Kimi to Boku episode 13

Happy New Year plus one day!!! Has 2012 been amazing for you yet? I hope so because it is has only been one day so far and people probably spent most of it sleeping. XD I know I did. I can’t believe how late everyone stayed up…..

But even though it is 2012 I still got 2011 animes to post about! I was hoping I was going to hit 365 posts last year but due to me having a social life I guess that was a silly goal. I nearly did it though! Just Christmas put me and my wallet behind. But in my new DEEP BREATH blog when I have time frame of mind it will be okay.

Photobucket

Last episode?! But I have so many more juice boxes to drink!

Kimi to Boku episode 13. Last episode of this season. Let’s blog this!

Episode Summary: Chizuru gets his usual drink of choice from the magical vending machine. This is too much for the twins to handle as he should be experimenting with different drinks. While Kaname talks about how stupid this all is Shun runs up. Apparently they have to a work study thingy at their school and Shun has arrived with the list. On the paper is their old nursery school. The boys decide to go there maybe in part to embarrass Kaname. Kaname threatens everyone to keep the Kaori thing under wrap from Chizuru or he will kill them. They arrive at the school and right away a kid starts throwing rocks at them and beating them with an umbrella. Shun gets his hair caught in a tree and the kid stops his rampage to help Shun the GIRL out. Kaori eventually comes out and says OH HI BOYS thanks for coming to help me. She introduces the boys to all the kids and leaves them alone as she skips out of the room. All the girls fall in love with the boys except Kaname who is tortured over his glasses.

Photobucket

Shun...did something wrong? Write this down folks!

Kaname ends up playing house with one of the twins (err….probably Yuki) and hates it the entire time. Chizuru eventually joins in and tries to bring the trouble maker (named Ken) into the game. But Ken clearly likes the little girl in question and is jealous the twin is getting the connection. He makes a mess of the game and runs off. The high school boys hide out in the bathroom because working with kids is pretty hard. Later they are rounded up to eat snacks with the kids. Ken tries to make things better with the little girl he likes but the rest of the class picks on him. He steals ALL the cookies of the world and runs off. Kaname runs after him despite kicking him in the balls. Kaname helps Ken calm down and realizes that he is a nice kid deep down. Kaname helps Ken make up with this little friend. Later when the boys are leaving Ken repays the favor by pushing Kaori into Kaname. Ken wants Kaname to be his big brother so everyone says AWWWW. Shun jokes about it on the way home and also lets it slip that Kaname had a crush on Kaori. Shun’s life is in danger, the twins are making fun of the situation, and Chizuru is cackling like a crazy person. All is well in the world THE END!

So apparently I have been VERY CONFUSED the whole time. I thought the person who came to the school festival was the one Kaname had a crush on. That it was the older sister of the neighbor friend girl. I did think she LOOKED young but I guess in my head she could still be…..28? 28 being the minimum age should could have been.

Photobucket

Err....I see it? Okay not really....

But no. I guess that girl just REMINDED her on Kaori. I guess that picture was just to confuse me. Greatly. And it worked. But when Kaori came on the screen I thought….OH X___X. She hasn’t aged very well in 10 years has she? XD That was kinda mean wasn’t it? I am sure she just looks worn around the edges because she works with kids all day. And her haircut was unfortunate.

Photobucket

So much confidence in the untrained youth....

I think it was weird that the kindergarten allowed 5 guys to come in and “help”. Actually I think it was weird the guys wanted to do it. X__X Just seems like a lot of work to do (for them) and I would think that the job places would have to be something in the field they were interested in. I am not saying that guys aren’t capable of watching children. Just that normally teenage boys lack the experience to deal with children and these boys can’t even watch a TV show without getting bored.

So I guess I was surprised that they were excited about going back to their old Kindergarten. They didn’t strike me as the sentimental type. Or maybe they really thought watching kids was going to be an easy way to complete the project. Who knows.

Photobucket

Dude you are 5 minutes too early with the tears.

Chizuru having a pout attack was sorta humorous. Because while he was justified in feeling left out….I don’t think the guys were leaving him out yet. X__X I mean I bet they could have gone on and on but they just started talking. I can see Chizuru being all over dramatic but he was a bit premature with his pouting.

Photobucket

Where are the teachers?!

What kind of daycare were they running anyway? The boys get there and NO ONE is watching the kids outside? I has been to Japan and from what I can see things are pretty….well overboard in safety. No pictures are allowed to be taken anywhere near the school and they are locked up like jails. No no our boys just walk on in and the kids are running around with rocks and crap. Get yo money back parents. Robots would be better!

Photobucket

So many creepy smiles X____X

In terms of the kids….X___X so special. Of course I was the most well behaved kid ever so all other kids in the world seem pretty much insane. XD But is it typical for kids to fall in love at first sight with such older people? Crazy kids.

Photobucket

I'm just misunderstood! Plus I have cookies!

Ken was pretty much a brat. But I guess he had some endearing qualities to him. I think he might have been rough around the edges and the other kids took advantage of that and blamed him for everything. Like it was clear Ken saving all his cookies to give to the little girl but NOOOO since he was a brat in some other ways he obviously stole the cookies. Not sure what was with his umbrella crazy moment earlier in the show but he was jealous when his girl was in love with all the older boys. Easy to understand but since he is 5 that makes sense.

Photobucket

Look at Kaname being responsible.

Kaname being the reluctant big brother was slightly touching. I think. He has been acting like that the entire show. All of them have. They act like they don’t care about each other but in the end they will help each other out and support each other. So Kaname is telling the kid he is a brat while trying to help him. Typical boy behavior.

Photobucket

AWWWW! Just what happened to Kaname so many years ago.

In the end this episode tried to tie in the past with the present while giving Kaname a headache. The boys have fond memories of the past, can see themselves in the younger generation, and that they have a bright future ahead for them all. Or maybe I am being too flowery. The twins were being lazy, Chizuru found people he connected with on an intellectual level, Shun was being…responsible, and Kaname hates his life. So a pretty typical episode? XD

Photobucket

I will miss the cats though!

There is going to be a season two of this series. I guess this show was okay. A lot of people thought it was grand. I am not trying to be sexist or anything. I actually wanted this show to be great so I could say SEE cute boys doing cute things too! But I guess I was having a hard time understanding how boys deal with friendships. Le sigh. We shall see if I stick around for a season two.

Kimi to Boku episode 11

I’m done. Just DONE!

Just kidding!!!! Because I am not my lame co-workers. I say co-workers and not ex co-workers because no one can get fired at my store…except possibility me. But everyone else is free to throw a tantrum, drive off, and then come back 10 minutes later and work. Or leave after 3 hours of working and still have a job. So weird.

Photobucket

Err...we'll go with that...

Despite the fact that it is not cold outside I am freezing. X__X Hiding under my blankets as we speak. So I shall try to blog some anime before my fingers break off into little icicles. Kimi to Boku episode 11 has been out forever apparently. Let me blog that! Spoilers for BREAD!!!

Photobucket

Mom violence!!!

Episode Summary: Yuki is at a convenient store when someone comes by and buys the bread he was thinking of getting. He seems captivated by the “thief’s” hair. At school the next day the boys are surprised to see that the roof is closed off due to paint. This excites Chizuru as he feels life has been boring since after the festival and looks forward to eating in the cafeteria. The menu seems to impress the boys and they all get food despite the fact they have bento boxes. Chizuru seems to think one of the cafeteria ladies is hot. Yuki explains the reason why he didn’t get a lunch was he has to eat his convenient store bread. He is trying to collect enough stickers to earn a free plate. He doesn’t think he can earn enough if they are going to eat in the cafeteria from now on though. Chizuru suggest they all go on sticker duty and he will go first. There is some brief drama when other students pick on the cafeteria lady (Kayo) but she is able to protect herself. Yuki goes to buy something at the school store only to see that Kayo and her mom run that as well. Yuki realizes she is the bread thief and wants her sticker. Crazy ensues but she is does not give up her prize sticker.

Photobucket

Get some big ticket items! Aim for the stars. Aim for a 4!

Later Kayo and Yuki are at the same convenient store where she laughs at his sticker attempts. But despite that they seem to have a nice conversation about collecting things and such. Kayo catches a sticker thief which embarrasses Yuki. The next day at school Chizuru is so sad everyone is eating delicious food while all he has is bread. Despite the fact that it was Chizuru’s idea Shun shares his entire lunch with the boy. Masaki comes and sits with the boys so Shun can help her with her homework. Chizuru accidentally gets food all over Shun and runs to wash it in the sink. While Shun protects his naked torso in the bathroom Chizuru asks if Shun likes anyone. Shun says no which sorta makes it awkward haha! After school Yuki goes to buy a notebook when Kayo makes him help wipe down tables. Her finger is cut yo! She talks about how she needs to get out of there fast so she can make it home to her mother. She is all the woman has so it is important to eat meals together. Yuki and Kayo talk about how they don’t plan on using the plate and Kayo pays Yuki for his time with one sticker. Yuki talks to Yuta later, about how he doesn’t think Kayo is pretty and such. HMM. THE END!

Photobucket

So much excitement......crazypants.

I am very, very confused on one…main issue in this episode. And that would be the boys WANTING to eat cafeteria food. They wanted to eat it so much they gave up the food they already had on the first day! I have no idea what that was about. Like you have perfectly good lunches and you are going to throw them away to eat something else? Wasteful.

Photobucket

Just so many choices. I remember there being TWO choices. And it was out of a pool of like 8 menu items!

But putting that aside during their whole Sticker Duty thing no one really wanted to get the bread because that meant they wouldn’t get the lovely tasty cafeteria food. Now I may have mentioned this once or 392832 times but the convenient store food in Japan is GOOD. Like I had some bread for breakfast every day and my husband bought tons of snakes daily. And we found them to be all reasonably priced too. Oh and we have been to high school too. Not a Japanese high school of course. But the only thing I remember being WOOHOO excited about was the REAL chicken nuggets day. Oh and that holiday meals. The rolls were good. So I guess I can’t imagine how AMAZING high school food can be or why someone would want to eat it. That whole part came across as silly to me.

Photobucket

Ah happy times in Japan.

But something I did relate to was the excitement of collecting a special item. When I was in Japan the Lawson items were K-On!! related. Only I think I lucked out on how easy the promotion was as all I had to do was buy two products and automatically got a free fan. But later on in Tokyo I saw how some people would go out and buy all the food products thus getting on the free fans only to sell them later. So I can only imagine how competitive people can get when they have to work harder for an item. Some people might see it just as a silly plate. But once that plate because limited edition and hard to find well then…it must be worth it!

Photobucket

Chizuru is so helpful....until he complains about it later.

So while that part seemed silly, especially since the collector in question didn’t seem that excited about it…..I thought it was fun to watch. Instead of going out to eat with your friends one would have to devote extra money to buy random noms. Every day would be a different kind of issue: go with a known item that has a low point value or go with a new high point food item that is more expensive and unknown. Mysteries people! People who need a little excitement in their lives often do things like this, think ordinary events are amazing. XD

Photobucket

I will cut you for a sticker!!!!

I am not sure what I think of Kayo. On one hand I think I like her. She is like COME BACK HERE WITH THAT STICKER! Sure it was over a small matter but sometimes it is the principal of the thing yes? My husband would have gotten embarrassed had I done that. He seems to think all confrontation is bad or something. So I liked when Kayo was on sticker patrol and I liked it when she told those high school kids to leave her alone or else. She doesn’t need any rescuing!!!!

Photobucket

Thanks mom for giving my stuff away. Much appreciation.

Also I am on her side about the whole Yuki asking for a sticker thing. Like what the hell was that about? Hi I don’t know you but give me your sticker? Um no that was a 4 pointer. Mom was not winning me over either. She thought her daughter was being petty with something that was HERS and she was trying to hook her up with a high school student. Just no mom. Hold your ground Kayo.

Photobucket

Work has to stop because there is a CUT on a FINGER! XO Horrible.

But then there were some moments when Kayo was weird. Like she cut her finger thus she couldn’t wipe the tables off? Why did mom go home if the work wasn’t done? Oh and why does a finger cut make her unable to do her job? She does have TWO hands right? It just seemed weird and awkward, like let’s put Yuki together with Cinderella as much as possible.

Photobucket

I don't see what is so appealing about her anyway.....

Chizuru fighting for Masaki is a bit sad. Especially in light of the fact that Shun has no desire to be with Masaki at all. I might feel bad for Masaki if she wasn’t so mean to Chizuru but I guess that is just high school drama. So sad.

Photobucket

Keep on crying it was your idea!!!

Just for the record I would not give up my entire lunch when someone had their own food. Not that I would want to eat an entire LOAF of bread as my meal but I would be smart enough to bring other things to go along with the bread. So Shun….maybe a few bites but your whole meal? I think not!

This show is weird. Weird high school experience all over the place. But now I want to be in Japan just so I can go to the convenient stores. I think they are having more K-On!! specials. XD

Kimi to Boku episode 10

BLEH!!! BLEH! Why does it not feel like Christmas to me? According to my husband it is because it is not the 25th yet. Love you too sweetie. But even though the house is decorated I am not feeling the holiday spirit. Maybe I need to wrap some presents or get the cards in the mail. And watch a TV special. Something to get me all festive!

But cold weather need not apply. I guess hot cocoa could make it feel more Christmasy but that’s okay. I like my Florida Christmas very much Home Alone 2. Maybe I will let it be 59 degrees. Maybe! But no rain! That is my final offer!

Photobucket

Oh crap it is a crime scene already!

I heard that the boys over in Kimi to Boku land are having a school festival? Maybe that will put me in a party mood! Let’s get started! Spoilers for everyone dressing up!

Photobucket

Err I think that was a compliment.

Episode Summary: Chizuru is not having a happy day. It is time for the school festival but something is not right for Chizuru. The school is busy getting last minute details done but Chizuru focuses on Masaki who is focused on Shun. Yuki, Kaname, and Chizuru all get dressed in their “ghost” outfits. Chizuru is dressed as some dead girl who haunts a bathroom and it is unclear who Yuki is supposed to be. Regardless the boys find Kaname’s traditional costume the most hilarious. The three boys have the earlier shift for the haunted house. Yet one of their first groups contains Masaki, Shun, and Yuta. Chizuru and Yuki abandon their post and explore the haunted house. Shun, Masaki, and Chizuru are scared out of their mind. Kaname is left alone to watch over his section of the haunted house and is not happy. Soon Shizuna and Hisako come along and Kaname is more unhappy. XD There is a random scene with some dude skipping Chizuru in line for the choco covered banana booth. Scary stuff folks. Yuki and Chizuru go to the Café de Crossdressing that Shun and Yuta are running. Everyone looks lovely in their outfits. Chizuru spies Masaki focusing on her lines for her upcoming play that night. Chizuru laughs at the fact that Masaki is a mouse and Chizuru is swiftly punished. Chizuru wants to know why Masaki is always so hateful and Shun gives Chizuru his take on what happened with Masaki. Chizuru is either jealous or sad, it is hard to tell.

Photobucket

It's like a game of Where's Waldo!

Kaname tries to spend more time with Shizuna and Hisako but the boys arrive and kidnap him so they can go see Masaki’s Cinderalla play. Masaki is nervous backstage and seeing Shun in the crowd does not make her feel better. Masaki has a few lines but her nerves get the best of her and she messes up. She is dejected after the play and runs away when Shun tries talking to her. Chizuru gives chase and follows her into the girl’s bathroom (he is still dressed like a girl). He tries cheering Masaki up by saying the other girls sucked too and that Shun thought she was awesome. Eventually after some tears he manages to cheer Masaki up. Masaki is happy that Chizuru cared enough to follow her into the bathroom. Chizuru thinks that he has a chance with Masaki but is heartbroken to see her still clinging to Shun later. Chizuru quickly plasters on a happy face and tries to cheer up the group. THE END!

XO What kind of school festival was that? Where is my K-On!! with cute girls having fun? All I see are a bunch of boys dressed as girls and one girl dressed as a mouse NOT having money. Crazy pants.

Photobucket

OH NO! Pink creature down!!!!

The most interesting part of this episode was the random pink creature…thing that kept popping up around school. Creature thing. Yeah I am not sure what it was. But it was everywhere. An army of pink creature things. Do schools have mascots? Everything is Japan seems to have a mascot or two. Maybe schools have them too. Regardless it was fun watching them appear out of nowhere and seeing their little nest at the end of the episode. They were taking naps but will roam again soon. Beware.

Photobucket

Maybe it is like Mary Poppin's bag and the room just holds everything in the universe!

I want to know how big these school rooms are in Japan. Because I have seen many of anime shows and a few real life school rooms and while they seem to be a decent size there are nowhere near the size of that haunted house. I am pretty sure the walls don’t retract like some hotels so….how was this room never ending.

Probably the same reason the decorations in the haunted house were elaborate and…well numerous. But this is an anime and logic and money issues don’t matter. Just go with the flow and be scared by the bathroom ghost. BE SCARED!

Photobucket

WTF are you doing here?!

I thought the cameo by Shizuna and Hisako was slightly pointless. But I guess Kaname needs some validation that people around him are insane and he can’t feel us viewers going AWWW for him. Maybe they were there to make sure Kaname leaves high school feeling utterly embarrassed. It is a bit of a bummer he didn’t have more time to spend with the girls but given all his responsibilities I am surprised he got to do anything. Still….they weren’t on screen long enough for them to matter. Just a bit of fillery fluff.

Photobucket

Such a modest princess too!

After seeing the haunted house I thought the Café de Crossdressers was a little lackluster. Actually I take that back. It looked like something a bunch of high school students would make. Limited materials and more focus was on the costumes rather than the interior of the café. I am a cruel person. XD For the record I thought Yuta looked so much better than Shun. Which is odd since Shun has spent most of this series being the feminine one.

Photobucket

Says the one dressed up like a girl?

I thought it was funny that the boys spent most of the episode running around in the costumes. No one really thought it was weird but Kaname and he wasn’t even wearing his costume anymore. Either the guys are really comfortable with who they are or they just don’t care. XD Probably more like just don’t care.

Photobucket

Poor scared little mouse :(

While I think Masaki takes over a lot of the show I can’t be too harsh on her in this episode. These school festivals look like a lot of fun to watch but maybe participating is stressful for many students. I know that I would not like going on stage in front of a huge group of people. Even if I had a few lines. I am not good at sewing…or painting. X__X So I am not sure what I would have done for the play. Just I would be a bit X__X myself about having to speak in front of my classmates and I would have fumbled along the way as well.

Photobucket

Girls are very hard to understand Chizuru. God's speed.

Despite the fact Chizuru snuck into the girl’s bathroom I think that he did a pretty decent job trying to comfort Masaki. I have been with my husband for almost 11 years and sometimes his comforting skills are lacking in finesse. Sometimes boys just don’t know what to say when comforting girls. So while he stumbled a bit I thought he tried. Sometimes the act of trying is more important than the results.

Photobucket

Broken heart :( Time for some emo music.

However the person I felt bad for at the end of the episode was Chizuru. Masaki didn’t mean to but in the bathroom she gave Chizuru a sliver of hope. That wow no one has ever chased after me in a bathroom before. To Chizuru that trumps Shun and his Band-Aid run. So in his mind he thought that Masaki had a moment. Which maybe they did. But for Masaki she will just see Chizuru as a friend instead of a nuisance.

Photobucket

Get back out there Chizuru and find a new love!

So while Chizuru may be annoying and cause general chaos it is a bit sad. He himself might not know he likes Masaki but knows this situation leaves him sad. So for that split second when he has his head down the desk and not acting his happy self I felt bad for him. Even more so when he forced himself to do that fake happiness routine. He was trying to keep spirits up but inside he was a sad teenage boy. Le sigh. The trials of young love.

Photobucket

Thank you for coming to the festival pink monster!

So that is the end of the festival from hell. X__X Did anyone have fun? Maybe the twins did. XD Maybe there will be more fun next week.

Oh and I don’t know what was up with the teacher and that random person. So…I have nothing to say about it? OH WAIT! Maybe he was the other volunteer that time at the daycare? Maybe that is it. Okay so now I know what is up with that other dude but…I don’t care? XD

Kimi to Boku episode 9

Three episodes in one day?! XO Am I a productive little couch potato or what? I would reward myself with more ice cream but it is a little late for that.

As a note I define a day as the time when my eyes open to the time I put my tired body into bed. That is a day to me even if it is the morning of the next day. Because typically the hours between 8 am and 11 am do not exist for me on most days. XD

Photobucket

A good morning to you too!!!!

So weeee! Let’s get this started so I can go to bed yay! Kimi to Boku episode 9. I sense there is a festival and stress in this post. So much stress!

Photobucket

School festivals bring out the crazy in people.

Episode Summary: Chizuru tries to greet Kaname in a weird way but he is ignored. Shun knows it is because Kaname has a lot of pressure on him being the class rep and student council president. It is festival time and it is slightly stressful. Yuta and Shun are in the same class and they are putting on a crossplaying café. The rest of the group is putting on a haunted house. Kaname has to deal with all his classmates whining to him about making signs and not wanting to do one simple task and blah blah. Kaname notice that Yuki and Chizuru are missing and he leaves to hunt them down. Yuta and Shun are busy making paper flowers when Yuta and Chizuru arrive with cardboard boxes. They act like they are rickshaw drivers. Shun and Yuki get in the cart to have a race to Mr. Teacher’s office. Only Yuki and Yuta cheat and Chizuru nearly dies in an attempt to catch up. Eventually Kaname finds them all and yells. He fetches the item he was originally sent other people to do. Oh and there is talk about how the home room teacher needs to get a girlfriend. Shun is pretty excited about crossdressing and no one questions that.

Photobucket

Take us away from the angry Kaname man!

Chizuru and Yuki are sent to make Kaname copies only they are too special to know how the copier works. Chizuru also pretends it is their first TIME. Kaname arrives upset he has to do the copying. On route to decide what roles people are going to do for the haunted house the other student council members arrive and report there is drama involving the use of the kitchen. He tells the other boys to make him the receptionist. Naturally they make him a ghost. When Kaname finds out he runs to kill Chizuru and Yuki. Shun and Yuta are wearing part of their dresses and they hide the two outlaws in their fabric. Kaname keeps demanding to look under their skirts which makes him look like a crazy pervert. Yuki then asks Kaname to copy some flyers for the manga club. Exhausted Kaname sits down to take a mini break when he realizes he forgot to get the curtains the lazy classmate didn’t get. He runs to get them but they have all been rented out. Kaname starts freaking out until Mr. Teacher comes and says other students asked for too many and surely he can get a few that way. Kaname seems a little sad that someone had to bail him out. Walking home Kaname learns that the manga posters got printed without him because they figured Kaname was too busy. Under stress Kaname hits Chizuru…and then everything just seems better after that. Okay. THE END!

PARTY ON! It’s festival time. WOOHOO HIGH SCHOOL!

Photobucket

And then all Japanese anime otakus DIED!

Seriously I don’t think my school or any school in America could really pull of a high school festival. Probably because most schools have portables and that ruins the Hallway type atmosphere that goes on between classrooms. But mostly because I don’t think we could have gotten everyone on the same page long enough to pull of like 2387 different events at one time.

Photobucket

Japan: Where teenage boys like to crossdress for fun.

But since this is Japan things are okay folks. Because their teenagers can save the world by pulling Voids out of people, outsmart other Diary owners, and become inhabited by a SnakeDemonThing to change everything. AND they manage to take public transportation every single day and not get lost. Go teenagers!

Kidding kidding. Maybe. I do happen to think Japan churns out some awesome things and a lot of places I visited while I was there were amazing. But I am not under the delusional impression it is magical and teenagers are perfect. Rather these animes are created to present an ideal high school experience for viewers missing that time in their life or people still in that time and can relate. With that said I do think that these slice of life shows are more accurate at portraying a typical teenagers life than let’s say 90210 or Saved by the Bell.

Photobucket

Maybe you could offer to HELP him?

I am not sure how I feel about Kaname being the class representative and student council president. I am sure it makes sense on some level for the same person to do the job. The most responsible person in the class becomes the leader and leading a class helps you lead a school. But how is one person supposed to manage their class AND their school during a time like this? Maybe have a senior who has been class rep before be the student council president or something. Way too much work for one person.

Photobucket

Whoever you are...I hate you.

But that is not the case in this anime. Kaname gets the pleasure of having the entire school whine to him. Not to mention he seems to be friends with two of the laziest people in school along with the most insane. He had to deal with a classmate that couldn’t fill out a piece of paper. A PIECE OF PAPER! I have my lazy days too but if one of my only responsibilities was walking to a classroom and asking for a few curtains I would be like WOOHOO!!! But no folks. Apparently that small responsibility was too much for that dude.

Photobucket

But my life sucks!!!

I don’t blame Kaname for forgetting about the curtains either. While many of the things Kaname was doing were minor things if you have an entire list of them it can get overwhelming. People going on and on in your face adds to the frustratingness of the day and Kaname forgot something. Something small his classmate should have done but I am not blame poor Kaname.

Photobucket

WTF was that all about Kaname?

I do however blame Kaname for hitting Chizuru. Is that boy annoying and special? Yes. Yes he is. But that doesn’t mean you should hit him for no reason. We don’t go around hitting annoying people. If we did I have no coworkers at all. We just ignore them, yell at them, and glare at them. No hitting to let out your frustration.

Photobucket

Ta....da.......time to get back in the classroom.

I am not sure what the box racing was all about. I think they all lost their minds with that and if I was the teacher I would have gotten them in trouble. Mainly because I am mean and stuff. It was very special to watch.

Photobucket

Guess they cut Shun's hair a little too soon.

Yuta and Shun being okay with the cross dressing café….was also weird. But this time in an amusing sorta way. I wonder who thought of it and how many people in the class had to agree to this insanity for it to go through. Yuta and Shun walking around in their lovely dresses was amazing. Well amazing is a strong word but you know.

Photobucket

Where are the words?! XO Stupid copiers!

Copiers can be difficult to use. So I don’t think I am going to tease anyone too terribly about that. I mean yes they were being special but once I had a copier make 50 copies of something when I just wanted one. Like wtf stupid copier?! I pressed the print button once! Then I couldn’t stop it and everyone was staring at me and it was horrible. I hate copiers.

Photobucket

Take me back to the ghetto.

Is there anything else to this episode? I don’t think so. It was a pretty basic episode. They didn’t show the festival itself so all I have to talk about is the set-up. And setting up can be boring. So poor Kaname. :( Everyone was mean to him. Now he can be a ghost and still hate everyone. THE END!

Kimi to Boku episode 8

So…I hate my job. I am thankful I have a source of income but I am not thankful with all the bull crap I have to put up with at work. On November 1st my boss wrote on the calendar we were closed Thursday and Friday. On Monday I made the CLOSED sign. So why is it I was iced out at work today for not showing up YESTERDAY?!

Because I work in the twilight zone. Do not come and visit me though. They tend to hold people hostage instead of letting them be tourists.

Photobucket

Where is the green one?!

So since I am deeply behind in blogging (maybe I should just say when I am caught up because this whole season I have been behind) let’s don this! We shall decorate trees tomorrow. Spoilers for Kimi to Boku episode 8. Enjoy!

Well obviously the drawing process cannot take place then.

Episode Summary: Yuki is approached by a younger classman. Turns out he is in the same club as Yuki and needs Yuki to draw 5 manga pages for their magazine. After being insane Yuki agrees and the kid Ryun is scarred for life. Yuki then tells the gang that he only reads manga and never draws it. As such all of them will draw one page each and combine them into a story. Kaname is the only one not on team Yuki but agrees to help anyway. They bounce around ideas including a love story between Kaname and his mom. It is finally decided that they will do a classic hero story. Yuta does the first page and it turns out that he is a gifted manga artist. He draws a beautiful first page with a hero and his two friends. Yuki does the second page…and draws the hero wearing normal clothes going to the convenience store and his two friends are dead. Everyone is like X___X but move on. Shun draws HUGE EYES and sparkles, trying to get the story back on track.

Was Yuki subconsciously trying to destroy the fail? XD

Ryun stops by to check on Yuki’s progress and Chizuru is touched by this older classmate younger classmate scenario. Chizuru decides that he wants to draw a high school drama instead and the story goes downhill. Kaname tries to make the story make some sorta of sense now that the hero got married in half a panel. But it turns out that Kaname really can’t draw and everyone laughs at him. Despite the crazy everyone seems to have had a good time. The episode rewinds to show Ryun’s side of the story. The club actually DOES meet and think that it is so cool that Yuki is a member despite not showing up. They think his contribution will make the magazine sell really well. Ryun has decided that Yuki is his hero and will make a hero manga based on Yuki. But each time he goes to draw Yuki he ends up acting like Yuki…..sadness. Ryun is a little crushed but when Yuki saves Ryun from a soccer ball everything gets better and Ryun has a hero again. YAY DREAMS! The end!

Was this episode about Yuki or was it about Shun? XD Because I was more focused on the crazy that was Shun the entire time.

Clubs doing something? I am shocked too.

I was pretty shocked to learn that the manga/anime club actually DID anything. Then I realized who we were dealing with and I was like oh okay. Maybe the club actually does do things and Yuta assumed since people weren’t there one day it was just a go home early club. I say this because the rest of the club seem to know each other. The girls were in sync with their SO COOLS. So I think there is more to the club that Yuki knows.

But considering he didn’t even want to join a club it doesn’t surprise me he didn’t even try to research what was going on. Silly Yuki.

I think it is slightly sad though that the other club members didn’t get Yuki in line. Or that they think he is cool or something. Yes I know that otaku (any kind of otaku) are looked down in Japan and that Yuki “breaks” the typical mold. I say all that while realizing that while I have met my fair share of stereotypical “weird” anime fans I have met quite a few that are *Gasp* normal. But that being said I guess….I GUESS it would be a positive thing if a “cool kid” was a member of a geek oriented club. And that it makes sense that they let Yuki run wild. I GUESS!

Poor Ryun indeed.

But poor Ryun. For whatever reason he idolize Yuki. Even after all his mangas about Yuki fail because Yuki is NOT a hero….Ryun cannot accept reality. Because Yuki saves him from a rogue soccer ball Ryun wants to cling to all hope that Yuki is a hero. Poor sad first year kid. Aren’t the cool kids supposed to be the ones on the sports teams or something? Not the kid who refuses to join a team and puts minimal effort into everything. Aren’t those the pot head kids?

Shun makes a good girl though.

Despite the fact that Yuki doesn’t deserve to be a hero in any manga…it was sure fun watching Ryun try. He tried. And yet Yuki’s personality is so strong the manga version of Yuki was lazy and beyond unhero like. But instead of making Yuki look like a chump….oh boy Shun. OH BOY! You were the pink power ranger. You were the girl in love with the bad boy. And you were the girl who was almost sold into prostitution. Just….so much sad. So much sad indeed.

I bet you will be super surprised!!!

But something that was more sad is that pathetic story that Yuki turned in to his club. X__X Can we say embarrassed much? I guess that is what the club gets for putting all their eggs in a basket THEY HAVE NEVER TALKED TO. Just….X__X

Of course in Yuki’s defense I can’t draw either. Maybe Yuki overlooked the objective of the club. I might have thought that it was just devoted fans coming together to talk about similar interests. But I can also see how it could be a club about MAKING your own anime/manga. I feel bad for Yuki but…maybe it was his own fault.

Maybe it should have stopped at page one....

That being said Yuta should have drawn all 5 pages. I am not a manga artist but I know it takes an entire MONTH to draw 30 pages and that is with people helping you. Randomly asking a bad artist to draw 5 pages in a such a limited time was never going to happen. How does this relate to Yuta? Because apparently he is awesome and needs to use his talent for good. I guess it makes sense that both twins have super abilities but are too lazy to really use them. Yuta…you are a genius. You took a vague idea and made a beautiful first page.

Photobucket

A fast decline indeed.

Yuki…..you….yeah. That was sad. You should have just made your brother draw something boring so the readers wouldn’t be WEEEE on page one and X__X on page two.

Shun sparkles at all time.

Shun sparkles in everything he does. At least he tried to make the best of a situation. Trying counts for a lot folks.

Someone has the delusions....

I think Chizuru talked a big game and his wasn’t all that great either. Almost like he wanted to incorporate every major manga genre into 5 pages and that was just not going to happen.

Photobucket

X____X He tried folks...

I was not expecting much from Kaname. He said he couldn’t draw, didn’t want to help, and did his best. And people laughing at him will not make him try and better his stick figures. Poor Kaname.

Kitty is not please with this manga.

I loved this episode though. Kaname was a bit meh to start off with but I don’t really blame him. Yuki did want him to do HIS work after all. But the guys came together and had a fun afternoon with silly antics. And the cats were fun too.

But everyone loves Pocky!

See. It only takes me three days to blog one anime episode WEEEE!
