K-On!! Season Two Episode 23

K-On!! Where were you yesterday! I do not have too many Wednesdays left with you and you don’t arrive until Thursday? For shame. FOR SHAME! How dare you subbers have lives. I will just sit here and enjoy my new luggage okay!

Such forgotten and old women!

But at least I have my K-On subbed right? It’s not like back in the day when we all had to go 15 miles in the snow to buy our dreadfully out of date anime at 30 dollars a pop. Never again the VHS times.

So spoilers for the last moments of high school life for most of our K-On!! girls. No tears were had but I sense there might be soon.

I can't even remember the last time I ironed...

Episode Summary: Yui is watching TV and trying to iron her uniform for graduation at the same time. Only it doesn’t work because Yui is really engrossed in the show. She gets a phone call from Ritsu and off she goes. To school despite tomorrow being graduation. Azusa is all X_X but has to get to class. Yui meets up with the other girls in the club room to have tea. Yui and Mugi try to have a pocky eating contest but Yui is out in the first bite. The girls get very bored very fast so Yui tries to create a game which fails. Yui and Ritsu are like um we need to clean our desks out still. Mugi get all WOOHOO about the thought of being given Yui and Ritsu’s old notes. They run into Nodoka who is on her way to see Sawako about a graduation speech. The girls decide to stalk Nodoka to the student council room. They walk around and talk about how grown up Nodoka is. Then they spot a yearbook left by the student council members and that Nodoka will be remembered in this school forever. The girls leave Nodoka alone and she looks around the room for the last time, taking in the moment. The girls stalk Azusa (and Jun) because they want bread and apparently it would be too weird for them to buy it themselves.

Well...the last 5 times anyway...

Azusa manages to score the girls the legendary choco bread which none of the older girls had before. Much love was given to the awesome bread. After eating and drinking more tea the girls are still bored so they decide to do things they have never done before. Like Mio feeding the turtle. Very amazing stuff. Mugi’s is using some magic cleaning clothe and while that IS special it inspires the girls to clean the whole club room so yay. After cleaning the girls decide to play music when Azusa arrives. Yui freaks out because they are not leaving behind a legacy and they need to think of something NOW. After some fail ideas the girls are like I KNOW! Azusa arrives at the room and the girls inform her that they are going to record all their songs (on the little cassette we have seen for the whole two seasons) so people will know about them. Azusa is touched. Then the girls need MORE TEA to put the songs in proper order. Mugi tapes the girls talking and Mio and Azusa freak out. After tea and song arrangement recording starts. Sorta. After a few missteps and Sawako arriving the girls record their songs….off screen. The girls happily look over the tape and decide to listen to it…off screen. THE END!

DO SOMETHING!

For the most part this episode was kinda low key and borderline boring. But that’s okay. I have come to accept the Lucky Star type feel of this show. Most of the time anyway.

Well plan something special!

But why the heck did Ritsu call the girls to the school if she had nothing planned? I mean they don’t have a lot of time left to sit around and do nothing. If they wanted to spend this time to their fullest they needed to go out and DO SOMETHING! They drank tea all two seasons! I get having one last tea time but not 5! Go out in the school and remember the times when Yui tripped over that spot or where Mio embarrassed herself on stage with her panties show.

I have kept notes from high school Mugi. You aren't that silly.

So a lot of the show was devoted to a lot of downtime and what do we do now. Which I get. Not every moment of your life is amazing and wonderful. But second to last day of school should have been filled with picture taking opportunities or shenanigans. Or at least make the boring moments more interesting. Yui and her game thing was weird and stupid.

Mugi is more interesting that cleaning.

X_X Mio has never feed Mr. Turtle? Mugi has been waiting forever to use a special sponge? My girls are crazy to the end. But I do think it was a nice thing for them to do, to clean the club room before leaving. I actually thought that was required but…I guess they were enjoying cleaning so it was a positive experience? And maybe while cleaning they had those REMEMBER WHEN MOMENTS?! So that is nice.

MAGIC BREAD OF LOVE!

The chocolate bread thing was nice too. XO How have the girls gone so long without eating the fabled bread? Truly the bread gods have smiled upon them this day. I am glad Azusa went along with their joy as to not ruin the moment. I just think it is funny after three years of eating Mugi’s extremely expensive desserts school bread was the most awesome thing EVER!

We are totally not stalkers...

I think it was nice that the girls went to see Nodoka. Not that they had anyone else to visit as they didn’t talk to anyone else…ever during their entire time at school but it was nice. I do think deep down Nodoka is sad that her relationship with Yui changed so dramatically in high school. Like Yui joined a club and that was that. And I don’t think Nodoka had that many friends either or had time to make new ones. So that is sad.

But I guess it was nice. Put a good thought in the girls’ mind to do something that would leave a legacy. And really Nodoka saved their butts quite a few times so going to see her was needed. Part of that choco bread would have been a nice thank you gift but what can you do? Also I like Nodoka with and without glasses. XD
I really liked what they finally decided to do on their sorta last day of school.

On last time girls!

Ipods are for losers.

And I really like that they decided to record all their songs on that pink cassette. Really tied in a cute theme. Of course they had to be goobers til the very end with the whole we need to drink tea and talk about where the 5 songs should go. But the idea was a super good idea and I loved how excited the girls got. I probably would be all emotional and crap and wouldn’t be able to play. But these girls pulled through and I loved it.

I also loved that Azusa was so excited. I mean it must have been weird for her, them burying the music when HELLO she is still going to be there. But Azusa has always been the one into the music the most and is happy that Yui has finally seen the light. So I was happy for her and am glad she was strong enough to pull through this tough time.

Just...not appealing at all X_X

I have never drank tea in my life and these girls had tea for 8 hours straight. Weirdness.

So we are coming down to the end folks. Get ready for graduation flowers and tears. And probably no music. I fear our music days on K-On are done and gone. But we have at least one episode to look forward to (if not three?). So try to keep the boring scenes to a minimum please so I can probably mourn this series. Thanks.

Harajuku Lovers Zoo Animals Candy Bag: Because one can never have too many bags!

Or can they? I guess since I am not one for shoes and fancy food/clothes don't impress me bags are the way to go. I am going to conveniently forget my expensive figurine and manga habit as that would disprove me point.

Who needs an iPhone anyway?!

But yes people. I now own three Harajuku Lovers totes. Because I am a greedy girl who needs to have more bags than actual stuff to carry around. But that's okay. Because I am going to classify this bag as luggage. And an adult needs luggage to get around in the world right? And look it doesn't have Hello Kitty on it like my mother fears I will one day own. So yes. Luggage people.

Post will be pretty image heavy. Unlike my poor wallet. See how well my money saving idea went? GO ME!

Let's start with the small details. This tote is actually more of a tote and a purse combined to make a luggage piece. At least that is what I think. Because I am a great at explaining things.

The second of the two front pockets. Not sure what I am going to put in there. Maybe spare batteries or something small to find. That way I am not digging around the entire purse looking for things.

Here is the free key chain on the side. I rather have the metal looking one but at least it is different than the one I already have right?

BEHOLD THE PRICE TAG!!! :( I really need to work on my impulse buying. I actually wanted to buy another bag but in purse size. So somehow I managed to walk away with one twice as big and twice the price. HOWEVER!!!! look how much I saved! Ross is so wonderful! Of course...my husband is all like well if you didn't buy it at all you would have all your money...

Quite spacious inside! There is also another opening on the bag so I can separate stuffs.

The zipper charms are so cute. I love the little details all over the bag.

This is how big the luggage strap is. See, luggage! A necessary purchase. The strap is pretty heavy, the metal is thick.

Here is the bag sans luggage strap. So it CAN double as a purse...a rather large tote purse. I am sure I will try it at least once. But it is kinda big. :( I wish to show it off and I can't do that if I only use it as luggage.

This is the back side of the tote. You can see more of the pattern this way as well as where the side pocket is. Zoo animals are too cute for words!

The only thing I wish the tote had more of was giraffes. I LOVE giraffes. But the way the bag was cut there aren't too many showing. This one is on the bottom. Thems the breaks when you buy at a discount store. I was lucky enough to see this print once at Ross who knows if they will have it again. So while I love this tote I wish there were more giraffes.

So that is my new luggage/tote/purse thing. Truly a necessary purchase yes? Okay probably not. But it made me happy. Put a dent in my AWA budget but....I think it was worth it. I need to get my stuff to AWA somehow right? XD So now...NO MORE PURSES! I have enough. Except if it is tiny every day purse. Err...yeah. XD Thanks for indulging in my greediness. Now I must got eat ramen noodles for a month.

Kuroshitsuji II episode 10

BEHOLD THE SPARKLES!

X_X I think watching High School of the Dead and Kuroshitsuji in the same day is a very bad idea. Like ultra bad idea. I need some fluff mixed in with my WTF. My poor mind can’t handle this….brain overload.

But yeah here we go people. On to pedo land and spider webs and eyes. Lots of eyes people.

Spoilers for Claude licking stuff he shouldn’t and for Sebastian acting uncool. Shocking I know.

Ciel is super happy with his lot in life.

Episode Summary: Ciel sleeping peacefully at the Trancy mansion. Claude wakes him and dresses him for the day, being perverted every step of the way. Sebastian is on the edge of the property knocking over every single tree because he can. Ciel (after kicking Claude in his pedo head) orders Claude to investigate the weirdness that is happening in the forest. Claude and Sebastian meet near the fountain where Claude is all like WOOHOO I have Ciel now. Grell is taking pictures of Sebastian being sexy and those two run off to do sexy things. Or Sebastian makes Grell some tea and gets information out of him. The whole Alois is dead and now Ciel is Alois sorta. But Ciel is showing signs that he isn’t on team Claude. He says he just didn’t want to be with Sebastian and he really doesn’t want Claude either. Claude tries reminding him that Ciel will need him to get revenge on a demon but Ciel is all pissy. Claude then goes to a window and sings a love song about Ciel so Sebastian will hear. He does and he and Grell go on a magical journey together with the awesome butlers following. In the garden Ciel is not having fun times and takes it out on some trees. And accidentally Hanna’s head. But he shows remorse and takes her hand kindly.

I'm sure this makes sense....

Grell and Sebastian arrive at the ruined village and there is one lone person left alive. She explains that a small child (Alois’ brother) made a pact with a demon to destroy the village but she was spared because she was kind to him one day. Before she can give any more information the butler trio shoot her down and Sebastian fights them. Using his sexy good looks he gets Grell to chop them thus exposing their memories and seeing that they were behind the village burning thing (maybe). Sebastian is all like AHA and leaves Grell with a hard on. Ciel has another fit and breaks a mirror. Claude orders Hanna to clean up the mess but Ciel is like no YOU and takes Hanna with him. Claude is all XO WHY FACE! Ciel attempts to have a moment with Hanna but then she opens her mouth and there is an eyeball in it. Yeah she ate Alois’ eye and Ciel can see out of it and it is all gross. Ciel screams for a bit and it’s weird. Sebastian shows up at casa de Trancy and he and Claude have a knife fight with Claude slowly losing his mind. They talk about how hard it is being soul eating demons and boo hoo. Suddenly Ciel calls out for Sebastian and Claude is like YOU BROKE A RULE! But then Sebastian is like…..no that is Trancy I am still a butler. Not that any of this matters because el psycho has climbs a tree thing that I swear wasn’t there 5 minutes ago and is probably going to jump. This will end in beers. THE END!

I am pretty sure by the end of this series I might lose my mind. Or maybe people will think I am crazy because I stuck it out this long. Because only insane people can watch this show and be okay.

KICK HIM AGAIN!!!!

It is sad day when I rather Sebastian eat Ciel’s soul than have him spend one more minute with Claude. As I have said before I rather no one eat Ciel and Sebastian actually have real feelings for him but I doubt that is going to happen. So the lesser of two evils would be Sebastian.

And this is me puking.

And why is that? Because Claude is a pedophile now. I know most Kuroshitsuji JOKE about the yaoi…really shota vibes from this show but Claude has done away with the vibes and brought out the proof. And it makes me want to barf. So I am glad that Ciel kicked him. Kick him over and over again while we are at it. I think most fans would agree that the yaoi vibes are better when Ciel is legal. At least that is how I wrap my mind around the situation. NOT RIGHT NOW CLAUDE!

DO NOT WANT!!!

Also Claude if you were trying to build Ciel’s trust congratulations you failed. I have never seen someone fail so hard in my life. We earn the young boy’s trust at first. We don’t break out in the foot kisses and gazing glances right off the bat. Because that is CREEPY!

Sebastian is handling the lack of Ciel very well. And by very well I mean he is knocking down forests and trying to seduce Grell. Everyone has lost their minds and I might barf. I mean I guess if Sebastian can have sex with that nun he can strike a few poses and undress in front of Grell for the cause. Still unstable Sebastian was weird to watch.

It is nice to know despite being a Ciel/Alois creature there is still more Ciel than Alois. I mean I rather him apologized for hitting Hanna but at least he looked like he was sorry and offered her an arm up. I am not sure why he acts so content with her later but since it made Claude mad I am all for it. I just want to know who her eyes remind him of. But yeah I am happy Ciel is still trying to be Ciel.

It is a little surprising that Alois’ brother is behind the destruction of the village. But I guess I should have seen that coming. He wanted to have his brother’s wish fulfilled so bad he went to a demon for help. Not sure at his age if he knew the repercussions of his actions but it explains why he was randomly dead after Alois was dancing around. Sebastian was the contractor right? Meh this is all confusing.

And then the awesome butlers were killed. Makes me sad that we didn’t get to know their back story. Did they even have a story? Were they just misunderstood, used by Claude? But it seems they were present at the village burning down so what does that mean? Does that mean it was really Claude? Because it would have been too far in advance for him to even dream about Ciel. More confusion.

Of course it wasn't as awesome as Sebastian losing his mind...

Claude being turned away by Ciel was amazing. Best moment of the show. Of course I think Hanna will die because of it very soon but you know. It was nice while it lasted.

That is where I keep my extra eyes.

Okay so Hanna got Alois’ eye to make a contract with him. Now Ciel is Alois. She is going to get Alois’ revenge on Sebastian by killing his precious Ciel. Only that will also take out Claude’s snack which I think is awesome. My question is WHY! Why would Hanna want to help out Alois when he poked out her eye?!?!?! Why wouldn’t she want to take this new gentle master and run off with him into the night? Like…I don’t get why she is loyal to Alois at all.

Dear lord how tasty was Ciel's blood?!

Claude losing his mind when he was fighting Sebastian was pretty great. Not as great as Sebastian HIDING because he thought Ciel was calling out to him and he couldn’t be a butler anymore. Really these two strong demons being under the command of a little kid (well two kids…) is amazing.

Save me Sebastian!!!

So that is how things are. Ciel is now Alois. Alois is like woohoo I am in Ciel’s body so watch me throw myself off a random….tree thing to get revenge on both butlers. High School of the Dead Episode 10: Takashi gropes another girl, news at 11

I watched REC last night since Quarantine won’t love me and come on late at night. I am happy that I did because that is what a real zombie movie looks like ya’ll.

I mean not to say High School of the Dead isn’t a real zombie show/movie. I like that they are putting an intelligent spin (in between the boobie shots) on a situation that usually is just a bunch of screaming and chaos. But now it is has taken a turn for the dumb. Le sigh for me.

Fist fight time!!!

Episode Summary: Shizuka is acting all creepy. Takashi is holding a naked Rei down so Shizuka can rub some lotion on her injuries. This being High School of the Dead it looks like Rei is giving Takashi a blow job during this encounter. Then later Rei acts like Takashi should have been the one to rub the lotion on her skin. Weird. Takashi runs downstairs because his life is weird. He runs into Saeko who is wearing a kimono. This embarrasses Takashi as he is only used to seeing her naked. Alice walks in and acts way too happy for a kid who saw her dad killed the other day. Kohta is looking at his guns like a freak. He is called a kid by a worker and Saya walks by to make herself know/defend Kohta. Takashi talks to Saya’s mom and is in awe on how big her house is. Well not really a house but a mini neighborhood but still. Saya’s mom asks Takashi to talk some sense into her. Takashi holds a group meeting in Rei’s room so they can all look at her naked. They need to talk about whether or not they are going to stay with this bigger group, as if it was a real option. Saya is all pissed but Takashi tries to tell her how safe they are here and stuff.

MOG how did L get here?!?!?!

Saya then loses her mind and it turns out she is pissed because her parents choice to save people they saw and not risk everything to run after her when she was probably dead. To stop Saya’s outrage Takashi grabs her by her shirt and shakes her. REALLY NICE TAKASHI! For some reason this act of violence and few words calms her down. Outside Saya’s dad has showed up dressed all weird. He has his best friend in a cage since he is a zombie now. He gathers everyone and kills the bestie to show everyone that even if you love someone times are tough and heads have to roll. This pisses Kohta off because swords suck or something and he runs off. Takashi goes after him and Alice is all up in the way. Saya and Saeko have some fighting words over who gets to bang Takashi. Takashi finds Kohta who has gathered all the groups guns and run off. Kohta needs to guns or he will revert back to being a loser or something. Saya’s mom and dad show up to hear his speech and our entire main group shows up so Saya can tell everyone the only reason she is alive is because of Kohta and they are not dumb kids. Behind the house on of the kids left on a school bus has made it to Saya’s house and calls Shido on what is what. On the bus there is an orgy going on as Shido cackles like a crazy person. THE END!

Seriously people. What the hell is wrong with Takashi? Is it wrong that I hope that he gets blasted to the moon sometime soon?

I mean at least this time he didn’t MOLEST someone. It appeared that he was but he was only holding her by her shirt. Which….makes it okay or something. No not okay but less shitty. Or maybe it made it worse. Not sure how I feel about that, comparing sexual abuse to violent abuse but hear me out.

It appears that whatever Takashi did to Saeko worked and she snapped out of being suicidal. We know that they at least kissed. So….maybe….deep down…she enjoyed him touching her breasts….as I throw up from typing that. So maybe….it wasn’t that horrible in her eyes. HORRIBLE TO ME but not to her. In Saya’s case Takashi threatened her and used violence to get his point across. He used his strength against her and made her feel intimidated due to her smaller frame. Add in the factor that he was dangerously close to her breasts and I am going to say that Saeko’s event was a 99 on the WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING scale and Saya’s in a 100.

As we all just stand around and watch!!!!!!!

So why is anyone following this douchebag?!?! STOP HARASSING WOMEN! Didn’t they just leave a bus because some old dude was being a perv? Didn’t we just cap someone for harassing and threatening Rei? So maybe if we hate these things we shouldn’t DO THEM! If you want to be the hero Takashi don’t be a bigger douchebag than the people we are supposed to hate. Seriously. This is me raging because I am sure Takashi WILL be painted a hero and that all the women should fall at his feet for being so cool. When in reality if Kohta was better looking all the girls would agree he was a gentler and better leader.

I really don’t care about Rei being naked for 90 percent of this episode. I think she should have cared more that everyone was having a conversation while she was naked but the nakedness itself wasn’t surprising. The almost blow job was a bit X_X but I guess if you have survived a zombie apocalypse being naked shouldn’t be a big deal.

What I do care about is how such intelligent people lost their damn minds in this episode. Okay Saya it sucks that your parents didn’t drop everyone and travel across town to save you. Clearly that is what they should have done. It doesn’t matter that it looked like there were at least 50 alive people in the yard. No no, they really should have risked it all to go across town for the slim chance that Saya still might be alive. BAD PARENTS!

So putting aside the fact that it is a miracle Saya is still alive and her parents did the right thing and Takashi is an asshole….wtf people? Are you seriously arguing about whether or not to stay with the MOG adults?! XO Heaven forbid we listen to the people with the huge house, food, and resources to help us survive this shitty situation! Because adults are bossing and wouldn’t let Takashi carry a box and wouldn’t let Kohta run around with guns. I don’t care if Kohta saved MY LIFE he shouldn’t be carrying and running around with guns like that. Plus how does he know that he is the best one for those weapons?

In any event…how is this even a question? I get that this is the end of the world and things will change forever. But….if you know your parents are alive and they have the resources to keep you and your friends alive why would you want to leave? I get that if some of the others want to leave to find their parents that makes sense. But that is not the conversation they had. Plus how do they know the adults won’t help them in their search? Just a lot of anger and stupidity. At the very least they should be thinking of Alice. She is sure to tag along with the teenagers and that is not fair to put her in danger because there might be a chance their parents are alive.

Right because Saeko hasn't been kicking ass with her sword or anything...

So after Saya had her melt down Kohta had his own. Not sure why though. Granted I think Saya’s dad killing his best friend by chopping off his head was a bit much. Also I get that Kohta wants to be amazing with his guns but it won’t take away from amazingness if other people have different methods of protecting themselves. So yeah that was weird.

In the end the group has a reason to leave the bigger group. Because the adults didn’t want a bunch of teenagers to have guns. Super reasoning ya’ll. It looks like Saya’s mom agrees with their anger which makes me question her sanity as well. I mean she wanted Takashi to talk her out of running off but now she is giving them her blessing. Yes small children go off with your one gun expert and find a lot of people. Like even if by some miracle Takashi’s parents and Rei’s parents were still alive there is no room in the one vehicle. BUT THAT IS OKAY! TEENAGE INDEPENDENCE!!!!!

Also wtf was up with the censoring at the end? Rei’s naked butt was all for the world to see but someone getting their butt groped was wrong? Two girls licking each other’s tongues is too gross for words? (Well actually it is but not enough to censor it). And how is Shido the evil one when he is not even taking part in the orgy X_X. But yeah, kinda wondering how Shido’s boy got all the way across town and the guards to spy on Takashi and his gang. Amazing people.

I predict this will end well.

Next week it looks like there is some anger. And Shido stabbing in the future. Maybe Takashi will molest him too.

Happy Labor Day! Or alternatively YAY FOR MANGAS

Happy Labor Day to all. And by all I mean the ones who have the perks of a job that give them Labor Day off. The people who probably needed this day off the most are the ones who still had to work. You know, the fast food/retail workers, the people with limited/no benefits at all. I would probably be bitterer (okay spell check that looks wrong) about the situation but I don’t work Mondays anyway so meh. I just hope that everyone who did have off today was super kind to those who still had to work. This goes double for when people have to work on Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Now what did I do this Labor Day? I read mangas all day. Writing this is the first time I have been on the internet all day XO I know right crazy? But yeah Anime Weekend Atlanta is around the corner and I am trying to amp myself up for a weekend full of fun. That and there are still mangas left that I haven’t read from AWA last year. I can’t very well buy 50 more mangas when I haven’t caught up on the last batch. Plus I am far behind on reading mangas online so yeah people! Reading mangas is a serious hobby, especially when you are reading so many titles!

So…..housework didn’t get done today. But I read a bunch of mangas so I thought I do a mini review. XD Now these aren’t going to really in-depth reviews, just a few thoughts on these ongoing series (well on going for me as they are probably all out by now….). Kuroshitsuji II and High School of the Dead will be blogged tomorrow. Promise. Hopefully.

Wild Ones

All of her outfits are so gorgeous. So jealous.

Wild Ones- This is a very typical Shojo manga. Girl has a body guard, body guard falls for the girl, girl is clueless about her feelings, and the body guard is acting like it pains him to keep his emotions in check. So at the end of the day it isn’t one of the most unique mangas and it probably won’t stick out in my mind as anything special.

However it wasn’t a horrible read nor was it boring. It was a good way to spend a few hours. I have only read up to manga 5 but it was fun. Sachie isn’t a super girl. She talks big but she isn’t able to really back what she says. Which I like. Not everyone can be a part of Special A and be big and bad. So it was nice reading about a normal girl who tries to fix things but isn’t taking on boys with her normal strength.

Rakuto is a bit special. He is trying to fight how he feels but then he keeps away men that would make his job a little easier. Also he is a little too perfect for words so yeah. Wish he was more relatable.

The whole situation about hiding the family is over the top. Not sure how long they can keep that up. But shame on the landlady at the beginning of the story trying to kick out Sachie. I wish they made the gang members a little more dangerous. I mean they are always being….nice and helpful. Why is Sachie so scared of guys who have never done anything bad? Way too fluffy for my taste.

But I do like the series despite the major plot problems. Also I like the cover art with Sachie holding knives. XD

B.O.D.Y.- I really had my reservation about this manga once I read the first book. I am only up to book three now and I feel a little better. According the internets I am only 11 books behind WOOHOO! Hope there are discount manga booths at AWA.
But yeah. I was a bit X_X about the fact that someone was falling in love with a host. If that is what Fuji wants to do with his life that’s fine. He gets paid, the girl is happy, life moves on. But trying to have a relationship while being a host is the X_X part. I don’t think I could be the partner of someone who is getting paid to make out and have sex with other people. I ain’t that understanding.

So it was hard for me to relate to Sakura’s ability to go out with Fuji knowing his job. Yeah he just got fired in book 3 but up until that point I don’t know how she could do that. Especially a girl who has never had a boyfriend before. A first time relationship should been all lovely and the attention is on the couple, not an outside force. So I was cheering her on pushing Fuji away but I think she gave in too quickly.

Fuji is a lying piece of scum and I was rooting for the other guy who turns out to be gay. But since it is only volume 3 there will be other people that will be interested in Sakura.

But I am happy Fuji is done being a host. I am sure as time goes on there will be a reason why he became a host and it will be all sad and such. But I hope Fuji will be patient with Sakura and I hope Sakura realizes that she is worth a lot more than she is getting. I do like that Sakura went above and beyond to help out the host situation but she needs to stop putting herself in dumb situations. It always turns into the boy rescuing the girl and blah. BLAH.

Mixed Vegetables-Apparently I am 8 volumes behind on this series. Really GO ME! Have I bought any mangas since AWA? Seriously people.

In any event there are a LOT of cooking terms in this manga. Duh right? Only I hate cooking. And fish. I like cake but I have no desire to make cake or learn about the cake making process. I will watch cake making shows on TV but the more I think about it I like the frosting/creation process. So I do not know what I was thinking picking up this title.

However if I put the cooking terminology aside the story is slightly interesting. Hanayu thought she was using Hayato. She wanted to become a sushi chef so bad she was willing to marry into a sushi family just to escape her obligations at her family’s pastry shop. She started to feel bad WHICH SHE SHOULD HAVE and she finds out that Hayato was using her too. Awesome.

Although that made me a little sad too. I mean I am not mad that he was using her too. Just a little sad that some of the love act was really just a love act. He didn’t have to go that over the top to win Hanayu so that makes me sad. Of course by the end of the series I am sure they are going to open a sushi/pastry shop and have 5 little kids running around.

So since I haven’t read that manga volumes yet I can’t really talk much about anything. Only that they need to stop ignoring that poor boy in the corner. I am sure it will be a frustrating ride watching these two fight feelings for each other and not being able to enjoy those feelings because of their dreams. But it will all work out! It will just take every single volume for them to get to that point.

So that’s about it. 10 mangas under my belt and quite a few to go. But at least I am closer to reading all the mangas I bought last year. So I guess that means I should go clean now before I read anymore…
