So carefree this girl....I wish to be her! Wai where is the happiness?!
Is it already time for new anime shows? A quick look at some downloading sites and the clear answer is yes. Today a lot of episode ones popped up. Spring is upon us whether the weather likes it or not. Time to get my butt in gear and see what interests me with this new crop of shows. Will it be an amazing season or a lot of mehs? Lets find out.

Gokukoku no Brynhildr

What mysteries shall unfold during this anime?

Synopsis: When he was a child, Murakami was infatuated with a girl he called Kuroneko. She insisted on knowing about aliens and having met them, but no one believed her, even young Murakami was skeptical. One day, she decides to show him the aliens, but an accident occurs and Kuroneko dies while Murakami is left seriously wounded in the hospital. Years go by and Murakami obsesses on finding proof of the existence of aliens because of a promise he had made with Kuroneko. Then, one day, a new transfer student comes to his class, who not only looks a lot like Kuroneko, but is named Kurohaneko! And even though she insists on never having met Murakami before, the girl has superhuman strength and seems to even be able to predict the future! How will Murakami's life change now that he has been saved by this mysterious girl that claims to be a magician?

Thoughts: Aliens? Death? Well maybe death? Mystery? Sounds like a good time to me. Something magical is afoot and it either cost Kuroneko her memories or someone is messing with Murakami. It seems to have the right blend of genres for me to appreciate. I like a mix of everything. But too much of one thing might be overwhelming. Unless it isn't because I live to contradict myself. In any event this has peaked my interest so watch I will.

Black Bullet

Weee time to kill things.

Synopsis: In the year 2021, mankind was decimated by the epidemic of Gastrea, a parasitical virus, and is forced to live within Monoliths, which are created from Varanium: a metal that is able to subdue Gastrea. Soon, the "Cursed Children", children born with the Gastrea virus who are able to control it, which gives them superhuman abilities, are discovered. Due to the Gastrea virus' intervention, the Cursed Children could only be female. Civil Securities are formed to specialize fighting against Gastrea, operating with the pair of an Initiator, who are cursed children, and a Promoter, serving to lead the cursed children. Ten years after the epidemic, Rentarō Satomi, a high school student who is also a Promoter in his childhood friend Kisara Tendō's Tendō Civil Security, along with his Initiator Enju Aihara, receives a secret mission to prevent the Tokyo Area's destruction.

Thoughts: This seems sorta like Guilty Crown remix. I know the details aren't the same but I guess after a while if you watch enough shows things start to blend together. Hopefully there will be no magical personality changes that come out of nowhere and ruin the entire show. I guess really I find it funny that Earth has been plagued by something awful and poof kids are being born with the virus but are able to control it to fight against said virus. XD Like a bit ironic there. And a little Resident Evil like. Also special is the fact that in another synopsis I read online the cursed kids are all girls.....aren't they always? Anyway the PV seemed...interesting enough. I guess when I think virus I think tiny things but really aren't all zombie movies sorta like virus based? So them fighting weird looking enemies shouldn't shock me. Anyway I will give it a whirl. XD

Isshuukan Friends

Wai I already have the sads....

Synopsis: Kaori Fujimiya is always alone because all of her happy memories, including time spent with her friends, disappear every Monday. Deciding that he wants to be friends with her anyway, Yuuki Hase tries to get close to Kaori each week, wishing that she would one day call him "a friend."

Thoughts: I have no idea why I even put this on my list. Just thinking about 50 First Dates makes me want to cry. I mean when she wakes up at the end to watch the video on her life/wedding/CHILD and she goes on the boat to see everyone....just BAW. Now I am thinking of Up for some reason and there are more tears. Yeah folks this might be a big fat no. Even if in the end, at the last episode, Yuuki is able to cure her and she remembers him. Because the other episodes will be bitter sweet. Seeing how much fun they have and BAM it starts over. BAWWW! What am I thinking picking this show?!

Escha & Logy no Atelier: Tasogare no Sora no Renkinjutsushi

Is that girl fading or something....

Synopsis: This world has gone through many Dusks, and is slowly nearing its end. Within this world, in the western reaches of the "Land of Dusk," there was a nation that prospered thanks to its use of alchemy. There, in order to survive the eventual arrival of the "Dusk End," the people devoted their efforts to rediscover and recreate lost alchemic technologies. Rediscovered technology from the past era was gathered in the alchemy research city known as "Central," where research was conducted on how to halt the advance of the twilight.

One of the heroes is a young man who researched alchemy in Central, the other a girl living in a small town on the frontier. This girl's name is Escha. In the process of using her knowledge of ancient alchemy to help others, she was assigned to the Development Department. The young man's name is Logy. Having learned the newest alchemic techniques in Central, he requested a transfer to this understaffed town to make use of his abilities, and meets Escha when he is assigned to the Development Department as well. The two make a promise to use their alchemy together, and bring success to the Development Department.

Thoughts: Yeah it is a good thing I read the synopsis for this show. Because the PV really did nothing for me. Or anyway watching it. I know I can't understand the words being said in the PV but really it was just all over the place and didn't give me a serious vibe. The end of the world so to speak sounds a little serious to me anyway. Of course there have been other shows like that....and things were way too happy or serious in other ways. Still the premise of the show SOUNDS interesting. But I can see things quickly going towards lala happy magic and visiting people and smiles land. But magic....words that make little sense...it makes me want to know more. So more I shall learn.

Kanojo ga Flag o Oraretara

 photo kanojogaflago_zpsff7bade1.jpg
Every action pings more flags

Synopsis: Hatate Sota is a high school boy, who has an ability to visualize "flags" for future events such as "death flag," "friendship flag," and "romance flag." Despite the flag-viewing ability, he avoids making friends with others due to a trauma he experienced in a ship submergence accident. Four beautiful girls get interested in his strange way of living, and they begin to live with him at the school dorm by force.

Thoughts: I think when you go into something expecting...certain things it goes smoother. Like when I first heard of Sharknado I sorta KNEW it was going to be bad. Before all those other hanger oners knew about it. I was into bad Sci-Fi movies before it was cool. I can watch Ghost of Mars 3 times in a row without bating an eye. I think I complain more about things when it is presented as one thing and ends up being another. But with this show..I think it is clear the camp is key. Perhaps the only point. I mean I guess there could be serious moments with someone getting the death flag. But I see good times and goofy times and over the top goofy/fun times taking over as this kid tries to dodge people/flags. I mean...I would have hard keeping a straight face too. Given my on time track record blogging this might be asking a bit too much but I guess I will see.

The NOs

Ryuugajou Nanana no Maizoukin Synopsis: The story centers around the treasure of Nanana, a ghost who was once a beautiful but NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training) girl. A boy named Juugo was disowned by his father and forced to transfer to a high school on the "Special Student Zone," an artificial island. With only 40,000 yen a month to live on, Juugo chooses a low-rent apartment that happens to be haunted by Nanana. Juugo and members of the school's adventure club join a "treasure hunt royale" on the island for the Nanana Collection, a treasure that possesses a mysterious power.

Thoughts: So why is this a giant no? First off the art is a lie. I really can't stand it when I see a pic of what the animation is going to be about and then I watch the episode or the PV and the art couldn't be further from the truth. Like sorry we could only afford the A-team for the promotional stills, not anything else. I do like my pretty anime and don't like being fooled with...obvious fail. The main character Juugo seems....out of it. LIKE WOOHOO happy all over the place. Way too much to handle. Apparently this is a treasure hunting anime, with many groups coming together to find this treasure...even though said key to the treasure “lives” with Juugo. But in the PV someone in Juugo's group seems to be fighting against him. Okay......I don't know. Something about this PV rubbed me the wrong way. Like tons of flags saying do not watch me. And since I am already watching a show about flags...I think I will stick with what I have. So this was on the maybe list when I first glanced at things but after further investigation...no. The others have made the cut. Everyone else...sorry, better luck next time.

Isshuukan Friends!!! YAY
I am SOOOO glad you pick this show. This will definitely be good. I would say NO, NOOOOOO to your other shows. For you have a life out there too + your cat. No offense, but I wish you could replay our comments more often. T_T That's why I did not visit your site last season because I know you will not have time reply my comments after seeing your anime list.

But I will definitely do if you keep blog "Isshuukan Friends". :)
Also, this may be out of blue, but I think "Selector Infected WIXOSS" is interesting, at least for the 1ep. But yea, other than these 2 I suggest you drop 2-3 on your list to balance your life and have more time to yourself.

Hope no harm done.
