Nagi no Asukara episode 4

Great big meanie head!!!

One more post then bed!!! The lovely ship anime posts will come tomorrow as I don't have screenies for episode 2 but I do have them for episode 3. Silly me. Silly always. But up last is Nagi no Asukara episode 4. It has already been a month since the new anime season? The time is flying by. Anyway spoilers for Hikari doing a lot of healing, growing, and beating up.

How much worse can this get?!

Episode Summary: Hikari looks a little shocked that the quieter girl Miuna says the sad Boyfriend is her father. A bit of rage that Boyfriend is also a cheater. Miuna wants his help breaking Akari and her dad up. Saya (the brat kid) is all Octopus Head everything and is generally just making the situation worse. Hikari thinks about how sad his sister is and decides he doesn't want to work with Miuna as she is a coward. These words don't make Saya any happier but Hikari walks home to think about this all. Later in the episode Akari goes to visit Uroko to get some sacred fire in a cage. She is slightly less respectful than Manaka and Uroko asks why she isn't at work/has been missing work. She says she is going to break up with Boyfriend and find work under the sea even though that might be difficult. She thinks about Boyfriend and how she met him. Miori was her friend until she fell in love with Boyfriend and was banished. Boyfriend and Miori got married and had Miuna. Akari would often hang out with Miori and just wanted to be with them. Then Miori died and Akari saw how sad Boyfriend as at the funeral as well as Miuna. She knew she had to help but Miuna never accepted her. Uroko is like...aren't you sugar coating it? You were in love with Boyfriend the whole time and you wanted to be Miori. Akari is like jerk. Uroko offers to curse her into forgetting Boyfriend but Akari says she can manage on her own. Hikari is still confused about all of this. But then poof it is school time. The class has broken up into teams of 4 to do some cooking. Of course all the sea kids are a group with Tsumugu working nearby. Hikari has a competition with Tsumugu who is unaware of it. Hikari is choppin away and Tsumugu is talking about how he learned to cook because it was just Gramps and him. When all the food is done everyone is suppose to taste each other's dishes. No one goes to the sea kids so Manaka braves up and asks a group of boys to try theirs. They say it smells like fish but Manaka keeps insisting. They push her to the ground which causes Hikari to be pissed. The teacher fails to stop the anger while Tsumugu is unable to make the boys apologize. Later the sea kids walk to the doll they are making with Hikari still pissed. He wants to know why Manaka tries so hard. Basically it's because Manaka is a sweet person. They open the door and find the entire doll destroyed. Hikari flies out of the room and body slams the two boys into lockers. They are all taken to the Principal who is like what? I got to discipline kids? He decides Hikari is way too angry and sends him home. Hikari is like send those assholes home for destroying our doll. The kids say they didn't and there is no proof. Hikari is outraged and Manaka is like well punish me too, I am going home.

ATTACK!

Kaname and Chisaki stay behind to try to put the doll back together. They are hurt about what has happened when Chisaki sees Saya left a message saying she did it. Chisaki tries to erase it and begs Kaname not to tell as it would get Hikari in more trouble. Kaname and ninja Tsumugu agree the truth would be better. As they walk home Hikari wants to know why Manaka came with him. She says all she does is get protection and she wants to start doing some of her own. She wants to help Hikari and bridge this gap. Hikari is awed at how mature Manaka looks but realizes that might be because of Tsumugu. Both kids look up and see Boyfriend drowning in some scuba gear. They bring him to the surface (to his house) and attempt to take care of him. Since Akari hasn't been to the surface for her job Boyfriend wanted to see her. Akari starts to call him a cheat but then sees the memorial to his dead wife. Hikari grows quiet as the Boyfriend just seems sad. When Manaka and Hikari leave Miuna walks up the stairs. She tells Hikari she destroyed the doll and walks away. Manaka wonders why Hikari didn't yell at Miuna. Hikari has realized it wasn't a race thing but maybe a mom replacement thing and understands that. At school the next day Hikari gets on his hands and knees to apologize to the boys. Everyone gasps that is too much....and Manaka joins him on the floor to apologize too. Forgive us. Hikari then says things won't be right until they hit him back. When the boys hesitate Tsumugu is like look you were both assholes too, forgive him. So one of the boys rushes Hikari and breaks the doors. Now all is okay. Out of the corner of his eye Kaname sees Saya. He follows her as she was going to destroy the doll some more. Kaname is upset that Hikari had to prostate himself and tells Saya she has to apologize. Saya explains in the episode she would do anything for Miuna. Saya used to get picked on at school and Miuna was the only one who didn't join in. The kids turned on Miuna for being different and Saya was accepted back in the class. She saw how Saya suffered in silence. Miuna says only the opinions of people she cared about matters. So...Saya was touched and became Miuna's best friend. Thus she will do anything for her. Saya cries and cries over friendship and Kaname is like...well Hikari is my friend too. Kaname gathers the gang later and Saya apologizes to Hikari. He is shocked Miuna confessed but accepts which makes Saya cry more. Everyone seems happy everything worked out. Everyone but Chisaki as she is the only one who really didn't help Hikari. Sadness. THE END!

Well the Boyfriend isn't having such a great time either....

Oh Chisaki. Oh Chisaki Chisaki. You better step your game up. Because by the end of the episode 4 Hikari was connecting with everyone. Everyone but you. Despite you “looking” after him and him promising to become more mature...you are probably relegated to “older” sister status. Woe is Chisaki. Not too woe of course. Not queerat and psychic power woes okay?

I rather hit people directly in the face. So there!

Starting off Hikari is still XO over this revelation that Boyfriend is a dad. He immediately jumps to conclusion that this is a cheating man instead of a widower. Not sure why since he lost his mom at a young age. But the daughter, Miuna, is very unhappy with this relationship. While Saya is more vocal it really is Miuna's issue. More on that later. It's interesting how Hikari reacted to this. He beat in Miuna's father's face. He doesn't like what the man has done. But Hikari is upset about how Miuna is treating his sister. Like pot, meet kettle. Hikari does call Miuna a coward which.....you know she is in elementary school. Stupid pranks are what they do to get back at people. Hikari is “direct” and is just as hurtful.

How much more does poor Hikari have to suffer?

I guess it is a complicated situation. Hikari assumes Miuna hates his sister for being a homewrecker (which isn't the case) and being from the sea. Which would be cruel.....It still might be true bit that's not the real reason. Yet Hikari isn't happy with Boyfriend because he is from the surface. Hikari was harsh with some surface people already but that might just be a cycle of someone was harsh to him so he is harsh right back. But Hikari might have more reason to be upset. Akari will have to LEAVE her home for this guy. Boyfriend gets to stay where he is. So Boyfriend could be the nicest person ever and Hikari would still be against it. However after seeing Akari crying and experiencing Tsumugu being nice Hikari is conflicted. It's like he and Miuna want the same thing but Hikari thinks his reasons are more noble and he isn't down with her tactics. Plus he was coming to spy or apologize, not cause more problems.

HOMEWRECKER!

We learned a bit about Akari this episode. Obviously she is not going to work. Uroko is a bit...well he seems to know everything so I can't call him slow. But if Akari's options are being banished or staying in the sea....well she's not going to go to work and make herself suffer more. I mean there is going to be suffering no matter what. Just the suffering can be kept to a minimum at home. Uroko seems to want her to go out and conquer her fears.

Pretty much this for everyone.

There must be something afoot, something Uroko knows is going to happen. He was talking to the Sea god (aka the fire) about how it's not time.....for something. For the sea people to be released or let go. So maybe if Akari makes this tough decision to leave the sea it will still work out...eventually. Because Uroko knows. He thinks he super knows best and Akari needs help handling this situation. Well change the rules and she won't be so sad? Use your magic to make ena on half kids? Until then Akari is trying. Even if working in their village might not be an option because everyone hates her.

It's hard to see if Uroko is hurting or helping people's situations. It was like he was trying to make Akari see the truth. However it was more like um stop sugar coating things, it ain't all magic and fairy tales. Like Akari was forced to see the ugly of the situation. See Miuna might not hate sea people as her mother was one. We don't know if she knew but I guess self hate is always an option. Anyway Mom got banished here in Messed Up Village Land. Non banished sea people can still be friends with banished ones. Guess there would be no way to enforce it but still. Mom was banished and high schooler Akari was still friends with her. Unless this Boyfriend just likes them young. Akari claims to have loved the family but...as Uroko pointed out is that the truth? Was Mom Akari's friend but then she fell in love with Boyfriend? Like oh what a nice family, wish I had that. I am sure Akari was sad her friend died but being there for Boyfriend and Miuna is what she wanted, not something that just happened. So...Uroko was nearly suggesting Akari wanted this. Because Akari isn't miserable enough. Karma.

It is the whole school verses the sea kids.....it's just not fair.

Hikari and his classmates are still not having an easy time above the sea. I think the teacher needs to be more on the ball. Like there will always be some kids who are cruel and assholes but letting the sea kids be paired up all the time isn't going to bring anyone together. Just cause more division. And there aren't 200 kids in that class. Open your eyes and see that Manaka got pushed. Now this is when the sea kids and Tsumugu should have fought, not over the doll issue. Nip it in the bud. Turn the other cheek indeed. Get your act together. Teach. Manaka reminds me of an abused dog. Always coming back for more. How much harder does she have to try? People have to meet her halfway or it won't work.

Time for more hitting?

Part of me wants to go BAD HIKARI for hitting those boys later. Or charging them like a bull. Like make sure the people you are accusing are the ones responsible. But on the other hand...i want to slow clap. Does slow clap work in this situation or is slow clap for sarcastic things? I don't know. But those kids were jerks. That might apply to most of the kids. All avoiding the sea kids. Manaka is being super brave and making the first step. So is Tsumugu. But what about the rest of the kids? No one wanting to eat their food, help with the doll? And instead of being gracious or at least the base level of polite the kids push Manaka. So even though they didn't destroy the doll these kids have done a lot to the sea kids. Hikari needed to set these punks straight. Like we aren't going to take this anymore. Can't walk on us yo.

I think.....she might have deserved it. That probably makes me a bad person though.

So who destroyed the doll? The very vocal brat Saya. She has been very....outspoken with her anger while Miuna is a festerer. Considering it is happening to her....But yes Saya left an I DID IT sign on the doll which Hikari would have never found out about. In fact Miuna confessed to the crime to either protect her friend or show Hikari she isn't a coward. Had Saya not confessed/been caught by Kaname Hikari wouldn't have known. Saya's reason for doing all of this wasn't very compelling. Perhaps she doesn't really hate sea kids either. Just Miuna didn't like this one family so Saya was down for pranking and being mean. Saya has a lot of loyalty to Miuna for several reasons. When Saya was getting picked on by everyone in her class (probably for being a brat) Miuna didn't join in. When the attacks switched to Miuna Saya didn't aid the girl at first which caused Saya a lot of guilt. Her eyes were broken faucets while she is telling this story. So...yeah. That was her reasoning.

Accept my sincere apology even though you are douchebags too.

Hikari went through a lot of emotions in this episode. Upset at Boyfriend. Sad that Boyfriend might be a nice person. Pissed at his classmates. Super pissed that nothing happened to those kids since they did at least push Manaka. I would be upset too that there wasn't more punishment. Manaka was there for him to accept the punishment which made Hikari all sparkly. Like I am supposed to protect Manaka and yet she is growing up and protecting me. But that quickly turned into sadness because Manaka is leaving him behind for Tsumugu. Then it was a roller coaster of emotions as he rescued/took care of drowning Boyfriend. It's like Hikari hates the idea of him. But the Boyfriend himself seems nice, wants to be with his sister or make things right. Hikari couldn't even hate on Miuna when she “confessed” because he knows what it is like to lose a mom. So by the time Saya confessed Hikari was all emotioned out. Like what is going on?! I'm FEELING!!! I mean he took a big step to prostate himself in front of those boys. Like I made a mistake and I am apologizing for it. Hopefully that shows EVERYONE they need to start acting a little nicer to each other. But yeah....after Saya really confessed it was just a BAWWW fest in Hikari's head I am sure.

Well...then do it?

So why poor Chisaki? Well what did she do? She sorta keeps Manaka together. Which is nice since she wants Hikari to herself. But Chisaki is so important to group morale and over all maturity she is getting over looked. Or is that her own doing? She could have stood up for Manaka. She could have went home with Hikari on a united front. I thought it was sweet that she was willing to hide that Saya did it. She didn't want Hikari to look wrong. I understand how that might have hurt him in the long run and made him mad at her but....I can see and appreciate why she did that. Not that Hikari will ever know. Then even Kaname sweeps in and gets Saya to apologize since Hikari embarrassed himself. Now Chisaki is just thoroughly forgotten. Woe is her. :(

Everyone say AWWWW!

Is there anything else that happened in this episode? Boyfriend has a dead wife. Akari might be selfish. Boyfriend almost drowneded. Hikari hates everyone. No one loves Chisaki. So is everyone a half sea/half land offspring? Despite there being so much animosity between the two towns it seems like it's all a front. Like rawr you all suck. Except you. You I like. Next episode should be all about sad Chisaki right? Tsumugu needs to stick up for his new friends more. Be the bridge land kid. Also what was Uroko talking about? Not yet? Not yet.....are all the sea people being kicked out or are all the land people being let back in? Guess we will find out next time weeee!

Little Busters Refrain episode 4

HMMMM! I thought I was going to have 6 posts before I went to bed. But a group of screenies has run away on me. I love technology. So I guess those two posts will have to wait until tomorrow. Let it be known it was anime day in the house of Tenchi today though. There are almost 6 full posts for reading pleasure. XD

Kyousuke knows everything always!

So sleepy. So here is Little Busters Refrain episode 4. Spoilers for everyone being a giant liar.

I WONDER WHO?!?!?!

Episode Summary: Yuiko repeats the last few moments of the previous episode. That she wished she had experienced love and to protect Rin. Riki is upset at this apparent goodbye and tries to reach for Yuiko as everything goes white and fuzzy. He wakes up and it's June 21st. He acts like the timelines didn't repeat itself all 1,000 times and hops off to class. All the girls are talking excitedly while Kengo and Masato associate. Riki asks where Yuiko is. Everyone shrugs, saying she must be skippin today. During break Riki goes to get a soda when he catches Mutsumi Accomplice spying on him. She wishes to stay hidden but Riki ends up saving her from a bug. She works up enough courage to confess to Riki. He gets all blushy face but she quickly apologizes as he already likes someone else. She just wanted him to know and she runs off. Riki goes to the club room to think this over. Who does he like? Suddenly he thinks of Rin and gets completely blushy face. He convinces himself it's not Rin hen Kyousuke the ninja pops up and says it's Rin. Riki tries to deny it but Kyousuke says an older boy confessed to Rin. Riki doesn't know how to react. Kyousuke says Rin doesn't know anything about love. Plus how can Riki be jealous if Riki got confused to too. Kyousuke starts to be his cryptic self and it goes over Riki's head. He goes to think about it alone when Rin comes to his room, saying she needs him. More blushy face. Turns out a certain brand of cat food was on sale and Rin needed help carrying it.

What an amazing build up!!!!

On the way home Riki not so smoothly brings up the fact Rin got hit on. Rin was like oh yeah that....didn't you get hit on too? Due to some magical force (gravity) the two end up rolling down the hill due to dropped cat food. Riki ends up on Rin. He is embarrassed while she is still dead panned. As they pick up the cat food they talk about how Rin thinks being in a relationship is...well too much. She had never thought about it before since...you know...she is Rin. Riki tries to laugh this off when Rin is like let's date Riki. Suddenly Riki is nodding his head and says yeah that makes sense!!!! We are already around each other all the time and we have been friends forever. We should just date. It's an agreement. They walk home like nothing has changed. That night Riki can't sleep over this new development. Rin texts him basically nothingness but since they are dating it is amazing. She then asks who should tell Kyousuke. Rin thinks she should but Riki has a penis so he will do it. The next day Riki tells Kyousuke he and Rin are together. Kyousuke is very happy for them. Riki is a man now!!!! Riki seems relived that Kyousuke didn't go all big brother crazy on him. Kyousuke does get serious and says Riki is responsible for Rin now. Riki tries to brush it off, that Kyousuke isn't graduating yet. Still Kyousuke has serious face on. Rin and Riki gather the rest of their friends so they can tell them they are a couple. All but Yuiko are present. Everyone is over the moon happy. A little too happy. A bit of light teasing but tears of joy and about time!! Riki and Rin eventually leave the room to go be awkward somewhere else. Kyousuke then turns and it is serious times. All the girls get in a line. Bittersweet smiles. Kengo and Masato watch as all the girls nod...and walk off into a light, disappearing. Outside Rin is feeding some cats when Riki joins her. He seems super giddy about the whole dating thing while Rin is like will what do we do now? Riki thinks of how Rin has always been there for him and now he will do what Kyousuke says and take care of Rin. A cat with a not on it's tail hops up and they quickly read the message. One more talk until they are told the secret of this world? Volunteer in class is what the note says. What does that mean? THE END!

So now you are gone for real? Already!?

…...Is this show really 2X episodes long? Because....yeah. The way the episode ended made me think that 12 episodes will be too much at this point, let alone 20 something. Unless Riki finds more girls to replace the ones he apparently just lost. The school is full of them. But yes.....what the hell is going on?!

And no one cares the end!

But before we talk about the death of the Little Buster Baseball Team...let's talk about Yuiko. Yuiko had her moment at the end of episode 3. Crying and saying she accepted her fate despite wanting to experience love. Riki wakes up after Yuiko...disappears into the snow and restoring the timeline. Because explaining that would be crazy. CRAZY! And it would also be crazy if...Riki forgot about Yuiko? I guess she really was just erasing the memory of that night in his head...and all the other June 21st. She was just a little embarrassed/sad about her failed confession and taking the day off from school. OR NOT!!!! Clearly not. And since it is apparent everyone is in on this...insanity that is why none of the girls went to visit Yuiko. Because normally they would care. Just like they would normally care if Riki was losing his mind.

Okay I have done my part. Now go into the world and do good.

Even though Riki knows something is up with this crazy group all of the snow has melted into his brain. He is better folks. Time to get a soda and sit down, think this all out. Only Ms. Accomplice Mutsumi has snuck up on Riki. Well really she was spying and a bug forced her to talk to Riki. I am convinced the bug was a plant by Kyousuke. Anything that happens to Riki has to be done by Kyousuke I am convinced. Because I don't think Mutsumi wanted to confess. I think she was okay with spying on Riki. It took a lot of nerve for her to say what she had to say to Riki, that she liked him. Then she was quickly like but you like another girl so it's okay BYE! Maybe it was a way for her to move on from her crush, to vocalize it out loud so she doesn't have what ifs all her life.

Get out of my mind!!!! How dare I think things like this!

It doesn't matter what Mutsumi wanted though. She was there to be a game flag. What? I already like someone? Who? Riki has to go and ponder this in the club room. Well the stolen club room. I am surprised that Yuiko's semi confession didn't come to mind. Like hmmm that could be a girl....but nope. It is all about Rin. On one hand I think it might be cute. Maybe. Like look at us, growing up together and we didn't realize what we had was love. We were already that but we just didn't apply the word to it. Just so easy it works. On the other hand...can it really be love without the butterflies and silly looks? I mean they will come NOW but it was almost like if Mutsumi hadn't said what she said it would never have dawned on Riki. Like wait I can be in love with Rin?! Let's roll with that! Just how it could be taken but I am guessing we are supposed to take it the first way.

How long have you been standing there?!

Something surprising (or not really) is Kyousuke is okay with this. Given that Kyousuke has given Rin and Riki the clues and was probably trying to set this up from the get go it can't be that surprising. Just I am surprised that there is an older brother in the anime universe that is okay with his little sister dating. And dating his best friend no less. A best friend that without my yaoi glasses on that is probably more compatible/closer to HIM. Almost breaks the universe there folks. Kyousuke is probably more okay with this than Rin and Riki. There was right amount of caring and teasing. With a bit of sadness. Because something is up folks.

SO ROMANTIC!

Riki is still startled by all this insanity so when Rin demands to buy cat food it is all jumpy time. What do you mean you want to spend time with me?! What insanity is this?! Rin is like just carry the cans and stop talking. Only they can't do that without Riki having a spaz attack. I am certain that Kyousuke made those cans of cat food go on sale so Rin could make Riki go to the store and fall down the hill. To stare into each other's eyes. For them to confess to the other that someone else has confessed to them. This moment was supposed to be a romantic one but because it was with Rin the deadpan and...practical it was special.

Love at first fall.

While Yuiko might be (have been?) the one without emotions Rin is special when it comes to love. She is obviously is a tomboy who just followed her brother around and his friends. She has no real girlfriends of her own and I guess having a boyfriend never dawned on her either. So...I guess she loves Riki. Almost like everything seemed like too much work. Love? What is love? I spend time with Riki and Riki is my friend. So we will be boyfriend and girlfriend. Deal? Deal. Riki...well he has been thinking about this for 5 whole hours so he is on board for the relationship thing. Pick these cat food cans up, we are a couple now!

Most realistic texting conversation ever!!!

Riki and Rin are going to be an odd couple I can tell. I CAN TELL! Not that it is obvious or anything. But I think it is cute and realistic. Teenagers are supposed to be awkward. Add two of the together and it's blushy faces and silliness. Riki and Rin texting nonsense to each other. Like I know we are supposed to text but I don't have anything to say and will say I have nothing to say to make it more weird. Still they were happy in their silly. Although they did talk about one subject: What to tell Kyousuke. Because APPARENTLY only Riki and Rin don't know what is going on and that Kyousuke won't mind. So they think this might be a deal. Riki is all like no I have the penis, I must talk to the other penis in this situation. In any other case this would be eye rolling, like okay you not so big bad man. You talk to MY brother. But in this case...Riki does seem closer to Kyousuke. I will let this slide.

Why so serious?!

There was no weeping and gnashing of teeth when Riki told Kyousuke. You know because they already talked about it earlier. Or because Kyousuke has been planning this the whole time. So Riki was all nervous for nothing. Deep sigh of relief. Just Riki and Kyousuke chillin there, being all friends and peaceful. Like is wonderful. Kyousuke did give a big brother speech. But not a normal one and not because Kyousuke is odd. No this speech was like....telling Riki to take care of Rin forever. Because all high school romances last forever. But yeah....this is getting a little dramatic. Kyousuke is going on and on how Riki has to take care of Rin now. Like buddy you still have a lot of high school year left and after you graduate you can still see them later. It's not like you are banned from talking to people you knew in high school forever. Rin is your sister. Take care of her too.

Just a feeling? Okay we are going out. Time to tell the crazies.

However something super major is going on. Super major. First everyone was told that Riki and Rin were going out. In one huge group. Weird. Couldn't let it slide into the conversation naturally. No no we must tell everyone at once because they are Little Busters and what if Rin and Riki being together ruins that?! THE HORROR!!! So they have to tell everyone at once and it was....odd. Everyone was like MOG I have waited for this forever. Go Riki and Rin. Tears in our eyes happy. You know which is odd because a lot of the girls act like THEY like Riki. They wouldn't mind if the game ended with a Riki/Them pairing. Plus these taco heads have only known each other for a short time. Why all the tears? Where was Yuiko? Maybe this was all too odd for Rin and Riki as they got all blushy and bounced after the meeting. Too caught up in each other to notice the pink elephant in the room.

Okay Komari stayed. Probably because Rin still needs one friend or she will know something is up...

Actually is it a lot of elephants. Many pink elephants who are wonderful liars and actors. Noumi knew what was going on. That was a given. So did Kyousuke. Yuiko was acting super odd last episode. So maybe I should have suspected EVERYONE knows. Everyone but Rin which is also odd. Oh and did I mention that ALL the girls DISAPPEARED?! Like Kyousuke nodded at them and poof. Goodbye they went. Which explains why no one was super worried about Yuiko. She just went on first. Riki and Rin should have noticed but are too busy being in love. So EVERYONE knows something is up. But what?

Because that is all Riki will have now.

Well...there are several conclusions/theories I have come with. Yuiko greatly implied she was dead. Wish I could have loved, accept my fate, protect Rin because I can't. Then all the nonoriginal Little Busters smiled sadly and walked off into a bright white light. What does this symbolize? Death. That all these girls were wandering spirits that couldn't rest because bad things happened to the,. With Komari and Mio I thought their situations were believable. Maybe Yuiko except the whole getting emotions after 1 month despite being emotionless for years. But Haruka's story never made sense. Two dads? Why? Noumi's was not possible at all. So since some of them aren't believable maybe NONE of them are. Maybe Komari was the sick one and died. Maybe Mio's split personality drove her crazy and she killed herself. Maybe the abuse Haruka suffered was so bad she died. Noumi obviously died during that torture. Not sure how Yuiko died but she be dead. All of these girls were super sad and Riki was able to “fix” their problems and send them on their way peacefully. Perhaps Rin is connected to this because she gave all the girls friendship, something they lacked in their real lives? Thus they love Riki for saving them and are okay with Rin being with him. You know since they are dead. Of course this opens up questions why Kengo, Kyousuke, and Masato knew. And why dead girls are real....

Another theory is none of this is real. None. That something with Riki's narcolepsy has gone super terrible wrong and he is having a very bad dream. Like pieces of what happen on the show might be real and some aren't. Like Noumi getting free from the terrorists. Because all the nonoriginal Little Busters being dead and still being there doesn't make any sense. But if this is some narcolepsy dream why is Kyousuke in charge? At the end of the episode he wrote the two another note about the secret of the world. And Kyousuke did state in episode 1 he would do things over and over again. Like poof no more world. Restarting it just for Riki? That would mean if memories were retained everyone would know each other very well and are all playing the same roles over and over again. Yuiko just got a reset for every single day as she seems to be done with this resetting business. Only Riki and Rin aren't part of this. Hopefully I am right about Rin as she seems off in lalala land but straight forward at the same time.

I am totally missing something. Something important...

In conclusion I have no idea what I just wrote. I think I managed to confuse myself and everyone else. No spoilers though you original source people. Clearly this is meant to be confusing. Kyousuke is in control, the other girls are probably dead, and given the songs for this show Kengo, Masato, and Rin will need healing. Is Riki earning enough feel good points to save someone? Oh Lord is it Rin? Is Rin the real dead one? That Riki can't accept it and Kyousuke made this world for him? But why be so happy Riki and Rin are together? If Rin is the real dead one then push Riki to another girl. Oh Lord my head. Peace out.

Machine Doll wa Kizutsukanai episode 4

YAWN! Fading fast here folks. This whole daylight savings time thing is always so odd. Why do we both doing it anymore? Farmers aren't the majority anymore. They can use lights. Let the rest of us have the same times. Done of this back and forth stuff.

Before I go to bed I shall get a few more posts up and done. I have been busy this Sunday. The husband was out and about so I spent most of the day typing. Here is Machine Doll wa Kizutsukanai episode 4. Spoilers for....well Felix being a turd?

Til you killed her Felix?

Episode Summary: Charlotte continues to cry, saying this is all her fault. Raishin says it is not and he is going to stop Cannibal Candy once and for all. Raishin then collapses to his feet as he is you know, super hurt. He tells Yaya to talk to him as Felix will clearly stand there and wait his turn to attack. Yaya explains why Charlotte is not Cannibal Candy, something she couldn't do last episode. Charlotte has been through a lot. She is currently looking for most of her family. She came from a great family of nobles and a giant network of robots. They were well to due until one day a robot dog that Charlotte owned and loved attacked another noble boy. That greatly tarnished the family and most of the robots had to be put down. While Charlotte went to boarding school the rest of her family went missing. The humans that is. Now Charlotte is on a mission to collect the hearts of all the dismantled robots to slowly put her family back together. Raishin decides this all makes him mad and he vows to take down Felix. Felix is like um she is actually Cannibal Candy. Raishin rolls his eyes and says clearly Charlotte things robots are people too and would never kill anyone's family. Felix then allows his crazy to fly free. Raishin starts off the battle revealing who Felix's robot really is, someone wearing Lisette's face since he killed her. Raishin asks the doll her name and she says Eliza. Raishin gives Eliza the chance to remove herself from the fight since she is a tools can't choose their masters. Eliza basically says eff you so Raishin resolves himself this won't end peacefully. So the battle begins. Off Yaya fights since Sigmund is down for the count. When Eliza starts to use an array of magic spells Charlotte and Raishin realize that Eliza gains the abilities of those she eats. Felix shows how down and dirty he can be as he attacks Raishin directly. He takes a hit but Yaya doesn't listen and protects him instead of fighting Eliza. On the roof top Magnus and his hoes are watching the whole fight. Kimberly joins him on the roof and they both have different viewers on how the fight is going. Kimberly thinks that Raishin is dying and losing, but having great resolve. Magnus thinks the fight will be over soon due to the secret being exposed.

So you...have no real talent and set yourself up for failure? Amazing.

Yaya is captured by another spell that Eliza knows and she is thrown around on a giant mace. Raishin powers himself up as he can make himself doll like too. Charlotte is worried Raishin is going to die protecting her and gets all sad face. She is worried that Raishin will be branded like her, like Cannibal Candy. Raishin rushes Felix but Eliza stops him. Felix decided he will let this all go if Raishin is his partner during the Hunger Games. Raishin is like no way dude and sets to work freeing Yaya from the mace. She attacks Eliza again and it is revealed that Eliza isn't using all sorts of magic at once. She is discarding circuits at large once the first spell is done which is hurting her greatly. Felix's power only comes from all those that he has killed. There is more attacking and tree chopping and Felix acting like he is going to kill Raishin. Eliza turns herself into some kind of acid mist which traps Yaya inside. It starts to eat at her clothes and skin. Eventually Yaya starts to bleed and when Eliza absorbs Yaya's blood all hell breaks loose. Eliza is not able to handle how powerful Yaya is and Yaya is able to overpower her. Raishin talks to Eliza one last time before Yaya delivers the last blow. She poofs and Raishin walks over to Felix. Felix is like NOO don't hit me I am important and people will make you suffer for I am too important to hit. So Raishin hits Felix and apologizes to Charlotte for taking all the revenge. Charlotte is all blushy as she accepts that Raishin has helped her. He also apologizes to Yaya as his plan the entire time was to make her bleed and have that be used against Eliza. Yaya is more concerned about Raishin being hurt. On the roof Magnus and Kimberly begin to depart, the battle over. Magnus has not opened the vial Raishin has given him but assumes it is ashes and it is a declaration of revenge. Kimberly wants to know how Magnus has so many ban dolls at his age and wonders who they ate....Later Raishin is given his qualifications as he is allowed to take part in the Magic Games. It is a dramatic ceremony and Kimberly explains later the school had been under fire due to all the dead kids and this was a nice distraction, making Raishin look important. Still he is Second Last and he has a lot to prove himself. He goes outside to greet his adoring fans which includes Charlotte acting like she doesn't like Raishin being a candidate. She gets him a present anyway and Sigmund reveals how much she really does care. Raishin jokes he might go easy on Charlotte during the Magic Games which makes both Yaya and Charlotte go WTF. THE END!!!

Also congrads on getting the girl?

Congrads Raishin. This entire series won't be about you earning qualifications. I thought that would be the first season and then maybe a second season would be about him meeting even more people and having a hard time wrapping his head about having to fight them to get to Magnus. Then Charlotte and him would be the final two and Magnus would show up before things were settled. Raishin would get his revenge and since that is all that he wanted Charlotte can be Wiseman and all will be well in the world. Well as long as Raishin doesn't make any more friends....friends are hard in competitions when you are fighting for your life.

But I guess I am getting way too ahead of myself. Back to the topic at hand. Raishin is super hurt. Last I check Yaya was hurt too. They travel a pretty far distance in a short amount of time and protect Charlotte. Of course this is a perfect time for Charlotte to cry and have her back story explained. Like what the heck folks?! Felix is sitting right there, waiting to attack. He is running around framing people and murdering other students just to get one person out of the competition. He isn't exactly that sane. INSANE indeed. There are still lots of other people to worry about and yet he was so focused on Charlotte he was willing to put everything on the line to get rid of her. So...don't be sitting around having a tea party and cry session when there is evil afoot.

How more sadness can there be?

Instead of fighting right away though we did need to have that tea party and cry session. Charlotte thinks this is all her fault. It is Felix's fault no matter how you strike it. She can't help but be the best. She didn't ask Raishin to be apart of the investigation. She didn't ask him to save her. So she is apologizing because these things are happening to her and he is steppin up to protect her. That segways into how many different ways Charlotte's life sucks and how she can't possibly be Cannibal Candy due to moral reasons. And dear lord this is a lot of suck and sadness in Charlotte's young life. Like she is trying to win the award for most tragic heroine. She was living the high life with all her fancy robots and it all went crashing down because a dog robot attacked a boy. It didn't even state that the kid died. But instead of putting down just the dog robot they put down the entire fleet and the family was shamed forever. Hello this entire school is missing dozens of students and I don't see it getting shut down. So me thinks this is slightly dramatic. I know robots shouldn't attacking kids but still. Charlotte seems more bent on bringing back her robot family than finding her real life family. Well real human family members. Guess she can't do that much but she can buy back their hearts. This all shows Raishin that Charlotte is like him and thinks robots are people too. Although why wasn't Sigmund put down given his past? HMMMM so much dramatics and sadness. Go get them Charlotte, now Raishin has tears in his eyes and fire in his heart.

Don't even try to say such stupid lies.

I like how Felix tried to tell Raishin that Charlotte was Cannibal Candy. Like after all that he still tries to paint her as the baddie. Like really, how much evidence does there need to be that Charlotte is not Cannibal Candy. Felix didn't even try to give any facts or details. Just nope it is her. LALALA it is her. That is what you get for not attacking first Felix. I mean if you are going to play dirty you might as well go all out. Don't be a half assed villain yo.

Eliza morphed into a lot of things....

After Raishin was not convinced it was morphin time. Raishin needs flashier names for spells. Lets gets Mami up in here and get some better spells. Charlotte didn't even try to use Sigmund in this fight. He did get squished in tiny mode so you know. But before the battle started Raishin showed his gently side again. Last episode he had a conversation with Shouko it was expanded on that Raishin really does think robots are like people. So to him killing a robot is a big deal and he isn't going to do it unless he has to. He has a personal conversation with Lisette whose real name is Eliza to make sure this is what she wanted. A tool can't choose its master but it would make sense that they would adopt the same mind set as their master. Well within reason. If the master beats them to death and forces them to do things against their will. But Eliza is a ban doll and is down for death. So battle time it is.

See? Look after the battle Yaya is just fine. What is she made of?! X___X

Yaya seems to use just strength when she battles. Doesn't look like she uses a lot of magic. Eliza on the other hand had tons of magic. It is hard to fight an enemy who uses all sorts of tactics and magic when you are expecting one way of fighting. That isn't the normal and all those involved and watching realized that Eliza couldn't really be doing this. There are rules in this magical robot doll land okay folks. The rules do not exclude the human puppeteer being saved but meh. Who needs safety right?

Nope just a cheater.

It turns out that Felix probably had a very weak doll. That Eliza's real power was probably something just average. She gained her real power from all the hearts from the dolls she ate. That could be the real power. So that explained why she was able to do everything and go POOF to something else. The super draw back is it was usually just one spell and it was done. That if Eliza wanted to change up her tactics because Yaya was overwhelming her she would have to throw that circuit away and move on to the next one. That would leave Eliza very vulnerable. Also given how long the battle lasted probably very broken. Felix seems to want to get things done as fast as possible. But Yaya was punching away. Like I ain't going down without a fight.

Err...I guess that makes sense.

In the end the way Raishin took out Eliza was a bit...well special I guess. Something I wasn't expecting. I assumed that Eliza was using magic from the hearts of fallen robots. Not absorbing them mid battle. But maybe Yaya forced Eliza to absorb it? It was hard to tell. You know, with all the clothes melting and all. But through some magic Eliza absorbs Yaya's blood which is super blood. Also BLOOD folks. Won't that make her a ban doll too? But yes Eliza doing that was the last nail in her coffin. Raishin gives her one last look before poofing away. Begone you evil doll.

HMMMM what do we have here? Watching Raishin? Why?

There were looking loos during the entire battle. Magnus and his harem was on the roof and Kimberly was up there too. You know because helping would be insane. And Raishin might not have accepted it. These moments showed a bit about what is going on. Magnus has an interest in Raishin despite not knowing him. He knows what the vial has in it and what it signifies. Yet it looks like he still doesn't know who Raishin is. He has more faith in Raishin that Kimberly does. He did rank rather low so she might just think he is a hot head who gets in over his head with everything. Yet she seems to know more about Magnus than she is letting on. Why do you have so many ban dolls Magnus? HMMM she has her eyes opened. Now if she only knew that Raishin and Magnus were related...

I am important! Don't punch me in the face!

After punching Felix in the face and helping Charlotte to her feet...it was reward time. Kimberly was probably right, there was so much celebration over Raishin being given qualifications to cover up all the dead kids. Like um hello where is the investigation and body bags and sorries. Angry parents pulling their kids out of this dangerous school? I guess if there is a school that prides itself on the Magic Games as their main fame thingy...parents should know. Still I wish it didn't wrap up so happy. There is a dead girl in a tube. Probably countless more. A rich kid who thought he was above it all was responsible. Someone needs to pay ya'll.

It's not like I like you or anything...TAKE THE PRESENT!

Raishin got his way though. He protected the girl, got Yaya to really devote herself to him despite his master plan being...to get her to bleed and cause lots of damage, and he stopped the Cannibal Candy killer. Oh and he got his magic glove which means he is one of the chosen ones. It did end on a silly note, with Charlotte acting like she isn't happy with Raishin being selected but then she gave him a present so you know that cancels all the anger out. Does Raishin get the giant jacket too? I notice that Charlotte doesn't wear it but you know...she carries around her robot and no one else really does besides Raishin. So will Charlotte's sad past keep Raishin from reaching the top? Not if Yaya has anything to do with it? You fight on Yaya....because you have to basically. XD Until next time....

Machine Doll wa Kizutsukanai episode 3

So far behind!!! So far behind only a Thanksgiving Holiday from work will help me catch up on anime. Oh we are going to Disney for those three days off? DOOM! Doomed I tell you!

And then Yaya went Super Sayian?

What can you do? Except block all any other internet sites, hide the Pokemon X, and stay out of the mall. Or you know....not RARW after work. Anime blogging should be fun and putting pressure on myself isn't going to make posts come up any faster. So....posts shall come when they came. Up now is Machine-Doll wa Kizutsukani episode 3. Spoilers for this show moving really, really fast. Like super fast.

Episode Summary: Raishin and Charlotte walk in to the school campus threshold and are surrounded by smoke. They both automatically think it is Cannibal Candy. Raishin has horrible visions of Yaya being the dead one, with her main circuit ripped out. They run to the scene and see that it is another robot that is toast. Raishin notes it is also a robot from one of the boys that attacked Charlotte the other day. Felix and the others are in full Disciplinary Mode as they investigate the crime scene. Felix realizes that Charlotte was out in town on a date with Raishin and clearly she has made her choice. She runs off all upset as Raishin tries to talk to Felix as he has been asked to be on this case too. Raishin returns to his room to find Yaya “cooking” dinner and losing her mind. She was basically upset that Raishin chose Charlotte over him. Raishin apologizes and gives her shoes as a present. Then he talks about how Shouko has giant boobies which makes Yaya sad again. Raishin tries to change the subject, that he only went out with Charlotte to prove that Charlotte was not Cannibal Candy. But since Yaya didn't spend every second with Sigmund. The phone rings and it is Lisette. She lives in the same dorm as Charlotte and apparently the girl ran out to find the Cannibal Candy killer. Raishin goes to find Charlotte but when he opens the door he finds Shouko and her other two robots. As Yaya receives a lecture from one of the dolls on how to be more....submissive Shouko lectures Raishin on his lack of destruction when it comes to dolls. If he wants to be the very best he can't catch them all, he has to destroy them all. Raishin says he won't, that he sees them as humans. Shouko is all sigh what to do with this boy and talks about how the school has hid a lot of facts surrounding this case. Raishin gets frustrated as he just wants to help Charlotte. Shouko then unleashes Yaya's true power but warns the rules of this world still apply. Raishin and Yaya run out to help Charlotte as Shouko stays behind. One of the other robots worries that Yaya is too much for Raishin. Shouko thinks back to when she found Raishin in the snow inside the rumble of his broken house. He was trying to master puppetry and she admired his courage. She thinks he can handle Yaya. She also wonders if Raishin will be able to kill Magnus who turns out to be Raishin's older brother.

Was it tasty bait?

While Charlotte is outside exploring the grounds Raishin runs into Lisette and he asks to help investigate which apparently irritates her. She takes him to the giant vault full of robots. Yaya is made to stay outside because of the fragile nature of things. While they walk around Raishin asks questions about certain people's robots. Lisette goes to show Raishin Felix's robot when Raishin remembers a conversation they had during the first investigation. Basically Lisette spoke about something that she shouldn't have known. Raishin runs off and opens another container. Inside of it he finds the body of Lisette, revealing the girl who is Lisette to be a banned doll. She appears and beats the shit out of Raishin. Raishin escapes and Lisette throws suspicion onto Raishin when guards come by. Charlotte has run into a robot outside and she has Sigmund pin him to the ground. Before she can see who the culprit is Felix appears and explains this was bait for Cannibal Candy. Well it turns out that Raishin didn't escape. My bad. When he is being taken away Kimberly looks over his wounds and sees how injured he really is. Yaya is pretty broken on the ground too but Raishin seems to give Yaya a command and she powers up again, all crazy like. Felix orders his men to investigate all the red light they see (which is Yaya) as he deals with Cannibal Candy Charlotte himself. Well Charlotte slowly realizes it is Felix and he did this all to frame her. He goes to attack her but Sigmund takes the blow in his little body, down for the count. Yaya and Raishin also show up before Charlotte is squished and say they have this. THE END!

Next week Raishin will make another friend and they will have a sad past so both Charlotte and Yaya can feel threatened weee!

See I told you it was going by super fast. Raishin just got to this school like three days ago and he is already in a love triangle, lost a potential friend, got caught up in some pretty messed up stuff, and had a visit from...Shouko the boobalious. A lot going on here folks.

By killing her?

First things first. Raishin and Charlotte get back from their date and automatically assume that Cannibal Candy has attacked. He or she HAVE but I am not sure why the white mist made them think that. There were a few other moments in the show this week when terms were just glossed over. Terms that might make sense. Like oh yes Cannibal Candy is this kind of robot so this and this can happen. I feel as if this show has an original source material and these terms were explained better in them. For now all we need to know Charlotte and Raishin were freaking out because they left their robots alone and now there is mist.

Run to Yaya!!!

Thankfully their fears were for naught. Or else this show would have been super short yes. It was another robot who got their special heart circuit Eve thingy ripped out. That didn't stop Raishin from freaking out or having bad dreams later. He really does care for Yaya and thought she was the one attacked. Instead it was a robot that also belonged to one of people who attacked Charlotte in episode 1. I am sensing a pattern here folks.

Woe is Felix...not really.

Charlotte might have been sensing something but upon seeing Felix she got a case of the blushy girl and ran off. To which...you know...she is a bit special. Or she should be running away. Raishin has been in the school for 5 minutes and she is already running off with him having dates and eating breakfast together. Charlotte did like Felix and Felix told Charlotte he liked her. So you run away you guilt person! I don't think Raishin is at fault though. He just showed up and things happened. Felix and his no eyes can take his act somewhere.

See the moment?

So after this super long and eventful day it is time for Raishin to get some sleep so he can prepare to catch the Cannibal Candy killer the next day. Probably saving Charlotte's life. Wrongo. First Raishin and Yaya have to have a little moment. Yaya was a good little robot and waited for Raishin in her room. Not that she would have been able to tell him that thus the worrying. Raishin was very interested in learning if Sigmund was with Yaya all night. Yaya started to get bent out of shape but Raishin quickly explained all of this was to give Charlotte an alibi. That she can't be the Cannibal Candy. Yaya was all like YAY you do care for me but then it turned into boobie talk and how Shouko has a better figure. Of course she does. All woman named Shouko do. Sleep? What is sleep? Now Yaya is all upset and threatening to drown Raishin again. You is a robot, you do know that right crazy pants?

Because dolls are people too!

Sleep was not going to come though. Shouko has arrived. Not Youko. Although now I am seeing two different spellings of Youko. What the heck? I need to pay attention folks. Or not watch silly translations. I am sure it is me though. Anyway Shouko the doll maker is here folks. With her other dolls Irori and Komurasaki. Clearly all of these dolls have different personalities and what not. Yaya seems to be the most....attached to her owner while one is more childish and the other is way more mature. Know your place as a robot. So Yaya can run around and get more special powers from Shouko that requires her outfit to be slightly undone. Our one fan service moment of the episode.

I don't think this scene could have been any more dramatic but you know....

There is no real reason for Shouko to be there. Raishin has been at school for about 3 days? Maybe less. How did she get there so fast? The Cannibal Candy problem has been going on for a while so if she was concerned about him maybe she could have solved the problem before arriving. Unless he called and told her about it. Either way her showing up was odd. Just like it was there so we could see a bit of Raishin's past. Shouko being the great doll maker and finding Raishin broken in the snow, practicing in the burnt down house with a naked doll. Because you know that wasn't dramatic enough. Poor Raishin indeed. We don't know how dolls are made or what makes Shouko the best at it. Just that she lent Raishin Yaya. Or gave her to him. Either way before the walk down memory lane could be complete Raishin runs off and Shouko thinks of happier times, like molesting Yaya in the snow as Raishin lay bleeding. I like how she slide it in that Raishin and Magnus are brothers. Like um why wouldn't he recognize him then? Of course then she slid right in she might be the reason why Raishin lost his whole family so....

Dolls that have been in production for a really long time....

Oh before I go any further clearly I was one on a major issue. This robot age has been around for quite a while. Like a LONG time. Some of these robots have been around for a long, long time. This isn't new technology. I was a little tiny bit assuming and confused. This technology has been around for a while. Sorta like in most magical shows magic has been around for a while. This show had a steam punk period and combined magic and machines. Thus we got robots of all shapes and sizes. There has been more advanced robots later, like Yaya and her nipples and there are older ones like the one at the train station. But yes. Robots have been around for a while.

Sounds like Yaya is a powerful robot. And she is allowed to just walk around free as a bird?

Why are some students allowed to have their robots around 24/7 and some are locked in a vault? Is it a size issue? Or do the owners prefer it that way? I just found the vault weird and necessary. Like it was a way for Raishin to find Lisette's body. But maybe some people want their robots to be safe so they can't be sneaked attack like Charlotte? They will never go up in rank but maybe not everyone aspires to be Wiseman? I don't know...unless it recharges them or something. Which requires the owner's mana. I don't know, the vault was weird. I don't know, maybe it will be explained later.

Yay for figuring it out Raishin!

What was explained is that Raishin was slowly putting this together. Usually the culprit in these type of shows lets on more than they should know. Lisette had said something about who the victim was when it made more sense for that to be the attacker. I mean look at the big hole in the ground. Off Raishin went to investigate and he found said dead Lisette. Why keep around a dead body? Why not have a ban doll eat it all? Or throw it away? If there was more investigating would we found the rest of the missing kids in the rest of the vaults? So hungry this ban doll.

And then Charlotte cried forever.

As Charlotte found out in a dramatic fashion Felix is the culprit. Surprise! He wasn't killing/defeating kids to punish them for hurting Charlotte. He just wanted to frame her since she was one of the strongest in the school. Typical. And he looks a little crazy. How long has Lisette been dead for? Did he have another doll before Lisette and he made her over time? Can't really get in school that way. Either way none of this is Felix's fault. I bet he even paid the other kids to attack Charlotte because he is too much of a coward himself.

We are here to save the day!

The episode ends with Raishin not being down for the count. He did get the crap beat out of him. Lisette is a robot, not a girl wearing boots so obviously he got really hurt. So did Yaya. Me thinks she did not quietly into that sweet night, being kidnapped. But since Shouko (not Youko) unlocked Yaya's powers she is super Yaya! Raishin is just....super human. His heart power keeps him alive folks. They barely made it in time to save Charlotte but given how injured he is....he did his best. And since Sigmund is quite squished me thinks Raishin is not going to have fun in episode 4. What do you think? Poor little Raishin. Suffering is him.
