Duffy the Disney Bear Adventures: Tea Time?

Lots of different kinds of tea parties around the world. I wonder what Mom meant.

Hello there! It is me again Duffy the Disney Bear. Mom says she is falling asleep in the computer chair. Well maybe if she stepped aside and let me handle my own posts I could get things done faster! XO I don't think Mom would like me being cheeky though. I think I will just say that many other stuffed animals live in the house with me and Mom and sometimes I get together with them to have fun. Having lots of Duffys is nice but I like to be friends with everyone you know? So here is a bit of afternoon fun we had one day.

Oh this kind of tea party. Well....we are dressed nice anyway so I am sure it won't matter.

When Mom rescued my furniture she only found one chair. I am sure Hello Sunshine doesn't mind.

Err we can't really reach the table. But keep your crown on Queen of Hearts. It isn't that big of deal. We can stand up!

The Hellos invited the Alice and Wonderland Tsums over to the party too.

Apparently this was a super sugar filled party. You might want to slow down there Mad Hater.

The Queen of Hearts dress looks good on Hello Valentine. I wonder how Shelly May will look when Mom finally gets her.

We will combine meals so they are a little more balanced.

All of us look pretty cute. The Hellos are made big at Build a Bear though! Maybe they should have special clothes for bigger plushies.

All the Hellos in the Alice in Wonderland outfits. We had a fun afternoon of yummy foods. Maybe we can do it again sometime soon.

Rest in peace Lappy the Laptop

My little blue laptop...never to turn on again...

:( So...yeah. my long time companion and partner in blogging crime has died today. Technically it died yesterday and I was in denial, thinking that I would let it rest overnight and magically Tinkerbell was going to sprinkle pixie dust on the stupid thing and it would come back to life. This was clearly not t be and 3 sad attempts later it is clear the laptop is in a deep coma. One that would probably require pumping a lot of money into the IV to make it turn on again. Thus....goodbye Lappy.

I am not quite sure how old the laptop is. I know some of the very first blog posts I made on this Tenchi's Thoughts were on my husband's old desktop. We had a desktop at our apartment and then the husband upgraded and the old one became primarly mine. Once the new laptop was paid off we got the new laptop and after that was paid off we got ANOTHER new desktop. So as I write this I realize if I really wanted my own computer at this moment we could put the old desktop back together until we win the lottery and I can get a new Lappy 2.0. HMMMM didn't think about that until I started typing. Will have to ask the husband when he gets home.

One last attempt to turn Lappy on. Duffy is here for moral support.

So yeah Lappy was sorta old. It was having a lot of problems. The graphics would randomly go out on it, especially when watching pretty cool anime. It was hard to play internet games as well as download anime episodes due to how SLOW it was to download anything. The battery died a while ago. Some of the keys would stick. The right clickly thing was pretty clicked out. While I am sure Lappy can be fixed it might cost way too much given how old it is. Sorta like how I haven't driven since June since my car decided it no longer wanted to go. It just seems like the last 12 months half the things in our house wanted to break. Except my cellphone which I think is the first cellphone in the exist of cellphones.

Now it is so broken it won't even go to the HEY I am broken screen. Goodbye Lappy.

Where does this all leave me? Um in not so fun land. The desktop DOES work and is pretty fast but I hate the keys on it. I am so used to the laptop typing this is taking forever. Thankfully I had a vision of Lappy's death about two weeks ago so I saved all my pics onto CDs (which I have now been told is lame and I should have used a...whatever they said I should have used). In terms of anime posts I actually saved one of my undone posts here the night before so the only thing that was super lost forever was the half finished Glasslip episode 5 post and some screenies not on Photobucket yet. Still very bummed. All my favorites, my links. Things I enjoyed in terms of set up on my computer...gone forever. :( Sad Tenchi is sad. I still have access to this desktop so I can still post. Just might take longer since this is my husband's main computer and since the man puts up with me and has a hard job he should get first dibs when he comes home from work. I guess we will see how the older desktop is doing and maybe things won't be quite as sad. Just...goodbye Lappy. You will be missed. :(

Duffy the Disney Bear Adventures: A Stitch-y kind of day

I reuse Build a Bear boxes to hold all my different toys.

It's been a rather calm summer in this house. Mom and Dad have been busy doing whatever it is they do when they are not taking me out to fun places so I have to find ways to entertain myself. Good thing Mom and Dad got me a lot of toys and outfits to keep me busy. Do I look a lot like Stitch? Sometimes Stitch can be a little bad so I won't act like him, just play nicely with my Cars toys.

So warm and fun in my Stitch outfit.

Why hello there Stitch plushie. XD I know mom loves Stitch and plushies so she has quite a few in the house. Maybe my Stitch outfit is a Stitch magnet?

Well I have enough Cars toys to go around so I can share and play with you.

Oh look another Stitch. Mom got this one in Tokyo from the Disney Store. I guess he wants to play too.

Since I got a lot of Cars toys for Christmas I have enough to share with Penguin Stitch too. Lets all play together.

Err what is that? A rather large...and round Stitch? Mom does love to hug squishy things and he looks really squishy.

Even though I don't think your arms will reach of course we will play with you. Any plushie of mom's is a friend of mine!

Oh I know you. Pillow Pet Stitch! Mom got him from the World of Disney store. I think I helped to pick him out.

Since he is a little bigger I will give him bigger toys to play with.

OH MY GOSH! What a giant and flat looking Stitch?! X___X

Since he is the biggest Stitch ever he will get the biggest Cars toys to play with. Mom says it was tons of fun bringing this Stitch back home from Japan.

Some of the Stitches are big enough to fit in my Cars meal container.

Don't drive off the couch!!!!

Mater is big enough to carry the giant Stitch. He is super strong!

Oh look who it is! Kira isn't a Stitch but she is rather cute.

Kira likes to smell everything. It is her way of saying hello.

After we are done playing we put the toys away. We won't want to leave a giant mess for mom you know. I had a good time with all the Stitch friends. So many plushies to be friends with in this house.

Duffy the Disney Bear Adventures: Sharknado 2 with Fin!

This doesn't feel like a plushie...

Mom loves watching Sci-Fi movies. Or Syfy. I think they changed names or something. Dad thinks...these movies are special to say the least. I think they are special too! I mean two headed sharks and sharks that can fly in the sky and take down planes. It is like anime but in real life. Mom got all pumped to watch this new movie called Sharknado 2: The second one so I put on something...a bit themed I guess for the event. The name of the movie is a bit boring so I hope the movie isn't.

Mom went to Adventure Landing for Muffy's mothers birthday and she earned enough tickets for this plastic shark. She named him Fin and Kira does not like him at all. He squeaks and she runs for the hills. :( Poor Fin, I will be your friend.

It was sorta hard for Mom to take pictures. The sharks were flying very fast and the blood was WHOOSHING all over the place.

Basically the movie was about sharks in a tornado and the main character Fin (hey he matches Mom's new shark) was trying to stop it. And no one else was really worried about the tornadoes or sharks as they were walking around the streets like nothing was happening at all.

I think Dad was right, this is a special movie. X___X

Duffy the Disney Bear Adventures: Fun at Olive Garden and Adventure Landing

This is totally not Christmas paper turned inside out. Never.

It was recently Muffy's mom's birthday. So many '! But instead of going to Disney this year (sad face) Muffy's mom decided to go to Olive Garden and Adventure Landing with friends instead. I guess that is okay even if Disney is more fun! We could have had churros but I have never been to Olive Garden so that might be fun too.

Got to get the present all ready. Giving presents at birthdays is fun!

For the first time ever Mom was not only ON TIME but was the first one somewhere. GO MOM!

I was in charge of the buzzer. You put your name in at the desk and you wait outside with your little buzzer. When it is your turn it starts to vibrate and gets all red.

After a bit we got seated inside the restaurant at a big table.

What to get what to get?! I have never been here before so I have decisions to make.

Mom forgot to take a picture of the food. :( It was a lot too! A salad and breadsticks and raviolis. All very yummy.

After dinner it was time to play mini golf at Adventure Landing.

They had a nice little resting area for bears to take a nap.

We went to inside to play games. While mom lost really bad at Who Wants to be a Millionaire Dad won the jackpot at this game.

Everyone's favorite game of the night was this new fishing game. Basically we captured fishes and got tickets based on how many pounds we caught. Mom was obsessed with trying to get the bonus. The only person who got the bonus was Scruffy's mom though. It was fun to watch though. We had a great time even if it wasn't Disney. Yay golf!
