But onward to blogging folks. Up now is Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica episode 7. Spoilers for…X_X. Exactly.
MOG SO EVIL XO
Episode Summary: After DYING on the bridge Sayaka goes home and attempts to throw Kyubey around. Only he dodges her halfhearted attempts and explains his reasoning on putting the souls in gems and how many girls (including Mami) never find out so why are people so pissed? He decides to demonstrate how amazing he is by stepping on her jewel and making her suffer. Sayaka is so greatful for that experience she doesn’t go to school the next day. Zombies don’t deserve school anyway. Madoka spends breaks with Homura instead. She said that no one believed her about the jewel soul thing so she stopped telling people. But she also says to stop hanging around Sayaka as that will end in tears. Kyoko stops by Sayaka’s and decides to take her on a walk to a rundown church. Things are mostly nonviolent except when Sayaka throws an apple. POOR APPLE. But she explains that her wish was to basically save her father’s church as he was depressed and the family was starving. But when he father found out what she had done he went insane and killed the entire family. Now Kyoko is like…dude that sucks magic if only for yourself!!!! She wants to help Sayaka from making the same mistake (even though she already has…) but Sayaka wants to help others. She doesn’t believe in Kyoko’s ways but appreciates hearing her story. Kyoko then eats an apple.
Clearly Sayaka has learned nothing.
The next day at school Kamijo hobbles in all full of hope he will recover. Sayaka refuses to talk to him which pisses Hitomi off. Hitomi then takes Sayaka aside and confesses she is in love with Kamijo. But she will allow Sayaka one day to confess first because she isn’t a man stealer. Later that night Sayaka goes witch hunting but Madoka wants to come along. Sayaka breaks down saying that Hitomi will win because she won’t go after Kamijo in a zombie body. She’s not WORTHY!!!! Then she pushes her sad tears aside and goes witch hunting. Kyoko and Homura watch the battle with Kyoko getting pissed that Sayaka is losing. The battle is not as flashy as before, only black and white pictures of everyone. Sayaka is almost squished but Kyoko saves her just in time. Only Sayaka has already done lost her mind and going to town on the witch. SLASH AND BURN FOLKS! THE END!

Seriously folks. The stuff that came out of Kyoko’s mouth this week was shocking. I have a crazy imagination and I wouldn’t think of that scenario. Like seriously I think of X__X things all the time when I am watching anime and this was so out of left field I am shocked. SHOCKED!
Good job Sayaka. That was really the point of the story.
When Kyoko was pissed about the thrown apple I was like OH OKAY. So Kyoko was poor and wished for money. But when her family got money things were only great for a short period of time. Dad started staying out late and partying. Maybe spent some money on hookers and drugs. Mom started spending all her time acting like a socialite and neglected the kids. Mom and Dad befriended the wrong people and one day Kyoko and her siblings were kidnapped for random. Only things went horribly wrong and everyone ended up dead but Kyoko.
See folks? I can think of bizarre stuff too. But I would have never guessed….this. The entire show is crazy and unpredictable. I think that either Lady Gaga is writing this show or a lot of pot is being consumed in creating something this weird.

The first unpredictable thing about this episode is Kyoko is A OKAY with being a zombie. See I thought maybe she was going to see Sayaka to bond over their hatred of Kyubey. That is what I was expecting. And by expecting this I failed completely. But Kyoko drank some chocolate milk, watched some late night TV, and decided she was okay with her soul being inside a piece of jewelry. Even though she was SUPER PISSED last episode she is fine now folks. Because she is crazy and that is how crazy people think.

The second unpredictable thing about this episode is Kyoko’s wish. She didn’t wish for food or money. No no she wished that her crazy preacher father would have a full church of people again. OH OKAY! Because that makes sense. I mean it makes SENSE for her to wish for it but not something I would think of. I can imagine little Kyoko feeling so sad that her dad is sad no one believes him. That probably made her more upset than not having enough to eat. But in the grand scheme of things I would not have guessed this.
So like....why use your magic at all?
The third unpredictable thing about this episode is Kyoko’s reaction to her failed wish. Like it is clear she is insane. Or something. One would have to be to deal with this kind of trauma. But for her to go on and on to Sayaka about her magic just being hers….like what was the point? Kyoko only got one wish. The only magic left is the power to fight witches. If she doesn’t use any magic her jewel stays clear yes? So technically Kyoko could just live her life and not fight witches at all. It would be the same as allowing the familiars kill human beings. Well the outcome would be the same. Just not her mindset. I mean…should she risk her life for people who don’t matter to her? See sounds better than allowing people to die.
But yes. Kyoko’s reaction to losing her entire family is OH WELL. Now I know that wishes are only meant for you and I am all happy now. See I would be a crying mess in the corner. ALL I WANTED TO DO WAS SAVE MY FAMILY. I don’t think I could just walk away from such pain and suffering. And I don’t think Kyoko did either. I think she is crazy. You’re crazy so I am going to call you crazy. Okay crazy?
Insane but well fed.
So in conclusion….Kyoko is insane. She wanted to kill Sayaka so she could get all the witches in town. She is pretending that being a zombie is okay when really she is pissed and has a reason to bond with Sayaka. And she tells Sayaka this sad story which…doesn’t matter. Sayaka already made her wish FOR SOMEONE ELSE! This isn’t a cautionary tale of DO NOT DO THIS. This is a story about um so yeah your life is going to suck soon. But since we are both on the suck ship together want an apple?

A magical girl AND a zombie? This sounds familiar....
But Sayaka is not taking this zombie thing very well. I thought she was going to throw Kyubey off the bridge herself. But now she is just a sobbing mess in the corner because she doesn’t deserve Kamijo now. Because she is a ZOMBIEEEEE. Obviously he will know this when he feels her hugs or kisses. And she is no longer worthy of his love because she is gross and disgusting and less than human.
Deep down do you think Sayaka thought she had a chance?
OH WAIT FOLKS. He never loved her anyway. That is the point that is being forgotten. Sayaka is just focusing on how she can’t have Kamijo NOW. But she was never going to have him. Ever. His love is the violin. So as tragic as it is that Sayaka thinks that she doesn't deserve Kamijo the really, REALLY tragic part is that she was never going to get him even though she wasted her life and wish on him.
If only you knew......
Although I do hate that they had to bring Hitomi in on this. Like Sayaka ever had a chance. I think I would rather her be rejected than lose to Hitomi. But I do like that Hitomi was a good and honest friend to Sayaka. But don’t pick a guy over your friends ladies.

There is less evidence now that Kyubey is evil. BOOOO! Even Homura who was seen the first episode trying to kick his ass is all like OH he just doesn’t understand humans. Whatever. I still don’t trust a creature that approaches young kids with the lure of wishes and all they get in return are broken dreams and decapitated heads.
Good thing she is not crazy like Kyoko. GOOD THING.
By the end of the episode we are not rewarded with a creepy ass battle with an ugly witch. No no we get some sort of shadow imagery thing, Sayaka losing her damn mind, and Kyoko was being a helpful magical girl. Clearly the world is insane. And I can’t wait until next week to see how much more insane things can get. XD

Anonyous- It is a bit sad that she isn't even going to get a kiss out of this boy. But she has cackle the evil cackle of doom. Her days are numbered.
