Sad uke is sad.
It is another bright and happy morning at the church of hot men. Except for one sad uke who is sulking while STILL WEARING CHAINS. Frau and his pals spy on Teito and worry about his well being. Teito is thinking about his bestest best friend Mikage and hopes that Mikage hasn’t gotten in trouble with the military. Cut to the military scene. The dude with the glasses (apparently his name is Hyuuga) muses that it is awfully suspicious that Teito was able to escape due to the crazy tactics often use when dealing with criminals. Ayanami is not pleased so the old dude in his harem promises to investigate. Ayanami decides that he really doesn’t care since Teito is as good as caught anyway. Back at the church of hot men Teito wants to be more helpful and carry large cases but the nuns won’t let him. Teito is not pleased with the kind words and the mermaid decides to randomly point in a direction Teito should go. Teito witnesses the three bishops doing some church thing and apparently this sparks memories in Teito. Now in his grey memory land he sees his father, the King of Raggs, GIVING Teito the Eye of Mikhael. Oh snap, he realizes that he is the Prince and he almost ended up serving in the Army that killed his father. He then decides that the entire church of hot men knows he is the Prince and that is why everyone is so nice to him.
Fuzzy past is fuzzy. XD
While Teito is being sad and pouty Frau is accused of caring too much for Teito and yaoi sparks fly from the screen. Labrador states that the flowers (or maybe his own mind) thinks that someone is coming and that person will destroy Teito’s life. Teito tries to leave the church of hot men AGAIN when TA DA Mikage appears. The amount of yaoi and rainbow hugs is almost too much for the computer screen to handle. Frau thinks something is up and decides to not be jealous over Mikage. Mikage explains that he escaped and lalala. Teito gets picked on by both Mikage and Frau while Frau and Mikage almost bond over porn. The three bishops leave the boys to rest and Labrador states that Mikage will not be the one to destroy Teito’s life. Then there is a random scene with the doll nun being puppetted around. Teito shows Mikage around and they end up in a cool little garden. Teito almost starts to question how Mikage ended up at the church of hot men but buys Mikage’s silly story. Soon the talk turns to Frau and how Teito “hates” him so much. Teito lies about how much he hates Frau, hate Frau...and hates Frau.
DO I SEE A BLUSH?!
A strange pale dude appears in the garden and acts strange and pale. Ayanami smirks and wants to see how Teito handles this situation. So strange pale dude grows Kor wings and uses word attack magic…stuff. Teito and Mikage argue on who gets to protect who and it is magical and full of boy love. Teito runs around and flies with word magic and attacks WITH CHAINS ON while this strange pale dude acts insane. Before Teito can deal any real damage POOF Frau appears and frees strange dude from the Kor’s spell. Later that night Teito and Mikage are trying to sleep and looking all sexy. Teito tells Mikage all about his past and Mikage says he always believed that Teito was special. Mikage decides to share happy memories about the fact his family probably helped destroy Teito’s. It gets REALLY yaoified with shared glances and long pauses. Mikage gets very serious and tells Teito to not seek revenge and to go towards the life. Oh and that he is his bestest friend in the whole wide world. Teito gets sad as he thinks Mikage is telling him goodbye. Elsewhere Frau and the others worry about how problems keep arising and seem to have started since Teito came to stay at the church of hot guys. THE END!

Another happy week full of bishies and everyone is accounted for. XD No one has died yet which is always a plus and there was a moment that was just blurry enough that I can justify it as a yaoi moment. So yay for me.
Teito has theories too. But mine are better.
But first things first. GET TEITO OUT OF THOSE CHAINS! Seriously people, this is episode 5. He has been at this church for 4 episodes now and what appears to be at least 5 days. In all this time they haven’t found a way to cut Teito free? It is getting comical at this point watching Teito walk around and apparently change clothing with shackles on. Then with his full blown battle scene (the one with Frau previously wasn’t as action filled) with him running and clinging to buildings like a monkey? Just….sigh. I want Teito to be free. Or those chains to be put to good yaoi bondage scenes.
Exactly.
But what I really love about the chains is that no one is talking about them. I thought that maybe Mikage would say something, even if it reminded him of the past and blah blah. I get that these awesome nuns and bishops protect all who come seeking aid but I would still be throwing a curious glance here and there. Or at least mention the fact it is a shame that Teito does have to be chained up since they lack the tools to free him. Throw me a bone people!
Enough with the silly rants, on to the conspiracy theories! Mikage just magically waltz into a church in the middle of nowhere and everything is fine and cupcakes? Well no as Teito asks how this is possible and Frau is all suspicious. And for good reason. So let me run down my little (scary) scenario that I think is happening/will happen in the future.
A theory you say?
Ayanami was last scene threatening to kill Mikage’s sister and a sparkly light fills the room. Mikage at the last minute agrees to betray his bestest best friend to save his sister. Ayanami tells Mikage to find Teito, act like he is helping out Teito, and slowly learn all his secrets. Perhaps Ayanami even knows that Teito has the The Eye of Mikhael or is somehow linked to it. When Teito learns the truth and decides that he will seek revenge against Ayanami (the person who probably has the other Eye thing) and BOOM Mikage turns out to be the bad guy all along. Teito is hurt and betrayed and the two fight out an epic duel with Teito as the winner and Mikage, in his dying breath, revealing he did it all for him. Teito mourns his loss but decides to become a Priest too and eventually Frau mends his broken heart.

Okay that is slightly dramatic. And I know that some of that isn’t possible at all (especially the end :*( ) but I still think there must be some truth behind my crazy thoughts. Or at least I will tell myself that so I can sleep at night.
Everyone knows that Mikage magically being where Teito is hiding out is too magical to be true. And chances are he is doing this for his family and that he isn’t trying to hurt Teito. I don’t see him wanting to follow Ayanami’s crazy ways. I think Mikage warning Teito about not seeking revenge was his way of telling Teito, yo you and me might have to duel if we go back. So in that regard I think Mikage does know what is going on. He wasn’t as happy as he usually is and I would expect him to be happier to see Teito.

I guess the more I think about it the more it seems that Mikage is hiding the truth from Teito. Part of me wants it to be mind control so when Teito is ultimately betrayed Teito won’t have to blame Mikage. That the bright light was some kind of mind control thing and Mikage acting funny is just a side effect. :( But bleh. I guess Mikage knows what is going on.
Oh really now?!
I am not quite sure why this bothers me so. I guess I just don’t want Teito and Mikage to end up fighting in the end when they truly care for each other. But I called it from the beginning so why should I be surprised it is heading down that road? Probably because I am special.
JUST BE SEXY INSTEAD!
MOVING ON…It was a nice surprise for Teito and Mikage to be reunited so early in the show. I am not sure where the story is going to go from now and how the rest of the 19 odd episodes play out before the big reveal but I guess that is a good thing. XD I need to be surprised and not guess everything that is going to happen!

So yes, Yay Teito and Mikage being reunited and making this a real love triangle. And just because no one was acting jealous or overly protective of Teito does not diminish my yaoi girl tendencies. I will not let the facts cloud my fantasy world! I will just cling to Frau being wary of Mikage’s magical appearance at his place and how he can’t just hand Teito over.

I am not sure what that thing was in the flower garden thingy. I guess it was a Kor and there isn’t really much to be confused about. I just thought the Lights had those kind of wings too. I thought Mikage handled the WFT moment a little too well but meh. Watch him and Teito fight over who gets to protect who. XD

so....yeah. That was this episode. XD I am not quite sure what to make of the previews of next week with Mikage wearing his uniform and all, but for now...I will think crazy threesome thoughts. I swear it's there!

This... is a fantastic summary! I found your blog while trying to figure out if we'd seen pale strange guy before, but it's clear that from now on 07 Ghost will be renamed "Church of Hot Men" whenever my wife and I are discussing what to watch ;)
