Amagami SS episode 16: NO MORE AI! XD

Another post made with little internet and photobucket being a pain in the butt. Seriously why have you forsaken me photobucket?

But yeah, watching Amagami SS with the laptop on save power mode really didn’t bother me. It wasn’t like OH NO I don’t get to watch this episode in its finest. More like….so it is 11 pm and all the people in this house are already in bed? Psht I am going to watch some anime.

Totally romantic!

So spoilers for the end of boring Ai and a lot of food I will probably never eat because I am not adventurous at all.

We are ready to be slaves Captain!

Episode Summary: Things start off with Hibiki going over some cooking techniques with Junichi and Ai. Then she drags Haruka away so those two can run the festival booth all by themselves. This episode seems really fair…The festival starts and everything seems on the up and up. Until the crazy Tea Club members arrive and are upset a boy is running the booth and that the food will not be up to par from previous years (see last year as these girls are both juniors I believe). They really give Junichi and Ai hell. Then they try the food and all is well. Amazing. Until drunk homeroom teacher comes up…all drunk. The Tea Club was handing out booze ya’ll. Tsukasa shows up and helps send Ms. Drunk on her way. The Tea Club apologizes and moves along. Ai gives Tsukasa some food for “helping” out and Tsukasa treats her weird. Because she is a stalker. The other girls are doing other things during the festival but we don’t care.

Perverted deer!!!

Junichi and Ai run the booth the entire time at the festival and the Swim Club only returns to close down. Also amazing. The pair eat and then run to catch the last bus. Ai makes Junichi climb through the woods up a hill 15 miles in the snow. They end up at the hot spring. Ai packed all their stuff and it will be romantic with towels. They get into the hot spring and all is shy and stuff. Then Ai confesses to Junichi and Junichi confesses to her. AW. And then they both lose their towels and end up kissing naked with deers watching. Because that is amazing people. The episode ends with Ai and Junichi snuggled up on the beach with Ai promising to take care of Junichi forever. THE END!

YAWN PEOPLE! YAWN!

So despite the Tea Club members acting like total freaks I thought they had a valid point. Why is a boy helping out with the Swim Club’s table? Like hello if Junichi wanted to be in a club he would be. Obviously he doesn’t so why should he have to help out running a table? And he was serving food, not lifting heavy boxes or doing…man things. Whatever man things might apply. So yeah Tea Club your delivery was off but I understood your message. Why IS a boy helping out?

Someone has an attitude problem!

But other than the HOW DARE YOU BRING A BOY HERE….what was their problem? Was that the only way to make the festival more interesting? To create some unnecessary drama? I was not impressed. Junichi is the same age as the head Tea Club member. There was no reason for her to talk down to Junichi the way she did. Unacceptable people! XO And she had some oden last year so she is the queen of flavor and will be the one who passes judgment on their booth? Just not working for me.

Hi I'm drunk!

So if that drama wasn’t bad enough then the homeroom teacher shows up all drunky drunk. At a school festival. I believe this people. I also believe that after last year’s drunky drunk incident the school allowed the Tea Club to serve sake again. And I also believe that students would be in charge of a drunk teacher getting some rest. I BELIEVE THIS ALL! If I was the teacher I would kicked all their asses. Rude kids.

So Swim Club? Why do you suck? You stick the newbie to run the ENTIRE STAND while you all have fun Oh I am sorry there were a few people trying to attract customers. My bad. So….why was it the girl who wasn’t good enough for the swim meet whatever it is but she is good enough to miss the ENTIRE festival for ya’ll? How amazing are all these girls? Oh yeah they aren’t. They offered to break down the booth that makes them SAINTS!

Holy crap what was up with Tsukasa?! She is super crazy. Ai hands her that food and she was like oh….should I take it or should I kill your entire family? In the end I think she took it so she would look good in front of Junichi but seriously. Why is she all up in Ai’s arc being a freak and not anyone else’s? Then she was staring down looking at the school….just no. X_X. Creepier.

Totally sweet right?

After the festival all was going well I thought. Ai was eating with Junichi, they took a bus to some location, and Ai was trying to surprise Junichi. I thought after the stupid festival stuff it was a nice change of pace. It was cute. And why is it we finally get a good festival point of view episode and it makes me want the next two arcs to totally gloss over this craziness.

Then Ai was like oh hi here is a random hot spring. Put on this towel and nothing else and you must totally behave. If Junichi is going to make out with soup I am not sure what Ai was thinking. OH WAIT SHE DID! XD But go random hot spring. I would not be taking a dip in December! Do not want.

Short and sweet I guess.

The confession was…nice I guess. The nakedness reminded me of Haruka’s arc but Ai wasn’t a desperate as Haruka. She was honest and Junichi was honest. It wasn’t that dramatic. Simple and sweet. Ai even drowning herself was sorta cute too.

Oh snap, actual nakedness.

And then it got….special. I thought Ai was going to be the quiet/reserved/slight cold. But she has been the X_X one so far. Very bold with her feelings and tactics around Junichi. The shy girls Sae and Ai are the ones who have been planning and plotting to be with Junichi. Only Ai is naked. And….that kiss looked like it could have lead to more. Like the deers got quite a show there people. I was expecting an embarrassed face or something but nope. Time to keep kissing and not minding she is leaning over Junichi all exposed. So….I am sure SOMETHING happened. Just not sure what.

What a future, a few days later!!!

The epilogue was pretty…well not very telling. The next day on the beach? Maybe it wasn’t the very next day but that is how it felt for me. I wish we could see further in the future, that these are lasting relationships. So that was bleh for me.

One really boring relationship down, two more to go. I am looking forward to seeing how crazy Tsukasa is going to be but we have to get through Rihiko’s 4 weeks of BUT I AM FAR mantra. Amazing stuff here people.

Back from my trip and ready to blog! Sort of.

I have returned! Rejoice my readers for your crazy blogger has braved the wilds of New Hampshire. She battled crazy family dynamics, a mountain of trees, and numerous cows and birds. There is no place like home people.

The funeral itself was very, very sad. As was expected. My grandfather was a very beloved member of the community and was an excellent father to his children and wonderful grandfather to his grandchildren. The church was packed and countless people told me how much they loved my grandfather.

My family is still healing from this loss and I think it will be quite a while until my mother can sleep through the night without crying. I think that is the hardest part of this all, watching my mother cry and knowing I can’t do anything about it. Just continue to send kind thoughts and prayers our way.

Now on to blogging news.



Well in semi related news I am sick. Like since Sunday I was sneezing/coughy/a little rundown. But when we had to get up today super early for the airport my body decided to give up. Me and the toilet become intimate friends throughout the day. I am sure my fellow airport travelers really enjoyed this all.

So my catching up to blogging might not happen as fast as I want it to. I am still scheduled to go into work tomorrow and to be honest I need the money after missing a whole week. I will just down some medicine, actually get some sleep, and be thankful that my town is not full of hills and curves that will make me nauseous.

HOWEVER I did blog three episodes while I was away and they are nearly ready to be posted. I would have posted them while away but apparently photo bucket just plain hates me. Or Firefox as various other angry people on the internet are saying. So I just need to upload three pics at a time on IE and I will be nearly good to go.

So tonight I will post my Psychic Detective Yakumo episode 4, Togainu no Chi Episode 3, and Amagami SS episode 16 summaries and commentaries. Thank goodness those are done. Also to give the Index post its pictures. The plan was to try to catch up on Hakuouki Hekketsuroku as well. But I will have to see how much food I can get to stay in my stomach and how tired my eyes are. Those episode(s) might be up tomorrow at the earliest but we will have to wait and see.

So tonight there will be 3 new posts but due to my ability to get sick at the drop of a hat and me working (maybe) 4 days in a row I don’t know when my next post will be. But I will try my hardest folks. Because I care. And I like anime.

Also I am in contact with my husband so that is making my pukey feelings a little less sad knowing he is okay and I can call him. XD

To Aru Majutsu No Index Season Two Episode 3

MOG PEOPLE! It is cold up here! X_X

I mean….hello. Yes I am still around. The internet connection has been so spotty. That and of course I am spending time with my family. So I am not sure how many episodes I can blog as we are busy the connection is beyond bad. But I shall try as everyone went to bed “early”.

Here is my attempt to blog with one bar people! To Aru Majutsu no Index 2 episode…you took forever to watch with all the pauses. That probably affected my experience of the show. :(

Also having an issue with photobucket. Trying to get the pictures loaded as soon as possible.

Nuns with mini skirts!

Episode Summary: Agnese gives Touma, Index, and Stiyl a rundown of what has to happen. They need to get the book back, Orsola back, and stop the Amakusa Church from using their crazy vortex. A lot to do probably. Agnese tells them to run if things go pretty bad. Stiyl says that doing all these things in a short amount of time isn’t going to happen so Touma says that they should just save Orsola. GOOD IDEA. Stiyl is like Touma I don’t want to you to die please take my necklace. Which would have been romantic had Stiyl not thrown Touma in danger so he and Index could escape. Some of the Amakusa church starts attacking the group. Touma runs and hides but manages to make a lot of noise. Go Touma. One girl attacks Touma but he gently knocks her out and takes her sword. He then runs into Orsola who was trying to escape from Amakusa. Awesome. She is still a little clueless and doesn’t give Touma any more details on what is going on. She does ask what side Touma is on and he says none. He then says that Stiyl’s necklace probably won’t be able to protect him. Orsola is then like WOOHOO I want it then and the scene gets all weird with Touma trying to put the necklace on Orsola without touching her.

This was randomly mentioned....

Stiyl then falls out of the sky like a leaf. Saiji has been kicking his butt apparently. Index is nearby and Touma is like aw you were protecting Index I WILL SAVE THE DAY. Only Saiji is doing some special kind of magic that makes him not using magic and Touma’s hand won’t work. He finds that out the hard way after Index screams NO TOUMMMMA. Stiyl and Touma then double team Saiji (with Touma punching him in the face) and take him down. He is tied up along with all his rag tag team. So woohoo Orsola is back in safe hands right? Wrong. Saiji is like no we are the good guys, Orsola came to us for help. Orsola said earlier she was going to decipher the book and destroy it, which would destroy the power that Christianity has all over the world. So the Roman Catholics are trying to kill Orsola so they can be all powerful still. Touma is like then why was Orsola trying to run away from you…Saiji says that Orsola stopped trusting them but he would never do anything to bring down his group’s name because Kaori would be disappointed. Before Touma could go investigate two nuns come up and are like hi we are here to guard. But Touma touches one of the nuns and she loses her mind. There is a fight with INDEX helping (I KNOW) and it becoming apparently that Saiji might be telling the truth. Orsola is in danger again ya’ll WOOHOO!!! The end!

XO Watching anime without the power cord is hard people. Like it is super dark and my brother tried to steal my internet and oh my gosh it is cold. I have power downstairs but no internet. I have some internet upstairs but the outlets only have two prongs. TWO PRONGS PEOPLE!

...Not sure if I like that pairing. XD

But to talk about the show. Stiyl was trying to bring me yaoi this week people. And yes I do know that is a serious stretch. XD So I am only kidding when I say AW Stiyl gave Touma that necklace to protect him HOW NICE! Of course then Stiyl did use him as a meat shield and he was probably only worried for Touma because then that is one less person to help him out….LET ME HAVE MY PRETEND YAOI MOMENT!

Index was all over the place being in the way and not helping at ALL yo. Okay I take that back. But she was doing her fair share of let me dramatic and run in the middle of a battle I can’t help you fight. Maybe she would be less useless if she had clothes she could easily move around in?

Wait this was the awesome move? XD

But putting aside that Index did pull out some awesome moves near the end. Or at least one I guess. When there was no other option she was there to save the day. Like hello crazy nuns are we forgetting she is the one who has all the spells in her brain? The bad spells that you put there? Yeah how about we don’t attack her. XD

So the action scenes this week weren’t that amazing. Which is fine for me. I think there was enough action to make the show fun but not enough that I am all bored thinking I am watching Bleach or something. Of course that makes me stupid since I have never watched Bleach before. But there are a lot of action scenes right? So that makes me happy this show has some action/magic going on but there is way more than that. XD

How dumb you say?!?!?!?

Orsola is kinda dumb. Is that going to be her MO from now on? Like oh I am in danger and I am going to sit here and be happy that I got a necklace? She seems weird. And a lot of drama could have been avoided had she told everyone she wasn’t really kidnapped, that she was trying to avoid being killed. But of course she really has no reason to trust any of these fools so yeah I guess that option wasn’t possible. She just needs to work on the being dumb part.

So it seems that Saiji was telling the truth. Which was a little shocking. It was all a scam people, the Roman Catholics wanted to kill Orsola and he was just protecting her. Or at least trying to win Kaori back. Something like that. In any event he was sitting there and a nun came for his help and he got caught up in trying to protect her.

We shouldn't be fighting at all!!!

HOWEVER maybe this protection plan would have gone better had he used his troops to actually protect Orsola and not fight the army of nuns. I guess if she thought they were turning on her it was hard to actually keep track of her. But it probably was proving her point when they turned up the violence too. I don’t know, I suppose home slice was telling the truth but it all seems so iffy to me.

Especially since it seems like Touma is hugging Luccia at the end. You know the girl who was using her magic wheel to try to squish him? She seems to have issues with NONBELIEVERS touching her and all. But yeah she was trying to kill him this week and next week he is picking her off the ground. Because Touma likes to make friends with the people trying to kill him people.

So we got a nun who holds the power to read a book that could end the Christian rule of Earth. Which…you know is weird. One group says she is kidnapped, one group says group one was trying to kill her, and Touma is like….oh okay. So I am sure it will turn out that NO ONE is at fault and there is a third party involved. And Kaori is super innocent. We shall see what is going on next week. XD When the internet connection is better hopefully.

Off I go again

The day has come people. Time for me and my family to take our sad vacation north. I predict there will be tears and sad times in the week ahead. Please keep me and my family in your prayers as we attend the funeral of a dear loved one.

Also, not to be snarky or to undermined the serious mood, pray that these lows of 30’s are like the temperature at 6 am and by like 10/11 am it is at the HIGH of 50. Such a sad thing to pray for a high of 50. But yeah, me and my Floridian wardrobe are limited. Going bring my husband’s jacket and hope for the best. Please come out Mr. Sun.

So pray/send kind thoughts to me and my family. Funerals are sad, I hate flying, and the cold is not my friend.


I know lately I have been posting a lot of personal things. Since I mainly post about anime/manga/figurines it feels a little odd and almost revealing to be blogging things like this. But I do tend to talk about my life here and this is a major event happening in my life. So while I apologize for the overall sad tone in my blog currently such is life.

While I am going on this trip to be with my family there will be some down time. Because these silly people go to bed around 10 or something insane like that. I am a night owl so that might be hard for me. So if I am given my own room and IF the internet connection works with this silly idea my husband thought up (love you honey for thinking of me! XD) I might be able to blog a little while gone this week. If I do blog the posts will be sporadic and not on schedule. But since this fall anime season has been all of whack for me I don’t really have a schedule yet.

So yeah…I I am able to blog (not sure if the videos will load on such a slow connection) I don’t know when the posts will go up. But I will make an effort to catch up as much as possible when I return. Which might be hard since when I return I will be working 4 days straight but money is good.

New Anime Series! Hakuouki Hekketsuroku episode 1

I should be packing….but when have you known me to pack or leave on time for anything? Never XD But since a plane is involved maybe clothes should make it into my CARRY ON bags eventually. Every single airline charging for the FIRST piece of luggage.

Also pray for me. It is going to be like an average of 40 degrees where I am going. I may freeze. :( Go Florida.

Someone is bringing sexy back....

Without any further ado it is time for the long anticipated second season of Chizuru Sucks at Everything. Err I mean…Hakuouki Hekketsuroku.

The episode of amazing outfits!!!

Episode Summary: THERE IS NONE HOMESLICE! Cause seriously I don’t know what is going on! But the gang is back at home and they got new clothes. THE END!

This episode was amazing! And by amazing I mean the historical stuff was confusing, Sannan was being a douchebag, Chizuru was acting useless, and Saito was hot. So I guess this means that season two will be the exact same thing as season one but now with HOT OUTFITS!

Chizuru...fighting....HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Like…this is going to be a dumb question…but where was the boat? Like they were on a boat and the cute little ninja dude died and they flung his cute little ninja body out to sea. Like weren’t they going somewhere? So why did they end up back at home? Or am I just completely confused and I should just nod my head and smile?

Hijikata not eating wasn't interesting so more Saito woohoo! XD

I am glad that becoming a zombie oni hasn’t changed Hijikata. Knowing that he needs to take better care of himself or he will start nommin people really means nothing to him. Or it means get less sleep and eat less real food. Surely this will help him in the long run. For once Chizuru’s over the top caring didn’t bother me because he needs looking after.

Sannan didn't get sexy new clothes so have more Saito!!!

I am glad that we killed off the cute, nice, and helpful ninja so Sannan can hog up the screen with his creepy self. I wouldn’t want to see someone AWESOME on my screen, no no I want to see someone who has been emo from episode 2. And now he is stinkin up season two. Why doesn’t everyone just vote his sorry face off the island already? He has already proven to be a loose cannon. But apparently Heisuke spying on him is good enough protect for Hijikata.

This was totally surprising.

Chizuru’s life was in DANGER this episode ya’ll! I am shocked! I am also shocked that Sannan was the one doing the endangering. And I am also shocked that NOTHING WAS DONE ABOUT IT! Like really Hijikata can’t you just spear him now? How many more times does he have to try to hurt Chizuru before you do something? Or if your plan is to let Sannan kill Chizuru because she is annoying as hell why do you keep interrupting him? HMMM people.

So like….Kondou having a high position means he is a sell out or something? I mean who cares what your group is called, do you want respect or what? I guess I don’t understand what all that serious business talk was about. I guess if I was told to change my way of fighting to be more accepted I might be pissed too. Also Wiki is a mean spoiler :(

Um...you have been doing that for a while now...

Okita is still alive yay! Okita is still sick and in bed boo. He is like the exact opposite of Sannan. We want to see more of him and he can barely fight, let alone be a threat to anyone. It’s not fair that he is a zombie oni and is still sick and dying. I call a redo. But at least he is still shown, even if it’s a pathetic woe is him scene.

Yeah I am not understanding why they get new clothes. I understand getting new weapons. YAY GUNS! But with all the trouble the guys were having with the new clothes I think they would be more comfortable in their old clothes. Psychic Detective Yakumo episode 3

Still no phone call from the husband. Sadness fills my heart.

But I got to see the BEST MOVIE EVER!!! Aka My Soul to Take. It is certainly the best 3D movie ever people. Really you won’t feel like you wasted money at all with the total of NO 3D scenes. Really.

Are you stupid?

Oh this is a Psychic Detective Yakumo post? I forgot. Time to muster up some caring people!

Haruka, a troublemaker? NEVER!

Episode Summary: Some random dude is driving home through a tunnel and is attacked by ghosts. This is bad. Haruka goes to visit Yakumo but he dares to have a life and is out at the moment. At the police station some of the cops are complaining about a random journalist woman coming in. A new kid I guess (Ishii) doesn’t know who the journalist is so everyone is like um she is the boss’ daughter so we can’t tell her to GTFO. Oh I see. But Gotou is like yeah I don’t want to talk to you at all crazy lady. But eventually the reporter lady hands over a picture that has a ghost boy in it. The newbie looks at the picture while Gotou goes to wait for Yakumo. He and Haruka talk about Yakumo for a bit until he returns. Apparently he is not allowed to leave the club room or something. After Haruka is all RARW at him she explains that her co-worker Tatsuya was taking her home through the HAUNTED tunnel and they were attacked by ghosts. She wants Yakumo to look them over to make sure they are not possessed. Yakumo says she is not and tells her to bring the co-worker in. Gotou then shows Yakumo the picture of the missing (dead) boy and how some shady guy in town is probably to blame.

Jesus take the wheel!!!!

Yakumo goes to the site of the picture and Gotou digs up the dead boy. Sadness. The coroner says that the boy was strangled but first he was run over. Haruka brings in Tatsuya and Yakumo is like no, no ghost there sir. But then Tatsuya freaks out when he sees the picture of the dead boy. Like for real freaking out. HMMMMM people. So Yakumo goes to tell Gotou on the phone leaving Tatsuya alone with Haruka. OH I SEE. Tatsuya takes off with Haruka. When Yakumo calls Haruka to warn him she doesn’t pick up because she is having a cry baby attack. Gotou picks up Yakumo and they chase after Haruka and Tatsuya. Tatsuya has been taking over by the ghost boy so Haruka can only steer the wheel. They are going to crash into the ghost tunnel OH NO! Yakumo tries to reason with the ghost but Gotou ends up crashing their cars safely so everyone lives. The dead ghost boy leaves Tatsuya but won’t let Yakumo help him. So ghost boy gets eaten by the mean ghosts living in the tunnel. Sad. No really it is sad. Yakumo pretends not to be but he is bummed. His Uncle and cousin leave flowers and pray for the lost souls in the tunnel and Haruka smiles because Yakumo is awesome. The coroner is having a rough day as a dead girl is found near the river. The grieving dad is sad his dead girl hasn’t come back yet and the creepy promises NEXT TIME! Also a lot of creepy people live in this town cause they are all taking pictures of dead people. THE END!

Oh. I see.

MORE DEAD PEOPLE!!!

So like…are all the mysteries going to be that easy to solve each week? If so I am really disappointed.

You are so dumb for real.

Yakumo is pretty snarky and I think I like him for that. Brutally honest, asshole, sarcastic would also apply to this college student. Calling the cop dude fat/a bear was nice. Yakumo telling Haruka that he doesn’t have to inform her of all his comings and goings. So yeah I like Yakumo’s style. I wonder why.

Well you should have talked to Yakumo in this case.

Haruka needs to stop talking to people. And leaving her house apparently. Because everyone she knows is either evil or about to be killed by a ghost. I think I would like this show better if it had Yakumo finding these cases instead of Haruka being personally involved in all the ghost cases. It probably will get old after a while, what with Haruka needing constant rescuing. I rather her be more of an equal…or at least not a damsel in distress all the time.

I'm surprised that Gotou didn't smack him...XD

Detective Gotou is warming up to me. He is like a grown up version of Yakumo but neither of them want to admit it. But he doesn’t give the reporter/daughter of the boss the time of day and I like that. He treats Yakumo like crap which is okay at times. I do think that Yakumo deserves to get paid but I think deep down Gotou appreciates him. And he had mad driving skills so yay right?

I AM SHOCKED AND AMAZED!!!!

Tatsuya was the bad guy I AM SHOCKED PEOPLE! It was obvious at all. I also liked that Yakumo said there wasn’t a dead little kid possessing him when there was a dead little kid possessing him. But yeah everyone Haruka talks to is evil and or in danger. Don’t do her a favor and drive her home folks.

Come back crazy little ghost!

I wonder about that tunnel though and why the kid wanted to go with the creepy ghosts. Like did the kid not want to move on because he didn’t get his revenge? If so then why go with these creepy Mc Creepier ghosts that just want to eat him? I rather move on than be completely eaten. I think I would have liked that scene better had Yakumo explained what was going on instead of going “I see” and “MMM”. I guess I just feel bad for the dead little kid that is all.

Why so angry?

I hope the reporter and newbie cop have something to do with…something as watching Yakumo be amazing with little to not effort on his part MIGHT become boring after a while. But the reporter lady seemed a little….head strong and the other cop dude seemed a little slow.

And no we didn’t get to see much of the “main” storyline this week. Just the grieving father offing an innocent girl in an attempt to get his daughter back. But I think the bad guy is going to end up being Yakumo’s dad. Because I said so.

Also I don’t think that anyone should get Yakumo’s brand of contacts. They like to fall out all the time.

I see dead people.

I guess the best part of this episode was the car chasing scene. Made Haruka and Gotou look good. But maybe Yakumo should do something about this tunnel…

Happy Birthday!

To me?

Maybe. Maybe it is my birthday today and maybe I am an old lady according to my brother. Just maybe.

I ENJOY CAKE!

But since the husband is out of town and my family is still dealing with the death of a loved one I decided to keep this a low key day and celebrate my birthday when my husband comes back. So the plan today is to hang out with a friend, eat cupcakes, and watch a terrible movie.

But it is still my birthday. Maybe. Yay for me existing!

Wish me luck on finding deals in the mall and the movie sucking in a good way. XD I will have a bigger birthday when my husband returns safely and sadness is not such a big part of our lives. I hope everyone has a good day!
