Christmas Specials...no they aren't!

Dear ABC Family,

I think Christmas is a wonderful, magical time of year and apparently you do too. I love the cards and the presents and carols. I especially love a good Christmas special and your T.V. station advertises the "25 days of Christmas". Silly me to assume that those days would actually INCLUDE a Christmas special!

Now...I may or may not like the Christmas special you SHOW that night/week but it odd and ANNOYING that you keep playing movies over and over again THAT ARE NOT CHRISTMAS SPECIALS! The following movies are not classified as Christmas Specials:

-CARS

-Harry Potter (ANY HARRY POTTER!! WHO CARES IF THERE IS SNOW IN THE MOVIE!)

-Mary Poppins

-Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

-The Cat in the Hat

-The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe (yes there is snow...but if ANYTHING it would be an Easter movie....nothing to do with Christmas AT ALL!)

-THE INCREDIBLES

Please note on Christmas you are playing THE INCREDIBLES and CARS. On Christmas....you should probably play movies that have something to do with...Christmas. If you are having trouble figuring out what movies qualify as Christmas Special, try to go with titles that contain the words Santa, Jingle, Winter, and..Christmas. There are other key words that you could use in your search but those would probably cover most that one can play on ABC Family.

Perhaps there are some legal issues involved with getting the right to play certain movies...or you just think since a movie came out NEAR Christmas one year that it makes it a Christmas movie. I am just here to let you know...it's not. And where the hell is Frosty?!

Love

Concerned viewer not experiencing enough Christmas cheer (and it's all your fault!)
