Isshuukan Friends episode 7

Well happy birthday there Yuuki!

WEEE! Today should be a busy day. Well a productive day anyway. I got a house to clean, bags to pack, and anime to blog. So naturally I should stop surfing the internet doing useless things right? XD Hopefully anyway. Here is an anime post while I wrangle load after load into the washing machine. Isshuukan Friends episode 7 to be exact. Spoilers for summer time sadness and accidental confessions.

Yuuki is the nicest boy ever. So sweet and kind. So...we are just friends.

Episode Summary: Yuuki watches as Kaori talks in class to others, mainly Saki's friends but still. Yuuki is happy for this development but is a bit sad because the one on one time has decreased. He dramatically lays his head on his desk while Shougo is all x_x. During gym class Saki's friends Maiko and Ai ask Kaori what her relationship is with Yuuki. Kaori answers honestly, that he is her wonderful friend who is kind and wonderful. Maiko and Ai conclude that Kaori and Yuuki are too pure for words. The trio stop to watch Saki not jump at all during the long jump....yet Maiko praises the girl anyway. There is slight discussion about which boy is better, Shougo or Yuuki in which Saki does not partake in since she can't really remember the boys. Maiko decides that they are all friends now as Saki is friends with Kaori and calls Kaori by her first name. Kaori almost dies from shock and embarrassment. She tells Yuuki she made more friends and gave them the brief rundown of her memory issue. Since they have to deal with Saki all the time they seem to understand. Yuuki notes that Kaori must be filling her diary with more things besides him now....Trying to not be sad and dejected Yuuki asks for Kaori's math help after school and stresses the alone part. She seems okay with it as Yuuki has a nervous heart attack. They study inside the classroom and right off the bat Yuuki is all blushy faces. Shougo is still at school and as he walks by notes how lovely dovey everything is in there. Yuuki gets embarrassed blushy face and marches Shougo away, saying he wants ALONE time with Kaori and he doesn't need his help today. Shougo leaves Mr. Bipolar friend alone and continues on his way. He sees Saki in the hallway struggling with a poster. She seems to think she knows him but he refuses to give her his given name. Back in the classroom Yuuki is trying to study but is worried that Kaori is bored. He decides he needs to make things interesting for her by making small talk. You know about people's favorite numbers and what not. Kaori seems to have a reason for liking math but it makes her sad to think about it. Yuuki goes on and on about Kaori's good qualities including that she is cute. Yuuki embarrasses himself to death while Kaori tries to understand his meaning. As Kaori decides it is a good thing even though a boy has never said this to her before Yuuki is still blushy face. Especially when Saki reveals herself in the doorway. She asks Yuuki for help with the poster since she is short and she just made fun of him. Saki then proceeds to make the process of hanging a poster complicated and Yuuki almost falls as Kaori watches on. Maiko and Ai appear as Saki was supposed to meet them in the library. Yuuki promises to finish the task which makes him look lovely in Maiko and Ai's eyes.

Story of Shougo's life.

It's almost summer vacation and Shougo seems as excited as he possibly can get. Yuuki is worried as he won't see Kaori everyday. Shougo thinks he could use it as a test to see if Kaori can remember him. When Yuuki turns that down Shougo says to just talk to the girl. Yuuki doesn't want to bother Kaori if she seems fine with this break. Yuuki continues to talk about this later. Even if he did invite her to do things over break what could he do that wouldn't look like a date?! Shougo is like...are you for real...just take her anywhere. Yuuki tries to talk to her about it after school but she is excited about where her dad will take her this summer. Yuuki is sad but says nothing. The last day before summer break comes along and Shougo asks how things went since Kaori doesn't have a phone so planning things after the fact will be hard. Yuuki is like oh I will just go to her house if all else fails....Shougo basically kicks Yuuki and tells him to go find Kaori NOW. Yuuki thanks Shougo for the courage and vows to repay his kindness one day. He finds Kaori before she gets too far and asks if she wants to see him during break. She says yes simply and he freaks out. She then realizes that there is no school and she wouldn't normally see him. She sees his point and smiles, saying they should hang out. Monday rolls around and Yuuki gets ready for this meeting when he realizes they didn't set a meeting place. He runs to Kaori's house but her mom says she already left. Mom is all smiles when she sees his silly face. Yuuki takes off to the only place he knows they can meet alone and in private, the school roof. Kaori is there feeling weird about wearing her normal clothes at school. Yuuki realizes Kaori recognizes him, that he didn't have to introduce himself. Kaori gets all blushy, saying she just knew it was him. That she felt as if she has met him before. Enter AWWW faces. Later on Kaori surprises Yuuki with homemade cookies for his birthday. Shougo let her know the date was coming oh so discretely and she wrote it huge in her diary. Yuuki gets so touched he loses his brain and asks how she feels towards him. She smiles and says she likes him. Before Yuuki gets too excited he confirms that she likes Shougo and Saki and math and kittens and raindrops. Oh poor Yuuki. THE END!

I want to have plans with you but opening my mouth and saying that would make even more feelings!

So I thought to myself when I was watching this show...it will be easy to blog this episode. It was cute but not much happened. A lot of looks and blushy faces. Then I look at my summary and I go oh. That's sad. :( Being brief is clearly not a skill I possess.

But what about me?!

Since Saki talked openly to Kaori in class other people have taken to talking to the girl. Like everyone was off gossiping about her and spreading rumors but that is what high schoolers do. Drama has to happen or school would be just a place to learn and exercise. We can't be having that. Once Saki showed people Kaori was human and had feelings....well everyone saw it at once. The ice was broken. Kaori is not a robot and can show emotion on her face. I guess no one wants to approach a grump. Well a girl grump. Boys can be grumps right Shougo? Yuuki is watching this with mixed feelings. Of course he wants Kaori to be happy and not lonely. He wants her to make up for lost time. Friends for everyone. But on the flip side being Kaori's only friend made Yuuki feel special. Like this is our tiny world and I am everything to her. And that is slowly chipping away. Yuuki isn't being super possessive or creepy but I can understand how this is new for him too and he has to learn to share.

I used her first name and she almost melted and died! HOW CUTE!

Besides Yuuki can't do everything for Kaori. No matter how awesome a friend is it is better in life to have more than one friend. You know...in case ya'll have a major fight. I kid I kid. But no I think girls and boys can be friends with each other but they probably need to have same sex friends too to balance it out. Yuuki can't be there for girl talk. I mean I guess he could...but when the girl talk is about him that might be awkward. Or not since Kaori didn't understand there was girl talk happening all around her. I like that Ai and Maiko have taken Kaori under their wing. Given the fact they put up with Saki's...issues all the time they must have experience with being that good of a friend. It will make Kaori look a little more approachable too. Maybe those rude girls will come crawling back and apologize or something. This is good for Kaori even if she doesn't know it.

Negative 5 points!

Saki and her pathetic jump. Oh Saki. OHH SAKI! It is hard to make fun of her athletic ability when I had planned to exercise the last two weeks to get ready for this upcoming Disney trip that's been months in the making. Yeah I walked for 48 minutes one day and I nearly died. So who am I to make fun of Saki? Oh you mean she didn't even try and I would have at least made it to the dirt and fallen on the ground trying? Carry on then Tenchi.

Something that happened during this girl time had Kaori running to Yuuki for advice. Or at least comfort. Okay maybe she just explained what happened. Maiko and Ai have decided to make official, their friendship with Kaori. First names and everything. Hurry go and tell Yuuki this new development so he can have more things to be jealous about. Haha kidding. He was happy for her. And then got jealous. Because what about alone time? Since Yuuki is pure and doesn't think in underhanded ways....he really accidentally thought of how he could spend time alone with Kaori. The boy is in need of some serious math help. So does Saki but I bet she needs help in every other subject because of her memory issue. See Yuuki? Legit reason for spending time alone with Kaori. Due to their fight last time Yuuki had to be careful how he worried things. But since Kaori can't remember every detail Yuki probably was safe. That or Kaori was really trying to be friendly with Shougo to help Yuuki out and she didn't understand his “anger” while this jealously of spending time alone isn't registering on her this seems wrong scale.

Oh snap was that out loud?!

I am sure nothing came out of this studying session. Well no studying anyway. Yuuki was too busy looking at Kaori and being concerned that she was bored with what they were doing. Helping some study is boring by nature so what did the kid expect? Makes me laugh. XD Kaori is just so happy to have friends and a different life now she is all for helping. In between the glances and not studying they did talk about a few things. Yuuki probably thought he was talking about something safe when he asked why Kaori liked math so much. This triggered something inside of her, more than the obvious fact that she had no friends and threw herself into her studies. Something with math is connected to why her memories reset hmmmm. But then there was talk about favorite numbers and how Yuuki thinks Kaori is cute. Oh he said other things but that was something that stuck out in her head. Made him look obviously in love (like) with her. But since Kaori is relationship stunted from her years of solitude she took it as a compliment. Like she was raised all alone and this is her first time interacting with other human beings. She knows it means something but she acted with such innocence Yuuki almost died from cuteness overload.

Just keep your calender open for all the days I do need you.

Saki and Shougo were slightly involved with this cute study session. Shougo was walking by as this is his school took and Yuuki nearly lost his mind. Of course Shougo did mention how lovely dovey the scene looked but I don't think he planned on staying. Yuuki is his embarrassment and shyness made the situation worse by overreacting. Like what are you doing here? I don't need you here attitude. If I were Shougo I would have glared at the boy. Like really?! You don't need me TODAY but yesterday and tomorrow and every other day you do. Ungrateful. Poor Shougo. Saki also showed up and made the task of hanging a poster up impossibly complicated. I am sure the teacher who asked Saki to do it wasn't looking at the girl's obvious height when she asked this request. This scene was basically just set up to make Yuuki look helpful and good in front of Saki's friends.

And then Yuuki's eyeball lazers killed Shougo.

Even though the study session goes well Yuuki gets the sads. Because it's almost summer break time. Instead of being happy like every other kid in Japan Yuuki is :(. And of course Shougo has to come to pick up the pieces. Because Yuuki didn't need him that one day....but today is a new one. Back to talking to Shougo about all his problems. While Kaori has been okay with communicating in class and lunches are always his...what about summer break? They never hang out after school it seems. I think in the back of Kaori's mind she knows that would be date like and they can't be having that yet. So naturally Yuuki was worried about their friendship and the simple task of talking to her about it blew his little mind. Also Shougo's suggestion to use this time period as a test went over as well as could be expected from Yuuki. A big fact hell no.

Shougo must be a good friend. Yuuki is the needy one and Shougo is the aloof one. Make a good pair.

Yuuki does try to follow Shougo's advice sometimes. Like casually asking Kaori about her plans for the summer. Only this is the first summer Kaori has had friends (well recently) and she is more focused on the trips her father will take her on. It never dawned on her she wouldn't be seeing Yuuki at all. Thanks for Shougo and his threats of violence did Yuuki finally point blank ask Kaori to do things over summer break. This show is about FEELINGS folks. Lots and lots of FEELINGS. Even the tiniest thing has the greatest meaning and smiles and blushes take over your screen. Reminding you that things can be simple and beautiful. Almost like explaining friendship and love to aliens. XD

And then Yuuki's little heart exploded into one million adorable pieces.

So did Yuuki and Kaori spend time together over summer break? Yes they did. But even that couldn't be simple because Kaori doesn't have a cellphone. I am going to guess she will get one soon and there will be an entire episode based on adding people's numbers and texting people. But yeah when they agreed to meet up during summer break they didn't decide on a meeting place. Mom was sure amused by their antics. It all worked out well though with Yuuki and Kaori both deciding to go to the school and wait for the other. Something small also happened...but it was big in Yuuki's eyes. I don't think Kaori would have realized it unless Yuuki pointed it out. Kaori immediately started talking to Yuuki on the roof. There was no pause, asking if he was Yuuki. Yuuki didn't introduce himself. She just started talking to him. And it touched his heart when she explained she just felt as if he was Yuuki. Maybe a little bit of teasing since innocent Kaori didn't realize that touching Yuuki and saying she met him before and could feel it. A lot of baby steps in helping Kaori regain her memories and another big step into dating...which almost killed Yuuki.

You....like me?!

The episode ends on Yuuki's birthday. Unless it is the zombie apocalypse or some other disaster how do people forget it's their birthday? I am calling shenanigans on that. Kaori didn't forget because Shougo is a good wing man and made sure the girl knew it was Yuuki's birthday soon. Enter the homemade cookies and giant note in the important diary of wonderfulness. Oh and Kaori confessed that she liked Yuuki. Yuuki allowed himself 5 seconds to be overjoyed with happiness before he realized that he was in an anime show with a happy girl who probably likes everyone. Including puddles, kittens, and blood laced tea. Oh poor Yuuki. Can his poor heart handle this stress? Probably since he is a good kid. I am sure Kaori will come around one day. But for now...get that girl a cellphone and eat those yummy looking cookies.

Gokukoku no Brynhildr episode 6

Bleh. Just a bleh day. A day when nothing really bad has happened but nothing amazing has happened either. Just a normal day of chores and TV. Maybe not a bleh day then? More like a normal day. Not every day can be amazing and I certainly wouldn't want every day to be awful. Just an uneventful day thus far. Yes that is the wordage. Uneventful. XD Get those blehs aside and be grateful for normalness.

You tell her Neko!

Since the commentary version of the The Thing is slightly disappointing I guess I will get caught up on Gokukoku no Brynhildr while I can. Episode 6 is up now. Spoilers for girls with big hearts and stupid ideas.

Episode Summary: Neko and Ryouta look on in horror as this Shino girl bleeds out. Kikako walks over to the armless girl and rips out her harnest. Neko still has a glint in her eye, that she wants revenge. Ryouta points out that Neko shouldn't risk her life on a dead girl, only the living. Neko looks upset but was about to agree to leave when Kotori just runs out in the open screaming for Shino. I SHALL SAVE YOU! Obviously Kikako being 5 feet away sees the stupid girl and starts walking over. Neko tells Ryouta to run as her plan is now to save an alive girl...Kotori. Ryouta is against this plan and Kana is screaming that her vision is going to come true just that Kotori isn't the actual killer. Kazumi tells everyone they need to get out of dodge as the explosion has caught the interest of nearby cops/people. Ryouta notices a flaw in Kikako's attack so if Neko wants to play the hero he can help. Neko gets out in the open and Kikako focuses her attention on her. Neko tries the whole we shouldn't be fighting at all speech which Kazumi finds stupid in this situation. Still Kazumi uses the cameras and nearby lights to block anyone from casually entering the area. Kikako gets ready to fire her blast and....Neko flings herself on the ground away from said blast. Ryouta the genius has figured out that Kikako's blast is powerful but takes a long time to charge and she can't switch the beam mid stream. So Kikako just keeps firing away and Neko keeps on blocking it. The plan is to get Ryouta close enough to Kikako to hang her up. He is distracted when he sees Kotori running off in the other direction. He finds her near a pole where she was using her own hair ribbon to tie herself up. She had planned on switching places with Neko so Kikako will kill her instead. Ryouta clearly is not down with this plan as he wants to save all the girls. Kotori starts bleeding signaling she is out of pills and hasn't taken one in a while. She says no matter what she is going to die anyway and she rather die saving Neko. Meanwhile Neko is still dodging beams and wondering what is taking Ryouta so long. Kikako is slowly starting to understand that Neko is flinging herself on the ground and is formulating her own plan. Ryouta is becoming distraught because Kotori wants to die and won't accept the pills the other girls have, saying she won't take life from someone else again.

Neko has a fun definition of okay.

Ryouta desperately tries to think of how to save all the girls when TADA he has an idea. Kana senses he got an idea because the future has changed. Neko keeps on trying to dodge beams when Kikako uses some hooks arm thingy to tie Neko into place. Clearly the end is near. Then poof Kotori changes places with Kikako and Ryouta simply reaches over and hangs up Kikako and places a paper bag on her head. Ryouta tries to ask Kikako where the lab is and such but Neko doesn't think the girl knows. Kazumi warns everyone that she can't keep people away any longer and they are in danger since you know...they are witches. Ryouta doesn't bother with Kikako this time as she is a killer. Kikako is picked up by the lab and is going to be punished for slightly failing. It is noted by the others someone used their power to cover up this whole nonsense later. But as they escape the scene they realize that Kotori has left to die alone. Kazumi finds the club form Kotori filled out and the girl actually used her temporary address. They arrive to find Kotori still alive and with her arms which apparently is a good sign. Ryouta tells Kotori to take the pill. Kotori won't and explains why. She escaped the lab with her friend Chie but of course they ran out of pills. Kotori had a birthday soon and Chie wanted to give her the rest of the pills so Kotori could turn 16 and go to school (since Chie is a little hacker too). Chie's birthday was also soon Kotori argued but they certainly didn't have enough pills for that. Chie simply stopped taking the pills and fell apart in Kotori's hands. She asked Kotori to SMILE even when things went bad and to think of her. Thus Kotori smiling at inappropriate times. Kotori is happy she got to spend a little time in school and the club so it's okay. Both Ryouta and Neko point out WHY Kotori should live on...funny and serious. Eventually Kotori realizes they want her to live so she takes the damn pill and lives long enough to wish Chie's grave happy birthday. Later that week Ryouta goes out to buy food for all the girls now that Kotori is also living there with them. He thinks to himself that they all thought Kotori was a killer due to a missing detail in Kana's vision and they need to be more careful. He arrives at the conservatory to find all the girls naked because playing in water and having fanservice is fun. Before he is killed he cooks them a meal and brings the subject to getting them more pills. He thinks he can trust someone enough to help him but he is going to need to bring proof for this to work. He asks Neko the depths of her ability and the other girls agree to trust Ryouta. Ryouta goes to a small college and talks to a young scientist named Kogoro. Kogoro may or may not have the hots for Ryouta. Ryouta asks why Kogoro hasn't left this small town and simply the man is lazy. Ryouta gets to the point, saying he has super amazing classified info but Kogoro might be killed for it and so would he. Kogoro doesn't believe in the supernatural so Ryouta has Neko blow up several things in the office as she can see things from the window. Once Kogoro is satisfied he gets a weird look on his face, thinking this will be fun. THE END!

Yeah...I totally appreciate it all.

You know...I appreciate this anime. Because for once I am actually the one screaming at the screen. DO THIS! MOG DO THIS! Sometimes in animes the answers are out of left field. Or contact information I was not privy to thus I was unable to suggest them. With this anime we got a bunch of teenage girls with little education or battle skills. So I am glad they are not thinking things out. Unless I am thinking too highly of this show. Ryouta looks like a genius either way. 

So when we last saw our teenagers Shino was mighty dead. Didn't get a confirmation that the cat was okay. Slightly disappointing there but whatever. Instead of getting out of dodge right then and there Neko felt the need to look at Shino get her harnest ripped out. Like Ryouta said it was pointless to do anything now. Yes revenge is nice but us all getting killed is useless. Would Shino want that? No? But we have to take many precious moments thinking this all over. This show does that a lot. Like bleeding to death, have a conversation. Girl with pointy teeth and lazer breath, hang out 5 feet from her and discuss why this rescue mission would fail as a revenge mission.

But I want to die for my friends now. :(

I do get it though. Neko wants to be a good friend. They were in this lab for years. I am sure she got close to a lot of the girls. And even if they don't know every single girl personally they went through something together. Something horrible. And then they weren't even worth saving so they had to escape together. As long as the witch isn't trying to kill Neko....at the moment she wants to save them. Heck I guess a witch could try and kill her and she still want to save them because she knows that they aren't doing this on purpose. They are just trying to survive. So Neko feels bad that she couldn't save the girl and wants to stop Kikako from killing another witch. So not really revenge...well yes revenge but also a preventative measure.

And or die at the same time!

Thank goodness Kotori has rocks for brains. It gave Neko a reason to risk her life again. I guess Kotori really is a good girl and just wanted to help a fellow witch. But maybe she could have been a little more careful. Someone dangerous is right in front of you and screaming HERE I AM might not help you or the girl you are attempting to save. If I was Kikako I would have blasted Kotori first and then turned to Neko. Maybe this was like an action flick, how all the numerous baddies take their turn to attack the main character instead of attacking all at once. Or maybe Kikako is smart because she saw how dumb Kotori is and wanted to get the more dangerous witch. It is a toss up with witches. None of them have education it seems but some have better fighting/common sense skills.

Lag causes a lot of death....in the gaming world too.

I know that Ryouta is not made of magic. That he is just a high school kid with a sad past. And maybe the ability to memorize everything after looking at it once, even if it holds little important in the real world. But Ryouta has been coming across super amazing, especially compared to these girls who are missing tiny details and the big picture. I thought that something...amazing was going to happen. Ryouta saw Kikako's abilities and he knew how Neko could win. It would be complicated and hard to pull off but Ryouta was going to save the day. The dramatic moment came and...Neko dodged the blast. Wow folks. Wow. How amazing is that? Let me take a moment to praise this amazing military strategy. Never would I thought to move away from a dangerous object that was trying to kill me. It's not like Kikako is a machine gun and can fire off separate blasts nor is she a lighthouse with the ability to rotate herself mid stream. So....you go there Neko. Fling yourself on the ground and distract her while Ryouta....goes behind Kikako and hangs her up.

We got all the time in the world for this conversation.

This amazing plan was put on hold though because Kotori was off looking suspicious. I would have assumed that she was running away but Kana's vision was putting everyone on edge. Speaking of Kana she was busy....making sure the future was going to change and Kazumi was busy blocking people from entering the area. Because there are stop signs and do not enter signs all over the place and Japanese people follow rules to a T or public shame. Ryouta finds Kotori tying herself with a hair ribbon to a pole so she could save Neko via her transportation magic. As you can see great ideas fall far from the tree. A hair ribbon? Does Kotori know some super amazing knot that would render Neko unable to move for a significant amount of time? Or was it just meant to be a 3 second hold as Kotori gets blown away by Kikako? Then Neko can undo the ribbon and run away herself with that tiny distraction? It probably would have gone down the same way if Kotori didn't tie herself up but Ryouta uses that later anyway.

But...I'm Ryouta. I have to save girls or I die!

Before Neko can be saved and Kikako stopped we got to have a moment with Kotori. Because Kotori wants to die to save Neko and Ryouta wants to save all the girls forever. These are his new precious friends and it is a screwed up situation that they are all in. NO MORE DEATHS! Because they are creepy and gross. Why would you throw your life away Kotori? Oh because you are out of pills and are currently bleeding from the mouth. I guess that makes a little more sense why you have suicidal tendencies. I like how Ryouta was giving away everyone else's pills. XD Like Kazumi took HALF of them the last time so Neko and Kana have to share the other half. Now Ryouta is giving even more away without asking the other girls? I see. Now...maybe give Kotori one and tell the girls her problem AFTER the danger has gone but even then Kotori wasn't feeling that. She won't take people's life from them, even if it is only one day. Because she is a sweet girl. Dumb but sweet.

That's a great way to motivate your free slave labor.

Ryouta wasn't done with his amazing ideas though. Kotori's magic is pretty limited to me but Ryouta looked at that mighty tight knot on the hair ribbon and had an idea. Which is good because Kikako was growing bored of this flinging yourself on the ground and avoiding my attack crap. Oh and Kikako had hooks in her wrists so pinning Neko down was easy. So instead of trading places with Neko Kotori could change places with Kikako and Ryouta could hang her up by standing in the exact same spot. MOG MOST AMAZING IDEA EVER! Yeah Kotori doesn't have much.....common sense. Almost like these girls are lining up to die for each other. No I want to die for you today!!!!!!! This plan worked pretty well but instead of fulling taking out Kikako for her murderous ways the others flee because the popo were arriving and they would turn them over to the lab. That and finding Kotori was more important because she is a friend. I am sure we will see Kikako later, full of anger and want for revenge since Mr. Creepy is not happy with her.

Wouldn't want Ryouta to have to deal with that pain so she better stay alive.

Onward to finding Kotori. Since she is so special she actually put down the broken down house she was staying in. Neko and Ryouta find the girl bleeding to death but according to Neko this is okay because her limbs are still on. WOOHOO everything is awesome. Now before we can put the pill in Kotori's mouth she needs to tell her sad tale. Because this show really likes to push how far the witches can go before they explode. Kana bleeding to death, time for Neko and Ryouta to talk. Kotori might lose her hands any second, gotta explain her sad past. Which wasn't too long ago obviously. Basically Kotori escaped the lab with another girl and that girl Chie stopped taking pills so Kotori could live long enough to have her birthday and turn 16. Now this show is sad, we are talking about DAYS here folks. Not years. So either way Chie was going to die and wasn't going to make it to her own birthday but Kotori feels as if it is her fault. She killed Chie and took her life...even though it was Chie's choice and they were doomed anyway. Neko of course gets sad because she wants everyone to live and be happy. Ryouta tried to be funny about the situation and this combined effort made Kotori see the light and take the pills. Sure we might have weeks left now but we can have them together. Going to school and having dreams. That's the life.

She says that as she is bleeding to death and literally falling apart. X__X Tragic.

Ryouta reflects on this as he brings the girls food. That Kana was wrong with her vision. Or really she just sees what is going to happen. Kana does not have the ability to read the context of the situation. Kotori was standing over Neko smiling. Before Chie died she told Kotori to smile and live for her, even when things got tough. Kotori took that to the extreme, even smiling in dangerous and uncomfortable situations. Kana didn't know that and assumed anyone smiling over a dead body would be the killer. So while Ryouta isn't doubting Kana's visions as truth he is understanding that they can't just take the facts without knowing the situation around them. Yes lots of thinking.

Ryouta has more than 99 problems I think.

Ryouta also had a plan to talk about the issue of pills with the girls. Now they have another person to keep alive which means things will eventually get iffy again. Breaking into another lab might not be the key to success so they need to figure something out. Personally I think Ryouta is delaying the inevitable unless he grows up to be a chemist or whatever and can make the pills himself. But Ryouta has the delusions and is going to fix this problem the best way he can. He probably could do more fixing if the girls did more clothes wearing. It's so hot outside...lets not wear bras or shirts and spray each other all over. YAY FRIENDS! I am a bad friend because I have never seen any of my friends naked ever. :(

Eventually Ryouta got the topic back on hand and told the girls that he knows a person who might be able to help. I am glad he asked since this is THEIR secret. I would have liked all the girls to have gone to meet said friend but I guess that would be a little too dangerous. Kazumi's power might have looked cool to a nonbeliever and Kotori's would have been obvious. But Neko breaking things is awesome. So Ryouta halfway takes Neko to see some pervert scientist named Kogoro. The girls seem to be safe though from his wrath as he swings the other way. After some small talk Ryouta gets to the point. Like look I am going to tell you something amazing but you might die because of it. My husband would have walked out of the door. But Kogoro is both curious and a skeptic. And hopefully smart enough to synthesize these pills himself. That is why Ryouta went to him right? Kogoro was doubting Ryouta's words until Neko blew up enough things. Then it was all smiles. WOOHOO this is surely worth dying for. Maybe. I feel as if this group is getting pretty big which means there will be more changes for mistakes and what not. Can Kogoro be trusted? I guess we will find out next time.

Black Bullet episode 6

Can I throw a brick at my neighbor? Because really folks. Really. Our doors are about 5 feet apart and every single day of my life this woman has to slam her door every five seconds to smoke a cigarette and talk loudly on her phone about how everyone in life sucks. Everyone in her family hates her for some reason. And she can only relay these important messages in 5 hour phone calls at the top of her lungs. Does she not see my door? Does she not realize how LOUD she is being? I counted today. In a one hour period she slammed the door 15 times. What the hell?! Why would you need to go in and out of your house that many times in one hour?! And it's just her and her husband, no kids. Can you imagine the noise if they had kids. :( I want my old across the hallway neighbors back. Even if it turns out they were wanted fugitives...

No no no, a sniper is way too much to deal with my neighbor problem....

In between all the door slamming and cursed laced phone calls I did get a tiny bit done today. XD Go me. My grand plans tend to make more sense in my head and never make it to reality. Episode Summary: Rentarou and Tina both look out from their respective spots, wondering who the other is. The next day Tina calls wanting to hang out with Rentarou...right then and there. Show her around town. He is rather tired from his busy week but comes anyway, bringing her food and eventually feeding it to her. He thinks to himself about the bodyguard work, who could be the sniper and how it can't be any normal people who have set death threats to Seitenshi. Tina thanks Rentarou for today. Since her parents have died life hasn't been too much fun for her and he seems to care about her. Rentarou gets slightly touched and says if she needs him again to just call. Before things get too mushy Tina gets a phone call and skips away. It is her Master saying he knows who the sniper belongs to. Or really what organization. The president of said company is Kisara so obviously this is bad news. Later in the episode Mr. Master calls again about more details, like Rentarou's name, but due to crowding issues Tina drops the phone and is unable to hear. Sometime later Rentarou goes to see Miori and Kisara is not happy. She ready to shot a cap in this girl's ass, head, and chest but Miori simply takes Rentarou inside and locks the door because can Kisara afford to pay for damages? Didn't think so. Inside the student council room (where Rentarou went to see Miori) is some secret room that has some grade A machines and what nots in there. Of course this is all located at a high school. This area of Japan is run by a teenager, why not have the defense be run by one too. Miori puts aside her love for Rentarou long enough to be professional. She explains with some computer programs what type of weapon was used and from what building. Given how things went down Miori concludes this is a very dangerous person. Miori also puts her two cents in about how Seitenshi's other bodyguards suck and she will probably die soon. Rentarou asks Miori to use her connections to learn about Sogen. Since he is a pretty high up there individual Miori is hesitant but then decides that she can charm her way into Rentarou's pants so she agrees. Kisara senses something is wrong so she breaks into the room ready to kill. Miori lies and says that Rentarou is going to join her organization and leave her behind. YAY TENSION! Rentarou goes to see Sumire and at first the conversation is all about Kisara and how Rentarou needs to put the moves on her. Then they get down to business. Sumire congratulates them moving up in ranking (like to 1,000....considering where they were at). But she warns them things might be dangerous from here on out. Sumire was part of a 4 person organization that was supposed to help save the world by making mechanized soldiers. Helping people who got injured by the Gastrea. The New Humanity Creation Plan. When Cursed Children became an easier weapon the project was abandoned by there are sill people like Hiruko out there, many Promoters at high ranks. She warns them to be very careful. She dismisses Rentarou as she wants to talk to Enju in private. When asked later Enju doesn't seem to understand what her meeting with Sumire was about and it is not mentioned again.

Kisara has made it to her office where she hates Rentarou forever for talking to Miori when Tina knocks on her door. Tina has been watching all the Terminator movies one too many times and takes out some sorta of machine gun to kill Kisara. Every single bullet misses and Kisara has the sharpest sword in the world that disables Kisara's main weapon. Despite having some skill Tina is stronger and soon Kisara is on the ground demanding answers even though her death is seconds away. Tina starts to shake, as she doesn't want to really kill anyone but strangles Kisara anyway. Rentarou rushes in and immediately attacks the intruder. They go at it for a bit until Tina and Rentarou realize who they are fighting. Tina becomes deeply upset as does Rentarou only he recovers much faster, like oh so this who you really are. Tina tries to explain but Kisara cuts the floor, causing it to break and Tina to escape. Before Kisara can question Rentarou about this girl she collapses to the ground. Rentarou rushes her to the hospital where Kisara has to have her kidneys taken care of. Rentarou questions why Kisara won't have a transplant and basically she has a lot of reasons that make no sense. Kisara and Rentarou try to have a moment together holding hands but Enju comes by and spoils the mood. They regroup and Kisara tries stating the obvious on what is going on and orders Rentarou to guard Seitenshi and stop the assassin. Seitenshi and her death wish self takes on another meeting with Sogen because there is not PROOF that Sogen sent the assassin. Seitenshi also tries to state some crap that dying for her cause might be a positive thing if people could see the peace in it but Rentarou declares that also stupid. Seitenshi agrees to let him protect her...and they immediately almost die the second they arrive at the meeting. Tina is setting off rockets again and some nonimportant people are shot. Rentarou gets Enju and Seitenshi back in the car but is slightly injured on the way. He directs the driver to the nearest parking garage as there will be no line of fire there. Enju says she can go after the sniper and reach them if she goes alone right now. Rentarou allows this, thinking since it's a sniper Enju would have the advantage. Seitenshi runs out in the open, telling Rentarou that she ran the name Tina Sprout (as he growled in earlier) in the data base of amazingness and she is a mech Promoter ranked 97. Rentarou calls Enju as she will surely die but Tina answers the phone silently and Rentarou panics. THE END!

And then it cuts to a commercial.

Rentarou is sorta like a bad luck charm. Like Alice in Resident Evil. She makes friends with someone...they die. Or get kidnapped. Or have a giant spider brain washing thing stuck to them for 4 years. Either way Rentarou is talking to people and BAM they either die, get maimed, or turn out to do the dying/maiming. Such is the life of an awesome person.

Shooting people is hard work, feed me!

Since Rentarou and Tina didn't know who did the attacking against the other the night before...they really had no idea what was going on the next day. If it were me I would be tired like Tina. YAWN!! All that trying to assassinate people is hard work. Rentarou seems to soldier through things, even staying up later to read through piles of I hate Seitenshi and her equality ways. I thought it was a bit special that Tina asked Rentarou to show her around town. Tina's Master (Sogen or is he a red herring?) should have sent her maps and the intel of the area. None of this find a local boy and have him show me the ropes. She should have already had that information.

As for the other issues..I was okay with them. I mean Rentarou should have put together she is a Chosen Child by now right? She always seems alone and out of it. And she was going on this episode about dead parents and never having fun/life being hard. Rentarou taking care of Tina in that moment was sweet though. I guess he can't think every minute about who is out to get him. Sometimes it is nice to be kind to another human being, especially if they are a cute girl who has a hard time getting food from the plate to their mouths. I thought Rentarou might have asked more questions about the girl though. Like if your parents aren't around how are you getting by? Rentarou might be like my husband though. He doesn't tend to ask a lot of questions, just give you want you need. So since Tina seems like she needs a friend that is what Rentarou offers. Tina is happy with how things are turning out. Seems like the right time for her Master to call and give her PARTIAL information on who stopped her assassination attempt last time. Because if Tina was told all the info up front what fun would that be?

Since Rentarou's good deed of the day is done it is off to see Miori. Nothing can be that easy though as Miori and Kisara are fighting over the man that is Rentarou. I would think that Kisara would hold her tongue more since Miori's dad is supplying them with the means to make Rentarou a Promoter. But with Miori flaunting her power and....assets all over the place I guess it is hard to blame Kisara for her jealous face. I know later in the episode Sumire tells Rentarou he needs to step up his game but maybe Kisara does too? After all she has probably known him for longer and things haven't progressed yet.

Putting that aside and the fact that this high tech lab is at a normal high school and not someone's private residents...Miori seems to know what she is talking about. Maybe I would too with all that fancy equipment. I doubt it though since it took me 3 minutes to figure out how to get a game out of the PS4 system. My husband kept saying to press the button. In my word a button is a button and not a regular part of the system completely hidden. But I digress. Miori has a bit of info on the sniper. Basically this person is awesome and Rentarou should be careful since Seitenshi is being guarded by flying butt monkeys and Rentarou can only do so much. I like how Rentarou thanks her with asking more favors. I am not sure how much damage can be done by researching Sogen. Like does he have his phone set to something that when people google his name he gets pings? In any event Miori agrees to help. I am not sure if Sogen really is out to get Seitenshi or that would be too obvious given his rant last episode. What I do know is that Miori can only be serious for about 5 seconds before hitting on Rentarou and making Kisara jealous. At least she tried.

So why was Hiruko so shocking if there are MANY people like him?

Rentarou went from two crazy girls to have a meeting with one crazy girl and Enju. Whom is pretty okay in my book. I know her love for Rentarou is a bit much at times given her age but....when she isn't being a pervert she is a cute kid. And it's not like she does that all the time. Sumire is just odd because she is going on and on about Kisara and romance when there are other matters to discuss. And no not Enju's impending doom. It is about how...if Rentarou wants to explore his past he better be careful. This was all news to me of course since Rentarou wants to know what the hell is going on with the tricycle in a box. I didn't know he needed to know anything about his past. What is there to know about HIS past? Parents died, Gastrea injured him, and he was raised by someone who hates Chosen Children. Sumire should have said this was about the origins of the Gastrea...but her information wasn't about that either. It was about how Rentarou was CONFUSED and LIED TO when this whole Hiruko is the legendary soldier from the New Humanity Project thingy. You know, when Rentarou had his surprise face on, like Hiruko was new and interesting. Sumire goes on and on how there were 4 scientists heading this project and she was only one of them. And the other soldiers that are no longer needed because Chosen Children are easier weapons went on to be Promoter partners. Clearly this is info Rentarou needs to know now as he ranked up to such a high position. Since everyone else DIED! Yeah I am not sure why this conversation was even taking place. I know that Shougen was an asshole but are people really going to kill Rentarou now because he is a higher ranking? And people who have mechanized parts are more likely to do this? It just seemed like more info the viewer was supposed to know and there wasn't a smooth way for it to come across so Sumire flat out said it.

This weapon can fit in a musical case. How dare you doubt that!

While this nonsense is going on Kisara is hard at work yelling to herself because Rentarou sucks. I am glad she gets to be president of a business that barely has any business. Before Kisara can think of ways to kill/fire her only real worker Tina comes in. Sarah Conner? I would be like um no bye but that is not how anime works. Anime works by having a tiny girl carrying a weapon bigger than her into a building that houses many other businesses. I guess someone was karoking away and didn't hear the rapid gun fire. For a sick girl Kisara is able to hold her own. And for a thin piece of metal that sword was able to cut through that gun like it was nothing. Tina even looked a bit...shocked. Now if I were Tina I would have rocket launched the entire place...you know on the streets. It seems Tina has a hard time killing people when she has to be personal about it so that could help in future murders. Kisara put up a fight but Chosen Kids are strong you know.

:( Rentarou's really sad face almost makes me want to cry.

Rentarou senses when girls are in danger so he was able to save Kisara before anything truly horrible could happen. I thought Rentarou would have recognized Tina right away. Like the first dramatic fly away scene. Rentarou gets there and fires at the baddie, Tina hears him at the last minute and pushes away, and during those two movements Rentarou and Tina “fly” away and catch each others eyes. I think that would have been better but instead they interact for a few moments. Just a few but enough for me to go hmm. I guess the adrenaline was kicking in for the both of them. When they did realize who they were fighting it did tug at my heart strings. Like no....not my new friend. Tina said herself not many people are nice to her and Rentarou seems to feel bad for little girls in general, especially those girls who are Chosen Children and are forced to do things against their will. I think Tina was more upset than Rentarou. He seemed...disappointed. Almost like he was lied to. Or he should have known. I don't think he was mad per say. Like he knew Tina wasn't really behind this, she was just the tool. He got his mind back into this is the enemy, just because I know who she is doesn't change things. However it might explain why Rentarou didn't really go after Tina. Like nope she escaped.

And killing all Titans? Errr I mean Gastrea.

Rentarou didn't have much time to be pissed off at Tina because Kisara was injured. Well more like she is sick. I sorta forgot about that tiny line in the first episode. Kisara has bad kidneys due to the Gastrea attack. I am not sure what that is all about but I guess it is possible. In a world with metal limbs that function real one would think Kisara could get some new kidneys. Well apparently she doesn't want new organs. I thought she was going to say something like organs come from Chosen Children, I won't put those girls at risk. Instead she goes on about how she has to erase names from history and what not. She wants revenge but...shouldn't she want revenge on the Gastrea? I don't know, seems off to me. This doesn't get much screen time because Kisara magically recovers at the speed of fast and needs to hit on Rentarou, because she is still mad about Miori's earlier actions. HOLDING HANDS! That is the ticket ladies. And then Enju shows up and there is no hand holding. Oh and then Kisara orders Rentarou to stop the sniper. Because she has to say that...it's not known?

We can't accuse bad people of doing bad things. That would look...bad.

Rentarou is continuing his mission to protect Seitenshi. Probably from herself? Because she doesn't want to believe Sogen is the one behind these attacks. I know she is the leader of this area and it would be bad form to accuse someone else, a leader, without evidence. Political reasons. However in this age can't they just communicate by computer? Seems like a safer route to go since I am sure they would have to travel outside safe zones to get to the next area yes? Oh and the last meeting with Sogen didn't go that well. It was basically useless. There really was no reason to have another meeting putting aside the fact that Seitenshi nearly died at the last one. Seitenshi wants to be a martyr without saying the world martyr. She stands for peace and how will it look to the people if she resorted to violence. Rentarou rolls his eyes. Sure I will be the bad guy while you get to look like the victim. He didn't really say that but that's basically what happened so....

Lets make Enju the bodyguard. She never gets shot or bleeds all over the place!

Surprise Tina attacked Seitenshi right before the meeting started. Hommie doesn't waste anytime. Rentarou gets slightly injured but that's nothing he can't handle. Peace out you useless bodyguards, we got places to be. Too bad that these pairings don't work together. Like Rentarou has some friends he can call on that were waiting on the roof in case this would happen. But nope. It's just Rentarou and Enju protecting the most important in the area. The only person in Japan that can protect Chosen Children. See if this was regulated or something the other girls could have come and helped. But since everyone is afraid of them they don't bother to help anyone out. This leads to a bit of an unnecessary car chase and some hiding. It will be okay folks.

Ah yes owl. I like how I pick up on the weird, maybe throwaway words of the sentence...

Or not. After getting Seitenshi into a parking garage Enju immediately wants to chase the girl. I don't think Rentarou told her that he knew the girl. She does get a bit suspicious about things. Rentarou probably didn't want to due to the emotional factor. But Rentarou thought things would be safe since Enju excels at close combat and Tina seems to like to kill from far away. I like how 5 second after Enju runs off Seitenshi appears with important information. Rentarou saying the name of the sniper made her look up the name in 5 seconds flat. Tina...in dangerous. DUH! Something about Owl Initiator so that means Chosen Child which means she is super awesome. But since she is ranked 97 in the world I guess that was the warning part of the message. Quick call Enju back, it's only been 30 seconds. She wouldn't have gotten far. Yeah the episode ends with Tina holding Enju's phone and Rentarou looking in shock so....doesn't look good does it? Guess we will have to wait until next episode to see if Tina comes to the light side or if Rentarou has to take her out with tears in his eyes.

Duffy the Disney Bear Adventures: Mom finds a treasure for me?

Hear that? Mom's home! I wonder what she went to do without me.

Hello there lovers of bears, Disney, and other things super cute! My adventures have been rather lacking lately. :( Sad I know. Mom promises me that I get to go on a big adventure next week so I guess I will have to be patient. But mom says she has a surprise for now. She was off doing chores and said she spotted something for me. I wonder what it could be.

What is this?! A table just for me?! Mom and dad have a table but it human sized. This table looks like it will fit me perfectly.

Tables are also made for eating at so I shall set mine to my favorite thing...Cars!
