Amnesia episode 3

I am watching one of the worse horror movies ever. Maybe because there is barely any horror. It is mostly just teens getting drunk and having sex. I know most horror movies has elements of that but 50 of the 90 minutes have been devoted to PARTYING. It is boring. Start slashing before you run out of time.

This is just insanity. Fashion insanity.
So what anime is up now? Amnesia episode 3. No slashing there. Just spoilers for being confused always I suppose.

Most disturbing part of the episode.
Episode Summary: Shujinko looks confused as Shin kisses her and talks about getting out of the hospital. She also wonders where Orion is. Shin begins to wonder why Shujinko isn't screamin at her and why he has to remind her to do certain things. Shujinko is wondering why things seem different than her 3 days worth of memories. Shin walks her home and Shujinko forgets even more thinks causing the two different shoe Shin to want to stay and worry about Shujinko. Shin doesn't want to talk about the accident and Shujinko thinks she knows about the accident anyway so she doesn't push it. He leaves her for the night and Shujinko sits there basically being confused. When Shin comes by the next day he tricks her into saying they have been going out for a year instead of the three months they actually have been together. Shujinko finally confesses she has no real memories and the one she has are all confused. Shin agrees to not take her to the hospital and instead takes her around town to see if he can job her memories. They go to the high school/college campus where they both attend and then to the music section of the college. Shin explains that Shujinko is in a band and while she started off kinda special she has gotten better. Shin tries kissing Shujinko and she is not feeling that at all. He apologizes and takes her to Toma. He explains what is going on to Toma so Toma can help Shujinko out at work without other people knowing what is going on. Toma seems to think that Shin should be doing more to help but agrees to watch over Shujinko at work.

I think everyone needs to have a greater level of concern....
The next day Shin gets all blushy as he drops Shujinko off at work and makes sure she gots the maid cafe lingo down. When Shujinko goes inside the owner/manager Waka is acting straight Black Butler on her and Shujinko finds it weird. While they change the girls Mine and Sawa talk about how excited they are that Shujinko is back and how scary her accident was. Shujinko tries to explain what she thinks the accident was about but Mine and Sawa say some details are wrong. That no one was going to see a meteor shower and she and Shin had gone off alone. But when the search party took place it was Toma acting all crazy trying to find Shujinko and Shin was strangely calm. Shujinko processes this information as she walks home. As she waits at the train tracks she runs into the crazy guy wearing green. He is like OH is this our first meeting now and talks about her accident, with Shujinko unable to hear most of the conversation due to the train. Shin runs up upset because Shujinko didn't wait for her after work and the crazy guy leaves. They end up sitting in a park watching some guy juggle. Shujinko asks about the accident and Shin clams up. He says it is his fault and he can't talk about it yet but can she please forgive him? Suddenly Shujinko starts to hear Orion's voice despite not being able to see him. THE END!

Lets just assume Shujinko has forgotten everything and will continue to forget everything until the last episode.
I think....I think I know what is going on. But I will probably have to watch a one more episode to see if I am right. If I am wrong though I am utterly confused and have no idea what is going on. Which wouldn't surprise me since I am always confused but it would be nice to be right. Or to find out that other people are confused too.
Photobucket
I think that everyone is spaced out at this point. Or confused.
What I think is going on is a time loop from the time period of August 1st to August 5th. That might be a little confusing as the work trip seems to happen at the end of the timeline in Shujinko's mind but is the reason why she has the accident that lands her in the hospital on August 1st. Unless there is no timeloop and Shujinko will just be destined to have an accident on August 5th which will start up another alternative universe. HMMM that might make more sense. What I might have confused myself.
Photobucket
Oh lord dreams and timelines and such.
In any event it is safe to say that there is something special going on and it's not just the fact that Orion exists. There is something that caused the first timeline to get messed up. Shujinko got hurt or something traumatized her and started the whole forgetting thing to happen. But each time she wakes up reality is slightly different, as this is based on a harem game and we have to get everyone's routes in. Once all the guys get a turn at being the boyfriend Orion will probably help Shujinko get back to her true reality or wake up from the longest dream/Inception nightmare ever. I think I am getting more confused as I try to explain my reasoning.
Photobucket
Speak up, no one can hear you.
I do say that I like Shujinko having a throat injury. It makes her soft spoken voice make a little more sense and not seem so...well annoying. Her name still hasn't been said and I doubt it will at this point. Or maybe when she wakes up for real someone will be whispering it so that is what finally snaps her out of it. But for now she is a nameless and almost voiceless part time maid, part time college student, and member of a band.
Photobucket
Not very respectful of someone older than him is he?
Yeah a band folks! At least I guessed right when I said she was in college although I expected Shin to be in college too. But Shujinko doesn't strike me as being in band type. Maybe it it more like K-On! XD But since Shujinko has no memories of any of her lives at this point I guess it is silly to assume who Shujinko is or what she is like. So be in a band Shujinko. Be in a band.
Photobucket
Really, really angry band mates?
I am going to assume the angry girls are actually Shujinko's band mates and that by her forgetting everything she blew a big performance she was going to put on. So instead of a fight with girls about boys it might be about business or looking like a fool. Which would make me happy. And explain why all the ladies looked the same. The lady who walked by during the incident is probably someone not affected by the loops or is the person causing the loops.
Photobucket
I would be a little more shocked than this but okay.
Shin was kinda weird about the news that Shujinko lost her memories. But since he might be the one who caused the accident (and he thinks the memory loss) he might be feeling guilty. I am not sure about what as we can't be sure now he is the one who confessed to killing a person now. Shujinko probably has her people mixed up. She might have accused him of that and she flew off the cliff but he is looking rather guilty. And calm. Other people started he looked calm when he found Shujinko at the bottom of the cliff so who knows what is up with all of that.
Photobucket
Because you were so observant in the last timeline.....
But at least in this timeline Shin notices that Shujinko has no idea what is going on. Thank goodness someone is observant about that. And Shujinko told someone the truth on what is going on with her. Not the complete truth mind you. She is still keeping some things inside as she is unsure who to trust. That must be hard for Shujinko but it leaves the viewer screaming TELL SOMEONE! She can't navigate her forgotten alone but then again...everyone looks like a suspect.
Photobucket
We seem to be missing some people......
So it seems not only are we having several timelines going on for Shujinko but she has gotten memories mixed up from the timelines as the events are not always the same. She might have gone to a festival but not with Kent. Shin might not be a killer. And according to the girls the work trip did not involve all the people she thinks it is involves and there was no meteor shower. So this girl has to deal with no memories on top of wrong memories. No wonder I am confused.
Photobucket
This time? How many times are there?!
Speaking of confusing...the creepy guy in green. What is up with him? He appears all over the place and never really says anything that makes sense. But he seems to be aware that there are multiple timelines/universes going on. Like oh this must be our first meeting...now. I love how we didn't get to hear what he was saying, which was probably information about how she is repeating events and how people change slightly each time. Creepy guy is creepy.
Photobucket
Maybe I missed the part where Shin is the one who fell off the cliff?
The episode sorta ends with Shin acting really odd. Now if my girlfriend fell off a cliff and it was my fault I wouldn't really make it all about me. Maybe Shin thought he had a get out of jail free card and was never going to tell her what happened but yeah....stop making it about you. Clearly this girl is confused. Confess and get it off your chest. And where is Orion? Maybe with each reset it gets harder and harder for Shujinko to see Orion? Who knows? Slightly confused now.

Hello @Christina

Just finished watching this episode.

I would agree with the multiple timelines theory. The princess seems to be having memories of all these timelines but they aren't connected to each other. The big questions: Who has the power that's responsible for these timelines? Orion? I doubt it because he doesn't seem to be that powerful. Why choose the princess for these experiences? Is she a magical being or a goddess? Why does she amnesia? Who was the blonde woman? What's her connection to the princess? What's the true reality?

So the princess does go to college with part time job at the maid cafe. I guess that's to be expected of this reverse harem show. I'm speculating that her parents are funding her apartment rent and college tuition with the maid job paying for everything else. Still feels weird that a college and high school would mix. I know Japan has a space issue but couldn't they separate the campuses and class as well? Maybe I should be glad that the setting for this reverse harem is a maid's cafe and not the stereotypical high school like in almost all shows.

The mean girls may be apart of princess' band. But I don't recall Shin mentioning anything about them when he's explaining the band to her. He would have called them and they would explain the story to her, but I doubt the mean girls would be truthful. They could be anything.

I think the green guy is aware of the multiple timelines. He obviously knows more than anyone. I don't know where the multiple personality disorder fits into this story but we'll find out soon.

Orion seems to be the princess' greatest ally right now. She knows he's helpful because they are both connected on a spiritual level. When Orion was feeling tension in his heart during the meeting with the green guy, the princess felt it too. So if there were any form of deceptions from Orion, the princess would have felt it as well.

Well, that's all on princess.

So far this is what I have
Hints:
1)The princess and Shin went to the same high school, she already graduated and he is in his last year. -> Shin may be 1-2 year younger than the princess.

2) The princess is in a band club of a collage, she is working part-time at Maido Shitsuji (did I spell it right?) for both timeline so far.

3)She is older than Sawa and Mine, because they keep calling her “senpai” But this could also have different meaning, like the princess worked in the café longer than both Sawa and Mine, OR, both Sawa and Mine is a year younger in the collage than princess, which could make her 2nd year in college. This does NOT contradict w/ my 1) because Shin never said anything about “he is a year younger than her”.

4)Sawa and Mine are in the same age/year in college/high school.

5)Ukyo (the green-hair dud who have 2 different personalities) seems (so far) in all the timeline the princess is in. A key factor may be?

6) The princess, Shin and Toma are childhood friends and brothers/sisters (?) so far in both timeline. In the 2nd timeline, Toma is older than both Shin and the princess. In other words, according from older to younger: Toma > princess > Shin.

7)Orion seems to share feeling w/ the princess.

Well, that’s for now, have fun guessing! ^_^

Anonymous- It does seem to be a giant mess right both with what is going on with what the viewers see and what the heroine is experiencing. As long as things start to make sense soon I am okay with this initial confusing. But if we add on more layers of timelines without answers then....it might be hard to watch.

If the timeline is only 5 days I guess it could explain why heroine's parents don't call and check up on her. That really isn't a long time when one is off in college and working.

Maybe Shin didn't say anything about the band girls because he doesn't know they have been harassing her thus he didn't think it was that important. Gotta introduce the other important people to her first in his mind.

Anonymous 2- I hope some of these basis facts remain the same in each timeline or else things WILL get super confusing over time. Keep the general relationships the same and people just change a bit based on who she is dating in said timeline.

Greenhair dude and that creepy lady walking by during the harassing seem to know what is going on. Maybe they trapped her in a loop because she is special? All I know about him is...he is creepy. And isn't doing a good job hiding the fact there are multiple timelines/universes going on.
