DRAMAtical Murder episode 12 FINAL EPISODE!

Clearly watching reality TV shows did not help my productivity tonight. X___X Well maybe it did. But then I saw FrootLoop Dingus Zach and I lost my train of thought. He didn't win America's Favorite player but as long as someone else didn't win I guess it is okay. Big Brother is over for the summer. What am I going to do with all my free time? Keep up on animes in a timely manner? HAHAHA!

What? Wait what? Is it taking clothes off time? WOOHOO! Spoiler alert...it's not woohoo time. :(

So here is my 6th post of the day? Sailor Moon is sorta done but probably won't get done tonight. Maybe tomorrow but I probably should use that day to clean my house since I didn't anything today. X____X But this isn't a Sailor Moon post. It is the last episode of DRAMAtical Murder. Because this season clearly I picked animes that ended on a super rushed note and could have had another episode to flesh things out better. Or not run stupid recaps for no reason. But yes. Episode 12 of DRAMAtical Murder. Spoilers for no murders, no kisses, no sense making, ect ect. Ren who? Oh yeah lets give that character 5 minutes. But then move on.

...This was the most touching of all season folks. Robbed.

Episode Summary: When we last saw our hero Aoba had been bitten by a crazy looking Ren. Where is the cute and adorable tongue?! Memories flow into Aoba and he realizes they are Ren and somehow Ren is inside him now. So to save Ren Aoba uses Scrap on himself because folks. Since they are technically inside Aoba’s brain everything is a lot calmer. There is a beach and Ren isn’t tied up. He is though falling apart which freaks Aoba out. Freaks him out so much he doesn’t even question the sexiness of the shirtless Ren situation. Ren says he wants to disappear since he is no use to Aoba anymore and that is clearly not okay with Aoba. Ren’s issue is two fold. One he is an older Allmate and he is worried that he is no longer able to serve Aoba correctly. Two…he is Aoba. Once upon a time Aoba was just Aoba. Then his power AKA Desire Aoba started to take control and did bad things. This caused the creation of Constraint Aoba AKA Ren to be created to protect Aoba. But when Desire Aoba came out more and more and did shitty things Ren knew he had do something and could no longer control the body. So when Aoba found a broken Allmate in the trash Ren put himself into the body so he could better serve Aoba. Things were okay for a while until Desire Aoba went too far in Rhyme one day and caused Virus and Trip to mess with Aoba’s memories. Since Ren used to be Aoba this caused his memories to be changed too and he forgot his mission. Now that he is infected with a virus he realizes who he is and why he is now bad for Aoba. I am sure the real conversation was I can’t serve you right because all I want to do is put my penis in you every single day but what was said was something along the lines of Ren wants to stay with Aoba together which clouds his judgment. So with all that said it would be much better if Ren and his hottie self just disappeared. Aoba is like oh hell no. Now that I know who you are and what you have done for me I want your penis even more. Or you know…that didn’t happen and Aoba gives Ren a sexy hug and says he wants to be with Ren forever too and he would never ever want Ren to leave him ever. EVER! After the sexy hug Aoba wakes up to Allmate Ren smiling and being all better. Everything is awesome!

Don't mind us. We will just protect your asses and such.

Ren and Aoba continue on and find Toue alone in some fancy Titanic like dining room. Mr. Peanut Wannebee then explains his master plan of world domination and for some reason Aoba acts like this is news to him and he didn’t know all this garbage to begin with. Toue is under the impression that he is a good baddie because usually when people want to take over the world they do a lot of killing and what not. Here he just wants to control everyone in a way they are happy to serve him. Aoba is pretty pissed that Toue used all his friends (before Toue even know they were his friends) for his evil plot and he needs to….go to the corner or something. I don’t know. Toue decides that they need to prove who is more of a badass with a Rhyme battle since that plot device has really been left in the mud. Plus I don’t think Toue’s Scrap works on Aoba and he needs to do something else to get the kid? I have no idea what the point was really when kidnapping all of Aoba’s friends who are currently fighting all the soldiers would have been an easier way to control Aoba. So they enter Rhyme and it turns out that Usui is Toue’s Allmate and he is based on Sei. Actually Sei has a habit of randomly putting his consciousness into other objects because that is fun. Ren starts off as sexy Ren but then has his other Allmate form. Aoba doesn’t want to battle and it looks like they might lose since this is like the second time Aoba has played Rhyme that he can remember. But then he realizes that Sei might be in Usui and Ren stalls for time as Aoba uses Scrap to talk to Sei. It appears that Sei responds and uses all the bullets/missiles on Usui which causes Toue to lose the battle spectacularly. Despite the safety being off in the battle Toue is okay, just pissed that he wasn’t the winner. But since he is a gentlemen he will accept defeat and tells Aoba that Sei is in the room ahead. Toue then blows his brains out because he is a loser.

Aoba finds Sei in a room full of toys not moving a lot. Dude looking bad. The second Aoba touches Sei they end up going into his mind, Scrap like. Ren joins them too because he has barely gotten any time. Sei is looking weird, like his grown up baby mode instead of what he looks like now. He is happy to meet Aoba but sad because that means it is time for him to die. Aoba makes a half hearted attempt to ask if he can save Sei which the answer is no. Sei’s heart is going to fail no matter what. Sei thanks Ren for his hard work protecting Aoba but Sei asks Aoba to accept HIM too. Him being desire. Ren has been protecting Aoba from Desire Aoba all along but Sei wants them to all get along, that Desire Aoba isn’t a baddie. While Aoba has a heart to heart with all himselves Sei is going destroy Toue’s plans as he thinks he is responsible. Partial anyway. He needs Aoba to break him before that can happen. Aoba is a little against that because they are twins but Sei begs him too so it is Scrap time. Sei is set free and begins to infect all the computers and electronics in Platinum Jail. While that is going on Aoba tells Desire Aoba he was scared of his Scrap power and thought it was like killing people and that is why he rejected him. But now Aoba is under the delusional impression that Desire Aoba was trying to talk nicely to him all along and he apologizes for misunderstanding. Desire Aoba says thank you and they touch hands. Desire Aoba glows as if Aoba is accepting him. Ren seems surprised but then accepts that Aoba accepts Desire Aoba too and glows. Both disappear leaving Aoba alone. The tower starts to fall apart and Aoba wakes up to see Minks’ motorcycle being driven by his Allmate to rescue him. Aoba leaves the Tower and Sei’s body behind. Everyone leaves and Aoba wakes up on the ground surrounded by Clear, Koujaku, and Noiz. Minks is nearby but is busy being stoic somewhere else. The barrier that was surrounding the area is breaking down revealing it is all over. Aoba goes to take Ren out of his bag and…it is just the Allmate personality, not Ren. Aoba is heartbroken obviously. Aoba then tells us that it has been one year since the incident happened and everyone is in lala land about what really happened. They just think it was terrorist. While Toue and some of his people are missing (dead) everyone else made it out alive so yay! Everything is back to normal in Aoba land. Grams is doing great. Mizuki magically got better. Noiz disappeared for a while but came back a smooth gentleman. Minks really has disappeared but Aoba thinks he is okay. Koujaku is the same cutting hair. Clear has been fixed and often visits with Aoba. The only thing that is sad is Ren is gone. The Allmate works but Ren is not in it. Woe is Aoba. One day Aoba gets a call from someone mysterious (Trip and Virus) that his family member is in the hospital and maybe Aoba can come visit him. Aoba immediately thinks Sei and rushes there. It is Sei but when the boy wakes up it is Ren who inside the body. Aoba cries tears of happiness. THE END!

If? Oh okay. You are just misunderstood too. Everyone is misunderstood. Misunderstanding for you and you and you!

I don’t even know where to start with this hot mess folks. Clearly someone ran out of time and decided to cram three episodes worth of information into one episode. Would it really have broken the bank to have a 13 episode so Ren could get his moment in the spotlight and everything could get wrapped up in a neat bow and nicely wrapped present instead of a random Target bag? I guess so folks. I GUESS SO!

So Ren is the true path in the game? I WANT TO SEE THAT HAPPY ENDING!

And you know what folks? Where the heck was the yaoi? I understand that DRAMAtical Murder is not listed as a yaoi anime. However I know it is based on a yaoi video game. I know this because before I picked up this show I went online to look at art and pics of the show as I usually do for new shows. And holy crap the pics. The good and the bad. Everyone main got a good ending with Aoba and everyone got a HAPPY, full of positive sex ending. Several happy sex endings for some characters. So while I know that main stream anime isn’t going to go all naked on me. Especially in a show where there are multiple pairings and the main character gives each potential rapist/boyfriend equal time. But what the heck did we get? One random kiss that was never explained by Noiz and that was it. NO SEXUAL TENSION AT ALL! Unless Minks thinks hitting Aoba a few times is foreplay. NOTHING folks. Aoba was giving us all these emotions with each boy, like I must heal you and accept you…but then nothing. Friendship hugs folks. That is it. I feel robbed. Like I wanted the guys to be fighting for Aoba’s attention in the end. Like glares that Aoba is friendly with the other and trying to get Aoba to pick them. Especially now that Ren is a contender and not a pipe dream. I know I wasn’t promised anything but I feel as if….this kind of show could have done with more romance if Aoba was going to act the way he did with each boy while Scraping them.

So let us get to Ren. He seriously got 6 minutes of time. THAT IS IT!!!! There was no opening or ending song due to how much time had to be crammed in this episode so I guess we are lucky we got those 6 minutes. It could have been worse. But really Ren probably needed more time. Well he did until I realized what he was. Here I thought he was AI robot boy and it turns out not to be the case. But putting aside who/what he is there is no denying Aoba has been the most affectionate with Ren the Allmate. So many cute head butts and just by his size Ren has to be carried. Aoba is always worried about people hurting his little friend and what not. Basically Ren has always been there for Aoba. Maybe even more than Koujaku. So it sorta pisses me off that Ren didn’t get more of an episode. Maybe it was supposed to be built up all along? Like Ren and Aoba were the main couple and every arc was supposed to have them in it. I just feel as if Ren really got the short end of the stick when…in reality…he should have gotten the sexiest stick of all.

So all that DRAMAtics from last episode was just that. Memories are not viruses. I see.

When we last saw our heroes Minks has allowed Aoba to go off alone because nothing bad happens to Aoba when he is alone. Ren has been suffering from some worm thing that has to make it obvious that Ren is infected. Like really we needed those random screens dancing in front of Ren’s eyes or else we would be totally lost folks. Anyway infected Ren bites Aoba and Aoba dramatically ended the last episode by acting like something poisonous was flowing into him and he was going to fall on the ground and probably get raped again. At least in the game.

Instead it is shown at the beginning of this episode that what was flowing through Aoba was Ren’s memories. All the memories that he had shared with Aoba. It is shown later that the Allmate Ren had a previous owner but since we know who/what Ren is now that doesn’t matter. All Ren has ever known is Aoba and for some reason seeing all these memories makes Aoba worry. It makes little sense to me. Like he feels as if Ren is in super danger and since Ren has already lied or covered up the fact that he was injected Aoba can only assume the worse. Ren is not acting Ren like and he needs to save him. And since Clear is a robot with a soul and Aoba was able to use Scrap on him Aoba can use Scrap on Ren. Because folks. Since the memories are flowing into him that means Ren is now in Aoba so all Aoba needs to do is use Scrap on himself. This….just….I don’t even know folks.

So....Aoba subconsciously denying his power made another personality that was evil which caused another personality to form to protect Aoba from evil personality and wanted to do his job so much he jumped into the body of a dog Allmate? WHAT!?

If I think that is insane well…..what happened next was just…I don’t even know. Makes me super question this…hot pairing. Ren’s mind is a beach and he isn’t really hiding or restrained. Not like the others have been. He is falling apart though, like he a computer graphic disappearing or something. One would think this is because of the worm and Aoba just needs to convince the Allmate that no matter what he will always be with Ren. Apparently it is more obvious in the game but Ren really is concerned about being replaced as he is an older model (that Aoba found in the trash). That is why Aoba is always worried about him because the parts are becoming hard to find and what not. So Ren has all these insecurities and now that he has been infected again he just wants to go quietly into that Allmate heaven in the sky as he has gained AI from being around Aoba so long. He is a burden and will only slow Aoba down. Please Aoba let me go. Break me. Like literally take a hammer to my little Allmate body and break me.

Having romantic feelings for Aoba means you can't protect him from Desire Aoba?! What?!

Or or folks…..Ren did not magically gain AI from being around Aoba. Ren….IS Aoba. Please folks. Just please. So you know how there is an evil Aoba that wants to Scrap everyone and the normal Aoba that wants to date everyone and live in butterfly land? Well apparently at one time there were three Aobas. They all have names too. Well more like what they were in charge of in Aoba’s brain/heart. Evil Aoba is Desire Aoba and Ren was Restraint Aoba. I guess that Grams needed to give Aoba his medicine way sooner than she thought because he has been having problems for a while. Aoba is 20 right? Since Noiz is 19 and Aoba is like MOG I am older he is probably 20. So it is possible that Aoba has had issues since he was 14/15? That would make a little more sense but not some little kid in the hospital kinda accident. But high school Aoba was an asshole doing asshole things. And it wasn’t even all about Scrap either. I don’t know what Desire Aoba’s problem was but he was acting like a kid that didn’t get enough hugs as a child. Normal Aoba was losing control from Desire Aoba so a new part of Aoba was made. One to protect him. And that was Constraint Aoba. Are we keeping track of all of this folks? Ren is Aoba, a part of Aoba that was created because Aoba knew deep down he could use Scrap but since he wasn’t doing it himself this other Aoba was created and lost his mind. So another Aoba was made to go against the newly made Aoba.

Why can't this be dirty?!

To make things even more special Constraint Aoba decided that he was losing control and couldn’t protect Regular Aoba enough so he jumped ship. Literally left the body and took control of the Allmate Regular Aoba found in the trash. So this is the reason why Ren is more lifelike compared to other Allmates. Aoba didn’t know it but maybe he left it inside. That Ren was different and he cared for Ren more and that is why he always defended the little pup or treated him better than the others treat their Allmates. Or Aoba is just weird. But for some reason now Ren is having a moment and just wants this new virus or Aoba to take him out. I think this line of thinking is dumb. Now that Desire Aoba is playing more of a role in things wouldn’t this be the time to stick around? The time Aoba needs you the most? I am not sure how Ren wanting to have sex…I mean be with Aoba all the time would make things worse. Perhaps things were just watered down despite me going on about 538473 paragraphs about ¼ of the episode but Ren was really getting upset over things he thought Aoba would do but knew Aoba wouldn’t do? So yeah. Aoba was not down for Ren leaving him despite how bizarre it is that Ren is him. Like please don’t leave me! It’s like you are the best part of me! Here have a hug because we really need to move on before people find out passed out on the floor. Because that would be dangerous and be detrimental to me Ren. Silly boy. Must have been jealous of Aoba making lots and lots of new rapist friends.

See folks? Different kind of villain. Giving the hero a chance and all.

Instantly Aoba and Ren are okay and moving right along. Who cares that Aoba’s Allmate is himself and is in love with him. We got to find Toue. Oh wait there is Toue right there. Good thing that Toue waited patiently for Aoba and didn’t kidnap the boy right then and there to make his evil villain plans actually happen. No folks Toue is way too classy for that. HE sees himself as a villain above villains. Anyone else in his position would brainwash people off a cliff. Create crazy people that run around and rape young boys with interesting hair cuts. Not Toue. Toue is different. He is going to give people a lifetime of happiness. Or what they think will be happiness. Brainwashing with a smile. So is he really that evil? He could just kill them. My gosh he should be thanked at this point!!! Also close that mouth Aoba, flies are…flying in. You knew all this stuff. And yes Toue made all of your friends suffer just so he could get his hands on you. Because Toue knew you were alive like one week ago. This must have been some master plan.

The whole battle. TADA!

So Aoba and the gang broke into Platinum Jail to take down Toue. If I thought Ren got a rushed story well…Toue. Just Toue. This battle between the battle was quick. I didn’t think it was going to be Namek taking 483843 hours to blow up but I thought it would last longer than 5 seconds. I don’t even know why there was a battle really but if there was going to be one it should have been longer. Instead Usui is Toue’s Allmate and for some reason Sei likes to put himself in different things. I thought this kid was dying for power overuse? Maybe Toue made him do it. I don’t know. Ren and Aoba were in danger for about 5 seconds until they realized that Aoba could Scrap to Sei and make the boy help them since that is what the kid wanted anyway. Then it was byebye Usui and Toue just gave up. Seriously the battle ends and Toue is okay…but since he is a different kind of villain, one with honor…he is going to throw away 20 years of work because Aoba was able to convince Sei to turn against Toue. Nothing to do with how strong Aoba was…just that Aoba has stronger connections with people and thus won? Like yeah I am totally going to give up my dreams because I am a gentleman. Just go on ahead to your dying twin as I pull out my gun and kill myself, denying anyone the pleasure of killing me themselves. Just….is this real life?

After you break me into pieces of course.

So Aoba goes on ahead without even bating an eye. I would still be looking around every corner and making sure Toue doesn’t go HAHA you believed me loser and fills Aoba and his crew full of lead. But Toue was telling the truth which is good since Aoba has no sense of danger. He finds Sei in his room with plushies and not looking so great. Aoba barely has 5 seconds to take in the sight of his brother before they automatically go into Scrap/brain land. Each encounter there is less and less effort for Aoba to use his powers. Like I am going in your brain now to I am already in your brain. Because this show is insane the Sei that Aoba sees inside their brain is not the Sei we have seen the entire series. For some reason he is the same coloring as the baby Sei and Aoba in the story that Virus and Trip told. Just because folks. Everything needs to be interesting or there would be no point.

So...you waited your entire life to meet me but you are more concerned about the insane person in my head? I see.

The amount of time spent on Sei was like a fraction of the time that was spent on Ren. So really it was nothing. Basically it was Sei saying hey I am sick and dying and I need you to destroy me. I was going to assume that Sei was alive inside this dying body and only Aoba could save him but given the end of the episode…that really doesn’t seem to be the case. I know that Aoba found out 5 seconds ago his brother existed but can’t this Sei kid get a little more of a send off. Twin brothers, one tortured and the other living free? Sei doesn’t seem bitter and plans on taking out Toue himself. He really just wanted to see Aoba once in his life and make sure he lives for the both of them. And to do that he wants to make sure all the Aobas are okay and happy.

Talked? When did this talking take place?

Yes folks. That’s right. Sei barely has any time with Aoba and with what time he has he spends it making sure Aoba is okay with Desire Aoba and Ren. I am surprised that Sei knew about them both as Aoba was off living somewhere else but I guess Sei everything. So after Aoba did his do I have to do this speech he set his brother free. So while Sei was infected every single computer in Platinum Jail Aoba was having a conversation with himself. Which I found funny because Sei was like you need to listen to what Desire Aoba has to say and the kid said two words. It was just Aoba doing all the talking. And history was really revisted folks. Since this entire series takes place in the span of one week it isn’t like Aoba has time to be confused. But now Aoba is basically apologizing to Desire Aoba for misunderstanding him all this time. Because now Desire Aoba was just helping Regular Aoba? Is this real life? All Desire Aoba was doing was saying destroy over and over again, against people he cared about and otherwise. This dude would take over regular Aoba and punch people in the throat. But now it is just a big misunderstanding. HAHA folks Aoba should have just tried a little harder to understand why there was another personality in his head who looked super pissed all the time and was using some kind of power on his friends, basically hurting Mizuki and what not. Surely it is Aoba’s fault for not understanding. Since I was watching a different show I am rolling my eyes a little at the idea this is Aoba’s fault. I mean…maybe if he had known his powers the entire time random personalities wouldn’t have popped up but this is almost too much to choke down. Even Ren was like WTF I was protecting you from this guy and now it is group hug time? Well fine give me one too!

But...but...where is Ren?!

While all this hugs and kisses and apologizes were going on Sei was doing all the work. Basically Aoba just came to beat Toue at a game and Sei hacked into all the computers and broke everything and anything in his sights. I am surprised that no one really got hurt since they were brainwashed but maybe once things started breaking down the brainwashing was poof gone. I wouldn’t want that to be the case though if Toue really had world domination on the mind. So disappointed. But good job Sei. Your reward is for Aoba to leave your body behind while Aoba escapes on Minks’ motorcycle operated by his Allmates. I mean I guess at this point Aoba has to save himself and Sei is gone, broken. I like that the boys were concerned about Aoba. Well at least Noiz, Koujaku, and Clear were. Minks was off setting bombs. But I guess since e sent the motorcycle he knew he was safe. The point is everyone got out safely as the tower collapsed. Yay Aoba. Hurry up and hug all your harem members. Everyone is alive and you saved the world. HUGS!!!! Or or…Aoba will open his bag and realize that during that hug with all the Aobas Ren…disappeared. All that is left in the Allmate is the Allmates personality. There is no Ren personality. X___X Where is he? Did they all go back into Aoba, so he is a complete person? So rewind that victory because without Ren everything sucks. :( Aoba was so sad…he loved whatever that little guy was with all his heart and now he is gone. Well he should never have existed but now he is gone and Aoba is devastated. :(

See awesome. Everything. Everything is awesome. No need for tears. Even Clear is okay.

And then folks…THAT IS IT! Everything is awesome. No literally everything is awesome. The tower fell and no one bothered to be too upset over the terrorist act or the fact that the original inhabitants of this island were mistreated. No one in Platinum Jail was like MOG we were there for years and we didn’t even know what was going on. What happened?! Nope nothing. Just lalala the place blew up and life moved on. It’s a year later and everyone is good. Exactly what part of this show was DRAMAtical Murder? Because Koujaku was drugged and killed his drugger but that was about it folks. Not really that dramatical or a murder. Instead everyone is okay. Even Mizuki. You know the guy that Desire Aoba broke into a million pieces? AOkay with no word on how it happened. Clear is fine too even though he is a robot that can’t fix himself anymore and the person who made him killed himself. Just dang skippy. I am not sure where Noiz went but now he has a suit and no piercings because he can feel again? I am sure it was important. And I like how all Aoba could say about Koujaku was the man is still cutting hair. Minks is no longer dreads but he is out there being mysterious or what not. NO SEXUAL TENSION AT ALL. Where were my glares from the boys trying to be Aoba’s number one? No glares. No nothing. So ripped off.

This is it?! Like this is seriously it?!

But wait. There is one more minute left of the show so we need to have a heart felt moment smashed into it. Seriously one minute to go and Virus and Trip call Aoba up to rape him over the phone or something. I mean they did get out and know where Aoba lives so I am not sure why they didn’t go over there and do horrible things to him. Instead what they did was take Sei’s body while the tower was crashing down and place him in a hospital for a year. Then called Aoba. Not the day after it happened but a year later. But I guess since Sei didn’t wake up until that very moment it doesn’t matter. Only…it wasn’t Sei. It was his body but when he woke up and looked at Aoba it was clear it was Ren. So…..yeah folks. Anime magic. I thought that Sei’s body was breaking down and his mind was trapped in there and only Aoba could save him. Turns out the body must have been fine enough for Ren to jump into (because that is what he does) and Sei must have just been tired? I don’t know, the kid said he was dying. Maybe he saw how close Aoba and his other self Ren were and wanting to stop his own pain and give someone else a chance. The point is Aoba has spent the entire year with a pretend smile on his face but was sad that Ren had to pass away for the world to be saved and literally the second he finds out Ren is alive the show ends. No kisses, no nothing. Okay they did their head touching thing which is important to the two of them but still. The last second of this show and that’s all Ren gets. He was so robbed. I wanted more, to see how they are going to work things out now that Ren is in Sei’s body but was really Aoba at one point.

Yeah I got better folks. Don't question it.

But….it was not to be. None of this show was to be. Everything was rushed at the end, there was no real relationships formed with the new people that Aoba met, and things got really, really weird. Like super weird. Too much weird to handle. I know I wasn’t promised yaoi but I was expecting something. Instead we got Aoba just accepting all the crazy that came his way and apologizing to everyone who did him wrong. I am sure if Virus and Trip showed up again he would hug them for bring him Ren, not call the insane cops for them doing what they did to him and all his friends. This show was just…full of promise and couldn’t even deliver on the title, let alone with content. Le sigh folks. Le sigh indeed. This is Tenchi signing out. OH MY GOSH Zach didn’t win America’s player on Big Brother. Eff this crap. :(

DRAMAtical Murder episode 11: Aliens. Or something.

Sometimes when I watch animes I have to pause the show. My only language is English so I must read English subtitles and sometimes there is a lot text to read. Other times I am laughing so hard I have to pause things to catch my breath. But then there are times when I have to pause things because I have to make a face. Like as if someone else is in the room and I have to turn to confirm to said person that what we just saw was bizarre, stupid, or WTFness. Usually with a facial expression to sum up the feelings.

Well this post three of tonight...there was a lot of pausing. And there was pausing because of the third reason. I am not sure how much more convoluted this show could have gotten but it pushed the limits. The outer limits. Come experience the insanity with me. Here is DRAMAtical Murder episode 11. Spoilers for...everything.

Why are you doubting that Toue is the baddie?!

Episode Summary: Toue makes an announcement to his mostly brainwashed citizens to Platinum Jail. That he is going to have a huge ceremony in 2 days for the anniversary but first…a great piece of news. Toue has a son named Sei and here is he. Good thing most of these people are already brainwashed or they would have noticed how out of it this kid really was. After this announcement Quiet Kid Sei is placed in a chair and not looking so hot. He wants Aoba it seems. Elsewhere Aoba and Minks have woken up from Scrap land and Aoba is upset that Minks is on a suicide mission. He tells Minks to live when answers are not forthcoming. Minks responds that he is done with Aoba and is going on alone. Aoba is like um no you are my new best friend forever we must beat Toue! So Minks has plans to take nice Aoba on their little field trip but they are confronted by actual guards. They have orders not to shoot and Minks and Aoba get separated from each other in the chaos. Aoba wonders why he is allowed to live when he runs into a dead end. Just as things look pretty bad for Aoba…the door magically opens. Aoba thinks something is up and of course it is. Behold Sei the Quiet boy is there and TALKING! Happy to see Aoba. Of course Aoba has no idea who this poorly dressed guy is and is on edge. Sei shows Aoba that he has been the one sending the video games to him and the invite to Platinum Jail. Aoba is like oh so you made this trap that got all my new bestest friends hurt. Before Aoba can hate Sei forever Sei is like NOOOO I just wanted you to come see me. And break me with your power. Only you can do it Aoba….before Sei disappears into nothingness because he is just a hologram. Aoba stands there all confused like is this my life when he is hit on the head and knocked unconscious. Ah yes this is Aoba’s life. When he comes to he thinks all is okay when he sees his friends Virus and Trip but…he is tied to a chair so this is probably bad news. The not twins smile and say TADA we are Morphine and we work for Toue hahahaha. We know about your power and how valuable you are. Then they open their mouths and out comes a never ending story of what the hell.

I said sleep in shifts!

Once upon a time there was a crazy man named Toue who wanted to brainwash people and take over the world. He hired Grams to do research and uses the info to make designer babies. Aoba and his twin brother Sei were the result. They were connected by their hair which was actually a set of nerves. Both were born with special powers and Toue was like haha I will take over the world. Apparently Aoba was born dead (even though he didn’t look like it) and Grams was horrified her data was used in this way. So she ran away with dead Aoba to save him from being experimented on. But he came back to life and tada she raised him. This led only Sei to be experimented on as his eyes can brainwash people. Aoba grew up and started playing Rhyme. He used his Scrap power to hurt someone in the game and Virus and Trip changed Aoba’s memories and covered it up because while they do work for Toue they find Aoba and Sei personally interested. When Noiz challenged Aoba and he used his Scrap power again Toue was able to find him and here we are now. Sei is going to be used in this special anniversary brainwashing and probably for the last time as he is dying due to all these experiments. But everything is okay in Toue land because he has found the not dead Aoba and will have a back up Scrapper. Aoba blinks back confused tears and asks why his friends would do this to him, take him to Toue while they know all the evil he does. Virus and Trip are like…what? We don’t like Toue, we like Sei and think he is interesting. And we think you are interesting. And we aren’t giving you to Toue…we want you WOOHOO! Who cares if Toue is taking over the world lalala. Morphine boys, lets play with Aoba. I assume this means really bad things for Aoba but then all of Aoba’s real boyfriends bust in. ALL OF THEM. Even Clear and his bandaids. They can’t allow Aoba to be hurt. Virus and Trip ran away while the other Morphine dudes get their butts kicked. The others act like they want to leave the tower but now Aoba has a mission to find his twin Sei. The others decide to fight Morphine so Aoba can make it out of their safely. Minks is the only one who joins Aoba as well as a more broken Ren. Aoba is concerned with Ren but Ren insists on going on. They run out of the room as Koujaku, Noiz, and Clear use their best abilities to stall for time. Before they run out though Noiz and Aoba both notice Ren is infected with some sort of virus. Aoba yells at Ren for not telling him but all Ren wants to do is help Aoba and not complain. Minks and Aoba finally find Toue and Minks attempts to kill him with a million bullets. Toue is a hologram but that doesn’t matter as he can still use his artificial Scrap power (because it is natural in the twins?) on someone. He starts to affect Minks as the man screams in pain. Then magically Minks gets better because Aoba told him earlier to live and Aoba is stronger than Toue. Toue gets smirky and says let the games begin. Minks decides to go alone to find Toue while Aoba goes…wherever he needs to go. Off Aoba goes but he doesn’t make it very far as he checks on Ren who is not feeling very cute right now. He has been totally infected and attacks Aoba. He bites him and infects him with..something. Oh snap now what is going to happen on this crazy ass show? THE END!

I am guessing this is where the BAD ending for Aoba happens in the game?

This is my face folks. -_________________- My head is made of lines but yes this is my face and how I looked watching this episode. Every once in a while I would make a crazy WTF look and turned to the side, like someone was watching me watch this show and I had to show them my reaction to said show. Show. I shall say show a million more times. Just….just….how is this all possible?!!? Is this show real life? Are aliens going to touch down next episode? Riding in giant mechas? While wearing shorty shorts and having giant boobies? And being zombies? WHAT MORE CAN THIS SHOW HAVE?!

I like that while Aoba and Minks (I actually think his name is Mink but at this point it is drilled into my brain as Minks so…too bad for me) were having their Scrap meeting Toue was off doing some more random brainwashing. Because..he couldn’t send people to capture Aoba and kill Minks and steal his scent rock. BECAUSE THAT WOULD MAKE SENSE! Instead he had to have some announcement about how he has adopted a son or has a son (the translation was weird) that very moment folks. A pre announcement for the celebration that was to come. I have no idea how Toue is going to take over the world if he keeps making these amateur mistakes. How did he get this far in his evil plan if he doesn’t have enough minions on staff?

Well at least he didn't get hit this time....

Aoba and Minks wake up from Scrap land and Aoba is like MOG you want to die and Minks is like….we are the same. Last time I checked Aoba doesn’t want to die. Maybe he smells like death because everyone around him is continuously getting hurt but I guess that isn’t fair. Anyway Aoba tells Minks he needs to live and Minks is like..you know what. Change of heart. I no longer want to use your power to get to Toue. I am going to do this on my own. Peace out. You can stay here alone while I go into danger. Because he certainly would be okay if he was left alone. With no gun or guard. Yeah that was totally going to happen folks. I guess Minks wasn’t thinking clearly, he just…got touched by Aoba’s kindness and since he was going off to die he didn’t want to involve the kid anymore. So off they go together.

Someone suffers from the dramatics....

For about 5 seconds. Because while the cop and his minions are off being Scrapped Toue does have SOME people on staff. None of them know how to shoot but there are some guards. Don’t shoot the guy in blue. Minks and Aoba get separated pretty fast which is bad for Aoba who is alone. Oh wait he has Ren. A tiny dog and no gun. This will end well. He has a bit of a problem when he ran into a dead end but the door was magically opened before he was found by said guards. He can just hide out here and wait for Minks to find him……Or or….that quiet boy will find him. You know, Sei the kid Toue says is his son? The one who is not looking too great? Well after the press conference he painful sat in the chair and looked for Aoba. Then poof….he did something, communicated via magical floating screen to Aoba. At first it looked like this Sei kid was there but he wasn’t so whatevs. And hot damn was Aoba pissed at first. He was all like halt who goes there and Sei shows him that he is the one who sent the useless video game and invite to Platinum Jail. Aoba was like aww hell no you are the one who sent all the people after my best friends forever aren’t you?! I hate you! Let me just attack you with my stern face and…….err my not gun. Sei manages to say all he wanted was for Aoba to find him and use his Scrap power to break him because he is at his limit before he poofs into the breeze. Aoba is like….great now I got to find this Sei guy and hear his sob story so I feel bad for him and want to save/love him later. Just great.

Did I mention that Scrap doesn't work on these two because of contact lenses and earrings? Because yeah....

Aoba doesn’t make it very far in making his harem larger because he gets hit on the head. I am sure he has brain damage now from all the blows to the head this kid has taken. So who is next on private time with Aobaness? Oh look it is the not blond twins Virus and Trip. I haven’t bothered to learn which is which since they do look the same and basically answer each others questions and finish the others sentences. Anyway so you know how they have been….well not really seen that much but when they have been around they drop info that they really shouldn’t know (IE the cops coming for him) . So SURPRISE they are really Morphine. The head of Morphine because we already have seen Morphine this entire time. We know that Toue uses this group to get more brainwashed recruits and what not. So…yeah is this great reveal anything amazing? Virus and Trip work for Toue. They have been grooming this kid for a while. They will take him to Toue now. And Aoba will use Scrap on them to heal their minds and ask them to join his harem.

I just...I just don't even know...

Or not one of those things happened at all. We did however get a giant walk down memory lane. One that involved Jesus riding a dinosaur on the way to Mount Doom to stop the Zombie Apocalypse from occurring. I mean…..really folks. Really. How much more convoluted did this back-story needed to be? I mean I guess Aoba could have been an alien. Or born a girl. A transgendered alien who is actually straight with all these gay boys trying to impregnate him. Who is actually a giant crystal that can power a giant mecha buried deep on the moon. I am saying all of this in a joking manner but this is how I seriously felt watching this episode. I had to pause this episode several times because I couldn’t believe what was being told. I felt as if every possible WTF moment was crammed into this show/game just for the shock factor, who cares if it makes any sense. Just….while I know this show isn’t possible in real life some realm of reality would have been appreciated. Instead we got Sharknado 3: In Space.

Born from what?!?!

I don’t even know where to begin. I guess it would have been natural if Toue was Aoba’s dad. I think while Toue said at the beginning of the episode Sei was his son he really doesn’t see either boys like that. But I am sure these test tubes babies had Toue’s sperm or specially picked sperm. Mom is unknown. Grams might actually think of herself as a Grandmother since she was behind their creation accidentally. Not sure how her studying the brain made it possible to create such special babies but we are just supposed to nod and feel bad for Grams being used. Also we are supposed to nod our heads with the fact that Aoba and Sei were born connected by their thread hair. Do you see my face folks? Do you? What the hell does nerve hair have to do with anything? It hurts when someone touches Aoba’s hair but how does that have to do with their powers? Maybe next time when Aoba finds Sei it will turn out they shared thoughts through that hair and being separated made it hurt. I have no idea. If you are designing these babies and they were connected in some way why not disconnect them? Probably for the same reason that Aoba was born dead. That probably would entail being born. From a vagina. Or stomach. Aoba and Sei were floating around in test tube goo like test tube babies usually are. So……….how was Aoba born dead? Wouldn’t he just be dead dead? Like not alive, stopped growing. I am not sure how Aoba was born dead but then again I am not sure how a dead Aoba would have been used by Toue. Like dance dead fetus dance. But Grams left that part out of her amazing story with Aoba 2 days ago. That she ran away to the island…that Toue bought. Because that is what I would do, run towards more danger.

So two years ago...not a tiny Aoba. I see.

But wait…there’s more. The next one’s a screamer. Okay it really isn’t but whatever. So Toue had Sei the entire time while Aoba was living a life of happiness with Grams. You know that scene of younger Aoba in the hospital, the one where he lost his parents or whatever. Well it turns out that Aoba had this accident about 5 minutes before the anime started. Or recently as Aoba got into Rhyme, caught Noiz, Virus, and Trip’s attention, and had an “accident” during the time Koujaku was off not having fun. So all this Morphine crap from ten years ago is confusing and doesn’t apply to Aoba. The kid played Rhyme last year and has apparently been having problems controlling his power for a while, not just recently. He hurt someone during a Rhyme game and Trip and Virus were like…well this is interesting, let us hurt Aoba so we can keep this under wraps so we can rape him later. Some sort of logic. Grams was okay with the outcome because it helped hide who Aoba was but I guess Noiz was around and saw this happen too thus his insistence. It is actually Noiz’ss fault that all these bad things are happening to Aoba as Toue was going on with life with just Sei as his slave. But once Aoba used his power again in Rhyme Toue was all over that. How dare you Noiz! Well I guess Aoba was on the island and the entire island is in danger so it’s not too big of a deal.

But but....I thought we were pals. You like Toue more than me?!

What part of this magical tale of every possible WTF moment did Aoba find the most upsetting? That Trip and Virus do not love him and want to be part of his harem. And I don’t even think I am being sarcastic with that one. He really thought they were bros but now they are Morphine working for Toue. Well they are more like private contractors. And while Aoba is going on about how evil Toue is and that Virus and Trip shouldn’t work for him they are like oh we know he sucks. We just stick around for the free cookies and what not. Sei is cool with his super power and you are cool with your super power. By the way that twin brother I just told you about..you might want to spend some time with him soon because he is dying do to over experimentation. But we aren’t going to let Toue get his hands on you despite just being in his tower. We are just going to walk out of here and do the awful things Tenchi saw on the internet. Hint: One of their Allmates is a snake. You do the math.

How are you even moving?

Just then the cavalry comes rolling in. All of them. Because all of the security was on break at the same time. Koujaku, Noiz, not dead Clear, and Minks the man full of smiles. All of them there to save their man. Aoba is a good person and is incapable of doing anything alone so he must be saved. I think I blinked or something because I really don’t know where Virus and Trip ended up. They aren’t dead but the gang was really fighting Morphine and the security people who stopped watching Aliens for the 728473 time to do their job. Aoba recovers fast from his almost assault and allows his men to rescue him. Only he wants to continue on the mission alone. Aoba acts like he has a special thing to do now but wasn’t the plan always to take out Toue? It just seemed like a special moment where everyone has to verbalize that they have Aoba’s back and they will let him go off alone….to do something dangerous. Oh okay. Minks goes along too because he apparently needs more time with Aoba.

Koujaku, Noiz, and Clear stay behind to not kill anyone as Aoba runs off with someone who is the most questionable in the whole group. Koujaku and Clear want to waste energy and punch anything that moves while Noiz is like haha suckers. This entire series is supposed to be about technology and want not. Let me hack a few things and get me a new weapon dog hahaha! But on the flip side Aoba has a nice piece of technology that might be acting up. His Allmate Ren downloaded something on the main computer earlier and in return he probably got something in him. Noiz (before Aoba left the room) confirms it is a worm. Aoba gets a little ticked at Ren for hiding this for him. It literally happened about 20 minutes ago in real time so what could Aoba or Ren have done differently? Noiz doesn’t have time to help him and if they stop they might get hurt. So Ren…I guess he thought he was helping Aoba by keeping it a secret. He wants to aid Aoba but I guess he should have told Aoba so maybe Aoba could have shut him off? It wasn’t like he was in use. Could have paused whatever it was in Ren and perhaps helped him later. Since Minks already pointed out that Allmates could be used as weapons in this tower.

Aoba Scrapped me by talking normal. Take that old man!

Everything starts to get fuzzy at this point because I watched this several days ago and I am a slacker. I know Minks doesn’t give two cupcakes about Ren’s problems and presses on. They finally reach the place where Toue is supposed to be and TADA he is there in all his stupid glory. I like how he pretends to not know Minks. Like yeah I run around and try to kill so many people they all blend together at this point. But then he was oh yeah I remember you….and guess what? I have Scrap power and I can see into your soul. And then it gets weird . I think it does since my memory is fuzzy. Minks wants to take out Toue but die as well because he has the survivor guilts. Toue then does something to Minks to make him…live? I don’t know. Make him suffer more I suppose. Like let me throw my weight around and not give you what you want. The Minks suffering lasts about 3 seconds before Minks is okay. Like you know what…you making me live isn’t going to work because my new best friend Aoba already used Scrap on me and helped heal my heart so you can’t make me do something I don’t want to do…because Aoba already is. SO THERE! I think that is what happened anyway.

Say it ain't so cute baby Ren!

Toue smirks and Minks pumps him full of lead. Turns out to be another hologram because Toue doesn’t want all this fun to end. Too much fun folks. So Minks has decided to go on and kill Toue and tells Aoba to do what he needs to do. We all know that Aoba means to find Sei but Minks doesn’t know what and should assume Aoba’s plan is to stop Toue as well. With harsh language, not weapons of course. But this gives Aoba and Minks another excuse to separate so we can have a boyfriend moment next week. It seems as if AI robot Ren is going to get a turn. According to very…lovely pics on the internet. How is this going to happen? Well Ren has been infected by a computer virus that has slowly taken over him and he is no longer cute. He has bitten Aoba and…suddenly this magical computer virus has now infected Aoba and he isn’t feeling too well. What have you done Ren and how can Aoba be infected with a computer virus? Because folks. Aliens.

DRAMAtical Murder episode 10

Having half a post on one computer and half on another is not the best way to blog. X___X I try to be fair and give my husband the good desktop when he comes home from a hard days work. So I mainly do the summaries and screenies on the good desktop and all the meat of the post on Dated. So then I have to transfer things over via this blog to combine post. This would probably be less confusing if I hadn't gotten so behind on blogging but you know....I am special.

So what is up now on this Postapolza? Lets knock some DRAMAtical Murder episodes out. Sounds good right? Post two is DRAMAtical Murder episode 10. Spoilers for Minks having a turn with Aoba. That sounds wrong...and it basically is. :(

I hurt everyone I love. Even though they hurt me first and bring it upon themselves most of the time. Woe is me.

Episode Summary: Aoba is sitting very sad on the couch at the end. Everything is his fault apparently. He starts to get another headache so he heads to the kitchen for a glass of water. He thinks to himself (as if we needed flashbacks at this point) about how his voice affects people and that he can use his Scrap power to go into their minds. Grams talking about his powers and that Toue is after him. It is all his fault. Noiz appears to shut the water off from a distracted Aoba. Aoba asks how a NOT dead Clear is doing and apparently Noiz did his best but real repairs are going to have to happen when they get back home. Aoba feels bad that has happened to Clear. Koujaku appears and says he is feeling…well okay. Not 100 percent but he is doing better. Aoba still feels guilty. He has decided that this invitation from Toue is suspicious. Like…this all could have been a trap! Say it ain’t so. He ends up doing some more flashbacking to explain to Noiz and Koujaku (who don’t know yet) that he has a Scrap power and can control people by his voice. It never dawned on Noiz and Koujaku to ask why Aoba was in their brains having a moment. Aoba has some moments himself thinking about the state of mind they were in when he found them, all broken and sad. But he has realized that Toue is brainwashing everyone (duh) and this anniversary event must be a way to brainwash the entire island. And everyone else needs to stay behind at the inn while Aoba goes alone because Toue only wants him and everyone else has been hurt because they were with him. Noiz and Koujaku don’t seem to buy that logic and want to stop Toue and his evil plans. Mink is seen elsewhere with his weapons still. Life in Platinum Jail continues as Aoba thinks to himself. He does go to visit a sleeping Clear so he can feel guilty about that. He lays on his bed alone with Ren trying to think what to do when Mink calls him. Koujaku and Noiz are sleeping so Aoba follows orders and sneaks out alone with just Ren.

I am not sure this kid sees much of anything....

Mink is outside alone with his motorcycle. He says they are going to break into the tower now and Aoba needs to put this program on Ren so Ren can’t be activated as a weapon by the tower. He says he doesn’t know if there will be side effects to the program so Aoba refuses. Minks doesn’t understand why Aoba has attachment to a piece of machine that can be replaced and junked at a moment’s notice. Aoba does his speak again about how he loves his Ren and the Allmate is not replaceable. He stands his ground when Minks demands the program be installed. Minks then decides it is punching Aoba in the face time as he is not listening. Ren gets the program and asks Aoba to install it so he will be fine. Aoba does so and Ren thinks he is fine. If he isn’t he knows Aoba will fix him because they are best friends forever. Minks then tells Aoba to get on the back of the bike as they ride straight to a tower. No more guards here. One of Noiz’s Allmates follows them. They go to the tower and it is a series of breaking in doors and crawling through impossible air vents. Jumping around and what not. Please note that Minks has a huge gun and Aoba has…Ren. They make it to the control room where there is no one else at all because Toue is made of stupid. Minks tells Aoba to use Ren to download or upload something onto the computer. Aoba does so and Minks seems to be satisfied. Ren says he is okay but Aoba notices some lingering computer thingys in his eye. They carry on with Aoba briefly mentioning he wants to stop Toue from taking over the island. As they walk they are cornered by the insane cop and some of his minions. Aoba is all we are so going to die as Minks pulls out some smoke grenade and his gun. He tells Aoba to stay close and a shooting and running they go. They find a room to hide in but this won’t last for long. Minks tries to give Aoba a handgun because clearly that will make it a more even battle. Aoba doesn’t want to use a weapon which makes Minks mad and beat him a bit more. He seems to know about Aoba’s power and is trying to draw it out of him. He keeps on forcing the issues as they are surrounded. Crazy Captain says not to shoot Aoba but the other one is fair game. Suddenly Aoba becomes Scrap Aoba, musing that this is what Minks wanted. He then looks at the others and tells them all to leave. While doing this Scrap Aoba decided to go inside Minks to figure him out. Because he cares. Aoba ends up in Minks mind which is flooded and gross looking. He tries to find Minks but sees a vision of the past instead. It is full of people Aoba knows as if to make this memory easier to understand. Minks’ people had the power to control people’s mind through a certain smell and of course Toue heard about it and came asking for it. When the answer was not yes it was shooting and burning down the village time leaving Minks alone with the secret. So revenge is his game. Aoba finds Minks tied up and realizes the man means to die after the revenge. Minks refuses to allow Aoba to help him and forces the kid out of his mind. Aoba wakes up on the ground and Minks tells them to carry on with the mission. The he and Aoba are the same, that they carry the smell of death. Aoba tells Minks that he has to live though…THE END!

Minks and his people got 5 seconds. Because flashbacks.

HMMM folks. HMMM! How much did I not care for this episode. Let me count the ways. There was time wasted on recaps that we didn’t need, Toue was once again seen doing barely anything (thus he gets no mention in the summary of longness), and it was about Minks, the worst boyfriend/partner in the series.

...we already knew all of this.

Yes folks. The first part of the episode revolved around Aoba thinking to himself about the whole Scrap thing. That Grams told him about this power and he has gone into his friends and what not. All his fault. Like we just saw Clear’s yesterday and in the anime episode Koujaku and Noiz had their moments less than 24 hours ago. WE DO NOT NEED FLASHBACKS! Then there are even more flashbacks later as Noiz and Koujaku wake up and one realizes that Aoba has not told them of his Scrap power yet. He only had that convo with Clear because Clear already knew. Because this stuff only happened a few days ago. Of course they didn’t know. So at least 5 minutes of the episode were spent of Aoba thinking about his power and the guys going OH WOW so that is what you have…and then not being concerned about it.

Didn't you all know this was an obvious trap?!

The reason that Aoba is thinking about this over and over again instead of focusing on the mission of stopping Toue…because he has the guilts. Aoba has the guilts about a lot of things. Aoba also put two and apple together and got purple. He now realized that…getting the invitation to Platinum Jail was suspicious. He just NOW thought that folks. Um Toue is the one trying to brainwash the island and the world and you think getting an invitation to his park is odd now? Oh Aoba. Oh everyone Aoba knows. So Aoba has decided that since all Toue does is brainwash people that this special event in two weeks must be something special. He will take over the entire island!! How dare he! I am sorta wondering though….is Toue has the power to brainwash all these people in Platinum Jail and has the power to brainwash the entire island does he really need Aoba whose voice can only affect those who see it? Or is Toue’s plan contingent on getting Aoba? That would be poor planning since Toue hasn’t really gathered up Aoba yet. Does any of this make sense? X____X

Is this real life? Why are we wasting words on obvious things?!

But yeah folks. Aoba is talking because he has the guilts. Toue is only after him but everyone around him is getting hurt. :( He is the worst person ever. Um you aren’t the one hurting your friends? You actually were going to go alone and they tagged along? Sure some of them tried to protect you…but they mostly got hurt from their own actions. Noiz running off alone, Clear stabbing himself in the head, and Koujaku…well he and Noiz were brainwashed but still. Aoba didn’t hurt anyone. Maybe he should feel guilty about going into their deep personal brains without permission but it was done to save them. But deep down the guilts is really about Mizuki and how Aoba didn’t know what he was doing…because he didn’t know what he was doing. This is all about him and he has dragged others along, his deep friends of a million years. Noiz and Koujaku aren’t down for Aoba’s train of thought, the one that has him fighting Toue alone. Like nope, we must stay up all night, sleep in shifts, make sure that Aoba doesn’t sneak off alone. Sounds like a plan.

Or Noiz and Koujaku are feeling like crap still and need some sleep. Even though they know that Aoba is up to no good they can’t guard him all the time. They won’t be any good to him if they aren’t in top form. So…they went to bed. Aoba went to visit a sleep/healing Clear. While I know Clear was protecting Aoba and it isn’t/shouldn’t matter what he looks like I am glad his eye is covered up. It was kinda gross. After Aoba takes the time to look at his new best friend being all healed Aoba took a moment to think more about how everything sucks. We haven’t gotten a video game update in a while but that was not to be I suppose since the next thing that happens in Minks calling Aoba. I guess the video game thing was more for the viewer’s benefit anyway right?

...And this seems to be the GOOD arc for Minks.

Remember Minks and his minions loading up tons of weapons on vehicles? Well….I don’t see them. Maybe they will show at the end, when everyone leaves the area and mows down Toue, the cop, and the security guard as they run for their lives. For now Minks has a motorcycle, two guns, and his lovely personality. He seems to think that Aoba owes him and it is time to collect. Since Aoba wants to take down Toue he would have agreed anyway but since Minks has to do everything the hard way he manages to tick off the boy who wants to befriend everyone. A pretty hard feat to do. Or maybe he just likes punching Aoba in the face. Minks is making Noiz look like an angel more and more after each encounter.

Ren is my bro!!!! I would never hurt him!

Why was Minks punching Aoba in the face this time? Because they are going to break into Toue’s tower and Allmates will automatically be triggered to turn against them. A program needs to be added to Ren’s memory so he won’t go all postal on them. Where is Minks’ Allmate? I don’t know, didn’t see him. And why not just leave Ren at home? Later Ren does do something to a computer inside the tower but that could have been done by Noiz if they bothered to drag the kid along. I guess we need that part of the plot so Ren can have his boyfriend moment too. Oh yes folks there is going to be a Ren boyfriend moment despite being a dog. Maybe in Rhyme which hasn’t been mentioned in forever. But anyway Minks doesn’t know how safe this program is and frankly doesn’t care. Because he borrowed a page from Noiz’s book and thinks these are just robots that talk. Replaceable. Since Aoba has already had this conversation we knew his stance on the subject. Minks really wasn’t in the mood for listening to Aoba talk about his little buddy Ren so he punched Aoba in the face a few times. Because they have a loving relationship. The punching stops when Ren agrees to the program to help Aoba. Would have liked Ren to look a little upset over this. You know, put the tongue back in or glare. Something.

....How did they fit through this?

After Aoba gets punched in the face he willingly gets on a motorcycle with Minks to go to Toue’s tower of notmanness. I think what happened was Toue told people to move out as the police were in the building. Because it was rather easy for Minks and Aoba to pull off their secret agent moves to break in. I had to laugh a bit at one of their moves, like hello I don’t think I could fit through that hole and you expect me to believe those two men did? Yeah okay let me roll my eyes in the back of my head. Also I thought it was a bit odd that Aoba almost whispered his intent to Minks. Like um excuse me sir, can I have some more please? But it was more like if it is not too much of a bother I would like to stop Toue’s anniversary party of brainwashingness. It is just funny as I makes me wonder what Aoba thinks Minks plan is or why he would go with Minks without knowing his plan or why he thinks that Minks would object to the plan after Grams had that meeting. It was just odd.

Um you okay there Aoba?!

Once they break in they make it to the control room to find no one. Because Toue has plans. Well find but maybe hire more than two Alphas or robots to man the place. Minks and Aoba could have done anything to place. I would have placed explosive but that is just me. I am crazy and what not. Instead all Minks and Aoba do at the moment is download a program from Ren to the main computer. I am not sure why Minks couldn’t just bring the flashdrive and do it directly……because that would make sense….and make Aoba less angry. But there needs to be more plot folks. Ren will succeed with whatever the mission is but something has been done to him. A virus. I bet….a brainwashing virus! So Aoba can go into his little doggie mind. Aoba things that something is up but doesn’t stop to really ask questions. We got drama to get to now, it is Minks’ turn!

I am not sure what was going to happen next according to Minks’ plan but whatever it was it got thrown out the window when CrazyCopMan and his army of idiots rounded the corner to pump them full of lead. Toue does want Aoba back alive right? Maybe hiring CrazyCopMan wasn’t the best idea if getting Aoba back in one piece was the objective. Because he was ready to take down anyone and everyone. Unless all this was for Minks. Knowing what we know now and then about Minks though I don’t think he would have pulled a Koujaku or Clear to protect the kid so this was still risky. But since this is anime Minks and his limited weapons were able to hold their own against ALL THE PEOPLEZ. Long enough to run away and hide for a few more moments. Oh and to hit Aoba some more.

Does Aoba concentrate better when being hit? Because you know...

Why is there more Aoba hitting? Does Minks think this is a turn on? Well it turns out that Minks brought himself an uzi and a tiny little handgun just in case for Aoba. It might have been pink and had a sparkle holster too. One might wonder why Minks didn’t give this to Aoba before they went into the dangerous place of could be killness, I mean I doubt Aoba would have shot him for all the hitting and I would want my allies armed you know..to protect my ass. But none of this matters because Aoba is all like we shouldn’t be fighting at all! …What was Aoba’s plan on taking out Toue? Use harsh language? Send him to the corner? The man kidnapped your Grams. Brainwashed Mizuki. Hurt Koujaku. Plans to take over the world. What more does he have to do for you to want to put a bullet in his head for the greater good? I get that Aoba is supposed to be pure and what not, like good hearted kid who wants everyone to get along and have picnics. But….maybe I would have smacked him in the head too. Take the damn gun.

Scrap Aoba doesn't like being hit a million times in the face. Time for payback.

It is revealed that Minks took Aoba along on this mission of dumb because he knows that Aoba has Scrap power and can control people. I don’t know how he knows. Wait didn’t Minks tell Koujaku this two days ago? WHY WAS KOUJAKU SHOCKED?! Hot damn. But yeah that is why Aoba was important to this mission. Of course the best way to bring out this softer side of Aoba was to rough him up a bit. USE YOUR POWER! Then poof Scrap power was released and out he came to tell all the cops to leave. Which…they didn’t if you noticed. They all just stood around like statues. This Scrap power is rather special. Minks apparently hasn’t been paying attention though because he didn’t know that Aoba could go into the mind of others. I think that Scrap Aoba could care less about other people’s problems but he wanted to know what Minks’ plan was since he was dragged into it. Makes sense to me. Minks probably didn’t know that but then again I wouldn’t force a reaction from someone unless I was sure of the outcome.

But I want to rescue you!!!

Even though Scrap Aoba did the…Scraping Aoba is the one who woke up in the bog that is Minks mind. If I was Aoba I wouldn’t give to figs about this loser but that is not who Aoba is. Onward Aoba goes to solve problems while they are in mortal danger. I am not sure why the people in Minks’ memories looked like people Aoba knew but I don’t think that matters. Since this show revolves around brainwashing and what not Toue hurt Minks in that way as well. Dreads equal…something like Native Americans I guess. And at his tribe or what not there was a certain smell that they could use to control people. It appears that Minks has learned his violent ways from Toue. Toue decided the best way to extract information was to shoot up the place and ask the survivors about this scent. Then when they didn’t cough up the answers burn the entire thing to the ground. Of course Minks is the only one who made it out with his life and the secret of the scent brainwashing and he wants revenge. REVENGE!!!

After being hit a million times Aoba still cares about Minks. I see now.

But as Aoba finds out….Minks also wants to die. All the people who died that day weigh heavily on his heart and revenge is probably the only thing that is keeping him alive right now. Once the revenge is complete he will have no reason to live. Aoba tries to free Minks from the chains inside his head but he has found out that Minks wants to be tied up, he wants to die. Minks doesn’t allow the “healing” to take place and forced Aoba out of his brain. But he isn’t a vegetable like Mizuki. He simply did not want Aoba’s help. For some reason he throws around a cryptic phrase, we both smell like death, to make him and Aoba seem like…not peas in a pod but similar. OH that must be why he punches the kid ever second he gets. I get it now. Only I don’t. And for some reason Aoba feels bad for Minks. I mean I guess you should in general if someone went through that much pain and suffering. But Aoba is the one guy who would open his arms wide for you, to help you. But Minks is still a hater. That is probably understandable as well but it goes back to the whole being hurt by someone so you hurt an innocent instead mentality. So…even though Minks like to bash Aoba in the face Aoba is still like…please live Minks. I don’t think he was Scraping right then so it might not count but I am sure if Clear can survive killing himself Aoba can save Minks. Onward to getting Ren involved in this craziness. Or…seeing what that quiet boy is up to. Something anyway. Until next time!!
