Dramatical Murder episode 7

Le sigh folks. Le sign indeed. If I was behind before all snuggled on the couch what is going to happen now with this odd desktop and weird updated programs? I literally had to wait for my husband to come home to understand why paint is different on this computer. Why is there change?! Why can't things be exactly how I want them to be so my life is predictable and easy?

Spoiler alert. Koujaku hates lamps!
While I whine about life have some anime posts. It is weird sharing a computer with someone again. Something about being fair and what not? Gosh do they want me to go outside and play!? Up now is Dramatical Murder episode 7. Spoilers for an actual death ya'll!
 photo dramaticalmurderepisode713_zpsba500c16.png
Oh snap, that sounds hot Aoba.
Episode Summary: Baby Aoba is swinging on a swing crying his chibi eyes out. Koujaku is pushing him and tell him not to cry, that Grams will be off work soon. Aoba tries to tell him he is not crying with tears in his eyes. Eventually Koujaku agrees because Aoba is so cute. Koujaku tells Aoba to never lose (losing=tears) and to be strong for their Grams and Mom. That they need to always try for those ladies. Aoba smiles and tells Koujaku to not lose either. Back in the present Koujaku is giving Aoba the eye for attempting to go to Platinum Jail alone. Aoba pretends to apologize and Koujaku is like remember we are “friends” forever. They enter the...entrance to said Platinum Jail and are greeted by a computer avatar asking for their invites. They had them over and Koujaku NOW thinks the situation is sketchy. They enter the amusement park as I roll my eyes and they are greeted by fancy people looking out of it in their weird clothes. Before they can even walk 5 feet Toue appears over all the screens/poof screens to tell everyone how lovely it is to have them at his park and he hopes to continue to make them happy. It is coming up on 10 years since he built this place and there will be something super special coming up to celebrate this occasion. For now have some fireworks. Everyone watches the tiny explosions in the sky all high like a kite. Aoba realizes what is happening (brainwashing) and Ren confirms it. Koujaku seems to be under the spell and Aoba gets him out of the area before anything bad can happen. Koujaku seems super upset that he was taken in so fast but Aoba reminds him it is Toue and his brainwashing self. Before they can decide what to do next (not that they had a plan to begin with) Koujaku seems some blond with skulls around his neck enter a building. Koujaku freaks out and chases after the dude. Aoba is like wait for me....stands there for a while....oh and then chases after Koujaku. Koujaku seems to have entered a club like place and once again all the people are looking coked out as they dance the same around the room. They stare at Aoba like he is the different one. Aoba starts to feel a little woozy and Ren realizes that he is slowly being drugged. Aoba tries to make it out of the place but succumbs to the air and falls on the blond hair skull wearing man. When Aoba wakes up he is on his stomach with his back partial exposed. Aoba is super used to be kidnapped by now and waits for his capture to talk to him. The man is named Ryuho and is a tattoo artist. He asks how Mizuki is doing which pisses Aoba off. The kid must be full of drugs though as he makes no effort to move. Ryuho seems to know that Aoba is special but maybe not understanding how special. Aoba focuses on the tattoo part of Ryuho's evilness so that makes Ryuho bring out the creepy factor. He starts talking about how he puts his soul into tattooing and flowers and what not. Basically it is sounding like the worse kind of tattooing ever and Ryuho gets off on the pain. He is going to do something bad to Aoba and out comes to the needle.

Best pairing I bet of this series. GO KOUJAKU!
Before anything happens Koujaku runs in and starts screaming at Ryuho to stop. Wait you know him? Koujaku gestures his face and implies that all the tattoos on him or some of them anyway were doing by Ryuho against his will. Ryuho says that Koujaku was his greatest project and asks if Aoba knows Koujaku is a mom killer. Aoba is like X___x and Koujaku gets more and more upset. He takes off some of his upper clothes and reveals another series of tattoos that seems to glow as Koujaku gets angry. Apparently Ryuho did this, made it so that Koujaku would get taken over during rage moments. Ryuho continues to egg Koujaku on with the dead momma talk and Koujaku slices through the man. Ryuho is happy the experiment is now complete as Koujaku totally loses himself to crazy land and has devil eyes. He starts to attack Aoba who can move by now and kills all the furniture in the room including a lamp that catches things on fire. Aoba is shocked that Koujaku has lost it when Scrap Aoba is like...you know the only way to save him right? Aoba decides that this is the best idea ever and Aoba informs Koujaku he is going into his brain. WHOOSH Aoba is in Koujaku's brain. He is in an old fashion house with tattoos that are on the ground chasing him. He keeps running in and out of the same room as he hears Koujaku moaning in pain. He finally finds Koujaku shirtless laying on the ground covered in blood. Aoba sees people getting sliced and diced outside as Koujaku is covered in the scary evil tattoos. Ryuho's shadow appears and starts talking about how he did this to Koujaku and blah blah. Aoba fights to get Koujaku free from the tattoos and to get him out of the place when Koujaku all better appears to tell his sad tale. He did live with Aoba on the island. Up until his father requested him and his mistress come to the main house as the wife couldn't have kids. Koujaku was forced to get a tattoo as the next head of the house and the pain was unbearable. Koujaku tried to endure for his mother but during the last session he passed out and woke up with a bloody sword in hand and everyone in the house dead. Koujaku tried to kill himself but eventually thought of Aoba and came back to the island. Koujaku still feels controlled by the tattoos and doesn't know why he goes on. He looks beyond upset. Aoba tells him that he will just have to live with what he has done and not lose. Don't leave him behind. Koujaku thinks back to baby Aoba says as they are both covered in the mean tattoos. Suddenly everything is okay now that Koujaku has Aoba. Aoba wakes up in the burning down room with Koujaku okay enough to carry the kid out. Ryuho lives long enough to call Toue and tell him the experiment was a success. He then dies alone in an alley. Koujaku gets Aoba to an inn where Aoba is laid on the couch and they both look at each other very romantic like. Koujaku will get through this with Aoba and Aoba cares for his friend forever. They then...don't have sex which is a sad panda experience. Later that night Aoba wakes up and realizes someone is in the inn with them. He looks all suspicious but the hat sorta gives it away. THE END!

Um could we not forget about me next time? Thanks.
I was going to write about how confusing this episode, to make reference to how will there be sense making on this sense making tour (Jurassic Park style)? Going on and on about how I am confused and this sucks blah blah.
 photo dramaticalmurderepisode7_zps1a4eefc3.png
MOG THIS FACE! I can't even!
But then I saw baby Aoba and my head exploded into a million pieces. I am pretty sure that is the point. Like oh snap I can't make a good point on something have a cute baby kitten picture. That is how I feel about over the top Chibi Aoba. Don't pay attention to the crazy plot behind the current. Look at Aoba and his adorable self (in different clothes I think!) crying and swinging on a swing. And this will only happen with Koujaku. We might see more baby Aoba later as he played Rhyme and that game hasn't been around forever and Platinum Jail showed up 10 years ago. So maybe when Koujaku left the island to do his horrible thing Aoba had the Rhyme attack. So we might see more of baby Aoba then. For now we get a nice memory of Aoba and Koujaku. Aoba missed his Grams and Koujaku being the older of the children took care of Aoba. Told him not to lose. This sounds strangely like boys don't cry but it made Aoba smile so that's all that matters.
 photo dramaticalmurderepisode73_zpsbc525b44.png
I think it has been from the start but okay...
Then poof folks. Really it was POOF Koujaku is yelling at Aoba in front of Platinum Jail. Um last I saw Aoba was running from the cops. The crazy cops of insanity. While I can appreciate an anime trying to fast forward through boring parts...I am pretty sure this was important. Like Aoba just jumped on the roofs and POOF he was there at the entrance of Platinum Jail. This super exclusive area that you need an invite to get into. I saw that once inside there was a gate keeper checking for tickets but what about the outside? I mean I guess they don't want things to look super sketchy....more than they already are. But yeah some real people guarding the gates would be nice, especially if they want to keep out the rift-raft from the old town. Plus the whole Koujaku and Aoba happen to get there at the same time magical moment. I thought we were going to see EVERYONE making it there and meeting up. But when it is just Aoba and Koujaku it seems off. Like woohoo we ran and avoided the POPO and here we are. I like how Koujaku wants to yell at Aoba for going alone. Like dude what were you going to do, go in Platinum Jail by yourself? Silly man.
 photo dramaticalmurderepisode74_zps098c2162.png
Please hold as we load our brainwashing program.
Once we got the glares at Aoba out of the way it was time to give up the invitations and go in. I like how the avatar greeting was the sketchy part to Koujaku, not the fact that they got invites after learning that Toue is a super evil genius. Then it is time for...Platinum Jail! Since this show is light on details and heavy on confusion I have been back and forth what I thought Platinum Jail was. At first I thought it was an amusement park. Then when I saw the inside of it for a few minutes I thought it was a super amazing place to live...and get brainwashed. Now it is back to amusement park....for extend stays. Like staying at Disney World and there are hotels nearby. These people are just...there forever because things are super shady there. Literally the minute Aoba and Koujaku enter the joint a message plays for everyone to see and hear. Since everyone looks high as a kite ( a different high from Mizuki last episode though) they look on to get their daily dose of brainwashing. Like look it is the 10th anniversary of Platinum Jail, have some pre celebration fireworks. Even though Aoba and Koujaku just got there Koujaku was already under the spell of whatever is going on. Guess you don't need to be experimented on for this to take affect. Ren kept Aoba in check and together they get Koujaku out of the area as he was starting to feel a little woozy.
 photo dramaticalmurderepisode75_zps350db95d.png
Thanks for sticking together there Koujaku....Great plan.
Koujaku thanks Aoba for keeping him from being brainwashed. See maybe if they didn't run to Platinum Jail with no plan they could have been better equipped for such a situation. But no now they are going to have to sleep in shifts. Not that is betters as they were invited by the crazy man. To pay Aoba back for helping him out Koujaku immediately runs off to get into more danger. He recognizes someone and just takes off. Aoba...why did you pause so long before you went after him. Like seriously folks what is wrong with this kid?! Also I need to add that this person is not Noiz. When I first started watching this show Mizuki was all woohoo this famous tattoo person and this guy LOOKED like Noiz. I thought he was leaving a double life without all the piercings and what not. Piercings and tattoos go hand in hand sometimes. So I thought they were the same person and blah blah. Clearly that is not the case.
 photo dramaticalmurderepisode76_zps1632a508.png
I am sure he fell on someone super helpful.
Aoba loses track of Koujaku after that 5 second period of breakage. So by the time Aoba gets into the club Koujaku is long gone. A room full of drugged out people who love Platinum Jail and think Aoba looks funny. I wonder how they knew he was different. Because of the way he was dressed? If Toue is controlling everyone and doing brainwashing crap. Maybe he can control people in such a way he can see through their eyes and what not. Slither that movie yes? Aoba doesn't really get a chance to look for Koujaku as almost he is almost immediately taken over by the drugs that are filling the room. Ren seems to have noticed it right away as well but he really didn't have a chance to help Aoba. He is a rather small dog. So Toue is experimenting with all sorts of drugs. Mind control and breathing in drugs. Soon we will find out another way Toue is trying to control people but first Aoba has to pass out on the man wearing skulls for necklaces. Surely he will be a good guy that will help out right?
 photo dramaticalmurderepisode79_zpse8302ed6.png
Do these magical tattoos cost more or something?
Wrong. Of course that is wrongo. Aoba wakes up with his shirt pulled up which immediately got this blogger worried about all the pictures she saw on the internets. Oh crap is Aoba about to have really bad things happen to him. Well the not Noiz man turns out to be a tattoo artist named Ryuho. And he is not a good person. Duh right? Instead of wanting to be part of Aoba's harem Ryuho wants to tattoo some crap on Aoba because he is creepy and evil. Plus there seems to be a brainwashing technique that involves tattoos. It is not explained much and I doubt much is on the way since this episode seems to nicely end the saga that is Koujaku and his tattoos. But yeah....Ryuho went on and on about his tattoos and how they are flowers and skin is flowers and blah. He said a lot of things and the basic message was just be scared of me because I am creepy.
 photo dramaticalmurderepisode78_zps5c3db719.png
Stop molesting my Aoba!
Enter to the Koujaku. I have no idea how the man found Aoba and Creepy but he did. Since Koujaku was easily brainwashed before how was he able to fight it off in the club to find Aoba in a place he has never been before? Because anime magic. Koujaku is already hot and heavy because he knew the dude but now Aoba is danger. Super man. I am not sure if this Ryuho did all the tattoos on Koujaku. I would think not since Mizuki is a tattoo person and Koujaku was acting like that man did some for him. But if Koujaku did suffer like he did would he really want another tattoo willingly? Probably not. But it makes sense why Koujaku covers up part of his face. So how did this all come about? Why did Koujaku throw away their nonexistent plan to take down Toue to get revenge on this guy? I am thinking that tattoo thing was bad enough but now there is talk about a dead mom? What is going on here?
 photo dramaticalmurderepisode710_zpsd02fc76c.png
And what exactly did you win here buddy?
Aoba and his sense of danger sorta just watches this all go down. Watches the tattoos glow on Koujaku. Like um what trickery is this? Why are you glowing? Can someone explain this to me? I guess since he has a special power suddenly appearing tattoos that glow doesn't seem totally out of the realm of possibilities. Like oh okay Toue can make tattoos glow and control people now. Ryuho kept taunting Koujaku about the dead mom and losing control until the point where Koujaku lost control. Ryuho you win! And guess what your prize is? A fatal wound to the gut. GO YOU! This went exactly as planned. No seriously I think he said that. Koujaku then turns into a rabbit looking raccoon and attacks the entire room because it was looking at him funny. EFF YOU LAMP! Koujaku must have really lost his mind because he attacked he lovely Aoba too. Good thing the kid found the energy to move this time or he would have a nice prize as well.
 photo dramaticalmurderepisode712_zps36a25bfe.png
Do you not see his evil smirk? Stop listening to him!
As Koujaku redecorated the room with his sword Aoba had a conversation with himself. Since he has not used his Scrap power in so long it has developed its own personality and talks to in control Aoba. So that means he is not crazy when he talks to himself I suppose. Scrap Aoba is like look at Koujaku, he is out of control. The only way to save him is to use Scrap. I like how Aoba doesn't even think twice about it. Like Grams told me that Mizuki is a vegetable and it's my fault because I didn't use my powers that I didn't know I had correctly. Surely this time will turn out differently due to all the practice with my powers I have had in the 2 hours since Grams told me I had them. Yeah folks..Aoba just dove into Koujaku's brain. At some point I am sure they will make it to Toue's and take him out but for now I think it is going to be an episode about one of the harem men and Aoba using Scrap to save them. Or not save them and LALA rape time.
 photo dramaticalmurderepisode714_zps75588d24.png
Not the best idea Aoba has ever had....
Aoba enters Koujaku's mind and it has a certain level of creep factor to it. Obviously all these brains are going to be like this from now on. Koujaku's are not being able to be found in a big empty house and killer tattoos that try to take over a person. Aoba has to avoid both to find Koujaku laying in a pool of his own blood while people are being killed outside. Super fun times I am sure. Aoba seems to not take action in these dreams. Like run over to Koujaku and hug him. Throw up over all the blood. Get pissed when Ryuho is all HAHA I did this to Koujaku and he is a killer. Look at the tattoos I gave him HAHAHA! Koujaku is nearly overtaken by tattoos but Aoba is there to rip them off even though it causes damage to himself too. Anything for a friend.
 photo dramaticalmurderepisode715_zps1caa7355.png
Super brainwashing tattoos I see. X___X
Eventually Koujaku is freed enough to explain his sad story to Aoba. Which is slightly longer than the sad story that Mizuki told him. Koujaku's mom was a mistress. Seems to be common theme in animes. Mom lived with Koujaku on the island and probably would have stayed that way if his dad's wife was able to have kids. But she wasn't so Koujaku and mom were brought to the mainland to the main house so all the main people could be unhappy. Like look at how horrible the situation is YAY MENZ! Dad was like...you know what would make this even worse....if I made my young son get a tattoo. It is hard to tell what age this happened to Koujaku. We know that he spent some time away from Aoba as he didn't know Aoba was friends with Virus and Trip and this Rhyme game that Aoba apparently played. But it looked like Koujaku was a bit more adultist before he was forced into this fun role of tattoo land. Like really Koujaku...I would have just run away with mom in the middle of the night. This dude is a douchebag your dad.
 photo dramaticalmurderepisode717_zps7bfcb994.png
Aoba tells him not to cry and POOF it is all better. I see now.
So I am not sure if the dad knew about what the tattoos really do. I would assume not since all of the men in his family have them. But this man Ryuho was working with Toue to make brainwashing tattoos and of course it was in their grand plan to randomly brainwash Koujaku. Because folks. Maybe they wanted this family out of the way. The point is Koujaku was taken over by rage and pain and when he woke up all were dead including his mother. And Koujaku has been living with this horrible truth ever since. Did Aoba really not ask his friend all this time about his mom? Like hey how is your mom doing on the mainland? What happened with your dad? Apparently not. You bad friend Aoba. Now...Aoba hears this all and agrees it is terrible. But he doesn't tell Koujaku it isn't his fault. X___X Yeah that never comes up. Aoba is like well you need to live with this and think of me, you can't just die. Remember our promise when we were cute little kids? Don't lose. Don't let this defeat you. :( I wish Aoba would have said this wasn't Koujaku's fault and focused more on how horrible this was. Aoba's weak words were enough to heal Koujaku which I guess is all that matters.
 photo dramaticalmurderepisode719_zpsdd9462e5.png
.......No kisses? I feel so robbed/
POOF! Aoba is awake and not looking so hot. Good think Koujaku has recovered enough from his crazy moment to drag Aoba out of the burning building. I was going to have a heart attack or scream at the computer when I heard no mention of Ren but there the little dog was carrying the bag and Aoba's puffy coat. Out the boys go into a place they don't know. I know they were invited to Platinum Jail but what form of money do they have? Or is this invite all inclusive? In any event they are at an inn and taking turns looking at each other and making sure they are okay from the awful things they went through. I notice that Koujaku really didn't ask about Aoba being in his mind. Like um dude how were you able to do that because don't do it again. Instead Koujaku took care of Aoba like he always has and it was full of lovely dovey time. Minus the actual act of lovely dovey.
 photo dramaticalmurderepisode720_zps0310cf40.png
Stupid Lappy and all my downloads lost. :( But yeah that is Noiz ya'll.
And that is about it for our current (well my current) episode of DRAMAtical Murder. We do see Ryuho die and I am sure no one cares about that. He lives long enough to tell Toue everything worked out perfectly. Because I am sure dying was in his plans. Noiz seems to have made it to Platinum Jail as Aoba finds him in the inn. And Toue is twisting his hands and go aha everything is going according to plan. I predict this plan will be full of fail. Out of Aoba's harem Koujaku is looking like the cuteness option so hopefully it works out that way. But since there was no kiss this episode and Noiz already stole one maybe I shouldn't get my hopes up right?

Love Stage episode 8

Super glad this episode and DRAMAtical murder episode 7 were already on the blog waiting to get published and not lost in cyber space. X__X That would have been upsetting given how far behind I am already. I have priorities in life clearly people. Once I knew all my Disney pics were saved I went all NOOOOOO about the blog. XD Maybe this will be a sign....to get things done as fast as possible because technology can't be trusted. Maybe. Who knows with me. Thank you Love Stage episode 8 for being protected. I would like to point out my Lappy downloaded Love Stage episode 9...and then died. I SEE HOW IT IS!
 photo lovestageepisode82_zps0fcf4538.jpg
I am sure Izumi is used to being in the shadows. Probably wants to go back to them....
So Love Stage episode 8. Almost one big recappy episode. Maybe that is why I have very few screenies of this episode since it was all the same crap from before. If you are tight on time just watch the last three minutes of this episode. Or ready my post. XD Because you know...that is why I am here. XD

Rei will cut a bitch. Into tiny little pieces!
Episode Summary: It is finally the day of the press conference....or so a narrator tells us. Rei is on stage introducing Ryouma to the crowd despite him not being the one in charge of Ryouma's agency. Ryouma seems to be the star of the show but in the wings Izumi waits in the wings. He is dressed in his Happy Wedding outfit and trying not to be nervous for his debut. The narrator tells us that Izumi comes from a super showbiz family so this is the natural course of things...even if it took a while. Two days before all of this took place Izumi was having a moment in his room. He can't be in love with Ryouma. Why would he say that to himself after the kiss? Is this really a BL manga after all? Izumi tries to convince himself he has LalaLulu and can't be in love with a man. This doesn't seem to hold water as Izumi squeals when he gets a text message from Ryouma. He throws a fit and his parents and Rei in the dining room are like.....is he having a moment? Oh well he will get over it. Rei seems to think the boy is worried about his showbiz debut. This debut was probably supposed to happen years ago but when Izumi filled in during his mother's commercial he sorta got way too nervous and peed himself, traumatizing him from attempting anything in showbiz again. Even though he has a super showbiz family he sorta got left in the dust. The parents march off to play golf and Izumi emerges from upstairs long enough to tell Rei he doesn't want to do the debut after all. Rei tries pointing out Izumi agreed to this and he has to go through it. Rei decides to show Izumi a tape explaining why he is the way he is. I mean...everyone else is famous and super. Why isn't Izumi? Well maybe Izumi is an otaku shut in because Shougo spoiled him his entire life. The family must have walked around with a video camera taping every single one of these moments. Shougo in his studio complaining that he isn't the only one who spoiled Izumi his entire life. Flashbacks show Izumi coming home from school one day and Rei basically waiting on him hand and foot. Izumi also told Ryouma recently how Rei acted like a second mother to him on the ride back to his house after running away. He goes on and on about what Rei does for him. Izumi seems to think that this protectiveness started when he was 9 and went off with a stranger than had candy. A younger Rei came out of nowhere and beat the man silly for trying to steal the family's Izumi. Ryouma slowly starts to realize if he wants to date Izumi he needs to please this man too. So yeah...Izumi's growth has been stunted.
 photo lovestageepisode812_zps8517ec14.jpg
Guess Rei didn't always use to be so clean cut.
The next day, the day before the debut Izumi is still having doubts and Rei is walking around the city. Earlier in the day (or week) Rei met with the President of Ryouma's agency. Despite the press conference also being about Ryouma Rei wants to be the emcee as he thinks it will help Izumi deal with the stress. The President is okay with these and the two men take turns thanking each other for getting out of this mess. President offers Ryouma a job at his agency as there is no room to grow at Father's. Rei respectful says no and leaves. President is okay with that because it makes Rei all the more valuable. As Rei is walking away from this encounter he passes a street and has some memories. Apparently something bad happened to him when he was around 18 years old and he was left all beat up in the alley. Everyone passed him by but a younger Father who took him in. Now all these years later Father is telling Rei that they need to get Izumi to spread his wings and fly, that he has great potential. Rei relays to Izumi that his father really believes in him which makes Izumi pumped and full of love. He can this! The day of the press conference arrives as well as the magazine release of Ryouma and the mystery girl. Everyone is jealous and what not of this girl and the press is eating it all up. Izumi sees all this attention and loses his cool on going through with this. Rei is banging on the door demanding that Izumi go through with it. Ryouma sending a text saying he is waiting on the boy makes Izumi brave enough to walk out the door. For some reason the parents don't go with Izumi and Rei to the hotel. Ryouma is already waiting there with the glam squad and his manager. Rei and Izumi arrive with Shougo in tow. Izumi is being nervous so Ryouma checks his temperature via forehead. This leads to Shougo and Ryouma having a pissing contest while Izumi is taken away to become a pretty girl. Izumi comes out looking adorable and Shougo and Ryouma almost fight again but decide to join forces to help Izumi out. While waiting to go on stage Izumi starts to get super nervous again. Since Ryouma no longer has his good luck charm...he kisses Izumi instead. XD And he offers up more kisses in the future if Izumi needs more good luck. Ryouma goes on stage and Izumi realizes his heart is beating fast for different reasons now. The narrator informs us this is the start of a new life for Izumi. Rei introduces Ryouma first on stage and he apologizes for all the commotion he has caused recently. He would like to explain his relationship with the person they saw in the magazine. Ryouma seems to falter a bit but Rei gets Izumi introduced and on stage in the wedding dress. Everyone is like MOG Happy Wedding girl you must be engaged right?! Ryouma says they are just friends and no one believes them. So Izumi rips off his clothes and reveals he is a boy. Shougo joins the stage and says that TADA this is his little brother and his show biz debut. It is flashing lights time for Izumi. THE END!
 photo lovestageepisode815_zps73317729.jpg
But first...lets recap how Izumi came to be.
Hmmmm.....this episode was super odd. Isn't this series really short? Well season anyway. Like 10 episodes? So why are we wasting our time on a half recappy kind of episode? Ain't nobody got time for that. Maybe since the manga is ongoing we do have time for that? Especially if we are going to stretch this out to another season. I don't know, it just felt super odd to me.
 photo lovestageepisode83_zps23914dff.jpg
Because I might have forgotten...
Maybe because of how it was narrated. Instead of just showing the recaps and allowing the other characters tell us all the recappy stuff we have these random voices telling us what is going on. In a very dramatic fashion. Like let us tell you the dramatic story of Izumi, the boy who lived...and fell in love with Ryouma. I don't know, it just felt odd. Maybe that was the point, to poke fun at recappy episodes and to build this all up? The thing is....we saw the end of the episode at the beginning and Izumi being all nervous wasn't all that dramatic. More like expected. Just.....a bit off the norm and it made everything seems silly, forced, and odd. But I guess something different is always good right?
 photo lovestageepisode86_zps712b51c6.jpg
Oh that Izumi...so crazy...
While Izumi's debut is quickly approaching (or already here) Izumi has other concerns going on in his head. Can't really blame the boy. Just a short week ago Ryouma was scaring the crap out of him on his own couch. Now Ryouma is helping him with his manga, hiding him from real life, and giving out romantic kisses that will stop at kisses unless Izumi really wants it. And this time...Izumi felt something. Unlike the other two times where he was crying his eyes out and hating the world. Ryouma kissed him and informed him that they are not siblings. Ryouma loves Izumi. And Izumi felt something inside of him that might be love. Love? Is this a Boy Love manga after all?! But what about his unhealthy obsession with LalaLulu?! That has to count for something right? He doesn't like boys at all. Just girls. All is well in the world. So when Ryouma texts Izumi and a smile hits his face with a little squeal....yeah denial folks. Denial.
 photo lovestageepisode84_zps1f478b23.jpg
Izumi is a little slow on the uptake.
Izumi screams in frustration as he kissed a boy and liked it. His parents and Rei overhear the boy as they go about their day and go...yeah that is just Izumi freaking out again. He must be worried for his show biz debut that is a long time coming for this family. This leads to a walk down memory lane and a reminder that Izumi is from a super famous show biz family. I think Izumi gets it by now. Everyone in his family is famous but him. I would argue that probably has to do with why Izumi is the way he is. Yes the other things they talked about later have something to do with it too but when you are born into a super star family things usually go two ways. You either want to bask in the spot light as well or hide away from it all in the darkness. So everyone being so talented and successful probably played a part in why Izumi is the way he is. Because no matter what he is wearing he is adorable. Just...you know the shut in aspect of Izumi. So thanks for reminding us again how famous everyone really is.
 photo lovestageepisode87_zpsa6424117.jpg
Maybe Izumi wanted to be where he was?
After the parents leave for golf (because why would they parent their own kid when Rei is on their pay roll) Izumi comes downstairs and is like I really can't do this Rei, please don't make me do this debut thing. Well Izumi....you made this silly promise that if you awful manga flopped you would agree to make your entertainment debut. Because you have enough talent to smile in a commercial. I would be super nervous too but whatevers. Rei is like um no. Mainly because he already promised. I do think that this is rather special and full of anime magic as Izumi could flop and that would make the family look bad wouldn't it? Like oh no that black sheep has tainted the entire family. So yeah insisting that Izumi has this debut seems to be the focus of all. There will be a time after the debut where Izumi will have to do actual work. He might get some jobs based on his family connections alone which I am sure will make Ryouma super happy but then he will have to shine on his own. Without a good luck charm.
 photo lovestageepisode88_zps962e9595.jpg
Too cute for words!
The best way to make Izumi go through with the debut is to apparently show him a home video of how everyone in his life is a contributor to why he is a shut in otaku. Yeah I am not sure how that helps. Maybe like hey Izumi don't feel bad about being this way...we did this to you. Also we are going to overlook the fact that people were running around taping these seemingly boring and not tape worthy moments. Well maybe not the Shougo ones. Izumi was pretty adorable when he was a kid so I can see the parents taping him all the time. Most of the blame seems to be given to Shougo and it seems obvious why. I think it would be more obvious if Izumi was a giant baby unable to do anything for himself (like...oh house work) than a shut in but you know. Shougo was such a doting brother. I will eat all your veggies and buy you ice cream and do your homework. All so cute. So it was stuff we already knew but expanded with new adorable scenes of baby Izumi cuteness.
 photo lovestageepisode85_zpsd669d336.jpg
Rei, can you bring me some tea? I have some major squeeing to do and can't be bothered to get my own.
Despite the fact that Rei was telling/showing this to Izumi about Shougo...apparently he needs to be watching where the fingers are pointed. Because there are going to be some fingers pointed back at him. Shougo sorta....dots on his little brother to the point of overload. Like whatever you want I will give you. It appears that Rei is doing the same thing too but in a different sense. Rei does everything for the boy. Izumi comes home from school and Rei is immediately on him. You need some snacks? A back rub? Your bath is drawn. Here let me get you your slippers. Yeah...Rei does every little thing for Izumi and Shougo gives him whatever he wants. Sounds like Izumi should be a lot more spoiled than he is. At least the kid goes to school!
 photo lovestageepisode810_zpsfd703e28.jpg
But I want Izumi kisses, not insane Ryouma!
This all transitions into a funny flashback between Izumi and Ryouma. You know from the other day when Izumi decided he wanted to come back home and not run away anymore at Ryouma. I guess Izumi was talking about how he was scared of Rei. How apologizing to Rei was going to be scary. This lead Ryouma who wants to actually be apart of Izumi's family to ask questions. Instead of sounding scary Rei ended up sounding like a helicopter parent. He does everything for me indeed. Ryouma seemed to not understand the point. Izumi thinks that Rei became over the top protective because once a stranger gave him candy and he was almost kidnapped. Oh Izumi.....candy is so lovely but don't go off with strangers because of it. I am going to assume that Rei was new to this assistant gig and was still a little rough around the edges. Because he came out of nowhere and manhandled that kidnapper. Don't touch my Izumi no matter what!!! So now Ryouma dreams of getting with Izumi are being smashed into ground even more. He has to convince Izumi...he is a lover not a rapist. He has to convince Shougo not to bash his head in for kissing cute little brother. And now he has to convince Rei to not channel his younger self and beat Ryouma silly. So Ryouma is all nervous while present day Izumi is like see Rei you are a scary person too.
 photo lovestageepisode811_zpsa599279f.jpg
Stare at me all you want, I ain't joining you.
But Rei is also loyal. Super loyal. And there seems to be a reason behind this loyalness. I am going to guess when Rei was a younger person, a teenager, he was in with a bad crowd. Maybe he didn't even graduate high school or he did and became a bum. Someone a bit dodging. He got into fights all the time and he seemed to have given up on life. Suddenly Izumi's dad found him and I am going to also assume took him in. Come live with us and we will take care of you if you do a few things for us. Rei was probably in shock such a famous family wanted him. And while Shougo is a bit...out there baby Izumi was too cute to not to help. So this fast forwards to Rei talking to the President of Rei's company. They are working together for this press conference even though it is really is only Ryouma's issue. Rei wants to help make Izumi less nervous and both guys are like many thanks for doing me a favor when in reality the other party is gaining from this as well. President seems a lot calmer today, not when he was losing his crap all over Ryouma. He seems to want Rei to work for the company, impressed by his work to deal with these crazy situations and turn them into positives. This all probably sounds good to anyone else in Japan, moving to a bigger company. But Rei has memories and loyalty with this family and he isn't going nowhere.

Finally it is the day of the press conference. The reason this press conference is going on is because the magazine is releasing pics of Ryouma and Izumi. Talking. In the park. It must be a really slow news day in Japan because this isn't even interesting. Call me when Ryouma is leaving a love hotel with a half naked girl. But yeah the magazine is released and everyone loses their mind. Who is this mystery girl?! Why isn't he with me? Why does this pretty girl look exactly like a boy? The President is enjoying this attention and probably wants it to be bigger and better. His Assistant calms him down and things keep on trucking. Ryouma is slightly nervous but gets his happy but to the hotel to wait for his lovely Izumi. All is going well.

Except Izumi gets nervous. Of course Izumi got nervous. Was someone expecting it to go a different way? He woke up that morning and realized what a big deal it was because nothing else was going on in the news. I really love how Rei is the one there for him as the parents are nowhere to be seen. Since Shougo is there obviously the family ties are meant to help Izumi along. So why not make it a family affair? Craziness I tell you. Izumi has his moment in his room where he thinks he can't do this and Rei has his moment of thinking the best course of action is busting down a door and dragging Izumi to pee himself silly on stage. That sounds like great fun. I like how Izumi ends up going to the press conference not for himself but for Ryouma. They got to clear that man's name. Ryouma is counting on him. Look the text messages!
 photo lovestageepisode813_zpsfa0cff7e.jpg
Oh NOW Shougo wants to act like a big brother....
I like how Rei has this all planned out to a dramatic degree. Like Izumi is going to come out in drag and shock people. We can't have Izumi coming out looking like a dude. No one would believe us. To hair and makeup now as Ryouma and Shougo take their penises out and duel each other to see who gets to take care of Izumi. Seriously Shougo has a problem with Ryouma checking Izumi's temperature via the forehead. He threw more of a fit over than then the fact that Ryouma and Izumi's elephant were friends on the couch at home. Shougo is insane. Ryouma and Shougo come to a decision that they need to work together for Izumi and support him in all his cross dressing ways.
 photo lovestageepisode814_zpsa8661d2e.jpg
A kiss for good luck?
Rei leaves to go introduce people and get things started which leaves Ryouma and Izumi alone. Once again the jitters take over Izumi and his nonready for showbiz self. Like cannot concentrate. I like that Ryouma took a moment to think how he could calm down Izumi before actually kissing the boy. There was a bit of thought behind it. Not like whelp gotta kiss Izumi now, I have no other choice. XD Because the good luck charm was murdered. I am not sure how Ryouma thought that was going to calm down Izumi. It sorta just transferred the jitters over to Izumi having the feelings for Ryouma. Like thanks I am supposed to be a star right now and all I can think about is you and your lips.
 photo lovestageepisode8_zpsc8ea9a88.jpg
See. This is totally less scandalous.
The entire episode revolved around the press conference and it lasted about 5 seconds. Rei brings Ryouma on stage who falsely apologizes for people being in his business. Ryouma wasn't as cool as he usually is. Maybe because he actually likes Izumi and saying the boy is just his friend isn't really the truth either. Rei pulls it together and brings cross dressing Izumi out so more people can gossip and what not. Then...the big dramatic reveal. Izumi is a boy. OF COURSE THEY ARE JUST FRIENDS NOW! Because....we can't dwell on the fact boy on boy action might be more scandals. Then Shougo comes onstage to WISH us or what not and introduce his little brother who is going to be a super star now. Izumi...well he looks out of his element and overwhelmed. A look that he will be wearing for a long time to come now. YAY Izumi! Thanks recap episode for about 5 minutes of new footage. On with the show now.

Tokyo Ghoul episode 7

Thank goodness I have some anime posts waiting in the wing or this would be a sad way to start September. X___X Still super upset about Lappy and the loss of Glasslip episode 5 since it took me FOREVER to get where I was in the post and now I have nothing to show for it. RARW!!!! But yeah..I should be grateful we are a two computer family to begin with so I have something to do yes?
 photo tokyoghoulepisode77_zpsafbc8aea.jpg
Clearly Toka is the problem in this episode...no one else.
Lets get some anime posts up and done before the husband comes home. I have to PLAN things now X___X This is going to be a weird concept for me. Maybe this means I will wake up at a reasonable hour from now on or something. Probably not. But have Tokyo Ghoul episode 7 anyway. Spoilers for Toka being...well justified and everyone else being in lalala land.

Kaneki has to make it in time he just has to!
Episode Summary: Hinami is still running and falling into people. She finds Kaneki and explains the situation to him. He takes her hand and they run towards the scene. The scene being Mom being confronted by Amon, Mado, and two other Doves. Mado is all haha you are pretending to be human and clearly you don't know how to fight with your kagune much. Mado pulls out his new weapon which is her husband's kagune. Instead of being full of rage she starts to cry. Kaneki makes it to the alley and sees how...well sucky the situation is. Hinami wants to help but Kaneki knows he can't do anything. All Kaneki can do is cover Hinami's eyes as her mom gets her head cut off. Toka arrives home from not working and such to find everyone at the cafe sitting in absolute silence and sadness. She is informed that Hinami's mother was killed by Doves and Hinami is currently crying her eyes out upstairs. Toka is super pissed, especially when it is suggest Hinami be moved to a different ward since her face was seen. Toka wants to take Yomo and the others and take out Doves. Yomo and Yoshimura explain if these Doves are killed Doves from other wards will come in and it will create a bigger mess. It is best if everyone just lies low. Toka gets mad that no one wants revenge and Yoshimura says the bigger insult is not to live your life to the fullest and blah blah. Toka runs out upset and Kaneki blames himself for not helping as Toka would have saved the day. Yoshimura tells him not to worry but Kaneki spends the night crying and Toka looking pissed at her mask. Mado calls a meeting with his team to talk about the Ghouls in this ward. Apparently interfering in another ward is bad and Jason's home base is not in their ward. The binge eaters and gourmets (Rize and Shu) are still a problem they think but Mado knows that since Mom and Dad were taken out things will die down. Amon says that means they will have to hit the pavement and hunt Ghouls the hard way. Mado seems to think this is all grand fun and tells him crew to rest up. He does give them some advice since the little girl (Hinami) did see them but one of the nonimportant people is like what can she do, she's a kid? While leaving the office Amon sees someone taking care of an orphan due to Ghoul activity. How dare those Ghouls do that to an innocent kid. Amon ends up at a noodle stand with his two colleagues who seem to be better friends with each other than Amon with how they act. They seem interested in Amon because he went through the academy and what not. They try to gossip if Amon hooked up with any girls there but the two girls in his squad or class have already died on duty. He seems rather stoic about that, that they were eager girls who died in the line of duty. They eat and things are rather quiet. Amon leaves separately from the other two. They seem to really look up to Amon and speak highly of him. They decide that they should have ended up in desk jobs and shouldn't really stick their necks out to do too much work or they might end up dead. Then Toka comes out of nowhere and cuts one of their heads off. She almost gets the second one but Amon runs up and gets his friend out of the way. Amon goes head to head with Toka but finds himself cornered and about to die.
 photo tokyoghoulepisode76_zps37632059.jpg
Because us walking around with our suitcases of death isn't obvious or anything.
Mado comes out of nowhere and tells Amon to take a break and watch a pro in action. Toka and her rabbit mask look amazing but Mado is moving fast too. He talks about how there are different classes of Ghouls and how Toka is moving she must be SUCH AND SUCH, one that relies on speed but has no stamina. She starts to slow down and Mado takes out his new weapon and whips it around. He pisses off Toka by bring up Hinami's mom but she is eventually is forced to flee when she is injured. Kaneki is making his rounds at the cafe and sees Hinami crying. He goes to another room and find Toka bleeding. Yoshimura comes in and Kaneki is like we have to help her! Yoshimura is like no. She went off on her own and attacked Doves so if she dies she dies. Toka runs out upset and Kaneki tries to play the middle man. Like you are right but I am Kaneki and I need to learn for myself as I have not seen enough as my Ghoul self yet. He goes outside to help patch Toka up and she is her usual sunshiny self. Kaneki tries to tell her he is half a Ghoul thus can see both sides sometimes. Toka is just pissed that nonfighters like Hinami's mom died when fighters like her are okay. Kaneki realizes that Toka knows she is to blame for what has happened. He tells her he would be sad if she died and he won't kill the Doves...but will help Toka. At headquarters the Doves are having a moment for their fallen comrade and blah blah. Afterwards one of the mangers takes Amon aside and points out that Mado is not there and won't care when Amon dies as well. Amon goes out with his remaining colleague who is really broken up about his friend. NotDeadMan tells Amon that the Dead Friend really looked up to him and what not. Amon responds in acting a way the DeadMan acted so the NotDeadMan can have a friend. Toka and Kaneki are then seen making maps or doing some sort of tracking in the sewers. Toka doesn't really explain things to Kaneki. Mado is busy trying to figure out how Toka (BunnyGirl) knows Hinami and what not. There is a call about a Hinami sighting near one of the sewers but it sounds like a prank. Due to the close quarters Mado knows this has to be a trap because he won't be able to fight effectively. He also concentrates on Hinami's sense of smell. Amon is seen working out like crazy and muttering about honor as Kaneki goes to pick up his mask which is the exact opposite of Toka's cute bunny one. THE END!
 photo tokyoghoulepisode711_zps4114cbe4.jpg
Ah Mado...what a giant douchebag of douchebagness.
A mix bag of feelings on this one right? Which I think is the point. Who you side with, Ghouls or humans? Is there much of a difference to pick a side? Not one side is totally evil and not one side is totally good. In fact both sides mostly look good and then there are issues like Mado and Shu. Things just seem too similar for there to be all this fighting. What to feel what to feel.
 photo tokyoghoulepisode73_zps75ca674d.jpg
Such a threat this woman yes?
Well...Ghouls eat humans. And I suppose there could be a way to make both sides happy and able to live. Child molester in jail? Have at it. Someone who is brain dead from a car accident and there is no hope they will wake up? We will make sure they feel no pain and you can have a buffet. But since humans feel attachment to the body even after the soul has gone on some people will always be upset at the idea of a Ghoul eating anyone. And there will always be a Ghoul who wants to hunt things down for themselves, the thrill of the chase. Since there is such animosity at this point coming to an understanding is going to be impossible. Especially when personalities like Mado exist. Amon was quiet during the Hinami mom situation. It was what it was. But Mado took pleasure in torturing the woman in front of him. Because he didn't see a woman despite the fact she was crying about her dead husband and worried about her daughter. Mado sees her as a demon beast who is pretending to be human. Something vile and no matter how many tears are in her eyes now it doesn't matter. Surely she has done awful things so kicking her while she is down and using her husband's kagune against her.....just joy. He gets joy on torturing creatures he doesn't care to understand. It is easier to hate Ghouls. Because Ghouls kill humans thus we hate them.
 photo tokyoghoulepisode718_zpsa134d0da.jpg
This is Amon and his JUSTICE face.
While Mom is smiling and looking Mado Hinami was running through the streets sobbing her eyes out. Dad is dead and Mom has been cornered by Doves. If they had any brains they would have gone after Hinami too as Mado is like super Dove while everyone else is Baby Dove. Instead Hinami is able to find Kaneki due to anime magic. Because folks everyone is always where you need them. Hinami explains the situation at the speed of fast and Kaneki decides to take Hinami BACK to the awful scene. I would have been like okay you hide here and I will go rescue your mom because I am Kaneki and I will make promises that there is no chance I can keep. But I guess Kaneki needed more directions and what if Hinami got caught when she was alone. So Kaneki makes it back...and then realizes what can he really do? Mado is Super Dove and he is Baby Ghoul. 4 against 1, never had a chance. Almost like he had to try and help her even though it was futile. Because if you don't help you will live the rest of your life full of what ifs. Sadly for Kaneki this also means that for the rest of his life he will see Hinami's mom losing her head over and over again in his nightmares. I assume that is what happened but you know censors.
 photo tokyoghoulepisode74_zpsd4992840.jpg
CRAZY TALK! How dare you suggest that!
Toka is the last one at the cafe to learn about this horrible news. She has been out being upset about Kimi and not killing her. Toka just needed a minute to think about this Ghoul business but I am guessing she was coming home today and was going to be back to her usual self. I don't think this news made her flip or made her more Ghoul like. Well maybe the more Ghoul like part but you know what I mean. She walks in and all the cafe people are there with the doors closed. Hinami's mom AND Dad are dead (sorta got glossed over by everyone didn't they?) by the hands of Doves. Yeah not a good time. Since I am not super familiar with Japanese geography nor do I know how many Ghouls there are in this universe I am not sure how big of a blow this is. Ghouls seem to be all over the place so I thought there was a lot of them. Enough for it be a close knit community in some areas and weary behavior in others.
 photo tokyoghoulepisode75_zps7ecb6d45.jpg
This seriously happened 5 minutes ago. How fast are we supposed to move on?!
I am not sure where that last paragraph was going but I will just say...I am mostly team Toka. I mean I do see Yoshimura's point. It is about numbers. Protect the ones that are left. There are way more humans than Ghouls. If we start to kill Doves they will send in more suitcase loving freaks and we will be taken out. It won't do Hinami's mother any good if we all die and no one is left to take of Hinami. Or you know....Toka's actions cause Hinami to die as well. There are good points in there but you would think the man being as old as he is would word things a little better. The woman just died. I think Toka is allowed to be mad without being told the bigger sin is not living your life to the fullest and blah blah. Like okay life can go on...next week. Now we get pissed. In this room we get mad and then next week we will do nothing so we all can be protected.
 photo tokyoghoulepisode715_zps54ca1291.jpg
But Kaneki cares. Those others can kiss his ass.
But I am mostly on team Toka. Mostly. She came in and had the right amount of rage. I think Kaneki would have had rage too but he is too busy blaming himself for not being a better Ghoul able to fight 4 Doves on his own. Toka is a jerk most of the time so the fact that she likes Hinami says a lot. Like this kid just lost both of her parents and they weren't even fighters. Well the Dad isn't anymore. Are we just going to roll over and wait until we are all taken out? Because that is going to happen. Doves aren't just going to leave them alone if they stop causing problems. Even if there are no problems Ghouls will be hunted one by one. It is just a matter of all of them dying at once or getting picked off alone. So Toka being calm and keeping her head down will just result in more deaths. Storm the castle. Take out the Doves. That's the attitude she has because standing around and doing nothing will just cause more of them to die. Kaneki sees both points of view and spends the night crying in his shower over how unfair all of this is.
 photo tokyoghoulepisode714_zpseb2d25e2.jpg
I am thinking Kaneki wants to bridge the gap between humans and Ghouls...and will die for it? Maybe?
Because Kaneki is torn on this situation he currently finds himself it is only right that we see the other side of the coin, the human side. There are good Ghouls and bad ones even if we factor out the part they eat people. Shu is a very bad Ghoul. While there are some humans who are only in this job for the protection of others I am going to go out on a limb and say Mado is not one of them. Not one of them at all. Mado and his team are having a meeting about the Ghoul population and for a second he seems okay, seems slightly normal. He is talking about this issue in a very methodical manner. Jason is in a different district, we can't go there, and it will be hitting the pavement time from now on. Just like if they were talking about normal criminals. No over the top behavior here. Make you see why he got the job. It is just everyday people doing a job and talking about the best way to solve a problem in their city. It is a bit jarring of course since they just killed a mother and are talking about hunting down her kid and these monsters look rather human. Do people even know what Ghouls are? I mean I know I don't but do they know? What if they are just infected humans? So yeah...the talk and okayness of the situation is a bit odd when you think of it in those terms.
 photo tokyoghoulepisode78_zps544a716c.jpg
Apparently how to be super awesome.
It seems as if these Doves work in teams of 4. Mado is in charge but it is Amon that the other two men seem to really respect. They all go out to dinner which is something I don't think Amon does all the time. Maybe sometimes but Mado never does from the sounds of it. So this is time for the underlings to have a bit of bonding time. Which means they will die in this episode. Clearly. I thought for sure both of the ones I can't remember their names were going to die. Amon maybe but he seems a bit more valuable, to save for another death for later. For now it is noodling and showing us how the two underlings are close with each other. They want to know more about Amon since he went to Doves school or something whereas they didn't. Amon's stories weren't really that great considering two of his classmates have already died. That is the job they took on though. To uphold justice and protect people. Sometimes they die in the line of duty. Not them of course. They are going to live forever. They are just going to have a moment for Amon's old people.
 photo tokyoghoulepisode79_zps44a283af.jpg
And then his head exploded in a fountain of blood. I think.
Amon leaves for about 3 seconds as the other two walk home together. They are better friends after all and were probably on the same squad before Amon and Captain Crazy came into town. They talk about Amon being amazing and what not. I think Mado was mentioned too but Amon seems more relate able to the guys whereas they will never be like Mado. Nor should they want to. They decide that if people are dying on the job by going above and beyond well they will just do the bare minimum. Weird way of thinking about things but I guess they want to stay alive. If they help people okay but they seemed to want office jobs and not field work. How well will that wish work out for either of them? Well the one in the glasses gets half his face cut off and the other one nearly dies as Toka in her bunny mask has arrived.
 photo tokyoghoulepisode710_zps2638beff.jpg
Amon isn't going to give up. Well maybe some limbs but not his life.
Toka has decided to sit around and let her people get taken out one by one. It is time for revenge. I find it odd that Kaneki had to get his mask specially made by Mask Dude but Toka has a rabbit mask that you could get at a nearby festival. Interesting interesting. Even though Kaneki was the one who saw the murder Toka and her gloomy self staked out the Doves building. By that logic all Doves should be easy to find since Toka knows where the building is. Anyway she followed the group and waited until the weaker ones were separated. Then...head slicing time. The other one would have died if Amon hadn't had his spidey sense kick in. And his superman sense as he is able to push the man out of the way and fight Toka for a bit. Not too much but able to hold his own. To protect his friend. Had it not been for Mado though the entire team would have been taken out.

Yes Mado, the man who didn't go to the dinner with the rest of the men shows up to handle things. Almost like he was using the other men as bait. Like oh time to get revenge on the woman I killed yesterday HAHA?! I wonder if the other men realized that is what Mado did? Probably especially given what Amon was told later and how Mado acted. For now I am sure they are just grateful since Mado is just amazing. At this point I doubt we are going to get an explanation on what the weapons really are. I am sure I could look it up but the point of shows are to explain the elements within them, not to rely on the internets to pick up the pieces. So I will just go with the fact that the Doves has special weapons from some super cool metal and Ghouls are just...whatever.
 photo tokyoghoulepisode712_zps65cf791d.jpg
So Toka has to kill her target right away or she dies. I see now.
Putting the weapons aside...Mado is just good. He is very knowledge yes but he is like a gymnast. I mean is he part Ghoul too? He moves like one. He has strength like one. And he looks like some crazy old man. I was just not expecting that much from him, for him to go toe to toe with Jason and now Toka and not die. Toka on the other hand was having problems. Since there are different kinds of Ghouls (like Pokemon) Toka has speed on her side but not stamina. It is weird because she is so strong and great at attacking. But due to this weakness and the fact that Mado is just so good at what he does she was forced to retreat. Not before Mado did some damage via the kagune he took from Dad Doctor. He is busy sprouting out facts to the others while taking on Toka like it is no big deal. He gots this folks.
 photo tokyoghoulepisode713_zps4e4e6acd.jpg
Then kick her out. Don't say crap like that and let her stay.
Toka wasn't hurt that bad as she was able to get away. Personally I am not understanding how these Ghouls heal. All of the Ghouls I have seen so far should be dead from their injuries and they are still alive. Shu and his cut in half self is probably still kicking. So I am not sure why Toka was in need of medical attention after a less than deadly cut. Shu kicked her ass worse. Maybe it has to deal with Toka not eating people and all. By the time Kaneki makes his rounds (Hinami the crying forever girl) to see Toka is busy being yelled at by Yoshimura. Like dude you are supposed to be the kindly old man...help out. He is trying to make a point, that Toka made her bed and she has to lie in it bloody sheets and all. Personally I think Yoshimura should kick Toka out of the cafe if he feels that way. He can't half ass it. She is either with us or against us in his mind. She puts them in danger by being there. But if she still allowed to be there then he should take care of her. If that makes sense. Plus since these wounds do heal it is kinda him being a jerk for no reason.
 photo tokyoghoulepisode717_zps79bb074e.jpg
See? Super help Kaneki.....walking around the sewers.
Toka gets all pissy over Yoshimura being a douche and goes elsewhere to tend to her wounds. Kaneki is still torn and goes to talk to her after standing a respectful amount of time in front of Yoshimura. Yoshimura is in charge and their elder so he needs some respect. But Kaneki even says this to Toka later. Or sometime during the episode anyway. Kaneki has been a Ghoul for like a month. Maybe. Maybe a month at this point. He hasn't seen all points of view. He just knows certain humans and he knows certain Ghouls. He wants to patch Toka back together but he wants to keep the Ghouls safe that he knows. He doesn't want Toka to kill Hide if Hide finds out the secret (or reveals that he knows). He doesn't want to watch his friends die but he also doesn't want to kill Doves who (for the most part) are just trying to protect their families and other humans from what they think are monsters. However Kaneki has reached a point where he has to do something. So he will help Toka but...won't deal the killing blow against the Doves. That is what I gather I suppose.

.....Just...stop talking and serve food. You are not helping at all.
Toka and Kaneki spend some time in the sewers doing something. I am guessing picking a spot to fight against Doves or maybe they are setting a plan in motion. Not really sure. While they are doing that we get to see what the Doves are doing. They are having a ceremony for their fallen comrade. Well all but Mado which is really bad form. I don't think Amon needs to be told that. It is quite obvious. Maybe this other Dove dude has been around long enough to see how many people Mado has worked through, used as meat shields and bait mind you. If it was that bad I would think someone would have fired his ass so something is up there yes? Amon is putting this out of his mind for now as he really is focused on his fallen comrade and the one that is left. That dude is in super bad shape missing his friend. I liked that Amon tried to make things better but damn noodle bowl guy. Read the mood. Amon spends the rest of the episode training and being all Wolverine like. He is going into the Hunger Games ya'll and it is time to go on and on about justice and fixing things that are right in the world. He sees things in black and white. He saw that little boy without a family but he doesn't seem to put together that Hinami has no parents either. Because monsters don't have parents. I wonder if he will get it before he dies.

The menu tonight is obviously nightmares. Nightmares forever.
While Amon is pumping it up Mado is being creepy. Even when he is doing his job he does so in a way that makes me want to stab myself in the eyes. He is doing what needs to be done, protecting humans from Ghouls. He just puts that bit of extra in it that doesn't need to be there. Like I know where hamburgers come from. People don't need to take joy in the process though. Mado is all thinking about how Toka knows Hinami and Hinami having a keen sense of smell. I am not sure how that would make Hinami an awesome Ghoul but what do I know. So Mado is super fast and strong AND smart. He knows that Toka calling in about a Hinami sighting is all a lie but he is probably going to go in anyway. With a different weapon. I don't know how this is going to work out as Kaneki is stepping up to the plate with his.....mask. Um did you see that folks? The thing of nightmares. NIGHTMARES! The opposite of a bunny mask. So Mado is making super plans and Kaneki is going to help by wearing his new mask. And Amon is going to do a million sit ups. I am sure this will all end in more blood yes?

Rest in peace Lappy the Laptop

 photo Sept2014Lappypics010_zps3f4231fb.jpg
My little blue laptop...never to turn on again...
:( So...yeah. my long time companion and partner in blogging crime has died today. Technically it died yesterday and I was in denial, thinking that I would let it rest overnight and magically Tinkerbell was going to sprinkle pixie dust on the stupid thing and it would come back to life. This was clearly not t be and 3 sad attempts later it is clear the laptop is in a deep coma. One that would probably require pumping a lot of money into the IV to make it turn on again. Thus....goodbye Lappy.

Hard to tell in this pic but Lappy was super loved.
I am not quite sure how old the laptop is. I know some of the very first blog posts I made on this Tenchi's Thoughts were on my husband's old desktop. We had a desktop at our apartment and then the husband upgraded and the old one became primarly mine. Once the new laptop was paid off we got the new laptop and after that was paid off we got ANOTHER new desktop. So as I write this I realize if I really wanted my own computer at this moment we could put the old desktop back together until we win the lottery and I can get a new Lappy 2.0. HMMMM didn't think about that until I started typing. Will have to ask the husband when he gets home.

One last attempt to turn Lappy on. Duffy is here for moral support.
So yeah Lappy was sorta old. It was having a lot of problems. The graphics would randomly go out on it, especially when watching pretty cool anime. It was hard to play internet games as well as download anime episodes due to how SLOW it was to download anything. The battery died a while ago. Some of the keys would stick. The right clickly thing was pretty clicked out. While I am sure Lappy can be fixed it might cost way too much given how old it is. Sorta like how I haven't driven since June since my car decided it no longer wanted to go. It just seems like the last 12 months half the things in our house wanted to break. Except my cellphone which I think is the first cellphone in the exist of cellphones.

Now it is so broken it won't even go to the HEY I am broken screen. Goodbye Lappy.
Where does this all leave me? Um in not so fun land. The desktop DOES work and is pretty fast but I hate the keys on it. I am so used to the laptop typing this is taking forever. Thankfully I had a vision of Lappy's death about two weeks ago so I saved all my pics onto CDs (which I have now been told is lame and I should have used a...whatever they said I should have used). In terms of anime posts I actually saved one of my undone posts here the night before so the only thing that was super lost forever was the half finished Glasslip episode 5 post and some screenies not on Photobucket yet. Still very bummed. All my favorites, my links. Things I enjoyed in terms of set up on my computer...gone forever. :( Sad Tenchi is sad. I still have access to this desktop so I can still post. Just might take longer since this is my husband's main computer and since the man puts up with me and has a hard job he should get first dibs when he comes home from work. I guess we will see how the older desktop is doing and maybe things won't be quite as sad. Just...goodbye Lappy. You will be missed. :(
