Tenchi's Trip to Busch Gardens

Hello there my lovely readers! It has been almost a week since I blogged or watched any anime. So without further adieu...more trip pictures yay!!!!
Photobucket
We are coming to have fun, wait for us!!
I had plans to blog at least one anime episode BUUUUUUUUUT Facebook and its lovely mega pic loader turned into a hot mess. It took me a while to post all my vacation pics to Facebook and then I got side tracked with my Disney pins (pics to come promise...or a threat?) that yeah. It became too late to watch any anime. Tomorrow though! Even though the husband and I have more days off thanks to Memorial Day...we is slightly broke so I think we are staying home and chillin. Making lego buildings and catching up on anime. But for now it is Busch Gardens post time weeee! Enjoy!
Photobucket
X__x Well I think this is the wrong picture. Meant to post one with some characters walking around. But for the sake of being lazy...WOOHOO! We are almost inside the park. Just have to turn in our lovely Military Free Vouchers and we are good to go. While this might be me being greedy I appreciate that some Florida parks reward military members with free tickets while other LARGER theme parks...give them a discount that is more than Florida resident tickets. I see. I SEE! Time for free and fun though.
Photobucket
I am not sure if I have mentioned it before but I absolutely adore giraffes. After we entered the park we picked one thing that we HAD to do if time became an issue and things had to be cut. I said seeing the giraffes. You know the things I could see at my local zoo. Because I love them that much.
Photobucket
With that said...there was NO ONE at the park today. Okay there were more people here than at Legoland but the longest line of the day was for the train. Or I should say wait because the train hadn't arrived yet. Every single ride was walk on or just waiting for next available vehicle. I hope no one bought fast passes (or whatever they are called at Busch Gardens). Just a lovely day with no rain, no strollers, no sea of crying kids, and no long lines. XD Who could ask for more?
Photobucket
I am 90 percent sure these were a type of wallabies. Obviously not kangaroos so they have to be wallabies right?
Photobucket
A baby and its momma. Generally the wallabies didn't want to have anything to do with people who didn't pay for food. They come over to you, make a face when they realize you are empty handed, and bounce to the next victim. Something that I thought was cool (and expensive) is there a cast member in the pen now taking pictures of people feeding the animals. Available for a....not so reasonable fee but they looked professional. And the frames were cute.
Photobucket
There was a little animal show going on near the wallabies. Well I say little but there were a TON of animals in this show. Not just a handful but a lot of cats, dogs, and some exotic ones. Wonder where they are housed during nonshow hours, there were a lot. In any event the show was cute and we got there 5 seconds before it started and we got seats in the middle. Yay for Busch Gardens before the summer.
Photobucket
WTF is this?! We were walking by and suddenly the flamingos were beating each other up. And when two started fighting it began a chain. Little fights broke out everywhere over what seemed to be the best place to stand in the mud. MEAN ANIMALS!
Photobucket
Moving on to nice animals who are not related to caterpillars. Butterflies. Nice photo place yes?
Photobucket
The last time the husband and I went to Busch Gardens we had just graduated from high school. XD So 11 years ago. That is a long time yes? At least I think it was 11 years ago....Pretty sure. In any event a lot of the park was still exactly the same. This section was new to us. Sesame Street. Or as the husband said Hell. It was a cute little area for small kids. Just... I don't know it seemed very bright compared to the rest of the park. Oh and there was no EXIT to this section. X__X
Photobucket
Went into the bird exhibit where you can feed them and not get pooped on. The little feeder containers were 5 dollars a pop though so no one was giving up their extras like they do at the zoo sometimes. So we walked around and took pictures. This random bird was in the cage acting like he owned the place. He is king!
Photobucket
Anteaters are cute. They are way bigger than their stuffed animal form though. Way bigger. Cute but huge. They need to eat caterpillars though.
Photobucket
I don't remember this ride being here last time either. I don't like roller coasters but the husband does. XD Makes me happy when the husband has fun. He probably likes more rides here than in all of Disney combined. So maybe we should go to Busch Gardens more often? Wish it was closer.
Photobucket
Time for a ride we both could enjoy. Bring on the train and cute animals.
Photobucket
Wanna come live with me little guy? I have a crazy cat you can be friends with.
Photobucket
Well FINE! I didn't want to take your picture anyway lazy.
Photobucket
There were a LOT of zebras. X__X I haven't seen so many at once. Super cute...but bring more giraffe friends.
Photobucket
There they are! Do I spy a little baby? XO SO CUTE! Wants it! It can play with Kira too.
Photobucket
Now they are sitting down chillin. It must be hard work to eat food and have your pictures taken all day. :( So sad.
Photobucket
I see you trying to hide from me little giraffe. I really liked this picture. The husband has such great timing. Thanks for the great picture.
Photobucket
What a hard little worker, guarding the rest of the pack...from nothing. But still so cute. Hope someone brings him snacks.
Photobucket
Time for the husband to ride another roller coaster. Usually I have to wait a bit and take tons of pictures while he is on roller coasters. But today I only had time to snap a few as the lines were basically nonexistent. Snap and go!
Photobucket
Still had a little time to bond with my newest nendoroid. XD
Photobucket
Can you see the giraffes? No they are not aliens even though they look special.
Photobucket
So much time and effort being spent on burying ONE person. If they thought they were going to an afterlife with that body and items why trap someone in so much crap?
Photobucket
Can you spot my husband on the new roller coaster The Cheetah? I love how it extends the length of most of the park. Really neat in my opinion. I wonder how construction went during that time. Did the park look like crap for months? XD
Photobucket
All of these cheetahs were chillin til we walked by. Then suddenly that one got all Kirafied. Like what is that I hear and how can I attack it?!
Photobucket
I have a radar for giraffes and Hello Kitty. Like MOG we must walk over here, I sense there will be something I like.
Photobucket
I can barely walk in a straight line. That person is wearing a constrictive costume with limited vision bouncing around on...something. Major props. XD
Photobucket
WEEE! My favorite ride in the park. We were doing so well staying dry...until the waterfall at the end. It hit me directly and it was game over for my shoes. MY POOR SHOES!!! XD But it was fun.
Photobucket
Silly tiger. Plants are for rabbits.
Photobucket
Which tiger do I like the best....classic or white? Yes classic is a color now.
Photobucket
Splash zone? How the heck were the monkeys going to splash us from way up here?!
Photobucket
This little area is nice for kids too but needs a little love and attention. Paint jobs go a long ways. We were running out of time as Busch Gardens was closing at 6 today. X__X When did that start happening?
Photobucket
Caught this little guy mid water throwing. XD Doesn't his face look so silly. Almost like he is laughing at me. Like haha crazy sunburnt lady.
Photobucket
This little guy needs a jacket! He doesn't have any fur. So cold. :(
Photobucket
More flamingos. But this time they weren't trying to beat the crap out of each other so they are okay in my book. Busch Gardens has so many birds in it. Must be way easier to get and maintain than other animals. Like um we need more animals in the park...go get a few more birds from the store. XD
Photobucket
This little guy was cute. But due to the fact I adopted so many other huge animals I don't have room for a reasonable sized pet that Kira might actually like. So goodbye little fox.
Photobucket
With only about 20 minutes left in the park it was time to spend some money! XD The husband went off to get one last refill on our icee cup while I went to find things with giraffes plastered on them.
Photobucket
Last pic of the day. After a long day in the park we find out that our hotel that night has a pool inside! XD I has never swam inside before so this was a weird experience for us. Nice way to cool down and rest. XD So that was our day at Busch Gardens. A nice time with just the two of us and basically no one else in the park. Yay for fun!
