Ookami Kakushi Episode 8

Can’t I do my To Aru Kagaku no Railgun post instead?

FINE!!! Let me see what I can muster up….

Photobucket

See someone finds this funny.

Do not be afraid of my unenthusiastic intro. I am sure deep down this was a great episode and I am just being evil. Or honest. Evilly honest probably. Proceed!

Photobucket

Sure. I will forget about all this mess. Right on that.

Nemuru decides to release Kaname. But not before doing something really, REALLY annoying. You know back when Hiroshi first moved to town and Nemuru and Isuzu had a fight in a room but we the viewers didn’t get to hear what is going on? Yeah that happened again. This time Nemuru whispered something to Kaname and we don’t get to find out what until the last episode. Well probably anyway. This series does kinda suck at the suspense portion of a drama/horror anime.

Photobucket

See the shocked eyes?! That means something important was said!

The point is what was told? I am sure it has something to do with Hiroshi. What with Kaname’s huge eyes and all. Of course it would have been nice if Kaname had looked a little shocked at the fact that 99 percent of her friends are werewolves. Or whatever Nemuru refers to herself as. But Kaname handles all that shocking information pretty well so whatever Nemuru whispered to her must be really bad. Like Hiroshi is the one who can destroy all the wolves and he must die. Or he can really save all the wolves but in the process he will be destroyed. Whatever the case may be Kaname will now start ignoring Hiroshi and treating him different as she can’t bear to look at his unlucky self.

I say all of this and it will probably turn out the huge secret Nemuru is telling everyone is no big deal and is fairly obvious. That Hiroshi just smells too tasty for these wolves to handle. Woot what a secret. Go me.

Photobucket

Wait I was right? X_x

But seriously Nemuru. Why were you telling Kaname anything? Why didn’t you just release her back into town with strict orders to not tell anyone anything? Or you know just kill her like you killed your other classmates? Or maybe make her forget about this whole mess and remove that lame book from the library? No? You rather blab all your secrets? Yay for Nemuru.

Photobucket

Keeping on doing that plan...whatever it is. Yeah.

I am totally confused on the Sakaki issue. I think he looks too similar to the one wolf dude that likes to talk back to Nemuru. So I am confused on that issue and I am confused on what his objective really is. He wants to prove to Hiroshi that Nemuru is bad by…..locking him in a room with her so she can eat his brains? That is not the way to make friends my dear crazy person.

Photobucket

Maybe she is being escorted back to the old part of town? Goodbye boring lady.

The entire Kaori issue was interesting. And by interesting I mean confusing. We never saw her losing control right? Just that gross looking scar growing on her arm. And that happened every day we saw her. If the wolves have a certain moon that makes them look gross/act crazy Kaori should have been fine most of the time. We never saw her try to make out with anyone but she might be too awesome for words. Kaori plays the violin so she has more self control than the normal person. That is why she went quietly into that gentle night instead of throwing a big fit like the other wolves. How special is it that Kaori gets special treatment and a parade to her death.

Also how creepy is it that Nemuru’s family keeps tabs on all their wolves like that? Big brother anyone?! X_X

Photobucket

Let's move closer to the danger.

What was Hiroshi doing this episode? Well he was busy not worrying about Kaname being absent from school. He was not worrying that Isuzu was going to chase after him and eat his soul. And he did not run when Nemuru said OH HAI my people are here to kill you. But he did contact Sakaki and get himself kidnapped. Or at least he looks kidnapped. Either way Hiroshi is having a really sucky life.

Also can I get an explanation on why that book was even in the library in the first place? No? Okay then….

Photobucket

Wolves get run in a pack and threaten stupid boys with sticks.

Maybe I can get an explanation on why one would WANT to be a wolf? Perhaps that is why there are such strict laws, because they don’t want to make other people suffer? But yeah….being born a wolf seems really, really lame. Okay I guess they get some super powers…but the curse that makes most of the wolves die at a young age is no fun. Sign me up for being a normal human.

Photobucket

Someone is going to get kicked later.

I would like to know why Nemuru was getting her orders questioned. I thought her family was top dog. I guess I was wrong as she was quickly stripped of her powers and told BAD WOLF BAD. So who is going to go around slashing wolves now? Questions questions.

Photobucket

Go secrets!!!

I think the problem with this series is the suspense. And the fact that Hiroshi is not very concerned about the dangerous situation he is in. Maybe next week will be better. Or maybe next week Hiroshi will just go lalala when faced with danger again and the entire town can be suspicious while leaving important documents for humans to find. WOOHOO for surprises!

Pokemon human forms

Yesterday should have been an Ookami Kukushi blog post. The episode came out late so it's not my fault.

Today should have been an Ookami Kukushi post. The episode was boring so it's not my fault.

So I did what any normal person does when they are bored and nothing is on TV. I went on facebook and spent tons of time on a new app. Rest assured this post does deal with pokemon in human forms!

Photobucket

See I promise!!!

The app is question is Flair. Basically you send and get little tiny buttons with pictures/sayings on them. Apparently people have been sending me flairs so I decided to see what was going on. There I discovered the cuteness.

Someone sent me a pokemon flair so I decided to look for more because I enjoy collect cute things. Most of the flairs were different kinds of fan art of normal pokemon. But I started to notice many of the flairs were of pokemon with a human dressed up exactly like them! X_X Too cute for words and thus hours were spent earning more points so I could earn them all.

After discovering that you can't find out the artist of flairs (or can you? tell me if you can) I turned to the internet. And let me tell you there are a lot of...interesting pictures when you search for "pokemon human form". But soon I found a website that contained the source of the cuteness. But since it is all in Japanese I am still no closer to find out the original artist. Or seeing all the cuteness as not all the pokemon have been drawn yet.

A note to all: most of the pictures are extremely cute and awesome. However one (Slakoth I believe) is racist. That really sent me for a loop as I was enjoying the art up until that point. It does make me sad and I hope it makes everyone else upset too. But otherwise the art is super cute. Just leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth.

So putting that issue aside I would love more information about this artist. I want to see the newest pokemon in human form. And it would be really cool to find out if this person attends any anime conventions in the nearby area. I love pokemon fanart and would love to purchase a few pieces. So if anyone has any information about this artist please let me know.

I shall leave you with a few of my favorite pictures. I wanted to pick my favorite pokemon but I decided to be fair and pick my favorite pieces. Again most of their pieces are super cute but these got a MOG CUTE out of me. Enjoy them fellow pokemon fans. And please let me know the source of these cute pictures if you know. XD

Nick Simmons plagiarized the manga Bleach

I first heard about this hot mess over in the live journal community bleachness. While some manga artists take inspiration from other artists and the lines of honoring verses stealing sometimes get blurred....this is flat out awesome drama. No doubt plagiarizing is never cool but this is epic.

The fact that it is happening to a celebrity's son makes it all the more juicy.

Here is a link that gives you a basic rundown on what exactly is going on. Nick Simmons (son of Gene Simmons) is accused of plagiarizing the manga Bleach in his work Incarnate. I say accused when really it is obvious he copied and possibly traced multiple panels.

The fact that I am not a Bleach manga reader and could immediately identify the plagiarism is laughable. Not only does this shame Nick Simmons but the publisher that backs him. Because not one person on that team realized OH MY this looks exactly like Bleach? Epic fail.

I am curious to see how this whole mess works out. Since he is the son of a rather rich man I doubt he will be heading to the poor house anytime soon. That and we don't know how Tite Kubo will handle this news. Whatever is the case....just wow. Someone was that pathetically desperate to copy one of the most read mangas in the world and didn't think they would get caught?!

There are almost no words.

Kobato Episode 19

Photobucket

Ioryogi is beyond excited too!

I am too excited to even write an intro to this blog post. Proceed with caution as semi off topicness and fan girling lie ahead.

THIS IS ME BEING EXCITED!!!! WOOHOO!!!! Hurray for…NEXT WEEK!

Yes the source of my main excitement is next week’s episode. I will be waiting on my computer Tuesday night waiting to see if Kobato episode 20 gets uploaded sooner. And why is that?

Photobucket

WHAT?!? Where is Fai??!?!?!

FAI!!!!!!!!

And Kurogane and Mokona and Syaoran.

BUT FAI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Photobucket

And the other boys of course.......

But Tenchi? Aren’t you the anime police who gets all pissy when the anime doesn’t follow the manga? SHHHHHHHHH you! I told you last week that I understand from now on Kobato probably can’t follow the manga that was not available at the time. I am not going soft or anything because of FAI!!!! I am completely non biased with my opinion.
NEXT WEEK THERE WILL BE FAI! And Kurogane and Mokona and Syaoran. Although I am wondering how they are going to do a scene with Kurogane and Ioryogi together. Or maybe there will be a weird look scene as the two boys (okay one armless man and a plushie) realize they might have more in common. Actually it would be hilarious if Fai says that Ioryogi is this universe’s Kurogane.

Photobucket

Be excited for Fai!!!!

Have I mentioned how excited I am for next week’s episode over 5 seconds of not very spoilery material? Knowing my luck our travelers are only stopping by long enough for Syaoran to notice Kobato is special but I have faith!!!! Faith that the entire episode will revolve around the Tsubasa crew (yeah not calling Syaoran Tsubasa EVER) and how Kobato will not really help them out but will brighten their probably sad moods. I am not totally crazy in believing that Kobato can help Syaoran out in his new mission.

Photobucket

BETTER VIEW OF FAI YAY!!!

I’m going to talk about episode 19 now and not focus on what kind of clothes the Tsubasa boys were wearing. XD SO EXCITED FOR SOMETHING SO SMALL YAY!!!

So episode 19. Let me see. What happened du lu lu.

Ah yes. Poor Kobato and her thinking everything is her fault. Poor Domoto getting shafted by the aloof boy that all the girls love. And poor baby Fujimoto whose mother better have a GOOD reason for not returning home to her tiny innocent child.
Ah Christmas Eve. I am always amused that the Japanese think Christmas Eve is a more important holiday than Christmas. XD And how they eat KFC because turkey is a bit uncommon there. Ah the lights and presents and the red bucket.

Photobucket

Everything is Kobato's fault always.

Most of the episode was devoted to Kobato playing the good girl card. Yeah it gets a little annoying at times how Kobato thinks everything is her fault. But animes often focus on misunderstands that really…were never misunderstands and people thinking they are awful when that is a bunch of crap since that person happens to be the nicest person on the face of the planet. This episode contained a lot of “Fujimoto hates me because I am an awful person woe is me”.

I love you Kobato. Really I do. But after being told of Fujimoto’s sad past why did you continue to blame yourself? Fujimoto is a jerk every single day of his life on a good day so when he has a reason to be grumpy don’t blame yourself! The only thing you are guilty of Kobato is being clueless and a little clumsy. Stop putting yourself down.

Photobucket

Must not cry :(
So while yes Fujimoto and his emoness might have been -__- at times….WHAT HAPPENED TO HIS MOTHER. And if CLAMP makes Kobato Fujimoto’s mother who died from something really small and she has come back to make things right I will throw up. I have faith in CLAMP that they won’t be THAT creepy. No no…..they just make it so the same soul from different dimensions fall in love…yeah. So putting aside the fact that Kobato can’t be Fujimoto’s mother…what happened to her?! Did you see that poor little Fujimoto face? That is why he is the bitter soul he is today. :( And on Christmas Eve. This better not be an open ended plot point CLAMP. But I rather her be dead because it is easier to forgive someone who is dead than someone who “made a mistake”.

Okay Fujimoto your mother….disappeared on Christmas Eve like 12+ years ago. That is really, really sad and crappy and you should be bitter around Christmas Eve. However….I rather you be sad in the corner and not take your anger out on innocent people. Especially people like Kobato who thinks everything is her fault anyway. And you really need to back up off Domoto. You had your time to ask Kobato out. You don’t own her. Domoto was well within his right to treat Kobato like a princess but nooooooooooo. Someone had to have a crybaby attack.

Photobucket

:( Hug for Domoto.

Domoto. :( I was cheering for you. Really I was. But deep down I think you knew that Fujimoto liked Kobato and that Kobato liked Fujimoto (even if she doesn’t know it). Yet it was still heart breaking to watch you realize that you can’t take Kobato’s mind off Fujimoto. Watching him take over Fujimoto’s job (at KFC) was so sad. But in the end he decided to play the nice guy and let them be a couple. Do we have a back-up girl for Domoto? He deserves a girl just for him!

Photobucket

What not plushie!?

That was still a lame present though.

Photobucket

This is them making up...

The “make-up scene” was…meh for me. Since there was never really a fight there was nothing to hug about? Kobato already knew Fujimoto’s sad past and Fujimoto really didn’t apologize for being Fujimoto. But in the end Kobato was happy that things were okay between them and it was time to sing!!!

Photobucket

A bit more emotion Fujimoto!

Okay it was the same song Kobato has been singing the entire series but still. Kobato was happy, we got to see most of the cast having a good evening, and the episode ends on a happy note.

Photobucket

What could poor Domoto say at this time?

I think my favorite part of the episode was when Kobato was crying to Domoto about how her heart hurts when she thinks of Fujimoto. Yeah it was a sad moment for both of them (especially Domoto) but it still gave me an AWWW feeling. Kobato slowly realizing that she loves Fujimoto is so cute and will probably have a big impact on the main plot.

Photobucket

This makes me sad. :(

Oh and also I thought it was sad when Ioryogi mentioned that no matter what when spring comes he will be separated from Kobato. :( Ioryogi does have a heart.

But who needs plot???!?!?!?!?! Next week we have FAI!! WEEEEEEEEEE!!!

To Aru Kagaku no Railgun Episode 20

It’s Sunday already? I spent all last week either sleeping or delivering pizzas so the week just flew on by! Is that a good thing or a bad thing? Probably good because I like to sleep.

So today was spent….sleeping and watching anime. XD I am a very productive person you see. But I managed to eat some real food! Exciting progress!

Photobucket

No one can resist cute Saten!!!

Also the cherry on this lazy Sunday was To Aru Kagaku Railgun was GOOD today. I have been complaining about filler episodes and how each minor character known to the series/mankind got an episode dedicated to their…specialness. But now there seems to be plot! Come and enjoy the plot with me!

Episode Overview: Kongo is in her room studying when an earthquake appears to hit the area. But when several objects move in her room it seems that this earthquake was not really an earthquake. Uiharu is asked by her teacher to help a new transfer student out and to be her roommate. Uiharu says yes so some interesting plot stuff can happen to her too. Uiharu introduces her new roommate Haruue to her friends and they all move Haruue’s junk inside the small room. Kuroko and Uiharu have to go to a Judgment/AntiSkill meeting so Saten and Misaka show Haruue around town. Then there is an overlap of Saten talking about a rumor of a supernatural force attacking the town in the form of an earthquake and what is really going on during the meeting. Telestina (suspicious person seen many episodes ago and probably the one who helped out Big Spider) steps up and explains that RSPK syndrome is what is causing the earthquakes. Basically the espers going berserk with their powers again. Shocking.

Photobucket

MOG FLASHBACKS!!! X_X No bug catching!

Uiharu is eager to spend time with her new friend while Konori is suspicious of how AntiSkill is handling the situation. The junior high girls take Haruue to the arcade where she can showcase how special she is and how she's never done anything ever. Uiharu spends a lot of time not being able to put on a yukata and talking about how she is helping Haruue because she used to suck at life too. The girls then go watch fireworks and take part in a festival and it is all Endless Eight again. Konori is finding sneaky stuff on the internet and Haruue starts clutching her necklace and wondering where SHE is. She runs off and Uiharu chases after her. There is an earthquake and Telestina in a weird space suit saves her. Haruue is all sad, Harumi is seen clutching the same necklace, and Telestina smirks evily. The end.

Photobucket

I was thinking this was Haruue's power. It was disappointing to learn it was a normal suit. :(

Look at all that beautiful plot! Isn’t it magical!

Photobucket

Winning is overrated anyway. X_X

So let’s talk about Haruue. We saw her before during one of the boring fillery side character stories. I believe the one with the AntiSkill Tsuduri being useless. I think Haruue lost her necklace in that episode and Tsuduri wasn’t able to find it because she sucks. Overall Haruue reminds me of another character that might have gotten on my nerves. Her name might have been Hyoka XD Haruue a bit loopy and doesn’t seem to know what is going in the real world. Think of the poor whack a moles. She did overdo it with the grabbing the necklace bit though.

Photobucket

It's not obvious at all....

So now let’s talk about who Haruue really is. When we first saw her briefly in that past episode I thought her weird hairstyle hinted at her being Jufuku’s sister. But with her continuous “wow I have never done this” raised a red flag. Almost like she is an alien visiting Earth for the first time. OOOOOOOOR if Harumi is holding your matching necklace oh so tight….someone who has been in a coma for a really long time.

So Haruue is one of Harumi’s kids that got tested on and went splat. Probably the main one. Not much of a secret there. XD

Photobucket

Okay we get it! You sucked. Life moves on.

I could have done without Uiharu’s over the top….craziness. Wasn’t she tired from going crazy last episode? I think she was stretching her issue at sucking in Judgment to being the new transfer kid. But meh people often try to find ways to connect with people when their stories really aren’t that similar. But of course I find the entire concept of being close to a person after knowing them for 5 hours pretty weird anyway.

Photobucket

I think I understand this better than the AIM stuff. But still being an esper sounds so dangerous....

Confusing terms are once again confusing! But now they are bringing back the AIM fields to explain the RSPK syndrome. Basically (in Tenchi terms) it means that one esper can’t control their power very well and sorta releases a bit of power unconsciously. This happens naturally and all the time like the AIM field. But what is happening now is when multiple esper users have a RSPK attack at the same it creates these earthquakes. Now…to me this sounds like a serious issue and would make me want to keep esper users separated if accidents like this can happen. But no let’s gather up all the esper users in one spot so this occurrence can happen more often yay!

Photobucket

Right....rumor control...

I love how AntiSkill and Judgment want to limit the rumors on these earthquakes. A day late and a dollar short like always. But I am not sure what Konori thought was so weird about how the team was handling the situation. Considering she is just Judgment and she didn’t hear how AntiSkill was handling the matter her burning the midnight oil made no sense to me. GRANTED SHE IS RIGHT….still it made no sense to me.

Photobucket

That is not a big hint at all!!! Never....

Telestina came off a little strong. But since she has been shown in other episodes acting a little shady it shouldn’t come as a surprise that she is the bad guy. I guess somewhere in that mess Konori caught on to something. But since everyone missed Telestina’s evil smile in the space suit (WTF was that space suit) no one is going to suspect her of wrong doing in the next episode. The real mystery is why she is making the espers have RSPK syndrome. I doubt her reasoning is as awesome as Harumi’s.

Photobucket

Roger that, next week will be just as amazing!

I like this episode and where the plot is going. Please keep this pace up for next week (although I think at this point they have to!). Except with 50 percent less Uiharu maybe?

Ookami Kakushi Episode 7

Photobucket

Don't make me cut you!

A word to the wise: If you are feeling under the weather/sick/like you are about to pass out, don’t work 10 hours the very next day. Very bad idea was bad and tiring.

So perhaps I was a bit grumpy and sniffly when I was watching Ookami Kakushi. Or maybe I am just that much closer to not caring anymore about this series. In any event….short post will be short.

And this time I actually mean short! XD

Synopsis to fill up space: Hiroshi tries to convince himself last night was just a dream but it wasn’t. Nemuru and Isuzu are both absent from school. Kaname tries to fill in the void by meeting Hiroshi in the library to talk about the same stuff they already know about the wolves. She vows to go to the public library to find out about the Wolf Rhyme. Mana is getting violin lessons from Kaori despite the fact that she is very sick. Mana is all woe is me about it. The creepy dude hanging out in front of Kaori’s house is named Sakaki. Kaori and Sakaki went to the same college but now she has given up her dreams she is no longer allowed to leave the town. Sakaki is then seen talking to Hiroshi later about how the wolves killed his fiancée and he is here for revenge. Elsewhere in town Kaname is kidnapped because the town was stupid enough to leave valuable information at a public library. She is brought to a holding cell that is next to a room housing the chick that Issei kissed before he died. She reveals that Issei made her a God after kissing her. Isuzu is seen checking out of the hospital later and Nemuru looks happy about that. The end. Oh and some dude meets with Sakaki to get rid of Hiroshi. Now the end.

Photobucket

Something is wrong?! SAY IT AIN'T SO!!!!

Hiroshi gets the boring hero award of 2010. Everything out of his mouth is blah. Blah blah blah. He is two steps behind the rest of the cast and 10 steps behind what the viewer already knows. It is very frustrating watching him fail so hard at life.

Photobucket

Super secret meetings are always held in restaurants.

That being said I am either really confused or really stupid. Sakaki is the doctor right? I am getting confused as Sakaki is busy being a Kaori stalker, a pretend doctor, a supportive ear to Hiroshi, and now a double agent to random wolf dude. Go luck with keeping that all straight Sakaki. I sense his death in the immediate future as he is double dipped too far in his revenge scheme.

Photobucket

I'm glad she got kissed....

College aged Kaori was an ASS! Drop out of college because you have to work to eat? ASS! Bipolar crazy person. Also look as she slowly falls apart. Woe is her and Mana.

Photobucket

Please repeat it all to me again!

Everything that Kaname said in the school library made me want to stab myself in the eye. It was like she kept repeating the same thing over and over again and Hiroshi kept going MOG for real? THE WOLVES MAY NOT BE WOLVES?! Oh wait they are a special kind of wolves? OR WAIT WEREWOLVES?!?!?! This is all interesting and awesome.

Photobucket

Instead of not having a document that tells all your secrets it is easier to guard said secrets. That must be it.

As is the fact that this super secret group of wolves would be DUMB enough to leave their….whatever in the library for Kaname to find. Note to all super secret groups out there: Keep all your secret stuff out of libraries. If high school kids can find your documents anyone can.

Photobucket

Yes keep on letting out all the secrets!

The real interesting details come at the end of the episode (and no not Isuzu checking out of the hospital) when Kaname was taken to her surprisingly pose dungeon. Now another note to super secret groups: keep your hostages separated. Issei’s little girlfriend blabbed some pretty big secrets because she is stupid and because you didn’t tell her not to. So now Kaname knows that you wolfs are really Gods and one can become a God through a simple kiss. Good job wolves.

Photobucket

I want to be a stalker too!

It is kinda interesting that one can become a God so easily. One would think the process would be a bit more special and actually require some thought. But maybe that is why Nemuru goes around killing fallen wolves because the rules are too easily broken. The girlfriend calling Kaname a fallen was interesting.

So the way to stay a super secret group is to not put your legends in a library, keep your hostages separated, and make it so that random people don’t get turned into your people by a simple kiss. Next week the super secret group will accidentally transform in public woohoo!
