But in my defense...TWO NEW CHAPTERS?! I wait for weeks on end for new chapters of Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles and XXXholic and then I get two chapters of each within 6 days? It was like a gift from God trying to make up for my lack of Fai figurine at AFO.

Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles Chapters 225-226
Would a kiss kill you CLAMP?
Not much happens in chapter 225 of Tsubasa. Clone Sakura and clone Syaoran talk about their future/past and how they will support each other no matter what. They promise each other that if they are separated again they will find search the worlds and be reunited no matter what. It is very touching BUT WE NEED MORE PLOT PLEASE!
Starting to get a little weird over here.
Then comes the moment where clone Syaoran tells his son real Syaoran that his mother has had a dream about real Sakura. This time we are allowed to see what really happened and not the little boy memories of real Syaoran. I am trying not to think about how old everyone is now and just try to go with the flow. But I think it is funny that Kurogane thought he was the oldest person in this little group and now he is the youngest. XD
Almost too cute for words!
Clone Syaoran repeats the cycle and gives his tiny son/not really son real Syaoran the sword. A sword he can barely carry letting us all know this kid is really too young for this important mission. And if one really thinks about it if real Syaoran never met real Sakura at all Fei Wong Reed's plan wouldn't work at all! Of course clone Sakura and clone Syaoran wouldn't exist....but still!
Must not ask questions!!!
Once they send their son on his way clone Syaoran and clone Sakura must complete the cycle with asking Yuko for help and using the tube thingy thing that Clow Reed left behind for this moment. Who knows how long this has been going on for, this crazy loop. But clone Syaoran seems to think now that he has Clow Reed's blood in him things will be different now and the future can be changed. Or the past at this point. Or the present, not quite sure!
Time to say goodbye. :(
And now we are at volume 1...again.
Clone Syaoran and clone Sakura tearfully say their goodbyes to one another as they know what is coming. Magical circles come into play as both clones are transformed back into their 16 year old form, the forms that they last saw Yuko in. They are transported into that magical tube and promise each other that the future will be changed. That clone Sakura's dream will not come true and things will work out. Maybe. Because this is CLAMP after all.
Poor confused Kurogane.
Chapter 226 of Tsubasa starts off with everyone going MOG what the hell is going on? Except Fai because Fai knows everything. But the last few chapters have been explained to Fai, Kurogane, Fei Wong Reed, real Syaoran and Mokona. And there are dramatic faces and knowing smiles and a sense of really REALLY?!
Poor Fai, always getting yelled at.
Yay for the return of Kurogane and Fai (sort of anyway). Once again Fai seems to know what the heck is going on. Or maybe he just thought wow there really can't be that many Sakura's and Syaoran out there in the world and tried to make it make sense in his head. Or Fai is just AMAZING and knows everything. Personally I think Fai is amazing and can just sense these things. Maybe clones smell different or sparkle less. Whatever the case may be Kurogane did not know and feels as if Fai, in the middle of their spectacular battle and in the last 5 minutes, should have somehow informed him of this magicalness. Stop yelling at Fai!

So after Kurogane is told that everyone is his long last friend he throws a mini fit. But in true Kurogane fashion he tells everyone that they are not allowed to disappear or he will beat them upside the head. The clones are touched that Kurogane cares so much for them despite all this mess and real Syaoran is touched because he hasn't been a member all that long of their little group. Real Sakura is unconscious and does not count as she has been FROZEN IN TIME and no one has talked to anyway. Group hug!

Now this moment was pretty touching to me. Moreso than everyone else real Syaoran should be going MOG WTF IS GOING ON?! His dad is really a clone of himself, the clone he tried to kill to save the world? The person that shared part of his soul for a little bit? And then his mom is really a clone of the girl he fell in love with? Yeah real Syaoran needs some therapy. But for now clone Syaoran will try to mend over this craziness with pretty words and a kind smile. FOR NOW IS THE TIME TO FIGHT!

But before real Syaoran and clone Syaoran can share a hug the worlds stop.....exploding or whatever they were doing like 10 chapters ago. Clone Sakura and clone Syaoran had tried to use their power to put back together the laws of the world that Fei Wong Reed (and real Syaoran) destroyed. But now everything has halted and everyone is going WTF? Except for Fei Wong Reed who is pissed that Yuko is not in ANY of the worlds. In the panel above this picture someone is saying "He stopped it". It is unclear who is saying it even though Fai and Mokona are in the panel. It might be Fei Wong Reed. But this blogger things that the HE that is being referred to is over in XXXholics.
And into crazy land he goes.....
Everyone but Kurogane looks more concerned about Fei Wong Reed losing his mind than hating him for causing this mess. And I know I have said in the past that I hate Fei Wong Reed but.... His plan is falling apart and something that he didn't consider has come into play. Now these two last scenes are only important because of the scenes in XXXHolic so let's bounce on over to why I might feel bad for Fei Wong Reed.
XXXholic Chapters 184-185
I spy with my one and a half eyes...
Chapter 184 starts off with Dōmeki questioning this crazy egg again. Off screen it seems that black Mokona explains to egg to Dōmeki which makes me sad. :( I want to know what it does and I want to know NOW!
It is time to walk around the house dramatically and glow slightly.
So very sad.
After tucking the two girls in Watanuki walks around the shop and finds Yuko's robe on the floor. After she melted in the dream world this was the spot she was standing in the "real" world when she "died". After all his complaining and hating on Yuko Watanuki really did care for her and deeply sadden about her death. MMMMM when someone dies in this series it is usually followed by a really bad decision that affects the lives of everyone!
NO OFF SCREEN EXPLAINING!!
Dōmeki is explained what the egg is going to be used for/why Yuko left it to him OFF SCREEN. Which is fine (but not really) as the time to use this egg is soon anyway. Dōmeki seems to be in shocked over how/why he is supposed to use said egg. And black Mokona once again says the phrase since nothing can be born from that egg it can only be used ONCE. To me that means that it will not be reborn/reincarnated like other things are in this universe. Like how clone Sakura and clone Syaoran were able to take the place of whoever the hell real Syaoran's parents were. This egg won't have a chance to be reborn in this crazy repeating circle so Dōmeki has to use it wisely or else the cycle will repeat again and without this special egg.
Holy crap serious Dōmeki.
Dōmeki....showing expression? Sadness?! Remorse? Regret for what he has to do? Whatever the emotion is Dōmeki is clearly conflicted and knows his decision will probably make a bunch of people unhappy...or just make Watanuki miserable. YAY FOR CHOICES!
Who the hell are you?!
Before Dōmeki can get too sad about this situation BAM more drama. Both Syaorans appear before Watanuki and this frightens Dōmeki. He has never seen either man before and if creepy twins are going to start harassing his boy....I mean friend he isn't going to take it lying down. It really doesn't help that black Mokona tells Dōmeki that Watanuki has made his choice and it gets all dramatic like. RUN TO HIM! Oh and black Mokona says that since everyone has made their choices they will all be happy in the end. Yeah, happiness in CLAMP my ass.
Apparently the moment of truth.
OH SNAP!
Chapter 185 starts off with a bang...so to speak. Watanuki has decided...TO PUT ON HIS GLASSES! Why that might seem like something very....boring to everyone else everything in CLAMP happens for a reason. Then he puts on the robe and BAM doesn't he look like Clow Reed?!
The very reason he came to the shop was to stop seeing spirits...and out the window that goes.
Watanuki explains to a confused Dōmeki what is going on. Yes Yuko is dead. But that doesn't matter to Watanuki. He is going to wait in this shop until the end of his time until he can see Yuko again. And this all makes sense to Watanuki. ALL OF IT! X_X
Or the circle can keep on repeating.....
Watanuki....were you not listening to Yuko when she was telling you about wishes and how they were powerful? How this entire thing started because SOMEONE wishes to see her one more time? DOES THIS SITUATION SOUND VERY FAMILIAR TO YOU?! No, no it doesn't? Oh okay. Just that Watanuki is taking over the role of Clow Reed is just a coincidence. PAY NO ATTENTION TO WATANUKI BEING CLOW REED (even if that really screws with your mind. Watanuki is the cloned "son" of the cloned Syaoran who is a descendant of Clow Reed and the cloned "son" of cloned Sakura whose father was Clow Reed. Stop thinking so much...)
How can he grant wishes?!
Dōmeki is almost down for this plan. Or maybe he is just saying okay to this plan to make a sad Watanuki a little bit happier. Until Watanuki tells Dōmeki about this plan to wait for Yuko. He is going to watch the shop and wait for Yuko...forever. His price is whatever time he has left on this "earth" and his price will be to NEVER LEAVE THE HOUSE AGAIN. And Dōmeki is not down with that. Because he loves Watanuki. But that is besides the point. It is because this plan is made of FAIL!
ABORT ABORT!
Yeah...it looks like Watanuki isn't too thrilled with his plan. Or knows that Dōmeki is about to be pissed with sad awful plan. Dōmeki doesn't get AS angry as I thought he was going to be. It is almost like he can sense the sadness in Watanuki and nothing he says is going to talk him out of this idea. Even if this is a really bad plan and goes against what Yuko said to do. LIVE. All she wanted you to do was to keep on existing. Living in halted time is not living. You are not fulfilling her wish thus you are a bad person and how dare you be sad and wait for Yuko! :( But seriously...this is a screwed up situation no matter what.
The walk off.
So after Watanuki explains his fail plan to Dōmeki he leaves the room dramatically. Part of me wonders why Watanuki even told Dōmeki. It's not like Dōmeki has any say in the matter or Watanuki even likes Dōmeki right? RIGHT? hehe XD But putting aside that...Dōmeki is not pleased. His "friend" is going to give up the rest of his life to see a woman one more time? What good will come of that? How will that make anyone happy? Oh wait I have this egg....
WHAT IS GOING ON?!
X_X Seriously. What the hell. Dōmeki has heard this fail plan and understands that choice that Watanuki has made. He was told once Watanuki made his decision it would be time to use that magical egg. But now that the choice has been made Dōmeki seems conflicted. It is like he has a decision on WHO he can use it on. But who else is there to use it on?! Isn't only Watanuki the only one left to use said not so magical egg on? Why is he hesitating?! Surely Yuko wouldn't give him an egg that would make Watanuki unhappy.
Or or...the egg is for Dōmeki to use on himself?
Because Dōmeki is really Fei Wong Reed?! HOLY CRAP?! X_X Fei Wong Reed wants to bring back Yuko but he seems to hate her. He never refers to her by her name and almost says Witch with contempt. It has been stated he is trying to fulfill a wish to bring someone back and Dōmeki doesn't know Clow Reed. He is trying to save Watanuki from being stuck in that shop for all of time. HOLY SHIT!!! X_X
So that is my theory. It has nothing to do with the egg since I don't know what the egg does. But we can assume that Dōmeki didn't have this egg in the previous cycle or that Dōmeki is taking the place of Fei Wong Reed, like the two clones becoming parents of real Syaoran's parents. But Dōmeki will become Fei Wong Reed if he chooses to help Watanuki out and try to bring back Yuko. I am really not sure how Watanuki fits in with this plan but I still think that Dōmeki has something to do with why Fei Wong Reed was flipping out in the last Tsubasa chapter.
But just maybe this egg has the power to make someone forget. And Dōmeki doesn't want to make Watanuki forget his wish. Maybe Dōmeki will use it to forget his own wish, which will end up being "Get Yuko back". Even though we think it will make Watanuki miserable it is his wish to wait for Yuko. Dōmeki doesn't want to take that away from Watanuki. But if Dōmeki makes himself forget all this mess he will never turn into Fei Wong Reed and destroy the universe. Fei Wong Reed may be mad as Dōmeki has decided not to pursue getting Yuko back thus getting rid of her existence entirely. This of course makes no sense at all and makes for a very sad ending of XXXholics.

Of course there is always the obvious DUR why do Clow Reed and Fei Wong Reed have the same last name? Or why Fei Wong Reed had so many dark haired clones hanging around him. Was he trying to clone Yuko to save Watanuki? We know Fei Wong Reed doesn't care about Yuko or is pissed off at the situation she has put them in so that explains the hostility he always has when referring to Yuko. But I really don't want Dōmeki to kill the entire universe and mess everything up just to save Watanuki, no matter how much I want to pair them together. I don't want Fei Wong Reed to be Dōmeki because then...he won't be with Watanuki anyway! But as it stands I think the Tsubasa gang has a better chance at happiness than the XXXholic people. Me thinks that no matter what Dōmeki and Wananuki will not end up together. :( So now we wait...hopefully not weeks because I don't think my heart can take it. But we wait. Wait and see how much more things can get messed up before someone can get their "happy ending".
