Guilty Crown episode 22 FINAL EPISODE!

YAWN! I hate Fridays. I know many people out there live for Fridays and there might be a really bad song floating around there about Fridays….but no. No Fridays for me. Friday is apparently pizza day. Pizza day for everyone!!! So while everyone is out at the mall having fun I am smelling like pizza. YAY FRIDAYS! XD But while I say that I realize I make the most money so maybe I need to be a little more grateful…..Yay Fridays….

XO But I must hold back the yawns! I have fallen behind on my beloved blogging. A few shows are starting to wrap up and I need to give them all the lovely attention they need. Also I see my comments are all backed up again. Bleh. I promise I will get to all that soon.

Photobucket

Spoiler alert: Killing all life on Earth is okay as long as you beat a dead person. WINNING!

For now it is the FINAL episode of Guilty Crown. I know some people thought this wonderful day would never arrive. But yes…it is time for answers folks. All the answers to every question in this show. Or a ballet show. One of the two will happen. Enjoy.

Guess seeing normal Mana is out of the question.

Episode Summary: Shu is shocked to see Mana in Inori’s body. It seems to be a combination of the two girls anyway. Mana skips over to Shu and is like WEEE long time no see. She starts going on and on about Inori being a monster which Shu does not appreciate. Mana gets pretty pissed off and decides she is never going to forgive Shu. Gai 2.0 is like just go do your special job now sweetie. Things start to get crazy. Pink ribbons surround the world, the floor turns into a flatten globe grid, and Mana puts on ballet slippers. Mana starts to dance on the map and where she lands that place in the world gets a dose of crystal disease, with people dying instantly and what not. Gai 2.0 explains to Shu that he was trying to bring about this Apocalypse so everyone could live together forever in the crystals.

Everyone in the battlefield is like X__X things are weird now right? Ayase wants to go protect Shu but crazy Daryl has other plans. Mana and her dance seem to affect much of the equipment Funeral Parlor is doing. Ayase has to do some scrambling to protect herself. Tsugumi is pissed she is unable to dance her away into their security systems. Turns out Kenji is the one behind all of the amazing. Haruka manages to track down her brother Koudou who is like HAHA I did this all to beat Ouma Daddy. Haruka is like are you for real and tries to shoot him. But Koudou injects himself with crystal nonsense saying in the end he didn’t win anything. Gai 2.0 is trying to beat Shu into realizing his idea is amazing. Shu gets injured but sees a tiny flower on the ground that represents all that is left of Inori. She appears to Shu and he is able to take out her Void….via the flower. Voiding the Flower Inori stops Mana which means Antibodies no longer has the upper hand. With Inori’s magical sword Shu changes the tide in the battle with Gai. Shu and pretend Inori eventually stab Gai which causes Mana to break down in screams.

Photobucket

Don't worry the world got better!

As Gai 2.0 dies Shu is taken into…the consciousness of the crystals. I guess. There Gai explains that he did everything so Mana would stop being reincarnated. He had to allow Mana to start the 4th Apocalypse so Shu could come and finally stop her once and for all. Then he and Mana die. Shu comes outside in the real world to see Inori basically one giant crystal and a face. Shu hugs Inori and starts taking in all the cancers from people all over the world in attempt to save everyone. During this Funeral Parlor manages to take over. Kenji is killed, Arisa is shot, and Daryl is saved when Rowan dies for him. Just as Shu is about to die Inori (via the crystal world) takes in all the cancer and pain he just gathered up into herself. She dies and the world is saved. Everyone looks on wondering if Shu got out okay. SOME YEARS LATER Inori’s music video is playing in a normal looking Japan. The mains minus Arisa are having a birthday party for Hare and waiting for one more person to show up. Finally Shu arrives with a fake arm and blind. After the party Shu goes to the park to listen to Inori’s song and it appears he is able to see Inori living on in the crystal world. THE END!

HAHAHAHAHAHA!

That is me laughing at the people who think this was a good show. Hold on…HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

I mean…we are all allowed to have our likes and dislikes in life. If everyone liked the same things the world would be a pretty boring place. But there is a difference between liking a show and saying it is GOOD. I mean..this show was PRETTY and I like pretty things but I wouldn’t call it good.

Photobucket

We were all fooled! :(

Starting off Arisa did not die. That happened like in the last minute of the show so I am not sure why I am starting off with that fact. Maybe because I am pissed. Arisa started off as a calm and rational person. Even when crap hit the fans Arisa kept on trucking. She supported and probably came up with the Void Ranking idea with Yahiro. Then she started going pretty dang crazy. For no damn reason.

People are saying she did have a reason to lose it and that deep down she was just a scared girl who needed a second chance. You know what….no. Arisa just assumed Shu was using them…more than she thought. And Inori stabbed her hand a little. Arisa responded by skanking herself out for useless information, working with a dead person, planning to help with the Shu arm removal process, and helped Gai 2.0 kill a ton of innocent people. And since I sincerely doubt that Arisa was let in on the ultimate plan she can’t use the WELL I helped saved the world excuse. Because she knew nothing. She was just listening to Gai 2.0 in the hopes she would be rewarded with his crystal penis.

Photobucket

WHY?! WHY IS SHE OKAY?!

In conclusion Arisa sucked. I really thought she was going to be a strong character but she was truly selfish. She had the potential to have some angst from all the family pressure and emerge as her own person. Instead of overcoming any potential problems in her life she fell “in love” with someone she knew for 5 seconds and became a lapdog. She was way more guilty than Shu in regards to death and betrayal yet she gets to life. And I am pissed off.

Photobucket

Silly people wanting to live and such.

It is time to move on since Arisa was barely important anyway. Mana was pretty dang crazy. Like oh Shu I took a nap for 8 years but here I am in someone else's body YAY! Clearly she was gone. I think it is sad though there was never any “real Mana” moments. When Gai and Mana died the first time Mana had a second of clarity, where she was happy to be with Gai and to die as herself. But this time around she was just pure crystal Mana. At least she didn’t try to rape Shu again. Although I did expect Mana to sit back and watch Gai 2.0 and Shu fight it out, to see who would be worthy as her Adam.

Photobucket

I.....yeah. Human evolution decided this was the best way to turn itself into crystal dust.

But no guys. After Shu turns Mana down, because her plan of destroying all life on Earth didn’t jive with him, Mana puts on her dancing slippers. It was like some insane Swan Lake meets DDR moment. I mean…at this point it is probably not going to make sense on why the floor turning into a map of the world would then DESTROY said world but we are dealing with crystals from space. It is just the way the end of the world came about people. Like lalala byebye New York City. Spin Spin Spin peace out Hong Kong. It was so….so over dramatic I can’t even find words for it. I would never have guessed in a million years that DANCING was going to bring about the Apocalypse. Maybe SINGING since Inori was able to save the world before with that and it was hinted that SONGS could activate the genom whatever thing.

Gai 2.0. Oh I see. He had a perfectly good reason for hurting and destroying so many people. He was trying to bring Mana out of the cycle of reincarnation. If he allowed her to have a mini Apocalypse then she would have fulfilled her duty and would stay dead this time. It all makes sense folks. Really it does. Or not. Maybe if Gai 2.0 had kidnapped Inori sooner and explained his plan to said pink hair cutie a lot of lives would have been saved. Inori believed in Gai and Gai 2.0. She thought she was a monster. She might have allowed Mana to take over to save more lives and Shu. Maybe it was inevitable that some lives were going to be lost but had Gai 2.0 opened his mouth and moved faster it would have been less dramatic and bloody….I mean crystaly.

Photobucket

He did this for everyone! Be grateful!

But now everyone is like POOOOR GAI 2.0! Maybe Guilty Crown is actually about Gai 2.0. He is just SO AMAZING. I guess everyone is forgetting that Gai 2.0 was telling Shu that he supported this orange tang theory. Yes folks. I was just kidding with that stupid theory but the will of the human race was apparently to live on as crystals together. That is obviously the next stage of human evolution. Deep down that is what everyone really is wishing for. And Gai 2.0 supported this thinking. He didn’t want to be left behind and wanted everyone to be crystalized. Until Shu stabbed him and it was all like POOR GAI 2.0.

Photobucket

I think Shu will pass on the tang.

Can I just express how upsetting it is that there is no Daath Alien race up there in the sky responsible for all of this. I mean…yes that would have been pretty stupid too. Only because it would not have had enough time to get properly explained. But at least it was something. We had an eyebrow kid, rock from space, and a weird disease that was out of this world. But…Daath is the will of the people. The natural evolution of the human race. Nothing…just…nothing. Nothing to make this show make sense. I don’t even know what to say.

All the other fighting going outside was so rushed and mushed together it was hard to keep up. Daryl wants to be famous for being a murderer, Ayase and Tsugumi have to bounce around a little to show the audience they have boobies, Arisa was using her own Void, and Momma Haruka is facing off with her brother. The UN is still hanging on and any minor character has to look on in horror. So much squished in a tiny bit of time.

Photobucket

Kenji died off screen so he is another picture of insane Daryl.

Can I just say it was totally unnecessary to kill Kenji? I really don’t know why any of these morons were supporting Gai 2.0 as he was trying to kill them…I mean turn them all into crystals. But if it listen to Gai 2.0 or die I would…well run away. But Kenji stayed around and listened to someone who rescued him from jail. The others were going to go back with Gai 2.0 until he developed the crazies. I don’t know…I am not making sense but I just don’t see what he did that was so evil. Oh right I am still bitter that Arisa lived.

Photobucket

Are you insane?!

Photobucket

Even Daryl thinks Rowan is insane.

OKAY! I know SOME of you like Daryl. From Guilty Crown, not the Walking Dead. I am of the camp he has always been insane and for 5 seconds he had a candy apple and was tolerable. Then he went back to being crazy. So the fact that he got to live and Rowan DIED to save him boggles my mind. What part of him was good Rowan? Can you see the future? If so please use it to save yourself and this punk kid next time. Like really folks what kind of ending is this?!

Inori turning into a flower and allowing Shu to use her Void….yeah I am going to chalk this up to another WTF moment that won’t be explained. If you don’t explain the very premise of this show then nothing else needs to be explained. It is just magic. Also it appears that the creators were trying to use every single scene in the opening song. By making it as forced as possible.

Photobucket

Holding back the tears for you Gai. SO SAD!.....

After Gai 2.0 and Mana “died” it was pretty obvious what was going to happen next. Shu was going to take on all the pain and crystal cancers of the world. So it is unclear if Gai 2.0 knew this was going to happen. If so he is amazing and can predict the future. All the people he killed were automatically going to be saved by Shu. Good thing Shu survived losing his arm. Otherwise POOR GAI 2.0!

But yes folks. Shu had to take on all the pain and suffering because he wears the Guilty Crown. Still not understanding why folks. I went on in detail last post but what has Shu REALLY done wrong?! I think he did the best he could given the situation and he got crapped on the entire way. Inori was using him via Gai’s orders, was forced to join terrorists, had a power inserted in his arm, forced to be leader of a group of crazy kids, LOST HIS ARM, lost his girl, and in the end had to kill his sister and best friend to save the world.

Photobucket

I would have been like HAHA screw you all...but I am not amazing.

So why the Guilty Crown? Why does Shu think he needs to die for the Earth when he has been put through so much? And that is only the crap in this show, none of the stuff in his Mana raping past! Why does he need to bear the burden of everyone? To make everyone think WOW what a nice guy? Fine then say that. But to take on the word Guilty? I think not.

Photobucket

Inori doesn't even need a body to do amazing things!

And in the end it doesn’t matter. Because Inori wakes up with her blind crystal self and instead of staying in the……beyond with Shu she takes all the crap from Shu and dies. Shu gets to live and Inori, who has not been shown to have Void Sucking Powers so far, can just magically take on all the crap from the world and dies. Maybe it is because she is in the super power Mana/Inori body but come on people! I get WANTING to save someone but please make it make sense. It is like they are making this up as they go along.

It is unclear if Inori, Mana, and Gai 2.0 are alive in this new level of human evolution. I would like to think they aren’t. Like nope this was a failed attempt to get humans to a different level of consciousness and it didn’t work. POOF! Begone. Humans got to live and this other world was destroyed. But all the Inori fans out there would be like NOOOOOOOOO.

Photobucket

Sounds like Ayase didn't end up with Shu either! X__X

It is clear though that the writers hate Shu. All he have left in this world is his stepmother, one arm, and two broken eyes. Oh yes it is so amazing that Inori that died to protect Shu. Happy Birthday a few years later Hare. Look Inori your song is being played in town. Ayase people thought you were going to get out of the wheelchair. Well you didn’t. But now you have Shu all to yourself. Well what is left of him anyway.

In conclusion I had high hopes for this series. It started off slow but showed some promise. But after Gai and Mana died things got a little crazy. Then Mana and Gai 2.0 came back and things got pretty stupid. Tons of plot points were introduced but most of them were poorly explained. This show was not lacking in characters but the ones fans like the most seem to be Ayase and Tsugumi, two that barely had anything to do. Can’t hate what you don’t know. And the very premise of this show was NEVER explained. Viewers were forced to go with the flow and fans of this show would say well don’t think so much and you will enjoy it more.

One of the only things I liked about this show was Shu. He didn’t become amazing over night. One would argue he never became amazing. He reacted like a normal kid most of the time. Well as normal as someone who had an incest loving sister in the wing and a magical arm full of powers. But he had doubts, tried to believe in his friends, failed at being a leader when it was forced upon him, and tried to be a hero when all he wanted was the girl.

Photobucket

A very healthy relationship, when one of the people is no longer a people.

And yes….death would have been better for Shu. At least he could have been with his little monster. Le sigh. Thanks Guilty Crown. For what I don’t know. Maybe you will win an award for the most uses of one song in 22 episodes? I don’t know. Just disappointment all over my face.

Guilty Crown episode 21: Is it almost over?

Slacker Tenchi reporting in! I may or may not have been kidnapped by reality TV. Or the mall. But good news folks. I know own more than 2 pair of pants. If you are a woman you know how WONDERFUL pant shopping can be and how it is so much easier to buy a cute top than a pair of pants that fit and don’t make you look like grandma. Plus spending money is always fun. Hard to earn and easy to spend.

Do I have the most random post openings or what? I am excited about my pants though….Not that they related to anime or anything.

Photobucket

So now you think you are Madoka or something?

Getting back on topic….Guilty Crown episode 21! I feel as if I watched this episode so many years ago. Hopefully I remember enough of this hot mess to blog about it properly. Spoilers for craziness that makes no sense!

Photobucket

I think maybe Inori should start worrying about herself and not....Gai 2.0. Just saying.

Episode Summary: A slight flashback is shown, with Gai 2.0 waking up after being dead and Eyebrow Kid explaining Mana wants him to be the new King. Gai 2.0 is upset he is not allowed to die. In the here and now Inori asks if Gai 2.0 is sad. Psht Gai 2.0 does not have feelings and marches on. Funeral Parlor is inching closer to Gai 2.0’s location and it is becoming clear that he (Gai 2.0) was lying about the amount of detection devices he had. Everyone is on board with rescuing Inori. Shu because he loves her and everyone else because that will stop Mana and Gai 2.0’s plans. Everyone is hard at work doing last minute plans. Shu helps Ayase into her mecha thingy and has an almost romantic moment when he says he wants her to stay perfect and he will become the dirty one. Shu also says he will be able to shoot Gai 2.0 if it comes down to it. The UN makes it to Gai 2.0’s location and start to attack. Gai 2.0 uses three Voids (including Eyebrow kid and Arisa) to make a super weapon that takes out the majority of the troops before the battle really starts. Despite being amazing the rest of the troops, including Daryl, will do the rest. Daryl doesn’t really know why he is still fighting but wants to die on his own terms apparently.

Photobucket

So says the people who are still alive.

Shu and his Segway of doom lead Funeral Parlor onto AntiBodies turf. Shu uses various Voids to get the group deeper into the facility while Tsugumi manages to hack the system and slow things down for AntiBodies. Gai 2.0 tells Inori he is going to erase her personality and let Mana take over. Gai 2.0 asks if Inori hates him for waking her up from her…cocoon it seems. She acknowledges she is a monster but is happy she got to meet Shu and learn what it was like to be human. Along the way Shu stops and takes the cancer out of a random red shirt ally which causes Ayase to worry. Funeral Parlor gets lost within the structure. Everyone stays behind to give Shu the chance to die alone…I mean find Inori. Contact with Tsugumi is lost and things look pretty bad when Daryl and his insane self show up. Shu almost makes it to Inori but creepy eyebrow kid stands in his way. Now he claims he essential is Daath and Daath is. That Daath is the will of humanity to evolve and what not. SO BRING ON DESTRUCTION! Despite the fact that Daath Eyebrows Kid has a room full of people to use as Void Bait Shu overpowers him, probably with the power of love. Despite being all powerful Daath lets Shu go on his merry way, probably to watch how awesome a Gai 2.0 verses Shu will be. Shu arrives but he is too late. Gai 2.0 says he just missed Inori, that Mana is now devouring her. The crystal Inori is gone and after some special moments Mana Queen of Crazy emerges. OH SNAP! The end!

HAHAHAHA!.....This show…I missing The Walking Dead. :(

Even cooking a bag of popcorn gives me little motivation to blog this episode. And my fingers have butter all over them. Maybe this wasn’t a good idea.

Photobucket

Poor tortured Gai 2.0!

So Gai 2.0 has feelings folks. He is really, really sad that he said yes to destroying the whole human race. Woe is him. The thought crossed my mind that Gai 2.0 is doing all of this and in the end will go Thanks Shu and it will be revealed Gai 2.0 put himself in an position where he could sabotage things enough to let Shu save the day. Of course the way Gai 2.0 is going about this in a very violent way which makes me wonder how Gai 2.0 has tried to stopped this. But since Inori said Gai 2.0’s heart hurt we should believe it folks!

Photobucket

Grateful for what exactly? If Gai had killed you everyone would still be alive.

Sometimes we as human beings blink. And if you chose to blink during the first half of the show you might have missed all of Inori’s back story. ALL OF IT! Gai rescued Inori from a cocoon and that was it. THAT WAS IT! I guess we are supposed to assume Inori was created from Mana’s DNA and grown at an accelerated rate. And mixed in with crystal pieces.

Photobucket

This one scene explains EVERYTHING! I SEE!

However…yeah folks. Why did I even say however? This all sucked. We got one flashback scene and that was supposed to be enough to explain everything about Inori. Because with one episode left folks (please no second season!) I am not seeing any more time for Inori to be explained. If she is a Mana clone why the hell did she turn into a Thundercat? Inori kept referring to herself as a monster. If she was simply a clone she should have said a fake. Inori was only a “monster” as Mana made her do horrible things. Was Inori able to tap into Mana’s random connection with the crystal and do amazing things that way? Oh and did I mention Inori actually turned into a Thundercat? NOT A ROCK MONSTER?!

But in the end none of this matters. To the writers anyway. Inori is a monster because she said she was folks.

Photobucket

Yes let's use the word vessel and not MONSTER!

What does matter is that Inori has fallen in love with Shu. I am still bitter at the fact that Inori basically broke Shu’s heart yet was welcomed back with open arms and was never made to apologize. She said Gai MADE her use Shu. She is credited by sticking by Shu’s side but really she was causing problems for him and was using him as a shield. So maybe I am just a mean old lady but I didn’t see much of a love story. I do see her point that Shu taught her how to be human and maybe she fell in love with THAT idea. Mean old lady indeed.

Photobucket

Oh snap Inori! You better get....alive and take your man back!

I thought Ayase was going to have a heart attack. She was like wait is Shu hitting on me?! That was hinted at early in the season, that Ayase might switch her crush mode from Gai to Shu. But no folks. Ayase is the most innocent person in the world and Shu needs her to stay pure. Isn’t she the one who uses the big mecha to squish people?

Photobucket

I still don't know why she is important.

Tsugumi is just meh. I am thinking she is not going to get a happy ending with Daryl. Which is probably fine by her as she gave him a candy one time and he is off having magical fantasies in his head. But it is okay now folks. He is back to being a killer. Until he dies protecting her. But going back to Tsugumi…oh yeah we know nothing about her. She jumps around in a tiny suit and taps at computer screens. Go you.

Photobucket

Shu is on a mission to protect all the cars in the mall parking lot. Or save the world. Same thing.

Can I just say that I love that everyone is traveling in something cool or at least something that protects them…and Shu is on a Segway? Like he is the leader with amazing powers in his hand but he is Paul Bart driving down the road? I couldn’t stop laughing. It was amazing folks. AMAZING! I understand that he needed to be out in the open to use all the Voids but it was still funny to see.

Photobucket

They get props for fighting through that though.

A bit of logic fail but if Gai 2.0 used one attack on the “enemy” and it took out 87 percent of them why couldn’t he attack again and take out the rest? It sorta seems pointless to have ground troops and back up. Like okay Superman you go fight the baddies and we are going to sit here in our police station all safe. Why should I die with Superman is AMAZING?! Maybe this is why I am not a soldier though.

Photobucket

Have you said one thing that makes sense yet?!

Oh the Daath thing…hmm. I tried finding other people talking about the Daath issue but they are few and far between. Mostly I hear people complaining that people are hating this show over the Segway. Nope not me. I just found it…special. What makes this show so horrible is that there is ONE episode left and we have no idea WHAT THE POINT WAS!

Well obviously the point was to make Shu feel like crap over things that weren’t/aren’t his fault so he dies for everyone and further shows the Japanese people that the group is more important than the individual and everyone must apologize a million times.

Photobucket

So humans all wanted to die and get turned into crystal pieces?

But the other point would be…why is this happening? And it is not going to get explained. I don’t even know WHAT it is. Daath and his eyebrows (because this is the collective and Eyebrows is now Daath) has said TWO things about what Daath. Neither really make sense but it makes less sense since they are not compatible with each other. One is that SOMETHING has been watching Earth and want to force about the next stage in human evolution. The other thing Daath said is that Daath basically is the will of humans in a tangible form. So which is it folks?! A different life form out in space what want to change humanity for their own benefits or something inside humans themselves that are causing this to happen.

Photobucket

It is hard to evolve when you are dead. Sounds like you want a clean start Daath.

And if that didn’t make sense…..evolution and DESTRUCTION are two different things. I am not sure why anyone would want to help Daath when it sounds like he wants to start the entire Earth over with just Shu and Mana as Adam and Eve. So Gai 2.0 and other people helping out this eyebrow freak…did you have a plan B or something? Because….most people who get this crystal disease die. A rather painful death or instantly. And you want this to happen to the whole world. Unless people are coming together as orange tang…or crystal dust I am not sure why anyone would follow along with this insanity.

Photobucket

Everyone should be on board with this awesome plan!

According to people who would call me a hater I shouldn’t “over think” this show. I just sit back and enjoy the ride. Well folks when the basic concept of the show isn’t clear to almost EVERYONE…that doesn’t sound like over thinking it to me. I do not know WHY Daath wants this to happen. I am not sure HOW it happens. I am overlooking the Voids are human heart things because that is a part of the sci-fi aspect of the show. But the reasoning behind everything makes no sense. And because of that very basic concept this show makes no sense.

Photobucket

Wicked Lady Reboot?

With that said…there is only one episode left. It is clear we aren’t going to get most of the answers to the questions presented to us during this show. Things just ARE. Shiny with good music but with underdeveloped characters and weak plot points. But hey…I hear they have shiny weapons. ALL IS SAVED!

Guilty Crown episode 20: AH! Now everything makes sense....*backs away slowly*

This entire beginning paragraph has been written and erased like three times. My family is insane. But at least I don’t have to wake up at 6:30 am in the morning tomorrow. But it will probably be thrown in my face later that I didn’t do it. Even though I said I would.

YAY FAMILY!

Photobucket

The face of evil!

Now that I am done ranting and making no sense…TIME FOR GUILTY CROWN! Something else that makes no sense. And episode 22 does not disappoint people. Be ready to be amazed. Spoilers for everything making sense now YAY!

Photobucket

Shu is so amazing he can fly, change into a girl, and travel to other dimensions. HIS VOID IS THAT AWESOME!

Episode Summary: Everyone is safe aboard Arisa’s grandfather’s boat…sans grandfather of course. Everyone watches as Gai 2.0 tells the world he warned them not to attack Japan yet they have done so and hacked the Japanese networks. Thus everyone wants to die and Gai 2.0 promises to bring about an Apocalypse type event. Everyone is like…..this is probably really bad. That Kurachi lady says they are going to meet up with ANOTHER secret military to take out Gai 2.0. Kurachi is like so Shu…you going to help us? Cut to Gai 2.0 and Koudou talking, with Gai 2.0 referring to Koudou as Dad. Koudou tries explaining Shu’s new power to Gai 2.0 but Gai 2.0 seems to already know. Also Inori is no longer in the building. Mana has taken over most of her consciousness but Inori is trying to escape. She won’t though because she is a FAKE Thundercat. Before Gai 2.0 destroys the world he decides to give Shu and the others the truth about….well everything. This is also hinted at when Koudou is referred to as Shu’s Dad’s best friend again. So Haruka sits everyone down to tell them the sad tale of Japan and the crystal rock that was.

Photobucket

Gai 2.0 counted them ALL!

Many years ago Koudou was an asshole student/teacher wannabe at University. Hard to imagine I know. Then one day Shu’s Dad busts in and says that Koudou is smart and amazing. From then on the two worked together on the Genom theory, about how to accelerate evolution and what not. Shu’s Dad gets a lady doctor knocked up and they move to a little island town to raise Mana. One day the rock of doom came from the sky. Mana found it and became infected on a different kind of level. Koudou and Dad discover the rock is a virus that will trigger the special Genom evolution thing inside people. However some ALIEN (that weird eyebrow kid) comes out of nowhere, saying the meteorite was from Daarth and God was going to kill them. Something like that. But have no fear because Mana will be the new Eve and she has picked her unborn baby brother to be Adam. Momma Shu dies giving birth to Shu as she has Cancer Crystals Stage Dead. Eyebrow Alien wants Koudou and Dad to work with them…in helping destroy the world? I mean make it better. Eyebrows gets Koudou on his side as Dad will be Fathering the birth of a new race AKA Shu and Mana. Koudou goes back to the university to work alone. Koudou goes out and kidnaps some kids to make a new Adam for Mana. One of those kids is Gai. Gai 2.0 points out the irony of the situation, that when he escaped Koudou he ended up with Mana anyway. But eventually Haruka, Koudou’s little sister, comes around and falls in love with Daddy Shu. They marry and work on their own crystal research. Life goes on.

Photobucket

Oh Arisa. You were being used to bring back Gai 2.0's true love....HAHAHA!

Haruka wants to bring all the kids to the city to celebrate Christmas and we know how that turns out on the Mana side of things (shot Gai, Mana breaking into pieces, and Shu….broken). Minutes before that Haruka was waiting with Mana shoos Haruka off to go find Daddy. Well Koudou has already found Daddy. Well first Koudou finds Daddy’s diary that explains how to stop the crystal disease with VOIDS and what not. It got stupid and confusing. In any event Daddy walks in and Koudou is like look Daath is going to be MAD about this. Daddy tries to protect Koudou from getting involved but due to poor wording Koudou gets pissed, says they were never friends, and kills Koudou. Haruka arrives minutes later to see a dead Daddy and Mana explodes. The rest is history. Back in the present Haruka is scared that Shu will die if he keeps using his powers. Shu responds by hugging her. Also Haruka explains how Gai 2.0 used Shu to make the students use their Voids because pieces of Mana were shattered all over Tokyo…in very convenient people that Shu knew. Right before Shu gets in the helicopter he decides to give everyone back their Voids. Yes folks Shu’s new power is to KEEP Voids in his fake arm. Everyone is like if you do that how will you fight Gai 2.0. Shu says he will shoot him and he can’t put everyone at risk. Yahiro gets a little pushy and everyone says no. Satou and Shu have a moment, where Shu apologizes for…..being scary and Satou crying thinking that Shu is going off to die. Haruka thinks Shu will success where her husband fails as Shu will fight alone…with other people’s powers. THE END!

X__X This show is amazing. Like it is utterly amazing how awful it truly is! It keeps me on the edge of my seat because I can’t wait to see what train wreck is around the corner. And instead of me doubting my ability to interpret and remember the scenes right I can just blame this show for confusing the heck out of everyone.

SO NEWSFLASH!!!!!! Shu and Mana are 100 percent blood siblings and Mana wanted to jump his bones before he was even more. This is me puking my guts out. Okay Mana was infected with the Sparkle Virus since the age of 5 so really it is hard to hold her responsible when she hasn’t been in control of her body since she learned to tie her shoes. Still folks….PUKING!

Photobucket

You should feel sorry!

But first things first. Apparently Souta is the only one who needs to apologize to Shu. Okay maybe that happened last but it pissed me off the most. I suppose one could argue that Yahiro was pretty much on Team Shu/Team Power from the get go and Shu betrayed him…and Glasses Girl, I can barely remember her name because she hasn’t done much. But everyone else, Ayase, Tsugumi, Argo…YEAH FOLKS! I saw you looking at that touching scene and smiling that Shu got his friend back. How about you get on your knees and apologize for treating him like crap?! Oh you are too busy asking him to save you yet again? Gai 2.0 wasn’t all you hoped and wished for?

Photobucket

And you are all smiling because....?

So…yeah. Everyone is a piece of crap. Maybe Momma Haruka was trying to help Shu the best she could given she was basically a prisoner too and really he was being targeted because of the special abilities in his arm. But everyone else is scum. SCUM! Judging Shu when he was basically following the Gai handbook on how to be a leader when all you have to work with is a bunch of teenagers. Leaving him to bleed to death and die in the streets only to ask him to save the day again when he gets his powers and arm back.

Photobucket

And he still wants to protect these fools?!

And Shu doesn’t mind. SHU DOES NOT MIND! In fact one would argue that he thinks he deserves all this! Why Shu why?! Why are you punishing yourself and blaming yourself for everything? These people betrayed you, Inori the Thundercat is the only person who sorta loves you, and they are going to use you until you die. Yet you don’t demand apologizes and give out handshakes like you need to ask for forgiveness. Psht take the ship and hide out in the ocean until everyone is blown up. LIKE THEY DESERVE!

Photobucket

In danger. Don't leave him with that crazy person.

Other than that drama everything in this episode was a flashback. Because those are often important to explain what the show is about. Just typically we get those kinds of episodes before the damn show ends! I know some mysteries are explained over time but some very basic and important details have been left in the shadows for this show. And really there are only TWO (yes I looked this time) episodes left! What the hell folks WHAT THE HELL?!

Photobucket

Aliens...a major part of the plot? Sure slap that fact on at the end of the series!

First off eyebrow kid is working for ALIENS! I know I have joked about aliens and that this rock was way too special to not be connected to aliens. But this is episode 20 out of 22. Isn’t it a TAD bit late to introduce something so major? Like what is Shu going to do, rescue Inori, stop guy, save Japan from the rest of the world, AND stop the aliens? Or….or folks…is there going to be a season two?! NOOOOOOO!

Photobucket

BRB puking all over the place.

The second major plot point is the exact parentage of who belonged to who kid wise. Maybe I should have been a little sharper when Haruka never talked about Mana but I was holding out hope there was no incest folks. Silly thoughts yes.

Photobucket

See research!

Another interesting plot point was that Shu’s Dad and Koudou were actually researching this Genom and Void garbage BEFORE the stone arrived on Earth. I assumed it had been the other way around. I still only understand half of what is being said but it appears to me Shu’s Dad was really the man behind the theories and Koudou just happened to have one good idea once and he thought he was in charge.

Photobucket

So you HAVE a death wish?

I am not sure how I feel about Shu’s Dad though. Koudou is basically threatening to kill him and yet Dad is saying really stupid things. I work better alone, Why would I be jealous of you, ect. It appears that Dad might just be socially awkward but damn people. Keep yo mouth shut. Or just cry and say you don’t want to involve your friend.

Photobucket

The more they explain this concept the less I understand.

Overall I guess this flashback was supposed to explain everything and we were going to go into these last two episodes going OH this makes sense. But not really. This episode just assumes we the viewers are morons. Just how exactly was Koudou going to make the new “Adam”? Whoever survived being exposed to the Sparkle Virus Mana was going to pick? Shu’s Void Removing Ability has been shown to be partially constructed by science…yet the writers just threw in a few complicated words and we are supposed to buy this special load of crap. Like oh okay obviously humans evolve thus our hearts can be turned into weapons of our biggest fears. Like what? No.

Photobucket

Inori backstory please?

Another thing that was not explained in this episode was Inori the Thundercat. I guess there is still hope…in the two episodes left (or the horror SEASON TWO!) but yeah folks. All this Inori is a fake, Inori is a monster, INORI IS REALLY A MONSTER is getting old. Explain please. Was Gai really using Inori all along to help Mana come out? Because it looked like he genuinely cared for Inori and wouldn’t want her to die to save crazypants Mana. But lets ask Arisa how characters can change at the drop of a hat.

Photobucket

Oh and HE is still alive. I know you were all worried about him.

So…Mana was really hiding in everyone’s Voids from the First Lost Christmas, aliens want us to evolve or turn into Sparkle Crystals, and Shu is the sanest/stupidest person in his family. THIS SHOW IS FUN!

Guilty Crown episode 19

X________________________________X

That has been my face the past three days. If you had told me on Wednesday that parking spaces were such serious business I would not have believed you. But apparently I don’t live near adults, I live near…well my co-workers. Crazy people who lack crucial thinking skills. Wonder if my tires will have air in them tomorrow…..

Photobucket

I'm so creepy, oh so creepy.

So while we wait for someone OFFICIAL to decide what is going on let’s pretend everything is okay and blog anime. Ah yes that crazy show called Guilty Crown. Episode 19 already? WEEE! Ready for amazing adventures? I thought so!

Photobucket

Someone kill her please.

Episode Summary: Gai 2.0 appears to be talking to Inori or gently removing her Void from her body. Hard to tell. Segai watches with very little interest. Haruka tries to sneak in to where she thinks Mana (in Inori’s body…probably…) should be but the room in empty. Koudou finds her instead and she is like….Brother. Oh snap. Then Haruka randomly accuses Koudou of killing her husband, his best friend. He fires a shot at her but Haruka apparently escapes. Arisa is busy pretending to be important when Shu comes behind her and tells her he is rescuing Inori and she is going to help. Just then Arisa and all the other Antibodies get a message that Haruka is on the run. Arisa and Shu leave to go find Haruka. Arisa will take Shu to Inori if Arisa can talk to Haruka. Because Arisa and her insane self want Haruka to tell her (Arisa) what Gai’s plans are. If Arisa knows who Gai 2.0 is she can better….masturbate to tables or something. In return Arisa will take Shu to Inori because Arisa is just so high up on the ladder. Momma Haruka makes it to Casa de Kuhouin only to find out Grandpa is dead. But Kurachi is there and apparently she knows Momma Haruka. They head on over to a building that Funeral Parlor has made their new headquarters. Oogumo and Kurachi listen as Haruka explains that Shu is not her real son. She married his father and Dad died soon after. She raised Shu but now she is questioning her intent behind that. But she is resolved in killing Mana her daughter.

Photobucket

Err you are being killed stupid....

Nearby Segai is out making friends with the locals. Once he gets information out of the girl he…shoots her in the head. He then tells some other locals that Funeral Parlor has vaccines in their hideout. The locals demand to see the vaccine and Oogumo lets them in to show them they have none. Segai and his men shoot up the place, killing nearly everyone inside. Oogumo shields Haruka and allows her and XXX to escape. Oogumo takes out the nonimportant Antibodies but Segai kills him. In another Funeral Parlor hideout (well the ones that pretend to be on team Gai 2.0) are talking about overthrowing Gai 2.0 and how that probably wouldn’t work. Souta is getting worse and the general censuses is he is going to die as he has stage Three Sparkles. There is a brief scene with Gai 2.0 talking to his right hand man Shibungi. Gai 2.0 says he was using Funeral Parlor to become King the entire time. Shibungi then promises to kill Gai 2.0. Argo returns with Kurachi and Haruka. Everyone is :( to find out that Oogumo is dead. Haruka tells Ayase that she has the last Void Super Power up. Haruka says she is a bad mother as part of her wants to give it to Shu as he has shown to be compatible with the DEADLY Genome of doom. Ayase volunteers, knowing the risks. Before anything can be decided Segai is like what Gai 2.0 has friends and arrives to kill everyone.

Photobucket

Momma Haruka wants the best for Shu. That is why she cut off his arm.

Meanwhile Shu has jumped out of a moving vehicle and runs towards the explosions. He makes it there in time to take the Genome away from both Ayase and Segai whom were taking turns falling down trying to grab the tube. Haruka warns Shu that if he takes that it will probably die. Shu thanks his mom for being the best (worse) stepmom ever and injects himself. Segai and his crazy eye watch all @____@ as Shu takes out his own Void which apparently grows his arm back. Shu asks everyone’s permission to use their Voids. Just in case they object due to being in danger and all. Everyone AGREES and Shu sets to work flying around protecting everyone. The only one who is hurt is Argo but he got shot before everything started. The last one standing is Segai and he taunts Shu into killing him. But Shu kills him with Yahiro’s Void which delights Segai as someone else’s heart is inside him. When the rumble clears everyone is so happy to see Shu is alive…but he has the Sparkles?! Satou starts crying as he realizes he is cancer free and Shu took it for him. Off in the distance Inori is crying while Gai 2.0 explains that Shu’s Void is to take everything into himself. Now Shu truly is a martyr and he plans on taking everything into himself and saving everyone. Especially Inori. THE END!

Photobucket

OH SNAP! .....So where is eyebrow kid?

HAHAHA! This show is so awesomely bad. Seriously there are 3 episodes left of this hot mess and there is no sign of answers or anything. AMAZING folks! I don’t even know where to start!

Photobucket

Best looking stepmomma ever.

Let’s start off with something I thought quite a few episodes ago. Momma Haruka is StepMomma Haruka. Which means Mana and her incest ways are not as creepy. She was the older one in the situation, Shu was just a kid, and he was probably like GET AWAY FROM ME…but hey. They weren’t blood related. So everything is okay folks.

Photobucket

And now you throw yourself into work ignoring Shu YAY!

I am not sure what I think about Momma’s confessions of being a bad mom. I do think it is admirable that someone would raise another person’s kid. Of course when someone typically dates a person with a kid they get to know said kid over time. So it is not like Shu was a stranger. Still I think it must have been sad, watching Shu growing up and looking more and more like her dead husband. And the fact that her own daughter went….insane and exploded (into Inori apparently) probably did not put Haruka in the best kid raising mood. She probably could have been a more attentive Stepmomma but maybe I can forgive her since she was trying to make the world better. Or was helping destroy it, not sure which yet. Her vocalizing her WOES IS ME was a bit eye rolling though. Especially in light of all that has happened.

Photobucket

Women have very few things going for them. But in animes the womenz are protected from bullets by the menz. Yay boobies!

Poor Oogumo. You know, the guy who is built like Shrek? It is never a good sign when you are always around but never do anything particularly important. It is always a bad sign when Tenchi starts typing your name out and she never has before. Overall I don’t think I have had much of an issue with Oogumo. Maybe I would feel different if he had been around to screw Shu over. But since he didn’t…he is okay in my book. So sad that he died a pretty pointless death.

Photobucket

Segai and that hat....amazing.

Yes folks I think it was a pointless death. Funeral Parlor is trying to help all Japanese citizens but in times like this it is best to be underground and hidden. Not so much in a high rise building with people confronting you. What could those citizens done to them? I saw no weapons. Also let’s just pretend that Antibodies is everyone and assume everyone is a suspect. Putting a stupid hat on Segai does not make him in disguise and unrecognizable

Photobucket

No really what the heck is going on?!

Of course that does make me question what the heck is going on. Was Segai acting on his own? Because last week Gai 2.0 was like Ayase, Tsugumi, come with me. Why would he bother giving them a choice if Antibodies was going to kill them anyway? Maybe Segai was going rogue but I would assume that Gai 2.0 wouldn’t be too happy with him and would hunt them down. Of course that doesn’t explain why Gai 2.0 let them go back to Funeral Parlor headquarters. Why did he let them Mains go free? Gai did teach them to be amazing after all.

Also Segai’s eye was 218937 percent crazier this week. X__X It moved like a clock. GROSS!

Photobucket

I bet his plans don't include you sweetheart.

Every single week Arisa gets more and more insane. Like she has morphed into someone unrecognizable. I understand that characters grow through experiences or devolve during times of crisis but come one! Now she is willing to drive Shu around so she can talk to Shu’s Mom about Gai 2.0? Can you say SUPER DUPER desperate? I mean….it would have been amazing if they had found Momma and Momma was like dude I don’t know anything. That would have been so amusing! But yes Arisa. You is super dumb. You caused Shu to get his arm cut off, betrayed him, and put Inori in a position to be kidnapped. While he did have a gun to your back the first second I got I would betray his butt. Or when he ran out of the car I would NOT FOLLOW HIM!

In conclusion Arisa is insane. While the others (the Mains who aren’t trying to have sex with Gai 2.0) might live I am counting down the minutes til Arisa gets it. Hopefully by Gai 2.0’s hands.

Photobucket

Inori likes to be amazing...or useless. Nothing in between.

Inori the Thundercat was not shown much in this episode. She is back in the bride’s outfit tied to something….but she is looking like a human now. Those are magical bonds on Inori. But Gai 2.0 was talking again about Inori not being human. The same line as last week but nothing was explained. Because this is Guilty Crown folks. We don’t need any explanations!

Photobucket

Everything ever is Shu's fault!

So now we are back on Shu. Shu Shu Shu….Now….maybe…Shu is the dumbest person on the face of the planet. Or the kindess. I am not sure. He does seem to go on and on a lot about how he has to taken on the burden and what not. What burden is he talking about? He didn’t chose to have the Void power, Gai forced him to join Funeral Parlor, Inori manipulated his emotions, and Yahiro forced him to lead the students.

Photobucket

Hope you feel bad now.

And yet Shu takes all this crap and tries to make it positive. He has been doing the very best he can and when things fail it really isn’t his fault. After Hare died I was expecting him to lose his mind and do insane things. But instead we get some mild rules and slight mistreatment of Rank Fers. And everyone turns on him for no reason.

Photobucket

Yes please let me use your powers so I can save your lives. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!

So…why is Shu acting like he is crawling back to them? Shouldn’t they be on their hands and knees begging for his help? Why is he acting like he wronged THEM?! Did I miss that part or something? I would be like OH SNAP let me put on my team Shu shirt and switch sides again. I would be like oh so Gai 2.0 wasn’t your Lord and savior? Time to leave and rescue my ThunderCat babe.

We have three episodes left folks! Surly that is plenty of time to explain WHAT THE HELL THE ROCK IS, save Inori, have everyone turn on Shu again, kill Arisa, explain who Daddy was, find eyebrow kid, and let Shu die to save Japan. Plenty of time folks!
