Shining Hearts: Shiawase no Pan episode 12 FINAL EPISODE MOG THANK GOD

My husband just told me I have to get up at 7 am tomorrow. What? What is 7 am? Aren’t fun days off supposed to be carefree…not sleepy? The last time I got up at 7 am for fun was in Japan where my body was too confused to know what time it was. 7 am. What the heck is that?! 4th of July indeed.

Can we all agree that Rick has the grossest looking body armor ever?

Oh my Lord folks. It is already episode 12 of Shining Hearts: Shiawase no Pan. Spoilers for Tenchi pulling through and watching every episode!....woohoo.

So....if my town was being attacked...I would be in the basement. Not the closest I could possibly be to the death. Just saying.

Episode Summary: The first full minute of the show is devoted to Rick regetting his wings and Dylan being impressed with his flying abilities. Rick flies into the seal and sees Kaguya held up on a cross. Or a random giant stick. Rick might be more upset though that he already lost his sparkly wings. He runs to save her loveliness but random piles of goo attack him. After he finishes off the goo piles a giant Lizard men appears and won’t let Rick steal his Kaguya. Rick comments he doesn’t want Kaguya for her power and they fight. During all this the harp playing Prince talks about how this world was formed because of feelings. Everyone else in town just watches as the explosions happen around their town. Oh and the Princess uses some magical spells to protect Dylan’s ship from being blown up. Rick is nearly killed by the Lizard man but Kaguya’s necklace glows. At the same time Hank blows up his workhouse to blast the main ship. This wakes up Queen who then blasts the exact same hole only bigger. This all gives Rick enough time to stab the Lizard man and fly away with Kaguya.

Lizard people need no explanation! Accept it!

Kaguya and Rick end up on some beach. Rick is exhausted and Kaguya talks about bread. Kaguya also might have talked about how she didn’t want to ever hurt anyone again. Sometime later Kaguya is walking around the forest looking at bunnies with Queen watching her. Prince Harp is talking about how he will write a song about how amazing Rick is. Then it is about 5 whole minutes of all the minor characters in the show doing minor character stuff. The elves are eating bread, the kids at the church are eating bread, and Fiona is not eating bread because she is sad that Dylan is leaving town. The girls are passing out bread and hope Rick will return home soon. Hank is homeless and Xiao-Mei is set free to fix all the dolls in the world. Finally we get to Rick who is working with Madera to get his bread cooking skills back in tip top shape. She does a lot of talking and one would think she finally talk about the different dimensions. But she really is saying in a million words that Rick should follow down the path of making bread. The girls go to wake up Rick some time later…but he surprises them by already being awake and ready to join them in selling the bread of happiness. THE END!!!

That is how I feel after watching this show.

You know……I watched all 12 episodes of this hot mess and I am embarrassed. Embarrassed to say that I have earned that “I watched all 12 episodes of Shining Hearts” t-shirt. I wonder how much that will go for on Ebay? Or will everyone just laugh at me? I think I hear a few chuckles.

If ANYONE cares…..the elves meant nothing, what parallel dimensions, and there is a witch making ice cream in the forest? Literally NOTHING was explained. NOTHING. About 90 percent of this piece of shit anime was devoted to the damn bread. People might say DUH it’s in the title Tenchi. Well I did not heed any warnings. Warnings that this show was going to be all about bread, bread, and more bread. The oven in the cover art means something!

I started to say something important....then I went back to playing the harp.

I mean….I thought there was going to be some sort of resolution about…ANYTHING! That things were going to mean something. I guess Ms. Ice Cream witch did feel like a side quest but everything else? I thought they (concepts or people) were going to be important. But the elves just sat in the woods with their cute mascot and ate bread. Fiona the bartender with the heart of gold ate bread. Dylan the pirate…realized that the plot was never going to happen and got the hell out of dodge. Oh there are animal people walking around? WELLLLLLL who cares?!? Why are you even asking? Psht of course they have ears and tails. Why would we have to explain something so basic as animal people?

Do you see Kaguya hanging there? That is what I wish happened to the bakery girls!

And the bakery girls? Worst characters on the face of the planet. That is different than characters I hate the most. These three girls….lacked anything. Mostly a brain. Even after the revelation that they had no memories and came from a different dimension they never desired any answers. To become more. To find out what happened to them. They were more concerned about how Rick would react to anything, like their lives had no meaning if their slave left town. Couldn’t ONE girl say oh I wish I knew about my past, it scares me being an empty slate? NO! Because they are worse than one dimensional characters. I am not sure how you can be a zero dimension character but here you go everyone! Three stupid girls wearing very appropriate outfits at all times.

We need to wrap this fight up so we can have 10 minutes of characters smiling and eating bread.

Did I mention the climactic battle lasted for like 5 whole seconds? No explanation of what Kaguya was, how the jewel gets it power, or why the Princess suddenly knows damn magic. We got Hank blowing up his whole damn house to put a hole in the warship that the nondead Queen made bigger later. Like good job Hank, that was TOTALLY necessary. And the Lizard Men are just blowed up. Like peace out who need to know about you anyway!

She just looks....a few french fries short of a Happy Meal.

I guess it would be too much to wonder why Kaguya was so important to Rick. I think they spent about 5 conscious minutes together. But now that the series is over I am glad she wasn’t on my screen more. She….how to word this without being a disrespectful person. Kaguya is like a child who maybe didn’t get enough oxygen at the time of her birth and bagging groceries might be too much for her to handle as a job. She was having a conversation with Rick…by parroting everything he was saying. It was pretty disturbing to watch. Like she almost was kidnapped by Lizard Men and nearly died…but wants to eat the mushed bread in Rick’s pocket. What the hell is wrong with her?

I think the Prince was just saying random things at this point.

I thought maybe Prince o Harps was trying to say something important. Like how he formed this world to protect lost souls from other dimensions. Or that he was given that task. But then he started talking about dreams and how we all have to wake up from them at one point…but to enjoy the time we have now. THEN he starts talking about how he has to write an epic ballad about Rick’s heroic deeds. So it is hard to tell if his words were real or dreamy. Or if they meant anything at all. And why would Rick mind a ballad about how he saved the island? Instead of saying anything important the Prince just acted drunk.

I....isn't that common sense? Did that need to be said?

Then I thought OH Madera will wrap up this story, about how she knows about the different dimensions and what the island is all about. WRONG! I am pretty sure she was just talking about bread and how Rick needs to focus on making bread. All that follow your path, the island is a safe place, blah blah! MOG FOLKS! The bread! I get that Rick might not want to follow the path of a warrior, especially if he fled that lifestyle. But shoving him down another career is wrong. Why is it so important that he makes bread? WHY?! Because you need a slave?! I think I am starting to lose my mind trying to make sense of this hot mess.

So….in conclusion…Rick finds the magic in his heart again and all the girls are happy that their best worker is back. Because they are only good at not selling the bread and walking around town with baskets. They helped Rick find his way in life by making him make the best bread ever. And then the Lizard Men came back and leveled the entire Happy Go Lucky Kingdom. THE END!!!

Shining Hearts: Shiawase no Pan episode 11

Not one person at my place o employment has seen The Thing. And no I wasn’t talking about the 2011 version…because then the number would be up to one. To quote a fabulous crazy reality TV “star” Is this the world we live in?! Yes Sarah. People get kicked out of parties for eating cake bows and there are people who haven’t seen the best movie in history. Crazy I know.

Can we please fly away from this show now?

Speaking of crazy…I am still watching Shining Hearts: Shiawase no Pan. I have no idea why. But here is episode 11 anyway. Spoilers for people being really worried about Rick’s bread.

I can't help you. Way too much bread to bake.

Episode Summary: Rick and his girls watch as Queen flies Kaguya to the head war ship. They stop shooting long enough to reveal themselves…and they are lizard people. They refer to Kaguya as a different name and ask her where the hell her necklace is? Kaguya is like aren’t I enough and they answer with a no. The ship…turns into black goo and sucks her up. Queen tries for 5 seconds to save her but flies off. Rick and his girls go talk to Madera and she confesses that everyone who washes up on shore is from a different dimension. Everyone is very shocked to hear that Rick might be a warrior from another dimension. They all start to leave when Rick is summoned to the palace. So everyone goes weee! Xiao-Mei and Hank show up with their captured selves.

Maybe if she had the necklace the Lizard Men would leave faster....

The Prince explains that Kaguya is trying to save them all but since they have the necklace things will probably end badly. Plus they have all known Kaguya for mere minutes thus they need to save her. The Prince asks Rick to help rescue Kaguya. Rick refuses and the Prince brings in his old armor/sword and talks about how it is his destiny to fight and not make crappy bread. Rick goes home and finds out that he really does make crappy bread. He goes outside to see the three girls looking at Queen trying her hardest to rescue Kaguya. The girls….might give Rick some words of encouragement. Rick runs off to rescue Kaguya. He runs into the Princess and gets some magical bread to warm his heart and Kaguya’s necklace. The Princess grants Rick…magical wings so he can join Dylan in the fight. Rick flies off and starts blasting everyone with his sword. Hank and Xiao-Mei have escaped and made it back to his work house. They are busy trying to get some machine…operational. Rick makes it to the main ship where Queen….dies to protect Rick. He promises to save Kaguya and flies into some spell circle. THE END! 

Can someone explain to me why this anime was even created? Or why I am still watching this? I guess I thought things were going to get better. I should have listened when people were like LOL no this is what you see. Thankfully for the entire world it seems that this show will be only receiving one season. Probably because they are cramming all the plot in two episodes but at this point does anyone care?

Just WFT is all of this and how do they know Kaguya?

Maybe I am still a little bummed that I was wrong about the island being isolated from the rest of the world and that everything else was in the future. It is other dimensions though okay! So most of the people on island are not from said island. I can buy that. But what I am having a hard time swallowing is that there seems to be TONS of dimensions with humans as the inhabitants. But the ones attacking Happy Go Lucky Kingdom are lizard rejects from the old Thundercats. Like wft was all of that about? They couldn’t just be normal looking humans on a warship? No guess not.

Hopefully not Lizard People.

It appears that this island is to rescue those from other dimensions. That the people who wash up on shore did so in fleeing in their previous home. Like oh everything is horrible here I will go somewhere else and start a new. Of course I just said they forgot their memories on purpose but maybe that is a condition of the island. You want to bake bread here and dance in the meadow? Well you have to forget about your past as…well a nun stripper it seems.

Could we have made bread...before?!

Ms. Princess and Mr. Harp Prince are obviously in on this…plan to make the Kingdom full of happy and forgetful refugees. Now if Mr. Prince was SO HAPPY that a warrior finally crash landed on his island…why did he take away his armor and sword for so long? Why allow him to live a happy life of baking bread with barely dressed girls? Was Rick just a trump card in CASE things got bad? If so…maybe inform your trump card so he isn’t against the idea later on.

Also does it make me a really bad person to think that Kaguya should have been saluted District 12 style and be allowed to die. I mean….she did just wake up 5 hours ago and they have an entire Kingdom full of innocent people. It is sad that she was willing to sacrifice herself for others but sending tons of people to their deaths to save this new outsider doesn’t sound like a good plan. Emiya style anyway.

I totally believe Queen did this to protect the Kingdom.

I love how Queen’s actions were interpreted as protecting the Kingdom. It appears to me that she knew the Lizard Men wanted both Kaguya and the necklace. So she leave the necklace behind and thinks that the Lizard Men are going to accept Kaguya without her power? Yeah okay. Last resort for the Kingdom indeed. I mean I have no idea what she was thinking as the Kingdom was going to be destroyed without the necklace so why bother listening to Kaguya anyway?

Give us 5 second and we will escape.

So were Hank and Xiao-Mei tied up with licorice or something? They were summoned to the Rick meeting and then escaped? How? Why? And does the Prince feel knowing that his life is in danger because he has pathetic guards? Maybe the Prince should have hired Rick or something.

Your bread obviously sucks so pick up a sword and fight!

I won’t talk about the Prince and his….bread talk with Rich. Because I think it is ridiculous. Super stupid. Recipes are followed in baking. If Rick makes the bread according to the recipe it should taste the same. Thinking about the customer is not a special ingredient. I reject the theory behind this whole show thus I watched 11 episodes of them. Princey though…when is the last time he had any of Rick’s bread?

Yeah Rick. Just come back so you can make us bread.

I am not sure what all the girls were saying to Rick after his bakery fail. I thought they were going to tell Rick they would always be there for him. But then it was like we only know this Rick and we want this Rick. How about you say UM RICK we can’t make bread in the future with you if our entire Kingdom is destroyed. So please protect us okay?!

What...the hell....is this?

Rick getting magical wings and flying to rescue Kaguya….I don’t even know folks. I don’t even know. Is there a reason why the Kingdom didn’t send a ship with their own men? Dylan and Rick were the only ones running around trying to protect everyone. Even if it was in an over the top crazy way. Like wings? For real?! I couldn’t stop laughing over that magical scene and how Rick can use magic himself.

That would be Rick flying into the magical seal on the boat. Yeah folks. So amazing.

So in conclusion this show is a waste of time. And it makes me want to eat cake. Maybe Rick can fly away from this hot mess? XD

Shining Hearts: Shiawase no Pan episode 10: Time for plot?

Is it Sunday yet? XD it needs to be Sunday as my peoples have decided that will be the day we will see Brave. A Sunday afternoon, a kids movie, opening weekend? What could go wrong? Of course now I realize that adults talking rudely in a movie is way more annoying than kids being AMAZED at a movie aimed at them. So I am sure it will be fine. And if not…we shall enjoy anyway. Because it will not be a day at work WOOHOO!!!

In the face of danger...play the harp!

Anime time! I decided to catch up on all the comments that had stacked up in my inbox before posting this episode. Or I got lazy. Either way….it is time for the amazing show that is Shining Hearts: Shiawase no Pan!!! So amazing! Episode 9 is a nonstop adventure of where is Rick woohoo!!!

The Prince and Princess are so shocked at all this information!

Episode Summary: Xiao-Mei and Hank are hanging out in the dungeon. Xiao-Mei seems to blame Hank but promises to get back all her stolen treasure. Hank is focusing on how his robot doll just FLEW out of the damn workshop. Rick, being the slave he is, is making bread at the shop. But even he knows it is not turning out great. Kaguya is at the beach letting her shoes get all wet when suddenly…she is not at the beach anymore! The next day Lorna is hanging out at the bakery and decides to tell Amil that it tastes like crap. Amil tastes it too and demands to see Rick. But the other girls don’t know where Rick is! Surely he must be lost. Kaguya wakes up in a cave and sees the robot girl walking towards her. So clearly the scene cuts to the girls still talking about Rick being missing. The doctor comes by and says that Kaguya is also missing. They talk about what to do about all the random missing people. Rick is actually…at his home, the ship. Good job looking girls.

Rick is the only sensible person in this show. X___X

Suddenly Dylan the pirate returns with a busted ship and hurt crew mates. Dylan is like that huge battleship is on the way…but lets talk about it later. The Prince and Princess are told of the battleship coming to their kingdom and they go…oh. As Xiao-Mei and Hank rot in jail the robot doll and Kaguya crash right in front of them. The doll introduces herself as Queen and that she is from a parallel dimension and so is the ship coming to get Kaguya. So Queen will hide in the castle using everyone as a meat shield until she can think of a better plan. Kaguya decides that she loves this place too much and tells Queen to take her to the battleship. Before they leave Queen gives Xiao-Mei Kaguya’s necklace and cuts the bars to their cells. Flora and Rick have gotten all the men to the clinic where Dylan wants booze. The bakery girls show up to yell at Rick but learn that real danger is on the way. What shall they do?! Hank and Xiao-Mei escape the palace for 5 seconds but are caught but Lorna and the Prince. Oppies. Troops arrive at the beach ready for battle as Rick and the girls look for Kaguya. But they are not going to find her as Queen is dodging explosions trying to bring Kaguya to the ships. THE END!

No this show has sucked way longer than this morning.

HAHAHAHA! This show is so bad it is hilarious. HILARIOUS folks. Or maybe I am laughing because 10 episodes into this hot mess I am still watching. I am laughing at myself apparently.

While I know this is a show about magical bread…seriously. Rick has other things on his mind and suddenly his food doesn’t taste the same. I might have bought this distraction deal if he forgot an ingredient or didn’t measure correctly. But his not so delicious/magical bread is because of his lack of feeling. Rick’s bread tastes good only because he puts LOVE into it. Like that random episode with the ice cream witch if you don’t think of your customers when you are cooking the food will NOT taste good. So say the Lord….of this crazy show.

This tastes like Rick wanting to know about his past!

Personally I think this is a load of crap. XD The food my husband makes taste the way it does because he follows recipes and uses the same ingredients all the time. It doesn’t taste any different because he LOVES ME and is trying to make me a lovely meal. Of course I live in reality and not Happy Go Lucky Kingdom. I just think it is hilarious how much focus they put on Rick’s cooking. Like what did the girls do before he washed ashore? How about you make some bread made of love if your new slave isn’t doing a good enough job. His few months of making bread making him the best baker EVER…until he thought about his nonexistent past.

Making dough is more important than the super plot points WEEEE!

But we got no talk about the past this week. Rick has been a little annoying about that (although maybe he was trying to make up for lost time). No instead we got…”action”. Weird random action that came out of nowhere and no real foreshadowing. Well except for me guessing stupid things.

And that was it! Three whole sentences folks!

So what WAS the real mystery, about why the battleships looked really advanced? Oh because they are from a parallel world. Psht you know, because it is obvious and known to everyone. And for some reason people from parallel can travel to other worlds. But seemingly as a price as most of the inhabitant of Happy Go Lucky Kingdom can’t remember the original world they came from. I am not sure whether or not Prince of Harps and his sister KNEW this parallel world nonsense. It could go either way, if that rule about not pulling stuff from the sea was made for that reason. In any event the Prince and Princess didn’t look THAT shocked so I am thinking they knew.

I think Xiao-Mei was asking just so she could steal it later.

But this VERY important plot point? Yes it got 5 seconds of conversation. Literally someone said a few lines about the issue and the characters involved in the conversation just went…oh and kept on talking. Okay maybe there was more of a conversation and I guess when your life is in danger your mind not process these things in a way that makes sense but COME ON! This is a huge plot point. And at episode 10 we are now just being told about this? Either make the entire show about bread or give important elements the time they deserve. I mean there might be time (especially if this steamin pile of crap gets a second season) to explain this all but more of a reaction next time please! And if there is a second season they should have waited until the last episode, as a cliffhanger to give the audience a reason to watch again. Not in episode 10. X__X

I bet they won't shoot at us!

So who exactly was in charge of explaining this major piece o information? Hank’s random robot he had strung up in his work office. She had lines this week! After Hank activated her she flew away and took a stolen Kaguya to a random cave. Oh and her name is Queen. QUEEN! I am sure it stands for something. It was just odd folks.

Hank....a smart one that man...

How odd did things get? Well Queen took Kaguya to a random cave and waited for her to wake up. THEN Queen decided that she was then going to take Kaguya to the safest spot on the island. Because obviously important plot conversations can’t take place if Kaguya is unconscious. And I thought that cave was pretty safe. I mean wouldn’t people looking for other people go to populated areas? So unless Kaguya has a tracking beacon on her (and if so..super smart for giving it to Xiao-Mei if that was the item…) these invaders were still going to go towards the castle and town first. No need to move Kaguya to power up or what not. The meat shields were going to be used!

Is this a gesture of good will or a way to protect Kaguya?

But for some reason Queen needed to take Kaguya away to have this plot conversation. Because if only Kaguya knew that would be silly and no one would know what was going on. So Queen had to fly to the part of the dungeon where Hank and Xiao-Mei (two mainish characters) were to explain to Kaguya that the invaders from a parallel dimensions were after her. Only like I said before no one really cared about the parallel world part and just focused on the invaders. Kaguya quickly makes the right choice to save everyone and go towards the ships. But not before Xiao-Mei is handed the all important necklace. A weapon or homing device?

Stealing from the castle means you go to jail? I am shocked.

Xiao-Mei and Hank broke out of jail for about 15 minutes. Which is pretty stupid considering war ships are coming to attack the castle. Wouldn’t they bring a lot of their troops to the beach and keep the remaining ones guarding the walls and a few to guard the important people DEEP in the palace? Not have the royal Prince roaming around with a big chunk of the guards waiting for Hank and Xiao-Mei to escape. A few PRESSING matters were at hand. Let those small potatoes go. Also don’t bring Hank’s scooter with him when you put him in jail.

Oh did I forget to follow up about Rick and his bad tasting bread? Well our bakery girls were busy looking for him most of the episode. Seems that he made his bad batch of bread and left the store. And the girls spent most of the afternoon looking for Rick. He was hiding from them! He was at his ship. Clearly the last place these girls were going to look! That sneaky boy.

Yes lets talk about the invaders later....

Rick was hanging out at the beach thinking about his awful bread and how no one else cares about their forgotten memories. Very good hiding spot. And good thing he was hanging out there too as Dylan and his pirate ship returned at that precise moment. Thus the whole kingdom knowing about the invaders and what not. The invaders they are going to stop with soldiers holdings swords on the beach.

So there we have it. Rick and the bakery girls can’t find Kaguya because her guardian Queen is flying her TOWARDS the war ships. Said war ships that are looking for Kaguya are firing upon them but maybe they just can’t see who it is…flying in the air. And while Hank and his weapons are locked up by the suspicious Prince and Princess Rick and his girls look on at the battleship. Wondering what they should do. XO Run?! THE END!

Shining Hearts: Shiawase no Pan episode 9

Hello there my lovely readers!!! It is a super rainy day here. Usually in Florida it rains for 10 minutes and passes on. But for the past two weeks it has been raining for hours on and off all day. Just bleh. Serious case of the blehs. Delivering pizzas in the rain and being stuck inside on her days off makes Tenchi a sad little blogger.

So….I will blog! XD The power only flickered in and off a few times so I think I will be good to churn out a few episodes. Maybe. So lets see what to blog what to blog. Oh how about that amazing show Shining Hearts: Shiawase no Pan! Yes I needed a good nap. Episode 9 folks! Spoilers for the most amazing picnic ever!!!!

Yeah stop being such a slacker Lorna!!!

Episode Summary: Lorna is hanging out at the newly opened bread store talking to Neris. Neris is talking about how the girls are going to go on a picnic celebrating Kaguya getting better. Lorna seems excited with the invite. YAY FUN! That night (guess the invite was for tomorrow?) Xiao-Mei and Hank sans disguises break into the castle. Xiao-Mei doesn’t want him holding her back as he looks and acts suspicious. So naturally it is she who trips a wire and alerts the entire palace to their position. Lorna is in charge of all the palace guards for some reason and gets them into position. Too bad Xiao-Mei and Hank manages to sneak into the treasure room in the air ducts. Xiao-Mei steals back the unicorn horn and Hank finds his magical glowing rock. Lorna shows up and is like have you checked the actual treasure room? When she opens the door Hank drives off on his scooter with Xiao-Mei hanging out. They end up in an underground maze but Hank uses his mighty fist to break a hole in the wall. This releases a golem that chases Lorna and the guards out of the room. Hank punches a hole in the “ceiling” and they escape. Hank drops Xiao-Mei off and she muses that they should work together from now on.

Why would we check out the place where were protecting? CRAZY!

The next day…it is picnic time! Rick drives the girls out as they still must get ingredients for their day of fun. Lorna is still sand about being an utter failure in regards to the thieves but everyone insists Lorna shouldn’t worry about her job. They go to a magical meadow where they find all the fruit in the world. After they get done getting their food Rick helps them put the random boat in the water…and off he goes. The girls paddle to some magical waterfall where they have a fun day splashing in the water and laughing at everything everyone says. Kaguya doesn’t say much because she is too busy being amazed by clouds. They eventually eat lunch which..consists of bread. They decide to row around the island but Amil and her constantly gloomy self is sad. Rick is busy working at the bakery all by his lonesome. That night before he goes home Amil approaches him. She is still worried Rick is going to be a swordsmen and leave the bakery behind. Rick says he has the same worries but…for now he will work in the bakery. Amil is happy with this amazingly familiar answer. Later that night Xiao-Mei smirks as she sees her place being surrounded by guards. Hank is not so smirky. He takes out his magical box with the glowing stone and just as the guards enter it activates itself. The robot that he has stringed up in his workshop turns on and finally opens her eyes. Kaguya looks out the window in that general direction of the robot and appears sad. THE END!

Such a stealthy thief.

YAWN!!!!! Did anything happen in this episode? Oh yes Hank and Xiao-Mei broke into the castle and the girls had a picnic. And that took 22 minutes folks. 22 whole minutes of yawn!!!!

You are all pretty creepy though....

I am not sure if I was just assuming this or other characters said this…..but I thought the girls were sisters. Until it was revealed they washed up on shore too and have lost their memories. Apparently when I looked up to see how people’s names were spelled I neglected to see what the girl’s last names were. Well today I actually paid attention…and they have different last names. Duh right. I wonder if they just decided to pretend to be sisters or if I just made it up in my head.

But putting that aside. Now that we know Xiao-Mei is the thief there is no reason to have her wear a mask or anything. Psht protecting your identity is silly. It was nice for her to invite Hank so he can get back his portion of the treasure. Or at least the portion he wanted. But….you know…maybe Xiao-Mei could have just gotten back Hank’s little box himself. He isn’t exactly….easy to confuse with someone else. And his entire lack of disguise wasn’t helping the situation. XD

Also Hank carrying about a little scooter….yes I totally believe they were able to crawl around in the…heating ducts….of the castle. I do totally believe this. Also a very obvious sign this was Hank breaking in. Lorna is slightly special. I like how this sometimes personal maid and cook for the princess/prince is also the one in charge of the guards. That is totally how one guards the castle. Also when one is trying to guard the treasure room it is important to not enter the treasure room. No no stand outside of it and pay no attention to the noises inside it. XD

Why is there a golem in the walls of the castle? I mean it would have made more sense to have the golem in the maze to take out intruders. But that doesn’t seem to be the case here. It was actually trapped inside the walls that were meant to stay in place. Most people don’t run around smashing things with their metal fists. XD So I thought that was a little interesting. Maybe kill the golem and then build your castle?

Let me just turn this little baby on.....

I guess ONE other interesting that happened in this episode was the very end. After all that picnic drama the guards surround Xiao-Mei’s house and Hank’s workshop. Guess Hank wasn’t that hard to track down. Hank was holding his magical rock ALL DAY and chose to activate it when the guards came to arrest him. Because he waited all that time to find out what his doll did so he didn’t use it right away. So yes he activates the doll…and the episode ends with Kaguya looking all upset. Activation complete!!! Now will this doll live up to the hype or will she just be another boring nothingness that will have forgotten her memories despite the fact she is a robot. Maybe.

Oh hi person we just met. Lets go on a picnic!!!!

So the second half of the episode was…a picnic. The entire second half. There was slight scene with Lorna going boo hoo I was unable to catch the thieves but other than that it was SMILES! SO many smiles and laughs all over the place. Everything was just funny and HILARIOUS!!!! SO FUNNY! HAHAHHAHA! See I am insane now. I have lost my marbles. Ask me for seconds on rolls and I will turn my head and laugh like it is the funniest thing in the world. I WILL! So….why didn’t Rick go with the girls? He drove the cart, helped pick the food, and put the boat in the water.

Is that like driving someone to Disney and then going back to the hotel?

Then…..he went back home and did all the work by himself? How fair is that? Maybe it was a girls picnic but still. If they weren’t going to work that day Rick could have spent the day drinking milk at the bar. Or catching up with sleep in his boat. They all just LOVE Rick but he was not invited to the picnic. I see indeed.

My life is SO AMAZING!!!!

Is there anything else to say about the picnic? Funny how everyone else in town dresses in a very old, period appropriate way and all the girls with speaking parts have their tatas always hanging out. And then their swimming suits were special as well. Very modern indeed. Poor Kaguya. Guess she didn’t have time to go shopping for new clothes. That’s okay, splashing her feet in the water and looking at the amazing clouds. CLOUDS people!!!

Oh look who is worrying about Rick again. Shame since I like Neris better...

Amil was unable to enjoy the day fully. Mainly because she is a stick in the mud. Also because she was thinking about Rick leaving again even though he just got done saying he wasn’t. So after returning from the most amazing picnic EVER Rick and Amil talk. I guess Amil is good is good at sensing things because Rick is already having doubts too. I am not sure how he really ended the conversation. Like I am not sure but for now I will make bread. The same crap he said last time. But now Amil feels better because Rick confided in her. That makes her special folks. Special indeed.
