My entire house...is decorated. Everything. All done. What usually takes me an entire week happened in like 2.5 days. Thanks to the husband pitching in. "Pretend Christmas"....well....it happened. That is as much as I will say for now. I guess any day I get turkey is a good day. Yes lets focus on that. XD
But can I catch up on any anime before I leave town for three days? Probably not. I can get a few posts done before packing at the speed of fast so here I go! Psycho-Pass episode 6 up now. Spoilers for Akane being obsessed with Shinya. Duh.
Episode Summary: Ginoza is having a meeting with an older lady that is higher at the CID than he is. Ginoza reports that while Akane may be special she will probably make a decent agent. There is always the chance she might get too involved like a certain other person named Shinya. The woman takes note of that and also adds that they don't know if being a latent criminal is hereditary or not yet. She calmly sits there and hopes that is not the case as Ginoza would be in trouble. Elsewhere Shinya is trippin on remembering parts of his past. He tries to throw himself into his work with Akane throws herself into finding out what Shinya is all about. Akane decides that Shusei is probably the easiest to talk to so she seeks him out first. Also he is making a meal so hello he must be the perfect person to talk to. Shusei gets a little drunk but manages to tell Akane the story of what happened with Shinya, that an Enforcer under Shinya was killed and that caused Shinya to focus way too much on the job and become a latent criminal. Up next Akane goes to visit Yayoi and Shion who probably just got done having sex or something. Yayoi has more information on the crime itself, that a criminal was running around using some sort of resin to make statues of human parts and would hide them in plain sight. The Enforcer under Shinya was named Sasayama and he was close to cracking the case when he became the next victim. Shinya found him all hacked up and proceeded to lose his mind. He focused so much on the case but in the end no leads were ever found. Akane gets all sad and what not. Shion calls together all the troops as the interrogation of the factory worker latent criminal has been finished. He claims he just randomly sent him in the information on how to reprogram the robots and what not. Shion notes that someone else with a better background in tech. could be backing them up. Suddenly Shinya starts going through files and what not .Ginoza gets upset as Shinya insists this is the same case that happened to Sasayama, that there is someone making crimes possible for other people. Ginoza dismisses all of this and basically calls Shinya crazy.
While all of this is going on there are several scenes at an all girl's school that is basically closed off from society and brags that it promoted a clear hue environment. The Queen of the school is named Rikako and she is busy sending notes back and forth with a particular under classmen that probably is looking for a table to masturbate on. But when Rikako is not talking to this particular classmate others are waiting to serve her. Two school girls are at lunch with one trying to talk about how one of the students in this school has gone missing and no one is doing anything about it. Smart girl talks about how in a school that is supposed to protect them should do a better job of keeping things hidden or solving crimes. The other girl is not so smart and practically orgasms all over herself when Rikako walks by and invites both girls to join the art club. Dumb girl is like MOG SO AMAZING while dumb girl is like BIIIIIITCH! After school Rikako is painting something pretty gross. The girl she was writing to earlier comes by and basically talks about how her stepfather molests her but due to financial matters her mother has to stay with the stepfather. The younger girl cries over her situation while Rikako talks about how she likes Shakespeare and what type of stories she related to. Her home life wasn't that great either. Rikako and her creepy painting self promises to help out the younger girl. Later Rikako is seen painting alone with Shougo as she draws another creepy painting. She talks about how she has many more paintings to finish and has much to live for. He smiles as he knows her painting come alive. Maintenance workers find a faulty “fountain” and turn off the hologram to check on things. Underneath it is a body of the young girl missing from the school. Her head is where her stomach should be, matching Rikako's painting. The maintenance workers don't get at first that this is a real person and not some real statue. THE END!
Well that was an interesting episode that I watched like 4 days ago and didn't write one word about so I have to type it all from memory. Or maybe I can write the summary first and get the screenies at the same time so it can jog my memory. Good idea. GO ME!
It seems there might be a reason that Ginoza is very harsh on the Enforcers. Well besides the fact that his partner became one and he may or may not feel guilty about it. No no, there might be another reason. Ginoza had a little meeting with the big boss upstairs (or maybe just one of the bosses) about Akane and how she is spirited/doesn't follow orders. Now at first this conversation was about how they didn't want Akane to turn out like Shinya but Ms. Boss turned it around quickly to that Ginoza might be in danger too. If being a latent criminal is hereditary or not.
So clearly that means that Tomomi is Ginoza's father yes? That is what I think it is telling us. That would explain why he is harsh on Tomomi and unwilling to accept his ideas. Because usually someone doesn't want to admit their parent is right correct? Like um stop trying to upstage me dad. That has two layers to it. You don't want to look like a little kid at work AND you don't want to be upstaged by a person who is beneath you, a criminal. So there is a lot going on there that might explain why Ginoza is so pissed off at Tomomi and Shinya. And why he is trying to keep Akane on the straight and narrow since he knows what can happen if someone gets too involved and passionate.
We learned a bit more about Shinya this episode. More and more he is looking like the sane one. Well maybe everyone is sane/normal in this world and the system is what is messed up. So maybe none of the Enforcers are really that bad. But Shinya...yeah I am feeling bad for him. For some reason it didn't dawn on me that it was an Enforcer that died. I thought maybe it was another Inspector. Which makes no sense and shouldn't matter, people are people. But it goes to show you that Shinya is a very kind person and cares for everyone, even the people that others consider trash and what not. That and it might just be that Sasayama died so horribly. Anyone might be upset after seeing that.
But I just find it unfair...well the whole system I guess. WAIT! I know what it is like! Saw 4. Or any part of the Saw franchises that had to deal with the cops. But especially the 4th one. The one cop was so focused on doing the right thing and protecting people he sorta cut corners and had a bit of an attitude. But yet that meant Jigsaw needed to test him and put his life in danger. That is how I feel about Shinya. He was just doing his job ...in a very intense way and he got punished for life for it. I am sure the system is unfair to everyone but people who have to deal with horrible things...obviously these things are going to happen. Like they are being set up for failure. Poor Shinya. I don't think he minds as much so I will mind for him.
Akane has...taken a particular interest in Shinya. This makes the viewer interested in him as well. But since she is new in town why doesn't she have any interest in the other Enforcers? She is actually going to them to find out more about Shinya. Like oh hi I heard Shiny is interesting please tell me about him. Why aren't you asking me questions about ME?! You just met me too? Shinya was just doing his job when he shot at the hostage and criminal. I think all the other characters are interesting too and this maybe love story is getting forced too much. Be focused on everyone please.
Oh speaking of Shinya...he is right about everything. But since Ginoza is riding the hate train for Enforcers he is putting all this information out of his mind. Ideally wouldn't everyone want there to be one person behind all these crimes? Like I would want one person giving everyone these ideas instead lots of major criminals. Does that make sense? But Ginoza is like blah blah you have to be wrong because I still have my job and you don't. Blah blah indeed. Beginning to see why Shinya went crazy.
The other part of the episode wasn't as interesting to me. That or I am tired of seeing schools being all crazy over some people. But maybe that is how it is in Japan schools? I would like to think it is made up though. There were popular girls in my school but I don't think it was that bad.
Especially since the popular girl in question is creepy. Maybe it would make more sense if Rikako was some quiet girl and people admired her for that and BAM look insane! Or that Rikako would be popular with other....outcast people. It just makes no sense if other people have seen her pictures that she is so popular. Obviously I am on team smart girl.
Rikako is obviously messed up. Obviously This underclassman is going on and on about how she is being molested at home so Rikako's thinking is to make the girl into beautiful art. Now...maybe if Rikako can relate to all these people she should kill....the people hurting them? Wait applying logic to insane people might be insane itself? I see now. Carry on talking to Shougo. He just is all over the place isn't he?
The episode ends with some dumbasses. I mean I realize they live in a crazy world now but there is a thing...with a head where it's stomach should be. Maybe they are so used to cool technology they can't tell what is real anymore. For me I scream/run first and ask questions later. DUMBASS!
