Kore wa Zombie desu ka episode 5: Magical girls gone wild!

Sorry this episode wasn’t up last night. I had (well still have) a massive headache. At this point I think I am experiencing my first migraine. Do migraines last for over 3 days? Shoot me now I think.

In other exciting news we FINALLY ordered our passports. It feels as if it has been a month long adventure in angry feelings, wrong information, and crazy payment methods. But behold we have ordered our passports and we are that much closer to Japan. REJOICE WITH US!

Something is very relevant to Ayumu's interests.

In continuing the theme of WTF this week is Kore wa Zombie desu ka episode 5. Insanity indeed folks. Beware for random kisses and someone who will out stupid Ayumu.

Someone is having FEELINGS!

Episode Summary: Sera and Haruna are going to make out and Ayumu is probably turned out. This gratuitous yuri scene is happening because Sera needs blood to live and the writers need to spice things up. After this lovely display of yuri Ayumu is shocked to learn that vampires need blood. He offers up his blood quite quickly and Sera is like no. Do not want. Probably because he is DEAD! Haruna decides to practice transforming again but this leaves her naked and of course Ayumu walks in on her. After a brief kick to the head Ayumu is like yo dinner is ready fool. There are some cryptic scenes of a girl walking around the city. All the girls decide to take a bath so we can see their boobies. Ayumu answers his phone and it is Haruna’s teacher. Turns out teacher wanted some food from KYOTO not grief from TOYKO. The teacher implies that Ayumu is important to Haruna but Ayumu is like ma’am I will get your food. Kyoko (the girl from the hospital) calls X___X and Ayumu is like oh I am glad you are okay ask your grandfather to bring me some good from Kyoto.

WTF are you a zombie too?

Ayumu is tortured the next day as it is a bright sunny day but is happy since he will meet Kyoko later that day. Yuu warns him not to go but off he goes…to the graveyard. So romantic folks. Anyway Kyoko gives him the food and asks to be Ayumu’s girlfriend. Only she stabs him. AGAIN as she is the random serial killer in town. She then morphs into a magical girl and explains she changed everyone’s memories so she could become closer to him and finally kill him. She is running around killing people so she can have immortality. Her eyes also grow red, she has monster powers, and 10 lives. OH OKAY THEN! Ayumu battles her for a while until he is frozen under a spell. Good thing Haruna shows up. Kyoko seems to know Haruna but since Haruna remembers no one this is useless. Sera gets her ass kicked so Ayumu is forced to transform. He mega transforms and together Sera and Ayumu kill Kyoko. Only not because she has ten lives remember? Good thing Yuu has shown up which is what Kyoko wanted all along? THE END!!!

Yay panty shots.

Obviously this week is the week of crack anime. I am sure Starry Sky will also turn out to be crack and be amazing and actually show romance. Crazy I know.

Magical girls...KILLING humans? I think I have the vapors now.

Also this seems to be the season of crazy magical girls. We got the entire crew over in Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica land not acting like the stereotypical magical girl. Now we got a boy magical girl, Haruna who doesn’t care about civilian causalities, and Kyoko….a girl running around actively killing humans. Sailor Moon this is now the decade of crazy magical girls who aren’t willing to die 15 times in a series to save the world/friends. Crazy indeed.

Not very effective looking to me.

Let’s go in order though. The entire yuri scene at the beginning of the episode was so over the top I couldn’t be all RARW. Of course if I was RARW it would be because implied yaoi is just IMPLIED while yuri seems to be all over the place and now they get real kisses. ANYWAY yes it was so over the top it was amusing. Especially when Sera couldn’t explain the kiss. And the whole sucking blood thing didn’t look very effective. Silly writers, it can be sexy and effective at the same time.

Photobucket

Using all the hot water so you have none?

But Ayumu is dumb. Like for real kinda dumb. Maybe he was caught up in the hot yuri moment or something. But does dead zombie blood sound delicious to you Ayumu? There is a reason zombies eat real people and not their own kind. Goober.

Photobucket

And you lose. Always.

He is also dumb for not knocking on Haruna’s door. Granted it is his house and they are all a bunch of freeloading crazies. And even Ayumu himself said that Haruna was always running around naked so why would he risk that? So while Haruna really should be locking her door when practicing her naked transformations Ayumu is at fault because he is a boy. Very simple folks.

Very amazing phone there.

The phone call from the teacher was also special. Probably because she was talking on some paper cups but you know. Par for the course. Ayumu was given a hint that Haruna likes him (JUST SAY MY NAME) and he learns that Haruna’s all important mission was really about food. Some genius who gets Kyoto and Tokyo mixed up. The only thing that made me sad was not seeing Ms. Teacher. But I think are too assume she is cute and probably in love with Ayumu too.

Photobucket

Oh crap I forgot that in anime anyone can be the killer.

Now I am going to say I was pleasantly surprised that Kyoko turned out to be the serial killer. Like I am surprised she is the one and I am surprised this was revealed so soon. Not sure if she will be the ultimate baddie or that it will be revealed that Kyoko was following orders from someone else. But either way I thought home girl was dead last week so YOU KNOW!

Photobucket

I AIN'T DEAD!!!

Also I am quite amused that Kyoko is trying to outdo Ayumu in the crazy department. Not only is she the evil serial killer, but she is a magical girl, has the powers of the demon monsters AND vampires, and is something like a zombie. Like Bam Ayumu you thought you had the corner on the impossible department. OBVIOUSLY YOU DON’T!

I am not going to question why someone with such awesome powers would turn either. Because there is no point. But hello why does she have to kill humans to gain immortality when she has now 10 lives left? I mean if she didn’t run around fighting she might have all those lives left and she wouldn’t have to kill anymore. Unless each of those lives she has comes directly from the humans she kills. Then it all makes sense.

Photobucket

A magical moment?

If that is the case I hope she defeated when she thinks she has one life left but it is really Ayumu’s and because he is still alive her count gets taken down to zero. Flawless victory.

Photobucket

Does everyone know you?!

Who knows what will happen now that Yuu is on the scene? She didn’t have much to do with this episode but since Kyoko knows her this should be good. Obviously Kyoko is also a necromancer and wants Yuu’s job right? So she can be a Power Ranger robot alien? I KNEW IT!!!!

Photobucket

Aw they censored it for me how nice XD

It's kind of weird that Kyoko-chan turned out to be the serial killer after she's shown dead last week? Oh yeah, she has more than one life. It's probably correct that she can increase her lives count every time she kills somebody, and she can probably even absorbed her victim's power.
The reason she's doing these? Probably her own life is being targeted as well! That's why she must shut the mouth of people who have seen her.
Just how many 'probably' are there?
LOL

Eternia- Yeah but I think it is weird she would waste one of her lives to kill herself. Why not just erase everyone's memories and be done with it (well and kill Ayumu). Seems weird she would kill herself.

This show, weird. HAHA XD

Random comment that disappeared- Yes Kyoko seems to be the evil name of the season. X__X
