Tenchi the Housewife's (Un)Productive Day. Alternatively the day where the World Cup took a break.

For the first time in forever....okay more like in 100 days. OKAY okay I really don't know but for the first time since the World Cup has started...there wasn't a soccer/fotball game today. Since the event started and my husband brainwashed me into caring and learning there has been at least 2 games a day. Most of the time three but now that the groups are over it went down to two which was a big adjustment to me. Well Friday rolled around today and not one game came on. NOT ONE GAME! What is this?! What am I to do?!?!?
 photo tenchiday5_zpscdac0cd4.jpg
It's never a flesh wound.
After losing my mind and then wondering why I am losing my mind over sports I decided it was going to be a productive day. In a way it was...but not in an anime blogging away. OBVIOUSLY since I didn't post any. I blame that on the lack of fotball since I wasn't required to be in my seat all day which would have put me in a near computer. So how does a crazy girl spend her time? Easy. By doing a little bit of everything and finishing nothing.
 photo tenchiday4_zps5382052c.jpg
But the feels?!
Despite no anime being posted today some writing did get done. I am mostly done typing Isshuukan Friends episode 12, the last episode of the series. Maybe season given the ending. It mostly ended BLAH for me so I am really not that motivated to hurry up and get it done. Even though I should be since I need to watch the previews for the next anime season that is rolling on soon. Just..I think this season of anime wasn't as amazing for me and coupled with my bleh attitude it was hard to get excited about things.

Black Bullet episode 11 has been watched and halfway blogged. The animation besides Kisara's hair is nice for this show and while it is not as dumb as another show I am watching the idea that human beings can be this stupid hurts my skull. Like how can this really be happening if anyone wants to live. So my lack of faith in the human race is keeping me from hurrying up with this show.
 photo tenchiday3_zpsfc5a1c99.jpg
That would be my brain after watching episode 12...
I watched Brynhildr in the Darkness episode 12 and stared into space for about 239 hours after the fact. I am still processing how awful and stupid and amazingly out of this world the episode was. I think I finished typing all the words up, I just need to make the screenies which would require me to witness the insanity again and I have a hard enough time sleeping as it is. So you know..anime is special at the house of Tenchi.

Back when I first got le fired I spent the first week cleaning my kitchen. Especially going through each label and throwing away expired food. The oldest thing we had was something from 5 years ago...when we moved in here. YAY GROSS! So today I decided I would organized all the bathroom cabinets. I like taking all the stuff home from hotels but it looked so cluttered. I had to make a system. And yes throw away things that got old. Did you know that cough drops expired? Good news is my husband won't have to buy toothpaste or deodorant again for about 3 years. X___X

While I was organizing I was lead to the hallway closet which is pretty much a disaster too. I noticed all these picture frames with no pics in them and I was like...why did I spend money on things to have them gather dust in the closet?! So I cleaned off some counter space and spruced up the living room a bit with pictures of my friends. Some of them are rather...dated so I need to get to printing some new pictures out. One friend has no pictures at all since we met in the last 3 years. X___X

Well while doing that I found this album that is labeled Happily Ever After. I then remembered I got it as a wedding gift and I declared I would only put pics of my husband and I in that album, about 4 a year for each year after our marriage. Cute idea right. Do you know when the last time I added a picture was? November 2010. MOG FOLKS!! What is wrong with me?! :( I am such a slacker. Clearly I needed to find more pictures.

This lead to me find every single CD of pictures we have in this house, labeling them with the correct date, and picking out new pictures to put in said album. Of course all these discs were mixed in with game discs or blank discs so this took quite a while. Plus I am missing all of the year 2012. Where did it go?! 2013 and on are on the computer still which I need to fix by saving them in case this computer dies for good. But yeah folks...I went through a lot of pictures...
 photo tenchiday2_zpsd70eee1c.jpg
What the heck is this face?!
I went through all these pictures while watching Mulan 2 and eating dinner. After watching the horribleness that is The Little Mermaid 2 and Cinderella 2 I swore of direct to DVD sequels. Well I guess I am a liar. And I hate myself. While this movie wasn't as bad as the two I just mentioned...it didn't need to be made. Just no folks. The art was bad, the plot was all over the place, and they flat out reused another song. Like we are all out of ideas for new songs, have a recycled ones. Since it was so bad looking through the pictures was a nice distraction. Especially since my husband and I like to look the same in all the pictures we take which makes them all sorta bleed together.

Looking at all these pictures and what not made me sorta sad. My Grandfather is no longer with us and my grandmother had eye surgery this week. Without the surgery she would definitely go blind but we haven't gotten the results on if she is going to be okay. I decided to write another letter to my grandmother which was harder than it is sounds. I mean someone might be reading to her from now on but I don't to sound doom and gloom. Gotta have hope without being delusional you. Add in the fact that my friend (the one who made the banners for this blog and did the coding since I am special) had her baby about 2.5 months early and the baby is so tiny and I feel as if I have no reason ever to complain about things. I know that is impossible and that everyone complains about their lives and if you compared yourself to others all the time you would come out about even with having it worse than others and having it better. Still just meh.
 photo tenchiday_zpsd8cee682.jpg
I will punch you all in your faceless faces.
For instance I (and Duffy) were cleaning the house today and it came time to take the trash out. Every single time I take out the trash I end up spending at least 10 extra minutes out there throwing other people's trash away. I have no idea why none of my neighbors can accomplish the task of opening the door on the compactor, throwing their trash to the bottom of the compactor, and closing the door. All of this seems impossible to my moronic neighbors so I am constantly picking up bags covered in maggots and gagging as I spy diapers and condoms oozing from holes in said bags. Sometimes the bags are so heavy I can't even pick them up. But I try as we keep getting letters saying if we keep leaving trash on the curb we will all be fined. Well our HOA fee will increase. I hate everyone.

Slap in the information that my neighbors dog wakes me up at the crack of dawn each and every morning and that my husband came home from work and went directly to bed with a massive headache and....my day was special. X___X But boring. Not amazing. Certainly not Big Brother worthy. Unless you count some of the pics I was looking at today. Also SURPRISE some of the Big Brother contestants are bigots. Shocking I know. So there you have it folks. That is how I can have a super productive day but nothing really gets done. XD Maybe things will appear to get done....tomorrow? It's only...well 8 hours away.

The World Cup Tenchi Style

Hello there my lovely readers. I am going to let you in on a little secret.....I am not a big sports fan. Shocking I know. I have never, ever watched a football (American) game in it's entirity. I guess if you were to add up all the minutes I have accidentally watched of major sports in the United States it might equal a minute. More if you count some sports movies that I have watched (might have been a major Mighty Ducks girl in my day). When the Olympics rolls around every two years I watch as much of the coverage I can then I crawl back to my couch and return to my potato ways with reality shows and anime episodes.
 photo yaysoccer_zpsa43069f4.jpg
World Cup? But I thought we only liked the Olympics...
The husband threw me a curve ball this year. Turns out he LOVES the World Cup. Not sure where this came from as I have known him for 15 years, been with him for 13 years, and been married for 8 years at this point. So yeah...the picture above depicts how I reacted to the news that my husband was planning on watching as many games as possible on our big TV in the living room for the next month. Will I be banished to the bedroom/tiny TV, alone and forgotten all that time?! Lets find out. X___X
 photo woohoosports_zps969ee633.jpg
MOG WOOHOO!!!! Look at that! The United States made a last minute goal to win the match and the sense of national pride surging through me exited through my hands in the form of a fist pump!
Yeah.....clearly I have been taking over by monsters guys. I am actually LEARNING about soccer and have preferences to commentators and officials. Life is scary in my head right now.
 photo okaysoccer_zpsb72735f9.jpg
Here are some artist renderings of what I have learned about soccer in the past two weeks or so. These artist renderings took 3 hours because I have skill. Here is a normal soccer player running around and hitting the ball with his head. It doesn't matter how fast the ball is going. He hits it every time and it doesn't hurt. He just keeps right on playing.
 photo playingsoccer_zpsc0d35574.jpg
Here are two soccer players trying to get control of the ball. They are not moving very fast and brush up against each other trying to get the ball.
 photo soccerowie_zps4719590d.jpg
Suddenly and each and every time this happens one party falls to the ground in indescribable pain, unable to move properly for the rest of the play. The amount of tears and pained faces increases if said party has no goals or they are winning and needing to waste time on the clock.
 photo soccerinjustice_zps61a8b059.jpg
Because all the players are men and real men don't cry the officials know these man tears are real and yellow cards the other guy. The other guy gets really mad because he was trying to play the game and not hurt the other player and if he was going to get in trouble anyway he should have played harder. Insert grumblings and glares across team lines.
 photo headkick_zps90647f29.jpg
Here is a soccer player obviously in control of the ball. A player from the other team comes out of nowhere and does something unsoccer related and obviously aggressive as if they are all brightly colored ninjas instead of soccer players.
 photo 687ab7ff-530d-47e3-8c82-3746fed061e2_zps1f5f7206.jpg
The hit player is unable to defend himself as he is actually hurt on the ground. The rest of his teammates drink Powerade because there are no commercials during the World Cup and sponsors need to get paid. Despite the infraction being obvious the other team has to have a hissy fit when a yellow or rare red card is given out. One player pretends to be reasonable and pleads for understanding, that heads are round so their player got confused. The official doesn't care and the crowd screams ole.
And this folks...is soccer. Or fotball as the rest of the world calls it. I assumed that football (American) was the stupidest sport in the rule with all the stopping and rules and barley any action. I had no idea that the World Cup was actually the Crybaby Olympics played by grown men with mix matched shoes and the magically ability to heal themselves once it was advantageous to their team. Off sides, kicking it out of play on purpose, man tears. All of it! Yet.....I have been sucked in, giving my husband updates when he misses games from work and screaming at the outrage on my TV. There is no hope for me folks. Leave me behind as I randomly scream THEY ARE GOING TO BUILD A STATUE FOR HIM!

Gokukoku no Brynhildr episode 11

 photo brynhildrepisode115_zps207fc790.jpg
Something super important. Wouldn't it be funny if it were you? XD
X___X It has been scary in terms of weather in my part of the woods today. Like every 5 seconds the tv had a storm warning for our area. That didn't stop my neighbor from going outside and having the longest/loudest conversation on the phone ever though....she could have been struck by lightening. Thankfully (sadly?) she was not and I got to listen to her wonderful conversations in between thunder strikes and goals being scored on TV. Oh and in between trying to blog another anime episode. GO ME!! What is up on the distractometer? Why it is Gokukoku no Brynhildr episode 11. Spoilers for new friends and dwindling pills.
 photo brynhildrepisode11_zps534417a6.jpg
We are such good guessers, go us!
Episode Summary: Valkyria is happily enjoying her freedom when some plain looking cops appear. Apparently the large pile of bodies nearby makes her look suspicious. Valkyria is like how dare you interrupt my fun and start to gather antimatter in her hands. The cops are like hmm what is this...and the entire side of the mountain blows up. Valkyria sorta flies into the water laughing while everyone looks on in horror including other cops that were taking care of the witch body part pile. As they are watching the explosion one witch.....takes her sliced off half and glues it back to her body. She sees her beacon got blasted off by Valkyria so it is escape time. Back at the conservatory the girls and Ryouta look on the internet about this violent explosion and the girls assume that Valkyria did this. Even though she is supposed to be asleep deep in the lab all signs point to her since she can do like 7 or 8 kinds of magics. Surely she is hunting them down and there will be nothing they can do about this. Elsewhere Mr. Creepy (whose name is actually mentioned this episode but you know) is taken to task in front of the Chair Committee. Everyone is really upset about these 100 dead people, dead witches and letting Valkyria run free. They threaten to kill him...so he awaits their next orders. The witch that glued herself back together is seen getting off a bus near the conservatory. When she was lying in pieces on the ground Valkyria and her witch hunting magic stated that she felt 4 witches in said conservatory so....Ms. Pieces has decided to see if there are witches in the area. Up the steps she goes and when she walks inside everyone is lying in a pool of blood. She freaks out and tries to help them but Kazumi is like AW it's not Valkyria, everyone get up. False alarm. Ryouta and the others question how this would protect them from Valkyria while Kazumi recognizes the girl as Hatsuna. She is apparently a level A witch so why is she here? She explains that she was guarding Valkyria but she has gone away, looking for #1107. She has no idea what 1107 is but...here she is. Hatsuna seems to know all the girls but Kotori which Ryouta finds odd. Hatsuna doesn't know what to make of Ryouta but the other girls vouch for him. Kazumi has a meltdown as they have another witch to give pills which Ryouta points out represents her growth as a person. Embarrassed Kazumi is like clean this room/paint as we go wash up and make some fanservice.
 photo brynhildrepisode11_zpsf63b0475.jpg
And then the new girl died. The end.
The girls go outside where Hatsuna makes fun of everyone's boobies because yay friendship. There is a scar on Hatsuna that the girls question so the new witch explains her magic is to regenerate. As long as she doesn't get ejected or cut off from pills she lives. Neko and the others start talking about how Ryouta has kept them alive all this time which makes Hatsuna want to know the boy more. So Hatsuna climbs to the top of some tower and pretends to be stuck so Ryouta can save her. She seems satisfied when Ryouta rushes to the top to help. Unfortunately she slips and Ryouta has a flashback of KuroNeko falling to her death. He manages to grab her but they are danging by a broken pole that is threatening to break. Hatsuna is scared but tells Ryouta to drop her, that her magic won't allow her to die. Ryouta thinks that Hatsuna is dying to save his life. Hatsuna tries to convince him but he won't take the chance. He wants to swing her to safety and then he will use both hands to climb the pole. Hatsuna tries once again to convince Ryouta but allows him to swing her to safety...and he falls to his death. Or almost death as Kotori uses her magic to switch places. Everyone is YAY as Kana had used her magic to sense Ryouta's death. Ryouta starts to talk about how Kotori's magic actually is useful in terms of science but Kotori wasn't even thinking that way which is scary. Hatsuna comes up and apologizes for nearly killing Ryouta because she wanted to test his niceness. Since no one died Ryouta forgives her. Hatsuna has the blushes and decides she likes Ryouta..and kisses him. Neko responds by destroying the rest of the tower and the other girls trying to calm her down while shooting her with eyeball lazers. Go Hatsuna. After being kissed Rentarou goes to see his UNCLE Kogoro. It turns out he remembers Nanami and how she died. He knows the importance of pills and watching Nanami has given him an idea of what the pills do. Basically there is some sort of enzyme that disolves the witches and the pills stop this enzyme. Kogoro used to know someone who did work on this enzyme and since he can get his hands on the material he can make the pills...in a month. With the new addition to their crew they have enough pills for one week. Kogoro tells Ryouta he needs to make a decision. Elsewhere Mr. Creepy (who has a name but meh) has found Valkyria. He yells at her for her obvious destruction and asks why she would do that. At first Valkyria is all pissed off and goes to use her powers on Mr. Creepy...then he slaps her and she instantly changes personalities. She cries and hugs him and basically wants forgiveness. She loves him and tells him where the “thing” is they are looking for. Back at NotARealClub the witches are talking about Ryouta visiting Kogoro and what this could mean for their pills. Neko is busy wondering what feelings really are. Ryouta returns and tells the girls about the pill progress. They are upset obviously but Kazumi wants to decide by lottery who gets to live. Hatsuna bows out of the lottery, saying she is new and what not. Turns out she picked up all her dead friend's pills when she glued herself back together and will probably survive to the next month anyway. Neko decides she doesn't want to live. Kana decides that she won't be able to live alone. And Kotori is so happy to have lived this long it's okay to die. Kazumi gets mad that all the girls insist she have the pills, making her feel greedy. Kazumi decides everyone will die in a week, after enjoying a fun summer vacation. All the girls agree and Kotori brings drinks to celebrate. She ends up spilling all the drinks on Neko and freaks out. She tries to undress Neko to clean her clothes but obviously this exposes her chest and Ryouta FINALLY sees the moles. He realizes that Neko is his long lost friend from forever ago and breaks down into sobs. He and Neko go outside where she still says she doesn't remember anything but Ryouta is okay. He remembers enough for the both of them and they can create new memories. They will just go inside and figure this all out together WOOHOO! Or or...a helicopter can come flying towards our mains and before anyone can react Valkyria will appear in the room. THE END!
 photo brynhildrepisode112_zps30c24ac3.jpg
The fact that any of you are alive at this point is a miracle.
So then...this show has decided that there won't be a second season and instead of cutting out some unnecessary garbage or pacing things out to 24 episodes it is just going to cram things all at once and hope it sticks. I thought that maybe things were up when the opening “song” was changed as that isn't typical for a 12/13 episode show but what do I know. Oh I do know that things are going way too fast and what not for it to dramatically end so soon.
 photo brynhildrepisode1110_zpsbd6d01cb.jpg
And they will probably never see it again weeee!
Valkyria or Neko 3.0 is a bit deranged. I guess if I had powers like her too I wouldn't be running or hiding either. I would be like yep going to take my time and enjoy my freedom because what can those bitches do?! XD If Valkyria is the witch they send out to take out other witches and....the lab is running out of super witches I might be cocky too. Not cocky enough to gather antimatter/darkmatter in my hands but you know. Valkyria has been in the lab for a long time. She doesn't know the art of revenge and living to see another day. Time for explosions and dead bodies weee! BEST DAY EVER says Valkyria as she flies off the mountain.
 photo brynhildrepisode1111_zpsd7f624de.jpg
Okay...now just time to sneak by the stupid and obvious cops.
The cops that weren't sent to capture a young girl and instead had to scrape dead bodies off the ground were spared. Slightly distracted by the mountain exploding into a firey mess but spared. I personally might have thrown up at the sight of so many dead bodies but maybe the censors work for them too. Then....you see it. The top of a dead girl moving the bottom part of her until the black and white bars of doom blur my vision and imply what is going on. That her body...glued itself back together. That this girl is not so dead after all. I think it should have made more disgusting noises when her body reassembled itself. But yeah folks...we got a witch with an actual magical power here. Too bad she wasn't involved with the pill stealing adventure, that would have worked out perfectly. This girl is going to glue herself back together and run away to die a slow, painful but free death.
 photo brynhildrepisode113_zpsd99b2ff2.jpg
And who was Valkyria talking too? Oh she is crazy? Never mind then.
Or or....she hoped on a bus to travel to Witch Hideout. You know, Ryouta's magical club of nothingness. Because one of Valkyria's many powers includes being able to sense other witches. Since Valkyria isn't down for killing all the witches just yet with her new found freedom she has decided to kill them later. But she cared enough to state where these girls were out loud so the not dead witch could hear Valkyria. Being alone in the world is hard so Ms. Pieces decided to see what was up. Maybe get some pills. Or maybe she could sense Ryouta and his womenz saving ways.
 photo brynhildrepisode114_zps384dad1d.jpg
Oh snap is Valkyria making friends everywhere?!
When the new witch walked in she was not greeted with hugs or guns. Instead everyone was laying dead on the ground. And she freaked out. Which I thought was the point. Maybe a test to see if the witch/person walking in would care about them thus they are a friend. Then I thought to myself...Neko is friends with everyone, she doesn't need no stinkin test. No this was just Kazumi's amazing plan to protect everyone. They were surfing the web, probably typing things like How to Make Witch pills when they learned the mountain exploded in a blaze of glory. They immediately know it is Valkyria because she knows all the magic ever. Why did they automatically assume this? It could have been another witch or possible an outside source doing the damage? I mean of course they are right but they have no reason to guess the correct answer since Valkyria should be asleep in the lab. But their grand idea to survive a Valkyria encounter is to paint blood on everyone, including the boy Ryouta and pretend to be dead. Um....that sounds like a grand plan for a 5 year old. Where are the melted body parts and what not?
 photo brynhildrepisode116_zps78c2258b.jpg
Is this going to be important later?
Everyone seems to accept this new witch, Hatsuna, with open arms. They have to since she is now in the opening song. I would have been a slight bit more weary as she just got done saying she was guarding Valkyria. I probably would have questioned her more on why she was here. I mean I would assume all the witches would WANT to escape the lab but as we have seen some witches aren't ready to run away or they are afraid to die. And it's not like any of the girls remember Nanami so...yeah I would be weary. Not Neko who loves everyone. Kazumi is too busy moaning at the lack of pills for all these girls which Ryouta sees a growth and a good thing. The only weird thing that anyone notes is that Hatsuna doesn't know Kotori. Why does that matter to Ryouta? Does every witch have to know every other one? When Kotori first rolled up and talked about her friend Kazumi knew that girl but the others didn't seem to show that much emotion. But Ryouta made a point of saying something so I guess it is important.
 photo brynhildrepisode117_zpsdeaee81b.jpg
Everyone's boobs look exactly the same in this picture so...
After talking up Ryouta a bit the girls (well mostly Kazumi) command the boy to clean the room while they wash all the paint of themselves. Because fanservice has to happen every episode or else we would forget these girls have breasts. Hatsuna decides to press her luck and ability to receive pills from these girls by making fun of their breasts. I guess Kana is not eligible to be picked on because of her condition. The one that hasn't been mentioned since Kazumi implied Kana could move. After all boobie fun the girls notice that Hatsuna has a scar across her body. You know, when she glued herself back together. Do the witches at the lab not talk about their powers? Maybe since Hatsuna is a grade A witch they didn't talk or interact much. So Hatsuna explains that her powers are to regenerate. So....that means the lab sent her to watch Valkyria on purpose and the lab knows she is not dead. They could still eject Hatsuna as she explains and she would be a goner. But I guess the beacon lets them eject from long distances and the others have to ejected in real life. Still they are not out of the woods yet as Hatsuna could be useful against Valkyria.
 photo brynhildrepisode115_zps28bcda14.jpg
Feel guilty Hatsuna. These girls were willing to die to give you a chance to live. Included in the lots and all doubting Ryouta.
Hatsuna has decided to not take the girls at face value when it comes to their praises for Ryouta. They seem to be alive and not a pile of mush so Ryouta has to have done something to keep them alive right? Why would they lie about that? But like a good girl who has been locked up in a lab and tortured by strangers Hatsuna isn't down for Ryouta just yet. Sure Valkyria is out there and is super dangerous. And sure they are going to run out of pills soon and all die. That doesn't mean with what little time Hatsuna has left she shouldn't investigate this person called Ryouta. Does he really save all the womenz? She needs to find out and what better way to do that than to climb a tower and pretend that she is too scared to climb down. I might have been too scared to climb down but I wouldn't have climbed up there to begin with so.....
 photo brynhildrepisode118_zpsaf96af2c.jpg
I believe you are a good guy now. Sorry for being an unbeliever.
Whatever Hatsuna's plan was it went horribly wrong or right...when she accidentally fell off said tower. Poor Ryouta, having flashbacks of his dead friend and how he thinks it was all his fault. Hatsuna didn't mean it but maybe she should think about these things before she goes off and tests strangers. Ryouta does go after Hatsuna which lands them into a dangerous/dangling situation. Hatsuna of course can't die and suggests that Ryouta should drop her and climb to safety. She explains the situation to him but Ryouta doesn't believe her. These witches have a tendency to die for one another and even though Hatsuna just met him five seconds ago maybe she is willing to die for him. She could be lying. I think Hatsuna did enough to try and convince him so her going along with his plan to save her doesn't leave a bad taste in my mouth. Ryouta was going to get his way no matter what so it was best to listen to him before too much time passed. Oh Ryouta, always over thinking things.
 photo brynhildrepisode119_zps40da4cc5.jpg
I think I would be busy freaking out but Ryouta is all about the science of magic.
In the end Ryouta did manage to save Hatsuna at the expense of himself. He ended up tumbling to the ground, to certain death with WHOOSH Kotori switched places with him. I too was a bit X__x when Kotori survived the fall. I expected her to be hurt somewhat but since this is MAGICAL Kotori's state of being continued on and Ryouta's state of being stopped. Kinetic energy what? So yeah Ryouta was in shock that he wasn't dead. Yay for Kana and her ability to see the future. Does she even get hung up or does she not use her powers enough for that to happen? Anyway Hatsuna climbs down from the tower and now trusts Ryouta. She is slightly sorry for putting them at risk and Ryouta forgives her like the situation was her eating the last of the cookies. Like well no one died so I guess I forgive you. Which is good because Hatsuna wants to be part of this Ryouta harem. Like I like you. You are the first boy I have ever met who hasn't tried to hurt me so it must be love. Here have a kiss. XD No really, have a kiss and lets watch Neko lose her mind. Hatsuna can't be killed but I am sure Neko will make her suffer. And the plot moves on a break neck speed.
 photo brynhildrepisode112_zpscc5febaf.jpg
Ah yes...of course....X__X
Ryouta takes a break from kisses and causing jealously among the ranks to see Uncle Kogoro about these darn pills. Good to know that no one has caught on to what Kogoro has doing. Everyone, you are sworn to secrecy. Don't tell the bad people anything. Anyway I KNEW Kogoro remembered Nanami. He standing off to the side, almost behind her when she died so she couldn't change his memories. And it turns out it is good that she died. Well not good in that no one should die but Kogoro is a scientist. Having...err....samples is good for research purposes. All other....samples were gone. So while Nanami dying was super sad Kogoro was able to figure out why the girls turn to goo. It has something to do with made up science because the pills could magically STOP this enzyme from killing the witches and repair extensive damage after the fact. The good news is that Kogoro can make this pill within a month now. The bad news...there are enough pills for one week if every girl took them. :( Poor Ryouta. Kogoro wasn't as concerned about the choice as the person's research he was using to come up with this pill plan. Whatever did happen to his pal Mr Creepy? HMMM!
 photo brynhildrepisode114_zpsc0f90302.jpg
What the hell is this crap?
Mr. Creepy has located Valkyria. I don't really know what this crazy is thinking. She is running around killing witches and tons of people but made no effort to escape. I guess when she is that powerful she doesn't need to but if...Mr. Creepy has some effect on her I would have attacked first in that case. OR RUN AWAY. I don't even know folks. Is she so crazy she isn't even thinking straight? In any event Mr. Creepy finds her alone and starts screaming at her right away. I would have been slightly scared of the magical girl that hates my guts but not Mr. Creepy. She is suffering from...something. Split personality or mind control because one slap sent Valkyria into a state of tears and listening to the evil man. I can lead you to what you want, just please love me. Alrighty then.
 photo brynhildrepisode116_zpsf8d7a2af.jpg
We are friends til the end! Of next week anyway!
So Ryouta makes his way home and has to tell all the girls that they are boned. Well all but one of them. One might make it out of this mess alive but at the cost of the other girls. I thought it was nice of Hatsuna to bow out of the lottery but then it turns out that she has quite a few pills for herself. Maybe if she shared them and everyone was in a constant state of pain and bleeding they could stretch it out so two people could live? Instead everyone was all NO I want to die so my friends can live. It came down to Kazumi being the one everyone wants to live. I guess Ryouta really didn't have to make a decision did he? I wonder if he would have picked Neko.....Anyway this was all sad and what not. These girls haven't had a great lot in life but they still have enough humanity in themselves to be self sacrificing for friends. Then by unanimous decision they decide if most of them have to die they all might as well die together. One last week of fun, who cares what Ryouta thinks!!!
 photo brynhildrepisode118_zpsfb3a20f9.jpg
Hello...sister?
This leads us up to the end of the show. During their celebration of their last week on Earth Kotori spilled drinks all over Neko which meant the girl needed to be stripped right then and there. Since all the girls only have one pair of clothing each Neko was naked and BEHOLD Ryouta finally saw Neko's moles (again)! Ryouta was so overwhelmed with the obvious truth he broke down into crazy sobs. Like...really crazy sobs. Neko didn't get very emotional at all, just simply stating she doesn't remember the boy at all. But Ryouta must have forgotten about the girls pact to die together in a week because he genuinely thinks everything is going to be okay. And just as that lovely thought hits Ryouta's brain...a helicopter containing Valkyria appears. I guess she needs to be within a certain distance for her transportation magic to work because TADA there is she folks, inside the conservatory, ready to kill some witches so Neko can be the last one standing with all the pills. Ryouta did take the time to notice that Neko and Valkyria look very familiar before freaking out. Is Neko what Mr. Creepy is looking for? Who is going to end up a melted pile of goo? Is the lab really trying to create aliens? I guess we will find out next time...maybe.

Black Bullet episode 10

About that....
HURRY! Get one last post up and finished before the fotball matches start. Or soccer. Whatever. Even though most people call it fotball. We poor Americans. The husband has watched like 90 percent of the matches and I guess his addiction is infectious because I had no intent on watching the World Cup. At this point I might have fist pumped one of the goals. The shame...like sports. XD But yes one more post before I get sucked back in. Up now is Black Bullet episode 10. Spoilers for nothing having a point. It's all for nothing.
 photo blackbulletepisode10_zpse648cdc9.jpg
Can't help but notice these were not filled out...
Episode Summary: Due to the impending doom arriving at Tokyo in a few days....Kisara and Rentarou have decided to hold class anyway. The older man who watches the kids is grateful for the distraction. Rentarou says it is a distraction for them as well, that it helps. Rentarou and Kisara hand out My Future little worksheets. Tina and Enju both want to marry Rentarou while the other girls are unable to answer their sheets. Rentarou decides to use their nonexistent funds to take all the kids on a field trip. They get a few stares but Rentarou takes them to a memorial site, one for the second battle in the great Gastrea War. All the kids are familiar with some of the festivals that happen at that time. One is coming up in a few days and the girls ask Rentarou if they are going to live to see the festival. Rentarou explains that the government is going to protect them and Kisara and him are going to fight too. Twice as hard as he is their teacher. The little girls hold a meeting and decide they accept Rentarou as their teacher and that nearly everyone wants to marry him. YAY FOR GOOD TIMES! That night Rentarou is awake thinking about how the military is probably going to mess everything up against that massive Gastrea while the rest of his team sleeps. Well not Kisara as she calls him out of the tents. They walk to the crumbling pillar as that is the safest place to be in the world. Rentarou wonders why the Gastrea isn't running around and attacking other pillars to really take them all out. Kisara thinks the Gastrea is tired while Rentarou thinks the pillar is to blame. Kisara promises to look into it and suggests that she and Rentarou take a nap in the grass. Kisara is happy that she has a little family now but is worried it will all end one day. Actually in two days. Kisara and Rentarou have a moment, promising each other it will be okay.
 photo blackbulletepisode107_zpsa48389f5.jpg
Have a dose of cuteness before it all goes south.
The next day, while Rentarou is out and about he hears about how 1/3rd of the population has been selected to take shelter underground. People have reacted very negatively to this and blame Seitenshi and the Cursed Children. Obviously. At the train station Rentarou runs into the Cursed Child who was there last time. Only this time people are beating her up. Rentarou uses his authority and sends everyone on their way. The girl apologizes for begging again but she had to do it for her sister. They talk for a while and Rentarou makes her promise to go home. Rentarou returns home himself to the tents as Kisara returns with the girls. She apparently had no fun teaching the girls since they missed Rentarou. Tamaki appears with Kisara's paperwork on the pillar which she reads to herself. She quickly throws it in the fire and walks away pissed off. Rentarou fishes it out of the fire and learns that her family is the one who made the pillar under suspicious circumstances. Kisara returns late in the night and because of that Rentarou allows Tina and Kisara to arrive at school late. Yuzuki thinks going to school is dumb anyway but Enju is excited because she is going to show the rest of the girls her anime magical girl DVD. They happily walk to school AKA outside when they notice adults in the area. Oh and the giant crater where all the seats were. And blood. Rentarou slowly starts to realize a bomb was dropped on all his students. He is taken to an area that holds all of their little bodies. Rentarou starts to name their names but the authorizes say that these kids have no parents so names aren't necessary, just that Rentarou knows them is enough. Rentarou is clearly upset by that and lists their names anyway. Rentarou goes into the hallway because Enju was giving the guards a hard time. She seems to think she can show the girls the DVD tomorrow. Obviously she can't and she runs away only to find everyone's bodies. Rentarou goes to the roof to read all the girl's plans for the future. He allows them to blow away in the wind. Kisara calls, saying Tina is handling the news poorly. Rentarou starts to lose his mind, asking what Enju is risking her life for, what they are fighting for. Kisara tells Rentarou he is a civil servant and they must fight for justice. Maybe they will be able to change things for the better. Then....the pillar falls to the ground. Rentarou decides the wind is to blame for the early date. Rentarou runs downstairs to find a very upset Enju. He informs her of the situation and Enju wipes away her tears, ready to fight. THE END!
 photo blackbulletepisode1014_zps45b4d6f9.jpg
Enju asking to go to school tomorrow...just a lot of sadness.
I assumed that the battle between the super Gastrea and his army were going to take place and the blood was going to flow. Like woohoo we are a team...and now we are all dead. Well the blood did flow, just from a different source. Because we can't have a show about aliens/monsters coming to destroy humans without the humans looking as horrible as possible. What's the point you know?
 photo blackbulletepisode104_zps92b2b6b0.jpg
Victory over what? THEY ARE STILL HERE!
I really do get that people have to function in the face of a crises. Especially if the crises doesn't happen to you. Like when Japan had their huge disasters three years ago many people were trying to show support and restraint while others suffered but then that creates a problem in the economy. Here in the United States there are so many school shootings and natural disasters if we stopped to mourn and be super respective no one would leave their houses ever. So yes I get that people need to get out there and live their lives. I really do.
 photo blackbulletepisode103_zps27242496.jpg
Take us out for ice cream if DOOM is coming. :(
However if giant monsters were going to come NO MATTER WHAT in three days and eat everyone I knew I probably wouldn't go to school. I probably wouldn't go teach school. I probably wouldn't go teach school to kids who probably aren't getting much out of this schooling since I am not a teacher and they have never been properly taught before. In short...what is the point?! I get that these girls need something to live for (well did but you know) but finding them shelter might be a better use of their time. Or finding adults that would be pairs with the girls so they would have food and shelter. Sure no one would really be like Rentarou or even Tamaki but that would probably be a better solution than teaching girls who have an expiration date anyway. At the very least Rentarou could have worked together with the old dude to find somewhere for these girls to hide. Not....give them worksheets asking about their future. X____X
 photo blackbulletepisode106_zps42a3d6b7.jpg
Cherish this moment of happiness.
Since only Tina and Enju find joy in the future Rentarou and Kisara's dwindling wallet take a field trip to some of the monuments made after the war. Now I have several problems with this. None of which being Rentarou trying to cheer the girls up. Although since the girls all have Gastrea DNA or whatever in them that might have not been the best place to take them. Like yeah everyone is happy but you guys weeeee! No the problem I have is 1, the war is certainly not over. These things appeared a relatively short time ago in Earth's history and are still there, terrorizing everyone. And B...what a massive amount of space to waste on some statues! Land seems to be a problem in this new world and all that land is wasted on a bit of WOOHOO we did it? Yeah rolling my eyes that any of these people are still alive. Still the girls manage to find the good. Well sorta. You know after they talk about how they are all going to die and Rentarou reassured them they weren't. YAY FOR HUGS. Taking screenies of that obvious sadness was fun folks.
 photo blackbulletepisode108_zps71a01353.jpg
Yeah I am thinking this giant Gastrea can do what it wants and attack all the pillars.
Rentarou and Kisara are not going into this battle thinking it is going to be easy or great fun. If I were the government I would be dropping bombs....on the actual enemy but I guess we can't be having that. I am not sure why Kisara wanted to take Rentarou over to see the pillar. Especially since the wheels of questions were not spinning in her head. So I wonder why she made her way over there. I guess she was told to be the writers so Rentarou could ask some obvious questions. They bounced ideas off each other. Why would the Gastrea stop at just THIS pillar? Why not attack from all sides? Kisara might have been right, that it would take time to produce all that....stuff and it could make the creature tired. Rentarou decides he knows all because he saves all the womenz and the problem has to be this pillar itself. I am not sure why Rentarou assumes he is right. Of course he but he shouldn't know that. What with level 5 Gastrea being summoned at will I am sure this Gastrea could be herded to this area. Just that Rentarou doesn't have this information yet.
 photo blackbulletepisode109_zpse0a2d330.jpg
In about 30 hours to be exact. You know, someday soon.
Kisara probably wasn't thinking all that hard about why the pillar was being destroyed. She was more wanting to spend time with Rentarou before the end. I mean the maybe end. Because obviously everyone is going to live and have a happily ever after. Given the track record of this show. How dare you start thinking Rentarou. Kisara promises to look into this matter because she obviously has the hook up. Um hi my Grandfather is important, give me all the information I want please? After that Kisara got things back on track with spending some quality time with Rentarou. If the battle isn't for a few days I am not sure why people couldn't find their own lodgings. Especially since they could come and go in the city as they pleased as there were no barriers or what not. But that would be asking too many questions. For now it is snuggles and talks of the future. How Kisara thinks that she, Enju, Tina, and Rentarou are a little family now and she wants it to stay that way. :( Aw isn't that romantic. Goodbye Tina and Enju. And probably Kisara. I am not seeing this happy family work out but I guess it is better to be optimistic than DOOM AND GLOOM. We are going to die Rentarou, have your way with me now. Wait that actually might be better...
 photo blackbulletepisode1010_zpsebdb84be.jpg
Come, I will make you part of my little girl harem.
The next day Rentarou decides that he wants to skip being a teacher to focus on something much more important. I really don't know what it was though. If one isn't going to teach a group of little girls in the face of danger I would think one would be getting the troops together and discussing battle strategies. Talking about strengths and weaknesses. Getting supplies together. Instead Rentarou decides to take a walk around town to see how awful things are. People have finally...slightly begun to panic. The ones who one the lottery have moved underground. 1 out of 3 citizens were picked. Meaning that 2/3rds of the population is left to die in case this amazing plan fails. Had this been the United States there would have been chaos in the streets and tons of looting. Here there are just very ticked off people who felt lied to. Down with Seitenshi and obviously Chosen Children because hello everything is their fault. I feel as if Rentarou took this walk just so he could come across the blind little Chosen Child again. Not heeding his word she went out begging again despite the DOOM that is coming and ain't no one going to help her now. Yep Rentarou went for a walk so this plot point could be covered. Why doesn't this little girl live with the other Chosen Children?
 photo blackbulletepisode1011_zps0346ddc9.jpg
If they survive this I am assuming Kisara is going to kill her family members.
After Rentarou gets his fill of helping someone out he goes back to TentsRUs just in time to see Tina and Enju return from classes with Teacher Kisara. Which no one loves because hello Rentarou is the best person ever woohoo! Before we can have fun with that issue Tamaki has to ruin the moment and give Kisara the paperwork on the pillar of almost destroyedness. That was fast and dramatic. Kisara has grade a reading skills as she looks over the paper work and tosses it in the fire right away. Rentarou and his nosy self immediately investigates and it looks like Kisara's family made the pillar without any bidding or what not. HMMM why is that? Was it all planned to fail on purpose, to blame Cursed Children and overthrow the government by riding in as heroes? Yeah that is what it is looking like. A very complicated and dangerous plan to get back at the little girls who had nothing to do with this mess. WHY IS THE WORLD STILL ALIVE?!
 photo blackbulletepisode1013_zps573ec1be.jpg
Since Kisara was dealing with some more assholeness from her family Rentarou gave her the morning off in terms of teaching the kids. It would be just an Enju and Rentarou morning. Time for them to bond, before things got really bad. Enju was so sad about what happened at her old school that Rentarou was afraid that she was never going to be okay. Now things are okay. Enju even brought her favorite anime DVD to share with all her new friends. After this battle that they were going to win and not lose any lives on things would improve. Seitenshi would be famed a hero and get all the Chosen Children rights and safe living conditions. Kisara would get an even bigger family. Yay little girl harem. Everything will be okay.
 photo blackbulletepisode1012_zpsd7325073.jpg
Of course a bomb blew up all your little students. OF COURSE! Why are you surprised by this asshole move?
Or or...Rentarou could reach the “classroom” to find the entire area bombed and every single girl dead. Because this show isn't uplifting. There is no hope whatsoever. Instead of using resources to help with the battle someone decided to bomb innocent girls who probably could have been major assets in said war. You know, because it makes sense to be this awful. I mean at this point I am not sure how these girls make it out of the delivery room? Their parents don't want them and if they are going to be thrown away like trash to die why not do it in a more humanely way? Heck doesn't the Gastrea DNA show up beforehand, you know before birth? It's just so...dumb. I know it is supposed to be sad and devastating, especially when Rentarou is trying to list their names and the cops could care less. But it is just dumb. Over the top hatred and unnecessary evil. We get it. Humans suck. Barely anyone deserves to breath at this point. I just don't understand how society hasn't crumbled under its own stupidity yet. I guess with most of the homeless girls dead there will be less to blame on them now right? Gotta start taking responsibility for their own actions yes?
 photo blackbulletepisode1015_zpse484b290.jpg
The people who hate and control everyone you care about?
Enju took this news hard. I think the girls being dead hurt Rentarou but seeing Enju deny this event then sob over it put him over the edge. He has grown close to the girl, taken her from the streets and given her...well not hope for the future obviously but a place to call her own while she waits to die. He couldn't do that for the other girls and now Enju has no hope. No nothing. Her friends are dying left and right and society hates her. What is the point anymore? Add that in with all the little what will I do in the future papers the dead girls filled out and Rentarou was ready to break into the underground areas and take out those 1/3 safe population people. Well not really but I think he was on the verge of not fighting in the battle at all. Kisara had to talk him down this edge but really....it was a weak argument. I know there are jobs out there that make you help people you really hate but this is a lot and really who would blame Rentarou?
 photo blackbulletepisode1016_zps36625a38.jpg
So maybe they weren't being flung quite that far...but you have to admit that would be an idea for some evil person.
Well the icing on the suck cake is at the end of the episode the pillar falls apart a day ahead of schedule. Not that it would really matter since the new pillar wasn't going to be made in time anyway but given what is going on I would assume this was also on purpose. Put the majority of the “dangerous” Chosen Children on a battle field near said pillar and POOF all the metal rains down on them and kills them too. Yeah that seems very, very deliberate and insane right? The Earth is going to be taken over by Gastrea in a week at this rate. Rentarou managed to listen to Kisara long enough to get Enju to wipe away her tears so they could dart off to battle but really..what is the point? Lets fight to protect all the people who killed your friends or could care less if you died. So much fun woohoo! The blood did flow...

Isshuukan Friends episode 11

I feel slightly more human today then I did yesterday. Yesterday I was in zombie mode. I went to bed at 2:30 am and woke up at 5:59 am because for some reason our neighbor's cop car alarm went off. Like scared the crap out of about the 100 people within earshot, waking us all from our slumber. Well except my husband. Apparently me opening the door in a confused dazed was more noisy than the BEEP BEEEEEP BEEEEP BEEEEEEEEEEEEP that went on for about 30 minutes while we all stood around in our pajamas looking like zombies. And since I am the worst sleeper on the face of the planet...I didn't go back to bed.
 photo friendepisode118_zpsca6efcc1.jpg
This is how boys make friendships.
So yes. I am more human today than yesterday. What an understatement. And since there is only ONE soccer/fotball match today...WOOHOO! I can do lots of anime posts today yes? Hopefully. We shall see. You know how I can get. Oh wait the matches are on different channel than I am used to. Nothing will get done haha. XD Up now is Isshuukan Friends episode 11. Spoilers for...THE TRUTH. All of it. Just so dramatic and awful you know.

Episode Summary: Yuuki is thinking to himself that it is finally winter time, his first winter with Kaori. She has slowly started to build up her memories once again but things are still not the same, back before Kujou came to town. Still she talks happily about how Fridays don't scare her anymore and she has her diary to thanks for that. She happily flips through it until she stops on a particular page. She says nothing is wrong and that she is happy she has friends, happy thanks to Yuuki. Yuuki takes a drink break to talk to Shougo. Apparently Shougo told him once to allow things to happen naturally. Yuuki wants to tell Shougo he isn't going to follow that advice. Instead he is going to try his hardest to get back to where they were before. Shougo seems to support this as...Yuuki is Yuuki. As they finish their break they see Saki round the corner, see Shougo, and run back the other way. HMMM there. Saki runs and hides in the classroom and her two friends ask what is wrong. Saki says she made Shougo mad and the two girls Ai and Maiko decide that Saki needs to apologize even if Shougo scary face and smiling face are all scary. Shougo listens to this rude conversation and decides all girls are crazy. After school Yuuki wants to walk home with Kaori (and Shougo) when Ai and Maiko declare it a girl's only zone and kidnap Kaori. Yuuki was set to walk home with Shougo when Ai runs up and asks why Kaori is so against going to their area's only crepe shop. Did something happen there? Yuuki remembers Kaori freaking out the other day and tells Shougo to walk home without him. Yuuki returns to the classroom where Kujou is doing the class report. Yuuki wants to know what happened at the crepe shop and Kujou acts like this is the 19th time the kid has asked him. Yuuki simply says well if you remember let me know which makes Kujou call the two girls that were at the crepe shop. They all agree to meet at a restaurant and the two boys wait. Kujou tries to act all tough, saying he doesn't care about Kaori but Yuuki points out that the kid says that a lot. Yuuki thinks Kujou likes Kaori and doesn't see him as just a creep anymore. Yuuki keeps on talking, saying he wants to know about Kujou and Kaori when they were younger. Kujou wasn't done being...himself and tries to play up that he and Kaori were....special together. They were popular and while they were not dating Kujou thought they were more than friends. Yuuki understands that thinking. Even though they had tons of friends they always spent time together doing math and such. Yuuki realizes that Kujou is the one who made Kaori love math.
 photo friendepisode115_zps54ff4e75.jpg
But but...I am the special friend!
The two girls finally show up and...the scene changes to Kaori hanging out with Saki and company. They have gone to a karaoke place to discuss Saki's issue. Or not really because Saki never explains why she and Shougo are having issues. But Ai and Maiko want to help Saki so...Kaori needs to find an opportunity for Saki and Shougo to talk. Kaori really has no idea what to do but friendship matters so she will help. Their paid time is up so the girls all decide to continue the conversation at a restaurant. Lala walking for them and they end up at the same place where Kujou, Yuuki, and the two girls are. Saki and the other girls go to sit down where Kaori goes to use the payphone because what is a cellphone? When she goes to make the call she sees Yuuki and people sitting there so she walks over happily. During all of this the girls were telling Yuuki and Kujou what happened the day Kaori got hit by a car. Turns out Kujou was super popular in class and one of Kaori's friends liked him. They found out that Kujou was going tell Kaori his...feelings on that particular Sunday so the girls all decided to confront Kaori beforehand. They all called Kaori names and what not for being mean to this friend and her secret feelings to Kujou. Kaori ran off upset and got hit by a car. Those girls went to visit Kaori in the hospital but she pretended to not know them thus the gossip and why THESE girls know. Kaori is then noticed by the group as she quietly cries. She says she is not sad...just now she knows the truth. She continues to cry and Ai/Maiko agree to help Saki take Kaori home. Kaori arrives home and doesn't feel like talking to her mother about her crappy day. She instead starts to cry as she writes in her diary. Yuuki stays back with Kujou to hear his side of this story. Kujou seems to think it's his fault this all happened, because he wanted to remain her special friend. Monday rolls around and Yuuki goes to see Kaori on the roof. She is relieved as a lot happened on Friday. She claims to be okay now. She was just shocked at the truth but thanks to Saki and Yuuki her special friend being there she will be okay. Yuuki sorta panics at the words special friend and makes some excuse to leave the roof. That night Yuuki meets with Shougo as he has explained the situation to his friend. Shougo thinks knowing the truth is good, a positive thing. Maybe Kaori will forget things less. Yuuki seems to think he is in Kujou's position now and what if he causes Kaori to lose her memories one day? Shougo gets a little quiet. The next day Kaori is full of energy and excitement for the upcoming winter break. Yuuki blows her question off again which makes Kaori a sad panda. THE END!
 photo friendepisode113_zps240b37c3.jpg
You can do it Yuuki!
Well there is only ONE episode left of this series and we finally have the whole story on Kaori's condition. Is that going to be enough time to “cure” Kaori, get Yuuki to stop avoiding her, and have Kujou get some sort of resolution to his situation too? I guess this series could have another season but I feel as if it is the kind of series that gets 12 episodes of cute and moves on.
 photo friendepisode11_zps5548cd5f.jpg
All my meltdowns and dramas seem to happen on Fridays so Mondays are a relief. XD
Despite Kujou coming back into her life and the two girls near the crepe store triggering her Kaori seems to be back on track with Yuuki. Yuuki even comments that she has been building up her memories again. I take that to mean she has started to recognize people quickly on Monday and to even know Yuuki before he introduces himself. For some reason I thought a great deal of time had passed since Kujou came to town but apparently it's only been two weeks. Maybe I am confused. Summer vacation ended and I thought Kujou appeared that same day. I guess a few months just passed of him being a quiet jerk next to Kaori and the crepe situation happened last week. That is very little progress between Kujou and Kaori. Awkward. Also no school festival, my heart is sad.
 photo friendepisode112_zps9df96a4b.jpg
But if you don't mind could you please tell me about Kojou? Thanks.
Kaori seems to be okay with how things are. Probably because she has no idea how much she lost and the point she is at now is where she was at the end of summer. Only Yuuki, Shougo, and maybe part of Saki know that she took steps back. Yuuki really has gone through a lot though. A yoyo friendship. Still he goes at Kaori's pace and listens to her talk about her diary and how she is getting better. Fridays are no longer a burden to her and I think Yuuki is getting less stressed about Mondays. Although the Kujou incident will always be in the back of his mind, that something could always go wrong. While Kaori is skipping along Yuuki still has doubts. Enter the Shougo. Does Shougo ever have issues? It is always Yuuki going to him for help. Friendships are equal dude!!! Well Shougo still made me mad with his flippant attitude that Kaori forgets all the time but maybe he was just trying to make Yuuki feel better. Anyway Shougo is there to listen as Yuuki talks again about his doubts and what not. Shougo thinks Yuuki needs to chill and not worry himself to death but that is going to fall on deaf ears anyway so just nod your head and promise to pick up the pieces after the fact.
 photo friendepisode114_zps37d2ed42.jpg
We are going to help even though we have no idea what is wrong! Yay girls!
Oh wait! Maybe Shougo will have an issue now. In the form of Saki and her annoying hair tie. Yeah this episode I finally had a rage moment against her useless and gravity defying hairtie. But yes Saki might be an issue for Shougo...since he likes her and all. Since Saki asked Shougo to be her husband last episode she apparently has been avoiding the kid. Her friends Ai and Maiko want to get to the bottom of this....you know, in the middle of the classroom where everyone can hear. Saki really wasn't telling her friends why she and Shougo can't talk so the girls are assuming it is Shougo's fault. Time to list all of his crazy faults and what not, with him listening in at the doorway. Saki seems like the kind of girl who would tell her friends everything so I am not sure why she didn't spill the beans. I don't see Shougo going to Yuuki for help though. This is a crush that probably has been building for years and he can handle it. I say crush but Saki acts more like a pet dog than potential girlfriend material.
 photo friendepisode116_zps7d2094dd.jpg
Yeah because it happened so long ago....
Ai and Maiko have to protect their little Saki and to do that they need...Kaori. Yeah it makes little sense but I guess they are all friends so they should spend time together. It sorta blocks Yuuki from walking Kaori home but to be fair he does spend a lot of time with the girl. He wants her to branch out and have the ability to keep her memories but I am sure it would help if she spent time with other people besides him. I am sure he knows that too but it is hard to do in practice. Poor Yuuki. What will he do to occupy himself? Actually spend time with his friend Shougo without it being a pretense of a favor? HAHA not. Kujou was sticking around after class doing work (because schools in Japan are run by students) so Yuuki decided it was high time to ask him what was up.
 photo friendepisode117_zps094e9132.jpg
Sure you don't.
Given what a brat Kujou has been about things (whether it is warranted or not) I thought it was brave and slightly foolish for Yuuki to ask that kid anything. But Yuuki really does want to help Kaori and if she is having meltdowns around Kujou well he better find out what is the issue. I don't really see it as him being nosy. Kujou starts off with his how should I know attitude but soon calls the other two girls since they were the ones who really caused the meltdown. Either way Yuuki was being super polite and cute about the whole thing. Like oh okay you don't know, well if you do learn something please tell me peace to you all. Just too polite to be a real kid you know? I would be grabbing collars and demanding answers since Kaori keeps having meltdowns about Kujou. Also my brain might be exploding at the idea of Kaori asking me (Yuuki) about Kujou. Like I don't know and maybe you shouldn't know either. Always bringing up the tough subjects!

Yuuki is quite a special snowflake though. While waiting for the two girls to show up he and Kujou had some time to talk. And they actually did talk. Crazy right? Yuuki almost seemed....giddy to talk to Kujou about his past with Kaori. Like they were girlfriends talking about a cute boy. Instead Yuuki actually LIKES the girl that Kujou had this magical relationship with so wouldn't the answers hurt him? Yuuki is a strange little man. Maybe he was doing this to help Kaori but all I kept thinking to myself was how this was going to end in tears.

I am a confused, sad kid. :(
Kujou doesn't know if he wants to be a jerk or not. It's like he is constantly having a battle with himself. Do I hate Yuuki? Do I hate Kaori? Should I talk about how much I hate her or should I go on and on about her to make Yuuki jealous and to make myself almost cry? I am sure aside from the Kaori situation Kujou is a nice kid. He was just really hurt and that hurt came out in hurtful anger. I don't think he believed this memory thing yet as it does sound odd. But I would probably want to believe that over my special friend just not caring about me anymore. I rather cling to something you know? But for the meantime Kujou says he hates Kaori and must hate Yuuki for replacing him as the special friend so he must juggle that fine line. Bragging about how he spent so much time with Kaori even though they had a boatload of friends in the wing. But this all catches up to Kujou as he remembers those feelings, that they weren't going out but were special friends. He didn't even take the time to gloat that Yuuki is in the same boat and is potentially going to get hurt himself. Yuuki did all the worrying on his own though while Kujou wallowed in self pity.

Did Kaori forget that she was a mind reader?
These two girls finally show up and they have to be a little dramatic about Kaori's past. We got to stretch this out to the proper number of episodes you know. So what is the entire story behind Kaori being hit by a car? Surprisingly these girls were not involved. Kaori was super popular and had tons of friends but clearly liked hanging out with Kujou the best. Kujou was moving away and probably wanted to ask Kaori out, cement his special friend status. The other girls in the class got wind of this and being the 6th graders they were got upset. Because Kaori needs to read minds and know that one (maybe more) of her friends likes Kujou. So when Kaori went to the park to meet up with Kujou she instead found her friends all yelling at her while the Kujou liker cowarded in the background, like some grave injustice had been done to her. 6th grade girls are full of dramas. Kaori was upset over this yelling and probably shocked that Kujou liked her so she ran away, into a car. And this is the story of how Kaori lost her memories.

Time is money is Japan. We can't just be hanging out with friends for free.
While this was going on Kaori went with Saki and friends to discuss the Shougo situation...at a karaoke place. It seems rather odd since they didn't do any singing and going to a restaurant in the first place would have made more sense. Not to continue to the plot in a dramatic fashion so onward to karaoke. Basically the girls want Kaori to create an opportunity for Saki to talk to Shougo. Again with the dramatics as Kaori and Saki are just as close to Shougo as the other but then again the girls don't know what the problem is. I don't think Kaori needs to help Saki as her embarrassment is what is making things weird. Still they are friends and Kaori wants to help. Since it cost money to spend time at karaoke the girls head on over to a restaurant. Which restaurant do they have to continue this not very complicated topic? Oh the one Yuuki and company is at. I SEE INDEED.

Err....now you know?
Just as Kujou's old friends are explaining the situation Kaori and company walk into the same restaurant. Since Yuuki and Kaori are connected at the hip she was making her way over to the table to talk to her friend when BAM the entire truth was unloaded on Kaori. She was given a sliver of truth the last time she saw the girls but it isn't clear if Kaori knows what they said last time. What she wrote in her diary I mean. So either this was a whole lot of information at once or just the last piece of the puzzle. Either way Kaori reacted...rather softly. I guess if she was Kujou's friend now it would be a bigger shock. That he had romantic feelings for her and she was a homewrecker. Not really but that is what these girls are saying. Kaori just existing caused problems so yeah....her crying and running away now and then makes sense. What else could the girl do? It still seems extreme, for her to forget all her friends for the rest of her life because of this issue. Delicate flower indeed but dang girls can be awful in school. Tears for Kaori.

:( That is kinda sad....
Despite being...Kujou you have to feel bad for the kid. He was moving away and all he wanted was to..be special, SPECIAL friends with Kaori. I guess ask her out in case he came back later. And because some jealous girls got in the way Kaori forgot about him and he blames himself for her troubles. :( I really don't see it that way. It's not his fault at all but in this anime where feeling a certain way could be troublesome for others clearly you are a bad person. Actually that might be a Japan thing that seems blown out of proportion to my American self. You must really consider all options and situations to not embarrass another and since something bad happened to Kaori it is all Kujou's fault. Yuuki...sat there and listened, part because he is a good kid and part because this is the story of his life.

Like for real fine or girl fine?
When Monday rolled around Kaori was okay. How she manages to read that many diaries in the morning is beyond me. A fast reader I suppose. Unless she is lying about being okay Kaori wasn't in tears. I guess the one good thing about forgetting issues is that the bad memories fade away too. I wonder if Yuuki and Saki hadn't been there would Kaori have remembered the entire scene? Anyway Kaori is happy she knows the truth. Maybe she is okay now. All she needed was to have the whole picture in her head and she could move on. It's like being afraid of the unknown and when you find out the awful truth you can accept it and more on. Or curl up into a ball and cry about it. Kaori doesn't seem to be crying anymore but she could be lying to protect Yuuki. Either way the boy doesn't know what to think.

Yuuki is a whirlwind of feelings so which ones are you talking about?
Cue the Shougo because that is what he is good for. Since Shougo wasn't at the restaurant he had to be briefed on the situation. Shougo seems to think this is all positive stuff. Kaori knows the truth and might remember things better. Things could improve. But for Yuuki...all he could think was how he was the new Kujou. Accidentally of course on the side of Yuuki and Kaori. She wasn't looking to replace Kujou and he wasn't only helping her because he liked her. But the situation is the same, special friend word being used all over the place. So of course Yuuki is worried the same situation might happen. Well not the SAME as girls aren't throwing themselves all over Yuuki but still. I get his concerns. If Kaori is fragile enough for allow some 6th grade drama to take over her life who knows what else might affect her? If I were Yuuki I be weary of the situation too but not flat out ignore the girl. I guess Yuuki took a step in the middle Still being Kaori's friend but not making future plans or being overly special with her. Yuuki is just a kid, not a doctor. This of course leads to a confused/sad Kaori, a sad Yuuki, and a concerned Shougo. Maybe Kaori is strong enough to deal with things now. Yuuki doesn't want to hurt her so he doesn't want to take that risk but I am assuming something has to give. A New Year's Eve wish? HMMM guess we will have to find out next time.
