K-On!! Season Two Episode 15

-_- Why is it my shortest day of work is turning into my most hated? I want to get in, get out, and earn some money. But now it has turned into the day of entitled customers and crazy people. Seriously what have I done to deserve this?!

HIIISSSSSSSSSS! Work! HISSSSS!

But on the upside it is K-On!! day. Factor in it go to the grocery store day and I am taken to my happy place with my salad and Code Red. So it’s not all bad. There is light at the end of the tunnel. Also I guess I can’t tease Yui and her rice cracker craziness if I am a crazy CODE RED I LOVE YOU girl.

Warning: This episode contains way too much exercise. Proceed with caution. Also it is recommended that you eat ice cream while watching this episode.

Can I touch it....

Episode Summary: The second semester has started at school again and our heroes are a little meh about it. Well except for Azusa who can’t wait for the school festival. But before that can happen the dreaded marathon is mere days away. Yui is the least excited about the marathon followed by Mugi who is changing her diet to help herself out. Even though the marathon is only like 3 miles long Yui is still all doom and gloom. Sawako jokes the girls should run in their maid uniforms but Yui thinks it’s a good idea so they can have the marathon cancelled for future generations. They then eat like black pudding. But maybe Yui is taking it a little serious because she and Ui go out to buy running shoes. They run into Sawako and she drives the girls home. Sawako was out buying some food for after the race and gives a dramatic description of the path they must take. Yui is thrilled. Then there is some rice cracker talk and Yui makes little charms to make it rain. Only it doesn’t and tomorrow finally comes.

Praying for rain didn't work.

The race is on and the Light Club is already falling behind. Mio has it in her head that she will come in last and being in last means you will get your picture in the school paper and be embarrassed. So she runs on ahead. Jun is dying while Azusa and Ui push her on. But Jun magically comes back to life when Mio catches up to them because Mio is amazing. Mio watches on as the three friends talk. Back in slow land Yui is making slow progress as things like vending machines and kittens distract her. But Mio appears again because she wants to run with her friends. More running. Then it is decided that maybe they should apply their Light Club stuff and sing while they run. This leads to people almost passing out. Also Mio created a new song. Soon the girls catch up to Jun who has been left behind by Azusa and Ui. She points out that Yui is no longer with them. This leads to epic freaking out. Jun goes ahead to scream that Yui is lost to anyone who will listen.

It has a mind of its own!

The remaining Light Club girls search for Yui and Sawako comes to help. Ui shows up eventually and randomly knows where Yui is. The route goes past their house and they find Yui drinking tea with the grandma next door. But she really did get a boo boo and needed to rest. So on the road they go again. They are indeed last place but Mugi wants them to make the best of it. Suddenly Yui remembers she ate a rice cracker earlier and that means there won’t be enough for everyone and she starts running like crazy. Mio then panics because she really doesn’t want to be last. Ritsu starts running because she wants to know what is going on and Mugi starts running because she feels left out. This leads to Mio tripping and performing a flip. She is embarrassed but everyone gets soup and crackers and all is well. Except Sawako who is still looking for Yui in the woods. The end.

XO Running? Exercise? What is on my screen? I am confused people.

Photobucket

I love the Mugi face XD

I am going to make a confession for the sake of making one. I am horribly out of shape. I drive to my mailbox because I hate being outside that much. I exercised for 15 minutes a few weeks ago and I was sore FOR DAYS. You know that episode where the little kids outrun the contestants on the Biggest Loser? Those contestants have a reason for being out of shape; I don’t.

Photobucket

Oh only three miles!!!

So I come into this post with the thinking….X_X I would have passed out and died in the forest. I am sure people will be mocking Yui and how she was dramatic. But people that is 3 miles! Do you know how long three miles is, when part of that is uphill? That is like…..a really long way. I mean maybe I can be motivated enough to WALK three miles TOTAL when I am doing something fun like going to Disney or an anime convention but to continuously move those three miles and pretend to run them? No people. I would be out before mile 1. With that said there will be no snarking on how out of shape these girls are. Instead I fully support them in thinking this is torture.

Photobucket

Evil teachers are evil.

Also what is the point of this marathon anyway? Don’t they have gym classes every single year? That is better than most schools in America where you only need one gym class credit. What with all the walking these Japanese kid do these whole marathon is pointless. And there should be like cake at the end of this marathon, not something that sounds suspiciously healthy.

Photobucket

At least she said sorry...

Yui. Maybe I will mock you for stopping at grandma’s house. That was a bit worrisome because you caused other people to panic. Next time just lay in the road so people can find you. But other than that I support you and your dramatic I can’t do this! Because I couldn’t either. They would have had to wait for me and not you.

Photobucket

Leave my Mugi alone!

I am a little surprised that Mugi was out of shape. Then I remembered she was a rich girl and realized how dumb I am. Three miles people! I think they were doing good. The only haha part was when Mugi went Let’s Sing 5 minutes after she nearly passed out from singing. Other than that…my poor Mugi.

Photobucket

Because getting a picture of Mio doing the tripping leap was too hard.

Mio worries about the most special things. But then it turns out she is right to worry so it is hard to make fun of her. I am not sure what that spinning thing was at the end but at least she didn’t flash anyone. I thought it was nice of her to wait for the rest of the club but she should have pressed on knowing this crew. XD

Photobucket

Of course we are not lost....

Ritsu was neither here nor there. I did like it at the end when she didn’t understand why they were running so hard. XD She seemed fine with running, she didn’t have as many jokes this episode, and her hair like it usually is UNLIKE MY MUGI. I did like her dramatic MOG we are lost in the woods when they could see the streets though.

Photobucket

Where is the friendship?!

I do wonder why Azusa didn’t wait for her club members. She is always worried about being left behind but she smoked their butts. XO Run as a unit, more help to pull Yui up the hill. Also Ui run with your sister! Jun…I got your back.

Photobucket

Save yourselves!

In conclusion…I feel sorry for all these girls. I feel tired after watching them. And if it had been me and my friends running this mile we would be in the dust and it would be dark when we finished. Also my husband probably would have left us which makes me mad at him for something he probably might have done. Running. It is serious business.

Photobucket

No friend left behind!
