Angel Beats Episode 10: The BAWWWW episode

Photobucket

Tenshi is too cute for words!

This post is going to be one big BAWWWW fest. I am seriously typing this entry with tears in my eyes. And if you manage to walk away from this episode without your heart strings pulled congratulations. You can find your long lost relative on Mount Crumpit.

MOG people I’m not even that fond of Yui and I am sitting here with tissues. Anyone who was worried about how the rest of the plot was going to after Otonashi’s decision should be really satisfied now. If not…well you might have to wait a little while to find that particular snowflake.

This post contains the death of my yaoi pairing and a sudden love of Yui. Crazy I know.

Photobucket

Plans are always better with pictures!

Episode Summary: Otonashi informs Tenshi that he has decided to start Operation Give Everyone Peace and he has chosen Yui as his first candidate. There is brief talk about how Tenshi has been making changes to her Hand Sonic thingy and how she needs wings. But then Otonashi breaks out the silly plan (complete with a dreamlike scenario) on separating Yui from the rest of her band mates. This plan would have been a success if Yui had not been told by her band mates she sucks at playing the guitar and singing at the same time. Yui was in the middle of a meltdown prior to Tenshi stealing her guitar so instead of running after her Yui melts to the ground and resigns herself to just being a singer. Tenshi continues to carry out the plan despite Yui not following her and Otonashi goes to investigate.

Photobucket

Um...you are missing a pink haired girl....

Eventually Yui does go after Tenshi and Otonashi is able to save the day, all according to plan. Otonashi tries to get Yui to vocalize her dreams/regrets in her previous life. She ends up explaining that she was unable to walk most of her life due to a car accident and all she had was the TV. She would watch programs and wish she could be like those people thus she has many dreams. Slightly X_x Otonashi continues on. Yui’s first dream is to do a complicated wrestling move. That goes on pretty uneventfully and she master the moves. Yui’s next dream is to score in a soccer game by beating 5 people. Otonashi deceives a few members of the SSS group into thinking Tenshi is challenging them to a soccer match with their manhood on the line. They stay during the game despite the fact that Tenshi is not there and Yui is acting like a freak. With Otonashi and Tenshi sabotaging the game Yui is victorious. Yui’s next goal is to hit a home run so she and Otonashi start practicing. Hinata catches them practicing but says nothing.

Photobucket

Otonashi is so happy!

Yui becomes frustrated that she is unable to hit a home run after so many days of practice and gives up. But she does so with a smile because she is able to move around and have fun in this life. She then reveals to Otonashi that she had one more regret from her past life, that she never got married. She starts to ask Otonashi to marry her but Hinata comes out of nowhere and declares he will marry her. Yui starts to feel as if she is not being honest with Hinata but Hinata argues all is okay. He doesn’t care that she was unable to walk in her previous life or if she might not be able to walk in her next. Hinata creates this scenario how he will accidentally break a window in her room and when he goes to retrieve it he will meet her and that is how they start a relationship in their next life. Yui cries and disappears, moving on to her next life. Otonashi is worried that Hinata is upset with him but Hinata says that he is here to help out as many others as he can. Elsewhere in the school Yuri is informed that her troops have fought some kind of dangerous shadow creature and are scared out of their minds. THE END!

Can my entire post contain BAWWWW?! That is seriously how I feel right now. I almost wish the last scene didn’t exist because it slightly took away from the BAWWW factor. But I guess it was necessary to further the plot along. Also Angel Beats! likes to end on a cliffhanger so no point in criticizing them for something they have been doing all along.

BAWWWWWW!

Photobucket

Tenshi abuse!

I really loved Otonashi being so into his plans to give people peace. Well and I loved his little scenario in his head. I am a fan of silly cut scenes. Otonashi was being so serious about his plans but I was too busy laughing at crazy Yui chasing a silly Tenshi. So Otonashi is a very intelligent person with an excellent plan but he still manages to bring the laughs. A well rounded character indeed.

Photobucket

Tenshi is a power ranger now?

Tenshi also made me laugh even though she didn’t do much. The way she was nodding and listening to Otonashi made me smile. I get the feeling she doesn’t really understand his plan all that much but she trusts him enough to agree to his silly plan. It was also amusing that Tenshi was not able to deviate from the plan. When Yui didn’t follow her Tenshi still went outside and gave Otonashi the guitar. She is smart enough to make changes to her body/program but common sense is lost on her.

Photobucket

HOW DARE YOU BE RIGHT!

Yui being picked on by her band members made me smirk at first. Then I watched the rest of the episode and decided they were assholes! No really…I can see where the original Girls Dead Monster members might be a little frustrated with Yui. The SSS group allowed Yui to be the new vocalists. They didn’t seem to be in control of the decision making. Maybe one of the original girls wanted to step up and shine. But they got Yui who really was trying to be Iwasawa 2.0 when really she was going good at being Yui. So I can see how the girls were frustrated with the entire situation.
Yui surprised me when she didn’t run after Tenshi to get her guitar. Maybe that was her realizing that her teammates were right and she was going to try to focus on her singing instead. She moved on from having her tantrum and wanted to help the group in any way she could. However this maturity was short lived and soon she went running after Tenshi as planned.

Poor Otonashi. He thought he picked an easy person to start with and he ended up picking the person who had a million and half dreams. I half expected Otonashi to try to walk away and Yui having to drag him back with demands to pay attention to her. But Otonashi is following through with the plan because he is a true friend.

Photobucket

Who is that familiar little piggie on the end?!

Yui’s back story was sad. We all know nothing is going to beat Yuri’s sad story of woe so there is no use in comparing the two. But with the other kids there was the idea they got to experience a little bit of life and something bad happened to them. Yui was stuck in bed from a very young age and could only watch the world from her window. So that to me is pretty damn tragic. Adding in the guilt that Yui experienced from having to rely on her mom for everything and her life was actually “useless”.

Photobucket

That looks helpful.

The wrestling dream wasn’t that amazing for me. Just meh. I am not a real fan of wrestling and I think it was special that Yui was trying to complete a complex move without having the basic component down pat. Then I remembered that she was only able to watch TV and she was just star stricken into liking certain things. That and the scene was necessary to show how dedicated Otonashi was to the cause.

Photobucket

Otonashi is shocked and amazed!

The soccer game was more amusing. I am surprised that the guys were so duped into believing Otonashi’s dumb note. I was also surprised that they stayed to play the game when they realized there was no danger. But Otonashi counted on the boys being boys and that they couldn’t get wounded in their man pride. MMM Man pride, causing problems since the beginning of time.

Photobucket

Some dreams are impossible but that is the reality of life...

I like that Yui was unable to complete her baseball dream. Even though this is a world of dead kids and girls who can graft swords on their hands I found it really realistic. Just like K-On!!’s episode this week it was a realistic view on just because try really hard doesn’t mean you are going to succeed. Failure will happen, especially when you are new to something. But instead of being upset that she was unable to reach her goal Yui was once again mature enough to be happy with Otonashi spending time with her and that she was able to run around and have fun.

This episode is the death of Hinata and Otonashi’s nonexistent yaoi relationship. Let’s have a moment of silence for something that never was.

Before Otonashi could help Yui become a better band member Yui reveals that she has one more dream. And this dream actually makes sense and is probably what started the tears. Yui wanted to get married. Now this might not be true for all but a lot of little girls/young ladies out there dream about getting married. Most of us won’t be rock stars or soccer heroes but most of us will get married. That basic dream was also stolen from Yui and was something she probably regretted the most. It just really hit home to me how sad and lonely Yui was all that time.

Photobucket

This will only end in tears.

And then Hinata comes in and things get slightly confusing. Hinata agrees to marry Yui but they both continue to talk about her being unable to walk. Um she is DEAD right? (not my theory but rolling with what the characters think). So this marriage she is talking about is what will happen after they are reborn. That they are going to WHOOSH go to the world as babies and become slightly different people with different lives but the same soul. But the way they were talking it almost seemed like they thought they were going to go back to THAT life or that Yui was magically going to be bed bound again? I don’t know, it was confusing.

Of course Yui might have been referring to that Hinata didn’t know her true self, that he was marrying a fraud. Hinata was trying to convince Yui that he loved her whether she was unable to walk or if she was strangling him for no reason. Either way BAWWWW!

BAWWWW!!!

Photobucket

And here come the water works.

I really, really loved Yui and Hinata’s dream of the future/past. That despite Yui being unable to walk they still had a happy relationship. Of course in this fluff dream they didn’t show the awkward moments and frustration but that’s fine. It was beautiful to see Hinata smiling at Yui and Yui to have light in her eyes. Just one huge BAWWW fest seriously guys.

Photobucket

Hinata is just so wonderful and giving!

AND THEN SHE DISAPPEARS! I really thought BOTH of them would go poof which probably didn’t help my BAWWW fest but no. Hinata stayed. He basically confessed his love to this girl and she is off to get reincarnated without him. I was expecting tears but maybe Hinata was focusing on her being happy. He knew what Otonashi was planning on sending Yui home. He had the power to stop him. But he decided to help Otonashi out and gave Yui her greatest wish. BAWWWW!

All I have left is a Hinata and Otonashi friendship. There will probably be no more yaoi jokes between the two. Sadness fills my heart. But I do think it was really sweet that Hinata backed up Otonashi. He didn’t go running to Yuri to tattle on Otonashi. He was smart enough to figure out Otonashi’s plan and was able to aid him in the end. BAWWW at the friendship now.

Photobucket

MOG what now?!

And then the last scene made me go X_X. Here we have another disappeared member of the SSS gang but we don’t have time to mourn. Because some creepy shadow thing is coming to kill the rest of the gang. Okay. That was random. I doubt it is Tenshi putting on an act so do we have a new enemy? Or one last clone that got away? Guess we will have to find out next week as once again the previews SUCK!

Did everyone enjoy the BAWWWing? There will probably be more once you realize that there will probably be no more kick ass songs. :(

Photobucket

AW Otonashi and Tenshi are wounded birds!!!

Hakuouki Shinsengumi Kitan episode 7-8

Photobucket

This show is about HISTORY people! Not eye candy. DUH!

Slowly but surely I am catching up with this series. Chizuru is pretty annoying but I find the rest of the cast interesting enough. I will focus on the others and pretend that Chizuru really isn’t there. XD Which is kinda hard since she is always getting into trouble and whining about her father. But Chizuru is the weakest part of this series and since she is the main character I can see why that turns some people off from viewing this anime.

But I am too invested to give up at this point. I want to know more about the oni and the group of handsome men and if one of them will finally lose his mind and turn into a monster (I kinda want him to…). I am not sure how the series will get wrapped up in 4 tiny episodes but we will see. But for now onto shirtless men and the girl that lives with them.

This post is brought to you by laundry. Laundry. The stuff that piles up without you knowing and can quickly render you with nothing to wear.

Just a disclaimer. I am going to start using the names that are used in the subs. I tried using their first names because they were easier for me. However I just keep getting confused trying to remember 2 different names so meh. I predict I shall be more confused by the end of this blog post. Sorry for the confusion.

Photobucket

Personally I would shoot my enemy but that's just me.

Episode 7 Summary: Chizuru is still being attack by Chikage and his two special friends. Instead of defending herself Harada, Hijikata, and Saito come to rescue her WOOHOO! Amagiri and Chikage don’t seem very interesting in fighting but Shiranui wants to tear some people up. Before things can get too interesting Chikage tells the group to leave, but not before warning the Shinsengumi that Chizuru doesn’t belong with them. When questioned Chizuru lies and says she doesn’t know what Chikage was talking about. Back at headquarters Chizuru is busy feeling sorry for herself. She is interrupted when she sees Okita coughing up blood. Not so yay. The next day while out on patrol Chizuru decides to be big and bad and save a girl. But then she remembers she sucks so Saito has to come and rescue both the girls. The girl (Osen) seems really eager to be Chizuru’s friend which probably means she is a bad guy. But Chizuru promises to keep in touch with said girl. Back at headquarters there is a doctor giving the boys physicals. Which means the boys need to walk around without their shirts and flex their sexy bodies. It is reported that a lot of men are sick/injuried so Hijikata orders the men to clean the entire place.

Photobucket

When getting a physical exam men only have to get checked from the waist up. The more you know.

Chizuru learns that Heisuke was never sick. He fakes it because he has mixed feelings about protecting the Shogun. But Heisuke promises to protect Chizuru so yay? Chizuru gets a meeting with the doctor who knows her father. He gives her absolutely no new information on her father and she basically explains the medicine to herself. The doctor tries to convince Chizuru that her dad is a good person. Sannan tries convincing the doctor his experiments are going well but the doctor wants him to stop. Chizuru is being nosy and hears the doctor telling Okita he has tuberculosis. But instead of listening to doctor’s orders he insists on staying with Shinsengumi. Okita calls Chizuru out on spying and pretends everything is okay. But they both know it’s not and Chizuru promises to keep it a secret. Chizuru is all sad and stuff while sweeping the grounds when her buddy Chikage comes around trying to kidnap her again. She doesn’t get harassed for long until the boys come to her rescue woohoo! Chizuru is still all bugged out about being an oni. Amagiri warns Chikage to stop being a loose cannon and Sannan wants to start up a new unit of just oni soldiers. On to episode 8!

Photobucket

See, boys can gossip too.

Episode 8 Summary: Saito, Harada, and Shinpachi are out having lunch when they run into Osen. They were busy complaining about Hijikata but the conversation soon changes to Chizuru and how upset she has seemed lately. Oh yeah, last episode Chikage told Chizuru her father was on their side. That is probably why she is so upset. Harada returns from patrol and takes Chizuru out so she can spend time with Osen. Osen was worried about Chizuru being the only girl in a den with all boys. So they talk about fun girl stuff! Like….where they were born WOOHOO! They end their date with the promise to meet again. Chizuru thanks Harada for cheering her up and Harada pretends it is no big deal. Then there is some boring breakfast eating, Heisuke waking up, cleaning the floor crap. Chizuru takes a break from her busy life to scold Okita about not taking care of himself. She dries off his hair and there is a bonding moment since Okita wears his hair just like her father. Hijikata gets a little rough with his men after they are caught staying out past curfew. Shinpachi talks Hijikata down from his anger and it turns out that Hijikata is stressed and crap and is taking out his anger on the wrong people. But there is bonding so it is okay. The happiness lasts about 5 minutes because the Shogun dies and the baddies that were caught like 5 episodes ago are never prosecuted. The Shinsengumi are then assigned to protect a sign warning against the baddies. Exciting stuff.

Photobucket

You are not allowed to die! I command it!

Work is boring and the men complain that Itou is up to something. One night the stupid sign is actually attacked and Harada does his best to protect it. However he is thrown off his guard when Kaoru comes and saves the baddies. He ends up capturing some and gets a reward for it. He takes out all the main characters (except for Sannan because we all hate him) to go drinking and to be entertained by a geisha. All is fun and lively with our drunken heroes. Harada (tipsy) questions if Chizuru left the compound the night the sign was attacked (since Kaoru looks like Chizuru). She says no and also doesn’t want anyone to accuse Kaoru. This leads to everyone making Chizuru dress up like a girl so they can compare or some jazz. The geisha dresses Chizuru up and returns her to the group. Everyone thinks she is lovely and thus a harem is born. Chizuru runs outside to escape the crazy boys and joins Hijikata on the patio. They have a moment where Hijikata talks about his past and Chizuru is busy being crazy about how she looks like a girl. They return back inside to the drunken party. The geisha is acting all weird and it has something do with the fact that Chikage and Amagiri are in the area. Osen is also acting all bugged out about Chikage and it is ON! The end.

It looks like the summary is really long but it’s not. I am a bit wordy but this post is about two episodes so it has to be long. I tried to be brief though. Sometimes I just fail.

Photobucket

This is not the timing for joking!

Why does Okita have to have TB?! Why can’t it be Shinpachi? :( I guess it is better than Saito but really would anyone notice if he started to be quiet? In any event it makes me very sad. He is either going to die or take the medicine which will either turn him crazy or he will have to go into hiding. These are not very good options. Maybe Sannan will improve the medicine in time and Okita will be saved. For now I will pout and be sad. I am a little pissed that Chizuru is more concerned about her dad than someone who is SICK but meh. She makes me mad everyday anyway.

Photobucket

Brooms are scary! See Chikage shaking in fear?!

Chikage is a bit special. I think his mission is to slowly drive Chizuru crazy. Which I think it is working. He randomly shows up to tell Chizuru she is an oni then POOFS. He lets her think it over and randomly stops by again to tell her that her dad is with them. Then he POOFS. I don’t think he ever planned to kidnap Chizuru. He is slowly planting ideas in her head and toying with her. Why? Because he is a jerk. But at least he is keeping the Shinsengumi on their toes.

I am not sure how I feel about Kaoru being a baddie. Maybe it will be explained soon (well duh soon since there are only 12 episodes) but for now I am a bit X_X. I guess Chizuru can be best friends with that Osen chick since Kaoru is being…suspicious. I do think the Shinsengumi were pretty lame for not attacking. Bad men bad! Kill the enemy even if they have boobies.

Photobucket

Next time they can talk about the weather!

Osen and Chizuru’s date was really boring. I do think that Harada was really sweet for arranging it but it was boring as hell. I need girl talk? Um you guess barely talked about anything. The idea was nice but no girl talk actually happened. But maybe it was nice to talk to someone who hasn’t threatened to kill her? Okay we will go with that.

Photobucket

So....you don't want a man touching your half naked body?

The lack of Itou is making me mad. Which is funny since I hate him but I do think he needs to be mention more. I do think he is involved with Chikage so I think we need to see more of him being sneaky and crap. Instead we see him having a crazy attack because the doctor wanted to take off his shirt. Funny because I thought he swung that way anyway.

Photobucket

Don't even ask what the penalty is for not cleaning your room.

Hijikata was being a little brat this episode and that bothered people. Which is surprising because I think he is a brat every episode but I guess he picked it up a notch or something. In any event people do not like him enforcing the rules. Although I do think it is slightly unreasonable to have people kill themselves over staying out a little late but the guys should be expected to follow the rules. But then he got drunk so does any of this matter? XD But chill out next time Hijikata, you will need your friends later when things actually get dangerous.

Photobucket

I'm not a light weight, not at all!

Photobucket

MOG BOOBIES!

The night at the geisha house was….special. I say geisha house because that is what it looked like to me even though others think it was a brothel. In any event the boys got drunk and did drunk things. I am shocked and amazed. Hijikata was slightly funny but everyone else behaved in a way that I expected them to. Saito didn’t do anything which disappointed me. I am a bit -_- that no one has noticed that their friend Okita is slowly DYING but I guess booze clouds people’s judgments and all.

Photobucket

I do not get sparkle bubbles when I wear dresses.

Chizuru wearing a dress was not that magical for me. Also I do not think her disguise is that good so I am glad that people are smirking and just humoring her. Either way the guys shouldn’t be all MOG GORGEOUS over a dress and her wearing her hair differently. But…I guess she looked different if I was going to be fair. Pretty even. I did think the guys were going to cover up their approval of the outfit but they are boys. They are special.

Photobucket

Behold I am looking important!

The girls in this series are confusing me. Is Osen an enemy? Perhaps not because she is upset that Chikage is nearby. Is Kaoru an enemy? I hope not because I am a big spoiler face. In any event both the girls are suspicious and Chizuru should probably just stick to boys at this point. Much safer.

Photobucket

You will DIE for that sign!

The actual plot (the fighting and baddies and what not) is a bit up in the air for me. I really don’t know what is going on and who is on whose side. I do know that signs are VERY serious business. Super serious business that should involve deaths and guarding around the clock. Instead of finding the baddies the sign is about it is more important to guard the sign warning people about the baddies.

I am surprised that there are only 12 episodes scheduled for this series. Surely that means there is going to be a second season right? I don’t see how 4 episodes can cover all the plot that should be left. We shall see. I might not enjoy Chizuru all that much but I do enjoy the guys that protect her and the slight supernatural part of the show. Yay for good looking men! Just don’t kill anyone important please!

K-On!! Season Two Episode 9

Photobucket

Truly this is a talent.

Today has been a really….off day to say the least. Without getting into personal details I wish I could have gone to work. Funny how I dread Wednesdays and my return to the work week and today all I wanted to do was get out of bed and have a normal day.

But K-On!! is a nice break from lying down and feeling sorry for myself. Yay for K-On!! dragging me out of bed and giving me something to look forward to. Yui and her crazy antics have brightened my day.

This post was brought to you by cats. Cats. The creatures that don’t understand sleeping on someone’s chest is not a great way to make someone feel better.

Photobucket

Is Yui trying to convince herself or the audience?

Episode Summary: Yui wakes up feeling motivated. She decides to take a job around the block and runs into her elderly neighbor. Despite her new try harder attitude Yui is late to school…again. When called out on her special behavior Yui vows to try harder. She proves that by falling asleep in class and spending study hour telling everyone their notes are so cute. There is a little bit of fun after school but Yui marches on to study at home. She runs into her elderly neighbor again who praises Yui for being so dedicated to the guitar. That leads Yui to practicing instead of studying (as she is not used to people praising her). At dinner she expresses to Ui that she wants to do something nice for the neighbor as she is constantly taking care of Yui (and sorta Ui). Yui continues her changing attitude by falling asleep while studying. She tries to redeem herself by studying extra hard at school. The next day Ui runs out of an ingredient while making dinner so Yui runs off to buy it. She runs into the neighbor again (who gives Yui the wrong ingredient because Yui thinks soy sauce=sugar) who informs Yui of a local talent contest that is going on soon. She tells Yui she really wants to see her play in the contest and despite her exams coming up soon Yui promises she will.

Photobucket

Because you are not the same age as her goober Mugi. But you are my goober.

Yui tells the rest of the Light Club members that she plans on giving the neighbor the prize if she wins. She understands the rest of the club will be too busy with exams so she will do this contest solo. Ui voices her concerns to her friends Azusa and Jun. Azusa sees Yui practicing alone near the river bank as she can’t practice at school during exams and she doesn’t want to disturb Ui. After hearing how Yui is so dedicated to the contest and studying she agrees to play with Yui during the contest. She is a bit strict on Yui but it is necessary. Yui decides that they should remix one of their songs into an enka version to cater to the older people. The result is hilarious. Exams come and Nodoka rescues Yui when she falls asleep during the test. Yui continues to fall asleep at the talent show but Azusa wakes her up. They go on stage and introduce themselves with a bit of a comedy routine. They then sing a song enka style which surprises the rest of the club but pleases the neighbor. Yui doesn’t win the contest but the neighbor doesn’t mind. She thinks that Yui is so grown up and mature and all is butterflies. Yui receives her exams back and she did pretty well. While everyone is in awe they express that they were a bit jealous at the Yui/Azusa duet and want to do mixing and matching of different pairings. Except no one wants Ritsu. The end.

Photobucket

Is Yui believable....?

I am going to be honest here. I say that a lot even though I think I am nothing but honest here on my blog. Maybe I should say “I am going to say this out loud despite the backlash from fans I might receive”. In any event I am not a really big Yui fan. *prepares to barricade herself in a fort and mans the cannons*. I know she is truly the main character of the show and much of the fun revolves around her and blah blah. But sometimes she gets on my nerves. If this person existed in the real world she would be scary, not fun to watch. Sometimes she is just way too out there to connect to.

Photobucket

Don't commit to something too quickly!

Perhaps part of my problem is that I am trying to make Yui into a human and I am not enjoying her for what she is: crazy fun. But I do think it is important to connect to characters and I think if Yui was toned back just a little bit she would be more relatable. Like when she was in the department store messing around with the drill, that was funny. But when she is incapable of taking care of her basic needs I go -_-.

Photobucket

Ritsu and Yui should never study alone together.......

But this episode was different. Yui was still Yui but slightly more mature. Which I liked. I don’t think people should/can change overnight. If Yui went to bed Yui and woke up Nodoka I would be very disappointed. You can’t create a character and destroy her overnight with a new personality. So I do appreciate the very subtle changes that went on with Yui throughout this episode.

Photobucket

Yui studying almost almost made me sad. X_X

Yes Yui fell asleep while she studied. That is a Yui thing to do. But she made the effort to study. She didn’t fall asleep while playing her guitar or watching TV. And she made up for falling asleep but studying extra hard the next day. She didn’t make perfect grades on her exams. She got pretty good grades, but not 100’s. Yui didn’t go from not so great student to top of the class overnight and that is very realistic. She was rewarded for her hard work with pretty good grades which is improvement enough for her.

Photobucket

I like participation prizes!

I guess what I liked most was that Yui did not win the talent show. I am sure everyone out there is K-On!! land was cheering for Yui to win but I think it makes more sense if she wasn’t WOOHOO the winner. Yes Yui did practice for this contest but not as much as some of the other participants. She was stretching herself thin with her exams and practice so it is only natural she wasn’t better than people who might have been practicing for weeks. So I am glad the show didn’t go the normal anime route and make Yui the winner because she is the main character and animes are meant to show us if you try hard enough you will win no matter what. Because that is not true.

Photobucket

Sing it Azusa!

The song choice….was interesting. I do think it is possible to remake songs from one genre from another but I am not really sure I am down with the enka style of music. When Yui and Azusa tried to slow down their lyrics in the park (or near the water river thingy) it made me laugh. It just sounded so wrong. So maybe that is why the girls lost, that they picked a song that was unable to be enkaized? I understand catering to the crowd but Azusa was right. You shouldn’t lose yourself to play music, that is where you should be able to set yourself free.

Photobucket

AWWW! Azusa having fun!

Photobucket

You don't always have to do things together....

Photobucket

But the ones left behind always feel left out.

I do like that it was only Azusa and Yui this time around. When there are stories about a big bunch of friends I like seeing when the group breaks down into smaller parts and people get closer without all the crowd. I think it can be hard to get to know people when you are surrounded by tons of other friends. So while we fans like all of our Light Club members hanging out eating cakes and drinking tea sometimes it is fine to spend time with just one friend. Yay for bonding.

Photobucket

FEED ME!

Sawako being upset at the lack of tea parties was funny. Especially when the girls stated the rules were more important than her. XD I think Sawako will be real lonely when her Light Club girls graduate. As much fun as it is to see teachers really getting along and connecting to their students one has to wonder what is going to happen after the girls graduate. Does the teacher pick new students to love and if they do does that mean the first batch is replaceable so fast? I guess I am thinking too much into it but Sawako is pretty funny. I know she is criticized for being an irresponsible adult but I rather like her youthful personality. She’s not a grown-up Yui. She is an adult who can have fun and be silly while having a job. Something we all should strive to be.

Photobucket

Yui passes?! A MIRACLE!

That sums up this week’s episode. Yui grew slightly as a person and Azusa had a mini meltdown. Everyone still hates Mugi but that’s fine. MORE FOR ME TO LOVE. Next week things look interesting as the focus will be on Sawako and her love life. K-On!! really lacks romance so it will be nice to see an actual date. Thanks for cheering me up Yui. Even though you can be awfully special….you do have the ability to make me smile. That is a good quality to have, even if you are a fictional character.

Uragiri wa Boku no Namae wo Shitteiru episode 8

Photobucket

I have a license to be this sexy.

Today my brain feels slightly better. My eye is no longer twitching and I am only angry at LOST and not ENRAGED like I was yesterday. That and my house is clean which always puts me in a better mood. So I am sorry Uragiri wa Boku no Namae wo Shitteiru for delaying your post but it is better this way. Now you get my full attention and happy mood. YAY FOR HAPPY MOODS!

Uragiri wa Boku no Namae wo Shitteiru makes me smile. The same way that boys go on and on about hot girls in anime and cute moe girl I too go a little XD over pretty boys. Especially when said pretty boys are being gorgeous with other pretty boys. Only I like to pretend I am not a creepy person. XO It is a pure love I believe in!

Beware of screenies. I went…crazy or something. That and there were lots of MOMENTS that needed capturing. XD Enjoy.

Ungrateful brats!

Episode Summary: Things at the Twilight Mansion are fun and happy. People are driving Tooma crazy because they don’t want to eat his cooking and Yuki is smiling at this happy family scene. Tachibana shows Yuki to the bath where they met up with Hotsuma. But the boys accidentally walk in on the naked girls and are yelled at. While yelling Toko accidentally slips and informs Yuki he used to be a girl and this time HE HEARD! The boys take their turn in the bath even though Hotsuma hates that Yuki is there. Yuki takes a minute to be X_X about being a girl but he is more concerned about Shuusei not bathing with the rest of them. Hotsuma gets all pissy and his angry (naked) self stomps out…right into the changing room where Shuusei was taking off his shirt. There are scars over his body and he quickly covers up. It is unclear which boy is bothered by the situation but Hotsuma admits the scars are his fault. Also they have this conversation with Hotsuma naked. Awesome. Luka and Yuki has a moment outside while Yuki worries about Hotsuma being a jerk….I mean lonely.

Danger Luka! DANGER!

Luka decides that he is going to walk Yuki (IN HIS CAR) to school despite that the other kids go to the same school too. Luka shows off his awesome license and makes all the students stare at his hot body and car. He wishes Yuki a good day at school (which comes across as another moment) and off he goes. Enter Kanata who was “waiting” for Yuki in the shadows. Yuki is so excited to see Kanata he doesn’t ask the obvious questions like HOW DID YOU FIND ME. Kanata apologizes for being distant and asks Yuki to come home. This too ends up being a moment but Toko and Tsukumo interrupt it because they are awesome like that. He leaves promising to call Yuki later and Toko is all suspicious. After school Yuki informs Luka of Kanata’s random encounter and Luka promises to follow Yuki anywhere. But then it battle time as three random Duras show up. They don’t know who Luka is which is a bit sad but they die knowing the truth because Luka is awesome.

Look at me being all cute and innocent!

Luka is afraid that Yuki is afraid of him/his scary powers but Yuki surprises him when Yuki asks about Luka’s past. Luka gives very few details, mainly that he used to kill without question and that he belongs to a family of sinners. But all that changed when he met Yuki. Yuki tries to ask if Luka means him or the girl Yuki but the moment ends. Elsewhere Takashiro is being all cryptic and Toko is wondering why Yuki has been reborn a boy this time when all the other times Yuki was a girl. Tachibana thinks that Yuki being a boy might signify the end of their war. Even though Yuki is worried about Luka’s feelings he makes a special necklace for Luka to protect him. YAY FOR MOMENTS. But then Yuki makes necklaces for everyone else so the moment wasn’t as special. Shuusei seems…happy to receive his necklace and offers to give Hotsuma his necklace. Yuki wonders if Shuusei is feeling okay and apparently Hotsuma plays games? Yuki tries to call Kanata but Kanata is too busy in his den of darkness and his Duras minions. The end!!!!

Who invited girls into this yaoi story?!

This week was pretty tame of action and storyline. But that’s fine. Not every week can be amazing. And after watching like 50 episodes of LOST in 5 days I don’t think I can handle anything amazing anyway. I will settle for ordinary and necessary.

Photobucket

MORE FREAKING OUT PLEASE!

YUKI WAS A GIRL?! SAY IT AIN’T SO?! Yeah no. Yuki is slightly slow. Toko (I WANT TO SPELL IT WITH A U!!!) has let it slip before that Yuki was a girl but this time Yuki was actually paying attention. Apparently Yuki wasn’t that embarrassed that he was beyond catching Toko’s slight mix up. Yay for Yuki knowing the truth!

Photobucket

Yay for having conversations while naked!

Not that he dwelled on it for very long. He asked briefly about it in the bath but he let it go because Hotsuma’s naked body was distracting him. Okay maybe Yuki was more concerned about Shuusei not participating in the naked time but the point is Yuki really wasn’t all that concerned about having a vagina at one point in time. He did almost mention it in front of Luka but he seems to be more concerned that Luka was in love with this other person. Which I would be worried about too. But I would probably worry more about how I used to have boobies first. Because I have priorities.

Photobucket

I am sure that you are a much better Yuki than girl Yuki! No worries.

I predict this will be the purple elephant in the room for some time. Yuki will constantly try to ask if Luka’s loyalty really lies with him or if Luka is only with Yuki because of girl Yuki. Which is something Yuki really should be concerned about. However I don’t want him to dwell on it for the entire series. I rather him ask it, Luka say some romantic stuff about how Yuki is Yuki…and that he looks better with a penis anyway. XD…But I don’t think that is going to happen so I predict hurt feelings and sad Yuki faces.

Photobucket

How many times have these kids been reborn?! X_X

But something Toko said made me slightly interested. She talked about how all the other times Yuki had been a girl and this has been the only time Yuki was reborn a boy. I assumed that our heroes were reincarnated just the one time. You know, some horrible battle where everyone died and got a second chance to kill the baddie. BUT NO our heroes have been fighting sparkle demons for a long time now which makes me go X_X. But yay for Yuki being a boy and possibly being able to stop the cycle?

Photobucket

Just so delighted...

Shuusei was in a better mood today. Which shows me that his cold act towards Yuki was only because Hotsuma is not on team Yuki yet. I do think that the show could have been slightly more smooth about the whole OH NO Shuusei has a scar thing. A little dramatic and abrupt for my tastes.

Photobucket

I AM SHOCKED! They kept me in the dark for so long too!

I am sure it will turn out that Hotsuma was trying to save Shuusei and that is how he sustained the injuries. But more likely Hotsuma was being reckless and Shuusei had to save him. Either way I am sure it will be blamed on Yuki woohoo! Makes me wonder if the incident made Shuusei and Hotsuma closer friends or if Hotsuma is still blaming himself to that day. But I was feeling a special moment between those two. A lot of special feelings.

Photobucket

Don't be a cheater Yuki!

Yuki needs to learn to start asking questions. Like how Kanata knew how to find him. Okay so he had Yuki’s new address. But how did he know what school Yuki went to? We all know that Kanata is the baddie (OH NO!) but Yuki doesn’t so he really should be questioning Kanata’s random showing up and why he didn’t talk to him before he left Tokyo. Which plot wise Kanata should have tried to convince Yuki to stay with him well before today but whatever. This was more dramatic. Also there was a moment but Toko and her snack eating brother interrupted it.

Photobucket

I'm too sexy for my car, too sexy for my car....

Luka’s car looks like crap. Why were all those kids going crazy over that piece of junk? Looked normal to me. Also didn’t he say he was going to walk Yuki to school? And why wouldn’t all the kids walk to school together. They need to bond more. But then we wouldn’t get to see half naked Luka making all the young boys and girls jealous of Yuki. Yay for bonding time.

Photobucket

How dare they not recognize Luka and his sexy tattoo.

The mid level Duras were boring and only semi hot. One would think that Kanata would warn him minions that they are going to go fight against Luka but maybe they aren’t working with Kanata? Or Kanata knew they wouldn’t go if they knew it was Luka? Either way they were dumb for not realizing who it was. How many hot Duras are they with such a distinctive tattoo?

Photobucket

This moment needs more sparkles!

A tiny bit of Luka’s past was revealed. The tiniest. But it sounds like Luka might not be a REAL demon, just some human whose family has been cursed for 849676 years and maybe after all this war stuff is over he and Yuki can settle down and raise kittens and bunnies. Or maybe Luka is a demon. It was pretty standard stuff, I had no soul, I liked to kill and feel nothing, blah blah. I think it was more important that Yuki was asking about Luka and accepting him rather than that tiny tidbit of information. I am sure more will come.

Photobucket

Kanata needs a bigger crew...

And that is basically it. Toko is surrounded by a bunch of men who have the hots for other men. Life must be interesting in that mansion. But this episode was decent. A few points got covered and Kanata is busy being a creepy bad guy. I would say all is on track but I have no idea what the plot is about so I am going to assume the pace is slow but necessary. Hopefully Hotsuma will stop being an asshole soon. Also I approve of more bath scenes. XD

Photobucket

Clearly boobies are lost on this crowd...

Everyone say AWWWW! XD
