Black Bullet episode 3

 photo blackbulletepisode35_zps6fe8beba.jpg
Oh I know the feeling. Maybe not on the same level of course....it usually ends in tears though.
Man these Spring Anime 2014 shows are no joke. They are like BAM get this plot moving. We ain't got time for stories. We will literally spoon feed you all the info you need in boring ways just so we can move along faster. Keep up people. Especially me the late one. X___X So yeah Black Bullet episode 3. Just keep on keeping on with your Inheritance to the Seven Star deal. I am sure it will end well.
 photo blackbulletepisode36_zps948c7161.jpg
I am going to save the day even if no one cares about me! WAI the tears!
Episode Summary: A very upset Rentarou goes to visit Sumire. She seems distracted with her dinner thoughts while Rentarou tries to explain his story of woe. Enju tried to be a normal girl but her identity as a Cursed Child has been revealed and she has run away. Sumire starts off by talking about why humans kill the Gastrea. Rentarou thinks the answer is obvious while Sumire points out some religious freaks see this Gastrea problem as God's will and the Cursed Children are the in-betweeners. Rentarou gets pissed because Enju is a human being and nothing special. Sumire unnecessarily talks about how almost all Cursed Children are abandoned and have no idea how life really works. That Rentarou as her family needs to show her the way. As Rentarou leaves Sumire mentions Rentarou's supporter has requested meeting up with him sometime (the Grandfather dude). As Rentarou leaves Enju's teacher calls saying the girl has returned to school. Rentarou takes off in a panic imaging the worse. He gets there and the girl hasn't even made it inside yet. All the kids are calling her a Gastrea and she is insisting she is their friend and harmless. Rentarou suggests changing schools but Enju insists these are her friends. Rentarou points out they are not friends anymore due to them being scared. Before Enju can cry a helicopter amazingly comes to pick them up. As they travel Kisara explains the source of the infection as been found as well as maybe this mysterious box. They see the Gastrea...flying in the air despite being a nonflying bug. It has “evolved” by using a web as a way to glide. Enju immediately jumps out of the moving helicopter and starts fighting. Rentarou has to risk some limbs to join her but arrives just in time to see her kick the monster to death and cry. She has protected everyone, including her friends at her school so she is good now yes? It is a sad moment and Rentarou says he will be with her always and she doesn't need anyone else...yet. They will work to change it. Rentarou turns his attention to the box that was inside the Gastrea. Before Rentarou can reach the Inheritance of the Seven Stars he gets a ping. Suddenly Mr. Mask Hiruko is there. Rentarou and Hiruko “fight” as in Rentarou does one move and Hiruko kicks Rentarou's ass all over the place, shooting him in the process. Enju began the fight dealing with the daughter Kohina but grows worried over Rentarou. Rentarou urges her to run away.....so Kohina can focus on him instead? Yeah the tiny tot stabs Rentarou quite a bit. Hiruko finishes off Rentarou by shooting him again and sending Rentarou crashing into a stream.

Oh hi I am here to kick your ass. Have fun.
A flashback takes place, with a 6 year old Rentarou being in the hospital and having to make a choice, a choice offered by Sumire. Back in the present Rentarou wakes up and isn't....really that hurt despite it all. Kisara greets him warmly...then gets down to business. Hiruko has the box and inside it contains something that can summon a stage 5 Gastrea. Gastrea can normally reach stage 4 but when the war started 10 years ago there were a set number of stage 5's already around. These stage fives are immune to their new special metal and can knock down the barriers which in turns makes it possible for other Gastrea to enter that area. Hiruko plans on summoning the stage 5 because death is fun. Seitenshi calls Rentarou personally to go on a huge mission to find Hiruko outside the safety zone. There is some cryptic talk on why Rentarou is saying yes and how he is involved with this. He dramatically gets dressed, like he wasn't just nearly killed. Sumire meets with Rentarou and gives him some experimental drugs, telling him not to really use them....She tries to apologize for what she did to him ten years ago but Rentarou is fine with it. Kisara wishes Rentarou well and tells him to bring honor to their family and cow. Rentarou finally exits the hospital with Enju waiting in a let's do moment. Rentarou and Enju get on one of the many helicopters carrying other Initiator and Promoter pairs. Seitenshi is seen in another helicopter surrounded by lots of meaningless I mean shiny computers. The pairs are dropped off and Rentarou tries to avoid the Gastrea with a few close calls. He notes that some pairs are being dumb and using obvious weapons. They come across an abandon building where they think Hiruko is hiding out. It turns out a slightly injured Cursed Child is in there, the one paired with Shougen. Enju has a jealous attack and goes outside to guard as Rentarou takes care of the girl Kayo. She explains she panicked earlier when they mistook a Gastrea that had human looking lights and she is the one who fired off the obvious rounds. She got separated from Shougen and what not. Rentarou worries that she might have gotten more infected and she tells Rentarou not to worry. Kayo then just opens up her whole life story, saying she is jealous that Enju is well taken care of and has never killed a human. Why Shougen made her kill a pair on their way out here just so he can get the reward from getting Hiruko. Kayo knows that Rentarou has killed before but he still seems to have retained being a good person. Rentarou gets emotional, telling her to never get used to killing a human and Kayo finds herself getting emotional too. Shougen radios in at that moment saying that Hiruko has been found and to hurry. Despite killing another pair earlier Shougen is planning on attacking with other pairs. The trio marches along towards the sight, looking at buildings from the past and how that generation might have been more messed up than this Gastrea crap. THE END!
 photo blackbulletepisode33_zps2c72e8eb.jpg
So Enju went back to school. It went well.
So...I am sensing a theme here. A theme in which important things that happened in a previous episode just happen to get glossed over really fast in the next episode. Something that one thought was going to be an important plot just poof over and done with. I see indeed.
 photo blackbulletepisode32_zpsce6bb15e.jpg
I will cut a bitch if they touch Enju!
See last week I thought Rentarou was going to tear up the slums looking for Enju. That she was going to hang back and watch him look for her. Then the Gastrea behind the problems in episode 1 would pop up and Enju would appear and save Rentarou. There would be tears and reuniting with Rentarou trying to yell at her but clearly he only cares for her so it won't come across as yelling. She will cry and they will go back to town. She will look sadly at the school and Rentarou would say that he would be there for her and not to look back.
 photo blackbulletepisode3_zps406c81f9.jpg
Because they are killing us? Just saying....
Well none of that happened. Well the last part did. But Rentarou saw the old man in the slumy district and I guess just went on home. Or went to see Sumire. Seems awfully close to Sumire even though she is perverted and should be too busy for him. Is the future that bleak that everyone is going to eat awful looking food forever. In any event Rentarou told Sumire of his sad day and Sumire is that it boy? Lets just talk about the Gastrea instead since my role in life seems to be revealing important plot points. Just blurting them out to the audience. Why do we kill Gastrea? Um because Lizzy we do. Now just look at the flowers. I think it is fairly obvious why humans kill the Gastrea. Because they are trying to kill humans. It's not like they came peacefully or have tried to do anything peacefully since then. Now I can see people hating on the Gastrea but not the Cursed Children. I guess Gastrea WERE human but once they start flying in the sky and killing people it is game over. I guess Sumire is just putting this info out there, so when Hiruko starts going on and on about it later it will already be in Rentarou's head. For now Rentarou is on team humans and Cursed Children are humans. Infected but controllable humans and he is going to save Enju damn it! Thanks Sumire!!!
 photo blackbulletepisode34_zpsf9600386.jpg
Stupid little kids!
Now before Rentarou can actually locate Enju she located herself in a pretty ordinary way. Just went to school. So that means Rentarou is skippin his. Probably why his adopted Grandfather wants him to get his butt there. Anyway Enju was always going to go back, after she heard Rentarou's words. Only she wanted to go back and be a normal kid like Rentarou said she was. :( Yeah that didn't end well. Rentarou got to the school just in time to hear the kids say some awful things. Because the teachers can only call on the phone, not actually watch over the kids. I can maybe understand the kids being scared. They probably heard the adults talking about Gastrea and think well these kids are the same. That is why people need educate the masses, not be scared of the ones that can help them. :( Poor Enju. She wants to be brave like Rentarou but even he is like...we have to leave this school, it's over now. :( A lot to accept at such a young age.
 photo blackbulletepisode37_zps1e1aaf49.jpg
:( Just no respect.
Especially since her ass is on a helicopter 5 seconds later saving the world. No respect. How would the kids like it if the Cursed Children didn't exist and everyone just died? I mean as long as they aren't hurting me have at. Be all super and protect me. Enju was still an emotional mess though. Rentarou was getting details from Kisara about the Gastrea and it having the Inheritance when Enju just jumped out of the helicopter and attacked the giant monster. I mean...I do realize at this point Rentarou does have powers too, probably sponging off of hers but she is really the muscles of the group. He is the supervisor. So yeah Enju just jump on down and kick butt. Emotional butt on the flying spider. So when Rentarou does catch up with you you can cry. Am I a good girl now? Did I do a good job? :*( No kid. You can kill all the Gastrea you want but for now regular humans won't accept you. I DO THOUGH! I am glad Rentarou was able to get through this without it turning all Machine-Doll on us sexual. Enju just cried like a normal 10 year old and was sad. Life does suck and she could die there in the dirt and no one would care but Rentarou. All that work and no one would care. Except Rentarou. Hug it out.
 photo blackbulletepisode39_zps94a7d8b1.jpg
So why did Rentarou send Enju away again? To protect her from getting hurt? I see now.
Now that the box is right there ready for Rentarou to take...it is time for Hiruko to join up. Given how strong Kohina is I am sure they could have taken out the Gastrea and taken the box without ANYONE knowing. But no. That would be silly. I was a bit surprised that Hiruko didn't another effort to get Rentarou on his side. Instead Kohina went right to work on Enju and Rentarou got his ASS kicked. Like all over the damn place. Like Rentarou brought a knife to a nuke fight. It was so one sided it was almost laughable. Rentarou being the man and older person he is in this situation sent Enju away as to protect her when it was him that needed protecting. Yeah Rentarou was shot twice and stabbed twice and it looked like all his organs got smushed on the rock. Into the water he goes being a hero. And then it became Mami all over again. Show's over folks.
 photo blackbulletepisode310_zps4c072262.jpg
So is Rentarou a Gastrea? Like Enju? Sorta?
Or or....Rentarou will wake up in the hospital almost fine. I guess this scene showed us several things. Rentarou had a flashback from what I assumed was the beginning of the Gastrea war. I am going to assume when that giant monster flopped in front of him he didn't escape unharmed even though it looked like he did. It appears that Rentarou was either infected or lost some body parents. Sumire did something to Rentarou that she regrets to this day, asking a 6 year old Rentarou to make some sort of decision. Now is he like the Cursed Children? I hope not. That would make his support of them weaker. Not that he isn't a champion of justice but it would be self benefiting. Perhaps he is like Hiruko with some fake organs and body parts, made out of that special metal thus Hiruko finds him interesting. Either way Rentarou is special and Enju seems to know it. File that away for later information.
 photo blackbulletepisode311_zpsd3d665ae.jpg
Putting aside the french fry hair....why would you make this?! EVER?!
Also whatever Rentarou is means he can heal super fast. Hommie was really hurt and already he is waking up and being asked to go on missions. Because there are not enough pairs out there to help out Seitenshi? Yeah I doubt it. See Rentarou IS special and she knows it too. That she can only count on him. Good thing the government is down for regulating this. Kisara is a business person so clearly her only employees should go out on this dangerous mission to go after the man that nearly killed Rentarou. No rest for this kid, get out there and do your job. By the way....this Inheritance to the Seven Stars....um why does it exist? Why would anyone have in their possession something that can summon a strong Gastrea that is able to break down the barriers around the cities and let other Gastrea's in? Can someone explain to me why anyone would KEEP that? I guess they could summon the level 5's somewhere remote and attack them but baring that...yeah that makes no sense. Some crazy person out there might get a hold of it OH WAIT!
 photo blackbulletepisode315_zps4bbcfc62.jpg
Newflash: Gastrea can apparently be anything. I want to see a giant demon cat now. Or cow.
Since Rentarou didn't question why this item exists on with the show. Enju and Rentarou joined other teams in the helicopters but the section they reached the unsafe zones....everyone spread out and went alone. Or that is what it looks like. Again we need some government regulation here. Make them work as a team. Because if one team finds Hiruko he will just kill them and so on and so forth. Just makes no sense. As it is these different stages of Gastrea are...interesting. I guess they aren't just bugs. I thought the ones Enju and Rentarou already fought were hard core. Out in the wild they get pretty big and instead of fighting them running seems to be the best option. Surely this is a grand plan. Because a lot of teams weren't taken out by Hiruko last week. No no lets make sure some die in the woods too.
 photo blackbulletepisode317_zps59c12768.jpg
Let me see, divide the reward up 5 ways or die. LET ME THINK!
Along the way Rentarou and Enju run into Shougen's partner Kayo. There was a moment of jealously again like Machine-Doll but you know since these girls are 10 and under it makes me want to stab my eyes out. Good thing it's not as over the top. Enju actually does something useful though and stands guard during her jealous attack while Rentarou as a moment with Kayo. This girl really lets out all her emotions doesn't she? I didn't expect her to be opening up so fast so soon. I mean I don't really expect anything but I thought Rentarou would have patched her arm up and there would be stares and wondering. But Kayo just spewed out her feelings. Like Shougen is evil and just made me kill another pair for no reason and killing is hard. Enju is so lucky. You are a nice person Rentarou even though you have killed. Just whooooosh all out of her at once. X___X Poor Kayo. I would mention again that this needs regulation but I guess it is obvious by now.....Of course all of this makes Rentarou mad and he gets emotional. He will save everyone.
 photo blackbulletepisode318_zps15954bc0.jpg
Rentarou has a lot of feelings. :( Will he and his feelings survive this series?
The episode ends with Shougen contacting Kayo saying that they (more pairs) have found Hiruko. I wonder if he will be stopped before the box is opened and tada Gastrea level 5 time. I am sure special Rentarou can handle it...maybe. Maybe not though. Good thing that Shougen is working with other pairs now. You know since he didn't kill those others....just stupid. The episodes concludes with the group walking by parts of broken Japan, wondering what was worse, the previous generation or the Gastrea. I am going to go with flying spiders for 100 but yeah hurting little kids isn't my idea of a good time either. Until next time...

Nagi no Asukara episode 25

 photo nagiepisode2516_zps6342d45b.jpg
Oh snap are we going to have to go through this again?
Oh goodness it is the long forgotten anime Nagi no Asukara. XD What a slacker I am. But yes folks episode 25 was watched...a while ago. Hopefully I can remember enough to get around to blogging episode 26. For now has the episode 25 post. One full of Tsumugu being special and maybe Hikari getting a happy ending...at the expense of someone else?
 photo nagiepisode253_zps140eabf3.jpg
Mother of the year here folks. Almost killed the whole world.
Episode Summary: Manaka and Hikari look on impressed that things are coming together so fast. Probably because way more adults are involved this time from the start. Akari comes around with some snacks, bringing her little boy in tow. He is still upset about Manaka not giving him an answer about his love so he runs off. He runs into the other mains who are working on the maiden doll. The kids allow the little boy to move closer and he sees Manaka's necklace on the doll. They explain that necklace contains her love and was that the wrong thing to say. The little boy RUNS off with the necklace and tosses it in the damn ocean. Miuna and Tsumugu swim off after it because Chisaki is too delicate? I don't know. Miuna reaches the necklace first as it starts to fall apart. When Miuna grabs the necklace she hears the I love Hikari message Manaka whispered into it. Tsumugu confirms this when he swims up. Via flashback Tsumugu explains. When he caught Manaka the second time with his net she was on her way to the surface after reaching a revelation about the boy situation. She starts to cry in the boat as she looks at Tsumugu and she THINKS she is letting him down. She realizes that she loves the surface and how amazing it is..but being besides Hikari made it all the more wonderful. It is him she loves. Miuna is like um why didn't you SAY anything Tsumugu? Tsumugu is like well Hikari wants Manaka's love back so...he can work hard and earn it and all will be well? Yeah crazy. Anyway they return to the surface where the necklace is returned and the little boy is not punished. That night Manaka thinks it is her fault about the necklace because she doesn't know about love. She starts to hear the overwhelming sea again but when Miuna holds her head she feels okay. Tsumugu goes to see Chisaki as she works on more sewing. Earlier in the day Kaname asked to talk to Tsumugu and it turns out Kaname spilled ALL THE BEANS about what Chisaki said about love and everyone. Tsumugu informs her that Manaka has loved Hikari all along so Chisaki starts crying because she is a bad person and wanted this all along, for Hikari and Manaka to end up together so the group of 4 would remain the same. Tsumugu and his super serious face is like no you want to this be true so you can be with me. Chisaki is like....you are so sure of yourself...but lets Tsumugu hug her in his unromantic way. Then she cries because she doesn't want to be the only happy one. Later that night Miuna sees Hikari sneak out and she follows him, thinking something bad will happen. Turns out he was just going to see the boats. He says a lot is on the line, you know even saving the WORLD! Miuna basically makes Hikari admit he loves Manaka. She keeps demanding he say it over and over again until she bursts into tears and runs away. Hikari is like X__X as Miuna wants her heart broken so she can move on.
 photo nagiepisode25_zps1e519695.jpg
Miuna and Manaka evolve into....a super Hikari love mess?
Finally the day of the ceremony has arrived and Tsumugu's Gramps is let out of the hospital. While getting ready Manaka thanks the little boy for his letter and thinks since he responded positively love is like thanks. Kaname talks to Chisaki about the situation with LOVE and how Chisaki needs to not be a hero and do something stupid. She I guess promises not to even if she is worried because last time things didn't end well for her. Uroko arrives via car which is odd. He has a little hut set up and Hikari is his....errand boy it seems. Uroko doesn't seem too impressed with the maiden but since it is not the real deal you know....Hikari asks if the real maiden was pretty. Uroko says no, thinking that the humans at the time picked...average looking girls. Hikari acknowledges that Uroko and the sea god were once the same and asks what Uroko thought of the girl. Uroko explains that he was a shoulder scale but wished to have touched her. Uroko changes the subject and wants Hikari to show him what he can do, especially when the sea village won't be around to help this time. Thus the ceremony starts. Hikari leads the boat parade while the main girls man the torches. They manage to magically avoid all the ice and light the torches that are placed on the edge of the ice itself. Singing and what not. Even Uroko is praying. They reach the correct spot for the doll to be tossed in when suddenly things go wrong again. Something in the sea breaks and ice comes flying all over the place. The boats are tossed all around when SURPRISE Manaka and the doll get tossed overboard. Miuna, Hikari, Tsumugu, and Chisaki go after Manaka while Kaname goes to make sure Saya and other nonimportant people are okay. Miuna reaches Manaka first as Manaka was slowing dying from the sea she used to love. Suddenly EVERYTHING becomes magical. Miuna grabs Manaka and suddenly both of them start to glow like evolving Pokemon. Tsumugu and Hikari watch as Tsumugu explains that Miuna and Manaka are the same, they both love Hikari and that is why the energy is the same. Manaka wakes up and TADA as ena again. Because Miuna had Manaka's ena to begin with and love and sparkles and smiles. Everyone loves Hikari and the sea. After they smile the sea attacks them and Miuna pushes Manaka towards everyone and Miuna is taken down. Chisaki takes Manaka to the surface while Tsumugu and Hikari follow Miuna to the maiden doll graveyard. She is now in the giant hand and when Hikari goes for her he keeps being knocked back. Some string (probably the ena cocoon) starts to form and the boys panic. The maiden doll starts to fall close to the trio, with Manaka's voice saying she loves Hikari. Miuna smiles as she sees Hikari and then....THE END!
 photo nagiepisode2511_zps487002dc.jpg
Mog STILL Chisaki?
OH BOY FOLKS! Oh boy indeed. If you thought the last ceremony was full of drama and people saving people which caused people to save people and people to sacrificing themselves for others....well put that aside folks. Because the drama factor is through the roof.
 photo nagiepisode254_zpsf1c63f29.jpg
Quick no one go after him!
To start off with Tsumugu sucks. Okay maybe I need to back that up. And remember that I watched this episode like a million years ago. Akari needs to watch that boy of hers! Yes that is where I needed to back up to. Everyone is working hard on Tsumugu's plan for a big beautiful tomorrow...that actually exists and all Akari has to do is hold her kid's hand. Instead he takes off running and no one has the speed to catch this pint size lover before he throws the necklace into the ocean. GASP! Everyone look shocked. You are in time out now mister. Bad little boy, that was our only hope in saving the world. You think about what you did. Oh also Manaka's feelings.
 photo nagiepisode256_zps331a90b2.jpg
Because he has been hanging around Chisaki too long and now he sucks too.
Okay now back to Tsumugu being a jerk. Since all the kids started waking up Chisaki has been doing less and less. Because she is a delicate flower who has never been in the ocean before and she must be protected from everything at all times. Surely sending in the new kids, the ones who just got ena, should go after this necklace. Apparently this magical stone the seaslug spits up disintegrates in the water.........you know...because it hasn't been in the water for the last 5 years. And during it's time in the water it hadn't been playing the I love Hikari message for EVERYONE to hear. This anime is magical. Now since Miuna is new to this love orgy mess she was under the impressed that Manaka loves Tsumugu and that Hikari was putting himself out there knowing the girl of his dreams was in love with someone else. But now things aren't so tragic because Manaka picked Hikari 5 years ago. He wasn't the second choice. Yay everyone.
 photo nagiepisode255_zps373e874f.jpg
Quick tell no one Tsumugu!
Except Tsumugu KNEW Manaka liked Hikari. KNEW 5 YEARS AGO!!!! Right before the ceremony Manaka had a moment where Hikari confessed to her and she went all feelings on him. Went and had a cry. Apparently she figured out she loved Hikari but was caught again in Tsumugu's net like it was fate. Implying she couldn't escape from the fact that she should be with Tsumugu and she was all upset about that. Well it turns out she didn't have any doubts about being in love with Hikari. When she got on Tsumugu's boat they were playing a little oh just be Japanese and don't say what you mean. But then it was put out there. I think in a way Manaka thought she was letting down Tsumugu. Probably because we all thought Tsumugu liked Manaka back then. But nope Kaname saw team Chisaki all the way with Tsumugu so he just smiled at Manaka's confession. Tsumugu knew this for 5 years! Now granted there was no one really to tell this to for it to make a difference. Neither Hikari or Manaka were awake. But when people started opening their eyes maybe he could have told them? Let Chisaki know that Manaka and Hikari were in love with each other so maybe she could get over Hikari faster and fall in love with him? No? It is just best to hold onto this information while the entire group falls apart and you casually just say who Manaka loves. Miuna should have stabbed him. Making Hikari earn his love indeed.
 photo nagiepisode257_zps2aa2e0d4.jpg
Oh you make me feel so much better Miuna.....
After the necklace is saved everyone went home for some rest. Well not Manaka who is still hearing the sea when she almost thinks of love. Must give her a headache since she lived in the sea and it probably sounds different when you are in the water. There was a moment folks....a moment when Miuna hugged Manaka's head and Manaka felt better. I sorta panicked. I didn't think this love orgy could get any bigger. Why was Miuna making Manaka feeling better?! XO This isn't possible, Miuna can't be the one who fixes Manaka and shows her what love is right?! This can only lead to mountains and queerats!!!!! But...it would be a pretty unexpected turn. Sorry little man, can't love you because I love your sister.
 photo nagiepisode259_zps1d44d0fc.jpg
I almost find it adorable that Tsumugu is this honest and confused about love.
Elsewhere in never sleeping lady Tsumugu hates bro code. Like he keeps secrets when he shouldn't and he spills new one he got like 4 hours ago. Settle this man to man indeed. Of course...Kaname probably wanted Tsumugu to tell Chisaki all of this so maybe Kaname is the one breaking trust with Chisaki? Since Kaname has suffered so much already I don't mind. Did Chisaki ask Kaname to keep that all a secret? Maybe he can skate by on that. Anyway Tsumugu tells Chisaki he knows about all her crybabyitis and that she can move on from this as Hikari loves Manaka. Meaning THEY can be together. Chisaki went from not wanting Manaka to have her ability to love back to wanting Manaka to be with Hikari to not wanting to be with Tsumugu because if she is happy and no one else is the world will end. This girl makes my head spin. X____X Tsumugu probably needs to work on the romance. He is a little wooden in everything he does and love seems to be no exception.
 photo nagiepisode2510_zps236d0958.jpg
I demand you break my heart more!
Because everyone went home to get some sleep Hikari sneaks off in the middle of the night to look at the preparations. But Miuna doesn't know what and panics after Hikari. This ends up being a bad or good idea depending on how you look at things. And really Miuna did it to herself so I think it must be positive. She made Hikari say a million times he loved Manaka. Miuna needed to hear that. To move on from Hikari. Like okay I heard it and I have seen it, there is no chance for me. I need to break my heart into tiny pieces so I can move on. Closure. Because this whole confessing thing hasn't been working out for anyone thus far. Skip that part and get straight to the broken heart. Hikari was like.....what the heck?
 photo nagiepisode2515_zps14f49cd4.jpg
Look at that, Kaname picking Sayu weee!
Finally the next day rolls around. I guess we can assume that Sayu and Kaname cried all night too since everyone else was being insane. There were a few moments before the ceremony that were shown. Manaka trying to figure out what love is via the little boy and some apology. And we can't forget about Chisaki trying to make everything about her again. Maybe I should throw myself in the ocean now since Manaka suffered all those years ago. Yeah because that really shows Tsumugu how much you love him. Can...can Chisaki just go away now? Here help Gramps out of the car so he can watch the ceremony. Everyone hurry up and get this show on the road.
 photo nagiepisode2512_zps125b668f.jpg
I am sure there is a story behind this too..
Uroko and Hikari have a moment before the ceremony. One that lets Hikari know that Uroko isn't this cold hearted god that hates everyone. Maybe he could have let people know a little sooner that the Earth was slowly freezing over but you know....details. The wooden maiden is just okay but then again according to Uroko the original maiden was just okay. Probably a lie to protect his feelings. Uroko keeps saying he is just a scale but it is hard to picture that. The soul is in the body so Uroko must have a piece of his soul to remember all of this. I am sure Uroko cares about the situation and tries to not think about it. Onward to the ceremony boy. Lets see what we can do.
 photo nagiepisode2513_zpsa5492c8e.jpg
Yay things are going well!
Just like last time the ceremony started off well. Akari wasn't the maiden this time. All the major players were doing something important. Good thing all the ice chunks were out of the way for the ships. It really did look different due to the fact there was no glowing from under the sea. Since no one is there to glow......It is magical anyway. Everything is going to be okay. There is hope. Smiles. We will save Manaka's feelings. Get her love back. Oh and save the world. If we can. That is the second goal after all.
 photo nagiepisode2514_zps80f6922b.jpg
Are you kidding me?!
5 seconds later things go bad. This sea god is PISSED ya'll. Nothing is ever good enough for him! Can't he just wait until they throw the doll in before he automatically assumes the ceremony is going to suck? Loser. So in Manaka goes. This time it actually IS dangerous as the person who gets flung in has no ena. Most of the mains end up in the water actually but Kaname is going his own way now. Gotta make sure my girl stays on the boat AND I STAY WITH HER! Ain't having no Romeo come along and save her for me hahaha. Yay Sayu and Kaname. Inside the water everyone is going after Manaka and Miuna finds her first. She is quite the swimmer despite the fact she just got her ena. And then it was sparkle time. Again I was worried. Well not worried. Just...Miuna was making Manaka sparkle and that maybe...just maybe Hikari was going to be the odd man out of this lovely love orgy. Like girl power for real type deal.
 photo nagiepisode252_zpsea239ea9.jpg
I did it all for the Hikari.
Nope. Turns out that Miuna has Manaka's ena and loves Hikari so that makes them the same. The ocean is full of feelings and so is Miuna. She manages to get Manaka's ena back which is good since that was a rather sad side effect of all this suck. Smile we both love Hikari isn't it awesome. Again 5 seconds later there was more suck. Like literally. Everyone was looking at the sparkles when WHOOSH time to steal Manaka again. Only Miuna was like no, I am alone in the love orgy I will be the sacrifice. Take that Chisaki. There is no happiness for this crew. Thankfully Chisaki was useful enough to take Manaka back to the surface while Hikari and Tsumugu went to rescue Miuna. Miuna decided it would be nice to hang out in Manaka's old spot, the giant hand with all the other wooden dolls. Complete with ena webs. What will happen now?! XO Will Hikari rescue her? Are we going to repeat this process year after year? Guess we will find out next time won't we? Or you know...2 months ago because I suck. XD

Gokukoku no Brynhildr episode 2

What? Anime posts? On Tenchi's blog? Lies. She is off being a slacker. Or you know filling her Pokemon X with every single Pokemon. It wasn't enough to fill the Pokedex. No no, I wanted to have every single possible Pokemon possible so when the new game rolls around and I can transfer weeee easy peasy. Clearly I have no life.
 photo gokukokunobrynhildrepisode25_zps2965561e.jpg
Keep this in mind for later...
Maybe tomorrow will be the day when I post more anime things. Start May off right. In between dodging random raindrops of doom. But for now here is a few things I have been working on. Up now is Gokukoku no Brynhildr episode 2. Spoilers for things...probably not ever going Neko's way.
 photo gokukokunobrynhildrepisode23_zpsd8cf7e89.jpg
Dramatic walking away time.
Episode Summary: Ryouta looks on in shock that Neko has used her powers to save him. She looks pissed off with herself, that Ryouta didn't listen to her the first time and she had to reveal herself to him. She worries about the lab and consequences and tells Ryouta to forget about all of this and tell no one nothing. NO ONE NOTHING. Ryouta seems shocked that she might be killed for this and wants more details but she leaves him. That night he thinks of Kuroneko, how when they were kids she was pretending to not be excited about going on a school trip to the beach but in reality she was beyond excited. Kuroneko never got to see that beach Ryouta thinks sadly to himself over some yummy breakfast. At school he is slightly disappointed not to see Neko there. His teacher notes her absence but doesn't question why the new exchange student isn't there nor is the near drowning brought up. Instead the homeroom teacher gives Ryouta the student transfer form and beach field trip form to give to Neko since she lives near the observatory. Ryouta is like HMMMM why do I have to do this as he walks home. Up the mountain he goes thinking as about 394 million military looking trucks pass him by. He briefly thinks to himself this is odd but he continues on. Inside said trucks there are two naked tied up girls, one looking like Neko. Ryouta quickly realizes that Neko gave a fake address at the top of the mountain. He sees an abandon village that was supposed to be underwater by now but the dam project never went through. Since Neko is on the run this might be a good place to hide out. Ryouta heads down and finds Neko hanging laundry and singing to herself. Ryouta remarks at her happy demeanor but once he says it obviously it disappears. He explains he is there with her transfer form but she stops him fast. Since she saved the people who were going to die she is not returning to school. He seems upset and Neko starts talking about how she was locked in a lab for 10 years and maybe wanted to see school...but now he needs to leave. He tries to explain she needs to go to school (for obvious and social reasons) and that she is a good person for saving people at the same time. Suddenly there is a weird/awful noise heard, sorta human. Ryouta thinks someone is in trouble but Neko forces Ryouta to leave with her powers.
 photo gokukokunobrynhildrepisode24_zps91cb1559.jpg
She is ready for a random flash flood. Also these flashbacks are sad given what we know is going to happen later....
As Ryouta walks back to the fence he realizes he is obsessed with this girl for obvious reasons and makes an excuse that he didn't show her the field trip form to go back to her house. He just walks right in and hears her talking to someone else, that person never responding. She is talking about him, listing varies reasons why they shouldn't be friends. She leaves the room to get meds for herself and whoever she is talking too so Ryouta takes the time to be notice. He at first thinks no one is in the room but upon entering sees a young girl laying motionless on the bed. She begins to think she is a doll when Neko returns and is like that is Kana and she is alive. Neko explains that the lab did tests on Kana too. She is paralyzed but she has the ability to see the future. She can sorta move her fingers so she types to Neko who is going to die next. Ryouta goes to thank Kana but the second the girl has her device for type she goes on and on about how creepy Ryouta is. She then switches gears and tells Neko that one of their witch friends has been kidnapped. She is seen being all naked with her apparently normal friend back to the lab. Neko wants to go after them but Kana tells her it is too late. Neko breaks down and tells Ryouta to leave. He does so and leaves the forms on the table. Kana tells Neko she needs to enjoy life as they won't last long, to go to school for the both of them. So the next day Neko shows up and Ryouta is happy. That is until Neko is chosen to read in class. She has trouble with simple words and Ryouta fakes a sickness to get permission to get Neko to take him to the clinic. He teases her about not reading well until he realizes she probably doesn't have past a 1st grade education. He tells her to try harder if she wants to be taken seriously in this school. He changes the subject to the school trip and if she is excited. He talks about Kuroneko which makes Neko on the defensive since that is not her. Kana calls and says someone nearby will be killed in 15 minutes. Neko takes off and Ryouta follows her since he knows the way. They nearly run into someone leaving the school who yells at them. They pull themselves together and run the entire 15 minutes only to just miss a car crashing into a building. Neko gets upset as she was unable to save someone when they realize the person they ran into WAS the victim but since they accidentally stalled her she lived. Ryouta makes a joke while Neko is just happy. Meanwhile back at the lab the naked witch is taken somewhere and told since she used her powers in front of someone normal they will die and so shall she. She begs for mercy but some doc pulls her plug in the back and she dissolves into disgusting ooze. After that heartfelt scene Kana and Neko are seen talking. Kana is starving so Neko is going to pull a Katniss and look for some herbs or people named Peeta to save them. Thankfully their Peeta AKA Ryouta arrives with treats. CAKE!!!! It looks so delicious...and Neko places it in the blender to feed to Kana since she can't chew. Both girls are beyond happy and Ryouta realizes how tough things have been for them and that he wants to stay with them. He worries it might have to do with Kuroneko though. Before he leaves Neko tells Ryouta she will go on the trip to the ocean but not because she is Kuroneko. Before Ryouta can be happy Neko gets a super bad nose bleed and blood is everywhere. The next day she is not at school. THE END!

Err is this series going to end in tears?
Did I miss something big? Like a lot of plot? Is this really episode 2? Let me go check really fast. Yep this was episode 2. Well I see then. What to do what to do...
 photo gokukokunobrynhildrepisode22_zps45d5356b.jpg
A serious conversation.....didn't you two just meet?!
What I am referring to is Neko talking about the lab with Ryouta. Just...out of the blue. Maybe I was like Ryouta last episode and was focusing on the lack of moles on her neck and not the words coming out of her mouth. I heard talk about being a witch and drugs and what not. And maybe I am over dramatic because it is not like she went into great detail about the lab. But I do think that she did handle it casually. Like look don't tell anyone about this or the lab will kill me. Peace out, I am leaving now. It just bothered me for some reason, how some important piece of information was just thrown out there with no fanfare or emotion. Like yep I ran away from a lab that made me a witch and they will kill me one day. Have a good day Ryouta.
 photo gokukokunobrynhildrepisode28_zpsad722296.jpg
Lalala we are talking about the lab.
So I guess what is done and done, this lab issue was introduced very quickly in episode 2. Neko wasn't going to keep it a secret. She was just going to blurt it out to some random person who may be too obsessed with her. Maybe Neko and the gang just broke out of the lab and she doesn't know how to be sneaky? I thought with episode 1 it seemed she and her partner had a system, meaning they had been doing this a while. But given what I know now from this episode...maybe they just broke out and Neko hasn't really learned to be sneaky and withholding of the information. She just happened to tell Ryouta who thinks she is Kuroneko, his long lost childhood friend. So now he will have dreams/memories of his little lost friend. How she was excited to go to the beach and what not. That aliens were important but so was having fun. Poor Ryouta still thinking about this girl. I guess it is going to happen, since Neko reminds him of her. They are totally not the same person you know...
 photo gokukokunobrynhildrepisode26_zpse11ee903.jpg
Oh yeah I totally forgot about this...
I am sure Ryouta was going to ask Neko more about this at school. To the point where she was going to get physical with him. Like I told you not to do this. But....Neko wasn't at school. XO What a bad first impression, missing your second day of school! Mr. homeroom teacher didn't seem that worried and sent Ryouta Neko's paperwork. Because obviously he lives the closest to Neko. Was that going to be up for discussion? Well not lived closest to her but it was on the way to the conservatory. Ryouta probably would have volunteered anyway so it doesn't matter. I wonder what someone else would have done if they found out the address Neko gave was fake. I know addresses in Japan can be complicated. Since Ryouta is invested in Neko and her secrets he was on the case. What? An abandoned town that was to be swept away because of a dam? Hmmm better go investigate.
 photo gokukokunobrynhildrepisode27_zps948de80e.jpg
These shoes are tragic. Also Neko might have to attend a lot of schools to save everyone....
Girls like to be cute in private. If you call us out on our in private cute we will get defensive and deny it. Because that is how we roll. Get with the program Ryouta. Especially with Neko because she is a witch on the run and you already see your other friend in her. I think that Ryouta should have gotten the fact that Neko wasn't returning to school pretty fast. Like um she is on the run and scared. Plus she is just out to save as many people as she can. Time to move on. This might be a little odd after a while and might not be a good plan to save the most people but Neko doesn't seem to have much education and worldly experience. She is doing the best she can with what she has though. Trying is always good. XD Maybe Ryouta did get it, he is just in denial. And pushy. Although if I was hearing those...odd noises coming from the house I'd be worried too. Perhaps if she didn't have powers Ryouta would have gone and investigated...
 photo gokukokunobrynhildrepisode29_zpsbca1c40d.jpg
I am assuming everything you do at this point is for Neko but that is just me.
Oh wait he did. Because handing Neko both sets of paperwork at the same time was silly. Back to the house we go. Because Ryouta needs Neko to go to the beach school trip because of his Kuroneko never got to go. :( And in that flashback we saw just how excited she had been for it. Ryouta is still stuck in the past and is trying to put Neko into this role. Probably because it is her. Into the house he goes to hear Neko having a conversation with herself. At this point I might have run away in fear. Like this girl speaks of powers, an evil lab, and is talking to herself. Sorry Kuroneko, it is time to retire you from my mind and run away in terror. But Ryouta sticks around as Neko needs to give herself and whoever she is talking to pills. Animes this season are full of girls with medical conditions. X___X
 photo gokukokunobrynhildrepisode211_zpsb4caa370.jpg
:( Well this can't get any sadder...
Turns out that Neko was talking to someone and isn't crazy. Maybe. Enter Kana. Can I just say....that before we saw what was happening with the other girls this episode...that I thought this was the saddest thing ever. That obviously experimenting on girls and making them into witches that are so horribly treated they run away at great risk to themselves.....but now...just wow. Hello we are going to inject shit into you just because we can and oppies you are paralyzed for life. But hey you can see into the future. Points for us. So even if Neko is rough around the edges she is amazing for being with this girl. There probably have been some close calls because Kana can't...move and yet Neko has stuck with her. They are a team, seeing the future and saving lives. Just...just BAWWW!
 photo gokukokunobrynhildrepisode210_zps854eb10c.jpg
Well it is a good thing they ran away from the lab so they can live long lives....
Oh and in case that wasn't sad enough these girls aren't going to live that long. Ryouta listened to all their words, as harsh as they were and was sad. Like :( you should come to school when CLEARLY Kana needs to be taken care of. Probably beyond what Neko can do but that really isn't her fault. But after Ryouta left Kana told Neko she should go to school for the both of them. That Kana will never be normal and Neko should have fun. Not to feel guilty because Kana can't do it. But also because they are going to die soon. Even though they have escaped the lab and have pills clearly something is really wrong with them due to these experiments and their life span has been cut short. Will this series end in tears? Probably given the opening song. Did I mention that song was AWESOME? Because it was. Can't wait for the full version.
 photo gokukokunobrynhildrepisode215_zps15c9c37c.jpg
Yay we saved someone who needs an attitude adjustment!
Due to Kana's insistence and maybe some curiosity Neko does show up at school the next day. I am not sure how long Neko can maintain this lie as she doesn't have much of an education. Surely it will come up eventually. Life isn't all school trips and festivals. I wouldn't call Neko stupid; she just has had a hard lot in life. She will be in danger if she slips up. Ryouta can only help her out so much. But still Ryouta was happy to see her there and that she is going on the school trip. I like how Neko keeps saying she is not Kuroneko. Like I am me and you need to remember that. Even if she is Kuroneko. That being said this school needs some security. Kids running around for at least 30 minutes trying to save someone and no one notices. I SEE NOW. That woman they did save was a bit rude but as Neko says with tears in her eyes...saving someone is important. The butterfly effect by anime.
 photo gokukokunobrynhildrepisode217_zps8039f152.jpg
A world without cake? SO SAD!
So did everyone BAW at the fact that Kana and Neko were THAT happy with cake? I mean these girls aren't doing so well on their own and I can't blame them. How are they surviving on just herbs? Just...just so sad. I am putting aside the fact that Kana's body does need to be moved every once in a while or it will deteriorate but yeah. Proper nutrition is necessary. So when Ryouta came in bearing food those were tears of silly happiness for the viewers but in reality...they were really sad tears. For me at least. No shade. Did I really just type that? I did. But yeah not having any decent food since the lab and no cake for 10 years...just....just :( No wonder Ryouta was having the feelings at this scene. I was too. The moments there were to be happy were just bittersweet to me. :(
 photo gokukokunobrynhildrepisode216_zps53bb8032.jpg
And then the girl melted into ooze. The end.
Oh also the reason why this happy scene wasn't so happy to me was what happened right before it. Early in the episode there was an overkill of military vehicles driving by Ryouta. A red herring as we were supposed to think Neko was in one of the vans and that is why she wasn't at school. We learn later from Kana that it was one of their mutual friends that escaped from the lab that was recaptured. I wonder why they couldn't meet up. Maybe Kana has visions of bad things and it was too late. Like she couldn't locate the girl in time when she saw the vision. But yeah right before Neko and Kana had cake we got to see what happens to witches. Witches that escape the lab and the friends they make along the way. The human friend was probably killed off screen in some....quick way but the capture witch. Yeah those ports on their neck are important. The drugs that keep the girls alive also keep them in one piece. Because you pull that port and the witch melts. And we are not talking Wizard of Oz sinking to the floor melting. We are talking ooze city, screaming in pain disgustingness. Just...wow folks. This show is serious business.
 photo gokukokunobrynhildrepisode2_zps4556d27f.jpg
Is Neko going to make it to the beach....?
So yeah folks. Such a happy show right? In the end Ryouta might get his childhood friend back but for how long? Even if they do defeat the lab Neko and Kana might not last that long anyway. And what is up with this evil ass lab? Are they over the top evil enough? Just....I am not sure anything could justify this but I still want to know the point. Guess we will find out in due time but for now...lets go to the beach weeee!

Black Bullet episode 2

 photo blackbulletepisode2_zpsa5773143.jpg
The Ministry of Defense wants to talk to the people doing the actual defensing? I see now.
Weee! Here is the last of the posts that were practically done, just needed the screenies inserted into them. There is about 5 posts that are halfway done with no screenies waiting in my little folder. But then everyday more new episodes come out and I want to race to watch them without finishing everything else. X___X I need to sit down and get this straighten out. Focus. I need some. Or Easter candy. Yeah I will get Easter candy now and focus tomorrow. For now you all can have Black Bullet episode 2. You can have some of your own Easter candy if that is how your roll. XD Spoilers for this episode include some really stupid people running the world. I guess everyone in the future wants to die?
 photo blackbulletepisode22_zpsc47e866d.jpg
Err....am I late to the party?
Episode Summary: Rentarou is sitting in class when he gets word that Kisara is summoning him for something important. Into a large and important building he goes. All of the Promoter/Initiator pairs in this section of Tokyo have been summoned by their ruler Seitenshi. Rentarou and Kisara arrive without Enju in tow to a room full of other protection agency people. Rentarou immediately gets into it with a man named Shougen who refers to his Initiator as a weapon and not a person. Kisara advices Rentarou to be quiet as that man is ranked 1,XXX out of 700,000 pairs in the world while Rentarou and Enju are 1XX,XXX. They sit down and the meeting begins with one agency not showing up. Seitenshi appears on screen, not attending the meeting in person. She is with her guardian, a man that took in Rentarou after the war and Kisara's natural grandfather. Interesting behaviors from those two regarding that issue. Seitenshi starts off the meeting telling everyone they need to accept the mission now or get out...before knowing the mission. Everyone accepts and Seitenshi barely explains that they are needed in the already known task in finding the Gastrea from last episode and finding a suitcase/box of some kind. Kisara stands up and demands to know what is in the box. Seitenshi gets a little HMMMM when she realizes who Kisara is related to but does not explain what is in the box. Mr. Mask face is like Oh I know what is in the box. Everyone looks shocked to see this man sitting in the empty company seat. Mr. Mask man is like oh I got in by taking care of a few people guarding the door...turning them into little splats.....Rentarou takes it upon himself to handle most of the situation, getting up and demanding answers. Eventually everyone pulls out their guns and start firing on Mr. Mask man. He puts up some sort of shield and holds the bullets in the air. He explains that he is able to do this because most of his organs have been replaced with Varanium. He introduces himself as Hiruko, part of an experimental group to fight the Gastrea/progress humanity. Everyone is MOG shocked. Hiruko introduces his Initiator daughter Kohina and her knife loving self. Hiruko explains that he knows the Inheritance of the Seven Stars and that Seitenshi wants to destroy it. Hiruko seems to want it for something else and will wager everyone's lives against his on finding it first. He then proceeds to let go of the bullets and into tons of people they go. Hiruko leaves a present for the uninjured Rentarou and leaves out the window with his daughter. The present turns out to be the head of the missing company man. Later on...as if nothing has happened Rentarou walks in the local arcade with Enju who is going on about magical girl bracelets and how she and Rentarou match now. Rentarou is thinking about the mission but mainly how Hiruko knows something he doesn't. Rentarou is upset about how some of the other Promoters were treating their Initiators. As they are walking they see some store owners manhandling a Cursed Child. The police officers get involved as the girl apparently stole something and nearly killed someone trying to escape. A crowd gathers scared and hateful of the little girl. The girl looks to Enju for help and Enju reaches for her. Rentarou holds her back and the little girl is taken away.
 photo blackbulletepisode213_zps638d5c95.jpg
You can do anything Rentarou! Go back and save her!
As the crowd leaves Enju gets really, really upset. When she was growing up in the outer districts she sorta ran into this girl and she was calling for help. But even if she didn't know the girl Cursed Children are in this together and Enju thought Rentarou was better than this. Rentarou tells Enju to go on home. He goes off in the direction of the policeman and girl. Only when he finds them the officers shoot the girl multiple times, once in the head when she keeps on twitching. Rentarou walks over to the girl, beyond upset that this has happened. Why is the world so cruel to these girls, the only ones that can protect them from the real Gastrea? Suddenly the girl starts moving and Rentarou realizes there is still hope. He runs her to the nearest hospital/doctor who manages to save her life. Rentarou offers to pay the bills despite putting him in the red that month. The doctor sees Rentarou as being very kind. Only Rentarou is just thinking about when he met Enju, a very...wild girl a year ago who had been in the Outer Districts, with the other Cursed Children. She clearly didn't like the situation she found herself in but over time she grew to be more “human” like, coming to like Rentarou even. Rentarou sees these kids are more than tools. As Rentarou walks along Hiruko and his lovely sharp object loving daughter Kohina. Hiruko is interested in Rentarou and doesn't know why but wants the boy to join him. If not...Kohina wants to cut him into tiny pieces. Rentarou obviously is not feeling this offer and Kohina wants to go postal on Rentarou but Enju appears out of nowhere, fighting against Kohina. Neither girl win and surprised with the other's abilities. Hiruko tells Rentarou he needs to rethink his position about joining him and making Enju into a normal girl. Rentarou refuses and ends up running to Enju's school the next day all frantic like. Apparently a rumor broke out that Enju was a Cursed Child and when she wouldn't deny it the kids taunted her and she ran away. The teacher isn't happy that Rentarou lied but all Rentarou wanted to do was help. The teacher says that Enju has gone home to Rentarou goes to their apartment. When she is not there he grows upset, that she doesn't consider this her home. He then travels to the Outer Districts, the one that Enju grew up in. Tons of Cursed Children everywhere looking sad. He locates one and when she doesn't know Enju offers to take him to an Elder, an actual adult. He greets Rentarou as many Cursed Children surround him. The man learns that Rentarou is a Promoter and suggests that he just pick out a new kid as sometimes these matches don't work. Rentarou gets really upset, saying he sees Enju more than just a weapon and he wants her back, that she means something to him and he wants to make this better. He leaves and the old man asks Enju if it is okay to let him go like that. THE END!
 photo blackbulletepisode220_zps8529cc6d.jpg
Hopefully she left to give HIM a better life because....not seeing much of a future for her outside Rentarou.
So....that was different. And special. Yeah sometimes I think shows of a certain nature expect the viewers to totally turn off their brain to logic and reason. Just watch and enjoy it. I mean...I am the queen of awful Sci-fi movies am I not? But sometimes...just because a movie or show has concepts that aren't possible means that everything that IS possible gets thrown to the wind. That everyone loses their mind and ability to reason with situations they can control.
 photo blackbulletepisode214_zps458a9f09.jpg
Yay police......does anyone want to be alive in this future or what?
The most glaring example of this what the hell behavior was this meeting with all the “protection companies”. I said in episode 1 that I thought it was weird the military didn't have their hands in this Initiator/Promoter business. Like okay take the few girls who were born after this terrible event and train them efficiently. I mean....as a person who doesn't want any suffering or being discriminated against I could argue that the government could protect these Cursed Girls from abuse. Being out in the public being abused. With the proper motivation get the normal citizens to view them almost like heroes. Idols even. You know, having a hard in protecting the world instead of leaving it up and open like a business opportunity makes NO sense.
 photo blackbulletepisode215_zps2735e900.jpg
The future is protected by 10 year old girls and younger while adults abuse and kill them for being different. I totally understand.
This is all what I thought in episode 1. Now episode 2 rolls around and I am like what the hell folks. What the hell. Forgive me if I jump around in this episode and don't cover every topic chronologically. But yeah we learned this episode that Rentarou and Enju's little arrangement with Kisara is not a really rare one. It is happening all over the world. And this section of Japan there seems to be a bunch. Almost like contract employees that the government hires when a particular job gets rough. And get this....the number of pairs in the entire world is 700,000. 700,000. Just let that sink in.
 photo blackbulletepisode24_zps63756fe2.jpg
X___X How many people are on Earth right now?
There are 700,000 PAIRS right now. That means there are 700,000 Cursed Children (girls) fighting against the Gastrea currently. Only fighting. This number does not include all the girls that are apparently living in the slums of whatever cities are left. That actual number of Cursed girls is unknown yet Rentarou made it sound like this is a rare thing, to be born with Gastrea deep in your system. This show is taking place in the distant future. The population currently is at 7.15 billion. So we will just say that maybe this show takes place when there are 8 billion people in the world. That means if EVERYONE survived the Gastrea attack...well this show would be impossible unless Cursed Children aren't that rare. But yeah not everyone survived this attack. Humanity almost lost, got pushed back. Is suffering. Taken 10 years to reach a happy place. So I am going to assume SOME people did die in these attacks and half the population of Earth is woman so carry the 4 add a lot....yeah unless there was a MAJOR subbing error how the hell are there 700,000 PAIRS in this world.
 photo blackbulletepisode219_zps9d0f0b88.jpg
I would believe number 328. Not 700,000.
I mean with numbers like this every single girl born after the Gastrea attack is a Cursed Child. Yet everyone and their mom is attacking afraid of them. Can I get my mind off this number so I can enjoy the show? I know that Kisara said this figure to Rentarou to show him how outranked he was against Shougen but now this making me question the entire show. How can the public be so afraid of these girls when there are so many of them? I mean...I know this is like a zombie situation. Naturally you would be afraid of something that out numbers you. But damn. These are people's kids. At the very least normal humans could be selfish and use these girls to further protect humanity that is left. Even if they are a little different. I don't think running around and shooting and abusing the girls that can help save the world is going to make them less dangerous. That might make them oh I don't know...band together and kill your asses. Add in the fact that all the Initiators are girls and the Promoters are all MEN older than them and my eyes can't just stop rolling. Out of my head they go.
 photo blackbulletepisode23_zpsa03d06b0.jpg
Okay so this is horrible thinking. I am not sure if the actual government would treat them better but come on!
But clearly in the 10 years since this war has taken place between the unexplained Gastrea virus people have lost their minds. Case in point Seitenshi. Am I to assume that since the collapse of the world everything is again run by teenagers? Will there be an explanation on why Seitenshi is running the show and not that Gramps person who has raised both Kisara and Rentarou? I thought Cursed Children were 10 years and under. Clearly this government is insane. No one properly protecting the citizens with KNOWN weapons aka the Cursed Children. Oh you want a little girl? Sure here you go. Next! That is how it seems anyway. Since all the pairs were given the choice to opt out of this mission before it started. If they were real soldiers they would have to comply. Of course a real government would probably give details on what the mission actually was instead of vague commands like Kill Gastrea and Get Suitcase. Kill Crites! So yeah....hard to take this show seriously when everyone is running rogue and protecting the citizens for money. That there are literally thousands of these helpful kids everyone and the general public is scared of them. Because being turned into bugs is much more fun. Can you imagine if there were 700,000 X-men mog! Of course all the movies would still be about Wolverine but still.

Best mission ever!
So.....yeah. Rentarou and none of his closest friends arrive to hear this vague mission that Seitenshi gives out. The brief info about Rentarou and Kisara having a connection to Seitenshi is vaguer than how one is allowed/chosen to be a Promoter. Perhaps this mission could have been given out via Skype since none of the Promoters get along and everyone is a hot head. Oh and the fact that no one thought to guard the entrance of this important building with actual Initiators. Or surveillance cameras. Enter Mr. Mask man. He is back already folks. I thought he wait in the shadows as more of the plot was explained but nope. He is the plot folks. What is his name? Hiruko. And he is here to announce that he knows more about the mission than everyone else does and that he is super strong and powerful and his kid/Initiator Kohina is creepy. WOE IS THE WORLD.

Sure let me stop bleeding and I'll get right on that.
Seriously how does this even happen? Oh because instead of focusing on making the Cursed Children an effective weapon or making large DOMES out of Varanium to protect everyone the government decided to make people out of Varanium. Some parts anyway. And then magically lose track of them. So while Promoters haven't been explained yet it is clear that Hiruko is not really one of them. He was experimented on (willing or not) and now he is super magical....like beyond super magical. I like how he came to announce that he is going to find this suitcase/box first instead of just going to do it. Like no, I think I will risk getting myself and my daughter hurt by taking out a lot of Promoters with little to no effort because they are so ill prepared. Yeah that is the ticket. Maybe make things even more untrustworthy in their ranks. Kill some of them so their defenses will be lower. That the mission won't take place at all. TADA here is my evil plan, I got to go now. Only Seitenshi is like....okay ignore the dead people in the room and complete the mission. And no one really cared about the dead people on the ground nor was in mentioned as being a HUGE setback in this episode. Maybe because it was people like Kisara that were killed in this episode? The business OWNERS not the Promoters themselves? I don't know folks. I don't know a lot. Just that this package has some magical Inheritance of the Seven Stars that Hiruko wants and Seitenshi needs destroyed. So clearly it has something to do with how the Gastrea works with humans, probably making everyone like Cursed Children.

The total amount of happy in this episode....
ANYWAY Rentarou was not in a great hurry to find this suitcase or the infection running around the city. No no, he was too busy spending time with Enju at their nearby shopping arcade. See a bunch of people killed, get a head as a present....just brush it off with matching magical girl bands weeee! To be fair Enju is only 10. Granted the world has not been kind to her and people like her but still. I can see Rentarou feeling the need to protect her despite it being futile. It is just very odd that Rentarou really wasn't dwelling on that fact that all these people died. He probably wasn't very close to them as they were rivals but still....lala bracelets and Enju loves Rentarou.

Yeah, get back to protecting us you piece of crap!
That was the one second of good times in this episode. Onward to more sadness. These Cursed Children are supposed to stay in the slum areas of town, probably close to the boarders. You know can't be using this kids as actual ways to protect our society. Best to not give them any opportunities or resources at all. So they can steal and commit other crimes just to survive and make them even more feared. Just so cruel. :( I can understand being a little....weary of the situation but these are kids. Treat them well and they would probably give their lives for you. SAVE YOUR LIFE! It must have been hard for Enju to watch the young girl be taken away but Rentarou did what was best for Enju. Was it always his intent to go back and help the girl? I am sure it was. He just needed a moment. Of course standing up and doing the right thing when the wrong thing is happening is always better than being silent and correcting it later but Rentarou has to think of others. Live to fight another day...and you know protect Enju. Good thing he sent her away when he did because I don't think she needed to see the other girl shot in the head like that. Thank goodness she lived but hot damn. Like episode 2, lets not hold back on how humans have really changed. I wonder if we will see this girl again. Can you have two Initiators per Promoter?

I don't think these girls are destined to be friends....
Before Rentarou can take a breath, you know dead colleagues and nearly dead little girl Rentarou ran into Hiruko and Kohina. I wonder if that is his real daughter or if he is just saying that. I guess he is still human if some of his body parts are made out of metal. Anyway despite Hiruko running around killing a lot of people for an unexplained reason he likes Rentarou. Probably because the boy likes Cursed Children and sees them more like people and not like weapons. Hiruko probably wants this box to help them out, change normal humans into being like this. Rentarou wasn't really impressed with his head for a gift so he turns down the man. Enju and her love for Rentarou kept her close to the scene which is good since Kohina is a little happy with the sharp objects. Enju is a top Initiator despite their low ranking so this means that Kohina is pretty powerful. This little battle ends in a stalemate. Hiruko wants Rentarou to join them but if force doesn't work maybe threatening whatever happiness Rentarou and Enju have might do the trick?

:( Rentarou needs a moment.
After said fight and offer turn down Hiruko went and told people at Enju's school that she is a Cursed Child. Something that she and Rentarou were keeping on the down low. I am going to assume that Cursed Children are not allowed to go to school. Rentarou tries to plead his case but the teacher wasn't very happy with this deceit even if he isn't riding the Cursed Children hate bandwagon. More like this is how the rules are and since this is a school with normal kids well...this is how things are. It was a bit sad that Rentarou ran home, all panicked that Enju wouldn't be at their home. When she ran out saying she was going home Rentarou knew in his little heart she wasn't going to be in THEIR apartment. She doesn't consider that home after a year of him trying to make a family. That there is still a lot left to go in their relationship, aside from the special relationship that Enju wants....

Rentarou is like what you say?!
The episode ends with Rentarou returning to Enju's outer district, where she came from. It looks awful just like I thought it would. All these kids living in poverty. Yay for surviving the war....Rentarou goes looking for Enju and runs into a single adult who can't possibly be taking care of all these kids himself. But he probably is. At the time it looked like the older man was asking Rentarou douchebag questions. Like why don't you pick out another kid, plenty of weapons to choose from. But Rentarou was like I want Enju, my partner, and I am not going to stop until I find her. Turns out the man was saying that for Enju's benefit. She probably ran away thinking she could Rentarou have a normal life. The man was showing Enju that Rentarou really cared. So will Enju return to Rentarou sooner rather than later? Later being something awful happens and she rescues him and all is well for 5 minutes again? Yeah I think that is probably what will happen instead. I will save you Rentarou, thanks for caring about me. Surely it will work out...probably.
