Kamisama Dolls episode 7: X__X Dear Lord

X___X

And I thought I was having a bad day.

No they don't. And most of them order pizza from my store.

In which I did. I could probably write an entire book about how work has been this week. Instead I shall focus on the horrible like that Aki is having. Spoilers for Kamisama Dolls episode 7. Or as I shall now call it Aki’s Life Sucks.

Kyouhei is super helpful in this episode I promise.

Episode Summary of shortness cause I am sleepy: Kyouhei tells Shiba about their dark past. The story starts off with Senou arriving in town. She arrives to see Aki being harassed by his stepbrother Atsushi and his friends because they were abusing a dog. Eventually she chases them off but makes Aki take care of the dog. Kyouhei falls in love instantly. Senou becomes the elementary school teacher but things turn dark fast. Atsushi tries to put the moves on Senou and she slaps him. A big no as he is the big head of the family now that Aki got his god doll taken away. Rumors start floating around about Senou and people start avoiding her. Kyouhei claims he wants to help but he and his dad do nothing. A small change is seen in Aki as he does take care of the dog. But he does confide in Senou this town sucks and she probably should leave. Atsushi again tries bringing on the rape but Aki and his dog attack Atsushi and all three run. Senou confides that the sleeping with a student’s dad issue was true and that is why she took a job here in Hell Village. She then sleeps with Aki because she is crazy. Aki says he needs to do something before he leaves the village. But before that can happen pictures revealing Senou and Aki’s…wild night of passion are revealed and she is forced to leave the school. Then Atsushi kills the dog and kidnaps/rapes Senou. When Aki arrives to save Senou she is killed protecting Aki. Atsushi freaks out and tries to kill Aki with the god doll. The god doll then sides with Aki who has an emotional breakdown and kills everyone in the room. Kyouhei arrives and assumes the worse. Aki is sent to jail and Shiba is like….ya’ll are crazy. THE END!

See what I mean folks?! Really bad day. At least I wasn’t blamed for murdering the outcast teacher in town. Things could be worse….

See Aki was crazy so we gave him a killing machine. Makes sense yes?

So let’s start off with the stuff NOT shown. Aki apparently had just had his Seki taken away since Atsushi really sucked at controlling it. Or maybe Atsushi always sucked. In any case Senou was told that Aki was a loose cannon. Well dear crazy town folks. If Aki had a history of killing animals and crap why did you give him a giant killing machine to begin with? Why did the Kuga family take in Aki if they already had a successor? Why cause the HUGE AND ANGRY “real son” disgrace by giving away his position in the village?

In conclusion the past that was not shown in this flashback is pretty horrible. It didn’t have to be shown. I think many people walked away from this episode feeling really bad for Aki. An outcast from the start, probably set up with the animal killings by Atsushi, and his only friend Kyouhei didn’t seem that supportive. So…yes. This is how you make a serial killer folks.

Photobucket

POOR DOGGIE! Sense the love....it won't last long.

And yes I do think Aki was a weird little freak. But seeing how far Atsushi would go because a lady wouldn’t let him rape her I do think he would go bonkers enough to kill animals and set Aki up. Aki clearly was enjoying being with the dog. Hell he SAVED the dog from Atsushi. If he ran around with his god doll slicing animals up why would he go up against his step brother and much bigger friends? Aki has every right to hate this creepy village.

What do you mean you slapped your would be rapist?!

Senou was a bit all over the place for me. Obviously her name being tarnished in the town was awful. She gets in trouble for slapping a would be rapist? Are we in a hick town in the South and Atsushi is one of the good old boys? Maybe the rest of the village lived in fear but I would think that MAYBE one of the other women would comfort or be friends with Senou on the side as she might have gone through the same harassment. Atsushi was a bully and Senou was not his first victim. But I guess no one could support Senou besides the innocent children of the forest.

Then Senou confirmed she did sleep with a former student’s father. When it was explained it didn’t sound TOO bad to me. She wasn’t stealing anyone’s man anyway. But maybe they should have put out the fire in their pants until the little kiddo was not around. Or wait until she was not his teacher anymore. But sometimes in the heat of the moment daddy gets hot for teacher. Maybe if the kid hadn’t been hit by the car she would have been in a better position job wise. But I see why the school did it and I see why Senou did it.

Photobucket

At least it wasn't with someone who had Shiba sized boobies.

But then she slept with Aki and my face was like @_@. Because teachers sleeping with students is never a good thing. If people go X__X when it is male teachers with female students the same must be done for the boys and female teachers.

And yet this is Japan. The age of consent is….shall we say on the LOW side. Several big name animes/mangas have had very stable marriages that start off with a big of cradle robbing. Where would be without our little Card Captor Sakura star? Clannad and the epic speeches from washed up singers? So……maybe….just maybe…it wasn’t the most horrible thing ever. Well her REASONING was. Crazy lady on that point. But…..Maybe I can pretend he was the most mature 16 year old ever? No? I can’t? Okay. It was creepy and home girl should have known better. If you are having issues don’t bring in a kid who already has issues into your web of mess. Maybe just a KISS and the runaway thing together. But get your act together lady.

I am not blaming Aki because he was the kid in the situation. Anyone would go AWESOME someone older wants to sleep with me so I must be awesome too. Or really in Aki’s case I can see him acting all bored. Actually sex with that Aki sounds pretty gross. Maybe a few more weeks with the dog and it might have been enjoyable. Someone was really desperate…

AND THEN THEY KILLED THE DOG! You know in I Am Legend? OH spoilers for I Am Legend. So Will Smith’s character lives alone in a huge city with zombies trying to kill him. All he has in the world is his daughter’s dog. Daughter and wife are dead. Things are grim. THEN THE DOG IS KILLED! My entire theater was like in tears going NOOOOOOO! That is how I felt when Nono died. Like you evil EVIL man. Sure everyone else ends up dead at the end of the episode but the dog? THE DOG?! Time to hug my pets a little tighter.

Did the god doll change sides or was it always supporting Aki?

I hope the show goes into greater detail about how Aki was able to control his god doll again. Does this mean he has more potential than the twins of fail? Probably. Or maybe god dolls know who should be their owner? Whatever the case may be it is obvious Aki didn’t mean to kill everyone. Or….he did and they all deserved it. XD

Photobucket

Clearly not in the right frame of mind.

Either way Aki was going to end up in jail. Whether he just sat there quietly or killed the rest of the family. So if he killed them on accident it is understandable. If he killed them on purpose it sounds like this village creates crazy people and maybe this Seki system should have been destroyed long ago. Giving god dolls to kids.

Photobucket

Can they both be blasted off to the moon?

Oh? Kyouhei in this episode. Well I can’t decide who sucks more, him or his father. Obviously his father is the worst person in this show. And that is probably why Kyouhei sucks so much. Kyouhei is a young confused man trying to protect his teacher and the father does NOTHING? Telling him to do it himself? Doesn’t a father want to protect their child? And then when things end badly and Kyouhei runs away from the pain the father fails to see how it was his fault.

Photobucket

Um only I am nice. Be in love with me instead.

Kyouhei……bleh. I guess he could only do so much. Aki wasn’t in school and had no god doll. Kyouhei did look uncomfortable with the -sama talk but I think he could have tried harder. Like when he said he was going to help Senou maybe he should have….helped. Obviously he didn’t go to the school or help squish the rumors. But merely helping Senou would have been enough. Instead Kyouhei was no better than all the others and let something awful happen. Aki was clearly out of his mind after the event and Kyouhei assumed the worse. I mean I would too….but even after learning the truth did Kyouhei try to help his friend out by talking about the rape and set up? No. He just skipped on out of town and pretended that Aki was a villain.

Photobucket

The power of friendship...cannot be found here.

All because he is jealous that Senou liked (I guess?) Aki more than him. In the end the whole tragedy was…tragic. The village created the situation by not helping an outsider that they brought into the folds. I am not saying that lonely little boys should grow up to murder a room full of people but it looked like it wasn’t all in his control and MAYBE we shouldn’t be raping and murdering innocent people and try to pin it on someone else.

I don't think anyone is....

So yes. Poor Aki indeed. Very sad episode. Sadder still is the fact that Senou looked like a normal human being. Kyouhei is clearly BLIND for comparing the two. Senou tried to be strong but was a vulnerable girl who tried to make it a tough world. Shiba is a big breasted freak who acts offended all the time and is sticking her nose in things all the time. Clearly the resemblance is obvious.
OBVIOUS!

Kyouhei is so slow....

Yeah, some crazy shit going on in that episode. I didn't understand the lady's reason for . . . what she did to Aki. I'm definitely on Aki's side. He was still just a kid and a loner at that. What good would it do either of them for her to sleep with Aki?

I don't approve of it when male teachers do it to their female students and even their male students so I would support a female teacher doing that. Stuff happens in the states, that I've heard of, and it is just unprofessional and it disrupts the relationship one has with a professor. At least wait until college to do some shit like that.

According to Aki she may have had a thing for the student. And with the way the kid reacted, I feel like he may have been betrayed by the teacher sleeping with his father. So maybe she was actually boning both of them. And if that's the case then that woman is messed the fuck up. No wonder she got hired in this crazy town; crazy recognizes crazy. But seriously, outside of the Senou assaulting and kidnapping/raping her, I really have no sympathy for her and feel she is despicable for what she did to Aki and possibly former student.

If she wanted someone to lean on Kyouhei would have been the guy to see. Not for sexy times but just for support. I think that Kyouhei was trying to help her from what I saw, but it seemed like with the system in their town efforts were futile. I mean, he did actually approach and tell her to let him know if she was in need of help. So she had a savior if she needed someone.

Poor Aki.

And I feel like no one can properly handle Seki unless on the brink of insanity. So maybe there is method to this madness.

Marona- Yeah it kinda feels weird talking about someone who did get rapped and killed violently. But the stuff she did before that was...questionable. Very questionable. She was teaching her students it was okay for her to be treated like that as she didn't take a stand against that behavior. Instead of being a strong adult she sought support from the same children trapped in the system. And instead of relaying on the kid who DID have some power in town she decide to cling to the kid who was the outcast and make his life harder.

So at the very least she was an adult making very poor decisions. And at the very most she was a crazy person with loose morals who isn't fit to teach young people. Still raping and killing an outsider is not something one should do and her story is tragic. Let this be a lesson to all you school teachers out there. If a small village/town is desperate enough for teachers that is not the place you should go to seek employment.

I thought this flashback was going to show more of what happened at the first scene of the anime. The forest on fire, Kyouhei saving Utao and Aki. So there is something ELSE that happened to Aki that was terrible?

I think after knowing all this truth Kyouhei should not be judging Aki so harshly. Yeah he shouldn't have killed that guy in the elevator but the village truly created a monster with him. I usually say people are responsible for their own actions but in this (and a few other cases) Aki was truly created to be insane and a monster.

Aki said it, he's not crazy, the villagers are crazy ones. Oh, that's really correct~
And yeah, he did a great favor by slaying those rapists. They are the worst kind of humans. >_<

Eternia- What I don't get is Kyouhei! If he knows what really happened why is he still judging him so harshly? Why didn't he try to break him out of jail or clear his name? Oh that's right because he is a suck ass friend who ran away from all his problems.

But since he was raised by a man with no spine and emotions I guess that is to be expected.

Maybe those god dolls aren't weapons for humans to use but really some sort of punishment sent by aliens. With the special talking trees and all....
