Mirai Nikki episode 10

XO Guess what folks?! It is house guest time! It is perfect timing since I just worked up the energy to put all the plushies into the plushie nets today. It is stressful you know. One wrong move and the entire net just falls to the ground and there is an unhappy Tenchi raging all over the place. Plus I rather just have them all on the guest bed and call it the plushie bed instead.

But yes. House guest. My cats will be displeased for a few hours then they will be like gives us noms and attention. Because that is what they like to do when people come over. Act like I have neglected them all their lives and they have never seen food. Children don’t make me show you some tough love because momma doesn’t play games. Now go get some string so we can be entertained!

WEEEE! Yuki must be so happy!

In the meantime it is Mirai Nikki time! Episode 10 is already up WOOHOO! Spoilers for the reveal behind Minene’s clothing choices!

X__X Thanks to a storm last night this is getting posted before work. Silly rain. Hopefully it is not as scary as it was yesterday. At least while I am working.



Episode Summary: Yuno and her crazy self are digging a huge hole in the backyard but she has no idea why she is doing it. Then POOF it is flashback time. It is the beginning of the game and Minene is trying to escape from 3rd. He proves to be a bit much for her and she injuries herself while escaping. A policeman walks by and recognizes Minene as a terrorist. He takes her into custody and runs away from 3rd with her. Mur Mur is watching this all play out on her big screen TV and tries to make it more shoujo manga like. Minene does start showing a vulnerable side, especially when the cop won’t let her potty alone. Due to a toilet malfunction Minene is forced to change clothes AKA into the dress she is seen in later. Eventually they manage to do some damage to 3rd and escape. Mur Mur thinks she will get her shoujo manga ending now but Minene shots the cop and leaves. Given how harsh she has grown up this was inevitable. Back in current time Yuki thinks he is meeting Akise to go to a movie or something. Real friend type stuff. Only Yuno shows up instead. It turns out that Akise tricked both Yuki and Yuno into spending the day together at a bridal show. Despite the fact that Yuno was ready to kill Akise last week she goes along with this crazy plan.

Isn't this going too far? I think they might actually be married. X__X

Yuki keeps thinking how cute and fun Yuno looks but knows he can’t fall in love with her because of that room. He thinks he should tell Yuno that he doesn’t really love her but he slowly starts getting affected by this fake wedding stuff. He eventually starts chanting to himself that he wished he never opened that door/wish the room didn’t exist. The day is a whirlwind of dresses, food, and even a fake ceremony at the end. Yuki notices that one of the people running the event is married to cop dude Keigo. Yuki ends up carrying a tired Yuno home. He finds that Akise tricked them both in order to search Yuno’s home. Yuki panics as he thinks Akise has found THE ROOM. Only Akise opens the door and the room is GONE. Yuno was digging the hole in the ground to push the room into the hole. Only Yuno gets confused and insists that Yuki has never been here before. She is all happy and runs off to make snacks. Later Akise explains that Yuno is so damaged she has changed her own memories to function. Without Yuki Yuno would surely go off the deep end. At a meeting Keigo says while the dog serial killer has been murdered they still need to catch HIS murderers, Yuki and Yuno. Present at the meeting is the cop that Minene shot before. And then Mur Mur decides that Minene needs a new hairdo. THE END!

This episode was….weird. Not bad just…weird. Weird indeed. Also did it get up and subbed fast or what? Yay subbers!

Mur Mur is crazy. Also I think her name is odd. Must have something to do with the plot.

Okay so the whole Mur Mur talking over Minene and random cop’s scene was a bit much. I understand what she was doing, trying to make Minene’s life like a shoujo manga. But as a result I couldn’t hear what was going on. Unless Mur Mur was saying all the words they were saying and it was never explained who random cop was. Mur Mur said it was a long lost lover but I didn’t get that feeling from watching the episode.

So I just went back and tried to go blind by reading the very tiny print on her phone. It appears to me that she did not know who that dude was and he just knew who she was as Keigo is after her AKA she is a terrorist. We still haven’t been shown what terrorist crap Minene was up to. We just have seen her with bombs and a past life in a war zone country. Obviously Keigo cannot be trusted as he is out to get everyone….like he SHOULD BE so maybe this was just a lie to get Yuno and Yuki on his side.

Also this part was gross. :(

That all being said I thought random cop was acting a little too touchy feely. I guess that is what made me question if they knew each other prior to this episode. But he was like see you can be girly and Oh you do have a cute side. Like wtf was that all about? Typically when someone is all being terroristy and the other person is being a cop there isn’t much time to show your vulnerable side. I guess they are trying to slip in another romance into the story? I don’t know, it came off weird. Maybe it will make more sense later.

WTF IS THIS?! Is there not a crazy man trying to kill you!?

I wasn’t really feeling Minene being cute and innocent around random cop dude. Quite frankly I think she should have killed him during the bathroom scene. I mean…I would have been embarrassed out of my mind too. But I am not a girl who grew up in a war torn country and now runs around being a terrorist. My heart is not made of brave. It is made of embarrassment and fear. Minene should have said Eff this and stolen his gun right then and there.

But Minene made up for it later when she shot him after he helped her escape from 3rd. Mur Mur does not get her happy ending now. Random cop was like yes I can either get a bonus or a date out of this and BAM in the chest. Of course he was wearing a bullet proof vest and he is seen at the end of the episode. Minene might have been all gangsta but she needed to shoot him in the head to make it effective. So while she had her moments being all girly and cute she was like HAHA no my heart is made of lead losers. WEEEEE!

This is shocking?! Just as shocking as random rain in Florida.

Keigo turning out to be the not so nice cop doesn’t surprise me at all. Maybe because I never trusted him at all? I am not a very trusting person. XD I bet Yuno never trusted him either. I thought maybe he would wait until a few more Diary Users were taken out but maybe it makes more sense for him to do it now. Maybe he has watched Survivor and knows that known pairs are pretty dangerous. Of course to make this plan work well he would need to kill Minene too as she knows his identity. I thought he was keeping her around either because he is really her dad or he was using her to do his dirty work/go after Yuno and Yuki independently. If he is going to go after them so soon I wonder where that leaves Minene in his plans.

I think Yuno is constantly crazy, just the levels fluctuate.

Before we got a flashback into Minene nearly dying before episode 1 we saw Yuno. And she was acting crazy. But since this is normal behavior for her no one probably questioned why she was digging a huge whole in the back yard. I was like okay who did she kill now? I have read that I should expect INSANE things from Yuno in the future. Like she hasn’t done insane things NOW. X___X Well then people.

The whole bridal event show was weird. It reminded me of that episode of Sailor Moon that revolved around a wedding dress. Just…weird. The thought of the vendors allowing the two teenagers to take part in this event seemed out of place. Of course the event itself seemed out of place given the fact I didn’t see any money exchange hands and everything LOOKED expensive considering these kids weren’t in a position to make down payments or anything.

YAY FOR FRIENDSHIP!

OF COURSE if this was all an event to introduce Yuki to other Diary Users then it makes sense. I thought that is where it was going but the connection ended up being about Keigo and his wife. Oh and Akise planned the entire thing. So maybe it was just random and weird.

Right Yuki. Please tell the crazy person that you don't love her. That will end well. You probably already did that and she restarted this timeline. XD

I like that Yuki knows he made a huge mistake. But I think he needs to keep lying. Telling Yuno that HEY the girlfriend thing was a lie will only end in tears. The tears that are squeezed out of Yuki’s eyes as he dies a horrible death and he is thrown in the big hole in the backyard. Just keep up the lie Yuki. Keep up the lie and then STAB Yuno when you two finally “win” the game. Like today she will be so happy to just be with you killing her after post victory sex should be easy WEEE!

Why would you go into a room with caution tape all over it?!

I do like that Akise was so sneaky in getting into the house. He got Yuno so excited about the day she totally forgot to check her phone. Not that it would matter because that is the downside of her phone. She doesn’t see HER future. She sees Yuki’s future 10 minutes ahead of time. So she would have only realized that Akise was in the house 10 minutes before they got home anyway and homegirl was asleep. Yuno was not on top of her game because she was too happy to spend time in a wedding dress with Yuki. Akise is a genius.

But…why did Akise know to look in the house for dead bodies? That is something only Yuki and Yuno should know right? Akise is not a Diary User but seems to know a lot about them. HMM folks HMM!

TADA!!!! No more room so all is well Yuki!

I do love that Yuki was thinking about the room just disappearing so he could feel free to fall in love with Yuno. Then POOF it disappeared. The room and the memory from Yuno’s mind. It is magical right? Nope. Not buying that Yuno didn’t know that was what Yuki was thinking. She is Homura remember? The timeline started to go weird and she knew she messed up with not hiding the room better. Maybe next time NO CAUTION TAPE! But yes I do think this is all an act and that Yuno knows why there is a hole in her backyard and that Yuki has come to her house before.

I don’t know if that will backfire or not for Yuno. On one hand Yuki was trying to forget about the room so he could really love Yuno. And I am sure with the bodies being gone it can be easier to think like a crazy person. But on the other hand….this just proves that Yuno is unstable. It is hard to be in love with people who are unstable. Not too hard to use them for your advantage though.

Not that any of this matters. Before Yuki can think too much about his current situation he will be neck deep in cops trying to kill him. Yuno will save the day and Yuki will once again be thankful that the stalker is on his side. Ah young love.
