MERRY CHRISTMAS after the fact.....

Since I have spent the entire day away from my beloved computer I was not able to express my well wishes and seasons greetings. So I shall now.

What do you get for the person who literally has been everywhere and seen everything?!

So since it is after the fact I won't wish you a happy day and all that jazz. Instead I will hope you have survived the day and all it entails. The long drives, the crazy relatives you might only see once a year, and way too much food. I hope you got awesome gifts or at least got gift receipts for things that are not so awesome. I hope there were only tears of happiness and that the police were not called to wherever you were.

HKO wishes you a Merry Christmas too!

I hope you took the time to thank the people in your life that really matter. I hope you made long distance phone calls and caught up with people you couldn't visit with this year. I hope that your turkey was moist and the tree(s) were decorated with care.

I hope that if you had to work today (shame on you WALMART!) that no one showed up and your co-workers and you had a blast doing nothing all day. I hope if you had to drive today that the weather was kind and old people got out of your way. I hope your camera batteries didn't run out and video cameras were on the scene to record the awesome moments.

For me I had a marvelous day filled with yummy food and so many wonderful gifts. Gift post shall be coming tomorrow when I feel more awake and less stuffed. Sleep might be put on hold as I am braving the madness that is 50 percent off Hallmark ornaments. Pray for me that I am not run over by mid age soccer moms.

So yes late post is late. But in my defense I was spending Christmas with my family as it should be. XD (or I didn't wake up in time to post anything...or maybe both). But I do hope that everyone had a great Christmas and that Happy New Year is also in the cards. So go to sleep now after (hopefully) a merry Christmas.

And technically...I am on time for Kwanzaa. HAPPY KWANZAA!

Kobato Episode 11

Merry Almost Christmas one and all! Even though I have tons of last minute things to do (yay for procrastination!) I have to take time to watch Kobato and all her silliness. Because if anyone has a child like heart and innocence like the Christmas special state is necessary this time of year it would be Kobato.

However this episode was not a Christmas special. :( I was kinda hoping for one since Kobato has to earn her candy in a year’s time and that year would have to include Christmas. But it is the wrong time of year and we can’t keep skip that many months. Kobato doesn’t have that much time to begin with! So…no Christmas Kobato for me.

Any episode involving a bakery is win!

But this episode was cute nonetheless. It was a bit fillery at times and once again the “problem” was handled a little more dramatically than necessary but it was cute. And that is all that matters. On with the show.

Outfit fail. Shame on you artists.

I want to state that there was a bit of role reversal today. Kobato is usually the one all cute and lovely and fun to look at and Ioryogi wants to eat someone’s soul. Kobato did look cute in her blue outfit (which she has been wearing for like 3 episodes now…) but her bakery outfit was not very cute on her. I thought Yumi’s outfit was much cuter. And Ioryogi…he was CUTE today. His voice was mean and harsh as always but he was like LALALALA eating sweets and looked like an adorable stuffed animal. Really it was a switchero this episode.

I wish my car was that cool....

I really liked Kobato going through all the jobs she thought she could do and Ioryogi explaining why she couldn’t do them. My favorite of course was the pizza delivering one. I wonder why. XD But yes Kobato is super cute thinking about jobs and Ioryogi was Ioryogi bringing her back down to Earth.

Chitose ends up taking Kobato back to the bakery that Mr. Umbrella man owns. Ueda’s role in the manga was rather small and came during one of Kobato’s common sense test. But unlike the lost kitten episode Ueda gets a decent episode and it is not totaaaaaaaaaally drawn out like the cat one. It did go on a little longer than necessary but it certainly had more material the white kitty.

Or more training...any training?!

So anyway Kobato is working at Ueda’s bakery. And she kinda fails. Ioryogi wins! But in Kobato’s defense Yumi’s training was seriously lacking. Put on a uniform and handle the first customer?! Granted it is not rocket science and this is Kobato we are talking about. But still, a little more training would be nice (see SOME). Kobato was entertaining but I think there was some massive fail on Yumi’s part.

THE HORRORS OF PAPER CUTS!

The issue in this episode was about Band-Aids. Yes Band-Aids. Yumi has a few boo boos on her hands and apparently she is SLOWIER at work now. So slow that Ueda has to hire Kobato to help pick up the slack. Because Yumi can totally take it easy with Kobato on the job. I also like how Ueda only hired Kobato until Yumi was better. You know how long it takes to heal after getting Band-Aid sizes boo boos. But anyway Yumi is worried about Ueda acting strange and Ueda is worried about Yumi.

Why don't they investigate why Ioryogi was nearly disemboweled.

Kobato playing detective was cute. The anime is trying to make the twins a little more important than they are in the manga. I guess trying to play up on the popularity of Chobits. I did feel bad for the couple Kobato randomly quested. Then again they live in CLAMP universe so I am sure they are used to strange things happening all the time.

Kobato did learn something important today. Even if Ueda is a fillery character he did help move the plot along. Chitose’s husband was brought up and SAD FACES were all around. Of course Kobato wants to help the sad faces and Ioryogi teaches her that sometimes you can’t pry into people’s business. You can see them suffering and want to help them but you can flat out ask them what is wrong. Sometimes people aren’t ready to talk about their problems. Kobato hasn’t learned how to be tactful yet but I think now she realizes that there are some problems people can’t talk about and other people can’t ask about.

This is obviously code for I LOVE YOU!

I think what was most disappointing with the Ueda and Yumi conclusion was the lack of romance. Yes there is a bit of an age difference in Chobits (or a lot….) which made their relationship kinda X_X but in the anime their ages are undetermined. And the way they were acting it was going towards couple town. But Yumi almost cut off all her fingers just so she can bake cakes for Ueda, not that she loves him? And Ueda was worried and being all crazy because he wanted Yumi to have some time off, not because he loves her? It was just a bit too much for an employee/employer relationship. Especially with the whole Yumi getting jealous over the date issue.

So much help...

In the end I am not sure how Kobato helped Yumi out. XD Besides falling on her face of course. Ueda was honest with Yumi and Yumi was honest with Ueda and Kobato didn’t force the truth out of anyone. She was just there. But she did trip a marvelous trip there…

So…dramatic problem was not very dramatic. Kobato didn’t eat the food AGAIN. And Kobato has one more piece of candy. Sounds like a normal day in the life of Kobato.

ISN'T HE LOVELLLLLLLLLLLLLY?!

Oh wait…it’s Fujimoto being a jerk! WOOHOO! Kobato got a job because Fujimoto is super busy and Sayaka is….busy adding numbers up all the time (here’s a hint Sayaka, you get another job). And how does Fujimoto respond to Kobato? Like a butthead. But he is a butthead we are supposed to like so it is what it is.

The next episode looks like there are some important plotty things happening. I am excited! Let’s move towards the plot people!

CHRISTMAS SPECIALS PLEASE!

(If this post sounds vaguely familiar it is. This year hasn't improved much from last year. If anything it has gotten worse. So yes familiar post is familiar)

Dear network television executives,

In case you haven't noticed it is Christmas time. I think you have noticed though since you have been advertising your Christmas specials/25 days of Christmas/ects. Since you are advertising that it is Christmas time perhaps you could play some Christmas specials?

I have over 300 channels. I would like to see How the Grinch Stole Christmas on one of you please.

While every variation of A Christmas Carol is nice I want to see some Whos please.

The following are not Christmas movies. Please stop playing them around Christmas time. There are 11 other months out of the year you can play these movies. Stop stealing Christmas time slots for these non-Christmasy movies.




ANY HARRY POTTER MOVIE! Yes ABC Family I am looking at you. Every single year you play the Harry Potter movies because of SNOW. The movies are about an entire school year right? So...do you play these movies around Valentine's Day and Easter and 4th of July? NO?! OKAY THEN! Stop with the Christmas then!

Madagascar- X_X There isn't even any SNOW in this movie. Why are you playing this once a week?!

The Wizard of Oz-..........WHAT?!

Mary Poppins- Again coats do not equal Christmas.

Pirates of the Caribbean- I love me some Orlando Bloom. Truly I do. But there is a time and place for his half naked body and that time is not December.

Shrek- While I find the Christmas special cute I don't want to see any of the movies this time of year on TV. Do not want.

I would say what you are doing wrong CBS...but are you even playing any Christmas specials?!

Happy Feet- Okay there ARE talking penguin and there is snow...but it is not a Christmas movie. It is a movie about penguins. I like penguins but if it's supposed to be a Christmas special in needs to mention CHRISTMAS!

So in conclusion I would like the major networks to show actual Christmas movies if they are advertising they are playing Christmas specials. Showing popular movies does not count as a Christmas special. There needs to be snowmen, Santa, SOMETHING that makes the movie a Christmas special. Please look into making these changes next year. It would please me to no end.

Dear XXXHolics

I have not forgotten that you exist. It might seem that I have since I stopped posting about you when Tsubasa ended. But I have not. I apologize for the lack of you in my blog as of late. Forgive me because it is Christmas time.

That would be a nice letter…if I really meant it. Which part of me does. I do love XXXHolics so I should blog about it regularly instead of letting it slide or making excuses on why I am slacking. You don’t give up on a series because of a few bad chapters.

Let's focus on the XXXHolic boys instead of the plot maybe?

But….my excuse is that as of late this series has been boring as hell. After Tsubasa ended/a certain someone….died things got SO boring. Like seriously falling asleep boring. So I really haven’t been inspired to blog about weird/boring chapters. That and they are super short anyway so what am I going to do, blog about the 14 boring pages? I think not.

But…..the year is drawing to an end and I am feeling a little guilty about treating XXXHolics so poorly. So I shall blog all the chapters together and try to find the good. As always though I will be honest with the real boring parts. I am sure a lot of XXXHolics fan feel the same way I do but I shall try to put some energy back into this series! At least for me anyways.

So chapter 186 opens up right after Watanuki is sad about losing Yuuko to the black sludge. And Domeki holding the eggs saying he can’t use it on Watanuki. Please remember the egg because for the next 9 chapters no one else is. Seriously. No mention of the egg and it is FOUR YEARS IN THE FUTURE!

:( I miss the school and archery uniforms.

That’s right folks four years have passed since Yuuko has died and Watanuki has taken over the shop. If you are only reading XXXholic one will think that Watanuki staying at the shop to wait for Yuuko. That is true but it is explained in Tsubasa that Watanuki HAS to stay in the shop. He paid a price to get out of the nothingness he was trapped in with Syaoran. So while it is sad that Watanuki gave up the rest of his time so he can keep the shop alive until Yuuko comes back (which…makes no sense because Yuuko doesn’t need to come back to the shop) he also had to so he could keep on living. A no win situation but it wasn’t only fueled on this crazy idea of seeing Yuuko again.

This just in: When you miss someone it is best to become them to get over your grief.

ANWAY yes four years have passed since Yuuko got nommed by some black goo. Domeki has come to the shop and it is implied he does so all the time. Is he merely bringing Watanuki food or does he care for Watanuki and wants to keep him company?
Watanuki has turned into Yuuko. I miss the spazzy high school kid that used to grace the pages of XXXHolics. Now I have a male Yuuko. He isn’t completely the same of course. He doesn’t drink and act like a giant pervert all the time. But he is lazy, lounges around in robes that show off a lot of skin, and he smokes. Domeki takes this all in stride but he has had four years to get use to the changes. Still he and Mokona share a glance when Watanuki acts a little distant from Domeki when he agrees to make dinner.

Are you seriously wondering about that Watanuki?

Something interesting that is revealed during dinner is that Domeki is in college studying folklore. Watanuki has not gotten a reason out of Domeki why Domeki would pick a subject that clearly didn’t interest him in the past. I am not sure why it isn’t clear to Watanuki. But then again he doesn’t know Domeki is in love with him so things sorta go over his head. I am sure all the readers out there know that Domeki is trying to find a way to bring Yuuko back/Domeki is becoming Fei Wong Reed. Maybe if Domeki had used that egg we wouldn’t be in this mess. But I am bitter so let’s move on.

Kohane is so cute!

While Mokona and Domeki are talking about booze Kohane has come over for a visit. This chapter I was pretty excited about. Kohane is a little taller and a little wiser but she still is the same sweet girl from before. Kohane is still living with the older fortune teller (woot for staying alive old lady) and she has brought over some lovely munchies. She also comes bearing a note stating that a customer will be arriving at the shop tomorrow.

It's nice to see that ONE girl in Watanuki's life still cares about him....

Yuuko used to have customers all the time and no worries were had. But things have changed since Watanuki has taken over. Customers coming over are a big deal now and Kohane is worried that Watanuki is going to be hurt. Watanuki tries to calm her fears but he isn’t very convincing. Later while Domeki is drinking Watanuki talks more about the past four years as to educate the viewers. Word has gotten around that the new owner of the shop is weak and thus there have been fewer customers. Watanuki isn’t great at making wishes and he worries about being hurt in the process all the time. But he says he will keep on granted wishes and wait for Yuuko.

Um...no he's not. DO NOT WANT!

I just want to say again that I miss spazzy Watanuki. But I get that he has grown up a lot during his time with Yuuko and the time he has spent waiting for. He has changed from the bratty little kid to this….whatever he is now man. He knows that things he used to complain about pale in comparison to all the stuff he has been through and seen. Part of me wishes that Watanuki wasn’t waiting for Yuuko, that he could just take her gift at life and try to live it the best he could. But in the CLAMP universe characters don’t always do what makes sense; they do what makes them happy. So instead of complaining about Watanuki makes no sense I will try to accept it and focus on other things.

And that means...what?

Something weird that Watanuki mentions a lot is the fact that Domeki is free. I am not sure what is meant by that statement but I feel it is important to mention. Also any information behind these statements would be lovely.

Well hello person I don't care about.

So the person who comes to the shop, the person who is this super important
customer, is not anyone we know. AKA the Tsubasa crew/anyone from the CLAMP
universe. She is a blind woman who is very elegant and lovely. She charms Watanuki a bit and she seems to have a mysterious air about her. She comes wanting to grant the wish of a shamisen. A shamisen is a music instrument made from the skin of a virgin cat. Or at least this one is as some are made from dogs.

Are we seeing now why the last few chapters have been boring? And gross? I love cats so much so it was hard to hear Watanuki and the woman talk about the wish that this dead cat has. Since the wish wasn’t “don’t kill me and make me into a weird looking instrument” I wasn’t too invested in this plot line. Which is stupid.

Must...stay...awake...

The short story is that the shamisen longs to meet someone. It is unclear if the woman is really the cat too because she acts all weird after the wish is granted but it is what it is. After talking with Domeki Watanuki decides to enter the dream world to grant the musical instrument its wish. The dream itself was very brief, with the shamisen taking on the shape similar to the woman. The cat woman tells Watanuki to strike so Watanuki and Domeki look in the treasure room for the thingy thing that is used to play the shamisen. It’s called a plectrum in case anyone cares. For some reason finding the plectrum makes both of the boys sad. Watanuki gives the plectrum to the blind woman who says that it was owned by the man who owned both the plectrum and shamisen. It gets all dramatic when she plays the instrument and the butterfly plectrum breaks.

Boring storyline is epically boring.

There’s no use in my analyzing whether or not the shamisen was the woman or if the woman was the lover of the man who played the shamisen. So many pages are wasted on this boring storyline and it’s just so strange to me after all the exciting stuff that happened before/during Yuuko’s death CLAMP would make this Watanuki’s “first real customer”. Couldn’t they pick anyone more interesting?!

Yuuko should have taught him how to make prices better....

But they didn’t and life moves on. Mokona talks about how there is something new in the treasure room (as the shamisen became the payment). Mokona also talks about how Watanuki used to get hurt all the time for not taking the correct amount in payments past. If he takes too much or too little the shop would “hurt” him. Thus Domeki and Kohane have been worried about Watanuki’s well being. I don’t blame them and I am glad Watanuki has people that worry about his since sometimes he doesn’t care about himself. Especially since he talks about how he can get hurt but will never die so it doesn’t matter. All that matters is waiting for Yuuko.

Can we see them now? Soon please?

Our Tsubasa boys are finally mentioned HURRAY! Rejoice the masses! We don’t see them but I guess it is forgivable. Watanuki talks about how he saw them in a dream and they were looking for a new arm for Kurogane. I wish more was mentioned but I will hold out hopes for Tsubasa: The adventures of Kurogane and Fai. The other Mokona is mentioned and how Syaoran might smack Watanuki for being reckless. Before things can get too deep it is time for a booze run.

Another friendly face I wanted to see!

Watanuki randomly goes into dream land and meets up with Haruka. They talk about various things and Watanuki seems more like his normal self. They talk about Domeki annoying Watanuki. They talk about the fact Watanuki hasn’t been injured by the shop lately (everyone’s favorite topic!). Watanuki says that he is slowly getting better at running the shop and Haruka has taught him many things. Haruka then says something that was pretty obvious to me but apparently not to Watanuki. He says that Yuuko told him to watch over Watanuki. That touches Watanuki as well as Haruka’s plea to not do anything to make Yuuko cry. Watanuki wakes up from his dream and is shows his vulnerable side. He may have inherited this shop and started to dress and act like Yuuko but he is still not even close to being as hard as Yuuko.

Does everyone know that Watanuki sucks at making wishes? Was it in the underworld newsletter or something?

This finally leads us to chapter 194. Watanuki is playing the shamisen quite well when another visitor to the shop comes by. A talking rabbit I think. He compliments Watanuki’s shamisen playing then gets down to business. Watanuki accidentally broke his/Yuuko’s smoking pipe which is called a kiseru. The rabbit man is here to fix the pipe and gushes on and on about how lovely the pipe is. When Watanuki explains he broke the pipe when he entered the dream world the rabbit man tells Watanuki to be careful, that if Watanuki goes to the dream world too many times he might not be able to return.

That is a pretty cool cleaning device though....

You would think that the rabbit man liked Watanuki when he showed all this concern over Watanuki and the way he gushed out the compliments. You would think that Watanuki has learned a lot in the five years since this story has started and KNOWS that words can be dangerous. This is CLAMP. You would be wrong. Rabbit man cleans Watanuki’s pipe and for payment he wants Watanuki to say “you may enter”. Watanuki forgets all that Yuuko taught him about words having power and SAYS IT to a rabbit man who is already IN the shop. So what happens?! Tada! Some big boobed girl enters the shop. And she doesn’t look human.

So….we spend 8 chapters learning about how awesome Watanuki has become over the years and watch him man the shop. Then in this latest chapter…Watanuki is Watanuki and not a Yuuko replacement. But this chapter is what made me want to blog this series again so something good came out of Watanuki’s mistake. Let’s hope that this spirit is not as menacing as I think she is or if she is evil…Domeki will wake up from his drinking binge and save Watanuki. Finally I will be looking forward to XXXholics again and that is all that matters.

To Aru Kagaku no Railgun Episode 12

Merry Christmas to me! Saten has woken up! Oh and also my blog is full of spoilers. :(

But I seriously do feel bad about talking about how slow this series was in the beginning. It was but now it has significantly improved. That might all be changing soon now that the “plot” has ended and a new enemy must be established. But at this very moment I am happy.

Weird things in a series that has people with abilities? SAY IT AIN'T SO!!!

Proceed to read more spoilers and yayness from me about this episode. And don’t be like me and FREAK out when you see the credits rolling. The series is not ending yet. XD

And the scary fetus monster was here all along. Truly I miss the tiny details.

I would like to start off by saying how incredible slow/special I am. I was going on and on about how scary fetus monster was last week…and it was in the opening song. In my defense I usually fast forward the song or just listen to the music and not watch the screen. I like to multitask that way. So until today when I was fast forwarding the song again and it stopped on scary fetus. So I could have been scared all along! Yeah I am special.

But then again I kinda liked being surprised. If you watch the opening theme song and the one from To Aru Majutsu no Index a lot of the plot is given away. Harumi is walking around looking suspicious. Misaka blasting away the fetus baby. To Aru Majutsu no Index showed every single bad guy I believe. So while the songs from both series are awesome the openings spoil a lot for the viewer. XD Maybe for this next plot line I will not watch ANY of the opening so I can be 100 percent surprised.

AIM fields are beautiful. So very lovely.

Now on to the fetus baby who apparently thought he was from Akira. It was gross. And I wanted to stab it. I am 90 percent sure I understand that the heck it was supposed to be which makes me happy. Usually most of the terminology goes over my head and down the hall. Sometimes it ends up in my driveway and it becomes road kill by my own car. But giant fetus baby was the result of all the 10,000 Level Uppers sad thoughts and energy all being pulled together. Bitter thoughts are very scary. It makes me want to give everyone hugs when I see them because who knows when they will go insane on me next!

I'm useless and I can't get up!

Uiharu was so useless in this episode. So very useless. I know I go on and on about Kuroko but at least she has a power. And she wasn’t really in this episode. But Uiharu had to be all hero like and run down there with Misaka and Harumi when she really wasn’t needed. She was more a danger to Misaka who had to watch over her useless self. One might argue she came in at the end and saved the day (which several people congratulated her on) but did she really do that much? She uploaded a song. I am sure AntiSkill is educated enough to upload a song. I could probably upload a song.

Clicking three buttons is HARD!

And I KNOW Misaka could have jogged the memory stick up to the AntiSkills people BECAUSE SHE WAS TALKING TO THEM! She ran up the stairs and Ms. Glasses wearing lady was like MOG civilian is here. So Misaka could have run up there, give them the memory stick, and fought the fetus monster while THEY downloaded the song. But no, it had to be all dramatic with Uiharu nearly getting her legs blown off on stairs and her sweating it out downloading the song. All so when Saten sees her it was like Uiharu did that all to save her. Not buying it. USE YOUR POWER UIHARU!

Before or after they kill you for knowing too much?

Harumi was pretty much a second thought this week which is understandable. She had her moment last week. I did think she was going to be more pivotal in saving the day but alas she wasn’t. She sorta had a woe is me and life is horrible moment which again is also understandable. She has been through a lot and she thinks all these terrible things are her fault. Which…they might be in the case of the Level Uppers being unconscious but she really shouldn’t blame herself for the unconscious little kids. She tried to give Misaka some helpful information which was more common sense than super secret stuff. Misaka blasted the monster, it grew. Misaka uses super
power to melt the monster, doesn’t die. She then blasts it to pieces so the core thing is destroyed. She would have gotten to it eventually so Harumi wasn’t really important. She didn’t have to die because SHE was the core so…bleh.

Surprise Harumi! Misaka is awesome. Sorry you didn't get the memo.

But I am surprised she ended up getting arrested. I thought maybe she would slip away or Misaka would make it so that Harumi could get away so she could continue to save those kids. But since Harumi just mentioned last episode that the people in charge of Academy City were the ones being shady it shouldn’t be unexpected. They don’t want any more people knowing that they suck at life. That and Harumi did make 10,000 kids lose consciousness. She might have deserved to get arrested. But the way the villain turned hero plot is supposed to work is that we feel sorry for the former villain if the plot goes the right way. It did and I do feel bad. I am just glad she still has hope in her heart and dedication that she can save those kids.

Misaka kicked butt this week. Misaka always kicked butt so that is not much of a surprise. I always laugh when people don’t know who Misaka is. Silly Ms. Glasses wearing lady she is the legendary Level 5 Railgun! How do you people get position of power and not know these things?! Also Ms. Glasses wearing lady you were kinda sucking today. If I was about to be attacked by a fetus with backward arms I would let ANYONE save me. I wouldn’t care if they were a civilian SAVE ME PLEASE!

Sorry for...what?

I felt a little bad for Misaka when she had to hear all those sad thoughts from the Level Upper users. She thinks that the ability users in the city (see most of the city) are at fault for never considering the non ability users. I am sure there were/are ability users that picked on the weak people but that happens EVERYWHERE. And it would be basically the same thing, saying that all ability users are bad and flaunt their powers. They are just being who they are just like the non ability users. But besides that all Misaka was never one to flaunt her power. She (with the exception of Touma) treats everyone with respect no matter who they are. So when she was all :( is this my fault for being so awesome I was like err…none of this is your fault. You are who you are and you can’t change that. I guess that is a sign of kindness though in some random way.

Saten didn’t get much air time today which made me sad. :( I love you my little forgotten Saten. I thought she was going to have more of a closing thought on this entire situation but I suppose the conversation with Uiharu two episodes ago explained her feelings/reasoning on the situation. Maybe nothing was needed to say. I just wanted her to have a more active role. Maybe a little bit of sadness because she no longer has her new power? That she “caused” her other three friends to become unconscious? But I supposeeeeeeeeeee that she already went through all that jazz on the phone. I still love Saten though.

Time to be step and look shady for the next 12 episodes!

There was a TINY bit of next enemy hint with some random woman walking through the wreck site. One would assume that Misaka is going to stick to her word and find out more about what the city’s officials are keeping from her. Of course….aren’t they the ones who do the 20,000 sisters craziness? But being left in the dark is fine. XD

KILL IT WITH FIRE!

So this episode ends similar how the series started. Misaka is yelling at Kuroko. There is a bit of Uiharu’s underwear being exposed to the world. The entire city is protected by a 13 year old. But the girls have been through a lot these last 12 episodes and they have grown as people (hopefully). I am glad that the girls don’t blame Saten or hold any resentment towards her. XD All four girls can face the next 12 episodes as great friends ready to fight another crazy adult who is a bit insane. Yay for friendship! And hopes that the next plot is just as interesting!

CLAMP 3D Land figurines make great early Christmas presents!

It's almost Christmas time and for many that means tons of beautifully (or not so grand) wrapped presents under the tree. On December 25th we finally get to rip open all those gifts and see what our loved ones got us. Will they be awesome presents like new video games or will they be....socks?

I don't have to wait until Thursday. For me Christmas came a little bit early. Now normally I am not so greedy and wait to buy stuff for myself until after the holidays but I can't pass up a great deal. BEHOLD MY DEAL!

Fuu looks lovely in awful lightening!

Fuu is so cute. Even if Hikaru is my favorite Magic Knights Rayearth girl all three of the ladies are so awesome. I think I love her tiny little shoes the best. Go save the princess now (and find a Hikaru for me please!).

Flowers for me Nokoru?

I ain't going to lie. Nokoru wasn't high on my CLAMP 3D Land figurine want list. He probably was close to the bottom. But to get the deal I had to pick 5 so I went with him as my last choice. Truly I am awesome.

This figurine is on the small side which is sad. But I think the hair is done quite well and captures the style from the manga. Also big eyes are big.

Does Doumeki have an expression on his face?!

It's everyone's favorite stoic archer! He looks a little bit different without his spazzy (boy)friend by his side but Doumeki demands attention. Doumeki looks in your general direction, checking for spirits. I love the outfit they picked for him!

Kohaku is too cute for words!

And it is time for my favorite figurine out of this bunch! When I discovered this mini deal I knew I had to get it simply for Kohaku. He/she looks so graceful and angelic in their white robes balancing on their water power thingy thing. The wings are a little bit scary but that is more than made up with the details on the eyes. The smile really makes the figurine. Reach that hand out little Kohaku.

Fai welcomes are new lovelies!

My favorite CLAMP 3D Land figurine has decided to welcome this new crew to the house. Fai is always eager to make new friends. Kurogane was invited in the picture as well but if we had Doumeki and Kurogane in the same picture it might end the world. Fai is a good enough representative from the couple though. XD

Kobato characters reporting for duty!

Kobato is overjoyed that her friend Kohaku has decided to come live with us. XD Now they can be confused magical girls (?) together. The details on these two girls is pretty awesome out of the ones I have. I shall stick them together on the shelf so the messenger bunny can talk to them both. YAY FOR CROSSOVER CHARACTERS!

So that is my pre Christmas present from me to me. I had to get this deal because I am a greedy pig plus it is always nice to pay for the figurines you want instead of buying blind boxes. The fifth one I bought is one I already had and shall be a present to someone else. Because I am not THAT greedy!
