Tales of the Abyss Episode 19
I don’t think I can properly make a summary for this episode. I am that pissed. And for once it’s not with the writers/creators for creating a stupid ass story. Well….not entirely.
THEY EFFING KILLED ION! I hope everyone dies in a fire for killing the nicest and most innocent person in the entire series. Was it really a shock for me? No….but that doesn’t mean I have to be happy about it. I am downright miserable and pissed off. It could have been so avoid…well most deaths in anime are senseless anyway but STILL!!!!
And it was all Anise’s fault. I have been saying from day effing one she was a bitch and useless and needed to die. And what does she go and do….she gets Ion killed. Because she is a loser and an asshole. I hate her and I hope she dies. Hurry, find a ledge! That is how people like to take themselves out in this series.
It so could have been avoided. After Mohs was captured and taken care of she could have told SOMEONE in this group what was going on. But she didn’t because she is a stupid little bitch. -_- I could care less if her parents were in danger or not. Her stupid lies cost a lot of people their lives. She was with a group of people who could have saved her from her “fate” but she decided to be a dumb ass about it.
And I am pissed off at Jade too. He did that little I KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON face. That and Jade knows everything. He should have known about Anise’s stupid problem and stopped it. He has his nose in everything else so why can’t he know about the
most important thing!!!!
My…my poor little Ion. He knows that Anise is a bitch ass ho that sold him out and yet he forgives her in the end. :( See what a kind soul he is and what a demon Anise is? And with his dying words he tells Luke that he is the one who is going to save the world. Oh and he saves Tear! The kid is DYING and he does more good in those 2 dying minutes than Anise has done her entire life.
Mohs is such a loser. He had a spy the entire time in the group and he still failed that hard. I am not sure why he wasn’t executed for his crimes…that would have SAVED Ion too…but this show isn’t about making sense. It is about making me miserable apparently. And they have succeeded. Mohs sucks as a main bad guy.
I am glad that Luke had no words of encouragement for Anise at the end…because she didn’t deserve any. Usually Luke is the one who likes to forgive everyone for their crimes…but he even knows that Anise was a dumb ass bitch. At the beginning of the series Mohs didn’t even HAVE her parents; she just followed him because she thought she OWED him. Right, because the few thousands of dollars they were in debt almost cost the world….well the world.
Moving on from my hatred towards the dumbass bitch…this show was still pretty special. We were given a lot of facts that we hadn’t previously know. And they were said in passing like OH how is that medicine Tear and stuff like that. Just cram in all those facts so we can kill Ion a little bit faster.
This series lost another hottie. Please all mourn the loss of Frings now. All my hopes and dreams of a yaoi couple with him and Emperor Hottie are smashed on the floor. Although we didn’t get to see much of him within this series…he is still a lovely person and a hottie. :( He only lived long enough to become a plot device and for everyone to be sadder that he died.
He didn’t stay dead for very long however. He got replicated pretty fast. I am not sure who was behind this whole let’s replicate an army but they fail hard core. Those old people lasted 5 seconds in battle last time. I know they were clones for emotional reasons…but not a very strong army there.
I wasn’t really following the score as closely as I should have but from what I gather Jade’s country is going to conquer Luke’s and they are going to be infected with a plague. The only way to stop this plague is to have Luke use his awesome power of awesomeness. Ion said Luke had many paths before him because…he is a replica after all. I am not sure why anyone would want this score to come to pass as plagues have a nasty habit of spreading…but what do I know?
OH!!!!!! I know that Ion is dead. That hill scene at the end of the opening theme song is a LIE! I have been lied to all this time and I am greatly upset! -_______- I am sure other things happened in this episode…but that’s all I can remember. Anise is an assface who needs to die THE END!
KuroShitsuji - Episode 17
My eyes….my eyes cannot unseen what they have seen…and heard….and possibly even smelled. X_X If I thought last week was dirty…that was nothing compared to this week.
The episode opens up with the Undertaker being all weird over the corpses. He opens another coffin up…and Grell is in there being a freak. Back where people are depressed Ceil is unhappy with his schedule for the day. He doesn’t want to dance and Sebastian wants to watch him fail. They are interrupted by the Queen’s butler. He is busy having an orgasm over tea. Sebastian explains that any time they have gotten a message from the Queen Ash was sent to deliver it. Ceil is all X_X thanks for telling me. Ash has come to tell Ceil about a cult that has come up in some remote area. Ash seems to think they have Book of Doomsday or something. It has something to do with people’s last minutes of life and all their sins. The Queen wants Cecil to investigate it. Ash tries pulling off the ditsy role…but Pluto instantly recognizes Ash and is all happy. Ceil and Sebastian end up going to the Undertaker as this cult is doing something creepy with dead bodies. They find Grell there too (people thought Grell was dead when he was really just sleeping in the grass). The Undertaker says that he has been taking bodies to these creepy people and Grell confirms that the Book of Doomsday has been stolen. The Undertaker agrees to sneak them into the cult…but the cult let’s them come right on it…They meet some lovely people who think they are Unclean. The little kids are especially cute and creepy. They meet up with a nun whom Sebastian decides is mentally vulnerable and they can squeeze some answers out of her.
And by squeeze I mean Sebastian sexes the dirty nun up while Ceil and Grell listen. X_X Sebastian whispers words of encouragement like YOU SMELL and other fun stuff. After that sex session the nun tells some stuff about the cult, like how the priest can hear the future/past whatever from the SCREAMS OF RAPPED BOYS! Then the priest can purify the dirty past. Grell kidnaps a boy so he can put on a uniform and be helpful. Sebastian decides no and that Ceil will meet with the priest. He says this all WHILE HE SMELLS MORE SEX FROM THE PRIEST’S ROOM! Ceil, Sebastian, and Grell attend a purify meeting. The priest somehow reveals two individual’s pasts and heals them. Ceil is especially upset at the symbol the cult uses is the same one branded on his body. Grell doesn’t think the book being used is the Doomsday book though..but he thinks that it is nearby or something. Ceil is chosen to visit the priest and the nuns want to wash him. So naturally Sebastian decides to bathe him instead. Ceil gets all dolled up and meets with el creepo priest. He wants to use Ceil to read the book and touches him in a way that reminds him of his parents. The priest also says very familiar things and Ceil starts freaking out. He almost thinks it is his dad..so he screams for Sebastian to kill the priest. One gets stabbed in the face and one disappears in a fluff of feathers. Sebastian goes AH HA! I knew it was you Angela. Yeppers…Angela is flying around with angel wings and the REAL doomsday book (according to Grell). Angela kidnaps Ceil and takes him into an orb of blueness. Grell cuts Sebastian out of memory thingy film and off they go to save Ceil.
Before I get into the EWWWW factor of this show…I will do the haha I was right dance. Even though no one told me I was wrong…but still! I was right. I knew that the Queen’s butler (Ash) was related to Angela. I just did not think I would be proven right so quickly though? Pluto keeps ruining all the surprises and future plot stories. I wonder why Angela gave Pluto to Ceil anyway if he was going to ruin everything.
I just imagined Ash being a little more serious. But I am always wrong about these kinds of things. That and Ceil knows Ash…or knows him now. That means he is going to have to be a freak by law. He could have been MORE insane…and I am sure part of his insanity is an act to throw Ceil off. :( But not poor Pluto who keeps getting yelled out.
So the question is…is the Queen working with Ash and Angela or is she a victim too? Because you know Ash sent Ceil there to die…or do other horrible things to. X_X It seems a little bit too early to have a finally battle but the cult seems to be the one who hurt Ceil. Of course there could be a bigger, badder bad guy they are working for in the end.
I really didn’t picture Angela as an angel. Maybe she is some crazy kind of fallen angel. Who likes old men licking her feet. And likes having sex with man dogs. And enjoys puppet men. It is all related to the cult. See this show has a real moral story to it: just say no to cults.
So…with any plot points out of the way…MOG MY EYES!! MY EYES!!!
Sebastian….that was the most unsexiest sex scene I have ever seen in my entire life. And he didn’t even take off his clothes. That is either efficient or really lazy. That comment about the smell..was entirely unnecessary. One could pretend he might have meant a GOOD smell…but I doubt it. Thanks Sebastian for…you know implying that women smell down there. Okay….getting a little grossed out now.
CEIL! I know your young mind has seen a lot in life…but that is something you did not have to witness. Or hear…or smell apparently. Your young self should not know so much about sex or…how unrealistic it sounds! If your butler is going to slut up the cult whore you need to get far away from the situation at a checkup point later. Not…within screaming distances from the hot mess.
Grell made this entire situation the tiniest bit bearable..and that makes it all the scarier. I would want to write his whores name in his death book too. X_X I mean…this is a cult right? About unclean things right? Can’t get anymore dirty than having sex with someone you just met in a barn!!! Grell go after that girl and kill her!
But perhaps even more disturbing that Sebastian having sex WITH A GIRL…is the beautiful noise of young boys being violated? Seriously could she have said that line more “sexy” if she had tried? I mean…I guess she could have licked her lips. But…ew!!! Can you say ew?! This cements the creep factor of this cult…and I am not sure if this is a stab at the Catholic Church or not.
And even MORE disturbing is that Sebastian was gift wrapping Ceil up to give the molesting priest! Didn’t something click in his head….sounds from the bed room, only likes young boys….LET’S GIVE HIM CEIL! Very bad, BAD idea. I know that Sebastian could probably save Ceil in a second….but I would not want Ceil to experience one second of that grossness. :( Ceil has been nearly molest enough don’t you think?!
Thank goodness all the nastyness is done. Next week looks like a better episode. Anything is better than little boys being molested after all!
Chrome Shelled Regios - Episode 5
YAY more Engrish. This time something actually happens. Small little animals with people faces and voices are trying to attack the car. Some kind of evolution and when force fields don’t work. Something like that. There is a tiny little flashback of a young Layfon sucking at his training with the man with the crazy hair. Nina calls out Layfon for daydreaming during practice and is put off when Layfon doesn’t care about what she has to say. She reminds everyone that there is a platoon match tomorrow and she strongly encourages everyone to attend. Naturally only Harley says he is going to. Felli taunts Layfon with Nina’s words. Layfon tells Felli that he is working on finding his place here in the city and isn’t just giving into Nina or a path he doesn’t want to follow. Meishen is waiting outside the school to give Layfon a dinner/lunch but is put off when he sees Felli looking so close. Her two little buddies tell her not to give up hope. Layfon is under the impression he is spending his day off with all three girls the next day. Of course only Meishen shows up because she is a freak. They go to a popular café that turns out to be empty due to the match. The match does come on TV but Layfon doesn’t look all that excited. Later Meishen tries to feed Layfon the world’s cutest cookies even though he despises sweet. However he really enjoys hers and says it must be nice to know your truth path in life. Meishen goes on and on about lovely Layfon is and how she wants to have his babies.
BAM!!! The entire city stops moving and the cookies are ruined. Turns out the city has run over a filth bug’s nest. The legs are stuck under the ground and the bugs are crawling up the dome. All the civilians are told to hide while all these platoon kids are sent to fight the bugs. During their little pep meeting a bunch of kids are nervous and for good reason. Layfon tries to stop Nina and his crew from going out, saying safe matches with humans are nothing like filth bugs. Nina gets all pissy saying they have to fight, they are born to fight, and if they don’t fight today they will never fight. So they out to the battlefield…and wow is it harder than everyone though. Weapons are not working on the bugs and people are getting eaten. Nina is pretty much freaking out. Layfon is walking down the empty street and somehow GETS that he does have something to do in life: protect people. He thinks of Meishen and her friends and how he has to use his power. He runs to Harley and ask him to do adjustments on his weapon. He asks Felli to help him find the momma bug. She says she won’t help but decides that she doesn’t want to get munched on. Nina is trying her hardest to fight but it’s pretty hard when everyone else runs away. She nearly gets munched herself when Layfon flies out of nowhere and kills 348594 of them with his new weapon (see flashback training with scary hair man). He tells Nina to run while he takes out the Queen. He manages to make it to her nest despite him not wearing any protective gear and the outside air will kill him. He talks about how he tried to run away from what he is meant to do and this way of life will always follow him…as he slices up the big bug. Nina is waiting for Layfon to return while all the soldiers are being taken care of. Layfon does return all scrapped up…and passes out on top of Nina. She tries to be mad at Layfon for being so reckless…but holds him anyway.
Okay…okay. So this episode was pretty good. Not adding any new characters and almost focusing entirely on one subject worked well. Happy blogger is happy. And less confused.
Of course…the one part of the episode that really didn’t make much sense was the Engrish part of the episode. That will probably never make sense. Not until the last episode where it turns out this is showing us that somehow this Engrish people setting created the filth bugs or something like that. But….they really need to stick to less complex lines. X_X Creepy me out.
Okay so I lied a little bit. There were SOME flashbacks in this episode but they made TOTAL sense. Layfon was daydreaming about his past training. Nothing totally random. He had another flashback showing that he grew as a fighter and mastered a new skill, a skill he uses to protect Nina. So I approve of these flashbacks…since I was asked and all.
I did roll my eyes at Layfon in this episode. I can’t imagine someone who risked his life fighting these bugs would just walk away and pretend it doesn’t involve him. I guess he could have pretended it didn’t affect him…but they were crawling up the dome. They were coming to EAT PEOPLE! Sounds like it was going to affect him sooner rather than later.
Really, they pulled the guy (person) trying to run from their past but reluctantly gets pulled back in and is “forced” to fight once again. This time I am not sure that it worked well in Layfon’s favor. It makes him seem like a loser who was willing to let his friends die. He knew they were no match for those bugs yet he did nothing to help. How does it dawn on him so late that DUH I have people to protect? Bad Layfon, I believed more in you!
Nina Nina Nina….I get that you were a little pissy at Layfon for not fighting. It is his civic duty (I guess) to risk his life for buggyness. But…you were in over your head. Someone has a biiiiiiiiiiig head. A few matches with humans aren’t anything like fighting those monsters out in the big scary world. I give you brownie points for now running away like a coward….XD but living is good too.
Really…I do understand that they are KIDS protecting a huge city. I get that they are scared and don’t want to die. But…have they really grown up that sheltered that they have no idea what those bugs look like? Or anything about how to take them down? I really thought these platoons were for helping to protect the dorms. But perhaps they really are just for winning resources against other cities. X_X You would THINK that people with such advanced knowledge and technology could better train their soldiers. X_X
Felli was a little bit…meh too. I understand she doesn’t want to use her powers and find herself. But again…when there are bugs heading my way trying to eat my brains I WILL use my powers and not die. I am allergic to dying and I am sure these characters are as well. Time and lives were lost with her thinking about helping or not. But I am sure she doesn’t care. X_X But she is a cute angry chibi.
Do I have to talk about Meishen? I guess it is my blog and I can choose to ignore such useless and shallow characters. But…she made such cute cookies! I guess she can be useful if she makes such tasty looking treats. Layfon can eat the treats…but he can’t fall in love with Ms. One Trick Pony. She is too boring for Layfon. Be gone Ms boring person!
I really liked how the dome really isn’t a solid dome XD I don’t know what I was thinking…but I am insane. But I don’t remember in flashbacks Layfon and the other dragon blades or whatever having anything that helped them breathe. But I do like that concept too. Makes it more end of the world scary.
Overall YAY for this episode. Now that Layfon is on the road to getting his act together I wonder if Felli will leave him. XD But that leaves the doors wide open for Nina to come and make some genetically strong babies. X_X Or that is random. Anyway, looking forward to next week XD See ya there.
Skip Beat! - Episode 18
While Sho is getting ready for his music video promo thing he thinks about the lunch issue and how Kyoko threw salt at him. He keeps wondering if that is HIS Kyoko and how he can expose her. Even though he has adoring fans telling him how gorgeous he looks he is still nervous about this girl knowing all his weak points. He finds a make-up items that his Kyoko wanted and smiles as he has thought of a plan to flush her out. Kyoko is worried that Sho will figure things out due to her attitude at lunch. She just felt bad for Mimori and knows how she feels. Kyoko then focuses her energy on how lovely the make-up process is. Sho walks in looking all badass and Kyoko has a hard time not showing how excited she is. Sho brings out the make-up product and Kyoko shouts out her name for that product thus revealing her secret identity. Ren is off being told by his manager that his reasons for deducting points from Kyoko were purely because Ren was hurt Kyoko does not like him. Mimori is trying to find out from Sho what his relationship was with Kyoko. Mini flashback shows Kyoko asking Sho if he is going to fire her. Sho laughs and says that there is no way Kyoko can hurt him on set and he has too much pride to fire her. Firing her would admit that he is afraid of her. He almost rethinks he words as Kyoko comes out all angelfied and beautiful. Kyoko ruins that whole beautiful image as she walks up to Sho and kicks him. She declares that she will get revenge on him and that her heart is black and all that stuff. She vows he will regret allow her staying on the set. Sho is off in the corner being all shocked and amazed. Kyoko tells Sho to get off his butt and calm Mimori down…who can not bring herself to work with Kyoko. Kyoko blames Sho for Mimori being all cry baby. People commend Kyoko on being so professional about Mimori being a giant loser but Kyoko can see where she is coming from.
Sho manages to calm Mimori down and filming starts. Kyoko is playing with Mimori in a flower field while Sho looks on. Soon Sho scares himself by thinking of his love lyrics and beautiful Kyoko. He thinks back to how he tried to lie to Mimori about how he knew her…but he fails at keeping his lies straight. His manager forces Sho to pay attention as if he is not careful he will be swept up in Kyoko’s acting ability. Sho’s director starts thinking back to the exact wording they used with each other and thinks that there is more to their relationship than live in maid. Mimori is off complaining again to Kyoko about how unfair it is that Kyoko and Sho had a close relationship. Kyoko explains that they were not the happy couple she thinks they were and it is all over. Sho then is walking with his manager and tells her that he still sees Kyoko as HIS and he will do with her what he pleases. His manager is taken back at his callous attitude and is slightly scared. The director is explaining the last scene, how Kyoko is going to choke Sho and throw him off the roof of some castle place. Kyoko and Sho have a stare down and battle of words. Sho is a little bit worried since he is green to the acting scene too. But…Kyoko takes the scene too seriously…and her grudge nearly kills Sho…twice. X_X The director tries to be patient with her and tells her she knows she can do this (enough pronouns for ya?). Kyoko gets depressed as when she was acting with Mimori was she thinking of Moko….and doesn’t know if she can not picture Sho as Sho. Sho comes up to her and mocks her terrible acting and how Kyoko is ruining the shoot. Kyoko gets even more worried and worked up!
XD YAY! The best kind of Kyoko is the Kyoko that is plotting evil things against Sho. Tenchi very much approves this episode!!!!
While Kyoko did not look as gorgeous as I pictured her in my mind…she was still pretty breath taking. I think the eye color is what really did it for me. She looks a little bit too much…like not Kyoko at moments. I wanted her to look like Kyoko but with different hair and make-up. XD I want Kyoko to look like gorgeous Kyoko, not someone else. But Kyoko looked 48778 times more gorgeous than Mimori did…so I laughed all the way to the bank.
Sho was…just Sho. I guess if he didn’t act like a damn fool I could have thought he looked pretty cool. I thought the claws were a bit much (as I did in the manga)..but I guess he looked cool. But since he was so full of himself I didn’t feel the need to praise him so much. Why should anyone when he praises himself so much XD
I did enjoy Sho getting caught up in Kyoko’s awesomeness. I enjoy it when ANYONE gets caught up in her wowness…but more so when it was Sho. I especially like how his lyrics were playing in the background as he watched her act. Then he had to make tons of excuses why he was staring at her and all that jazz.
But in the end he can’t admit that he likes her. No, he has to tell people that Kyoko is his personal play toy and that is why he is upset. I am glad that other people are slowly learning the truth about how cruel of a person he is. Even if I think Ren is a douche bag…he is 59574 times better than Sho as a love interest for Kyoko! DOWN WITH SHO!
Poor Kyoko. She was doing such a great job hiding who she really was….but she lost to her love of beauty products. Such a cruel trick was played on her!! :( I hope she doesn’t beat herself up too much over a mistake like that. After being assaulted by such a freak I probably would have lost my cool and composure.
Kyoko is a lovely actress XD But she has to learn soon she can’t always think of other people in situations like these. Because quite frankly she doesn’t know that many people. She should be able to act with Mimori not because she is thinking of Moko but just because she is an actress. I know it does help her…I know what I mean!!! XD She relies too much from personal experience and that will run out soon.
I love the negative energy that is shared between Kyoko and Sho. I just hope it isn’t really sexual tension. I like them being blood feud enemies and fighting it to the death. Of course…Kyoko too it too seriously and tried to really kill him. I am sure that she will work it out next week and find the strength to only pretend to kill him. XD Or just claim it was an accident…..
Clannad After Story Episode 18
Not too much is happening in the hidden world. It is getting colder and there is more snow. The robot man has decided to leave the area. On the train Tomoya is trying to make small talk with Ushio. He attempts to find out what games she liked to play and is X_X when he learns Akio is teaching her baseball. Tomoya loses his cool when a brat won’t calm down on the train and yells. Ushio gets scared and goes off to the bathroom. Things get really awkward and Ushio is sad little girl. Tomoya decides that she must be bored and decides to buy her toy. He picks out this lame looking robot toy and Ushio’s eyes get HUGE with MOG coolness. When Tomoya questions the choice in toy Ushio declares that she likes it! They spend the night at a traditional inn. Ushio has to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night and Tomoya ends up going with her. They stop and look at fireflies outside as Ushio has never seen them before. Again the mood gets a little sad when Ushio asks Tomoya about her mother and Tomoya refuses to tell her anything. Despite being a jerk Tomoya looks on as his daughter sleeps so cute!!! They reach some country side and begin to walk. They come across a huge field of flowers and Ushio is all MOG this is cool. Tomoya loses the jerk title as he lifts Ushio up so she can get a better view. After a while Ushio starts running around in the field with her toy as Tomoya looks on. He falls asleep and awakens when Ushio states she has lost her toy. He tries to help her find it but he thinks it is pretty much hopeless. Ushio insists on finding it as Tomoya goes back under his resting tree. As he is watching Ushio suddenly he sees an image of a young boy and his father. He calls out to Ushio that he is leaving to follow said image.
When Tomoya reaches the top of the hill he sees an older woman. She calls Tomoya by name which surprises him greatly. He is even more surprised to know that this is his grandmother, his father’s mother. She tells Tomoya how she was worried about her son raising Tomoya alone and that he wasn’t..well..the best to raise a kid alone. But she said that her son was determined and went through a lot of sacrifices to raise Tomoya. He eventually turned to drinking since this lifestyle was so hard and it was too much for him. But yet the saddest point in her son’s life was the day Tomoya left to live with Nagisa. It left her son all alone and like he had went through all that for nothing. That is why he made such a horrible mistake (going to prison as he has been released at this point). She says that even though her son is a bad person he was a good father. Tomoya..finally agrees and says it wasn’t all bad. The grandmother says that she wants her son to come home and for Tomoya to tell him so. Her words seem to move Tomoya as they both go back to Ushio. He tells Ushio that even though she is sad she lost the toy, it can’t be helped. He promises to buy a new one…but that isn’t what Ushio wants. She wants the toy her father picked out, that is why it’s important to her. Tomoya questions Ushio if she has been lonely all this time..to which she says yes. Tomoya then asks if it’s okay if Ushio comes live with daddy now, that he wants to be with her. Ushio then asks if she has to hold it in anymore. Because the only places to cry are in the bathroom or in daddy’s arms. She starts to cry and hugs Tomoya tight. Tomoya starts crying as he apologizes for what he has put his tiny child through. They cry in each other’s arms as the sun sets. Later on the train Tomoya asks Ushio if she wants to hear about mommy now. She does and Tomoya starts telling her how mommy was the kind of person who was weak…but somehow her crying was a sign of strength. Tomoya starts to cry at the memory of Nagisa and almost falls into despair again. Yet the sight of his daughter crying because her daddy is so sad makes him realize he has to be brave for both of them. He wipes away both of their tears and keeps on talking about Nagisa. In his mind he tells Nagisa he FINALLY has found what he has to protect now and he will not let her down.
My….my eyes…cannot handle the amount of tears and cutest at the same time. Truly my brain has melted but for all the right reasons. This might possibly be my favorite episode in this series. In fact…they should end the series here. Just in case we don’t get the happy ending…this is pretty damn happy for me!
Tomoya…I did have doubts about you. I really thought you were going to have a longer time of feeling sorry for yourself. Granted…it has been 5 years and I am a little bit ticked off at you. Yet I am HAPPY that you were so concerned for your child you did the best thing for her. You were NOT like your father. You were not diluted enough to think raising a kid on your own was the best for BOTH of you.
Well…..maybe Tomoya was being selfish and was feeling sorry for himself. Still the end result was better than the alternative. Tomoya’s father did his “best” to raise his child and Tomoya grew up resentful. Tomoya did his selfish phase first and woke up. He realized what he was missing out on and THEN was going to be a good father.
One could argue that Ushio has been hurt from the first 5 years of her life being ignored. I think that young children are VERY impressionable. However, they are VERY forgiving. Tomoya as a young teen was not so forgiving of his father’s drunken behavior. But 5 year old tend to want to love their father and forgive them no matter what. Ushio was raised in a great environment for 5 years. She wasn’t totally neglected. I think damage can be repaired at a younger age rather than trying to make up for countless mistakes done up until teenage-ness.
Okay, I am really not making much sense. What to do what to do. The awesomeness of this episode is blocking the words from my mind to the paper. Internet paper I suppose. The point is I think Tomoya was stuck in some immense pain and realized on some level he was not capable of taking care of Ushio. I believe that Tomoya’s father was very selfish in his attempt to raise Tomoya alone. I am not saying MEN can’t raise kids alone. I am saying you shouldn’t lie to yourself and say you can do it in an attempt to be a strong person.
When I first watched the episode I was upset at Tomoya’s grandmother. I felt bad for Tomoya having to listen to her explain how Tomoya should love his father because at least he TRIED. He was a loser and kept losing his job and it drove him to drink…BUT AT LEAST HE TRIED. Because you know how TRYING won’t mess up a kid or anything.
Then I thought a little bit more…and decided in my mind to stretch what she was saying. Or trying to say. That Tomoya…you pretty much sucked as a father but I am going to forgive you LIKE you should forgive your father. That in reminding Tomoya that his father wasn’t ALL BAD Tomoya could realize that there was still hope for him to be a good father.
Or that was the message that was conveyed to me. She was trying to convince Tomoya that despite all the crappy things that his father did to him…he was still a good father and Tomoya should forgive him. That Tomoya shouldn’t give up on himself, that he can be a good father if he just gave himself the chance.
MMMMM I am rambling again and I want to make great points and convey all these great points to other people. Do I think that Tomoya’s father was a good father? No I don’t. I think he was selfish for not trying to put his pain aside for the sake of his child. He acted like raising this child was the hardest thing he had to do.
Tomoya is different. Tomoya was reacting to Nagisa’s death. Raising Ushio alone wasn’t hard on him; Nagisa’s death was. He realized that he was HURTING Nagisa by not taking care of her child she died to bring into this world. In a way…his father being a crappy father made Tomoya realized he had a chance to make a difference. That he would be different if he was raised by someone who put his own needs aside for him. That no matter how much he is hurting he has to suck it up and be a father.
Despite Ushio being a weird little kid…she…words can’t describe it. The cuteness is overwhelming. She was willing to search for hours for some cheap looking toy because her father picked it out. Probably the only thing he has ever bought for her. That touched me more that words could describe. Even Tomoya was moved at such cuteness.
And then Tomoya cried. I am telling you every time he cried I about lose my mind. I can’t handle it. When he cried because of his child’s devoted love to him despite him being a loser…it was just too much. He was forgiven and he realized what he had been missing in his life. That such a small gesture on his part meant so much to his child and he was moved.
And when Ushio cried all bets were off. I am sure my husband was wondering why I was a bawling mess. Ushio had been waiting all this time to hear her father say I want us to be a family. She was trying to be brave and not cry. Or rather she wanted to cry, but only in her father’s arms. She was holding in all this hurt just to wait for Tomoya.
Then on the train….oh boy. I think what moved me the most was Ushio crying. She wasn’t crying for Nagisa. She never knew that person and I think it is hard for kids to really be sad for someone they have never met. She could cry for the idea of having a mother…but she wasn’t crying for mommy. She was crying because her father was crying. And that…was the saddest/most beautiful thing ever. And I think Tomoya realized that. Realized that his kid was so concerned over his tears he had to push his pain aside and hide his own tears to make his child feel better.
And I think that Tomoya has now realized that thinking of Nagisa doesn’t always have to be sad now. Granted if I lost my spouse I have no idea what I would do…but there comes a time when you will be reminded of someone who has passed…and it will no longer make you sad. You can think of their kid on the
I am sure there were other parts of the episode that I have failed to mention. Mostly the entire episode actually. I really liked how Tomoya realized…that times weren’t all bad with his father. That he was so focused on the later years he forgot how his dad did try (not that it makes it better). I really didn’t think Tomoya was such a bad man for yelling at that kid. His mother was being a jerk and should have shut that kid up.
Of course there is the toy in question. Ignoring the fact that you know…it was a robot toy…and there is a hidden world with a robot man…Tomoya thought it was a pretty lame toy. And I am sure other young girls would much rather have a doll or something else than a plain robot toy. But to Ushio…that toy wasn’t lame based on the sole fact it was from her father. It could have been anything and she would have loved it! That is what makes everything more wonderful and meaningful.
I think that despite Sanae looking like a ditsy fruit tart most of the time she really is smart. She orchestrated this whole event to make Tomoya realize he did have joy left in his life. He had to come to realize that himself. People telling him to take care of his daughter would not have meant anything. He had to feel it, he had to want Ushio. To me Sanae loves Tomoya so much to do that for him.
The next episode looks like a very positive one. Tomoya is going to forgive his father. I think this is very big of him...yet he has to do it as his child has forgiven him. I hope that means we are in for a few episodes of more POSITIVE times. Such as some old faces showing their faces and one person who has been forgotten for such a long time. Despite Nagisa being gone…I am hopeful that there can be some positive things in the future. Please save all that sadness to come for the final episode where it will be BAM okay again. PLEASE!
Maria Holic Episode 6
BOOBIES!!!!!
Seriously, that is what happened with about 75 percent of this episode. A summary and decent review really would be a waste of time...boobies and fan service was almost the entire content of the episode!
And here we have a tiny bit of plot...but the most important kind of plot I guess....So does it count that it was covered up by fan service, boobies, and nose bleeds?
Yes, the reason that Maria is a crazy cross dresser has been revealed. And quite frankly I can't see how anyone would say this reasoning is crazy. I mean...it makes total sense. Maria has a twin sister named Shizu. Now instead of Maria attending the male school and Shizu attending the female school..their grandmother (in her will) has decided that it would be best if they attended the different gender school. This is all under the guise that this will make them better people and the one who can go without being discovered will become the headmaster of BOTH schools. So don't you see that they HAVE to cross-dress to understand how the opposite sex feels? DOESN'T THAT MAKE SENSE TO YOU?!
No....really? *sigh* Why was I expecting this to make sense? A show with....all this crazy can't make sense. But at least I got the reason. It would have been worse to not knowing at all. And really...there have been crazy grandmothers who make their children/grandchildren do outrageous things. In fact...she might not even be dead. She might jump from the shadows at the end and declare herself the winner.
And of course...Maria wants to make her sister's life miserable. Maria claims that Kanako knowing he is a male does not count since she found out before she was a student. But Shizu will lose since Kanako knows NOW. But Maria is her wonderful self and tortures his sister into allowing the game to continue.
But....Maria really loves his sister. He actually does not care if he wins this little game and becomes the headmaster or not. No...he wants to continue this game so his sister can overcome her hatred of boys and become a good headmaster herself. Yes, this scene has to be there so Kanako can have some faith that Maria isn't a total douche bag. Ignoring the fact that Maria is probably 75 percent of the reason that Shizu hates males.
So...that is the whole episode. Kanako is happy that she gets to help young girls measure their boobies. Kanako loses half her blood over nose bleeds. She meets Maria's twin sister and learns of their deal/plot. Maria's sister runs out of the room crying....Oh and someone's underwear goes missing and Kanako is the main suspect. Yes, truly this episode was made for me...NOT!
To Aru Majutsu no Index - Episode 19
To Aru Majutsu no Index - Episode 19
This episode takes place at the same time as the last episode. Accelerator is walking around town and the viewers can hear Index throwing her fit from episode 18. The Accelerator is having a hard time just going out for a few snacks. He is attacked multiple times while on his short walk. And it really can’t be called an attack as…he flicks them aside so very quickly. He explains that situations like this have been happening ever since Touma defeated him. People no longer fear him as he apparently he is no longer the best. Even if his powers are still the exact same strength and all…While walking and hearing Index act all crazy he blocks off all noise so he doesn’t notice a person is following him and talking to him. He finally does notice and the girl is shocked at his ignoring abilities. Accelerator is like who the hell are you and rips off the tiny cloth covering her. Underneath…is a naked child like Misaka sister. X_X She explains that she is sister 20001 and she is known as the Last Order. She was still in the growing tube thing when Accelerator was defeated so she was ejected early from her growth pod thing thus she is small and tiny. She is hoping that Accelerator will take her back to the researchers so she can be taken care of. She says that Accelerator is going to take care of her, despite him ignoring her/telling her the wrong room numbers. They reach his room which is pretty much trashed due to stupid people. He doesn’t seem to care as he lays down on the couch. He muses that Misaka Misaka (that is how she refers to herself) would probably be safer on the streets. She says NO she wants to be with him as she cuddles into bed. He wakes up the next day with Misaka Misaka begging for food. He doesn’t agree to make her some food…..but he does take her out to eat (while she is still only wearing a sheet). She questions his hair color and he answers her questions despite being uninterested. He notices one of the researches (named Amai Ao) in the parking lot and he peels away when he sees that the Accelerator is starting at him. Accelerator gets all pissy at Misaka Misaka for not focusing on her primary task. She claims right now she is focused on eating.
Soon the conversation turns to how Misaka Misaka is not afraid of the Accelerator. She has all the memories from the other sisters and she knows that the Accelerator tried to talk to them several times even though it was not part of the program. That the Accelerator was trying to get the sisters to say they were scared and didn’t want to fight. The Accelerator gets all pissy and says he enjoyed killing all the sisters. He tries to leave but stops when Misaka Misaka slumps on the table. She knows that she is sick because she was taken out of the tube way too early and needs to find the scientists. He decides to leave…but he still thinks about the situation as he ends up at the research center. He meets up with another research named Yoshikawa. He snips at her for a while and starts looking at the papers himself. After some talk it is revealed that Misaka Misaka is the last model and…well the MAIN one. Turns out that Ao guy has introduced a virus into Misaka Misaka to contaminant all the other Misakas. The virus will take place tonight and it will cause all the other sisters to go crazy and kill humans. The reason Yoshikawa is at the old research center is to find a way to stop this from occurring. She gives Accelerator two choices: he can go after Ao and bring him back or he can take care of Misaka Misaka and put her back in the tube thingy. He smiles and says DUH of course you know what I am going to pick….yet you see him running back to Misaka Misaka anyway. Da end.
I didn’t think I was going to like this episode. I am all for actually making the show MORE about Index again and what not…but I really did like this episode. XD
I am not very fond of the Accelerator but as I stated before it wasn’t really his fault. He was made to kill all those sisters. Whether or not he liked killing them after the fact is a different story. Of course…he didn’t have to kill the first one to learn that he enjoyed it…but still. The blame is not all with him.
Saying all that….I am a little surprised he didn’t kill this Misaka. He has not qualms going around blasting anyone in the city who gets in his way. And to have the face of your sworn enemy might be hard to feel sorry for. Not to mention this sister is a lot more…interesting than the past ones. Yet the Accelerator follows the tried and true path of mad guy redeems himself by saving someone later.
And Misaka Misaka is the perfect person to save. I love how she talks so funny. Yes all the Misaka sisters talked really weird…but Misaka Misaka is even weirder. Her little explanations are slightly off. Nothing totally wrong but they go on too long and are way too descriptive. And she is pretty happy go lucky. Most people do not go up to their attackers and ask them for help. They certainly do not sleep naked next to the person who killed 10k of you and eat breakfast with them.
But she does. And she does all of this because she doesn’t think that the Accelerator is a bad guy. She thinks that deep down he never wanted to hurt them. She thinks that he was really just lonely and was reaching out for some kind of human contact when he talked to them. And she is right…he didn’t have to talk to any of them at all. That the kind of person he claims to be would not talk to someone like that. So maybe it is not a total stretch to think that maybe he wanted them to become more than what they were/are and he is not completely void of human feelings.
I am not quite sure about this whole plot to brainwash all the Misakas into killing humans. I am not sure what Ao is going to gain from this awesome plan. Or maybe he won’t gain anything. Maybe it is just a plot to get back at society for all the pressure on him. Or maybe it is a way to get the Accelerator to level 6 in a different way. That the Accelerator would go through the city and kill all the sisters this way. If that is the reason I will like this turn of events.
And in the end the Accelerator keeps on showing that he does have a heart. He could have taken the easier path. Chasing down Ao and beating some answers out of him would have been fun. But he decided that he felt something and he will go back to protect that innocent girl. XD Such a wonderful turn of events.
I am glad that this arc is going to be at least of two episodes long. It would have felt too squished to have everything in one episode. I did think that more people in this organization were going to go after Touma and all that jazz but this is just as interesting. XD But…no killing Misaka Misaka please. She is way too cute for that!
