My cat is doing very adorable things on the couch. I think she is trying to make me forgot that she was all up on my stickers earlier. That was greatly slowing down the scrapbook process. But now she is all I LOVE YOU MOMMY! And I think it is working.
I think I might be watching one too many shows this season. I am used to having a set (sorta set anyway) schedule of when I blogged shows. Like XX show on Monday, WW show on Tuesday, ect. But this season since I am watching so many I might just say heck to it and blog when I can. Depending on my mood and what I want to watch first. Maybe two shows a day or maybe just wait to the weekend to get them all. But I will keep on blogging unless something becomes unbearable. XD Just don’t expect a set schedule.
Kimi to Boku episode 2 is up now. And it better step it up. Way too many shows this season for me to watch meh or just okay. Spoilers for crazy teenagers throwing rocks at each other.
Episode Summary: Kaname is at the vending machine when he discovers something awful. His mother…did not pack him chop sticks for his lunch. Yuta and Yuki try offering up solutions to his problem. It is a very critical moment in the show. Shun is on the roof waiting for his friends. He is slowly starving to death as the drama goes on. A young girl runs up to the roof out of breath and with a scrapped knee. Shun offers her a Band-Aid but she takes off after making an ugly face. Shun chases after her like a crazy person through the school. He finally gives her the Band-Aid and makes his way up to the roof. There everyone has already started eating lunch. Said crazy girl watches the boys as they eat lunch and reminisce about kindergarten days. After school Shun finds a note in his locker. It says he will have bad luck forever or something equally as terrible. Soon bad things do start happening to Shun but it’s all because the crazy girl causes them. She tries to frame him with pornos, causes him to buy coffee instead of his drink of choice, and nearly trips him in the process. Along the way his friends are caught up in drama. When they try to catch up they end up getting framed for crazy things too.
After a few days of crazy the boys witness the girl being insane on other people trying to help her. Obviously her small size has made her all bitter about people helping her. For some reason this makes Shun think back to kindergarten when he tried to save the tulips from the winter frost. Kaname had to explain to him that despite their looks tulips were awesome and strong. Things come to a head when crazy girl throws a rock and it hits Yuta in the head. Shun chases after her and says not to involve his friends anymore. Said girl (Sato) has a bit of a meltdown as Kaname figures out that she really LIKES Shun and was happy that instead of being put off by her awful behavior he chased after her a second time. Things get all weird when Sato starts crying because it is all true and Shun still has no idea what is going on. Yay for being special. THE END!
Well that was….um….
Boring. Sorry. I guess after watching The Walking Dead and the crazy Housewives of New Jersey anything would be boring right? Except for THE THING! XD Counting down the days baby.
But yes this episode was kinda boring. I remember though there were boring moments in Lucky Star. The very first episode they were talking for hours about the proper way to eat a dessert. So I have weathered my fair share of slice o life animes that have boring moments. Don’t think I was ever bored with K-On!! though.
I really wasn’t feeling the drama behind the forgotten chop sticks. I was trying to figure out how that would be possible. I mean…Japanese moms are perfect right? XD But mistakes happen. Just not to teenage boys obviously. Because eating in the cafeteria would be too weird! Why don’t you have a spare? WHAT WILL HAPPEN NEXT. Or no…it was a big to do about nothing.
Then I thought to myself sometimes me and my friends are not that exciting either. And we make issues out of small things because we are bored and we need to be entertained. So maybe it was an interesting adventure for them. Just not for the viewers.
Most of the episode was devoted to some crazy girl torturing Shun. Her name is Sato. And she is insane. I mean I know that little children pick on the people they like but give me a break. This is high school. The only torturing now should be from teenage girls onto other teenage girls. Just no folks.
I guess that is what made this episode boring. Sato was running around hurting Shun for no reason and it took a lot for Shun to get angry. It took Yuta getting hurt for Shun to really ask Sato what was up. Usually when someone offers another person a Band-Aid it doesn’t turn into warfare. Just craziness.
That girl was tiny though folks. I mean….like elementary school tiny. I don’t blame people for trying to help her out. People offer to hold the door open for me all the time and I don’t try to kill them. And people were only offering to help her AFTER she hurt herself. People allowed her to try on her own and when she got hurt they tried helping. What is wrong with that? Just insane folks. This girl is insane.
The side story about the tulips in kindergarten was special to say the least. I do see why Shun would try to save the flowers. That was a cute thing for a kid to do. But the way it was tied into the episode was weird to say the least. I hope other scenes from their childhood are shown and with stronger tie ins. Weird little 5 year olds.
There were a few OH SNAP moments of yaoi. Yuta was looking on at Sato’s….almost love confession and it was like he was jealous. Was he touched that Shun was trying to save his flower? Hmm Flower. In any event he was portrayed to act a little…kinder to Shun. Mr. Twin brother was in the bathroom throwing up from the smell of make-up and perfume? HMM I wonder how he would handle a relationship with a woman. Interesting.
So…yeah. Not very exciting and at times the art seemed to be a bit lazy. But I do appreciate the twins wearing different shirts so I can tell them apart. Has a good night!
