Gokukoku no Brynhildr episode 13 FINAL EPISODE: Thank God

Ryouta's response to every situation.

WOOHOO FOLKS! About 3 days into the new anime season and I have now finished the animes from the last season. I am so on the ball it isn't even funny. I would reward myself with ice cream but that would require going to the grocery store and that would require building a boat to withstand all this rain. So...I guess I will give myself a pat on the back instead. Or maybe a reward for actually watching all 13 episodes of Gokukoku no Brynhildr. Make some sort of Gokukoku no Brynhildr survival shirts. That is how bad episodes 12 and 13 were folks. But I have finally powered through them so enjoy this review. Spoilers for....utter chaos and nothing making sense.

How many hands does Ryouta have?

Episode Summary: The helicopter lands and the people in black have decided all is lost and they should just pray to God and stay put. Ryouta gets frustrated and tells Kazumi and Neko they need to save the day. The girls respond by hitting Ryouta in the head. They are going to save the day alone because they love Ryouta and why should he be put into a dangerous situation. They continue on to the not hidden house at all while Kotori is still all glowy. Chisato is trying to go on and on about what the chair people wanted to do, kill God and make a new god tang race or something. Chisato only cares about his sister and will take the alien to experiment on other witches. Kotori threatens to eject herself to save others. Chisato and Valkyria make no effort to stop the girl. Kotori pushes the button and the light stops. The people in black notice and Ryouta wakes up. Neko and Kazumi are already in the basement looking for Kotori when they find Chisato and Valkyria. They casually say that Kotori wasted her life and killed herself. Chisato walks off, telling Valkyria to kill the other two. Valkyria wants Neko to come with her but Neko is still upset about Kotori. Valkyria pushes Neko out of the way and cuts Kazumi in half. She then starts to drag Neko away, saying she has to protect her little sister. Ryouta finally makes his way inside and Nanami helps him navigate the hallways in his brain. He finds a half melted Kotori who explains the situation. Ryouta seems to think that it won't be worth living if they save the world without Kotori. Kotori sees it a different way and smiles. She asks Ryouta to stop “her brother” Chisato before he hurts anyone else and melts into a blob. Ryouta wants to cry but Nanami pushes him on. At his lab Kogoro realizes a miracle involving the pills might have occurred. Not that Ryouta really needs to care about that now as he finds the cut in half Kazumi. For some reason she is still alive, alive enough to talk to Ryouta. Ryouta wants to stay and cry but Kazumi sends the boy on his way to save Neko. As Ryouta takes off Neko is sad she didn't give Ryouta her virginity because clearly she is dead. Kazumi and her dark eyes die and Nanami takes Ryouta as far as she can through the maze that is this basement. Back the conservatory Kana is freaking out and is asking to do something, possible off herself but she can't move to eject herself.

Ryouta will save her in about 10 minutes, it will be okay.

Valkyria is carrying Neko through the house and thinking about Chisato. Apparently she got ejected at the lab and Chisato put himself in grave danger to make sure she didn't die. She feels torn between Neko and Chisato. When she reaches the outside Chisato is not happy to see Neko alive and orders Valkyria to put the girl down so he can eject her. Valkyria sadly does so and Ryouta comes out of nowhere and kicks Chisato in the face. Ryouta tells Chisato what Kotori/the sister said and...well Chisato takes it as his creepy experiment WORKED and he should try it again. When Ryouta tries to punch the stupid out of him Valkyria uses her powers to fling Ryouta around. She traps Neko and Ryouta and decides to kill Ryouta first so Neko can watch. Neko tries to move her hand to throw the third switch on her harnest to unleash her powers but Valkyria stops her from moving more. Suddenly...Kana is standing in front of Neko taking the blast for her. In the past Neko stopped the guards from finishing gunning down Kana. Kana then swore to give up her ability to move so she could have her forecast magic. But the second she moved again she would lose it. This gives Neko enough time to flip her own switch. She gets all glowly and screaming, freeing Kana and Ryouta from their confides. Neko helps Ryouta up and explains she has gotten all her memories back. Ryouta tries to have a moment but Neko points out they are in slight danger. Neko briefly fights against Valkyria, easily pushing the girl back. Before Valkyria can use her power again the people in black show up with machine guns. Chisato holds Valkyria as he is turned into swiss cheese. The time limit on the magicless little boy runs out and Valkyria blasts someone's arm away as she holds a dying Chisato. Chisato manages to say that human hearts do stupid things and that is why he hates humans before he dies. Valkyria loses her mind and decides to blow up the whole world with her antimatter because Chisato is dead. Neko is the only person that can stop Valkyria with her black hole. Ryouta doesn't want to lose Neko now that she has her memories back. Neko kisses Ryouta and says she has always wanted to be with him and thanks him for always being there for her but she has to do this. With Kana and Ryouta watching in horror Neko flies off to Valkyria. Valkyria is all smirky until she realizes that Neko plans to die together with her sister. Valkyria has a moment of sadness as the two powers combine and WHOOSH!!!! Ryouta is all :( until Neko comes crashing down. The ground breaks beneath her and Ryouta has to pull her to safety, mirroring the events that happened 10 years ago. Neko wakes up and Ryouta is so excited to have Neko back in his life...when she is like who are you? Using all that magic caused Neko to lose every single memory. Ryouta cries in sorrow. In a blink of an eye the entire series comes to an end. The lab is seen doing something, the people in black are seen doing something, and Ryouta visits a now empty lab. But there is no reason for it to be empty because Kana and Neko are still alive. Ryouta goes to join Neko who is looking up at the stars....when Kazumi and Hatsuna roll up seriously not dead anymore. WHAT THE HELL?! And then the episode ends. X____X

She likes that he doesn't like her folks. Insanity.

So....that was the biggest pile of horseshit if I ever witnessed one. If I were typing the exact words that were floating around in my brain at the time of viewing this episode it would be rated NC-17. And given that I look like a 12 year old boy I would be carded from my own post. Like it would be bullshit eff this all over the place. Just...what the hell did I waste my time on? Give me back those 13 weeks!!! Well I guess if I were suing it be more like 30 hours. But still....no folks. No.

Ryouta saves the day with a soccer kick. GOOOOOOOOOOOOAL!

I am well aware that there is a manga out there on this show. Most animes are based on other material. Not many are original and are reversed the other way. I have not read the manga. I just....was super confused on the very last second of the episode and went to the internets to see if I blinked and missed something SUPER IMPORTANT. Turns out there were a lot of anime only fans who were equally as confused. The manga readers informed us that about 389473 chapters were shoved and cut into this last episode and indeed we missed something super important. I am just going to assume they speak the truth and when episode 10 was finished everyone in the office went OH SHIT we aren't getting a season two and we need to get all of this information to the viewers to make it make sense. So...lets wait until episode 13 and slice together random scenes and pretend it makes sense. Surely this will work out.

And then pick up your guns? Because....yeah we need guns.

It didn't. Like it really didn't. Those random people in black that turned up last episode? I am just ASSUMING they are important. They used to work for the lab and when they found out the plan was to turn everyone on the planet into tang they peaced out. I am sure that there was more of a story behind this anti-magic kid. Does he have a different alien race in his neck because yeah...not understanding that. But apparently these fools are stationed in Germany and what not and are allowing Ryouta to run the show. Because people. That is what they do. Oh and at the first sign of the world ending they decide they are going to pray. I am all for prayer folks. But if there is a fire in your house you don't pray to stop it. You get the hell out of there. God gave us brains okay?! I am sure for other religions there is a similar line of thinking. So when the monster growing in Kotori's neck decided to put on a glow show that wasn't the time to give up and leave the world saving up to Ryouta, Neko, and Kazumi. They were acting all big and bad a second ago. Aren't there any missiles or weapons on this helicopter? GET TO SAVING!!

I think they are going to need a lot of help to defeat someone who thinks Chisato is a good person.

So since our super important and just introduced new characters are down for the count it is up to Kazumi, Neko, and Ryouta to save the day. And since they supported/came up with the paint us dead plan.....we are all doomed. Super doom. This will only end in death. Even if Neko was this super witch with awesome powers to take out Valkyria she would be lost without Ryouta whom doesn't have a good track record on staying alive. Color me purple when Kazumi and Neko think that knocking Ryouta out is best for their plan. I mean...I get that they think this is their battle and they don't want Ryouta to die because they loves him. Also a lot of people have died in their lives and it would be worth it if they died and were able to protect at least one person. Two since Kana is safe. But...without Ryouta to have plans and help them out since the two of them are as smart as a bag of Doritos their chances of saving the day are about negative 3 million percent. I am sure Ryouta would die ANYWAY in this effort but he would help save the world which is what he would want. Everyone is so busy trying to die for their friends they aren't taking into consideration the 8 billion other people on the planet. Great you let Ryouta live for 5 more seconds. Go you.

For a week anyway.

Turns out though that Kazumi and Neko don't have the weight of the world on their shoulders though. This is a positive thing because really....we would have all died anyway. No no, a slightly more incompetent hero stepped up and saved the day. Kotori!!! See chances are she wasn't going to survive the alien emerging from her neck. Quite frankly I don't know how she was still alive with how much of the alien that was sticking out. But once Chisato told Kotori what the plan was, that she was going destroy the world into tangness...Kotori peaced out herself. Because that is what I would do, call the girl stupid and what not while allowing her to move her arms towards her neck. Tying Kotori down or attempting to stop her is crazy talk. Nope, we will just look at Kotori and go...oh well, my plan to bring back my sister in the body of a nasty looking alien failed, who cares what this pile of goo does.

Oh duh. Little sister. Of course.

Literally 6 seconds later Chisato and Valkyria walk by Neko and Kazumi who don't even try to hide. No they just walk up to the dude like it is talking time. Bish do you not see the pile of Hatsuna back at the lab? I guess not. They are too stupid to live folks. They are going to talk Chisato to death. I mean I don't even know at this point. I really don't. I also don't know why Chisato just doesn't attempt to shoot people in the head. I know that Neko can break things but she is so distraught about dead Kotori she could have gotten caught off guard. Personally I think that Chisato should watch and make sure Valkyria takes out the witches because she keeps failing. Instead he walks away and only Kazumi is cut in half. CUT IN HALF FOLKS! Why is Neko spared? Because Valkyria and Neko are sisters. DUH! I mean didn't you see all the flashbacks of Ryouta and Neko AND VALKYRIA?! Yeah I didn't either.

Hang on to what?!

When Kotori unplugged herself the lights in the sky stopped which caused the people in black to stop praying and I guess it woke Ryouta up from his unconsciousness. Nanami and her...whatever self helps guide Ryouta through the mansion. Or dead girl lane I should say. First up is Kotori who is taking the slowest to die out of everyone in the series. Like um a monster is coming out of your back and you are melting. I just don't think you were able to stay...put together long enough to talk to Ryouta. Ryouta seems to think the world is not worth saving without Kotori which I strongly disagree with, especially since he thinks there are no more pills ever. Kotori says her peace and is happy everyone else will get to live. ENTER THE DYING KAZUMI. Okay maybe she was taking longer to die that Kotori seeing how she was CUT IN HALF. Not legs cut off but at the waist folks. Do the producers of this show not understand how the human body works? Clearly Ryouta doesn't because he tells Kazumi he will come back for her later. Sure, to bury her you mean.

A lot of "miracles" are happening on my screen right now.

Then a bunch of things start to happen. We see Kana losing her mind because she must see everyone dying and she wants to kill herself too. At first when I saw this episode I thought Kogoro had gone over to the conservatory to tell the gang about the pills and he was the one standing over Kana when she begged to die. That wasn't the case obviously. We then see Valkyria carrying Neko outside and thinking about how she cares about Chisato so much. Because one time they were testing...I guess how far a witch can melt before they can reverse the process. Clearly someone has been watching Total Recall one too many times. That is why Valkyria cares for the man, he saved her once. Once. I am sure he has done other things to her since then but she doesn't care. She doesn't even care a few minutes later when Chisato wants to kill Neko still and after Ryouta saves the day she is told all the man cares about is his dead sister and not her. The girl has a bad case of the crazies ya'll.

It is let's make a deal up in here folks.

After it is clear that Chisato is thinking about more alien sisters and Valkyria is cackling about her love it is finally Neko and Ryouta killing time. Neko tries to throw the final switch on her harnest that will unleash her ultimate powers but probably kill her. By probably I mean 99.9 percent chance of killing her. Only Valkyria is playing with her food and not instantly killing the duo like she should. Because folks. We need to make sure that Kana has enough time to come and save the day. Yes folks KANA. The girl is walking and talking now. Since this show is crap I don't know why she can do this. I just figured they put her harnest in wrong and caused her to be paralyzed and they learned from their mistake and the other witches are fine. But no folks. All Kana had to do was throw her own switch and TADA her legs work and her powers don't. Definitely like a light switch. So very odd. So Kazumi knew that Kana could do this, about the switch controlling the powers and didn't bother to tell anyone else this. I see.

That looks fun....

Since Kana blocked the attack for about 1 second Neko had the time to flip her own switch and turn into glowy Neko mode. And glowing Neko is a powerful one. Guess the girl isn't going to blow up and die. Now that Neko has access to her powers she now remembers all the things she has forgotten in life, including Ryouta. Cue the sappy moment here despite everything still being scary and creepy. I am just going to assume her magic blocked the memory portion of her brain and didn't actually erase said memories so maybe she can get better later? Anyway Neko and Ryouta have a moment and then Neko gets back to kicking Valkyria's ass which surprises the girl. Can we get a flashback of the sisters together? Yeah didn't think so.

.....Why does he get a "hero" ending?!

Valkyria was going to make a comeback but....the people in black decided to show up and stop being cowards. That gave them 8 seconds of nonmagical use time to kill Valkyria. Clearly the best use of their time was to stand it one spot and shot from the hip. In a moment of magical animeness Chisato's heart grew three sizes and he used his body to protect Valkyria. Because ten seconds ago he was all I hate everyone and I only care about my dead sister. He doesn't remind me of...whoever Nanami was hanging out with, a possibility of changing one day. Chisato was pretty set in his evilness and I don't appreciate him having a moment where he doesn't suck. He should have been accidentally shot in the head. Either way Valkyria would have been upset that he was dead. DO NOT LIKE.

Because he was such a great person...

After Chisato and his shot 3956 self talks to Valkyria and dies...it is time for more crazy. See this girl has 8..11? kinds of magic in her and she is finally not afraid to use them. Her loyalty is to a man that helped performed experiments on herself and her sister, countless other girls. This dear sister of hers....chopped liver. Everything is chopped liver. I am going to chalk this up to the fact that Valkyria MELTED and was put back together. Something didn't get put back together right. She is off to destroy the world with her dark matter since Mr. Anti-magic boy needs to recharge or something. OH WAIT! We have Neko the glowy now. Surely she can stop this sister of hers. Probably at a great danger to herself so Ryouta has to say no don't do it!!! Well she can either die next to you on the ground or she can die saving you. Do the math please. I am sure Kana was not happy with this either but Ryouta and Neko needed their moment. Thanks for never forgetting me, time to die in this amazing battle!

The whole final battle right here folks.

This ultimate battle, the powers between good and evil, Neko and her sister Valkyria/Mako....do you know how long it lasted? Guess folks. Just guess. Did you say 10 seconds? WOOHOO you are right. I mean....I thought Valkyria has 8 magical powers in her. I thought Neko was just as super but needed to unleash it with the 99.9 percent chance of dying. You would think this much magic would end in some massive battle. Instead Valkyria makes her anti-matter bomb and Neko goes oh yeah I can make a blackhole. Kiss kiss Ryouta then WHOOSH Neko flies to Valkyria, says lets die together sister,...and that is it. The two powers then cancel each other out and that is the massive power/battle. TADA! All that amazing talk and the battle was over if you blinked your eye. Was there no budget left for some special effects? I mean I guess there were only 5 seconds left to the show so we needed to get the battle over with so Ryouta could have his moment in holding Neko's hand and saving her this time. You know so the next scene we can find out that Neko blasted all her memories out of her brain with her magic and she has no idea who he is. Really the scene went by just that fast. No time to feel any emotion or sympathy in Ryouta's situation. Here is he fighting for a girl and finally getting her back memories intact only for her to forget 5 seconds later. It was all too much, a yoyo of emotions that were crammed down our throats at the speed of sad. So...yeah Ryouta is sad.

Ryouta helped to save the world and this is his reward REJOICE!

Then the episode ends. No seriously the series ends about 2 minutes after Ryouta cries that Neko has forgotten him and that is being generous. So do you know what was covered in that time period at the speed of fast? The lab. Just what were they doing? I don't know. I don't know what the people in black are doing or what the lab is doing. Xxx was off doing his own thing and really wasn't doing the lab's dirty work. And it was Chisato's house that got blown to hell not the lab. There are still other witches and what not right? Was the giant alien still alive in the tub? I mean....what was up with that anyway since the important creatures were in the witch's necks. More like a troll. So there is no conclusion on what happens with the lab. It just is still there which means I guess there is room for a season 2. Scary. Oh and also rushed through was Kogoro being able to make the pills. Like look at me I can make the pills now so you two witches can live with Ryouta happily now. Well not exactly happily since Neko lost her memories again. But Kana and her sorta new ability to walk again...you will be AOKAY. Cut to Ryouta, Neko, and Kana looking at the stars and we all know everything will eventually reach....well doom since Neko and Kana still have aliens inside of them and will one day break out but who needs that when we got happy endings. Too bad that Kotori, Kazumi, and Hatsuna couldn't be there....

WHAT THE HELL IS THIS CRAP?!

OH WAIT FOLKS! Just wait indeed!!!! The last scene when Ryouta took amnesia Neko and not strong enough to walk Kana to look at the stars...he was not pushing Kana in the wheelchair. Do you know who was taking care of the girl? Kazumi and Hatsuna. Yeah folks. They are alive. ALIVE! Hatsuna died in episode 12 and Kazumi was cut in half. So what the hell folks. JUST WHAT THE HELL! I know that Kana had to have someone flip her harnest to....suddenly walk mode but I thought it was Kogoro as he was the only one who knew about the witches. Hatsuna got hung up when she healed Ryouta. It was stated that she would actually die if she was unplugged. Technically she didn't get unplugged but the result was the same. She melted into a giant pile of goo on the ground and died. That process that Kogoro stated that would break down her body without the pills happened when she used all her magic to heal Ryouta and herself earlier. So how was that pile of goo that was DEAD able to regenerate (and I use that word....with confusion as she would have to reconstitute her entire body, not mend simply broken things and kick start her own heart after her soul didn't move on from the after life), find out where the gang went despite being that injured and out of magic (plus did she even KNOW where they went) to find Kazumi who was LONG DEAD by the time Hatsuna dragged herself and heal her wounds while being able to do CPR since Kazumi WAS SUPER DEAD (not merely dead like Ryouta) before melting again into a bag of goo?! Because really folks REALLY!!! How the hell did this happen? Kana was quite cut in half and couldn't heal herself. So Neko didn't die and that was the magical miracle. But Oprah was all like you get a miracle and you get a miracle. Miracles for everyone. WHY WERE KAZUMI AND HATSUNA THERE AND ALIVE WITH THE REST?!

This is seriously the end? Not explanation or anything?

So folks...yeah. I had some eyerolling moments during the show but I kept with it. Like wow it is refreshing that teenagers are sorta stupid and don't have all the answers. It seemed more realistic to me. I probably could put aside all the fanservice if Kazumi wasn't so over the top about it. But the show never really delivered what was promised. Valkyria was supposed to be this awesome witch with awesome powers but she was beaten in 2 episodes. STOP TALKING AND ATTACK. I would have liked Chisato better if he died an asshole. What is with this last ditch effort at redemption?! This giant alien is growing in Kotori and all she has to do is eject herself and POOF it dies...despite the fact it was mostly out of her and could have eaten the goop her. Not to mention Chisato should have tied down the girl to prevent this from happening. Has he not been watching, that these girls love dying for each other?! Why couldn't Kana walk? Was she shot before Neko came to rescue her? Okay I can believe that. But why would giving up her visions of the future make her able to walk again? It's not like the bullet was stuck in her body and she gave up her psychic powers to move the bullet out of her body. Just no. No. And Kana and Hatsuna being alive? I can't folks. I can't. Not at all. The entire series was so rushed and nothing was explained. All left up in the air which could work if there was a second season. But if there was going to be a second season then why cram so much information into the last two episodes? I rather things end on a cliffhanger, Valkyria saying hello to Neko. Instead we got so many barely explored topics and themes that everything ends in a giant mess with no satisfying...anything really. What is the point indeed folks?

Clearly I have a lot of opinions on this folks. I have not read the manga but I am sure it is halfway decent if it got green lighted to anime status. I don't know if the manga is still ongoing and they had to make a decision to end things now or to cliffhanger it for when more chapters are available. All I know is this anime doesn't reflect well on the original source material and everything is crazy. It reminds me of a Sci-Fi movie but that would be unfair since I think some are campy fun. This is just....no. Aliens can't be the answer to everything. Or magic. There were established rules and what not for this world but then....it all flew out the window with sister brains, nondead girls, and a big finale of bleh. Not impressed folks. Not impressed at all.

Gokukoku no Brynhildr episode 12: Everyone needs a brain condom

How about more doing and less talking?

Seriously folks. What the hell is this episode?! I don't even know. I don't even know. Maybe you shouldn't click this and read what I have to say. Just forget that this series exist, like I should have. But then you won't know how it ends and I know how bothersome not knowing is. What to do what to do. Well if you do read this blog post about Gokukoku no Brynhildr episode 12 be prepared for....a lot. A lot of insanity. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Because he's the bad guy?

Episode Summary Crack Tenchi Style: Oh snap Valkyria is in our secret hideout and she looks an awful lot like Neko. Neko doesn't remember Valkyria but Valkyria is all boo hooing instead of explaining why this matters. Mr. Creepy walks in and is like whats up my former bitches, time to die. Valkyria points out that #1107 (47?) Kotori is right there so she should get sex and kisses and maybe crepes. Wait Kotori is the chosen one? Mr. Creepy looks bored and tells Valkyria to get to killing. She is not happy that this order includes Neko but appears it is not chicks before dicks with her. Hatsuna pokes her head around the corner as if to say what's up....and sees what is really up. Ryouta forms a plan and knows that his extensive time spent with Hatsuna will allow her to get it without words. Ryouta throws himself on the ground and tells Mr. Creepy he wants to live and doesn't care what happens to these hoes. As the rest of the girls look on Hatsuna is like score, I can hang up Valkyria from behind and we will all live happily ever after for the next week. Hatsuna and her ninja skills almost accomplish this but she finds out Valkyria has some custom made harnest, not the tired old rags the rest have. Valkyria cuts Hatsuna in half again, like bitch didn't I already kill you once. Mr. Creepy reminds Valkyria it is the killing hour and to get to it. Kotori tries to sacrifice herself and Ryouta begs Mr. Creepy to allow the girls to live, that they just want to be normal and go to school and be naked all the time around him. Valkyria responds by attempting to kill everyone but only hitting Ryouta on his side. Probably a lot of his side but we can't be seeing the actual carnage folks. All the girls start to cry and Mr. Creepy sorta watches this take place instead of immediately taking action. All the girls take their time to sob over Ryouta while Valkyria sorta looks confused. Before she can kill everyone but the all important Kotori her magic is disabled and some badly dressed nuns/people in black pop in. Mr. Creepy and Valkyria seem to understand who they are and that they have an Anti Magic person with them, a young boy. Before the young boy can look all smug Mr. Creepy done shots the boy and Valkyria disappears herself, Mr. Creepy, and Kotori away. Ryouta is pretty much dying on the ground at this point and all the remaining girls are heartbroken. The random German people that arrived are busy yelling at the boy for being shot and not probably stopping Valkyria because THEY wanted to kill all the witches. Kazumi looks like she wants to off herself because there is no hope while Neko begs Ryouta to hang on.

Well...if that's the case...

As Ryouta starts to die Nanami appears to him as she lives in his brain. She tells him she knows how to stop Valkyria, that there are only two witches the lab really fears. Kotori is one and Neko is the other because she has super awesome powers. Ryouta dies before he can tell Neko what he knows or before Nanami finishes talking. Hatsuna and her nondead self appears on the staircase because you know how she was upstairs during all of this and not cut in half on the floor directly behind Ryouta. She is all like oh Ryouta's heart stopped. That's fine. I can totally save him and things will be great. Well maybe. Because my magic can heal others too but since he is so hurt I will die in the process. Without any tears or regrets or really any emotions at all Hatsuna puts her hands INTO Ryouta and heals him Jason X style while she melts in a puddle on the ground. Ryouta is still dead so Kana the forgotten tells the girls to do CPR on his ass. Soon Neko and Kazumi get him back to not being dead so he can feel awful about himself for allowing Hatsuna to die. Now that Ryouta is okay the German or whoever they are people awkwardly remind the group they are here to kill them all and to please pay attention. What is the point of this all?! Turns out these people used to work at the lab but once they found out how insane everyone is they deflected. They explain to mainly Ryouta that the lab is breeding witches so they can be hosts for some sort of aliens. See the aliens made us once ago, look it up in a book. The lab was waiting for a certain kind of gooey alien to be born, the queen. And once the queen hatched all life on Earth would break down worse than Orange Tang and it would be wonderful. And this queen alien thing is inside of Kotori. So to save the world all the witches have to die. Neko, Kazumi, and Kana start on fresh tears while Ryouta is still convinced everything will be okay and he can save the day. No really he can folks. These random saviors of the world argue over when Kotori's alien will hatch and if they have time. Kazumi decides NOW she has the ability to hack into files and find Mr. Creepy despite the lab tracking their every move. She hooks herself up and fights off another computer witch and gets the location of Mr. Creepy. How dare his parents have a summer house. Ryouta tells the saviors of the universe that since they got the information they should be allowed to try to save Kotori. Yeah because that makes no sense. Everyone but Kana hop into the helicopter to their doom. Elsewhere the league of very important chair people are explaining the plot of the series to Mr. Creepy in case he didn't know. They think that making this alien will help reset the world back to how it should be. Maybe they have special suits that will save them. Mr. Creepy seems to have other plans as he waits for Kotori to wake up. See it turns out that someone he used to knnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnow died but he kept her brain alive by cutting her head off and feeding it healthy food. Then...he did something and put the dead girl's consciousness in Kotori's brain so the queen alien can be the dead girl? After pinching myself to see if this was real life I lost track of where I was and what was happening but the dead girl MIGHT not be in Kotori now? Maybe it is Valkyria who is creepin behind the doors? I don't know but Kotori wakes up and Mr. Creepy explains to her how she will give birth to something awful and no one else's life matters but the dead girl. Kotori very slowly misses the point and asks if Valkyria matters. Mr. Creepy is like um no bitch only giant alien queens who will destroy the world and make life worth living matter. Valkyria is upset but TADA Kotori starts to glow blue, indicating that she is about ready to give birth to this creature. And by give birth I mean this thing is suppose to eat her. THE END!

What the hell did I just watch? No really. Really folks. What the hell did I just watch? I feel as if I lost about 10 IQ points by watching that hot mess. It was like Sharknedo on crack with aliens. Ghost of Mars looks like a masterpiece compared to...THIS. I mean...where to start, where to start?! X__X

I guess I should start at the beginning. Or find some acid to trip on so things can make a bit more sense than they do right now in my brain. Valkyria and her 389248 kinds of magics has popped into the conservatory. It turns out that she was NOT on the helicopter and she has the ability to move others and herself. Makes Kotori's power looks even more lame yes? HAHA poor Kotori. But yes hello there Neko. This would be Valkyria talking to Neko who obviously doesn't remember the girl. Because Neko can't even remember to own more than one pair of clothing. Is this Valkyria/Mako person a sister or a friend? HMMMM I guess it doesn't matter because Ryouta is obliged to save all the womenz.

Before Ryouta can even begin to reason with Valkyria Mr. Creepy walks in. I guess I could start using his name since there are so many episodes left. Mr. Chisato and his boring entrance is like....get #1107 or whatever number he said and kill the others. This includes Neko which makes Valkyria sad. You didn't say anything about killing Neko!!! Yeah folks, it turns out that Neko is not what Chisato wants. It was....KOTORI. Mog eating my words is nasty. They taste like...well I don't know. Not something yummy. Valkyria is upset that she is being ordered to kill Neko but was willing to go through it for Chisato. I am thinking she doesn't have a split personality, just in love with Chisato and insane.

Ryouta and his teenage self things he has all the plans. All the amazing plans of world. He throws himself on the ground and begs Chisato to not kill him, he doesn't even know these bitches. The old distract everyone with crazy while someone sneaks up behind the witch and hangs them up. It has worked before so you can't really blame Ryouta. And since Hatsuna, the girl late to all the commotion, can glue herself back together Ryouta can fling himself on the ground with his tears and Hatsuna can save the day. What could go wrong with this amazing plan of ingenuity?

How come hers is better than ours?!

Turns out that Valkyria has the best harnest out of all the witches. It is blinged out like crazy and Hatsuna has no idea how to hang her up. She really shouldn't have gotten that close with all of Valkyria's amazing powers and Chisato's ability to plan ahead but meh. Hatsuna still ended up sliced and diced on the ground. Chisato was not really impressed with these antics and wants Valkyria to hurry up and kill everyone. They got things to do. Neko and her little blasty powers aren't that impressive and Kotori pretending to sacrifice herself was funny too. Valkyria turns a normal mountain in a volcano, I don't think a 5 second heard start is going to help. Instead Chisato will tell Valkyria to start the killing and with slight regret in her eyes she does. Only Ryouta pushes Neko out of the way and gets a chunk of his side blasted away for his effort. OH SNAP!

HOW DARE YOU CHEAT!

Chisato does not use his time wisely and immediately attack again. He probably should have since helicopters are rather loud and can't he hear the cavalry arriving? He didn't pause too long, like some villains do when they think they have the upper hand. Still hesitation is hesitation and POOF Valkyria is unable to blow the rest of the witches away. Too bad Chisato doesn't have a gun or anything. BAM! We got some new characters up in this episode. I don't know if they are the people in the black coats from Akihibara or if they just work for them. Surely it doesn't matter because this series is ending next episode. Anyway they are here to kill the witches, all of them. Hand Kotori over now. Because this show is magical they brought along a magical boy who stops magic powers from working. That is very handy because witches has proven to be useless without their magic, very confused and child like. And Chisato does not have a gun so this is a real victory. Color me surprised and purple when this anti magical boy gets shot by Chisato. I mean....why didn't Chisato just SHOOT Neko when she was all crying over Ryouta? Because folks. Because. Being shot means the magical boy can't stop Valkyria from using one of her 934 magics to teleport Kotori, Chisato, and herself away. It's a shame that Kotori doesn't have the ability or intelligence to switch places with Mr. Non Magic Boy. Haha especially if Valkyria was flying. Then Valkyia, Chisato, and Mr. Non Magic Boy could have all died weee! This did not happen but don't worry, more craziness did.

But she'll probably die so....

Once those three GTFO Ryouta dying on the floor is very sad again. Please accept our tears and live on in our hearts Ryouta. Neko tells Ryouta to hang on, that it's only a flesh wound. I am pretty sure once your insides are on the outside it is game over but Neko hasn't had much schooling so maybe she doesn't know that. Ryouta is still super popular in his time of death though as Nanami the.....witch that lives on in his brain pops up to tell him what is up. All the information she gives him is information she could have given him the first time she talked to him. Instead she programs herself to talk to Ryouta when all is lost. Or half his organs anyway. Her important information on how they can live involves Neko and how she is strong enough to defeat Valkyria. She just has all the magic stored up in her and locked away because she is so powerful. Does that mean Neko has a super queen in her too because otherwise I would kill Neko outright, before she left the lab on a suspicious bus. I wonder if Neko uses all of this new magic will she completely lose every memory she has. I bet Valkyria receives them instead and that will explain the split personality.

What a world what a world!!!!

Do you know what Ryouta does with this information? Nothing. He dies. I would hope so since he lost part of his side there. The random people in black must be baddies as they allowed the girls to have their moment of NOOOO instead of taking out their targets. But all is not lost because Hatsuna has returned from upstairs. Yeah upstairs folks. She takes the news of dead Ryouta well even though he is her boyfriend of 5 minutes. His heart just stopped beating ya'll, no big deal. It's not like they can jump it as he still has a giant hole in his body. Don't worry though guys...Hatsuna's healing magic can work on other people. Once though. Or maybe just once in this instance because Ryouta is that injured. Ryouta can be healed if Hatsuna uses all her magic and melts. I am not sure why this is. I mean I know this has to happen because the opening song now is a lie and it's more dramatic but since Hatsuna was unkillable except in two circumstances...you know, this just seemed special and slapped together. Not to mention creepy as Hatsuna was okay with dying. She had enough pills to maybe last Kogoro making new pills. But I guess those 5 minutes she spent with Ryouta really mattered as she casually laid her life down for the boy. I'm melting, i'm melting what a world what a world.

Okay this makes sense but just wait. They keep talking.

After Ryouta is healed, given the breath of life, and news (well not really news) that Hatsuna has died for him..it is time for the rest of the witches to die. Since Ryouta is armed with machine guns and mass weapons for war the people in black are super scared of his ability to stop them. Enough so that they will take the time to tell everyone what is up and why they want to kill witches. Or make this show insane. The only way this story could have gotten any more convoluted is if Neko's real name was Katniss and she was on the run because she turned her kingdom to ice after watching a creepy video that would lead to her death in 7 days unless she finds Neo and saves Princess Peach. That was my reaction while watching this episode. Like this entire series might have had a good premise, slightly...special with teenagers making questionable decisions. But then BAM the series is coming to an end and we barely have touched any of the major plot points because boobies and Ryouta is amazing.

So folks....aliens. Alien remains that were found 100 years ago weren't from recent alien visits. Or if it was it doesn't matter. Because aliens MADE humans. It is like the plot of Prometheus but with breasts and no adults. According to the League of Chairpeople later they think they are carrying out the alien's plan, making some sort of human race or maybe just making it how the aliens would have wanted it. But these people in black robes with bad attitudes used to work for the lab and found out what would happen if the lab succeeded. Alien embryos were planted in the girls' necks to breed mature aliens. Like Aliens. Obviously since everyone was running around and killing witches making a superior human race was not in the cards. Nope they were trying to make a Queen Alien that would be born and turn everyone back into ooze, like what happens to the witches when they melt. Because folks. Because.

Is Ryouta really in the position for making rules and demands?

The girls did not take the news well. I don't think I would have either. An alien is in my body and I will turn into a giant monster when it eventually happens. So if they have the pills or not it doesn't matter. They are going to die. Kill us now. However Ryouta and his logical brain still thinks they will be okay. They will just put them in stasis on the ship and on route to Earth they can do an operate since this is Alien 3 and Alien Resurrection. Oh and Ryouta has to rescue Kotori who SURPRISE has the Queen inside of her. The one they should kill the most Ryouta wants to save. Kazumi manages to pull herself together to locate Chisato because at this point does it matter anymore? Their hiding spot has been discovered. What I thought was the most special was the people in black robes didn't gun everyone down after receiving this information. That is what I would have done to save the world. Instead they are working with Ryouta because. Just because. Just like Hatsuna didn't know Kotori was worth mentioning and Kana can move. Details that will come to nothing.

I am pretty sure that is now how science works...

Back in space the Chair people sorta yell at Chisato and talk about their creepy plan more so the audience can really be messed up and not care. Like okay you are all insane, no one cares. Instead I will focus more on Chisato and how he is individually insane. Remember that Kogoro used to work with him and the man was brilliant. Cared about nothing in life but finding out the secrets of the world. Even if it cost the world it's life. Well it turns out that Chisato does care about something. Some dead girl. Like super dead girl. And after watching an episode of the Walking Dead Chisato decided he could keep the girl alive by making sure her brain was okay, in tact. Until he could put it in a witch's brain or an alien brain. Do these aliens even have brains? I am sure it is in the alien as the Queen will be the only thing left alive after the great Tanging. Why Chisato why. How does this make any sense?! And lets pretend this does work. Will this girl (probably your sister) want to be alive in any way after all the horror you have done? Like MOG my brother killed the world and I am giant alien gross thing doomed to be alone. Why is this happening to my soul?!

Kotori might have lost her memories or her own mind because she tried to reason to Kogoro. Like this story of craziness was somewhat sad to her. Like bitch you should be sad there is an alien Queen growing inside your neck. Stop worrying about how Valkyria is feeling about all of this. Like really folks....really. The only thing that could happen now that would cause me to roll my eyes into the back of my head is if this Queen hatched RIGHT NOW. It could be years or next week but definitely not today so Ryouta has time to save her. Then....like some sick joke..Kotori glows blue. It is alien time people. Of course it is!!! My brain folks...my brain...I just can't.

Gokukoku no Brynhildr episode 11

Something super important. Wouldn't it be funny if it were you? XD

X___X It has been scary in terms of weather in my part of the woods today. Like every 5 seconds the tv had a storm warning for our area. That didn't stop my neighbor from going outside and having the longest/loudest conversation on the phone ever though....she could have been struck by lightening. Thankfully (sadly?) she was not and I got to listen to her wonderful conversations in between thunder strikes and goals being scored on TV. Oh and in between trying to blog another anime episode. GO ME!! What is up on the distractometer? Why it is Gokukoku no Brynhildr episode 11. Spoilers for new friends and dwindling pills.

Episode Summary: Valkyria is happily enjoying her freedom when some plain looking cops appear. Apparently the large pile of bodies nearby makes her look suspicious. Valkyria is like how dare you interrupt my fun and start to gather antimatter in her hands. The cops are like hmm what is this...and the entire side of the mountain blows up. Valkyria sorta flies into the water laughing while everyone looks on in horror including other cops that were taking care of the witch body part pile. As they are watching the explosion one witch.....takes her sliced off half and glues it back to her body. She sees her beacon got blasted off by Valkyria so it is escape time. Back at the conservatory the girls and Ryouta look on the internet about this violent explosion and the girls assume that Valkyria did this. Even though she is supposed to be asleep deep in the lab all signs point to her since she can do like 7 or 8 kinds of magics. Surely she is hunting them down and there will be nothing they can do about this. Elsewhere Mr. Creepy (whose name is actually mentioned this episode but you know) is taken to task in front of the Chair Committee. Everyone is really upset about these 100 dead people, dead witches and letting Valkyria run free. They threaten to kill him...so he awaits their next orders. The witch that glued herself back together is seen getting off a bus near the conservatory. When she was lying in pieces on the ground Valkyria and her witch hunting magic stated that she felt 4 witches in said conservatory so....Ms. Pieces has decided to see if there are witches in the area. Up the steps she goes and when she walks inside everyone is lying in a pool of blood. She freaks out and tries to help them but Kazumi is like AW it's not Valkyria, everyone get up. False alarm. Ryouta and the others question how this would protect them from Valkyria while Kazumi recognizes the girl as Hatsuna. She is apparently a level A witch so why is she here? She explains that she was guarding Valkyria but she has gone away, looking for #1107. She has no idea what 1107 is but...here she is. Hatsuna seems to know all the girls but Kotori which Ryouta finds odd. Hatsuna doesn't know what to make of Ryouta but the other girls vouch for him. Kazumi has a meltdown as they have another witch to give pills which Ryouta points out represents her growth as a person. Embarrassed Kazumi is like clean this room/paint as we go wash up and make some fanservice.

And then the new girl died. The end.

The girls go outside where Hatsuna makes fun of everyone's boobies because yay friendship. There is a scar on Hatsuna that the girls question so the new witch explains her magic is to regenerate. As long as she doesn't get ejected or cut off from pills she lives. Neko and the others start talking about how Ryouta has kept them alive all this time which makes Hatsuna want to know the boy more. So Hatsuna climbs to the top of some tower and pretends to be stuck so Ryouta can save her. She seems satisfied when Ryouta rushes to the top to help. Unfortunately she slips and Ryouta has a flashback of KuroNeko falling to her death. He manages to grab her but they are danging by a broken pole that is threatening to break. Hatsuna is scared but tells Ryouta to drop her, that her magic won't allow her to die. Ryouta thinks that Hatsuna is dying to save his life. Hatsuna tries to convince him but he won't take the chance. He wants to swing her to safety and then he will use both hands to climb the pole. Hatsuna tries once again to convince Ryouta but allows him to swing her to safety...and he falls to his death. Or almost death as Kotori uses her magic to switch places. Everyone is YAY as Kana had used her magic to sense Ryouta's death. Ryouta starts to talk about how Kotori's magic actually is useful in terms of science but Kotori wasn't even thinking that way which is scary. Hatsuna comes up and apologizes for nearly killing Ryouta because she wanted to test his niceness. Since no one died Ryouta forgives her. Hatsuna has the blushes and decides she likes Ryouta..and kisses him. Neko responds by destroying the rest of the tower and the other girls trying to calm her down while shooting her with eyeball lazers. Go Hatsuna. After being kissed Rentarou goes to see his UNCLE Kogoro. It turns out he remembers Nanami and how she died. He knows the importance of pills and watching Nanami has given him an idea of what the pills do. Basically there is some sort of enzyme that disolves the witches and the pills stop this enzyme. Kogoro used to know someone who did work on this enzyme and since he can get his hands on the material he can make the pills...in a month. With the new addition to their crew they have enough pills for one week. Kogoro tells Ryouta he needs to make a decision. Elsewhere Mr. Creepy (who has a name but meh) has found Valkyria. He yells at her for her obvious destruction and asks why she would do that. At first Valkyria is all pissed off and goes to use her powers on Mr. Creepy...then he slaps her and she instantly changes personalities. She cries and hugs him and basically wants forgiveness. She loves him and tells him where the “thing” is they are looking for. Back at NotARealClub the witches are talking about Ryouta visiting Kogoro and what this could mean for their pills. Neko is busy wondering what feelings really are. Ryouta returns and tells the girls about the pill progress. They are upset obviously but Kazumi wants to decide by lottery who gets to live. Hatsuna bows out of the lottery, saying she is new and what not. Turns out she picked up all her dead friend's pills when she glued herself back together and will probably survive to the next month anyway. Neko decides she doesn't want to live. Kana decides that she won't be able to live alone. And Kotori is so happy to have lived this long it's okay to die. Kazumi gets mad that all the girls insist she have the pills, making her feel greedy. Kazumi decides everyone will die in a week, after enjoying a fun summer vacation. All the girls agree and Kotori brings drinks to celebrate. She ends up spilling all the drinks on Neko and freaks out. She tries to undress Neko to clean her clothes but obviously this exposes her chest and Ryouta FINALLY sees the moles. He realizes that Neko is his long lost friend from forever ago and breaks down into sobs. He and Neko go outside where she still says she doesn't remember anything but Ryouta is okay. He remembers enough for the both of them and they can create new memories. They will just go inside and figure this all out together WOOHOO! Or or...a helicopter can come flying towards our mains and before anyone can react Valkyria will appear in the room. THE END!

The fact that any of you are alive at this point is a miracle.

So then...this show has decided that there won't be a second season and instead of cutting out some unnecessary garbage or pacing things out to 24 episodes it is just going to cram things all at once and hope it sticks. I thought that maybe things were up when the opening “song” was changed as that isn't typical for a 12/13 episode show but what do I know. Oh I do know that things are going way too fast and what not for it to dramatically end so soon.

And they will probably never see it again weeee!

Valkyria or Neko 3.0 is a bit deranged. I guess if I had powers like her too I wouldn't be running or hiding either. I would be like yep going to take my time and enjoy my freedom because what can those bitches do?! XD If Valkyria is the witch they send out to take out other witches and....the lab is running out of super witches I might be cocky too. Not cocky enough to gather antimatter/darkmatter in my hands but you know. Valkyria has been in the lab for a long time. She doesn't know the art of revenge and living to see another day. Time for explosions and dead bodies weee! BEST DAY EVER says Valkyria as she flies off the mountain.

Okay...now just time to sneak by the stupid and obvious cops.

The cops that weren't sent to capture a young girl and instead had to scrape dead bodies off the ground were spared. Slightly distracted by the mountain exploding into a firey mess but spared. I personally might have thrown up at the sight of so many dead bodies but maybe the censors work for them too. Then....you see it. The top of a dead girl moving the bottom part of her until the black and white bars of doom blur my vision and imply what is going on. That her body...glued itself back together. That this girl is not so dead after all. I think it should have made more disgusting noises when her body reassembled itself. But yeah folks...we got a witch with an actual magical power here. Too bad she wasn't involved with the pill stealing adventure, that would have worked out perfectly. This girl is going to glue herself back together and run away to die a slow, painful but free death.

And who was Valkyria talking too? Oh she is crazy? Never mind then.

Or or....she hoped on a bus to travel to Witch Hideout. You know, Ryouta's magical club of nothingness. Because one of Valkyria's many powers includes being able to sense other witches. Since Valkyria isn't down for killing all the witches just yet with her new found freedom she has decided to kill them later. But she cared enough to state where these girls were out loud so the not dead witch could hear Valkyria. Being alone in the world is hard so Ms. Pieces decided to see what was up. Maybe get some pills. Or maybe she could sense Ryouta and his womenz saving ways.

Oh snap is Valkyria making friends everywhere?!

When the new witch walked in she was not greeted with hugs or guns. Instead everyone was laying dead on the ground. And she freaked out. Which I thought was the point. Maybe a test to see if the witch/person walking in would care about them thus they are a friend. Then I thought to myself...Neko is friends with everyone, she doesn't need no stinkin test. No this was just Kazumi's amazing plan to protect everyone. They were surfing the web, probably typing things like How to Make Witch pills when they learned the mountain exploded in a blaze of glory. They immediately know it is Valkyria because she knows all the magic ever. Why did they automatically assume this? It could have been another witch or possible an outside source doing the damage? I mean of course they are right but they have no reason to guess the correct answer since Valkyria should be asleep in the lab. But their grand idea to survive a Valkyria encounter is to paint blood on everyone, including the boy Ryouta and pretend to be dead. Um....that sounds like a grand plan for a 5 year old. Where are the melted body parts and what not?

Is this going to be important later?

Everyone seems to accept this new witch, Hatsuna, with open arms. They have to since she is now in the opening song. I would have been a slight bit more weary as she just got done saying she was guarding Valkyria. I probably would have questioned her more on why she was here. I mean I would assume all the witches would WANT to escape the lab but as we have seen some witches aren't ready to run away or they are afraid to die. And it's not like any of the girls remember Nanami so...yeah I would be weary. Not Neko who loves everyone. Kazumi is too busy moaning at the lack of pills for all these girls which Ryouta sees a growth and a good thing. The only weird thing that anyone notes is that Hatsuna doesn't know Kotori. Why does that matter to Ryouta? Does every witch have to know every other one? When Kotori first rolled up and talked about her friend Kazumi knew that girl but the others didn't seem to show that much emotion. But Ryouta made a point of saying something so I guess it is important.

Everyone's boobs look exactly the same in this picture so...

After talking up Ryouta a bit the girls (well mostly Kazumi) command the boy to clean the room while they wash all the paint of themselves. Because fanservice has to happen every episode or else we would forget these girls have breasts. Hatsuna decides to press her luck and ability to receive pills from these girls by making fun of their breasts. I guess Kana is not eligible to be picked on because of her condition. The one that hasn't been mentioned since Kazumi implied Kana could move. After all boobie fun the girls notice that Hatsuna has a scar across her body. You know, when she glued herself back together. Do the witches at the lab not talk about their powers? Maybe since Hatsuna is a grade A witch they didn't talk or interact much. So Hatsuna explains that her powers are to regenerate. So....that means the lab sent her to watch Valkyria on purpose and the lab knows she is not dead. They could still eject Hatsuna as she explains and she would be a goner. But I guess the beacon lets them eject from long distances and the others have to ejected in real life. Still they are not out of the woods yet as Hatsuna could be useful against Valkyria.

Feel guilty Hatsuna. These girls were willing to die to give you a chance to live. Included in the lots and all doubting Ryouta.

Hatsuna has decided to not take the girls at face value when it comes to their praises for Ryouta. They seem to be alive and not a pile of mush so Ryouta has to have done something to keep them alive right? Why would they lie about that? But like a good girl who has been locked up in a lab and tortured by strangers Hatsuna isn't down for Ryouta just yet. Sure Valkyria is out there and is super dangerous. And sure they are going to run out of pills soon and all die. That doesn't mean with what little time Hatsuna has left she shouldn't investigate this person called Ryouta. Does he really save all the womenz? She needs to find out and what better way to do that than to climb a tower and pretend that she is too scared to climb down. I might have been too scared to climb down but I wouldn't have climbed up there to begin with so.....

I believe you are a good guy now. Sorry for being an unbeliever.

Whatever Hatsuna's plan was it went horribly wrong or right...when she accidentally fell off said tower. Poor Ryouta, having flashbacks of his dead friend and how he thinks it was all his fault. Hatsuna didn't mean it but maybe she should think about these things before she goes off and tests strangers. Ryouta does go after Hatsuna which lands them into a dangerous/dangling situation. Hatsuna of course can't die and suggests that Ryouta should drop her and climb to safety. She explains the situation to him but Ryouta doesn't believe her. These witches have a tendency to die for one another and even though Hatsuna just met him five seconds ago maybe she is willing to die for him. She could be lying. I think Hatsuna did enough to try and convince him so her going along with his plan to save her doesn't leave a bad taste in my mouth. Ryouta was going to get his way no matter what so it was best to listen to him before too much time passed. Oh Ryouta, always over thinking things.

I think I would be busy freaking out but Ryouta is all about the science of magic.

In the end Ryouta did manage to save Hatsuna at the expense of himself. He ended up tumbling to the ground, to certain death with WHOOSH Kotori switched places with him. I too was a bit X__x when Kotori survived the fall. I expected her to be hurt somewhat but since this is MAGICAL Kotori's state of being continued on and Ryouta's state of being stopped. Kinetic energy what? So yeah Ryouta was in shock that he wasn't dead. Yay for Kana and her ability to see the future. Does she even get hung up or does she not use her powers enough for that to happen? Anyway Hatsuna climbs down from the tower and now trusts Ryouta. She is slightly sorry for putting them at risk and Ryouta forgives her like the situation was her eating the last of the cookies. Like well no one died so I guess I forgive you. Which is good because Hatsuna wants to be part of this Ryouta harem. Like I like you. You are the first boy I have ever met who hasn't tried to hurt me so it must be love. Here have a kiss. XD No really, have a kiss and lets watch Neko lose her mind. Hatsuna can't be killed but I am sure Neko will make her suffer. And the plot moves on a break neck speed.

Ryouta takes a break from kisses and causing jealously among the ranks to see Uncle Kogoro about these darn pills. Good to know that no one has caught on to what Kogoro has doing. Everyone, you are sworn to secrecy. Don't tell the bad people anything. Anyway I KNEW Kogoro remembered Nanami. He standing off to the side, almost behind her when she died so she couldn't change his memories. And it turns out it is good that she died. Well not good in that no one should die but Kogoro is a scientist. Having...err....samples is good for research purposes. All other....samples were gone. So while Nanami dying was super sad Kogoro was able to figure out why the girls turn to goo. It has something to do with made up science because the pills could magically STOP this enzyme from killing the witches and repair extensive damage after the fact. The good news is that Kogoro can make this pill within a month now. The bad news...there are enough pills for one week if every girl took them. :( Poor Ryouta. Kogoro wasn't as concerned about the choice as the person's research he was using to come up with this pill plan. Whatever did happen to his pal Mr Creepy? HMMM!

What the hell is this crap?

Mr. Creepy has located Valkyria. I don't really know what this crazy is thinking. She is running around killing witches and tons of people but made no effort to escape. I guess when she is that powerful she doesn't need to but if...Mr. Creepy has some effect on her I would have attacked first in that case. OR RUN AWAY. I don't even know folks. Is she so crazy she isn't even thinking straight? In any event Mr. Creepy finds her alone and starts screaming at her right away. I would have been slightly scared of the magical girl that hates my guts but not Mr. Creepy. She is suffering from...something. Split personality or mind control because one slap sent Valkyria into a state of tears and listening to the evil man. I can lead you to what you want, just please love me. Alrighty then.

We are friends til the end! Of next week anyway!

So Ryouta makes his way home and has to tell all the girls that they are boned. Well all but one of them. One might make it out of this mess alive but at the cost of the other girls. I thought it was nice of Hatsuna to bow out of the lottery but then it turns out that she has quite a few pills for herself. Maybe if she shared them and everyone was in a constant state of pain and bleeding they could stretch it out so two people could live? Instead everyone was all NO I want to die so my friends can live. It came down to Kazumi being the one everyone wants to live. I guess Ryouta really didn't have to make a decision did he? I wonder if he would have picked Neko.....Anyway this was all sad and what not. These girls haven't had a great lot in life but they still have enough humanity in themselves to be self sacrificing for friends. Then by unanimous decision they decide if most of them have to die they all might as well die together. One last week of fun, who cares what Ryouta thinks!!!

Hello...sister?

This leads us up to the end of the show. During their celebration of their last week on Earth Kotori spilled drinks all over Neko which meant the girl needed to be stripped right then and there. Since all the girls only have one pair of clothing each Neko was naked and BEHOLD Ryouta finally saw Neko's moles (again)! Ryouta was so overwhelmed with the obvious truth he broke down into crazy sobs. Like...really crazy sobs. Neko didn't get very emotional at all, just simply stating she doesn't remember the boy at all. But Ryouta must have forgotten about the girls pact to die together in a week because he genuinely thinks everything is going to be okay. And just as that lovely thought hits Ryouta's brain...a helicopter containing Valkyria appears. I guess she needs to be within a certain distance for her transportation magic to work because TADA there is she folks, inside the conservatory, ready to kill some witches so Neko can be the last one standing with all the pills. Ryouta did take the time to notice that Neko and Valkyria look very familiar before freaking out. Is Neko what Mr. Creepy is looking for? Who is going to end up a melted pile of goo? Is the lab really trying to create aliens? I guess we will find out next time...maybe.
