Kobato Epilogue Chapter!

I am a little tired from work. Thursdays and Fridays are my long days at work. I know people work longer hours than I do but for me it is just stressful and bleh on these days. So much so when I come home from work I don’t feel like doing much.

So for now I am just going to blog whatever I can on Thursdays and Fridays. If I can get an episode post out so be it. But if I can’t then I can’t. I can always catch up later right? Blogging should be fun. XD For the record I have watched Black Rock Shooter episode 1 and I have MANY feelings about the episode.

Before I put my tired self to bed I will try to get some up and blogged. Last night I went through all my blog comments and responded. One of the comments was to inform me there was an epilogue to the manga Kobato! I got excited and raced off to read it before I passed out. Here are my feelings on that final chapter.

Kobato is lively every day!

Now when I saw the word epilogue I went a little nuts. Lots of excitement. Thoughts of getting more closure filled my mind, especially after the disaster that was XXXholics and the X___X that was Tsubasa. At least Kobato had an ending right?

Well folks….I wouldn’t really call this an epilogue. More like what happened to Fujimoto and Kobato a few days later….is there a word for that?

Always the happy plushie!

Not that I am ungrateful for more Kobato pages. I do love the art and just looking at Kobato’s fun hair makes me happy. I just in my mind thought…it would be in the future. When Kobato is reborn AGAIN without the angel and Angel Kobato and Ioryogi finally found their happiness. That we would get to see the other characters that made up the Kobato universe. Instead we just saw Kobato, Fujimoto, and Ioryogi’s people. The same characters we saw in the last chapter.

Much of the chapter is devoted to Ioryogi, Genko, and Ginsei “talking”. Or fighting. Ginsei is the reason why Fujimoto regained his memories of Kobato thus he is a plushie. Sounds like everyone likes making fun of Ginsei now. Boys have a hard time accepting the fact when they do something nice.

Fujimoto likes sweets. I am shocked.

I think I like anime filler Kohaku better though.

It turns out Kohaku was very important in the whole Kobato getting a happy ending. I had a feeling Ginsei felt closer to her (?) rather than Kobato. I think I was blending the anime and manga together because I thought Kohaku had already met Kobato. Silly me, the lines are all blur. But it would have made more sense to have Kohaku be Kobato’s friend in the manga so this wish would make more sense.

It is magical because we both know the words to a song we just started singing!

Kobato wants to thank Ginsei for helping give Fujimoto back his memories. He again acts like a boy and doesn’t want a thank you. Instead he wants Kohaku and Kobato to sing a song. And despite “just meeting” the girls bond and sing a beautiful song. AWW!

And then CLAMP went back and fixed XXXholic WEEEEE!

The manga ends with Fujimoto and his high school robbing self escorting Kobato home. She says she is happy with her life as she walks hand in hand with Kobato. More AWWW!

And that is about it folks. Nothing earth shattering but it was sweet. Which is what Kobato was all about right? A sweet story about an innocent girl who wanted to help heal hearts and herself. Now I would have liked to see…more. More of the other characters, more of the future, and more pages. But since I wasn’t expecting anything at all this was a nice little bonus. A sweet way to end a sweet series. And look CLAMP it ended on a satisfying note. Rejoice the world!!!

Kobato Final Drop!

XO Thanks to some lovely commentators I was notified about the latest and LAST chapter of Kobato being out and translated. So back off anime, there are other things to blog about tonight.

And possibly cry about. Even though CLAMP drives me (and everyone else) nuts it is still bittersweet when one of their series ends. And a little nerve wracking. Don’t want to get XXXholic again.

But here I am ready to say goodbye to another manga series from CLAMP. Come experience the spoilers with me. Maybe you shall be surprised.

This drop and every other Kobato drop can be found here. Without this website and their releases we would have to wait YEARS for all CLAMP's works. So thank you so much for your time and dedication to the craziness that is CLAMP.

Fujimoto needs a hug and there is no more Kobato!!!

As Kobato disappears into nothing Sayaka and Okiura look on…and then instantly forget about Kobato. Fujimoto seems to have forgotten her as well but that doesn’t stop the tears from building up. Fujimoto was having emotions all over the place. I am sure before Kobato rolled into town he was only good at experiencing anger or…well nothing. But since Kobato came to his life he got to experience rage, frustration, disappointment,….and happiness. XD Poor Fujimoto. He probably needed baby steps in the whole FEELING situation.

So Kobato died. And it was terrible sad. So sad…for one page. And that page had flowers on it so I am not sure if that even counts as a page. So CLAMP. I know you are good at being dramatic and sad and :(….but what was this?! I know Kobato was a happy manga with rainbows and butterflies. But five seconds after Kobato disappears/dies we see her again?! Give us a little suspense!

TADA! Everything is okay folks. Had you going for a whole page right?

And not only are we seeing Kobato right away…SHE HAS HER MEMORIES!! X__X What the hell?! Where is the suffering? Where is evil CLAMP?! Where are the trials and tribulations Kobato must face?! WHAT IS GOING ON?!

MOG! Kobato is alive, has her memories…AND has Ioryogi?! CLAMP has died. Died and gone to heaven. And in their place are fluffly unicorns who fart out cupcakes and sprinkles. Because obviously something had gone wrong. Wrong being everything is right and perfect. Kobato didn’t fill her jar and POOFED! But now she is alive and remembers what happened and gets help from Ioryogi?! Did she also win the lottery and get straight A’s in school?! How perfect is this scenario?!

It might sound like I am being harsh. I do love Kobato and I want her to be happy. As happy as fictional characters can be. But something about this ending seems too perfect (and rushed…rushed for the history lesson that is Gate 7). The anime ending was not “true” to the manga ending (mainly because it was not done yet) but I liked that both Kobato and Fujimoto had forgotten the past. That there was a moment where we were all going :( when they didn’t know each other. To me Kobato really had it laid out easy for her while other CLAMP characters had to fight a little for their happy ending.

But I guess none of this matters because everyone is like XO Kobato looks so cute in her high school uniform.

Any questions about why Ioryogi was sitting in a toy store will go unanswered. I mean if he was stalking her while she was growing up and she FOUND him one day while he was hiding that would make sense. But it looked like he was for sale to me. At least he didn’t get squished for not completing his task. He just….stayed a plushie.

Kobato gets 15 wishes because her hair is 15 feet long.

But yes. Kobato has been reborn with a slightly stronger body and with all her memories. And now at the age 16 (again) she has made it back to the nursery that started her adventure. Ioryogi warns Kobato not to get her hopes up as no one will remember her. But that’s okay. Kobato is just happy her wish of “going to where the people I love are” came true.

Even if she didn’t fill the bottle….

Ioryogi tells Kobato that her OTHER wish (why does she get two…) came true and Okiura’s has left the nursery alone. Kobato is happy that everyone seems okay. Then she finds out that the nursery is hiring part time help and Kobato decides since it was a blast last time she would once again work at the nursery. As she falls on the ground in true Kobato style.

Kobato's luck didn't long as she was stuck by lightening. Or she was shocked that Fujimoto cut his hair.

Enter the Fujimoto!!! Because when Kobato fails or falls or otherwise embarrasses herself Fujimoto must be around to see it. Only now he doesn’t remember Kobato so he doesn’t know to tease her that much.

Fujimoto has a haircut!! And Kobato looks weird without a hat on her head. Changes folks. I must deal with them.

Kobato needs a hug!!! But Fujimoto isn't much of a hugger...

Putting that aside Kobato explains that she is here for the part-time job and Fujimoto agrees to take her to the principal. Not Sayaka. Also I am not going to talk about the fact that Fujimoto is at least 35 now. Because…..I am not. Avoiding avoiding. As she and Fujimoto are walking to the principal’s office she reaches out for him but pulls back knowing he does not remember her. That is not her Fujimoto.

And then the universe fell apart. Fujimoto has a heart. And it grew three sizes that day.

But that sadness lasts half a page! Because Mr. Bunny-chan comes down from the sky and POOF Fujimoto has his memories back. JUST LIKE THAT! FOR NO REASON! Okay there is a reason but um….yeah. Kobato saw Fujimoto for 5 seconds and tada he got his memories back. She didn’t suffer at all X__X Just happy times and yay for her. I would have expected him to look a little shocked at getting his memories back so quickly but…I guess not.

I have no idea what is going on...but I want one.

So why does Fujimoto get his memories back? Well since this is the final chapter we need to waste some pages on the other useless animals that Ioryogi knows. For some reason Ginsei bargained with God to give Fujimoto back his memories. The other animals say it is because Kobato touched his heart. I think it is because he doesn’t want anyone to suffer in a one sided love like he has (cough cough Ioryogi). And God is a hustler apparently as Ginsei had to give up…his edging stuffed animal appearance and become a chibi pet or something.

Since CLAMP has decided to give everyone a happy ending Suishou and Ioryogi get a page or two. Suishou explains that without her Kobato would still be ill (and probably die so Ioryogi accidentally killing her was a good thing WOOHOO!!!) and that she needs to stay put for now. But when Kobato is rereborn she should be healthy (because Suishou and God are tight and share info) and then she and Ioryogi can be together.

We are not questioning the happy. Just be caught up in the smiles.

I don’t recall God offering Ioryogi a deal. In fact I clearly remember him failing his task. And he was turned all plushie like as a punishment. But CLAMP is clearly done with this series and stuff like facts don’t matter.

And they all lived happily ever after. Yay magical bunnies!!!

All that matters is both Kobatos got a happy ending. And we aren’t 100 years into the future locked up in a house waiting for a dead person. Fujimoto admitted he loves Kobato, something he couldn’t 16 years ago, and all that Kobato has gone through in the last 16 years and 5 minutes were all worth it. THE END!

So while I am VERY happy Kobato got a good ending (verses a very, very bad ending) I thought it was rushed. Actually I think it was slightly obvious it was rushed. CLAMP was building us up for months (years even) and in the end they got bored. Sometimes when they get bored they drop series. Sometimes when they get bored they lose their mind and forget what the hell they were trying to even accomplish. And sometimes when they get bored they decide they hate their fans and make the stupidest and most unsatisfying ending ever.

Kobato falls in between all that. We all knew that Kobato was going to get a happy ending. But I think there could have been…more. The way between Ioryogi and God could have been better explained. I think that fans wanted to see Ioryogi as the other world Fujimoto and at the end of the day I don’t know if he was or not. And I think it would have been more romantic if Kobato had gone through her life unaware of what happened previously and she and Fujimoto remembered together at the same time.

With all of that said….I am glad the angel got a happy ending. XD She was stuck in the middle and the fact that one day things will be okay for her makes me happy. The other animals…meh. I rather have seen a 40 year old Sayaka and her man. But Kobato is happy, cheerful, and with her 35 year old lawyer man.

Not sure if there is anything left to say. It has been a long and bumpy ride. We had scenes that lasted MONTHS and stuff that was quickly forgotten about. We had loads of hair, sparkles, and smiles. But now the good times have ended and we are left with…whatever Gate 7 is. Farewell Kobato. I hope people continue to cosplay you and your wonderful fun outfits!

Kobato Drop 23 f

It is official. CLAMP hates us.

Actually that might have been obvious a long time ago. XD Somewhere in between X/1999 never being finished and XXXholics having the worse ending ever. Since CLAMP has already broken our hearts once this year let's pray that Kobato's last chapter has at least 50 pages. If not I fear there will be tears.

I wonder what the angel has to say about all this.....X_x

Spoilers for CLAMP trying to wrap things up a little too fast because they moved onto another project.


Since Ioryogi wasn't suffering from NO PLEASE DON'T DO THIS CLAMP he was able to see that HEY Kobato just talked to Mr. Rabbit-chan. And Kobato probably shouldn't know Mr. Rabbit-chan. Thinking back now though Kobato should know something about heaven and God and such. After all...who gave her the bottle? Did she think this was something everyone did? So Ioryogi being all XO was a bit weird since Kobato obviously knew something was up in her life. Her happy/confused smile just made everyone think she was too ditsy to get it.

Maybe she should have wished for more candy...

Kobato explains to Ioryogi that when her time was stopped God talked to her too. Which is a good thing since she was the one dying for no reason and all. But he said hey, since life is unfair and you is about to die you get one wish. And Kobato is actually SMART people. She wished to live. I never doubted you for a minute Kobato. And since this God is the WISH God he decided to be fair and let her redo her wish (since Ioryogi was going to deal with that). So Kobato then wishes to go to the place where the people she loves are.

Bring it back CLAMP. And none of this 100 years in the future crap this time!

Kobato continues to explain that her life before wasn't so hot. She was always sick and in the hospital. People were always worried for her. And since she was always in the hospital she saw how easily people could die despite having a happy smile the day before. So the only way she could think to make people happy was to be with them again. Even after she died and left this life. To me this might have been a wasted wish as GOD in CLAMP (well in the "happy" mangas anyway) tends to reincarnate people to where they need to be but since Kobato was wishing for other people and not herself she gets like ten points or something. Ten candies actually since she needs them.

How about you wish that you all live happily after in a villa run by Fai and Kurogane? I'm just saying.

God explained to Kobato that her wish might change as she experienced different things. And so it has. She tells Bunny-chan that she wishes Okiura's dad leaves them alone forever. Ioryogi is super pleased by this wish. Super pleased.

What about your angel home slice?!

Ioryogi is even more pleased when Kobato doesn't have enough candy in her jar (duh) and Bunny Dude seems to take Kobato's...soul as payment? Because things aren't bad enough for Kobato right? X__X So now she is super dead. She was dead before but now she is so dead. For 15 pages at least.

The crown is so much better in the manga than it was in the anime.

Ioryogi tries being angry with Kobato but she smiles and says she is okay with how things ended up. She is happy she got to spend time with Ioryogi and thanks him for working hard for her. Ioryogi can only look on sadly as the bottle does its thing and Kobato's hat flies off, revealing her dead crown.

Perfect timing...NOT!

Fujimoto is staring up at the sky still while all this is going on. He and the others are probably having their memories erased of Kobato. But before Kobato disappears she tells Fujimoto she loves him. :( Fujimoto has barely realized how he feels about Kobato and here she is dying on him and he won't even know she existed! Too sad for words.

Do you see these tears? ;_; How can there only be one more chapter left? Do us a favor CLAMP and sorta follow the anime. Sorta. As Ioryogi and his angel need some major love. So give us....100 pages and I will be happy? Sound like a plan? Kobato gets to live, the angel gets to live, Fai ends up with Kurogane, and you rewrite the ending to XXXholic? BUSY WEEK! I will let you get to work now.

Kobato Drop 23 e

My first post after all my Japan posts! How exciting.

And I lied already. XD It is not an anime post at all! Yay for manga!!!

Insert dramatic music here!

I managed to read this LOVELY chapter while in Japan and my eyes were like this X___X. Then when I got home I read the chapter coming out in July is the LAST chapter and my eyes went like this ;_;. Clearly I needed to blog this chapter as soon I might drown my living room in tears. If this ends like Tsubasa and XXXholics they might be angry tears. Hang on CLAMP fans we might be in for a bumping ride.

CRY YOU BASTARD!

Sayaka is crying all over Okiura. She is slightly upset that Okiura didn't try hard enough to be with her. She understood the risks when she married him so she is upset he left her when times got tough. She would have stuck with him no matter what and is probably pissed he protected her instead of letting her suffer with him. Because that is love folks.

Enter the overprotective younger adopted brother.

Right before Okiura can say he loves Sayaka Fujimoto has to come in and be all unnecessary. But I am not blaming him for his anger. Sayaka was in love with Okiura so she couldn't think properly. But Fujimoto was in the right frame of mind to be properly angry at Okiura. Sure he was protecting Sayaka but she was left a miserable mess. Not really a hero there buddy.

If you don't get killed in CLAMP you are magically forgiven for everything.

But despite hating Okiura and wanting him to pay for what he did Fujimoto forgives him. And if he ever had any feelings for Sayaka I think they all left at this moment. Hopefully before this moment but all the linger one melted away. Because in the end Fujimoto found the shojo heroine inside himself and realized that doing something hurtful for a good reason is acceptable.

I know people folks. I waited this entire time to use them though.

Kobato seems thrilled at the hug but is still gauging Fujimoto's reaction to what is going on. Okiura asks Sayaka what she intends to do. She says she still will close the nursery down and maybe she will start again somewhere else. But as long as she is with Okiura she will be happy. But apparently Fujimoto has a plan. He wants Okiura to take Sayaka and run while he stays behind to handle Okiura's dad. Okiura deeply appreciates the fact that Fujimoto didn't punch his face in but doesn't think there will be anyway they can escape his dad.

Oh you are there Kobato? We forgot.

Poor little Kobato. She said she was going to help Sayaka and she WILL. Just not in a typical way. Not that she could help out in a practical way. All she really could do is be a shoulder for Sayaka to cry on and maybe reload the guns if it came down to it. XD

This is Sayaka's WTF face. Same one I was making.

Kobato still wants to heal hearts when clearly she has failed at her mission. But now she has a plan. She just has to confirm it with a confused Sayaka and Fujimoto that they would be healed if Okiura's father left them alone.

What wish?!

And then CLAMP lost their minds. See I thought Kobato got a wish AFTER filling the bottle. Last time I checked she had about 5 pieces of candy in that thing. So unless Sayaka and Fujimoto have HUGE candy this is a no go. And really even if they did they would need to be IN THE JAR before she got her wish.

OH AND SHE NEEDS THAT WISH TO STAY ALIVE! Small issue I know.

Why hello there little bunny of cuteness.

But since the bunny came down I am guessing this is going to work. And since this is taking a more Wish turn for things than RG Veda I am expecting a happy ending. Kobato will wish for the dad to leave everyone alone which will fill up the bottle which will allow both angel Kobato and human Kobato to be reborn and one day find their partners. Oh and all the animals will go back to being...what they were before. WOOHOO!!!!

And since CLAMP didn't give a satisfying ending to Tsubasa and a very, very bad ending to XXXHolics they owe us. They owe us a lot. Kobato and her earnest little heart deserves a happy ending and so does Fujimoto. Everyone else too. And since Gate is just one hot mess for me I need a positive moment CLAMP. Please give us that positive moment.

But ;_;. I don't want Kobato to end. I want Kobato to get a proper ending and it seems too rushed. But maybe we will get 100 pages for the ending and we can all be happy. XD THINK POSITIVELY FOLKS! This will not end in beers and tears!

Kobato Drop 23 C and D

XO A Kobato post? Why it feels like forever? Has Tenchi finally had it with CLAMP and their crazy ways?!

Nah. Although I still think they hate our souls. Just the last two “drops” had so few pages each drop didn’t really need a whole post on its own. I understand they are limited by magazine the number of pages they can have each month. What I don’t understand is why a major group like CLAMP only gets 12 pages a month. I just don’t understand folks.

But here is my post on Drop 23 C&D. Spoilers for things taking way too long to finish. But hey we will have Kobato for that much longer yes?

Why doesn't Kobato like us?!?

Chitose explains to her twins Chiho and Chise that Kobato just said something weird. Chitose puts the pieces together and realizes that was Kobato’s way of saying goodbye. This kinda makes me mad at Kobato was close to the twins and should have said goodbye to the girls. CLAMP why you rushing things and taking people out of character? Or maybe this is Kobato’s character, not imposing on people and making them sad. Still the twins deserved a goodbye.

Um...sure. Do what you can Kobato.

Outside the nursery Kobato explains (to the readers) that while she didn’t collect all (see almost NONE) of the broken hearts she is okay with how things worked out. Ioryogi must have lost his mind in the night because he tells Kobato there is still time for her to fill the bottle. Kobato realizes that no there isn’t and that is okay too. She plasters on a happy face and vows to at least help Sayaka though.

Moral support is always important folks.

Oh and by helping out Sayaka Kobato must have meant standing by Sayaka’s side. I am not sure what else Kobato could have done so I am not really picking on her per say. Just saying that Okiura is coming up those steps and Sayaka is ready for battle. This is really a fight between a couple and Kobato is the third wheel without any knowledge about the situation.

GASP! SHOCK! MOG! I have to wait a whole month for 12 more pages?!

I do have to congratulate CLAMP though. Or commend them. Whatever. But their actual chapters have to be broken up into tiny little pieces all time and yet they change to end of cliffhanger type moments each time. I will close down the nursery INDEED!

Look at me not caring and smoking. I am so cool.

Okiura pretends to take this news like a cool cucumber. We all know the truth from the anime and even if we didn’t have that prior information we could have guessed he was pretending to be bad. But Okiura is like oh okay so you are giving up your dream that’s fine. You should leave town too while you are at it. Because that is not obvious at all.

But Sayaka is not Kobato. Or the heroine of the story. She has seen a bit of life and experienced hardships. And she has a brain. She decides to ask Okiura about all the past events in their lives. This is done so the readers and Kobato can go XO at the facts. Did Okiura know what his father was planning? Did they force her father to take on that debt? Was Okiura marry her to help in the plan to get rid of the nursery? Okiura answers yes to all these questions and acts like he could care less about the nursery, his scamming father, and the fact this has ruined Sayaka’s life.

But smart runs in the family folks. Sayaka’s dad made sure that Okiura was decent enough to marry his daughter. Which is guess is what father’s do, research and make sure that the husband to be really has cut ties with his gangsta father. And instead of keeping all this information to himself he told Sayaka that hey this guy isn’t going to kill us in our sleep YAY. The face Okiura made when the truth was unleashed upon him was….actually I was going to say priceless but now looking at it again it is just sad.

Well obviously things did not go according to plan....

I like that after Okiura got caught in his lies he… confessed to them. Maybe I am just surrounded by liars who will keep denying stuff to the very end and someone being honest when caught is a novel concept to me. But the vulnerability that Okiura expressed when Sayaka listed all the reasons why Okiura lied and how he really did care about her and her father was really touching. He broke down (well as much as a manly man as himself can break down) and basically said yes…I did all those things…but if I had told you what good would that have done?

Um but I was telling the truth now.....

And Okiura is rewarded with his honesty with a slap. WOOHOO! I am sure he looks forward to the next time he can be honest. Since it is just a positive experience and all. XD Not that Okiura doesn’t deserve a slap to the face for all he has put Sayaka through. But I am sure most of the emotion behind Sayaka slapping Okiura wasn’t because of the awful things he did (in the name of protecting her) but because he went through all these terrible things alone. Because that is how CLAMP girls are folks.

And Kobato sat there and did nothing. THE END!

Kobato Drop 23 B: And CLAMP hates us all

OH HI SPOILERS!!!

Dear CLAMP

You probably don’t know me. But I know you. I know you very well.

Err Scratch that. Sounds a bit too much like SAW. And since SAW drives me crazy too we can’t be having that. The point is I have been a long time fan of your many works. I would buy the Japanese mangas of Card Captor Sakura because they weren’t out in America yet. I bought the 15 dollar VIZ X/1999 mangas because I was that hooked on your stories. My favorite couple of all time/forever/until the end of time will be Fai and Kurogane.

So why WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO ME?! And by me I mean people like me. Your fans. Devoted fans. Devoted fans who are tired of being put through the ringer. X/1999 and Legal Drug on hiatus forever. Tsubasa ending with….err the main characters…you know. XXXholic having the worst/rushed ending ever.

Just why…WHY!!?!?!?

So what am I going on about now? One would probably think by now that I hate CLAMP. I am beginning to think that too. But I view CLAMP like my husband. He drives me the most crazy because I love him the most. And CLAMP is my favorite manga group thus when they do things that are X__X it really affects me.

Or maybe I am a crazy person because I compared my husband to a group of people I have never met. CLEARLY I AM THE INSANE ONE.

THINGS CANNOT END TOMORROW!!!

The reason I am so mad is because CLAMP obviously wanted to get rid of Kobato since XXXholic was dead and gone. Got to rush everything to make Gate 7 the best manga ever!!!! No really CLAMP. Stop doing this. You can’t create mangas that people love and devote tons of time to and decide oh…we are bored now time to move on and wrap things up as quickly as possible. We saw that with XXXholic. We got 43857 chapters of boring crap (cat virginity people!) and BAM it is over with great grandson Domeki sucking at life.

Things can't end yet EVERYONE STILL HAS THEIR EYES!!!!

Will this happen with Kobato? I am getting the feeling it will. We spent MONTHS (okay chapters) with Kobato going to see Okiura. Now she moves out of the apartment in ten seconds and everything is going to end tomorrow?! OKAY FOLKS! This will end well.

Oh chapter summary much? XD : Ioryogi was talking to his angel in Kobato’s body. But suddenly we SEE the angel (Suishou). Of course this doesn’t matter since Kobato and Suishou are identical but it still makes Ioryogi sad. Suishou says she was the one who did the reading on Okiura but really anyone could have seen what was going on. But Ioryogi knows that Suishou being able to come out means that the stopped time is moving now and that spells really bad stuff. Suishou just wants Kobato to be happy and Ioryogi tries to apologize for his actions in his own clumsy ways. THEN WE GET TO SEE IORYOGI!!!!!! XO After that amazing scene the messenger bunny is like HAHA Kobato has one day left. This obviously does not go over well. The next day Kobato greets Chitose warmly and talks about the nursery like things are going to be okay. Kobato thanks Chitose for everything and takes off with her suitcase. THE END!

But I will say I am happy that we got to see Ioryogi. Jury is still out on whether or not he is that dimension’s Fujimoto. In any manga sometimes characters all look alike. Or they can’t draw a great range of people. So it is hard to tell with a side view if that is Fujimoto or not. It would make me HAPPY if it was the same person/same soul deal. But at this point I should be happy they are even finishing this manga.

So yes folks. I am happy about that.

And really I am happy that Suishou and Ioryogi got to have their moment. After all both have gone through they deserved to see each other again. Also the way things are going everyone is going to lose their eyeballs and be locked in a weird store for 100 years so this might be all we see folks. So Suishou got to see her man and Ioryogi tried to apologize for all he has done.

Plus it was sad and bittersweet. They got to see each other but it wasn’t really them and they couldn’t touch. And to be honest I am sure they didn’t know each other very well before the war and deaths. So….it is one of those loves that you just have and nothing much happens after the fact because one of the people dies and the other person turns into a plushie sent to help out the girl who looks like your dead angel. I am sure this happens all the time.

Wait what is going on?! WHERE ARE YOU GOING?!?!

The part I am NOT happy with is the fact that ending so soon. I have joked before that even if things ended soon it would still take a whole year for us to get the closing 10 arc chapters. But after this latest XXXholic stunt I am not so sure. Chitose, who has taken great care of Kobato, got a 5 second send off. Like HI BYE. So I am not putting it passed CLAMP if the whole Okiura and Sayaka issue is all taken care of in the next chapter, Kobato “dies” in the next, and somehow Fujimoto finds a reincarnated Kobato in the last. Meaning we could have 3 chapters left. THAT IS ALL FOLKS!

After all the build up with Okiura and Sayaka they deserve more than a few pages. And Fujimoto just now last chapter said Kobato isn’t gum at the bottom of his shoe. And the entire premise of this manga was Kobato had to gather the hearts of hurt people. She has like…7 pieces of candy. In the anime she was pretty much on her way and healing Fujimoto gave her the right amount to make the wish happen. But now she has 7 pieces of candy and it’s game over tomorrow.

If this manga ends with him being this universe's Kamui I may forgive CLAMP. MAYBE!

So in conclusion of a crazy post that has taken me hours to type because I am in deep denial this manga is going to end soon and it may turn out to be an XXXholic type situation. If things go EXACTLY the way it did the anime with the addition of Ioryogi and Suishou being happy I might be okay. But if this is done in less than 4 chapters things won’t be good folks.

I am going to rewatch Survivor now so I can laugh at stupid people. I need a good laugh right now. Please don’t kill my soul CLAMP!!
