Togainu no Chi Episode 4

Oh finally people. I get off the plane from my trip and work 4 day straights all while trying to breath and stay alive. But now I get two days off XO Do you see my excited face? I drove home from work practically singing. And eating my McDonalds. I am a very safe driver.

XO I think we all know that but thanks Rin.

But before I celebrate my WOOHOO two days off party (which includes Universal Studios WOOHOO) it is time for Togainu no Chi. Well I started blogging this earlier in the day but I have the lazies. That and I might have been replaying certain scenes over and over again…not sure which ones.

SPOILERS FOR SEXY! You have been warned. Oh and the future has gross food.

SO MANY PRETTY COLORS!!!!

Episode Summary: Rin is dodging the crazy killers looking for Akira. Akira is okay though. Rin eventually finds him after running 15 miles. Akira is less than impressed when he learns that Keisuke is also looking for him and Rin told him to meet up at a neutral hotel. Because Keisuke isn’t really….you know. Amazing. While Rin takes him on a romantic walk through the city they pass some not so nice people. I have a feeling that we are not going to see many nice people in Kill Or Be Killed City. But one of these people knows Rin from HIS Blaster days, like they were partners or something. Random dude wants to start problems but recognizes Akira and lets them pass. Rin is a little touched that Akira doesn’t question him about his past but Rin gives a little information anyway. Rin partipated in team Blasters and obviously he left them to come here. Bad blood me thinks. They get to the hotel and Keisuke is not there but Motomi is. He reports that Keisuke went out to look for Akira again. He finally returns and one can tell Keisuke wants to hug Akira and give him a kiss. But we will settle for a silly smile instead. Rin trades in some of his junk tags for food and take the group up to the roof on the very safe stair case.

I don't think anyone cares about you...

The view of the busted down city is amazing. The group eats nasty looking food and have a good time. Motomi leaves to go do some secret stuff. Meanwhile Shiki is off killing people for no reason because we haven’t seen him in forever. Keisuke decides to take a nap which is a bad idea. Rin decides to get an inch from Akira’s face and just stare at him. This leads to HIGHLY ENJOYABLE SCENES of Rin and Akira nearly kissing and just looking at each other. Then Rin makes a joke so Akira will get flustered and they end up rolling on the roof ON TOP OF EACH OTHER. But then someone announces there has been a Shiki sighting and Rin is like RARW! He jumps off the roof like a crazy person and Akira goes after him leaving Keisuke all alone. Everyone is running from danger so that is the direction Akira goes towards. He runs into a dying person and OH HI there is Shiki in his stripper boots. Shiki calls Akira trash and it is time to fight. Shiki kicks Akira’s ass but Akira really, really tries. Shiki chokes Akira out but Akira is like AND WHAT KILL ME?! Akira manages to get free and attempts to protect himself. Shiki is like oh you fighting back is kinda sexy so I won’t kill you this time. He leaves and Akira is like….so yeah this sucks. Yay stripper boots!!! THE END!

SO MUCH SEXUAL TENSION XO

While I don’t hate Keisuke (like a lot of other people do and have good reason to) he is starting to get more and more useless. Or maybe he is staying the same level of uselessness and it’s just adding up. However I am impressed that Keisuke ran around the whole city and didn’t get his tags restolen. Or get his ass beaten to a bloody pulp. So I guess that is something.

But yeah. If I was Akira and I learned that Keisuke went around the city looking for me…I would worry too. And be pissed that Rin let him go off alone. Not that I think Akira expects loyalty or anything from Rin but I think he would be pissed. Like hello I am awesome Akira and if I am in danger how do you think you can save me? Just I would be frustrated. I wonder if that is how Akira has felt all his life around Keisuke.

DENIED!!!

However maybe that is how their relationship works. Akira is the bad ass and Keisuke is the worrying, mother type. They both don’t have to be the strong fighter types. So yeah maybe Akira is always bailing Keisuke out of danger. But maybe Keisuke is more of a provider and support system. Since I can see Akira not taking very good care of himself. So in conclusion…yes Keisuke is a useless fighter and will probably hold Akira back. But in any other situation I can see Keisuke being the useful friend.

Not that any of this matters as everyone is like WOOHOO Shiki is hot and sexy and I want him to end up with Akira. XD

I like how there are safe zones in the land of let’s kill everyone. Very random indeed. In a game that involves beating the crap out of people and using drugs it is weird to see a designated safe place. So many rules in a killing game. XD

Um bye? No one cares.

Motomi being at the hotel and then randomly leaving was….well random. Is he always going to be coming and going like that? He doesn’t seem to be adding much to the plot. He is just there….He doesn’t even seem that mysterious to me. Just bleh.

I like that Rin is taking care of Keisuke and Akira. Even if he is only doing it because he thinks Akira is hot. But I wonder how newbies do in Toshima. They get the basic rules and are threatened with their lives…then set on their way. I am in love with …. this post aren’t I? But yeah I am not sure how newbies that don’t have a magic guide like Rin survive. I am surprised more of them aren’t jumped the second they leave the castle. How the heck are they supposed to know where to get food or where this safe house is? Poor newbies.

Of course…someone who joined Igra (who isn’t named Akira or Keisuke) probably isn’t that innocent. So why am I feeling bad for them?

And the fangirls go wild!!!!

Okay. Yes. That moment on the roof. Oh snap folks. When I was watching the episode I knew this moment was coming (thanks my readers XD) but I still wasn’t ready for it. I had to pause the video because oh snap XD

This almost makes me forget all the game cut scenes were deleted from youtube.

But yes folks. The yaoi girl in me (isn’t really IN me?) was pleased. More pleased with that one scene than the entire Uragiri wa Boku no Namae wo Shitte Iru series. Well Shuusei and Hotsuma had some good moments. But Rin and Akira were hotter in that one moment than Yuki and Luka were the entire series. Which is probably sad.

I guess the hottest part of the entire thing was Akira wasn’t sure what to do BUT HE DIDN’T MOVE! Who knows what Rin is thinking as he might have been serious but Akira certainly knew how he felt right? Unless he was confused too. Which makes it hotter people. I don’t know why but it does.

With all this freaking out there is even more touching!!! XD

And then when things got too serious Rin made a joke to break the tension. Maybe Rin actually wanted to do something but didn’t want to ruin his new friendship with Akira. I can see where that might be a turn off. But he gave Akira a chance to get mad and then further “play” around without the tension of before. So it was a win win for Rin. Rin is so smart. XD

You might want to wake up and stop this.....or watch. XD

Please note this is all going around while Keisuke is sleeping. Keisuke. You need to stay on your game because people are in the wing waiting to steal your man. Please be more aware of your surroundings. Also maybe next time it won’t be a make out scene you are sleeping through but a fight. And congratulations you just woke up dead.

I think Shiki has a lot of bad days....

But the fun times were interrupted because Shiki is off killing people. Why is Shiki killing people again? Are there really that many rule breakers in the LAND OF COLORS? People have colorful SOULS! But yeah why is Shiki killing people at random? Wouldn’t that ruin the game? Does it keep anyone in line? I don’t know. He just comes across looking like a psychopath.

But poor Rin. He didn’t get to see Shiki and it interrupted his fun time with Akira. Lets mourn for Rin’s bad luck. But on the upside we did find out that Rin is part monkey.

But Akira found him! Because Akira is magical. He didn’t leave after Rin or anything or barely walk anywhere. Akira is simply magical!

Time for a semi sexy battle!

I didn’t find Shiki and Akira’s scene as sexy as Rin and Akira’s. Which is to be expected as Shiki was trying to gut Akira. That could damper the mood slightly. Of course I don’t think Shiki was trying THAT hard to kill Akira but still. Dude I just figured it out. Shiki needs to talk to Fuuma. Fuuma from X/1999 knows how to fight with the love interest but bring the sexy factor! Yes yes I see it now. Beat Akira’s ass a little and then….you know neck kisses. XD

This could be so much sexier! Try harder next time Shiki!

Akira did pretty well against Shiki though. I thought he was going to do better since he was in Blaster he would do a little better. But he didn’t back down. He looked Shiki dead in the eye while he was getting choked out. He wasn’t in any position to fight back against Shiki but he pulled his little knife out like he was going to try. And I liked that he tried. Go Akira. You get lots of points for trying. You are only alive because Shiki thinks you are pretty but that’s okay. WOOHOO you are alive.
