Tokyo Ghoul episode 12 FINAL EPISODE!

I decided it would be a great idea to hit random keys on the keyboard and it caused this entire post to go to the right and I was like X____X. The poor husband. He figured out how to fix it but since I didn't know how I did it I wasn't too helpful in fixing it. Computers and I get along super great folks.
 photo tokyoghoulepisode1217_zps5c9cd6d9.png
Is this going to end well for no one? I am going to guess no.....
I am not sure how everything will look when I hit the publish key but here's hoping everything looks decent. Otherwise post 5 of the night might be a little special. So up now is the final episode of Tokyo Ghoul. Spoilers for everything from the last episode not getting resolved in this episode. No serious folks no idea how everyone else turns out. Just Kaneki. X___X
 photo tokyoghoulepisode1215_zps191d06f5.png
Oh I forgot about that. Probably for good reason too.
Episode Summary: While Doves, Aogiri Tree, and Café de Ghoul are fighting outside Kaneki is strapped to a chair. A chair he has been in for a few days. Jason is still torturing him. Part of the torture is counting backwards by 7 from 1,000 that we heard Kaneki doing earlier. This is something that was done to Jason during his torture. Kaneki tells himself this is the only thing that is keeping him sane, focusing on all the numbers. Jason comes and goes in the room, probably making Kaneki worry when the next round of torture is coming. It turns out that this tool that Rize got rid of and Jason sought to make a new one is…used to cut off Ghoul toes and fingers. Kaneki has been tortured in such a way and Jason is filling a bucket with toes and blood. Jason is fascinated by how quickly Kaneki can regenerate. During the episode Jason reveals it was he and the Doctor (not sure if it was the human one or not) that planned Rize’s death (maybe) so they could create a half Ghoul hybrid. So Jason has known all along that Rize was dead and Kaneki was her. It is not explained why Jason hated Rize so much but there is more knuckle cracking and hurting of Kaneki who just wants to die at t his point. Eventually Jason drags in the two Ghouls who were going to help Kaneki escape. Apparently they are a couple and Jason wants Kaneki to pick which one will be killed in front of him. Kaneki slowly loses his mind, thinking that picking would somehow make him the killer and he could never do such a thing. The boy Ghoul begs Kaneki to pick him to die and Kaneki says if someone has to die make it him. Jason just keeps going and going until he kills the girl first then the boy. Kaneki cries in anguish. After a while Jason comes in and says that his time with Kaneki is done, that he is to fight now and he is going to kill Kaneki. It is implied that Jason is going to eat Kaneki although that might not be the real purpose of creating Kaneki. As Jason approaches Kaneki he sees the boy has white hair.
 photo tokyoghoulepisode1212_zpsf1cb0dca.png
Haven't I been tortured enough?! Why do you have to talk to me too?!
During this entire episode Kaneki was losing his marbles. Besides counting backwards Kaneki would retreat into his own mind that was full of white flowers. At one point he thought his mother had arrived to save him but it was Rize. How not fun. X___x. Kaneki is no longer safe in his own mind as Rize transforms all the flowers into red and has her own mindset on things. She basically thinks Kaneki is being weak and that he needs to stick up for himself. Or at least make some big boy decisions. When Kaneki fails to pick a survivor and both Ghouls die Rize is there to tell Kaneki it is his fault and he should have picked someone to live. Kaneki operates his life under the philosophy his mother taught him, it is better to be hurt than hurt. Rize wants to go down this memory lane. None of it includes dad as he was already dead. His mother worked like 3 jobs but still had time to help him read and learn harder words. He loved how kind his mother was and felt such sadness when she died, a sadness that only Hide could help fill. Rize keeps cutting into Kaneki as the episode goes on, starting off with the idea that his mother was not that kind. It is revealed that the mother would give money to her younger freeloading sister all the time instead of saying no and eventually the mom died from over working. Rize forces Kaneki to realize he was pissed that his mother didn’t choose him in life. He is eventually able to vocalize that he was upset enough to wish his aunt dead. Rize tries to take it further, that life is all suffering and to be okay Kaneki has to hurt others and what not. Kaneki doesn’t go that far but decides to stop being a pushover when Rize brings up that Jason will probably go on to kill his friends after he is dead, including Hide whom he has lied to. So when Jason approaches Kaneki he has accepted Rize into him soul thus the white hair? I don’t know. Suddenly Kaneki turns into a zombie ninja Ghoul and is able to escape the chair. He breaks his own leg to get away from Jason’s attack and receives several serious blows. Kaneki is like…do you think that could hurt me after all you have done to me and continues fighting. Jason gets more and more upset and loses his mind, saying he is going to eat Kaneki. Kaneki starts acting like Jason, finger cracking and what not and proceeds to use his own kagune to defeat Jason so he can help his friends. The series ends with Kaneki pinning Jason to the ground, demanding his start counting backwards while he eats Jason. THE END!

THE ENTIRE EPISODE FOLKS!
So…that was a fun 24 minutes. And by fun I mean scarred for life. That was 24 minutes of torture, both physical and psychological on poor Kaneki. Then poof…he snaps and becomes mini Jason and the episode ends. Ends for a while. It has been confirmed there will be a second season but still. Cliff hanger is very cliff hangery and not….well…you know…positive. I know animes are not all rainbows and kittens like American cartoons but just…my eyes.
 photo tokyoghoulepisode127_zpse99fc2e4.png
So it wasn't the nails that were removed...it was all the toes. I see.
Did I mention I was eating while this was all going on? I am usually okay with those kinds of things, as long as it doesn’t involve eyes or needles. And maybe there is a disclaimer played in Japan before the actual episode. But I can see how people might be running and puking like Kaneki did when he was in Ghoul denial. So while I have complained about censors before…I think it was okay in this episode. Because just imagining things was okay enough for me. I could just imagine buckets full of blood and the floor covered in Kaneki fingers and toes. My brain folks.
 photo tokyoghoulepisode129_zps04cb8557.png
Making a half Ghoul sounds like FUN!
Oh yes folks. While there wasn’t much…material covered in this episode we did find out what the weapon was that Jason lost to Rize and had Dad Doc make before assisting in his demise. It is a Ghoul toe and finger cutter offer. Because folks…I don’t even know. I am pretty sure metal went through Rize pretty well with those steel beams and what not. Kaneki’s head went through glass. I am not sure why so much was put on this magical tool that Mado needed to understand when it looked like something you could find at any car repair place. But yes folks. We know what the weapon is used for. Oh my lunch.
 photo tokyoghoulepisode1216_zpsc3422857.png
But before Kaneki's life got all horrible because of Ghouls he had to a pretty asshole Aunt. Yay family!
Most of the episode had to do with Jason and Rize. Jason was beating the shit out of Kaneki and cutting off his fingers and toes. Because Kaneki has a grand rate of regeneration. How much fun for Jason as he confirms that Kaneki has been kidnapped for a few days and not a few months like I feared in the last episode. Jason was also being a bit of an unreliable villain when he was sending people to look for Rize when he knew good and well that Rize was dead. Since this show just ended at an odd point we don’t know for certain is Jason was the one who killed Rize. We could assume that since Jason was after her before (for reasons unknown also) he might have caught up with her during her dinner date with Kaneki. What makes no sense at all is why Jason and this (what I also assume) human doctor decided to use Ghoul parts in a human. I am not sure what would be gained from that since half Ghouls are stronger than regular Ghouls. I would believe more in this storyline if we saw follow up visits with this doctor and some shady behavior. This is out of nowhere but might explain why the organs weren’t checked and what not. My poor logic.
 photo tokyoghoulepisode1210_zps9950c779.png
Thanks for the numbers?
None of this explains why Jason wants to kill Kaneki now. He went through all this trouble to create Kaneki and allowed him to get involved with peace loving Ghouls only to be kidnapped, tortured, and eventually eaten? Jason seems to hate binge eaters and gourmet Ghouls so why would he go to the trouble of making such a tasty Kaneki to eat? Maybe I am thinking about this way too much. Too much braining and trying to figure out why a crazy person is doing something crazy. Jason does seem to have a split personality so maybe part of him wanted a half Ghoul minion and the other half is like KILL EVERYTHING BECAUSE I AM OFF MY ROCKER!!!! Oh my soul.
 photo tokyoghoulepisode1218_zps7a94e23a.png
:( Kaneki don't feel too bad. Jason was going to kill them both anyway.
While Rize did most of the mental torture this episode Jason wasn’t left out of that department. Kaneki took the time to mention that Jason taught him a technique to deal with the torture. One that he had done to him when he was captured by Doves but I doubt Kaneki knows that. Like Kaneki….stop trying to find the good in everything. Talking about the numbers being the only thing that was keeping him sane. Thanks torturer. But Jason ups the odds by bringing in two of his minions (or really Banjou’s minions but whatever). Like look I sent these two Ghouls in and I knew they wanted to break you out because I am not made of stupid. Now you will pick which one will live. Or die. Whatever makes it easier to make your decision. Seeing the kind of person Kaneki is Jason knew exactly what he was doing to the boy. Making him into a killer in his eyes. Also Jason was going to kill both of them anyway. And if he did spare one that survivor was going to attack Jason and get killed. So either way both Ghouls were dead and Jason was going to kill them. Jason just made it torturous for Kaneki mentally. Who do I pick?! Will the other forgive me? Will the other be upset with survivor guilt? Kill me instead!!!! So yeah..Jason and his increasingly poorly drawn face knows how to affect a prisoner in all ways. Oh my poor heart.
 photo tokyoghoulepisode128_zps865c412d.png
A few months but you know..you are dead.
Rize had her torture as well but all of it mental as she is dead. Super dead. First episode dead. I am sure whatever she is thought she was also helping Kaneki but yeah…not really. Take the two dead Ghouls. I think it is easy to blame Kaneki for not picking. Like all you had to do is say a name and one person could live. Why couldn’t you do it?! Well Kaneki did offer himself up as a dead Ghoul if someone had to die. And yes he did make it partial about himself, that he couldn’t do that and become a killer by proxy. But that was the point of that torture. Plus like I already said Jason was going to kill both anyway. But Rize and her dead self watering the white flowers red made it sound like Kaneki was weak and rather be hurt than be hurt and it was all his fault. Like there was a chance one of the other Ghouls was going to live. Yeah right Rize. Oh my poor ears.
 photo tokyoghoulepisode1214_zps3c1c9d4c.png
Oh...well...you might want to change that way of thinking.
Maybe Rize isn’t even there. As we see in this episode Kaneki has some deep anger issues. Maybe Kaneki has two sides of him. And not a Ghoul or human side but more like angry Kaneki and good Kaneki. A boy who thought he had to be good. And the reality side/angry side of Kaneki just took on the form of Rize to get him to confront his fears and what not. Or she really could be in there as Ghouls have not been explained at all and she lives in his soul now. Kaneki must have been escaping into his brain as counting numbers really can’t block out all that torture. His white flower field is probably how he wanted to live his life, pure and not hurting others. Rize and her red growing flowers were all about rage, revenge, and death. Marketed as being strong and not being pushed around of course. Kaneki had some issues early on with Rize talking but near the end he decided to be him, a combo of her and Rize. But that took some work. Oh my poor fingers typing all this crazy.
 photo tokyoghoulepisode1213_zps6549372f.png
:( Kaneki hasn't gotten many breaks in life has he?
Even without Jason doing his demonstration with the two friend Ghouls Rize had more than enough material to torture Kaneki with. It almost turned into A Christmas Carol up in this place. The past, present, and future if Kaneki doesn’t get his act straight. Lets start with the mom. When Toka was talking about families the other day Kaneki was hush hush about things. Like oh my parents died before I could really get to know them. Well apparently he is a giant liar. Or just didn’t want to admit things as he and Toka have a weird relationship. His dad did die early in life but Kaneki was old enough to remember his mother. Shame on Rize for doing this. I mean…obviously she is evil but come on. This is a dead woman and Kaneki obviously wants to remember things in rose colored glasses kinda of way. Let the boy has his delusions. Oh my poor mommy issues.
 photo tokyoghoulepisode1219_zpsed124843.png
Thanks for all this support Rize. But what can we expect from a person who tried to eat Kaneki....
But Rize had to go there. Because it was Kaneki’s mother who taught him to be like this. I don’t see them being the same person. Kaneki’s mom was a push over, a punching bag. She had a child to look after. Kaneki wanting to put others above himself and not hurt anyone doesn’t really hurt anyone but him. Yeah the people left behind will be sad but none of them are really his immediate responsibility. He is not leaving behind people who are counting on him, just people that like him. Does that make sense? And he is not going out of his way to die. Since he is being tortured right now him dying for others would be okay in his book. And when they are in battle Kaneki isn’t throwing himself on swords. He is trying to do what is best for everyone and if he dies during battle and someone else is saved that is okay. Oh my poor ability to be useful in the zombie apocalypse.
 photo tokyoghoulepisode1220_zpsb85bb159.png
That doesn't make Kaneki a bad person. :( Just a nice guy who gave his mother some slack.
His mother…..was a single mom. Dad died and I am not sure how the support system works in Japan. I am sure if she was careful with her money they could have had ends meet if she had 1.5 jobs. But apparently mom had a real loser sister who thought taking money from her young nephew was an okay thing to do. How can one person be so cruel? This lady already lost her husband. Now she has no social life and barely sees her son because she has to work THREE jobs so her dumbass greedy sister can get money for clothes and make-up. I mean….how deplorable is this girl? While the mother is dumb for doing all of this the real villain is the sister. The aunt. After the mom died where did Kaneki go to live? He said he had nowhere to go. So I am going to assume the grandparents were dead and this stellar human being didn’t take in her nephew. Scum. Oh my poor ability to articulate things in a clear manner. Rize’s point down this memory lane of sadness was to show Kaneki things were not as they remember them. The mom was hard working and loved Kaneki. But Kaneki grew up alone. The mother barely had any time for him and died from overworking. She told Kaneki it was better to hurt than be hurt. That doesn’t mean be a doormat. Sometimes in life you have to be selfish and think of yourself. Or in the case your son. Kaneki tried to suck it up all these years but Rize and her creepy red flowers point out that Kaneki is really resentful. That he wishes his mom had made better decisions. What about him?!?!?! Oh my poor little Kaneki.
 photo tokyoghoulepisode122_zps665d621b.png
So if people die it's his fault for being tortured to death? Thanks Rize.
But Rize takes it too far. Way too far. I am not sure how him being tortured by Jason means all those around him will die (present and future times now). He is the newest Ghoul and while he might have the most potential he doesn’t know how to use his powers properly. And even though he has been healing….he keeps getting his toes and fingers cut off!!! Like give the kid a break. Other people killing Hinami and Toka isn’t due to anything Kaneki doesn’t do (wait what) and if Hide dies how is that Kaneki’s fault?! I mean…..Kaneki not telling Hide about being a Ghoul is to keep both of them safe. Rize was making a lot of wild accusations. Twisting things and making Kaneki sound like a weak person. Kaneki wanted his mom to take care of him. He didn’t want his aunt to die. Rize was making it all black and white. Or red and white. If Kaneki doesn’t want to hurt he has to hurt. Embrace the darkside because there is no other way to be. Oh my poor Zach on Big Brother this season. I sorta just felt like saying that so…
 photo tokyoghoulepisode121_zpsdd232e4a.png
I will become badass but not lose myself in the hatred like you did. I think.
Kaneki takes his all in….and decides that he is going to be him. He is going to acknowledge his past was horrible, that Hide probably deserves the truth, and that if he doesn’t pull through Jason will just keep on killing. But he is not going to take a ride on the crazy train to Rize land. Sometimes there is a third option. The world might be a messed up place but you don’t have to hurt people. Kaneki doesn’t have to go out of his way to hurt people like Jason does. Kaneki can collect suicide people and eat them and protect his friends when they are in danger. So Kaneki decides to accept his Ghoul side but won’t accept Rize’s view on life. A bit disappointing for her as she probably wanted to take over him completely and live her life again. I think. But as long as Kaneki goes out of his mind some of the time I guess that is good enough for her. Oh my poor nose of imagining how gross those red flowers smelled.
 photo tokyoghoulepisode124_zpsf1a1f45e.png
That would be Kaneki and his foot twisting a million times.
So you know how Kaneki made it a big deal that he wasn’t going to be like Rize? Well…I am not sure what happened from then to 5 seconds in the future but Kaneki turned into a mini Jason. Which is probably a lot worse than Rize. I didn’t see her killing fellow Ghouls and there were some Ghouls that liked her. I know that deep down Kaneki has really tortured from days and he broke inside. Anyone would break inside if they reached the point where they asked to die and had to watch others die instead of him. So DEEP down I know that Kaneki probably should…be expected to act a little insane. I think I wouldn’t have minded the savage beast attacking. Like I am going to mess you up and turned into a spider monkey. But him morphin into Jason what with the finger cracking and other mannerisms scared me. Jason turned into a torturer after being tortured and I don’t want Kaneki to turn into the same thing. Had there been another episode we could see that Kaneki had lost his mind only for 5 minutes and will be back to Kaneki.
 photo tokyoghoulepisode125_zps482595f2.png
And Kaneki broke into tiny little pieces.++
Well sorta anyway. I don’t think it would be easy to come back from that. Especially now that Kaneki has embraced the kill or be killed side. Not totally Rize but not pushover Kaneki. So Kaneki will have some changes in him. I just don’t want his core to be gone. He can still care about people but put more effort in being proactive. I don’t want him picking up toe and finger cutting tools and going to town. Also when Kaneki is seriously hurt in battle I want him to react in such a way that he acknowledges the pain. That he still feels things and isn’t a monster. Because when he broke away from Jason and twisted his leg like a piece of string I was worried. Like um who you be Kaneki? Also…he sorta just morphed into someone who could fight really well. You can have the fire and desire to kick ass but that doesn’t mean you have the experience to do so. It just seemed like a giant leap to me. Not every single pep talk results in…well those results. Oh my poor late blogging self.
 photo tokyoghoulepisode126_zps433934d5.png
Um...can we have the other Kaneki...just slightly less doormaty?
So in the end Kaneki is able to take down Jason without killing himself. Jason seems to be in slight denial about the whole thing, especially when visions of Rize dance in his head. Kaneki completes this circle of torture by focusing the counting back by 7 thing deal while Kaneki….eats Jason. You are what you eat after all. Again I am not sure I was okay with Kaneki doing that but the man did hurt him and Ghouls do get stronger if they eat strong things. I just don’t want to lose Kaneki to the dark side. He is doing all of this to protect his friends (yay Hide surviving this season!) but I don’t think they would want him to become a horrible person for them. Kaneki has been through a lot though and maybe he needs time to recover and put himself back together. Find a good spot between crazy Rize and push over Kaneki. But since the episode and season just ENDS at this point….of course I am a bit worried for poor little Kaneki. Does that mean the eye patch days are gone? No more lessons with Yomo since he is an ass kicker? But after the battle is done is Kaneki going to have a good cry over what has happened and feel guilty? The old Kaneki might have felt guilty but maybe the new Kaneki will cry a bit and realize tough things have to be done to protect what is yours. With a second season shortly on the way I guess my answers will come. Eventually. But until then…. Oh my poor self having to wait all that time!

Things are looking really bad for Kaneki. Like super bad.
What post number am I on tonight? Let me go back and see. I am trying to keep focused but there are some jerks on Survivor that apparently need my attention. But I am on post 4 for tonight. See folks? I did have things to post. XD I just needed to finish them. Up now though is Tokyo Ghoul episode 11. Spoilers for everyone fighting everyone else?
 photo tokyoghoulepisode117_zpscb601a7c.png
We can do this people but only through your good thoughts. And bullets. Lots and lots of bullets.
Episode Summary: Amon is kicking butt in a new outfit and weapon while Kaneki is off being tortured. Err did I miss something? Let’s rewind to the end of episode 10 before people get even more confused okay there Tokyo Ghoul. Toka is letting anyone who will listen that Shu does not really care for and shouldn’t even be alive to be invited on this mission. Apparently after Toka kicked his ass and left him for dead Shu ate himself to stay alive and has declared himself tasty. Yoshimura points out that they need numbers of their side and Shu is willing to help. It is decided that they will rescue Kaneki when the Doves use their giant numbers to attack Aogiri Tree. In some giant dome like place of an apparent mall Kaneki is being held captive. And tortured. Blood is everywhere, he appears to be missing all his nails, and the censors are blocking any idea of what is really happening. Jason says that Mr. Tatara didn’t need Kaneki so Jason gets to play with him now. Turns out there is a chemical that you can give Ghouls that makes their kagune unable to work but the only want to inject it is through the eye and then I blacked out for like 5 hours because me and eyes don’t mix. It is through the eye and then I blacked out for like 5 hours because me and eyes don’t mix. Amon is sitting in a meeting with other Doves and they are being told how the civilians have been evacuated and that this mall has been taken over by Ghouls for 2 months and over the last week the Aogiri Tree have grown in numbers. He is only half listening though as earlier in the week (day?) he was given one of Mado’s weapons. He was told that this weapon was to be given to him in the event of Mado’s death so he is all like I will treasure it fondly. So then the Doves start to move in on a million buses while all the Ghouls at this mall just watch, as if to wait until it is a gentlemen’s match to start fighting. While the battle is getting started we see Kaneki. He has been tied into a chair somewhere nearby. Jason is doing something to Kaneki that is terrible. Blood is all over the floor and Kaneki is screaming. Jason smirks and says he will return when Kaneki has healed. Banjou is ordered to mop up the mess. He tries to tell Kaneki that help will come and not to give up. Kaneki is not looking too good though so hopefully help comes soon. Banjou also tells Kaneki that he knows Rize is dead and that Kaneki was keeping that a secret to spare his feelings. At the café everyone is looking stoic as the rest are gathered up for battle. On the way to the Ghoul Mall Amon is asked about Jason since he fought the Ghoul and lived to tell the tale. There is talk about why Jason is the way he was. He was captured once and instead of being killed he was tortured and created another personality within himself to deal with the torture. Thus he is an asshole now.
 photo tokyoghoulepisode1115_zps4471bcd0.png
I think more Doves are dying but there were more of them be begin with so I guess it is even?
The Doves start to arrive at the mall whereas Aogiri Tree is on the roof and talking all their main gang stuff. They seem pissed that Jason is not there yet. As soon as everyone is in place the gun shots start to ring out. The Ghouls use their kagune to protect themselves so more Doves die at first. Things turn for the better when Juuzou steals Head Honcho’s motorcycle and crashes into a wall and kills all the snipers. GOOOOOOOAL! Then there is a bunch of battles between Ghouls and Doves. Amon’s friend Mr. Beady Eyes goes to the roof with some people for a specific goal. Kaneki is seen being taken care of by some of Banjou’s friends. He is still not doing great but they promise to rescue him. Toka is slicing through Doves and Ghouls looking for her man. Amon sees Toka and decides it is avenging Mado time. There is one freaky looking Ghoul who is Resident Evil like and kicking ass. Outside the random worker girl and Hinami are still hiding with Yoshimura. The girl is able to hear things and Yoshimura decides he needs to do something to buy the rest of the group more time. Amon does catch up with Toka and she slowly realizes he is looking for revenge in regards to Mado. Two other Ghouls, some special Brothers from Aogiri Tree start fighting Amon instead which allows Toka to escape. Uta and Shu end up fighting against the weird looking Resident Evil Ghoul. While Amon is fighting he realizes he is disadvantaged against these tag teaming brothers. He thinks back to what Mado first taught him about Ghouls. That no matter what Ghouls are stronger and faster than humans so humans have to fight differently if they want to win. Being wily. That Mado has a lot of weapons in his collection and if he dies he will give the perfect one to Amon. So Amon then reveals he had two weapons this entire time and kicks the brothers’ asses. Toka has made it to another part of the building but is nearly taken out by some flying kagune. Nishiki takes the blast for her because they are best friends now. Turns out her brother is the one who did the attacking. Before we can care about that Mr. Beady Eye has made it to the roof with his men when…some giant Ghoul who looks like an Owl has made it there. Apparently he is the baddest of the bad and Head Honcho knows they are all going to die. Amon has made it to the roof but it still doesn’t look good for them. Kaneki is seen in the torture room with white and THE END!
 photo tokyoghoulepisode1118_zpscc8386f6.png
By the way these two are best friends now. In case you blinked.
I think we SAW all the new people from last episode. It just really didn’t matter with bullets flying and censors covering up what really was going on. Because yeah folks…too many names. Too many names and not enough episodes for me to try and remember them all. I mean I am still lazy with calling the Doves Doves when that isn’t officially their names. XD
 photo tokyoghoulepisode1117_zpsf3773756.png
Wait this happens at the end of the episode? I SEE NOW!
Also can this show stop with the false starts? The ones that happen in the middle or end of the episodes? It makes me all confused. Like whoa did I miss another episode and I am super behind? What is going on? Why is Amon kicking butt? Where did he get that weapon and outfit from? I have to pause the episode and make sure I am on the right one. You would think since this happens all the time I would be used to it and just go with the flow but nope. Not me. Gotta make sure I am not totally confused.
 photo tokyoghoulepisode112_zps2026bb74.png
I hope it hasn't been two months of torture. :( Poor Kaneki.
Let’s rewind now folks. Rewind to make what the heck is going on and how much time has passed since Kaneki has been kidnapped. It was slightly confusing to me when Head Honcho was talking about the Aogiri Tree group taking over the mall 2 months ago and Toka yelling at Shu for being there. I know that time can pass and we don’t have to be spoon fed information but then when the Ghouls were going off to battle and waiting the entire café was still covered in Kaneki’s blood. So I am going to go out on a limb that something either got lost in translation or I am confused and lost. Perhaps this mall was taken over 2 months ago was abandoned? Am I thinking way too much into this? I rather Kaneki not be kidnapped for 2 months but the idea t hat he was tortured that much in a short period of time is also awful yes? So yeah folks. We got the good Ghouls acting like this just happened and the Doves are all confusing me. I am going to operate under the impression that this is a right away thing and ignore Head Honcho. I am sure he is used to that.
 photo tokyoghoulepisode1111_zpsc14be74b.png
Thanks for reminding us why you suck so much.
Back to Toka not being down for team Shu. She let everyone and their mother know her opinion on the matter. Like um this is not Kaneki’s best friend. In case anyone forgot that Shu tried to eat Kaneki. I think that Yoshimura has gotten that memo. But since the number of Aogiri Tree members has increased to 300 and they are like 8 strong with Hinami the tiny in the ranks…they need more help. There are a lot of scared Ghouls out there and the jerks have joined the baddies. So beggars can’t be choosers. Plus…if Shu wants to eat Kaneki he very well will want to save him from being eaten by someone else you know? That is my tasty snack! I probably could have done without the info that Shu ate himself to stay alive. Like…thanks. Do not want.
 photo tokyoghoulepisode114_zps2638055f.png
Wait two months? I am so confused.
We see much of what is going on at Doves central through Amon’s eyes. As it should be. I think his friend Mr. Beady Eyes is going to die and Head Honcho will probably live. Given what Juuzou did this episode I think he might live as well. There was a lot of technical stuff going on. Assembling all the buses in Tokyo and getting all the citizens out of Ward 11. I am not sure why there weren’t more attacks during this time. Like nope we should not let the Doves assemble, keep on attacking. I might have put bombs in the buses but that is just me. Also where the heck did they get all those Doves from? Is every other Ward out of workers right now? Did they randomly give normal police officers that title? Super fast training. Because dear goodness that is a lot of Doves. A lot of Doves all over the place. X____X
 photo tokyoghoulepisode116_zps10534f06.png
Onward to the bus of memory lane and death. Probably.
Amon is still thinking about Mado. They worked together for years so I guess that is going to happen despite the fact the viewers hate him and the notsoevil Ghouls despise him. So as long as we have Amon we are going to have flashbacks of Mado. That other dude died too you know. :( In this episode we got the whole Mado told Amon about a weapon he was going to leave him if he died. I found this odd as it wasn’t either one of the weapons Mado previously had. And his third one (first one) broke. So at the least Mado had 4 weapons. Is this Riddick or something? You keep what you kill? I would think it would be a better system to give one weapon per Dove. You can only have a weapon if you kill a Ghoul so it’s not like you can mass produce these things. Hoarders! And if Mado wanted Amon to be the very best, like no one ever was, why not give him the spare weapon to start with? Slightly stupid. But Mado’s super secret tip on beating Ghouls…play dirty.
 photo tokyoghoulepisode1110_zps4f9d8d6b.png
This is probably not a good pep talk......
Before the big mission to use all the Doves and buses in the world to take out Aogiri Tree there was a bit of talk among Amon and his buddy about Jason. Amon fought against the Ghoul and lived to tell the tale so that makes him a bit of a legend. Okay that might be stretching the truth as Amon was nearly pancakes and Mado lost his weapon. Jason was just not in the mood to kill them that day thus they are still alive. Amon neglects to say that. Well some older Doves on the force have a thing or two to say about Jason. He used to go by a different name back then and instead of being killed right away he was held in a detention center of some kind? I suppose there has to be some awful experimentation going on so they can learn more about Ghouls. No matter how much sugar coating is used there is no way around the fact that Jason was tortured. Like was there another Mado out there or something? Kill the Ghouls and save the humans. But apparently someone got it in their brain that torturing Jason would be a great idea. The Ghoul developed a split personality (probably brought on by the cracking of his fingers) to protect himself and that person turned out to be stronger. Jason escaped and now everyone is screwed because the Doves created some really pissed off Ghoul.
 photo tokyoghoulepisode115_zps4fa9b3e2.png
Yeah I didn't need to see the rest of this. Thanks for the censors.
The best part of this Jason story is he isn’t even in charge of the Aogiri Tree. So that means there someone who is bigger and baddier than him. Joy. I get that train of thought because Jason was allowed to have Kaneki. Like…what the point of kidnapping him if he wasn’t bait and the head dude didn’t want Kaneki for his one eye? I am beginning to think there wasn’t a point to that. But you know all that torture that Jason experienced as a Ghoul is captivity. Well now he has snapped all over the place and gives it out tenfold…to other Ghouls. I believe if Rize was still alive she would have received the same treatment as well. So to Kaneki…I am so sorry that you are being tortured at the hands of this mad man for no reason. You have no info and he probably doesn’t even plan to eat you afterwards. You were not the one who hurt and torture him but I guess that is like with bullies and molesters, they never go after the ones who hurt them but other weaker individuals who would never dream of doing things like this. I usually get on about censors covering up too much of the actions and not painting me a clear picture of what is going on. But this time…thanks. I don’t think I needed to see that. Was Kaneki missing all his nails?!
 photo tokyoghoulepisode119_zpsdd3ad164.png
So many people were saying this I am starting to think something bad is going to happen.
Jason really had everything planned out didn’t he? I don’t think I understand still what the big deal is with this Ghoul weapon but now there is a drug that makes Ghouls unable to use their kagune. You know, so they don’t fight back. Poor Kaneki just suffered and suffered, started to count like Jason did when he was captured. The torture took part throughout the entire episode so I really hope it was just a matter of hours that Kaneki was kidnapped and not the 2 months. Still while Kaneki be the same after this? We did see Hide being all worried since he knows what is up but still…..this is too much for my little heart to bear. Banjou and his loyal power rangers were the ones tending to the bleeding mass that was Kaneki and were really upset at his treatment. They would have broke him out eventually but others are coming to the rescue it seems. I hope in the cross fire they aren’t killed by Toka and company. They shouldn’t since their expressions were obvious last time. Also Banjou knows Rize is dead but doesn’t know she is in Kaneki. Because that is lost upon the group that Kaneki is super powerful and him being kidnapped and tortured is just a coincidence on the matter. Also I like how this major assault is going on or about to happen and Jason and his minions are allowed to not be in position. Like lala hurting Kaneki is more important instead.
 photo tokyoghoulepisode1114_zpsb5cb10ef.png
They don't want to be in Aogiri Tree either. Wonder how many other innocent Ghouls are caught up in this.
Since Jason isn’t in charge and Ayato is not in charge I am going to assume that Tatara is the one in charge. I don’t think he was the giant owl one eyed Ghoul at the end though. I mean it could have been him but now I am thinking that was Yoshimura might be that badass. He did say he was going to create a distraction. But in regards to Aogiri Tree Tatara is the one telling what the other Ghouls what to do. And gathering up all the weapons I see. So does that mean there is going to be showdown after showdown? We got a lot of heavy hitters on this Ghoul team and Hinami on the other. I wonder why Ayato is even in this group as he seems….not okay with taking orders. Guess if he hates humans enough joining a group that is going to kill him sounds good to him, even if they are assholes.
 photo tokyoghoulepisode1112_zpsce069d82.png
Because they all have super powers?
So it is time for the battle folks. And it is done old school style. Like everyone assemble in two lines and we shall have a gentlemen’s fight. Okay it wasn’t quite like that but it wasn’t terribly sneaky either. The Ghouls of Aogiri Tree stayed in their mall fortress while the Doves drove up and were allowed to assemble without being attacked. That is of course what I would do. And the Doves were only in one spot it seems and didn’t surround the building like I would have as the Good Ghouls (team Kaneki) were able to have their own spot. You know what…is there a reason why Japan didn’t just…oh I don’t know…bomb the entire area? The Ghouls are centrally located and all the residents were safe? Wouldn’t it be safer for the citizens to lose a few buildings and what not if hundreds of Ghouls were taken out? Like bomb the building and then send in the special weapons? No? This is insanity? Carry on again.
 photo tokyoghoulepisode1113_zps58110675.png
So why is he ranked so low again?
This did not happen because that would make too much sense and Japan and bombs probably wouldn’t go over well anyway. Instead everyone was firing guns at each other for a while. Just…normal bullets. Some Ghouls had used their kagune as sort of shields but just plain bullets. Back and forth firing. I am sure could have taken awhile. That is until Juuzou (who according to the internet is Amon’s new partner…) decides that they are made of steel and are going to save the day. The idea was to take out the snipers and instead of a large group trying to do this Juuzou steals Head Honcho’s motorcycle and basically Resident Evil it into the sniper group of Ghouls without taking a single hit and killing all the Ghouls in that area like a ninja. So…is there a reason why this Juuzou is a lower ranking Dove? Are we sure they are not a Ghoul? Why are they so amazing? While Head Honcho cries over his motorcycle the rest of the group moves towards the building while Juuzou is seen fighting alone and looking creepy. Because he is creepy.
 photo tokyoghoulepisode111_zpse10728bb.png
I got this Mado, I will make you proud!
From there the episode really…well goes all over the place and it was hard to blog. Especially from memory when the actual episode was on the other computer. Kaneki was being tortured in torture land. Toka was making her way independently to Kaneki when Amon sees her. They have a brief moment because Amon still wants to avenge his Pride Mado. How am I able to type that with a straight face I have no idea. Toka I think would have been okay with Amon killing her as long as Kaneki was safe because she has the feels now because she killed a man with a family and what not. But two people in the Aogiri Tree group appear and don’t want to take out Toka. Or don’t realize until she bounces away she is not part of them. Amon was slightly ticked. Earlier in the episode these brothers were portrayed as some top notch Ghouls so I thought this was going to spell trouble for Amon. I think there is still hope for Amon to bring the two groups of people together. Well that is really supposed to be Kaneki’s job but maybe Amon could see things in a different point of view. I have faith he is a good person and just needs to see it from the Ghoul’s point of view. But for now he is dealing with unreasonable Ghouls. While there was a moment where things looked back for Amon he pulls out a win in the end. Mainly Mado did because he was packing so many weapons. I am not sure why Mado didn’t just give Amon this weapon while he was alive. It is not like he can fight with three weapons at one time and if the weapon matched Amon’s fighting style why not make your partner stronger? Because it is insane in Mado’s head. Amon doesn’t think like that and accepts that Mado has gifted him with a super weapon. Flawless victory.
 photo tokyoghoulepisode1119_zps73b24e53.png
I am leaning towards Yoshimura....
After the Amon battle then things got a bit jumble and there wasn’t anything long enough to devote a paragraph to. Uta and Shu are fighting the super creepy looking Ghoul. Kaneki has white hair while being tortured now. Someone at the café has super abilities that work far away thus they aren’t in the battle but protecting Hinami. Nishiki and Toka are going to take on her brother who looks like a jerk. Seriously I think this kid would go out of his way to kill Toka even if he was assigned a different mission. It is personal because Toka doesn’t want to fight all the time? Yeah I feel bad when Toka has to kill him. Amon and his beady eye friend meet with some red shirts on the roof when some GIANT looking Ghoul comes in. He is called an Owl or something and he looks like it. I don’t know why he would look so different from the rest of the Ghouls but it is either Tatara or Yoshimura. It is a toss up. Yoshimura did say he had to make a distraction for the others but Tatara is the leader of the Aogiri Tree so it would make more sense if he was some big tough Ghoul you know? So….yeah folks. Everyone is running around having all these battles and it is dark and confusing. Will any mains die? Will Kaneki be rescued? If Shu accidentally dies I don’t think anyone will cry that many tears but you know…..I guess we will find out next time on this special show!

Tokyo Ghoul episode 10: New characters all over the place!

 photo tokyoghoulepisode101_zps9da7f88b.png
Yeah. Spoilers for THAT happening.
Happy Friday to you all. Unless it is Saturday where you are. Then Happy Saturday. It is officially two weeks til my super early birthday celebrates at Disney woohoo!!!! So excited. But before I get my autograph on at Walt Disney World I need to get some anime posts pumped out so I can start fresh with the new Fall season yes? So what is up now? Tokyo Ghoul episode 10. Spoilers for tripling the cast!!!! X____X
 photo tokyoghoulepisode1011_zps472fe9a4.png
Yeah you are basically toast dude.
Episode Summary: All the Doves at the 11th ward are under attack, dying all over the place by the hands of some mysterious Ghouls. One escapes long enough to call the main branch but is killed while he was talking on the phone with Head Honcho Marude. One of the Ghouls gets on the phone and pisses Marude off. After he gets off the phone this Ghoul heads to the roof to talk to another Ghoul covered in Bandaids and they get ready to leave. They refer to themselves as Tatara and Eto. Yomo and Yoshimura head to the scene and Yomo explains that this group is called the Aogiri Tree. At the café Toka and Kaneki are manning things but with all this chaos going on there are no customers. The bell rings and Kaneki goes to greet the guest but the man grabs him by the throat and demands to see the manager. Toka defuses the situation by making this man Banjou order tea. Apparently him and his power ranger team are looking for Rize. Banjou loses his mind and thinks he smells Rize on Kaneki. He starts manhandling Kaneki again but Kaneki accidentally knocks him out. Oppies. Meanwhile Amon has made it to this super secret meeting of Doves and he goes on and on in his head about the higher ups in the room. It is like a parade of names. Mr. Head Honcho walks in to talk about Ward 11 which the survival rate was zero. Excellent. Banjou wakes up on the café floor and learns Kaneki is not Rize’s man and apologizes a million times. Toka and Kaneki make it sound like Rize is still alive, just not here. Banjou is like I have come to tell her to run. That there is a group called Aogiri Tree that came to the 11th ward and are running things now whether anyone likes it or not and now their eyes are set on Rize. Banjou suggests everyone runs. Then Toka’s little brother Ayato flies through the window and scare the crap out of Banjou, like his hand was caught in the cookie jar. He kicks Banjou around for a bit until Toka gets all glarey. Kaneki realizes they are siblings as they trade insults. Dad apparently is dead and Toka is just as peace loving and wimpy as him while Toka thinks Ayato is insane.
 photo tokyoghoulepisode107_zps76818cd6.png
I don't even know what this is supposed to mean....
While they are trading insults….Jason and his freaky looking friend Nico walk in. Ayato and Banjou look scared. Outside the police station is that odd looking girl with the tattoos. Well it turns out those are stitches that the character likes to play with and she is a boy, looking for the police station. Inside the police station Marude is giving probably the worst pep talk in the history of pep talks. This Aogiri Tree group is like 200 members strong and Ghouls have never band together like this before so even more Ghouls are going to join and it is war time that no one is allowed to quit. Like thanks dude. During this speech the weird boy comes in and it turns out he is a Dove, not a Ghoul. X___X Back at the café Jason and his knuckle cracking self are making everyone nervous. Oh he followed Banjou and not Ayato….oh well he did that. Then Jason decides it stinks and starts throwing Kaneki all over the place. Blood splashes everywhere. They plan on kidnapping him but apparently kidnapping also means try to kill Kaneki and smash his brains on the ground. Kaneki tries fighting and exposes to everyone he is a half Ghoul. The beating continues. Toka tries to help Kaneki but her brother Ayato corners her and kicks her ass instead. Banjou tries to get Jason to calm down and leave. The response is to break windows with Kaneki’s face. Nice suggests stopping as well and is stabbed in the stomach. Jason kills for fun, not to eat apparently. Toka tries to attack at Jason but Ayato hits her out of the way to protect her. They leave with Kaneki and Toka lays broken on the ground. Yomo and Yoshimura get to back to the café and find it a mess. They confirm with Toka that Kaneki has been kidnapped and that they need to contact the others. At the police office Marude explains the plan to everyone while this new creepy Dove boy Juuzou picks at his…stitches. It is decided that they will evacuate ward 11 and move in to stop the Ghouls. Then Marude basically hits on Juuzou which is gross. Mr. beady eye and Amon try to talk about work. Amon is going to get one of Mado’s old weapons and they might go up against Jason. Thinking about Jason triggers a memory with Amon about a Ghoul or a family member who turns out to be a Ghoul eating someone. Hide is at home upset that Kaneki hasn’t answered his calls and it looks like his apartment is conspiracy theory headquarters. Yoshimura gathers everyone up and basically tells them they are not going to go rescue Kaneki. Nishiki at first is the most upset but explains Aogiri Tree is dangerous and when the Doves storm the place…they might die. So byebye Kaneki. Toka is like well I am going to go get him. Hinami and Nishiki agree to help and Yoshimura is like oh haha I was just testing you to make sure you know the risks, here is the plan. But first…their great friend Shu arrives for reinforcements WOOHOO THE END!
 photo tokyoghoulepisode108_zpsd40a2fbf.png
I should have titled this post the episode of demotivating speeches.
So….my brain pretty much melted in this episode. Like okay about 75845 new characters that I probably should learn their names and not much is making sense hurray. On top of that the husband got the desktop from 2007 up and running so now I am trying to blog on this. Downloading anime will have to take place on the other desktop as this computer can barely handle the graphics on Facebook. Downloading and watching an episode might kill it or something.
 photo tokyoghoulepisode1012_zps70572fea.png
NO MORE NAMES!
But back to this episode. My brain melted. We first start off with a bunch of ward 11 people. I am 99.9 percent sure I am not going to have to learn their names as they are all super dead now. All of them. I guess this group of Ghouls waited until no one was on patrol or something and attack? And what an attack it was. It looks Jason might have been there (who is from the 13th ward not like the 11th ward like I thought earlier) kicking some ass. It was especially upsetting for one Dove who tried to call in this horrific attack. I mean he had to know that there was nothing on Earth that could save him. Maybe instant teleportation could have but since that doesn’t exist he was truly screwed. It was just a last ditch effort to warn people and give notice, maybe some information that could help others. Nothing that was given on the phone as he was killed mid-sentence and the call to Mr. Head Honcho was taken over by a Ghoul on the scene. I don’t know who this dude Tatara is or why his partner Eto is covered in bandaids. We didn’t see them the rest of the episode so who knows who important they are going to be. SO MANY NAMES!
 photo tokyoghoulepisode1013_zpsa267bfb3.png
The real question is do any of them need tea?
Yoshimura and Yomo decided to make their way over to the massacre. I am not sure why they would do that. Well it looks like they didn’t go to the building of the Doves as that would be stupid but they went to the other site, the attack that happened outside. I am pretty sure that didn’t happen in ward 20 but since I have no idea what is going I could be wrong. I guess I was just confused on why Yomo and Yoshimura were concerning themselves with this matter. Like….didn’t Yoshimura just say not to kill Doves and bring attention to themselves? I didn’t see Yoshimura wearing a mask either. I don’t know, I just wonder why they were there or what they thought they were going to find. Dead Doves, blood, Ghouls probably did it. I guess this scene existed so Yomo could tell Yoshimura about the group Aogiri Tree and how they are a bunch of insane Ghouls that are causing problems. We already know this but now they have a name. Names are important.
 photo tokyoghoulepisode1015_zps59cded83.png
Flashbacks of people telling me they pay my salary and I need to do what they want.
While Yomo and Yoshimura are on their field trip Toka and Kaneki are actually running the place. WOOHOO Toka has made it back to work everyone have a party. Not that it matters as they aren’t getting many customers as the Ghouls are staying indoors due to the recent attacks and dramas. That’s okay, Toka and Kaneki are Japanese so they will stay productive and busy. And look, here are some customers now. A man named Banjou and his merry men of Power Rangers. Oh yes they came looking for Rize last episode and it appears they are working with Toka’s brother Ayato. I am sure this will all go very well yes?
 photo tokyoghoulepisode1016_zps670ca51e.png
Err see that is a funny story.....
Guess what? XD It doesn’t go well. Banjou walks in like he owns the place with his entourage and starts to act like a jerk. Because that is what people do in this world. Ghouls don’t have enough problems in this world with limited food sources that often get them killed. No no, we got to fight against people who understand our plight and could be potential allies. Because that makes sense. Banjou wants to know where Rize is and why Kaneki smells like her. When answers are not quick enough it is time for Banjou to start throwing punches. The man must have a crush on the dead Ghoul but he was sent here on a mission or so I thought. This….moment of anger was something of his own doing, personally being upset that Kaneki might have tapped that. Since Kaneki has been taking badass classes with Yomo he was able to hold his own and knock out Banjou. No one really got involved with the fight. Toka was like stop…please….stop and the rest of the Power Ranger crew was like yeah boss you are a moron. They did help make Banjou comfortable on the ground though.
 photo tokyoghoulepisode1018_zps750782fb.png
See? Just a big teddy bear.
Once Banjou wakes up things calm down. Like false alarm, this isn’t the person you should be scared of going forward. Banjou just had a moment when he thought Kaneki was hitting that in regards to Rize. I am sure Kaneki was trying not throw up and cry at the same time. Rize has taken a back seat though with talking to Kaneki which makes me a sad panda. Might have been fun to see her smirking. But I guess that part of Kaneki was a bit exaggerated in the prior episodes, to show the viewers how unstable the kid was. Maybe Rize’s consciousness was never there and Kaneki was having a moment. Anyway once Banjou found out he was wrong about Kaneki he basically turned into a giant kitten and was very apologetic. He was here to protect Rize. Turns out he is a part of Aogiri but it doesn’t seem willing on this part. He explains this organization is 200 Ghouls strong and they are overtaking other Ghouls and Doves. Their eye is set on Rize now and Banjou and his crush are here to warn his lady love. For some reason Toka and Kaneki don’t tell the man the truth. Not sure why as it wasn’t like he could super tell what happened with Kaneki. He smells like Rize but I doubt he could put two and two together. And Toka and Kaneki didn’t kill Rize so why scared of the consequences? Don’t give Banjou false hope, tell him the truth.
 photo tokyoghoulepisode1019_zps62429c8f.png
EFF THE GLASS!
5 seconds after Banjou is revealed to not be the big bad bully and he is wants to protect Rize from Aogiri…..some of Aogiri crashes into the café. More specifically Toka’s little brother Ayato. Who really doesn’t look his age and it bothers me so. Unless junior high aged boys in Japan look like 22 male models and living in the United States all my life has blinded me to this fact. Toka at least looks her age. Ghouls age isn’t that interesting? But yeah right when Banjou gets his story out Ayato comes in to throw his weight around and make Banjou act on edge. Before he got too cocky Toka made her presence known and Kaneki was like oh snap here is the brother. I would have assumed by Toka’s aloneness at the café that her entire family was dead but I guess he more assumed that there was a falling out. Not sure when this happened though as the kids aren’t even that old. Perhaps the parents died and they argued at what direction to take next. Seems odd as they should have been leaning on each other. But it all depends on what circumstances their parents died of. Ayato is in the camp of stop being a human huger and join the dark side. Toka seems to straddle the line but moreso leans to I want to live and so do humans. Such tension…sure this kid is here to mess people’s faces up.
 photo tokyoghoulepisode1020_zpsc620bac3.png
No I'm the father!!!!
5 seconds after Ayato walks in….Jason and not Shu walk in. OH. So these are the baddies to fear as Banjou AND Ayato are shaking in fear. It’s like some crazy soap opera episode. People are going to keep walking in the door and being the super baddie until someone else walks in. Until the oldest Ghoul alive and the father of all Ghouls walks in and everyone has peed themselves. Cue the dramatic prairie dog gif. That is how ridiculous things were getting folks. But I think this might be it. Unless the pair from earlier are more amazing than Jason. Rize seemed to be top of her game and a steel beam took her out. So maybe the buck stops at Jason. And his not Shu friend Nico. He made me want to stab my eyes out obviously.
 photo tokyoghoulepisode1014_zps229bb848.png
I think there is someone worse than Jason X____X
So to make this complicated story simple Rize left 11 a long time ago but had friends still in the area. Banjou was forced to join this large group call Aogiri Tree. Once he got word Rize was targeted he went to warn Rize she was next but might have played it up as going to get info on Rize. Ayato is higher on the totem pole and followed Banjou to where he knew his sister and Rize (if she was still alive) would be. From there Jason and Nice followed Ayato as he is a loyal little puppy. And Jason is the one who is looking for Rize and probably has been since the first episode when he tried to hurt Rize and he lost his original weapon. Despite Ayato acting like an asshole he and Banjou both seem equally as upset at Jason’s arrival and don’t do anything to help the situation out. Well Ayato hits Toka so she doesn’t get even more hurt from Jason but that is about it.
 photo tokyoghoulepisode105_zps7c52365b.png
Begging your pardon governor but maybe we can keep the bait alive? Otherwise it doesn't really work?
Jason has figured that if Rize was anywhere she would be here, at Peaceful Café. It isn’t like Jason took a lot of time asking where the woman was or where Yoshimura was. Unless his plan was to kidnap someone from the café while Yoshimura was out so he could have some leverage. Because Rize is the kind of Ghoul who cares about others yes? No? Okay. So yeah…things got bloody. And they got bloody just because as Mado or someone says. A Ghoul that kills for the fun of it, not the hunger. So while Jason doesn’t kill Banjou for maybe being a traitor Nico gets stabbed for suggesting that Jason not completely kill Kaneki. He has priorities you know.
 photo tokyoghoulepisode104_zps3e557680.png
And this was the manageable part of the pain!
Kaneki? That giant blob of blood and probably guts? Yeah he is still alive but I am not sure how. Characters in animes often have triple the amount of blood in their body compared to their human counterparts. Jason wanting to take a hostage means…beat said hostage an inch from death. But since Nishiki and Shu are still alive despite having massive holes in their body maybe Kaneki would have been okay if his skull really had been crushed. Because I thought it had been at one point. Jason saw the one Ghoul eye and went to town, as if to show people what he was all about. Good job big man, picking on someone who is a new Ghoul…not that he knows that. Toka did attempt to protect Kaneki but that just resulted in her butt getting kicked and more broken furniture around the joint. No one else did anything out of fear and probably for good reason. If Nice the friend isn’t safe no one is. Why is Rize so important?
 photo tokyoghoulepisode106_zpsa4643a82.png
This would be Yoshimura being broken up about all that has gone down.
Kaneki the bleeding was kidnapped. Yoshimura and Yomo got home later that day to find the entire café in shambles. Is there a reason why no one owns a cellphone? Like maybe some nearby Ghoul might have noticed the mess and called Yoshimura to let him know what is up? No? Fine. He and Yomo were slightly calm about the entire thing which was a bit eye rolling to me. I know he is supposed to be the mature old man who takes care of everyone but a little bit emotion at kidnapped Kaneki and very hurt Toka would have been nice. No one would have judged him. Instead the old man gathers up the three other café employees and Hinami to talk about how they aren’t going to rescue Kaneki because the Doves are surely going to attack Aogiri with everything they have. And anyone count in the cross fire is going down so yeah…we are not going to save Kaneki. He said this to make Toka, Nishiki, and Hinami to get all up in arms saying they would risk their lives to save Kaneki. Because obviously that is what Yoshimura wanted, for them to come to that conclusion…then lead them into battle and rescue. Oh snap aren’t you so sneaky old man?!
 photo tokyoghoulepisode102_zps27bb9784.png
They make take our lives but they will never take our freedom!!!! RARW SUGAR TITS!
While all this drama is going on the humans have not been idle. After the shock of all the 11th ward Doves dying warnings had to be issued. Not too warning like though because panicking people when it is the perfect time to panic would cause a panic. From there it is Mado entering this special force area and talking about all the higher ups he has heard of. I really, really hope I don’t have to remember all those names. Because it was a lot. It was mainly Mado just saying how important these people were and what not. Then there was talk about how they were going to strike the Ghouls in one week (you know, give them time to organize) and how Aogiri Tree is a massive group. Well rounded. But what do they want?! I don’t know, I guess we need to figure out Blue’s Clues and figure out why the Ghouls are so angry.
 photo tokyoghoulepisode103_zps7432423c.png
Can you just send them via mail next time because YOU'RE CREEPY!
During this meeting and Mado fawning all over people we see the creepy person who pick pocketed Kaneki last episode. The fact that this person (Juuzou) does not have tattoos and those are stitches and he PICKS at them and they move almost made me lose my panda yummys. Or whatever they are. Already took the trash out. Oh I guess the fact that this person is not a Ghoul and is a Dove is a shocker too. Unless they are an undercover Ghoul. Word on the street is Juuzou isn’t ranked very high but there must be a reason why they are here. I am going to ignore Head Honcho hitting on Juuzou because I don’t want to barf. I will just focus on Mr. Beady Eye and Amon having some words. Mado left Amon his weapons which makes sense since they probably belong to the police force and they are hard to come by. This Aogiri tree is run by a Ghoul with one Ghoul eye and Mado was looking for that Ghoul HMMM. Not sure at all why this connected to Amon in terms of a flashback of his childhood. I figured he had a run in with Ghouls but this flashback meant nothing to me. Yet. We shall see.

I often eat my best friends too people.
The episode ends with Yoshimura implying that they are going go after Kaneki. The old man wasn’t too shock that Kaneki was kidnapped. Perhaps they want more one eyed Ghouls in their army? That this one eye Ghoul is a bit lonely and wants a friend? Yes that must be it. Friends. And speaking of friends who walked in to help save Kaneki? Why it is Shu? This will surely work out amazingly now that they have a giant meat shield. XD Until next time!
