Accel World episode 9:

Hello my lovely readers! I am in a better mood after the husband took me out for a day of fun and nonworking related activities. We even saw a movie on a Sunday, something I hate to normally but have done TWICE this year and both times when the movies premiered. This time it was Snow White and the Huntsmen which really should have been called Kristen Stewart’s confused face and MOG that Evil Queen is CRAZY! But apparently that title doesn’t work too well. Insane I know.

Haruyuki is having the best life ever!

But back to things that don’t involve crows and seven drunk tiny men. Accel World episode 9! 9 already? How did this happen? Spoilers for alliances forming in a game where only one person can win!!

Let me explain everything to you because I am so amazing.

Episode Summary: Takumu and his glasses wearing self are eating lunch alone on the roof top. Kuroyuki and Haruyuki show up and Takumu is way too formal with Kuroyuki while teasing her about her flattening her relationship with Haruyuki. While everyone takes a minute to not care where Chiyuri is it is time for business. Kuroyuki wants Takumu to figure out what Red King wanted with Haruyuki. Takumu claims he can’t do that and will instead tell them what would have happened if Haruyuki hadn’t figured out Red King’s identity. Yuniko would have lied and gotten Haruyuki on her side. Then she would have told him that she was really a Brain Burster and that her clan was being mean to her and stealing points. Haruyuki would have joined her red clan to help out for a while but the second he joined she would have used her King INSTANT KILL attack to end it all. Haruyuki has to be explained this instant kill technique but he is too busy crying over the poor girl in the made up story.

Just a random fact, didn't think to mention to you before.

After Kuroyuki beats Haruyuki for being stupid she says this really solves nothing and that they will meet Red King later that day. At Haruyuki’s house. Haruyuki panics and hopes he can make it to his room before the girls do so he can hide various things. But Yuniko is already there, playing one of the forbidden items which turns out to be shooting games. She also informs Kuroyuki of what I assume to be porn mags being the other forbidden items. Kuroyuki and Yuniko start yelling at each other and Haruyuki. Takumu shows up and decides to calm things down. He tells everyone to introduces themselves with their official Global Link name. Kuroyuki has changed hers to Kuroyukihime which further pisses off Yuniko. Yuniko goes on and on how she used the world’s most complicated method to find Haruyuki, costing her over 200 points. Yuniko finally says that she wants to borrow Haruyuki and his amazing wings. She explains that the Armor of Catastrophe is loose in the game and she needs his help to stop it. When Haruyuki questions what the Armor of Catastrophe is Kuroyuki says it will be easier to just direct link and show him. After everyone argues over the length of cord cables it is time experience Kuroyuki’s memories.

Um.....is Takumu the Tin Man?

Kuroyuki explains that Chrome Disaster was one of the oldest Brain Bursters that went around and destroy others without hesitation. It got so bad a group of avatars (maybe the Kings) banished Chrome Disaster but not before he said he would curse the game forever. His armor, Armor of Catastrophe, became sentient and would take over other avatars. They would go berserk and eventually the Kings would take them out. The video Kuroyuki shows the others is her and the Green king taking out the 4th Chrome Disaster (what an avatar becomes with the Armor of Catastrophe) forever. Or so she though. Yuniko says that one of her legion people has been possessed and while it pains her she needs to use her killing move on him. Only now he appears to fly with how high he can jump. Thus she needs Haruyuki. Haruyuki and Takumu are against this dangerous deal but Kuroyuki is like okay we will start tomorrow. Kuroyuki goes to leave but has a crazy attack when Yuniko announces she is staying. Kuroyuki stays too this leads to dinner shopping fun and Haruyuki thinking what he should do when the girls bathe together. They play violent video games and blast zombies. They all end up sleeping on the couch together, which Yuniko and Kuroyuki snuggling. Haruyuki looks on and thinks back to Takumu’s words, that Yuniko and all the other Kings will eventually be their enemy. THE END!

After all that bread watching I forgot that anime could be good. XD Almost turned my brain to mush. Just kidding…maybe. But yes maybe now I am in the right frame of mind to blog something other than smiles and ordering milk at bars. XD

See all that adorableness?

First off Kuroyuki is reaching crazy levels of adorable. Frustrated that Haruyuki was crying over the like Yuniko wanted to tell, pissed off that Yuniko was in Haruyuki’s house, jealous over the cable lengths and Yuniko wanting to spend the night, and finally snuggling with Yuniko on the couch. Was that sentence long enough? XD I don’t think so. Yes I want Kuroyuki to be tough and smart but people are multidimensional so anime characters should be too. Plus maybe it is fun seeing such a serious person make faces like that.

Getting upset over cord lengths is silly!

Although I don’t know if I can pick just one moment to call my favorite Kuroyuki moment. Maybe her arguing with Yuniko about the cable lengths. That would be because Kuroyuki was trying to tell Yuniko to be mature about the situation and that cable lengths don’t matter in the long run in relationships. Yet we all know that Kuroyuki got pissed when Chiyuri had a short cable with Haruyuki and hello if it is not a big deal my dear crazy why are you arguing about it now?

Lovely dovey? Where is your girlfriend?!

But Kuroyuki truly had the right to call Haruyuki stupid over the Takumu story. Which was really creepy. Like I have these tiny details about what happened and now I have put together this complicated story of what ifs that make sense. Remind me to watch Hyouka later. So much catching up to do. So while Takumu isn’t cheating anymore with the Brain Burst program he is showing the viewers maybe he didn’t need to cheat and had the ability all along. Still very impressed with his probably correct theory.

What is wrong with you?! Crazy person.

Back to Haruyuki though. WTF is wrong with him? I think I might have thought our main cast was in high school so the 11 year old Yuniko was bothering me. Now that they are in junior high it isn’t AS creepy but still gross. I have no idea why, I am sure I was 11 at one point and had crushes on people. Seems like forever ago. OKAY THEN! Haruyuki. Your friend Takumu just explained to you that Yuniko was going to instant kill you by lying to you….and you are crying over this very real scenario that you narrowly avoiding. So why are there tears coming from your eyes, like you still feel bad for Yuniko? Feeling bad for people and having compassion is important but at some point common sense needs to come into play.

NOT MY GAMES!!!!

Haruyuki worrying about girls in his house, especially his…girlfriend? was understandable. I don’t like it when people come to my house without notice. Although all my yaoi mangas are mixed in with the normal ones and I have never really worried about anyone picking those up. So while it was typical anime fashion to have porn mags (at least I think they were) be a main concern for Haruyuki it was a new twist with the OLD video games. Clearly Haruyuki would be judged for those…..for some reason. Some reason. It was amusing though.

Another scene that doesn't involve Chiyuri.

The actual meat to the of the episode was explained after the cable cord incident. Takumu was left out of this cord talk because Chiyuri has been tossed off aside to the wolves. Poor Chiyuri. Where the heck was she eating lunch if her main friends were all up on the roof without her? She is eventually going to become a Brain Burster too right? Because it would just be so sad if she is forgotten. She is in a lot of the opening sequence. And what about the ice cream?!

:( Aw one of her men. That is sorta sad.

This whole Chrome Disaster and Armor of Catastrophe business is a bit X___X. I actually might be more interested in learning about the original Chrome Disaster but since he was the defeated one and his armor/weapon the Armor of Catastrophe is the one left that might not happen. Unless of course he is still possessing the Armor of Catastrophe maybe he will be important that way. Like we must hunt down the original Chrome Disaster to see why an inanimate object has taken over multiple users over the years. Maybe Chrome Disaster will turn out to be some world class hack.

And its ugly. X___X

However it looks to me that the Armor of Catastrophe is going to be more important. More central to the plot now. How Yuniko is so sad that she is going to lose a legion member but she has to stop Chrome Disaster. It might turn out that a glitch in the system allowed the Armor of Catastrophe to take over. I might be over thinking this entire thing and it will focus more on the emotional aspect of Yuniko being upset and how Kuroyuki is going to make an alliance and remember how fun it was to play this “game” with others.

And then Yuniko takes one to the chest. The end!

Which is Hunger Games all over again yes? Not fair to compare both but I am doing it out of positivity, not judgment so maybe that is okay. But yes. Kuroyuki is pretty much against all the other Kings as they okay with the whole not killing each other bit and she isn’t. To get to the top though she might have to relying on other people. People that she will eventually have to take out forever. Now it is not totally like the Hunger Games as Yuniko really doesn’t need Kuroyuki to survive. She needs Haruyuki to fly but maybe if she had asked all the other Kings she could have accomplished her goals without using Kuroyuki. So now that I wrote this all out I guess it isn’t really like the Hunger Games since that would require both parties with the same goal of sole survival.

Still Haruyuki thought it too so maybe I shouldn’t feel too bad. Although he was the one crying over poor Yuniko and how she didn’t get a chance to stab him in the back. HMMMMM. Either way I guess Haruyuki is slowly acknowledging how sad Kuroyuki’s dream will be if it comes to past, that Yuniko won’t be able to play Brain Burst anymore and will leave all her people without a Master. I wonder if at the end of the series it will turn out the level 10 player can bring back fallen people just to tie things up nicely.

Just like an anime!

The after hour antics were slightly amusing. Haruyuki talking about how this is a scene is almost like in an anime and how he needs to maximize his life experiences by walking in on the girls. Some funny lines here and there to lighten the mood. But I am still not amused with 11 year olds and their cooking abilities. Nope this is all a lie and I do not accept it.

See very mature!

Long post is getting long so let me just say one thing before ending. I don’t think I ever thought about this before but Kuroyuki and Yuniko are technically a lot older that Haruyuki. In a sense of course. Their minds have existed outside normal time which would mean they have been…”alive” a lot longer than non Brain Bursters. Especially those who have to spend so much time leveling up and becoming Kings. I don’t know why I didn’t think about that before but now it makes sense. So while Yuniko might only be 11 on the outside she might feel older due to existing longer in another plane. So now it will be hard to look at her and just think little kid.

No one gets to know her name so don't feel too bad.

We might not have any more amazing Yuniko faces though. If Haruyuki is going to help her out and they are going up against her former Legion member things might be too sad for her to make insane faces. I shall miss those faces but I will endure folks! Endure!

Shining Hearts: Shiawase no Pan episode 8

Hello there my lovely readers. I do apologize for the lateness/randomness of all my posts lately. Work. That is all I need to say. Energy and positivity has been hard to come by lately. Maybe I will just ignore it all and focus on the fun that is blogging/snarking anime shows. Or shopping. Spending money on fun things is always positive right?

I wish my coworkers would only mess up twice a day.

Now that is everyone is all up to date in my crazy business (because that is why you come to this blog right?) it is time for more anime! I keep on blogging Shining Hearts: Shiawase no Pan because….it doesn’t require much brain power if you know what I’m saying. An easy show. Of course with all my crazy theories I am probably making it more complicated than it needs to be. In any event episode 8 of this show. Spoilers for every single person washing up on shore!!!!

Awkward? Never!

Episode Summary: Xiao-Mei comes to bakery de Rick like nothing has happened to eat her fish bread. She demonstrates some fast cat like moves when she saves three antiques plates from crashing on the ground. Neris is supposed to take the deliveries today but since there is actually more than three loaves in the basket Rick says he will help. At one point they split up and Rick goes alone to Flora’s bar. She answers the door dressed but not dressed enough. She invites Rick to make them coffee as she puts more clothes on. When Rick brings up the garlic toast Flora decides to bring up the fact Madera helped her get her (Flora’s) start in town after SHE washed up as well. Upon learning about another survivor Rick questions if she ever wonders about her forgotten past. She says she doesn’t and invites Rick to come back later. After work the three bakery girls talk about how work is SO HARD and how they need to make it easier. Rick isn’t listening and asks if he can pawn off cleaning the store on them. He decides to go to the bar to talk to Flora because….well she is just like the bakery girls, not caring about their past. Rick is pushed aside a bit by the pirate Dylan but Flora says he is harmless. The next day Kaguya actually wakes up and the doctor thinks she is going to get better.

So indecent!

Rick is still thinking how weird it is no one has their memories yet they are all happy on this island. He goes back to the bar to talk about his feelings but Flora is like I really don’t mind. Dylan offers a few words of encouragement to Rick and then starts talking about the big ship he saw before getting to the island. Rick leaves the bar and encounters Kaguya on the way back home. She is creepy and wants to see the moon. Rick helps her find the moon in the GIANT sky and asks her how she feels about having no memories. She is okay with it since strangers were at her side when she woke up. After Rick leaves Dylan makes the point to talk about the battleship again and how the island will probably be in danger. He asks Flora to come with him but she says she has something to do here and can’t leave. Dylan looks upset but understands. He sets sail despite the danger at sea. Rick makes a great show of making baking garlic bread. He then goes to Flora’s house to give it to her for free. She is touched and asks why. Rick says that his talks with Flora has helped him with his past and he also wants to thank Dylan. Well it turns out that Dylan has already left and Rick is sad. The random kid that has been picking up bread alone shows up in front of the bar. Turns out he is Flora’s kid and she woke up early just to make him lunch. AW AFFECTION! The episode ends with Xiao-Mei greeting Hank as he finally has come to her for help. THE END!!!

No. No one does. NOT ONE CARES!

I don’t know if I was half kidding when I was talking about everyone on the island being washed up on shore. I have lots of theories in my head, probably way too many for such a simple show that is based around bread. BUT MOG?! Is everyone really from somewhere else and ends up on the beach with no memories? Because hot damn folks.

Actually the first thing is Neris needed help carrying ALL OF THIS!!!!

First things first though. Kaguya has finally woken up. Well it looked like she was awake at other points but maybe she was just sleep eating. In any event despite the fact that Rick’s doubt has taken a little magic out of his bread this is still a marvelous day. We should celebrate by eating bread. Although now that I have learned that the three bakery girls have also washed ashore it makes more sense why they were so gunho about helping Kaguya. Before it felt weird but now it has a purpose so it is okay now.

And you are creepy. X__X

Kaguya was acting a little though right, especially at the end of the episode. Maybe I am just hater because her baby/sleepy voice got annoying at times. But she is still weird despite the whisper voice. I would think waking up in an unfamiliar place with strangers would be upsetting. Factor in you have no idea who YOU are and Kaguya should have been a crying mess on the ground. That maybe this calm whatever behavior the bakery girls and others have about their forgotten past comes later. After accepting they can’t change it and what not.

Kaguya is not on your team Rick.

But nope. Kaguya is calm as can be. But maybe this is not Kaguya being weird but the island actually being the place where LOST happened. You wash ashore and can’t remember who you are? Well that is just the island calming you down, removing the part of your brain that should be panicking about what has happened. Like oh who am I? never mind people like me and are giving me a job somewhere so all is okay YAY! That is just how it seems to me in any event.

Rick is desperate to talk to someone!

Rick however has not been taking his brainwashing pill or his conversation with the more enlighten Xiao-Mei has helped him see the light. Or at least opened up the curtains a bit. Like yes Rick why haven’t you thought about your past more? You were wearing armor when you were found and can wield a sword. Why haven’t you questioned what you used to do and focused instead on the magical bread? So while it is eye rolling it took Rick this long to realize all of this stuff…at least he has some clue now?

Just so silly thinking about things like that.

He actually spent most of the episode talking about his past. A dog with a bone if you will. Like hi random bar owner Flora. You are washed up too? Haha I kid. But no seriously lets talk about our feelings and how we miss our past. Wait you don’t care? I’ll talk to Kaguya about it then. Surly since it just happened to her she will…oh no she doesn’t care. Too bad Dylan, the pirate who loves garlic toast, didn’t wash up. We could talk for hours and hours……

But what about the bread?!?!?!

Do you see where I am going with this? Rick just spend most of his dialogue acting really, REALLY concerned about his lost memories. And I can’t blame him for acting insane since no one else seems to mind. Like helllllllllllllo doesn’t anyone care?! Instead people are just happy to be given jobs in the Happy Go Lucky kingdom. I am sure once Kaguya leaves the hospital official she will be given an occupation out of the Job Hat. Poor Rick finally getting things way after the fact and when he does no one else cares.

Pointless to worry about why this island makes everyone forget their past!

Lets talk about Flora for a bit. A bit forced into the plot, especially with her belonging to the EXCLUSIVE club that is washed ashore victims. I understand that she has something to do on this island, to be the neglectful mother of a bread fetching son. But that doesn’t mean one can’t wonder about their past. I mean I know you aren’t supposed to live in the past but KNOWING it is very important. She was just way too laid back for my opinion. Just there, listening to Rick but not really caring if anything was accomplished.

As he says it in passing.

I might like Dylan more if he didn’t totally ruin my battleship theory. See it is hard to be a trapped island in the middle of now where when Dylan can come and go as he pleases. Clearly he would have knowledge of an outside world with amazing technology yes? So…his exist makes me sad. :( Because Dylan can’t be only stealing from only equally as backwards as Happy Go Lucky kingdom. No no…my theory must be wrong. But something else is crazy as the palace wants to keep something from their citizens IE stuff from the bottom of the ocean. But not people apparently. People are accepted as the Island makes them forget everything.

So brave buying bread for your sleeping momma!!!

Dylan and Flora seem to have a very interesting relationship. He wants her to join him, to protect her from harm, but he didn’t offer to take her kid. Which could be her kid, their kid together, or just some random kid she adopted from the poor sad church. I just find it odd that Dylan wouldn’t mention that kid in his rescue plan. Yes the kid was supposed to be a secret as a SURPRISE at the end but come on. ___- Laziness.

Shouldn't he know that reason?

But if I were to put that aside how do I feel about Dylan and Flora? I don’t know. They seem to understand each other well. I do wonder what he protected her from before. Was he the one who originally found her? Probably not but if she knew him in her “past” life…well she wouldn’t remember. Interesting interesting. We probably could have learned more if there was less garlic bread talk.

So deep this pirate man.

What else what else. I feel like it has been forever since I watched this episode. All the bakery girls not caring about their past was rather…upsetting. Don’t you care?! I am not sure what Dylan was supposed to do other than sorta inform Rick that there was something scary on the way. Rick is making friends with all sorta of criminals isn’t he? I also like that even the bar in Happy Go Lucky kingdom is nice and friendly. Serves milk too! XD

So next week….more bread? Amazing new menus? 15 more people washing up on shore? WHO KNOWS! Oh wait Hank and Xaoi-Mei are breaking into the palace to steal back the key that activates Hank’s scary doll? I see. Well…maybe someone will wash up on shore anyway. One can hope right? Oh and I really hope Rick spends half the episode wishing to know more about his past and no one caring. XD

Shining Hearts: Shiawase no Pan episode 7

I really, really hate my job. I just erased everything I wrote about my job because it depresses me to read it and I don’t want to bring anyone else down with business they probably don’t care about. Just let it be known my job tortures me daily and I am just trying to go through the motions at work, make money, and go home.

Um.....time to turn around?

Putting aside that downer of information…anime time! Obviously this was to be posted yesterday but I was surrounded by drama. But here it is now. Shining Hearts: Shiawase no Pan episode 7! Spoilers for Rick not making the most magical bread ever!

The magical bread isn't working!!!!!

Episode Summary: Airy and Rick go to see Kaguya who is still unconscious. She doesn’t wake up with this round of delicious bread. This is because Rick has been struggling to focus on magical bread ever since he found out that Xiao-Mei is the palace thief. Rick needs to cheer up because his noncapture of Xiao0Mei has granted him a reward to fix not only their oven but spruce up the rest of the bakery. Amil is talking Hank’s ear off, asking why he only pretends to be a jerk and what his relationship is with Madera. Hank is like well since you lovely ladies washed up on shore you never knew what Madera was like before. But I won’t tell you how she has changed because that is no fun. Rick continues to mess up on his bread so Madera sends him to Xiao-Mei. She is pleasant and greets him warmly with tea as she munches on the bread. Rick finally asks her if she is the thief and why she does what she does. Xiao-Mei simply says that there are two sides to her, just like there are two sides to Rick. The bakery and the sword fight. But who is the real Rick? She says the bread maker seems to be winning. Rick leaves after some brief words, with things ending on a tense yet happy note? While working on the oven Hank thinks about how the palace guards made him give back the box he tried to hide but it is unknown if he got the contents out of the box before hand. Rick comes up and talks about how he thinks it is weird that Hank is in this profession. Hank is like wtf….and why are you a baker?

Yes Rick the Prince is up to something sneaky...dumb ass. XD

Rick goes on the beach and rethinks his sword slashing moves. Xiao-Mei appears and tells him part of the reason she steals is because she is part Robin Hood. She demonstrates her good deeds by taking him to the church and showing him how she helps the little kids. She teases Rick slightly, that maybe he has opened his eyes to some of the truth around him. She pretends to worry about what she will do now that Rick is on to her secret life. She asks Rick to join her in her next mission, as part of the reason she steals is to unlock things, just like she wants to unlock Rick. Rick arrives home and tells the girls that he obviously had some history with a sword and that he might have been wrong not to figure out his past before now. But despite whatever the past may be Rick has decided he is a bread maker right now. The girls rejoice and Madera randomly talks about how she used to be self centered but now it is her life goal to help the poor people who wash up on this island. Everyone celebrates the reopening of the store, with new menu items and seating outside. Everyone is happy! Well except maybe the pirates at sea. They happen across tons of blown up ships and the battle cruiser that did the blowing up. He is probably not happy. THE END!

Love has a tasty and it shows in the bread. Yes it does.

XO How is this series only 12 episodes long? Could it really be getting a second season? At this point it is going to have to as Kaguya, promiser of DRAMA and ACTION, is still passed out. Sometimes. So yeah folks. This hot mess…or slow broil…is going so slow for words. Too slow for words I should say. So…season two. Will I stay awake long enough to watch it?

What? You looked scary so I didn't name drop to get a discount on our first meeting? Insanity.

So. Hank. He is scary yes? And so full of answers. If you want to know more about Madera you should ask her. This is mind blowing stuff her folks! If I want to know about someone I should ask them!!! Brilliant! But apparently Madera has some sort of power over Hank as his prices got slashed Walmart style.

This job looks perfect for Hank, is everyone high?

I like how he talked to Rick though. Like why are you asking me about my line of work bread boy? At this point in his life Hank looks like he should be a rough builder. Not sure what Rick was trying to do with that comment but I laughed on how fast it got turned back on him.

I washed up on shore too!!! Am I in the club now?

Before I go any further can I just talk about how ridiculous this show is. Are the kids in this show a lie? Is everyone island born infertile and the only way to get new blood is to hope someone is washed up on shore? So the Princess and Prince of HarpLand have a special war ship that blast people out of the waters and hope the good looking people wash up so they can be citizens of Happy Go Lucky Land.

Living in FEAR!!!

Just kidding. Clearly someone else is in charge of the Warship and in an effort to keep the citizens safe or ignorant of the outside world that is why the guards/castle are so….serious about homeland security. But I am not kidding about the washed up on shore part. Who the heck HASN’T been washed up on this show? Robot girl, all the sisters (whom now I doubt are sisters), Rick, and that girl who only wakes up to feed. Anyone else? Xiao- Mei? Melty? Anyone who has a regular speaking role? This is getting a little crazy. Rick is not looking very interesting now is he?

Xiao-Mei and Rick……this show is so rated for the under 5 crowd. Oh you know my secret identity. Come in my house and we will exchange consumables because poisoning is out of the question. Has some more tea. Heck I will invite you on my next steal because that’s what friends are foooooooooooooooooooor.

STAB HIM! Go Yuno on his confused ass!

OR NOT! Xiao-Mei almost had an insane back and forth moment in regards to her personality. Almost. And when she reverted back to bread is amazing SMILE SMILE a bit of me cried inside. A tiny bit as this show isn’t that high on my list of caring. She showed a side of her that was clever, aware, and actually functional. Like maybe someone has eyes in this kingdom after all. But then she giggled and took Rick on walks and the serious moments were gone.

I would say that Rick is mysterious because he washed up on shore but.....

Although I did like that she was pointing out things to Rick. Of course a lot of that was obvious to the people with eyes but SUNSHINE blinds everyone in Happy Go Lucky Kingdom after all. Almost like she was toying with him. No be a baker, find yourself, see the truth.

How many times do we have to see these same poor kids?

Not really touched by Xiao-Mei taking Rick to the church. Maybe because they are already charitable to that organization so Xiao-Mei stealing for them doesn’t make it that interesting. Because they are already getting help by legitimate people. That and I rather Xiao-Mei just steal because her stuff got stolen. Of course that happened recently…doesn’t really explain why she was stealing before. So yes while Xiao-Mei stealing to help others lessens the MOG EVIL DOER blow…I rather her have a more solid reason behind all of this, like trying to uncover the truth behind the kingdom’s secret behavior.

Nothing since Rick obviously doesn't care? XD

In the end I don’t know if Xiao-Mei pulling at Rick’s heartstrings worked. It appears to have worked for the moment. I didn’t see him running to tell Prince of the Harp. If you steal from the rich it can be almost okay if you give some of the money to the poor orphan kids in town. Maybe the real question should be why hasn’t Xiao-Mei been caught before. I mean….someone must wonder where she gets all this treasure from. But for now Rick is not telling on Xiao-Mei because she said some obvious things about him. Open your eyes Rick!

After all this talking Rick goes back to his harem of baker girls to tell them some important news. News that makes Amil happy because she has been SO WORRIED since Rick stopped Kaguya from getting her head chopped off. SILLY RICK! But Rick assures his girls that even though he wants to know more about his past he will not pick up a sword to hurt anyone. His job now is to make magical bread obviously. He was created to make bread!

Madera and her revealing past…not so revealing it turns out. She looked out for number 1 until….what? Until she really decided it was her calling to help out the washed ashore people? Is that a recent change or one that happened years ago? I guess it doesn’t matter…maybe. Also I am not sure what selfishness means to this group of people as charging for their services might be MEAN. Happy Go Lucky kingdom needs no money! So if Madera was actually interested in making money and she changed from those horrible ways….eye rolling. Thanks Hank and Madera for this earth shattering news. How many people DO wash up on this island?!

Well I guess that will have to be answered next time. Pirates. Poor pirates. Just cruising along looking for some treasure and BAM battleship ready to blow them out of the water. Maybe this island is under the protection of a much larger and technologically advanced nation. They see this island as historically important or maybe they have some special mineral. Or maybe they are helping to increase the population to make people awash a shore. Seems to be working as Mr. Pirate makes his way to Happy Go Lucky Kingdom. Yay for new friends for Rick!
