Uragiri wa Boku no Namae wo Shitte Iru Episode 22

So yeah…that cleaning never really got done. I mean the dishes have made it into the dish washer and some of the stuff in the living room has gone to its proper place. But I was a slacker today XO SO I guess that means there will be cleaning tomorrow? BOO!!

I am sensing the end of the good times...

But for now we have all the lovelies over in Uragiri wa Boku no Namae wo Shitte Iru land. Which can make any day a happy day right? Well at least for the yaoi fan anyway.

Spoilers for Yuki not listening to anyone and Luka suffering being the third wheel.

Remember the times when I wasn't trying to kill all your friends? Aw memories.

Episode Summary: Cadenza is still giving Reiga the evil eye when Reiga wants to retreat. Reiga manages to talk some sense into him and they both start to leave. Yuki’s little heart is broken when Reiga demands that Yuki stop calling him Kanata. Yuki passes out from all the drama and everyone in the entire world screams Yuki’s name. Yuki is rushed to the house where all the Guardians wait to see what is going to happen next. Hotsuma does a great job putting his foot in his mouth and Shuusei does a great job making sure no one kicks his ass. But the general consensus is that they need to stop getting their asses kicked so Yuki won’t die. Tachibana manages to convince Luka to come inside the house so he can hear the positive news that if Yuki uses his power again he will die. The random people whom no one cares about have a few lines but as I said no one cares.

What do you mean Yuki is always in constant danger!?

The mood then turns to Takashiro and his random dying. He doesn’t want everyone worrying about him so his butler stays by his side. Takashiro is randomly doing something to help end the battle but apparently he is going to die soon. There is a random scene with girl Yuki and Luka having a moment but then our Yuki wakes up and Luka is happy to see him. Until Yuki starts going on and on about Kanata. Reiga is off in his lair thinking about his past with Yuki and how if all humans could be like Yuki he wouldn’t be all evil. Reiga really should be worrying about his henchmen though. Cadenza has gathered Mr. Twin and that other General Lady and tells them that Reiga might not follow through on their plans for world domination. So they need to decide if they are going to go rouge or follow him.

Sure Reiga. You were going to kill Yuki this time. RIIIIIGHT.

Everyone goes to visit Yuki and they try to put on happy faces. But there is still a vibe in the room as they talk about the future that might not happen. Speaking of the devil the building is attack. All the Guardians run outside to fight the baddies leaving Luka to protect Yuki. The rest of the house people are worried but have to depend on these young people. The General chick fights Tsukumo and Toko, Cadenza fights Kuroto and Senshirou, and the Twin breaks into his other twin and fights Hotsuma and Shuusei. When things start going south Luka goes outside to help. Yuki waits a whole 3 minutes before he disobeys everyone’s orders and crawls outside. He starts to power up and Luka orders Kuroto and Senshirou to stop Yuki. Only Reiga comes and kidnaps Yuki before he can blow up. Reiga, Yuki, and all the baddies disappear through Reiga’s magical door and Luka is super pissed. Like super awesome pissed and THE END!

Well then people. The end is super near and that makes me sad. But we must be strong and talk about all the feelings and the angst and the Luka torture. Because if we don’t we will still be talking in last week’s post.

Wait someone DOESN'T love Yuki? Assholes!

If I were Cadenza I might not have run away. He was doing okay when it was only a few Guardians but with them all there and Luka I might have left to fight another day. I wouldn’t have listened to Reiga because apparently he is not a good leader.

My ears almost fell off when everyone screamed Yuki at once. It was cute in a way but way annoying to hear it. Especially because I was wearing earphones this week. We get it people. Everyone loves Yuki. Even Senshirou despite the fact he met him for the first time 3 days ago. LOVE FOR YUKI!

Look how sexy we are all beat up.

Even though Hotsuma and Shuusei have not been getting the proper amount of attention lately I still love them. Hotsuma is all like psht Kuroto eyebrows dude is OUR enemy now so you better just deal with it. Then Shuusei saves Hotsuma from being smacked in the head by Kuroto. Shuusei is so cute when he explains what Hotsuma really means to say. That shows that they are a real couple.

But worrying about Yuki is our main job!

Not to downgrade Yuki’s importance…but why is everyone worried about Yuki pain and suffering? I mean this battle has been going on for a long time so maybe over time Yuki has been healing the Guardians a lot. But in this time frame Yuki has not healed that many people so I am not sure why everyone is feeling all guilty and crap. Also maybe if Yuki healed the minor hurts they could battle better. You know instead of going into battle still hurt from the last one and getting plastered all over the sidewalk. But everyone loves Yuki so anything concerning him must be doom and gloom and we have to protect him!

I am sure Luka loves hearing this. So super sure.

Luka finally entered the building! Of course he only entered the building to have Yuki wake up and go on and on about Kanata/Reiga but that is not the point. The point is he was done being stubborn. So…I guess Luka was keeping himself out of the mansion the entire time? Men. Men I say.

DO NOT WANT!!!!!!

Oh and the girl Yuki scenes always freak me out. Maybe because I am a yaoi fangirl and it feels weird watching one of the boys being a girl. I mean I guess it should make it more romantic that Luka loves Yuki no matter what, that he only cares about the soul and not outward appearances. Still I can’t help but feel pissed that Yuki is coming in between Yuki’s relationship with Luka. I am a crazed yaoi fangirl so there is probably not correcting my thinking now.

Wait Yuki is way more important than Takashiro!

I don’t even know what is wrong with Takashiro. He has been fine for the last 1000 years but now he is falling apart. Talk about great timing. But I guess being alive that long would have consequences and sooner or later he was going to kick the bucket. It is just so dramatic. Let the doctor heal you. How are you going to kick Reiga’s ass if you are dying on the couch? Also you know if you get injuried in battle Yuki might try to heal you. So…yeah take care of yourself.

Aw the minions are all turning on Reiga so sad. :(

So while Yuki is talking to Luka about Kanata (whom which I might add was incredible cool about the situation) the baddies are outside having a little meeting. Cadenza is telling the other General Lady and the twinless twin that Reiga is a bit of a loose cannon. He might not be bating for team Duras. The Twinless Twin has drank a bit of the whacky blood and is gunho about killing everyone. Cadenza is all like AHA now I get to have my revenge on Kuroto even though Kuroto never did anything to him. And that lady probably thinks once everyone is dead she can score with Luka. But at least the bad guys are being bad guys so that is nice. I think.

And then Yuki seals his fate.

I got a super bad feeling when everyone went to see Yuki after he woke up. It felt like a wow this is the last time we are all going to be in the same room together moment. Creepy and sad. :( And Senshirou was sorta just there. I guess it must be hard for him since he is a newbie and hasn’t been reincarnated yet. But yeah instead of feeling happy about everyone loving Yuki it was sad. :(

Who are you again?

But if we are hoping for a season two we shouldn’t be TOO sad right? Besides we got a few random useless people hanging around that can be used as sacrifices right? That necromancer in training looks expendable.

So after that brief we all love each other moment the baddies have decided that listening to Reiga wasn’t working for them so they attacked. Now they aren’t allowed to enter the compound so I guess they were flinging energy balls and rocks at the house or something. And instead of sending their A-team out from the start (IE Luka) everyone is like Luka stay here and guard Luka. Um how about we send out Luka, the dude who didn’t get his ass kicked last episode and let the two tired Guardians (Kuroto and Senshirou) be back up? No, that isn’t working for you? FINE THEN!

I am not sure why the Guardians lasted as long as they did in that battle. Well Hotsuma and Shuusei really should have had an easier time with the Twin who is now a Twin twins but maybe since they had some nom nom blood they are all super powered too. But Cadenza and that chick whose name escaped me should have been kicking way more ass. Cadenza was throwing around Senshirou and Kuroto around like it was nothing last time so Toko and Tsukumo should have been in the same boat. Before Luka got there they should have been able to kill one of the Guardians.

Bad Yuki BAD! Go back in the house NOW!

Dear Yuki!!!! Please be listening to all the people who talk to you. Your ass was unconscious 5 minutes ago. I know you didn’t hear the doctor’s warning about dying the next time you power up. But given the fact that you could barely walk outside should have been a hint that you shouldn’t be pushing yourself that hard. So now you were going to be a huge target or a dead God’s Light had Reiga not kidnapped your ass. I know you want to protect everyone but if everyone is trying to protect you putting them in danger is counterproductive.

DAMN YOU GROUND!

Ah Reiga. Fighting off the memories of loving Yuki. He done kidnaps Yuki under the guise of being evil but really he didn’t want Yuki to explode. Not that he will have time to explain this as Luka will rip his ass into 19 million pieces next week but the thought was nice. It is almost time for the end people! XO Things are not looking good for our love triangle people. :(
