Kamisama Dolls episode 11

The second part of my day was pretty smooth and relaxing. Exactly what I needed. My husband keeps telling me I don’t need to justify the fact that I needed some time to de-stress. Take a breather and relax. And then we watched like 4 reality shows together. XD Because apparently that is all I watch folks. Anime and reality shows. I am a well-rounded person. Does the news count?

I just realized that Kamisama Dolls has 13 episodes. Of course after this episode I see they need all the episodes they can get to explain/wrap up this hot mess. But part of me is like….really? How much more of this show can I take? XD So positive I am.

WEEEE! 4 months later and I still get excited over things like this. I have BEEN there. XD

Since I missed last week for some reason (I have no reason actually, I have no idea how it happened) we are only on episode 11. Spoilers for Shiba’s boobies.

You mean before Kyouhei ran away from home he needed to tell you all his deep dark secrets?

Episode Summary: Mahiru further explains to the audience (as Aki was THERE) that the adults did not save the day. No no it was Kyouhei and his RARW face that overpowered the random god doll. Mahiru explains that she is here to get a team together and destroy the village’s old way of life. Aki is like um dude Kyouhei is in love with Shiba so good luck with that. Mahiru responds to that information by tazing Aki. Back at home Utao has made a flow cart on what the heck is going on with this show because she is confused. Shiba decides that lists are hard and suggest that Utao should get back on her big sister plan. Utao decides that involves making candy. Kyouhei returns home and explains that Koushiro has told him how awesome he is. Everyone is so jealous.

Koushiro is at his house worrying that telling Kyouhei about his own past was too soon. Kirio enters the room and is surprised to see Moyako there. Covering up “his” chest Kirio is all embarrassed as Moyako is like wtf is all this? But she doesn’t pay too much attention to that as she has a shopping trip with Shiba tomorrow. All is going well in spending too much money land until Mahiru kidnaps Shiba. Utao and her candy making self is told of the news with Kyouhei. Mahiru proceeds to molest Shiba and her nasty boobies saying she is the right choice for Kyouhei. Shiba disagrees. Mahiru appears in Shiba’s dads place (on top of Utao’s candies) and wants to go on a date with Kyouhei. Kyouhei says that will be impossible as you just kidnapped Shiba. Things don’t go well and Mahiru disappears. It takes minutes for Kyouhei to decide that Utao and he should track Mahiru down. Moyako hops along for the ride. But they better hurry as Mahiru’s random minion wants to see Shiba’s boobies close up. THE END!

This entire episode was almost all about Shiba. This post might be short folks.

You say boobs and everyone knows who you are talking about.

Actually most of the dialogue in this episode had to do with Shiba’s breasts. Some of the other female characters have ….shall we say rather impossible chests but even they recognize that Shiba’s figure is something from nightmares.

Stop drinking all that milk!!!

However poor Mahiru is under the impression that these crazy….life forms are seducing Kyouhei. I hope that is not the case as Shiba is a murderer of many nice shirts but Kyouhei is rather stupid. Anything is possible. I guess I find it funny that everyone had something to say about Shiba and it was all the same thing.

Destroying a crazy god doll is not the same as destroying an entire village.

Mahiru’s further explanation of Kyouhei was meh. I don’t like Kyouhei to begin with so seeing further evidence of his awesomeness. But even if Kyouhei is a loser in my eyes I don’t see his bravery as him slipping into darkness. I didn’t see him as violent. I saw him trying to protect his friends and maybe slightly losing his mind. I don’t see that as evidence of him being on the dark side. I do see Kyouhei has having potential to being the strongest Seki but that doesn’t necessarily mean he will use his powers for evil.

Why does everyone thinks Romeo and Juliet is the way to go?

That means Mahiru’s sad plan will not work. I do think the village needs to be torn down and started anew. But Kyouhei is a coward and does not want change. He gets that from his lazy father. I don’t think all issues can be solved with rainbows and happy thoughts. Sometimes you do need to fight back. I just don’t see Kyouhei leading the charge in this new revolution. He certainly didn’t have his best friends back so I can’t expect him to go the mile for the entire village.

Also Kyouhei is insane. Like truly insane. Mahiru is not a violent girl? How do you know that Kyouhei? YOU LEFT THE VILLAGE. Aki is being tazed as we speak. Also Shiba has just been kidnapped. How about you stop saying such stupid things and get with the program?

Oh I see. Unless Kirio is a boy. Then him holding the towel like that is weird.

So…Kirio is a girl? Interesting. Interesting indeed.

So everyone from the village is insane? Guess he doesn't remember what happened the last time someone was rapped.

Oh and we know who that random guy is now. Remember the five seconds where Kyouhei was talking on the ground to someone? No? Yeah I barely remember either. So at least he has a reason for being there. Only we still don’t know how he met up with Kuuko.

ALL THAT HARD WORK?! This is why I buy food at the store. That way if it sucks or something happens to it I personally won't be sad.

Utao and her continuing attempts to be a great big sister are special. But I would have been pissed if I took so much time and effort into making something and it got all stepped on. I think NOT folks. Just no. Do not come between me and my noms.

Why is it all about Kyouhei?!

Overall this episode was pretty disappointing. The focus should really be on the crazy people in the village. Instead their crazy offspring are busy trying to get with Kyouhei. There seems to be a real lack of focus with this show. Aki seems to be a second thought now and Shiba’s boobs seem to be the main character. Not amused folks.

But I am jealous of all the shopping Moyako got to do. One day I dream of the day when I wake up and have the desire to buy overly expensive clothes at nice shops. XD Shopping in Tokyo is a real sport. So that was the best part of the show for me. Oh and Utao getting hit by the table was pretty awesome too.

Scrapbooking Akihabara!

Hello all! I hope you are having a good day and a happy week.

But if you aren't...I hear you. Today I had to take a personal well being day. I think that is fancy talk for the past three days have been X___X and I am slightly stressed out and the idea of working with someone who makes my blood boil was not good for my stomach. So I went back to bed and got some well needed rest.

But even so I feel slightly guilty. Bleh. Despite the fact my job drives me crazy I don't want to leave anyone in the lurch. Or be out any money. But after a nap and getting some food in my stomach I decided to do something fun and that would make me feel more positive. Woohoo! It is time to scrapebook my Japan trip.

During my travels to Japan (well anywhere actually) I accumulated a lot of papers. I am a bit of a packrat and love free things in general. But now I am using my packrat skills for something positive. If you are going to hand me a free piece of paper I am going to say thank you...and look for more.

Akihabara was by far the easiest to make paper for. I have so much paper left over I have no idea what I am going to do with it all. Obviously keep in my closet for the rest of my life. I am really surprised most of it came back to America looking brand new and not bent all up.

So the hardest thing was to pick my favorite random papers to use! And place them in a way that doesn't cover up the paper. I guess that doesn't make much sense right? XD The pictures we took should be the most important thing but I am worried about the free pieces of paper that were all over Japan.

Many of these papers were advertisements for upcoming merchandise. So obviously whatever was popular at the time that was all over the place. If I had come to Japan one month later I could have walked away with so much Madoka merchandise. XD

Another big event was of course the new light novels of Haruhi. I wonder how much Japan spends on all these little pieces of paper. Some of the stuff I used was given to me based on what I bought. They try to judge your interest and give you ads for things you might also like. Bags and papers, you try to buy one thing in Japan and you walk away with 5. XD

I have absolutely no idea where I got this pamphlet. I didn't realize what it was until I got home. But it was a map of the Akihabara area. Of course I don't read Japanese but it is still pretty cool yes? That way smaller shops that are off the main road got a little attention. Although that picture might be a little off. How can you walk away with only a few tiny bags? XD

So that is what I have been doing today. Just relaxing and remembering how much fun I had in Japan. I know everyday can't be an amazing vacation day but sometimes the real world can be brutal and stressful. Hopefully the next 7 days will be just normal days. Or just some drama. I can handle some drama. But I don't want to be so fried that I can't enjoy AWA next week. XD Yay for long weekend getaways yes?

Yuri Yuri episode 12 Final Episode!

As promised by the powers that be today was interesting. And special. The rest of the week better be normal and boring. Or fun. I guess we always want fun right? I am just trying to be realistic as the rest of the week involves work so you know. YOU KNOW.

In other news I think I watch way too many reality shows. X__X I don’t know what to do. They are addictive. And let’s face it. Real shows require work. You need to remember the tiny details, they don’t show 28984 reruns, and for the most part you have to wait a long time in between series. In other words I might be lazy and addicted to seeing normal people acting like fools on TV. :( Poor regular shows. All those rich people making tons of money not being watched. I cry for them.

And then everyone was more important than Akari. THE END!

The Summer Season is slowly wrapping up. We must bid goodbye to Yuri Yuri as they all disappear like Akari in our minds and our computers. Spoilers for slumber parties!!!!

How the heck did they get on the moon?

Episode Summary: After Akari does not introduce the episode we see a clip from Mirakurun. I assume the movie. Ayano walks by and wonders why the amusement club is watching a movie after school. Kyoko explains they are having a slumber party and everyone who has ever talked on the show is invited. Nana the random teacher of explosions is watching over the disaster. Ayano agrees to get permission but she is really like WOOHOO and goes to round people up. Kyoko takes this time to hand out animal pajamas to her important friends. But she is a tomato for some reason. After some crazy talk and stomping the suits are set aside. When everyone else shows up Kyoko announces it is competition time. There are different games that must be won or people will be expelled from school. In a board game challenge Akari is the surprising winner. In the Mirakurun competition Himawari is the winner which deeply confuses Chinatsu. There is a gesture contest and Yui totally ruins it while the twins are being….special and win. The final contest has the teacher hooking Ayano and Rise up to a machine to see who explodes better. In the end there is no winner.

The girls then take turns in the bath. And by bath I mean giant metal tubes outside. Akari proceeds to roll her tube down the hill into a river and Chinatsu forgets to tell everyone else she might have died. This forces Kyoko and Ayano to have a bath together which almost kills Ayano and Chitose. Back inside everyone has dinner and it is lovely. Chinatsu remembers that Akari might have died and goes to look for her. Kyoko accidentally gives Chitose some chocolate and she turns into a kissing machine. Chizuru explains why this happens and now everyone hates grandma. Chitose runs around the room kissing everyone she can. Different reactions everywhere folks. Ayano finally ends it when she kisses Kyoko which cause Chitose to explode with blood loss. The girls all spend the night in the Tea Ceremony Club House. In the morning the girls are all brushing their teeth when Akari isn’t blown up with a bomb. They all bid farewell to her in their own special ways. THE END!

So….this last episode was on crack yes? So much crack. Very expensive to produce.

These outfits only work on tiny teenage girls. And sadly I mainly see tall adult men in them. My eyes :(

Kigurumi pajamas. I thought these were just crazy items that people only wore at anime conventions. And the random things that pop up in Facebook ads. Every day. Despite me only looking it up NOW to make sure I spelled it right. Now all day long it will be kigurumi pajamas. Sadness.

But yes folks. Kigurumi pajamas. Not for everyone though. Just the main girls. Congrads Akari. You got a set! You might be the club’s lapdog but you are in there. You have arrived. I found this moment cute although I wished we could have seen Kyoko being an ace at the crane machines. And not being a tomato.

I guess things don't have to make sense if you are a tomato.

I am confused on why the girls spent the night at school. I mean…are kids in Japan allowed to do that? We have seen that sorta of thing when it is festival time but not for a random non club related thingy thing. Because everything that happens in anime is real. Real folks. Just like Gossip Girl and….err…drawing a blank here…well insert School of Kids Dressed like Skanks. Those shows are a true representation of American schools so all animes are a true representation of Japanese schools.

But I guess it doesn’t matter why Kyoko decided to have a random sleepover. The show was ending so they all had to get together and do something amusing. And since Kyoko is the one who usually brings everyone together with her crazy ideas we should just roll with it. No questions asked.

Sorry. You lose Himawari.

The random games were….special and random. Which one was my favorite? I think it was the cosplaying Mirakurun verses Rivarun. I really didn’t know how similar Himawari was to Rivarun. But that being said I thought Chinatsu did a better job. Even if she was being a faker. Himawari was just a nervous wreck. You might be a crazy girl but you did a good job today.

Whoever blew up the best won? No idea what is going on here folks.

I guess the stupidest game was the experiment game. No one really had a chance of winning. And I really feel nothing for Teacher Nana and President Rise. You got 10 minutes in one episode and I care about you because? I rather the show just focus on the 8 girls. 8 is enough for one show. We barely got to see Himawari and Sakurako as it is. So sorry. Blowing things up does not make for interesting television.

Peace out crazy girl? Maybe we will miss you.

Akari is so hated that she rolls down a hill and nearly dies yet people don’t notice she is missing until dinner is over. That means they didn’t even set a place for her. Poor sad Akari. This also means that Chinatsu sucks as a friend and that the school has set themselves up for a lawsuit. I often build schools near cliffs and rushing rivers.

That being said…I am not seeing the appeal in being human soup. Add a few carrots and some salt and we would have several varieties of tasty junior high girl soup. They were also in dirty tin cans outside being naked with each other. I guess the being naked part doesn’t matter but everything else was X___X. It was weird folks. Especially when we got the Kyoko/Ayano special.

The girls had a ton to eat for dinner but only one box of chocolate? I would have skipped the outfits since not everyone got a set of pajamas and focused more on the noms. Maybe she ran out of pocket change and only won one box of chocolates at the crane machines. Of course I am remembering how expensive treats are in Japan so maybe that is all she could afford for real. Those tiny little ice cream cups Kyoko loves are about 230 yen each. And they are TINY. So a box of chocolates like that…probably 2000 yen and that is for the cheap crap.

But still. More chocolates. Or everyone gets a pajama set. Because I want it all.

Everyone deserves a little chocolate in their lives! Even the crazy people.

Chitose and her epic meltdown was….special. I mean I guess she had to go out with a bang and surpass Chinatsu in the creepy department. Not that it is possible. Chinatsu is creepy in a weird way. Chitose and her random kisses are pretty mild compared to Chinatsu’s dark mind.

What about MY hopes and dreams?! XO

But I guess the writers realized that there was not enough yuri in this show and had to increase the lesbian content by 100 percent. Only the kisses came across as crazy and not sexy. Unless someone besides Chitose thought this was sexy. Then I fear for them. Fear for them.

I do think Kyoko’s reaction to the situation was funny. I will stop her with my passionate kiss. XD That did absolutely nothing.

All of her innocence...broken on the ground.

But I am having a hard time picking whose reaction was the funniest. There was Akari laying on the ground obviously on death’s door. It was reminisces of Chinatsu kissing her (which…nothing came from that). All vacant and destroyed. But Chinatsu witnessing her beloved Yui being kissed by someone other than herself was pretty awesome too.

But I was expecting more from Ayano. The only thing that could save Chitose at that point was lip on lip contact. I accidentally have kissed people more passionately than that before. XD Kyoko was like hmm what? I didn’t feel that.

I love this scene. No idea why but it cracks me up. End it here!

I wish the series ended with Himawari and Sakurako returning to a blood soaked room. We get it. Akari is not amazing. But I think ending on a WTF note would have been more entertaining than the oh haha no one cares about Akari. Plus I thought it was hilarious.

Goodbye you silly girls. Wish I had this much fun in junior high.

Overall this series was just….a nice way to waste some time. Nothing of great value was added to the anime universe with this series. But it wasn’t so horrible I hate myself for watching it. It was just….okay. Life will gone without Yuri Yuri. There were some funny moments but if someone was watching for the yuri factor I am sure they walked away disappointed.

But I liked Kyoko. She did enough to make the show interesting so I am walking away….okay. Okay is the word for the day.

Nendoroid Yuki Disapperance Version stealing the spot light

What? Two nendoroid posts in a row? Does Tenchi have the lazies?

Well it more like the past 72 hours have been....let's say special. Yes special is the word to describe all the crazy in my life. And tomorrow....well more like 8 hours from now it promises to be extra special. Add in that I get to have a FUN visit at the doctors tomorrow and nothing but the bare minimum has gotten done in my life. At least the house is clean right?

No matter what I do can't seem to avoid the shiny glare off the boxes. XD

So maybe after all the crazy is done tomorrow I can catch up on anime posts. But for now I am just focusing on eating DINNER for the first time in like 3 days. So happy for food folks. I love my nendoroids but they don't make good noms. Pretty but not edible.

Before leaving Japan Yuki and Haruhi were high on my list of must buys. But I figured they were going to be hard to come by since the series is so popular.

Surprisingly all the Haruhi nendoroids were pretty reasonably priced. Actually thinking back I am pretty sure it was Haru-CHAN that was the most expensive nendoroid. Or at least the most expensive one I was willing to buy. Remember I haven't won the lottery yet.

But enough about prices. Now it is time for Yuki to shine. That was the entire point of the movie yes? Stick Haruhi off camera for a little while so Yuki and Kyon could have some alone time? XD Silly little Yuki.

Poor Yuki's face. :( So sad. She needs a hug. Her movie outfit is her wearing a coat MOG. XD But the jacket is not really a jacket. More like that is her body. You can't remove it but you can convert her back into normal school wear. Not that the jacket needs to be removable, just throwing it out there for people. It has tons of tiny little details that are cute and adorable. Too bad it is not keeping her warm. XD She needs gloves.

Yuki still looks distraught. :( She misses her really cute scarf. I am sure if Haruhi was around she would steal it. Or wrap it around Yuki's head. Because she is a crazy girl. But Yuki really needs some attention.

After much thinking Yuki has decided to Kyon join her club. Even though every single anime/manga out there tells you need at least 3 or 4 members to really have a club. That is just a small issue though. The point is that Yuki was so adorable in that scene everyone with a heart had to say AWWWWWWWW!

Not everything is sad in Yuki land. Why sometimes she can take off her glasses and really let loose. XD Everyone knows once you take off your glasses you become a different person. So happy and free. Yuki is welcoming us into her smiling world.

Apparently those happy moments lasted about 5 seconds. Where the heck is Kyon? This girl needs attention!

Well we found Kyon but is slightly armed and in a bad mood. But since he is usually in a bad mood we will just be alarmed that he is armed. Yuki seems to be saying don't go. Pay attention to the pretty girl behind you. Poor Yuki. She must endure so much. Who does Yuki see in the distance? Stay tune to find out.

Nendoroid Kyon Disapperance Version taking center stage!

Tiny pieces of plastic are a corner stone to many hobbies out there. But can one find something as cute as nendoroids? If you do....don't tell me because goodness knows I can't afford another hobby. XD

Trying to catch up on figurine posts is hard. XD I seem to be on the ball with all my anime shows this season. I don't seem to have the lazies? A good thing yes.

So shiny these nice new boxes. XD

But still I will find time to cost about expensive little pieces of plastic. Because there are always reality shows on that need half my concentration for. XD Up now is Kyon. Enjoy.

I am not going to lie. Kyon is sorta boring. XD He was very, very low on my must have Nendoroid list. In fact he might have only been on that list just so I could have a full movie set. Awkward post yes?

So why is Kyon in my house instead of another nendoroid? Because he was dirt cheap. I might have lied when I said another nendoroid was cheaper. Now that I think about it Kyon might have been the cheapest. But even if he wasn't it was too good of a deal to pass up. Surely his tiny box of barely any pieces is not worth the 65 dollars I have seen at anime conventions. Surely.

Apparently SOMEONE thought Kyon was cool enough for an awesome stand. He is not that heavy nor does he have heavy props or weird hair. So why this crazy stand?

But here is Kyon. In all his nonchalant glory. XD He is so...happy to be alive. But I guess the movie was kinda tough on his tiny little emotions.

Here is my awesome gun. No it does not look like a stapler or maybe a hot glue gun. It is a laser gun from the future!

I have absolutely no idea what this pose is. Stop this is the police? Trying to catch a baseball? Dude did I even have the hand on the correct arm?

A piece of paper? WITH WORDS?! Say it ain't so!!!

Finally a different expression. Apparently Haruhi wrote something special and Kyon is not happy with it. Kyon has a lot of pressure in making sure the world doesn't end doesn't he? XD

I feel as if we just started this post and Kyon already has a headache. I realize that I didn't explain what series Kyon came from. He is from the manga (light novel)/anime The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. This version is actually from The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya. Kyon wants to have a normal high school life but that all changes when a crazy girl named Haruhi sits behind him in class. He is forced to join a club with an alien, time traveler, and an esper. Oh and someone who is basically god in this world.

The reason Kyon looks so grumpy is because he is in the series. XD He gets put through a lot of crap and if he tries to escape it the world will end. So much pressure. Still...he is not an interesting nendoroid is he? I promise the next one will be. XD
