Have you ever been in the middle of a conversation and suddenly something random and nonsensical is said it causes you to lose your mind? Because the comment is irrational you are unable to form an intelligent response and therefore you can only react in an irrational manner?
I think that is the story of my life. Maybe it is my fault trying to engage in conversations with people who are obviously insane and oblivious the truth. Silly me. I was trying to talk about a customer’s awful behavior and I was basically called a doo doo head. And since I am a doo doo head whatever I was talking about is invalid. Amazing.
So now that I am hope where there is some sanity time to blog! Up now is Fate/Zero episode 5. Spoilers for everyone showing up to a party. Well minus one insane person…
Episode Summary: Rider is looking proud of his grand entrance. Waver, Saber, and Lancer are more like…..hmm. Rider then reveals his grand master plan. He wants Saber and Lancer to become his wing men and help him conquer the world. Lancer is like no I have my own Master and Saber is pretty offended to be asked that question. Rider doesn’t know why his brilliant plan hasn’t worked. Waver goes to scold Rider but that just exposes him to Kayneth as the one who stole the relic. Upon learning the truth about his summoning Rider decides to have Waver’s back and prefers him to a man who hides in the shadows. Then Rider calls out everyone else who is hiding in the shadows. Archer pops up and is upset that other people are calling themselves King when clearly he is the only King ever. Before he can attack the pretenders Berserker comes out in his….weird glory. Seriously it looks like everyone else is on one plain of existence and he is on another. Deciding that Berserker would not make a good minion Rider asks Waver to scan Berserker. Only his ability makes it impossible to read his skills. Stupid video game.
Archer gets pissed that Berserker looked at him and sets forth an amazing attack (apparently revealing his super weapon o choice). Only in doing so reveals Berserker’s amazing attack (turning any weapon into the SUPER weapon). Tokiomi gets pissed with Archer going all out and uses one of his commands to call back Archer. Berserker sets his eyes on Saber but Lancer goes out of his way to protect her. Apparently he wants to have a fair fight or something. Kayneth gets mad that Lancer is not attacking so he uses one of his commands to make Lancer join Berserker’s side. Saber is like OH CRAP and Emiya, who has been spying the entire time, has to make a choice to take out someone or Saber will be killed. Before he can do so Rider steps in to protect Saber. Berserker retreats which also allows a grateful Lancer to stand down. Saber questions why Rider came to her aid. Rider smiles and hopes that every battle he is in is fun and honorable. He rides off with unconscious Waver. Saber knows that she must face Lancer again or she will not be able to use her arm. Elsewhere Caster has an orgasm over Saber being reborn in this fight and Kirei learns that someone is spying on his secret not so secret hideout. THE END!
X___X So much fighting.
Also it was like a party in this episode. Maybe the Servants should head on over to Kimi to Boku and teach them how to have fun. Party on crazy people.
I think Rider is pretty amusing. And a really good sport. Saber had some not kind words for him and Lancer was like okay dude but in the end he had both of their backs. He said his thing, it wasn’t accepted but didn’t look down on anyone.
Not that I blame Saber and Lancer’s reactions to Rider and his magical appearance. If you were hot stuff in your day it would be a bit of an insult to be a lackey to some dude before you even battle him. Saber was just a little more…..wordy with her answer. But at the end of the day Saber, Lancer, and Rider respect who the others are and that in their own right are heroes and look forward to worth battles with the other.
Archer apparently did not get that memo. Because your name is Archer, not Gilgamesh XD. So much respect from me. Reading up on who he is (because History class was so long ago..) I am not that impressed. At least the others were semi real people. Gilgamesh is basically a tale of a tale. Part god part human? Oh okay dude. Not all half gods act like that. Guess we can’t have all nice Servants right? But Rider’s attitude is gross and bleh. Ruins his pretty face.
And is he not over the top? Did his butt not walk on this earth when he was alive? WAS ALIVE. Meaning you are just like everyone else Mr Half god. People cannot even look at him? No one can claim to be king before and after his death? Yes we will just retire that word since you were the best nonexistent king ever.
In the end I wonder if Saber appreciates what Rider did or is a bit resentful. People seem to bring up her general a lot and even Emiya questioned her and her past. So Rider coming to her rescue might be sore spot with her. The fight was fair so why intervene? I guess Rider was like OH CRAP I don’t want the battles to end so soon and went and saved her.
HOWEVER I love Rider for defending Waver. I mean…Waver should be mad about the announcing who I am thing and flying him into battle. But when Kayneth was going to pick on Waver Rider was like PSHT my Master is too awesome for words.
Which really makes me sad for Rider. I am not too sad about Archer getting commanded so earlier in the series because he was acting like a crazy person. But now Rider knows that he was not first pick. That makes me a sad little blogger. I am not sure how I feel about Rider being commanded. On one hand they were summoned to serve their Masters and Rider seems more focused on Honor that winning. Me thinks he has been watching Survivor too much. On the other hand maybe the Master and Servant should work together to obtain both their goals? You know since the Servant is doing most of the work.
I don’t know. Rider had damaged Saber fair and square. Why not team up with someone to take out the weak prey? Honor folks! HONOR! I don’t know. But haha Kayneth wasted one of his commands already. I laugh at him.
So…..yeah. Berserker and Kariya. I am not sure how much more random that could have been. Did Berserker not listen at all or did he just go overboard in attacking Saber? Either way Kariya didn’t seem that upset with the results. Nothing came of it and now people have figured out what his super weapon is. Seems like it would have been better had he hide a little longer.
But Berserker did a good job in hiding who he really is. A point for him! Kariya seems to think that things will be okay as long as Berserker doesn’t go….Berserk again.
I am not sure what Caster and Ryuu were doing. Obviously they just got done killing some people but they were watching the battle from a safe distance. Oh and Caster wants to bath in the virgin blood of Saber. Just because. Ryuu is like okay, as long as it involves killing.
I am not sure what Emiya was doing in this episode either. He had a few chances to take out a Master or two but in the end he didn’t shoot anyone. That is because of Rider though and maybe Emiya should thank him? He got to learn some intel on the others and can remain hidden for a bit longer. He is slightly over dramatic though.
So what will happen now? Kirei knows that someone is spying on him. Saber has to defeat Lancer or she will be unable to continue fighting. And poor Waver. Won’t someone wake that poor boy up? XD Looks like we are in for some exciting stuff next week yay! Fight on Saber!!!

That familiar belonged to Maiya, ..right? He better send assassins for mission already, since their drama was not so impressive and the secret is out very quickly.
Caster doesn't want Saber's blood, duh. :-)
He has the hots for her. In a sexual way. Imagine having someone like that as your stalker. *shivers*
No wonder Saber is always hungry, imagine all the pressure from the stalker....
Yup, when Bluebeard no longer exists in Fate Stay Night, Gilgamesh-kun becomes her stalker instead. Poor girl. :-P
Nah, she just has great appetite.
Eternia and Anonymous- Creepy stalker is super creepy. I mean...he was already creepy to begin with but now we all have to hate him more because he is after our poor Saber. Ryuu is like whatever bring on the dead bodies so I doubt he will be around that long. Yay for us.
Although...Archer is annoying too. XD But he is better to look at than El Creepier. I much prefer the noble Lancer. Guess the mole worked on me too.
Yup, Saber has an A rank Magic Resistance, but you don't.
:-)
I like Berserker more~ Kariya should just kick the bucket already, so that I can take his servant, lol.
Eternia- I feel bad for him but I don't want to see Kariya throwing up worms every episode. Just...just no. Sorry dude, your story is sad but you needs to go. And take crazy Caster with you.
