I am not sure how new this discovery is. Seems new to me, the way some people were reacting. If this ability was old more people would have been able to stop the train. Like the train station itself would have workers with puppets to help out. Also given the “models” outside the train station means to me robots themselves aren't that new, just the technology to man them is. I could be wrong though. It does happen 99 percent of the time.
 photo machinedollepisode111_zpsd05479c1.jpg
Who cares about robots, I got things to do!
Given how many students are in the school I am guessing it might be a newer...thing. You know, to keep the cast young. Only people born after such date have the gene mutation/manipulation to....well hat is it? I assumed it was the ability to control robots. Like Angelic Layer but with larger/skankier robots. But when the train started to get out of control Raishin leapt into action. Raishin also fought against several classmates later in the episode. Yaya did state a robot's power/healing ability comes from a master's closeness. But what exactly is going on? They said magic. Well the little girl asked Raishin if he was a mage. He said no, a puppeteer. So there must be a difference. Yaya did say mana which means magic. I could see lifeforce, like we can make machines and if you dream it, it can happen. But Raishin himself was jumping around and being amazing. What exactly is it then?
 photo machinedollepisode110_zps0e5ba047.jpg
Err...at least you got in.
No clear answers for now it seems. What we do know is Raishin is going to a school for puppeteers. They can be used as military weapons yet clearly not everyone has one. Only certain people as the train nearly crashed. And as amazing as Raishin looked...he is second to last in that school. A school with over 1,500 students. So yeah...there must be more to this magic robot nonsense then we think. I did notice a was outside during the test. If puppeteers fight with their puppets how can you tell who is powerful without them? I mean clearly Raishin will come up on top as the most amazing puppeteer ever because his desire will trump actual abilities. Still...how did this test take place without Yaya?
 photo machinedollepisode116_zps5805d77e.jpg
Dramatic way of looking at life weee!
Either way welcome to the school. Even the suckiest student is still better than regular folk right? I am above everyone weeeee. Surely anyone at this school has a bright future. But Raishin is aiming for the top. The super top. The top 100 students get invited to a party. A party that sounds more like the Hunger Games but with cake....details! All these 100 students will fight to be the top dog. But clearly that's not what Raishin wants as his super blunt homeroom teacher Kimberly states. A certain person will be at this party, someone Raishin wants revenge on. Yaya tries to lighten the mood by saying this person is all Raishin talks about but...yeah. Hatred. Kimberly doesn't seem to think Raishin can do it. Can't blame her really. I am sure whatever is causing Raishin's score is mental. Like you are so focused on revenge you can't reach your potential. Or maybe he doesn't have enough mana. Either way this is going to be a long road to the top.
 photo machinedollepisode118_zps847a588f.jpg
This will be a piece of cake. XD
Or....or...Raishin can challenge the top person at the school on the first day. Like forget homeroom, it's battle time! The way Kimberly explained it one does not simply earn a better rank through grades and battles. Well it is battles but it is more like on a point system. What was the word? Qualification? Yes I think. The higher rank you are the more qualifications you have, more to “steal” if you win. And instead of challenging...you know...the weakest person in the school to get a feel for system Raishin decides nope. I am going to go to the top. Not sure how many points one loses/earns in each fight. Could Raishin have lost all his points the first day?
 photo machinedollepisode114_zpsa2409eba.jpg
A real people person.
Enter Charlotte. According to her robot Sigmund she is a real delight to work with. Everyone fears her and she is on top for a reason. Friends are for chumps. I mean...I guess I can understand her thinking. Don't want to get close to people. They might be your “enemy” one day and use your tactics against you. But how lonely must that be? Maybe part of it is for protection. Or not. She was rude to Raishin five seconds after meeting him.
 photo machinedollepisode117_zpsf10fbc5d.jpg
Thanks for waiting your turn!
These battles seem to be um......not regulated. I was going to say one on one battles but since that isn't the case...battles. Raishin was like battle me and so it was. Does anyone get a choice in the matter? I would have been like punk I ain't got time for you. Charlotte decided to take him on though. With a lot of trash talking. Okay maybe she is just a jerk....
 photo machinedollepisode119_zps5c72c65c.jpg
I can't hurt an injured dragon yo.
I am not sure why Raishin got such a low rank. It appeared he was doing well on his own, against the strongest person in the school. Is it the fact that he fights along side Yaya? Perhaps he can't keep that pace up for long. He can only move super fast for a short time. But he was doing a good job against Charlotte. I am sure she would have won outright had...you know....half the school not attacked her. It's a battle free for all folks. There needs to be rules guys. You could be in the bathroom and get attacked? I think not. Charlotte should call those toads cowards, not Raishin who helped her and realized it wouldn't be a fair battle since Sigmund got injured. Yaya appears to be strong and I didn't see anyone else fighting with their puppets. Maybe Raishin is special.
 photo machinedollepisode121_zps9604b574.jpg
How about you leave now punk?!
Charlotte and Raishin are best friends now, didn't you know? Charlotte is so thrilled. I am not sure why Raishin has decided to sit next to her. Like I respect you as a competitor so I will sit with you? Charlotte seems ticked that she has to sit with the lowest (okay second lowest) ranking kid in school. Not trying to be elitist but I can see how that might be an issue. Like don't use me to gain fame. Perhaps Charlotte with educate Raishin...nicely. Heal up little dragon.
 photo machinedollepisode1_zpsc004107b.jpg
MY SWORN ENEMY!
The episode ends with Raishin losing his mind. The reason why he is at this school, his revenge, walks by. Mangus is a sad fashion victim, along with having two fashion victim friends/slaves/robots. And Raishin wastes no time making Yaya flying through the window to attack him. This will probably end badly. Like super badly. There doesn't seem like there are a lot of rules to battling but I think fighting the head honcho is a giant no/no. For various reasons but mainly because you have to earn that right. Raishin is set on revenge though as it appears (for now) Mangus killed someone close to him, the girl Yaya is based on. Charlotte warned him...so it will end badly and as Raishin recovers we will learn more about this world right? From Charlotte as she tends to Raishin's wounds? I guess we will wait and see.....
