To Aru Majutsu no Index Episode 12
SAVE THE KITTENS!!
Index and Aisa are still eating all the meat at Komoe’s house. Index asks Komoe about esper powers. Komoe decides the best way to explain esper powers by butchering Schrodinger’s theory. Instead of a dead cat and some poison, it is now about chocolates and candies. The point is that espers can change the reality around them. Index finds this all very special. Meanwhile Misaka is on the bridge looking out and being stoic. She has a little flashback when she was younger and discovered her powers. She was approached by some scientists who convinced her that her power could help people regain movement in their limbs. That is why she allowed the cloning thing to take place and endure her classmate’s whispers and stares. Suddenly Touma and cat exit from the shadows. Misaka, who 5 seconds ago was asking for help, puts on a tough act and threatens to kill him. Touma says that her going up against the Accelerator is just retarded and she needs to rethink her plan. SO it turns out that those scientists were either lying or decided to run two experiments at once. The Accelerator (creepy mouth man) is also a level 5 that COULD become a level 6 if he killed Misaka 128 times. Seeing how that is impossible, they calculated that if he killed 20k sisters, he could reach level 6 that way. Misaka went around the city and tried to destroy all their research facilities but they always came back. Misaka can’t go to officials for help as they seem to have given their blessing for this experiment. So Misaka has decided the only way to stop the experiment and save the remaining clones is to find the Accelerator and let him kill her (because she isn’t strong enough to win against him and she thinks that if she is dead it proves their experiment wrong). As usual Touma thinks this plan is a bad idea and has to add his two cents in. The entire rest of the episode is spent with Misaka frying Touma and Touma getting back up, saying he does not want to fight Misaka but he doesn’t want her to go off and get hurt. Misaka gets more and more mad and she just wants him to fight her. She has convinced herself she is a villain for letting this many clones die and that her death will mean something. But really, all she wants is Touma’s help. Touma points out that she had the power to kill him by now and she is going easy because she is a good person. After a particularly big attack Misaka almost freaks out but is “relieved” to see Touma moving. She starts crying and runs off with the cat. Touma wakes up and hopes that Misaka can think of a plan that saves her sisters but does not sacrifice her own life. Then he promptly passes out again.
Touma is great at stating the obvious.
This episode had a bit of a slow pace to it. Not that there is anything wrong with it. In fact, it was quite nice to actually cover a character a little bit slower and not have the ‘real” battle scene take place in the same episode as character development and back story.
Misaka trying to act all big and bad.
I really liked that Misaka’s cloning back story was explained. Some animes won’t tell you why this VERY random thing happened and it pissed me off :) But now I can be happy. And also a little sad. :( Poor cute baby Misaka was just trying to help out some disabled people and now she has to fear for her life and the lives of all her clones. On top of that she thinks she is a villain for letting this happen. :( Why do most “good” anime characters blame themselves for all the bad in the world when all the “bad” guys make excuses?!

Did I sense that Misaka was going to have a mini melt down? Yeah, but I thought it was going to be a little bit later in the series. I suppose given the fact that she has already lost 10,000 clones you really can’t blame her for having such a guilt trip. I just thought she would get her butt kicked or would cry over Touma’s beaten body when he tried to help her out. Either way, it was nice seeing such a “tough and mean” girl show her vulnerable side. :( Shame on her parents for not protecting her better.
I really do have a question though. If Misaka is so great…why didn’t the scientists try to get Misaka to level 6 instead of the Accelerator? She seems to be slightly more controllable…or more so than whoever the Accelerator is. Sometimes you can just TELL people who are going to grow up to be psychopaths. What would be easier to control: Cute baby Misaka or psychopath scary mouth man? Maybe the next episode a scientist can explain why she wasn’t chosen to go level 6. :P That and I would not send the legendary level 5 awesome girl get killed. I would kinda keep her around.

Komoe is eleven kinds of special. But I have to admire this show for still protecting the kittens! But…using Schrodinger’s theory like that was kinda flawed and very special. I mean, I can see why she went that way to explain in and left out the dead cat part. But for someone who knows the theory, it was more of a wtf moment X_X And Aisa eating all the meat was pretty funny. :)…Why hasn’t anyone called Touma yet?

Of course Index is quite special herself..
Touma had another speech and let me tell you why your plan fails moment..and he can’t even remember that he usually does that sorta thing. :P But he was actually right this time and he made sense…so I guess it is okay. I mean, I think I am a normal person and I think this plan has major FAIL all over it. After Misaka is killed no one will be left to protect her sisters and I can see the scientists going ahead with their experiments. Wasn’t really following Misaka’s line of thinking. Hopefully next week Touma can talk her out of her plan or at least save her from being squished.
Because Touma, death makes good T.V!
But Touma does get special points for holding is arms out and letting himself get blasted. There is a difference between not fighting someone and getting your body beaten an inch from your life. I do not think it would have counted as fighting back had he defended himself. But as we know…Touma always has a special way of thinking and if he didn’t…where would the fun be?!
And what is an episode if Touma isn't horribly maimed?
Daitetsu's special ability is stealth.
Jin goes to a teacher and asks where he could get information on the shrine. The teacher is touched that Jin cares so much about learning and tracks him down a contact. Daitetsu decides to make a big scene and pull Jin aside for some ALONE time. Turns out that Daitetsu was outside trying to avoid trouble but he found Nagi’s purity stick. He is concerned that there was a problem between Nagi and Jin. Jin goes on his way to the people’s house that have information about the shrine. He then encounters the weirdest people in the world trying to shove food down his throat. Turns out they are empty nesters and need a little contact with other people. Their grandmother (mother) knows a lot about the shrine but she is sorta…you know old and losing her mind. She does mumble something about the god saving people from hanging themselves during the war. Later that night some men corner Zange and decide that they want more than a fortune from her. Well Zange decides to go mortal kombat on them all and she is safe from the psychos. Meanwhile Jin and another man were hiding and basically being useless. Anyway, Jin wants to talk to Zange about whether or not she really is a god. She states that she doesn’t really know much about herself other than the fact there are impurities in the world and she has to get rid of them to protect the earth. Jin asks her if it bothers her not knowing how she is. Zange says she does not care and she is going to be what she wants to be. Zange does little to ease Jin’s mind as she states that other spirits might be attracted to the sacred tree, not just the god. With all this information Jin thinks he figures out what Nagi is. He arrives home and there is a note from Nagi stating she is sorry she lied to Jin all this time. He spends the rest of the night just laying around and waiting for the phone to ring. He really is pathetic and sad looking. He leaves for school the next morning leaving a note of his own that he wants Nagi to stay at home and he won’t get mad.

Jin looks off in the distances while walking to school, up towards the mountain. Tsugumi tries asking Jin what is wrong with Nagi the next day but he is not in the mood to talk. He asks Takako if he can skip club activities that day. The rest of the art club decide that something sexy is going on between Nagi and Jin and are basically special ed about the entire situation. Tsugumi again asks Jin what is wrong but he just takes off. He goes on bike *in the pouring down rain* looking for Nagi at all the spots she use to hang out at. He comes home defeated and sad. Tsugumi calls to make sure Jin is okay, but he just keeps staring at the note and is pathetic. He has a little vision of Nagi laying on the ground (near a kitten) and calling out for help. Jin runs outside just to see a ticked off kitten. The next day at school Tsugumi asks AGAIN what is wrong with Jin and he confesses that Nagi might not ever come back.
Jin is surrounded by special ed people.
:( An episode without Nagi is a sad episode. I know that she hasn’t been the star of some episodes…but her presence has always been there. Without her everything is sad and depressing.
Her sister is just so distraught about this whole situation...
And her reassuring Jin was...overwhelming!
I am really happy about Jin being depressed. Yes I know that sounds horrible and I am a mean MEAN person. But Jin made a big deal about Nagi ruining his life and how his life was much better before he meet her. I just wanted him to suffer knowing how boring his life was going to be without her and regret saying those cruel things. Of course I did not expect him to take it THAT far or be that upset…but I am glad he misses Nagi.

My awesome assumption on who Nagi is….suicide victim from the war. She was depressed about her life and killed herself near that tree. She was a sad spirit roaming the Earth when she inhabited Jin’s art work. She has to make amends for her “sin” before her soul can move on. Or that is what Jin THINKS she is. I am still holding out hope that she still might be that god(ess) from the shrine. She has to be! How else can you explain the cats getting sucked into her body or her protecting Daitetsu during that storm. Nagi is a goddess. The end.

The art club tried to be the one tiny speck of comedy in the episode. It worked, but I don’t know if it went over well. The episode was kinda a downer and they made light of the situation. :( Of course the way Jin is acting their line of thinking really could be the reasonable explanation….but it is still a little bit sad. Takako is a crazy freak and if she wouldn’t well..she would be boring. I am starting to think that clubs in Japan are not really about that club. It is all just a front for hanging out with your friends and looking good to colleges at the same time. Good thing schools in the U.S. don’t do that!
They can't help but be special...
Poor poor Tsugumi. :( She is probably going to be the girl next door who has always supported the man but will never get him. In most mangas it either goes one way or the other. She either lands him at the end or she SIGHS and supports him in his new relationship with the person who had the balls to stand up for herself. Tsugumi is sorta boring at times (which I am sure Jin would love right about now) and she has that motherly let me be all concerned for you and take care of you even though we are the exact same age deal. I am never a fan of that whole scenario. I can see a friend being more of the “leader” in the group, but I don’t like the whole you are completely and utterly hopeless person without me LET ME BE YOUR MOTHER. Seriously, who wants to be with an individual who mothers you. Such a crazy way to be. Anyway Tsugumi was acting all concerned for Jin in this episode and she broke him down and got the truth out of him. But no matter what she does, nothing will make it better. What was my point again? Oh yeah poor Tsugumi.
Me thinks she is going to lose the love contest...
There really wasn’t a favorite moment of this episode for me. I mean, it would sound kind of bad picking a favorite moment from such a depressing episode. But I did like Jin going out in the rain to search for Nagi. :( He really did need to look for her and the rain just made the whole situation a little more depressing. Can’t put my finger on WHY I liked that part of the episode so much but I did.
Of course him being excited over the phone ringing was pretty sad too...
I truly hope that Nagi is not hurt on some dirty street corner. I really hope she is on some mountain side trying to find herself or hiding in a warm cosplaying café. I do not want Nagi disappearing and Jin just remembering the good times they had. I DON’T WANT THE SERIES TO END LIKE THAT! Bitter sweet my ass. That is just a cute way of saying everyone is miserable but pain is beautiful.
Do not end the series like this!

Paul and Lydia arrive at Ulysses’s place. Mr Gnome says that he is going to stay behind and guard the wall paper. Lydia and Paul follow the amber poop to the room Banshee is being held. Banshee is so happy to see Paul since she thought he was evil wolf food. Lydia takes the time to tell her that they are going back home, that they found the amber, that she wants Banshee to acknowledge Edgar as the Earl, and that she wants the Banshee to find a way to keep Edgar from dying. All this talking and NOT escaping is interrupted by the unsellie thingy/Jimmy knocking on the door. Lydia dresses up as the Banshee and goes with the wolf thingy. She is taken in front of Edgar and Ulysses. Edgar tries to sweet talk “banshee” into acknowledging him as the Earl and Ulysses gets a little bit upset. Edgar defends Banshee and gets Ulysses’s gun away from him. He then is all like so you are the SECOND Ulysses as if that makes sense. Jimmy attacks Edgar as Edgar accidentally shoots Ulysses in the shoulder. Lydia runs Edgar out of the room and throws some powder in the hallway so the Unsellie don’t see them (even though one does). Edgar realizes it is Lydia and demands to know what she is doing there. After explaining herself, Edgar is upset that Lydia risked her life like that and is less thrilled that Lydia knows about the news of his impending death. They talk about various things; Lydia wearing the ring, Paul being around, how Edgar loves Lydia, you know the typical things one talks about when IMPENDING DANGER IS AFOOT! Meanwhile Paul is trying to convince Banshee to use her powers to unlock her own memories but she doesn’t want to for some reason. Ulysses and Jimmy walk in and Ulysses is not in a very good mood and tells Jimmy to eat Paul.
On your screen making NO SENSE!
Now somehow Edgar and Lydia magically end up outside and I really don’t know why. They just do. And Edgar is very injured from the bite and is slowly losing strength. It probably doesn’t help that that all the Unsellie are surrounding them. Edgar tells Lydia to save herself and run..but Kelpie shows up. Despite Edgar being a major jerk to him, Kelpie acknowledges Edgar as the Earl and protects him. Magically Lydia and Edgar are taken back inside. Oh and Raven and Nico are walking around in sparkle land….without Ermine… even though she left with them…because the writers think we are all retarded or something. Edgar is moaning about how he wishes he did not moan someone else’s name in bed and tries to make that right. Ermine goes to see Kelpie after his little battle and says nothing useful. Banshee begs Ulysses not to kill Paul. After manhandling her a little bit and throwing the painting into the fire Ulysses realizes that the painting does have the ember in it and tells Banshee she better use her powers to activate it or Paul will be eaten. Oh but he decides to injury Paul anyway. Elsewhere Lydia and Edgar are still in the same hallway talking about nothing. Well, they are talking about how sorry Edgar is and how he wants a kiss before he dies. Lydia promises to give him once they get home safe and sound. Ermine choices that moment to come from the shadows and go FEAR NOT THE END IS NEAR!
Is it almost over yet? I can’t handle it anymore!!! Why am I putting myself through this?! Do I hate myself so much? Apparently I do.
I would like to start off by saying how wonderful and magical young love in denial really is. I mean, Lydia and Edgar had to keep talking about their “love” or lack there of…WHILE BIG GIANT WOLF DOGS ARE CHASING THEM! I am all for hashing out the romantic feelings (for the 483975th time) but that can wait when the danger is over. Not to mention that all the crap they were talking about they have already discussed 47389573 million times already! It is like Ground Hogs day or something. X_X My blog is turning into that too! I keep repeating the fact that they keep repeating! IT IS CONTAGIOUS!
Yes, this is the best time to talk about this issue.
So…why did Lydia and Edgar get transported outside…and back inside again? Did I blink and miss that explanation? I mean other than the fact it was totally useless scene…how and why did it happen? It just seemed like a very convenient way to add Kelpie to the story. Then POOF back outside. Seriously…WHY WERE THEY OUTSIDE?! And why does Lydia suck as a fairy doctor? Her little bag of powder sucked at life. Edgar is lucky to be alive after a rescue like that.
YAY FOR NOT EXPLAINING ANYTHING IN THIS SERIES!
My eyes must have had something really stuck in them with all the blinking I must have done. How else can one explain the fact that Ermine and Raven left with Nico to…wherever this place is and SOMEHOW Raven and Nico are not traveling with Ermine. She is too busy hanging out with Kelpie and then confronting Edgar and Lydia. Plot hole? Continuation problems? OR JUST PLAIN LAZYNESS! Are we viewers really not supposed to pick up on details like that? -_____- Or maybe we are just are to imagine what happened. Yes, Ermine lead Raven and Nico to land of the sparkling dust mites away from all the action. Makes perfect sense.

Lydia just sucks as a human being. She is entirely too self righteous and thinks her way of thinking is the only way. She is constantly putting down Edgar and telling others what to do. But then she is useless to do the one thing she is good at which is being a fairy doctor. I don’t know what crazy man thought up such a stupid character like Lydia but she is not relatable to women at all. That and a whole lot of talking when there should be running away is special unto itself.
Good because she still hates you.

I really can’t say much about Raven this episode since he didn’t do anything but hold Nico’s tail. Not quite sure where he is but I am sure he will arrive to save Edgar at the last second. Because that is how this anime rolls.
So very soft...
Paul fails at being sneaky. So does the Banshee but she was already a little bit slow so I can give her a pass on that. When you are hiding something from the bad guy, it helps to not glance in the hiding spot ever 5 seconds. It is slightly obvious and suspicious. Or maybe that glance was just to let us readers where the painting it hidden. Because we are all awesome little gold fishes of power.
Why is she important again?
With only one episode left (I think) there isn’t much hope that we are going to get a proper explanation on any of the lasting issues. It would be nice if the whole second, third Ulysses thing was explained but I am not holding my breath. We still have to get an explanation on why Ermine is still alive, how Edgar REALLLY is the Earl, and Edgar and Lydia still have to confess their love to one another. I don’t see any of that actually happening. I am only putting myself through the pain of watching the last episode so I can actually see how the stupid show ends and I can feel justified saying all the crap I did about the show.

Kyoko is still continuing her gig as Bo the chicken and the co hosts of the show find her funny. The director still hates her and ignores her chicken self. Kyoko doesn't let that get her down as she walks through the studio. She wonders why everyone is stopping and staring when she realizes that Ren is walking through the hallway. Suddenly Kyoko loses her mind and is all smiling and blushy thinking about Ren and how nice he is/was to her in the Bo costume. She stops smiling when she notices him staring and doing his wicked smile at her. She tries to run away but he catches up to her. Ren sorta corners her near the bathrooms and she has to confess she was thinking about what an unforgiving man he is. For some good reason Ren and his manager decide to give Kyoko a ride home. Ren almost keeps up the nice guy act and tells Kyoko she has to stand out and wear something that makes her memorable. Kyoko then decides to go to an audition all by herself. She passes two friends in the hall who are also going to the commercial (I think) and are trying to cheer each other on. Kyoko is bitter inside as Sho had taken away her chances of having a female friend all her life and now her "friend" Moko really doesn't like her. Kyoko is nearly knocked unconscious trying to reach the audition doors. Moko is there fighting with some blond hair chick (not the singer from last week like I thought). Erika (blond hair chick) is basically telling Moko she needs to give it up and just go home. Erika is then waited on hand and foot by some sexy man servants. Kyoko wonders about their relationship while trying to get Moko to acknowledge her. Moko gets a little upset and is like WE ARE RIVALS GO AWAY! Kyoko tries following Moko out after she makes a misstep in conversation. All the girls auditioning come in and wonder where the director is. Moko actually think this is a good thing as Erika is known for using her family's name and power to get roles and not talent. Well this happens anyway and the other men in charge of the commercial only focus on Erika's name. Kyoko and Moko are floored it worked while the other girls act like rabid dogs telling the men it is THEIR dream too.
What just happened?!
A scruffy looking man walks into the audition area as the girls leave feeling proud of themselves for standing up to Erika's BS. Inside...Kyoko and Moko sit defeated. They both recognize that those other girls had more passion than they did and Kyoko didn't even have a sparkling memory to tell the interviewers. Moko says that she will not be back for the second round because it is useless. That Erika girl has been ruining her life since elementary school and there is no point in auditioning if she is there. Moko says that money is going to buy this part and not true talent. The man listens on as Kyoko slaps Moko and tells her to get a grip on herself. Kyoko says that Moko has to want to be an actress for herself and not run away from Erika. Something snaps inside Moko and suddenly she is all sparkly and Super D and asking Kyoko for advice. Kyoko is all x_X and panicking but remembers Ren's advice about standing out. Kyoko decides that they have to wear THEM and Moko is like OH HELL NO! Elsewhere Ran is working on some acting deal. His co-worker apologizes for being such a screw up and promises to be better. His manager comments that it is nice that Ren is being nicer to Kyoko now. Ren takes it as he is being too easy on Kyoko and vows to not let that happen again. The next day (I think) everyone is staring at Kyoko and Moko in their outfits. Kyoko tells Moko not to worry and to focus on taking down their prey. Moko has a little bit on an attitude saying that Kyoko should not help her as they are fighting for the same spot. Kyoko tells her that it doesn't matter, that they both can work hard for the same thing and support the person who does win. Erika walks in and attempts to make fun of the duo in their outfits. Kyoko and her apprentice in glaring Moko send death auras that would frighten any villain and vow to take her down. The director (scruffy guy from earlier) has decided to make a small change in the auditions and makes the part for two people.
REJOICE! Kyoko now has an apprentice in the art of being…well Kyoko. How else can I describe it?! Vengeance! Oh dear lord I just had a Buffy moment…..vengeance demons…lovely. Okay, back to the show at hand.

I am glad that Kyoko is not delusional enough to think Moko is her friend. I mean, it is SAD that Moko treats her like dirt, but it would be sadder if she treated her like dirt and Kyoko was all LALA we are friends. Kyoko can be a down to earth person and knows all the harsh truths of reality (despite the fact she lives in crazy demon world 90 percent of the time). Kyoko is also a sad little case for never having a friend before and acts like it is some special right. :( Kyoko truly has had a sad little life.

REN! STOP BEING A JERK! Gosh when does he start acting like a normal human being? I am told the time is coming but I am beginning to doubt that now. He wasn’t even that bad…considering he is Ren. But still he is a very intimidating person and he is well aware of that and uses it to his advantage. Kyoko was starting to believe that Ren could be a good person and he corners her and badgers the truth out of her. Even when he does something nice like takes her home there is always the feeling that there must be a catch later. Perhaps what scares Kyoko the most about Ren is she knows all about his fake smiles and the front he puts onto the rest of the world. That would scare me too, knowing Doctor Jekyll.

Is there seriously no one nice in the show biz world or does Kyoko get all the awesome luck on meeting such dream boats? My view of Hollywood is now forever shattered as these people are really wicked and self centered individuals. And all this hate is over COMMERICALS!! I mean….there are some stars that appear in commercials but I never thought that was such a life or death situation before x_X. it kind of floors me it was taken so seriously. Do people really get discovered on commercials? In any event…tis very scary.

As for Erika…well the bitches just keep on coming. I guess Kyoko is only going to go up against females in this industry as they have already portrayed male stars in a bad light (Ren and Sho). Erika is the worst one so far. She doesn’t even HAVE talent and she is the type of person the drama students accused Kyoko of being. If I came from a family of money…I think I would start off with a modeling career, not commercials. And how dare Erika turn Moko’s dream into some sort of revenge plot. THAT IS KYOKO’S STORYLINE! Do not take it from her! I think that we all know Erika is not going to land the commercial….and Moko will.

Speaking of Moko…her being all sparkly and asking Kyoko for advice was both awesome and scary at the same time. I like how we got a little back story on her…even though I think being a 3rd grader and starting a blood feud then was a little bit much. It is sad that Moko has such talent and Erika is part of the reason she is so bitter about life. At least it makes more sense now on why Moko is in the LOVE ME section. Oh and I am also not delusional enough to think that Moko will be awesome and full of love towards Kyoko after the auditions. Changes do not happen overnight.
Possibly the scariest scene I have seen all week!
Kyoko really is good at telling people how to change their lives, but not in a bossy way. She knows exactly what to say and doesn’t sugar coat the truth. It is a little sad that she can’t give herself these pep talks but then again that is not how reality works. You can’t give yourself an awesome speech and change dramatically. It has to be a little more complicated than that. That and you probably already know the truth about yourself and you are too scared to admit it anyway. Regardless Kyoko despite having limited life experiences gives out great advice and that will make her someone capable of receiving love one day. I KNOW IT!

So…apparently no one in this universe has seen an aircraft because it was all MOG WHAT IS IN THE SKY!!! Anyway the pilot Noelle lands and picks up our crew…and takes off. She flies around and everyone is going MOG we have to go back down and pick up the mayor and his guards. However it is a very dangerous situation as the ground is going to start sinking at a much faster rate once it reaches a certain point. The land magically falls down straight as in not breaking apart or turning. Oh and there are a bunch more people on this hunk of land that before. Noelle flies down and Luke jumps off to help people on the craft. They barely make it in the nick of time before the land…falls into the lake of muk. Luke is outraged and wants a fon machine or something to push the land back up. He is upset since you know..he destroyed a city once before and from now on when something bad happens he has to bring that up. Everyone looks outside the windows and see the two kingdoms fighting beneath them. If the flaming fire balls weren’t bad enough Ion brings up the tiny fact that the land they are fighting on is in danger of being destroyed too! Everyone decides that stopping the fight would be a good idea. Jade, Ion, and Anise go back to Peony hottie while everyone else goes to see someone…who is a general and I can’t remember their name. Natalia stomps in to this general’s place and is like wtf dude I am still alive you need to stop this war. He says HA that is the false princess, do not listen to her and has that group all arrested and taken back to the capital.

Elsewhere Peony says he can’t order a truce…because I don’t know why. Once back at Natalia’s and Luke’s true home Tear and Guy are thrown in a jail cell. They aren’t there for long as Asch’s shadow lurks in the back ground. Some little short dude comes in and gives Natalia and Luke some poison to drink. He says they should kill themselves as she is the false princess and Luke is responsible for that fall of that place I can’t spell to save my life. Tear and Guy come in and rescue them. Natalia is like EFF THAT I am talking to my dad and finding out what is wrong. They go to the throne room and some old hag claims that the Queen’s baby died at birth and she was switched with old hag’s daughter’s baby. That means that Natalia’s father, Mr. King, no longer lovers her and she has to die for helping Luke destroy that place. Luke becomes the voice of reason and is like DUDE you raised her as your daughter all these years and you are just going to throw her away. Mohs is like HAHA Dist and Largo, come kill these traitors. It becomes a real traitor convention when Asch shows up to stall while the group runs away. The group gets further aid when those pirate people from earlier (like a circus pirate group) gets the whole town to fight the guards so Natalia and gang leave. The wtf episode ends with the townspeople cheering as they run out of town.
Wow….just wow. I am quite sure I lost 3 I.Q. points watching that hot mess. And while Anise is not a dude like I sarcastically suggested, it got pretty dang close to WTFNESS. I was laughing my butt of the entire episode but probably for very inappropriate reasons.

Let's start with Natalia since I hate her guts. Not that she really deserved what happened to her...but it was still funnier than hell. It is only funny due to my outrageous claims that everyone was going to have a dramatic back story...although I was really hoping Anise was a dude. In any event..Natalia no longer gets to run around and talk for her country as she is not deemed the fake princess. Well, I am sure she still will but it will be a few episodes until she gets her confidence back. Now she and Luke can mope around together feeling sorry for themselves. Oh and now she is more worthy of Luke that she too is a fake.

No matter how amusing Natalia's situation is, the entire premise and plot behind it is utterly retarded. Oh we have to kill the princess now because it turns out she is not really the princess. I love how Mohs was calling Natalia by her "real" name as if she was really going to respond to it. I also love how her father was so stupid he was just going to let her die because of rumors. Not to mention that even if Natalia was really a fake, Luke is STILL his nephew (unless someone told him otherwise....) so why Mr Uncle so ready to kill him too? I mean, why are they picking which rumors to believe? They thought the Natalia rumor of her being alive was false so why believe that Luke destroyed that whole city? Also before you run around and kill your family members, shouldn't you investigate WHY these things happened? Taking advice from shady looking men is...shady.

Seriously I cannot wrap my head around the sheer stupidity of this plot line. It makes no sense what so ever. The more I try to blog about it the more my head wants to explode into 15 million pieces. Real daughter or not I can't see a loving father willing to kill his child. Not to mention what WONDERFUL TIMING this "secret" was revealed. Also why was "Nanny" a.k.a real grandmother willing to reveal this information NOW and let her granddaughter be killed? I might as well stop before I really lose my mind.

I actually really loved the whole MOG airship scene. I love in these kinds of games with magic and seemingly advanced technology everyone is still in AWE of things flying in the air. It just makes me feel all kinds of special inside.

I also found it very special that the aircraft picked up our heroes...who were safe from being squished, flew WAY UP IN THE SKY, and THEN went back down to pick up the people were in danger. Had I been on that crumbling piece of land I would have been screaming WTF come save me now! Also I thoroughly enjoyed how last week only the mayor of collapse town and his soldiers were on the sinking land and this week there were regular citizens. Don't they know how to run away?

I enjoyed Asch running in from who knows where and saving the day (although everyone sitting there and talking IN FRONT OF THE ENEMY was really special). No explanation on where he was or how he knew everyone was in danger..just HI I am here to save you because who the hell knows what side I am on anymore.

I wasn't really understanding why Peony was unable to call a truce. I guess he was afraid of withdrawing his troops and the enemy chasing his troops across the field. Either way I thought the battle scene was pretty special with the running at enemy. Very Revolutionary War style.
But who cares, he is a little hottie.
There was just too much happening in this episode for it to make any sense. Too many places, battles, people, B.S. Noelle didn’t even get a paragraph worth of lines and everyone seems to know everyone as Dist and Largo were just randomly sitting at the palace. The group just HAPPENS to fly over a fight and traveling back home takes days (or even one day). I am sure many of these problems stems from the anime not translating well from the game. That or everyone is just retarded like I think they are. So…next week Anise will be a boy and every single bad guy is a twin or clone of someone else FOR THE WIN!

Why does every episode seem to end like this?

Kaname is walking through the town talking to himself. He is talking about how all reigns must end and he doesn’t want Yuki to experience the ugliness in this world. There is a scene of a long hair Kaname (possibly the person Kaname use to be) and a cute scene with baby Yuki and Kaname. Yuki is all running through the forest convincing herself she has to fight all these vampires. She tries to attack some level E’s but can’t touch her weapon. The Night Class (minus Kaname, Rima, and Shiki) protect her and try to convince her not to put herself in harm’s way. They try explaining to her that Rido wants HER and sorta giving herself to him would be a bad idea. Regardless Yuki wants to fight so they follow her anyway. They run off to protect Yagari who was up against one too many vampires. Apparently Cross-dressing dude let out all the level E vampires and they are making their up the steps of the school. Suddenly Headmaster hottie appears and there is a brief moment between father and daughter. Then he collapses the arch way to protect them all from the E vampires and he alone has to deal with them. Meanwhile Kaname is still talking to himself about things he must do and how he has to protect Yuki. He makes it to the Senate building and starts turning everyone into fireworks with his powers. The cross dressing dude is falling apart and asks Ichijo for blood. Ichijo’s rewards him with death instead. Kaname is in the building destroy people and the structure. He goes to destroy Ichijo next but he escapes out a secret passageway. Kaname goes to chase him but Takuma (it was so much easier using last names :( ) tells Kaname that he has to prove his friendship and to let HIM go after his grandfather. He does so and it appears Takuma kills him. The building also collapses in wonderful ways.

The night class makes their way up to the roof passing vampires lying all over the place in various states of almost deadness. They reach the top where there is a slight vampire orgy going on and Rido being all evilfied. He freezes the Night class and makes the Level E vampires suck on them or attack them. Rido then gets a hold of Yuki and tries to suck her blood. Yuki somehow manages to use her anti vampire weapon (actually hold it in her hand) and turns it into a scythe and cuts Rido a little bit. She also orders all the vampires to leave the night class alone. Her victory is short lived when Rido captures her again with his blood vein things…Aido is the most active trying to protect Yuki but he fails. Suddenly Rido is shot in the shoulder and Zero is up the stairs. He is not looking too good. His arm starts morphing into some crazy thing and he nearly destroys the roof with his power (injuring the night class and flinging the level E’s off the building entirely). He begs Yuki to use her weapon on him and she is very NOOOish. Zero explains that if she uses it he won’t die because he has a promise he has to fulfill. So she swings Artemis at Zero and hacks him up a little bit but his arm stops turning into that gross whatever. Then it appears and Zero and his brother really combine into one person and that he is going to live. Rido who was just standing around being retarded and not attacking while this was all happening, is now saying he is going to kill everyone because he is so awesome. Zero picks up his special gun and a HUGE light emanates from it and everyone including Kaname and Headmaster look on in awe as the final showdown is about to happen.
Has half this series taken place in the span of an hour? Seriously has it? Well when I watch the episodes it seems to go on much longer than that….but the end is nearly upon us so I will rejoice.

What to say what to say about this special little episode…um..nothing much really happened I guess. Well at the school anyway. Kaname destroying the Senate was kind of big but….special. If he had this awesome turning people into fireworks power all along why did he not do it…THEN?! Why wait all these years and put Yuki in danger? Wasn’t the council the ones that brought Rido back to life? HELLO! If there was no senate council whatever NO ONE WOULD HAVE REVIVED HIM! Am I the only one thinking logically here? I can’t be that smart…

If Kaname had such an awesome power to begin with I don’t understand why he didn’t zap Takuma’s granddad a lot sooner. Or anyone else who came near Yuki. Also….I enjoy how we are not going to get an explanation on how awesome their powers all are. They just ARE! Do not ask any questions and please pay no attention to the man behind the curtain!

Aido is STILL ALIVE! Can we rejoice for just a minute? He is still alive even after he was going up against Rido and trying his hardest to protect Yuki. I have great hopes now that he is going to live. Actually it seems like everyone is going to live, even Takuma. X_X Whatever as long as Aido gets to live I shall be happy and will do the little happy dance all the way home. That and he is a sexy little fighter.

Just how big was that arch way?! X_X I have never seen a bigger pile of rumble in my life from such a seemingly small structure. I think…it might have been more effective to destroy the arch way with you know…you on the inside of it and not on the outside with the baddies. But hottie Headmaster has to protect everyone! That is his sworn duty and he looks pretty fine while doing it. I thought maybe he was going to die…seeing how many monsters he was up against. But clearly this is going to end much…lighter than I thought.

WHAT THE HELL WAS IN ZERO’S ARM?! I understand he is getting taken over by…whatever is in his body. WHAT THE HELL IS IN HIS BODY?! Isn’t he a level E with his brother’s blood in him? I don’t see Yuki and Kaname running around with huge creepy arms. Is this going to get an explanation or are we going to pretend it away too? Unless the combination of three pure bloods, a crazy brother, and a partridge in a pear tree=evil crazy arm of power. This is just one more thing on the list of Zero is having the worst life ever tour.

I was almost going to ask why Yuki’s weapon didn’t hurt Zero. But then I remembered that Yuki is a vampire and she is running around and wielding the weapon. That Rido has been shoot and hurt by Yuki and Zero and is still running around. Clearly only vampires die when they have their blooded sucked or they are thrown into walls. Because that makes perfect sense. Yuki’s weapon must have just killed whatever was trying to ooze itself out of Zero’s arm. See I figured it out for myself! I SO SMART :)

I think the best part of the show was Kaname not being at the academy. He has set all this up for years and is just going to walk away and hope the cards fall right where he wants them. They seem to have done so, but not because of his perfect planning. If I had masterminded some event for YEARS I would want to stick around and make sure all goes according to plan. Also I enjoyed how close the Senate was to the actual school. That explains why there are 4839025775 E vampires running around.
But why should he worry when vampires can be killed so easily?!
So with the death count rather low (well, for characters who actually have names) I wonder if it is going to be kicked up a notch for the season finale. DID I SAY FINALE!? Oh rejoice to the glorious God in heaven for there is an ending to this overrated show!!!! Zero will save Rido, Yuki will magically turn back into a human, and the series will end with either Zero dead or Yuki unable to pick which emo guy she wants more. I tend to think she will pick Zero if he lives as Kaname sorta used her all her life. DID I MENTION IT WAS GOING TO END SOON?! I am just so very VERY happy about this! What shall the crazy fangirls do without emo vampires to swoon over?! How sad.

So our little Ceil has gotten a hold of a special camera. This camera will take your picture and insert an image of something you treasure the most into said picture. He takes a picture of Finny and a tiny bird shows up next to him. Finny has a little flashback of him dancing round naked with his beloved bird…until he pet the small creature and it died. X_X Yes the camera takes pictures of something you treasure that is no longer in this world. Ceil wants the retard trio to take Sebastian’s picture no matter what. So they set to work trying to get Sebastian to stand still for 10 seconds to take the picture. Ceil plays with some soldiers and a black sheep that illustrate what is happening in the show. The trip isn’t really doing a very good job as Sebastian is mighty fast…and knows what is going on. Their plans keep getting foiled and it is sad. Sebastian confronts the retard trio and tells them a very important guest is coming over to the house today. It is their job to take Pluto away from the mansion as to not scare their visitor. Finny tries using his super strength to drag the dog away but it turns out that Pluto has some fire breathing skills and it fails. Sebastian takes Ceil his dinner and sees the little sheep that is supposed to represent him and smiles. Later Sebastian goes outside and is not pleased that Pluto is still sitting on the lawn. A random cat walks by and Sebastian pays attention to the little kitty. This makes Pluto very jealous and he slips into naked human mode to get some attention.

Ceil is looking over the photos the retard trio has taken and he is NOT pleased. Lau walks in and vows that he will be the one to complete this task or he will leave the country in shame. He then asks what the task actually is. A man from a newspaper or magazine arrives and Sebastian is showing him to the meeting room. Lau’s doll girlfriend is sitting on the stair banister acting slutty and showing off the goods. The visitor stops and stares but Sebastian just keeps on going. Ceil is not pleased. During the meeting Tanaka is supposed to be in charge but he can’t hold his “big form” and reverts back into a little person. The interview is in shock but Sebastian busts out with all these awesome facts and plans for the company. He goes on in a very epic way and leaves the interviewer stunned. The interviewer tries to take Sebastian’s picture but he declines. After being fed dog treats Ceil tries to act nonchalant about the whole picture taking incident. Later that night Ceil makes Finny throw a giant statue at his head. Right before he is smushed Sebastian arrives to save Ceil and yaoi images occur! Lau has also rigged out some little lights to brighten the area. Sebastian then teases Ceil about how he should have just asked to take his picture instead of all this crazyness. The retard trio is almost done developing the picture when Pluto comes in and fireballs them all. Sebastian then rewards Pluto with a treat for doing so. Sebastian goes to fetch Ceil for bed but sees the young master is sleeping next to the camera….The next morning the retard trio are X_X that there is a picture of Ceil and Sebastian together! Meaning that Sebastian is Ceil’s most important person. Finny is actually pretty smart and thinks…but I thought only dead things could appear in the picture. However Pluto is running around fireballing everyone so he doesn’t think much about it. And Sebastian has great fun teasing Ceil about who he is special person is.

YAY!!! I am so happy this series got picked back up by subbers or the issue got solved. Whatever the issue was..I am glad it is over! It actually seems a lot longer than 3 weeks since I have seen this series. Maybe it was 4? :O Whatever ness.

I thought that this episode was going to focus more on Pluto due to the previews (from what I remembered) but that’s okay. It felt more natural that Pluto just got taken is as one of the freaks. It might have been too much to just focus on his adjustments to live at the mansion. That and I don’t see Ceil or Sebastian trying to train Pluto. It makes more sense that he just runs around and gets naked at random moments of the day.
But at least he was not forgotten!
Ceil was absolutely adorable in this episode. Sure he was trying to be sneaky and he failed..but he was so cute just being a normal 12 year old. Just pay no attention to the creepy occult like camera in the background! He was SO cute trying to find out about Sebastian! Such determination and no one died! A cutie episode that had nothing to do with demon dogs, evil Aunts, or ugly butlers. I really wonder if Sebastian really is his most important person or Sebastian just got in the picture to mess with his mind. Either way Ceil was all blushy and denying it at the end which makes me think it was true.

YAOI ALERT ALL OVE THE PLACE! Even Ceil realized how much yaoi was happening around him (to him). There was no reason for Sebastian to cradle Ceil like other than for me to think yaoi thoughts in my head. Sexy angel wings leaning all over him YUM! The lights, the music, and the romantic black and white “movie like” scene. What more can a yaoi girl ask for? I especially like how Sebastian just kept talking while basically laying all over him. And that suggestive talking afterwards…like we are supposed to think that “it” was a picture. Riiiiiiiiiight.

Finny makes me go WTF every single time I see him. I wasn’t even going to question why he was dancing around naked with a pet bird. I was going to let that slide. But his happy memory of a pet that he touched once and died. X_X Seriously what is wrong with this child? Are the maid and the cook just as special as Finny and have bizarre talents? And does he think that he is not hurting Pluto by throwing him all over the place? Well his little clips in his hair are cute and I am glad he is over that crazy Angela lady. He needs to find a nice squishy girl to settle down with.

Lau (or at least I still think his name is Lau. It could be Mau for all I know) was very special this week. I actually thought he would kind of disappear into the background as he is doing sorta illegal stuff and Ceil threaten him last time he saw him. But apparently he can just waltz into Ceil’s house and make himself right at home! But in any event he was pretty special. I like how he had no idea what was going on but made some epic B.S. speech about how he was going to help Ceil no matter what. Promises made without even knowing the conditions are always the best ones. And I like how he used his random girlfriend as a ho. Doesn’t he KNOW who Sebastian loves?!

Not only is Sebastian one hell of a butler, but he appears to be running the business as well. Or at least has working knowledge of the business. I am not sure why useless man is running it seeing how his “adult form” has an expiration date on it but whatever. It was still amusing to see Sebastian describe the company in such a flashy and fast way. MMM spaceships for the win!

So while this episode might have been a little bit filler…it really doesn’t matter to me. Granted I don’t even know if it was a filler since I am not aware of the actual plot that is going on. Oh, that business about avenging his father. Well, if this series is 24 episodes long there is plenty of time for that. :) Just bring on the yaoi and cute little Ceil please! Next week looks like it will be cute too with the ice skating scene. :) Well, not next week as the episode is up and subbed already.
