Little Busters! episode 20

Hello there my lovely readers! I was going to try and post 5 episodes last night but I got sidetracked. But I got sidetracked in watching anime. XD So that doesn't make me a slacker right? Just I have a problem focusing on one issue at a time. Special me.
Photobucket
Just had to throw that out there. XD
But here is the episode anyway! Little Busters! episode 2o time. Spoilers for Sasami being a crazy person and annoying.
Photobucket
Don't say the evil one's name!
Episode Summary: All of the Little Busters are in their uniforms practicing on the field. Rin keeps throwing balls (like the opposite of strike) but maintains a good speed. Sasami appears with her posse and demand they be allowed to use the field for their baseball team. Rin doesn't seem to care about the actual sport but can't forgive when Sasami's girls get rough with her cats. Rin and Sasami then have a match determining who can use the field. Since Rin is so fired up about the injured cats she wins although Sasami pretends to have given up. After practice Rin spends time with her cats trying to teach them tricks. Riki goes to talk to Rin but they notice there is a note on one of the cats. It says to help the lovesick heart of a certain classmate. Despite not knowing what the term lovesick means Rin goes to action and finds the boy the note refers to. Hello Aikawa and how are you doing? The boy is shocked that they know his secret but they promise to help him. For some reason Aikawa is okay with that and explains his typical lovesick symptoms and then says he is in love with Sasami. Rin tries to blow up the room with her evil cats. Riki manages to calm down Rin before Aikawa has a heart attack. Rin promises Aikawa she will help him out no matter what and leaves. Riki asks Rin what she has planned later and obviously she doesn't know. Komari skips by and says lets Tea Party Rin. Riki sees that as a good time for the girls to teach Rin about love. So Rin goes along without throwing her usual fit. Unfortunately the girls assume Rin is the one in love thus nothing useful takes place at said tea party.

When was there help?
Rin decides that she must complete this mission, even if it means talking to Sasami. Sasami assumes that Rin is being a jerk and trying to make her into a fool. Rin holds no punches and is like what is your favorite color and boy type and hobbies and underwear preferences. Riki and Rin learn that Sasami likes Kengo. Riki is like this is awful news but Rin presses on. She confronts Kengo who barely knows who Sasami is and doesn't care about her crush. So Rin tells all of this to Aikawa even if Riki thinks it is an awful idea. Aikawa is crushed but Rin thinks that Aikawa just needs to be more like Kengo. So beat up Kengo and all will be solved. That idea falls flat so they focus on their shared hobbies. It turns out they don't share anything so Rin suggests that Aikawa do a hip hop song in front of Sasami to win her attention. Only Aikawa messes up the lyrics and Sasami thinks he is a creep. Amazing. So Rin reinstates the beat up Kengo plan. Riki and Rin are sent to distract Kengo so Aikawa can do the minimum amount of work. Only Kengo turns out to be amazing and Aikawa gets flatten. Sasami walks by and assumes that Aikawa was being a trouble maker again. Aikawa gets very discouraged that these freaks have only made things worse and decides he will be sad forever. Rin then knows what she has to do, since she has never been in love herself. She goes to Sasami herself and explains she was the crazy one, not Aikawa. But a boy does like Sasami and can Rin have Sasami's number to give to said boy. Sasami seems more embarrassed with Rin and her maybe olive branch of friendship. Rin goes back to Aikawa with number in hand and strict instructions to not text Sasami more than once a day and to focus on his school work. Things go back to normal and the Little Busters practice baseball some more. Sasami walks over to Rin and wants advice on what foods Kengo likes. When Rin gives Sasami a liar answer it is war time between the two girls. Ah everything is back to normal. THE END!
Photobucket
Um no one cares about you. Sorry.
That was boring. YAWN! Can I get some caffeine please, I nearly feel asleep with this episode. Of course it is a break from the constant young girl suffer routine...
Photobucket
Cat abuse!!!
Okay maybe that was a little harsh. But I really don't like Sasami. Or maybe I don't know her enough to like her. Her character design looks cheap and her voice is like nails on a chalk board. Of course other girls in this series suffers from that problem too....Still Sasami is just way over the top for me to care about her. Like Haruka but with way less screen time. And anyone who has an posse of people with them at all time gets the side eye from me.
Photobucket
We are practicing woohoo! Go us!
Everyone give the Little Busters a round of applause. They were actually practicing today. At they were working as a group. Sure Rin got most of the attention but it seemed more structured than usual. Why I bet before the series ends in season two they will have at least one game at this rate. Yay for practice.
Photobucket
Get off my lawn!!!
I am not sure why Kanata allowed for the Little Busters to use the field without permission. The actual sports teams need to be able to practice on the fields. And if the teams are no longer in season/session the fields should go unused unless there is permission. So......lets not call people bossy when they are in the right. But we need to leave the innocent kittens out of this mess okay? :( No kitty abuse.
Photobucket
I need more cats!!!
After all of that fast ball and learning a new move Rin was trying to teach her cats a trick. See us crazy cat people call them tricks when really it is just our cats humoring us. They actually think that they are training us. Kira is like oh okay so if I come to the door and greet you like a prairie dog you will scream cute and give me treats. I see now. So that is what Rin was doing right before we got another mission to figure out the secrets of the world. I thought we were going to get more of these missions, like they would be intertwined with the Help Girl Arcs. Guess not on that front.
Photobucket
Love is a disease and there is no cure!!!!
The mission this episode was to help someone suffering from lovesickness. Later Riki and Rin realize they weren't supposed to get the two people together but just help the one sided lover to get over it and heal his heart. But things can't be that easy in anime. XD We got to go the crazy route. However if I were Aikawa I would have thrown those two freaks out of my room. Just coming in there and telling me I am rude when I am just being polite and then bringing up my personal business. Add in the fact Rin brought in ninja kitties and I think Aikawa could have gotten better advice from my Duffy Bear.
Photobucket
Oh and to help your fellow man.
I think Rin was mainly trying to help so they could learn about the secrets of the world, not because she cared about Sasami or this Aikawa dude. But as people from the internets have said Sasami and Rin are actually friends and just suck at showing it. So all of this blushy and song/dance routine was the girls being awkward around each other, not about Aikawa.
Photobucket
Would you like to know the male human being Kengo?
It came out of left field, at least for me, that Sasami liked Kengo. Or that anyone could like Kengo. There was no hints of this potential romance right? Or maybe I am blind. Kengo is such a nonfactor in this show I forget about him all about him. But he was like what romance? I have no time for that. I don't even have time for my friends DUH!
Photobucket
Rin said yes right away? SO HAPPY!
I liked how excited all the girls were when Rin went to their tea party. Usually they have to drag her kicking and screaming to the fun but this time she came willingly. Of course Rin did use the tea party or at least tried to use the party to get useful information out of the girls but since Rin is bad at communicating with humans her intentions were misinterpreted and now the girls think Rin is in love. Oh those Little Busters!
Photobucket
Um I think you should protest....
Most of Rin's ideas were very bad. Now I realize that if Masato had been the one to say these ideas he would be called a moron. But if Rin does it is is cute. I think there is a lot more to Masato than stupid jokes, that he is truly the closest to Riki and tries his best. But back to Rin and Riki spending time together. Beating up Kengo is a great idea? Singing a crazy song to Sasami will help Aikawa out? Oh those crazy kids.
Photobucket
Wait there is a boy involved?
It was pretty obvious that Rin was an awful choice to help with any love problem. But despite how misguided she was she really tried to help. Aikawa didn't do much to help Rin out either. Maybe the problem could have been solved easier if Rin found him a different love interest? But in the end she talked to Sasami which was probably Kyousuke's...I mean the note leavers intentions. Not so much helping out this random Aikawa but to help Sasami and Rin become friends. We really don't know why they are enemies anyway do we?
Photobucket
Yay friendships between women!!!
So in the end Aikawa probably isn't going to get Sasami as she asks about Kengo's food choices. Sasami and Rin are still going at it. And as Mio pointed out matter of fact the only real romance going on is between Riki and Kyousuke. But maybe Aikawa has a glimmer of hope and maybe he will see that Sasami is crazy and move on. Rin and Sasami can be friends and still fight all the time. So alls well that ends well? See ya next week!

Shin Sekai Yori episode 21: And the suck keeps on rolling in

See? Told you I was busy today. Three episodes in an hour go me! At this time I would usually reward myself with ice cream but I already did that...twice today. XO Best stay away for any more of that, especially since I need to start saving money.
Photobucket
Saki's eyes got a lot of attention this episode.
While Kira tries to distract me from my anime posting here is another episode! Shin Sekai Yori episode 21 woohoo! Spoilers for more people dying and things getting worse!
Photobucket
And where is everyone supposed to hide anyway?
Episode Summary: Saki and Granny's Aid continue to try to escape from the town despite feeling guilty about leaving Granny behind. They see other people in the streets and Saki wants to warn them that they have to run. She wants to reach Shisei but suddenly he appears in the sky sporting a new look and using the clouds as messages. He tells everyone he goes this and lands on the ground. The second he does it collapses under his feet. Saki just looks on in horror as the Aid Niimi tries to get Saki to leave. Shisei reappears having rescued some of the villagers but is pissed he couldn't save them all. The QueerRats have dug passageways under the village and start to attack. Shisei takes them out straight away but the Fiend appears. People start turning into little splats as Shisei is like this can't be happening. Satoru appears out of nowhere and is like we need to run, Shisei can't defeat a Fiend. They stay long enough to see Shisei try a few more things but is eventually killed by the Fiend. People are splatted everywhere but Satoru, Saki, and Niimi escape in the QueerRat tunnels. They find a semi conscious QueerRat so Satoru uses his amazing integration skills to talk the creature. Saki is shocked to learn that the QueerRats aren't happy with being their slaves and that they would rebel. The QueerRat says their leader Yakomaru and their messiah will free their whole race. They end up killing the QueerRat by suicide and they continue on their way.
Photobucket
A long 24 hours folks.
Niimi insists Saki and Satoru go to the temple as he must try and warn as many people as possible. Saki and Satoru continue on until they hear Lord of the Rings going home music and a warning that a Fiend has appeared. But for some reason Saki knows that Niimi has been killed. They continue on until they reach the temple. They tell those there what has happened and Saki demands to see her parents. She learns they went back to the village to let out the Crazy Cats but left Saki something. They wait for this gift and are reunited with Inui who was sent to kill Yakomaru and his QueerRats. Inui explains that they were unable to find the QueerRats for days but eventually did. They started to kill them bit by bit but a human child came out of the secret entrance. 4 members of his party go to see what is wrong with the kid but OPPIES it was the Fiend. Inui is forced to hide the remaining days before the attack as the QueerRats know humans work in groups of 5. By the time he was able to escape the nearest village was empty because they went to the festival. He figures there would still be people at the hospital taking care of kids and the injured. When he gets there he finds all the adults dead and the babies stolen. Saki and Satoru put everything together based on events that happened years ago. Babies are spoils of war and human babies can grow up to be Fiends if left unchecked. So while Yakomaru and his army might have to wait a while for victory with Maria's kid now they have several kids. Older Adult Saki voice overs that if Yakomaru waits about 10 years he will have an army of Fiend kids and can basically take over the world and save all the QueerRats. THE END!
Photobucket
Are you slow or something?
HMMM folks. I guess there will be enough material to cover the end of the series as they are going slow as dirt to get through this ultimate carnage. The only person who is guaranteed to survive is Saki and her 40 year old self. Everyone else is fair game. Although the way she talks in the future humans are going to make it and rebuild. Just a question of many.
Photobucket
There is clearly enough blame to go around for everyone.
I still am pissed though that adult Saki blames Maria for this all. I know I bring this up a lot, ever since episode 2 when adult Saki voiced over that many people would have survived had Maria not been brought into this world. Last time I checked Maria loved Saki and just felt really bad for Mamoru. Mamoru loved Maria. So I am sure the baby resulted in from comfort sex. I say that because I am sure the QueerRats were watching the couple the entire time they were in the wild. Without the town to keep things in check I am sure Maria got pregnant fast and when the baby popped out Maria and Mamoru were killed. So how is any of this Maria's fault? Mamoru was the one targeted for death, the town taught her about comfort sex, and the QueerRats used the situation to their advantage to raise the kid. So thanks for blaming Maria for everything.
Photobucket
Um...time to run.
But first things first. How much worse can things get for everyone in the village? Their last defense against...well anything was Shisei and looked how fast he got taken out. I really thought he was going to last longer than he did. Once he accepted that there was a Fiend around I thought he was going to grit his teeth and manage to hold off the Fiend for....well at least a few minutes. Not a few attacks. Of course it would have been nice had Shisei been able to defeat the Fiend. Find a way to take him out like the doctor did. But then he went out in 5 seconds and all the people in the immediate area had no chance.
Photobucket
How about kill all the human adults?
Which is the entire point of the series I suppose. That humans suck and that maybe when that event started in Tokyo in the current not so far away future we should have just been taken out. So much awful has happened and along the way killing kids and enslaving creatures changed by leaking powers was the bright alternative. Humans were so guarded watching their uncooked eggs (kids) that they failed to realize there was too many QueerRats. That the threat of these creatures should not be underestimated. Yet one QueerRat was able to band everyone together and get squid monsters and dig tunnels and all this other crap. All under the humans' noses.
Photobucket
Saki still thinks humans were in the right?
As intelligent as Saki is I don't know why she wasn't getting it. When the injured QueerRat was talking about the rebellion she really didn't get it. Why the QueerRats would rebel. Just because a species doesn't look human doesn't mean they aren't intelligent. Yes their powers probably created the QueerRats but they are here now and the humans used them as a workforce. Do our dirty work. I would think anything capable of speech and free though would eventually rebel against such conditions. Yet this was beyond Saki to understand. I am sure she just thinks of them as the enemy. Now I think that QueerRats would be a good way to kill Fiends as a backup plan but there was no reason for them to have such high numbers. Keep a family or two around as Granny's friends and call it a day. But NOOOO lets just mess everything up in splendid ways.
Photobucket
Um...I guess you're dead?
I am sorry, the going home music sounds just like Lord of the Rings. Come with me Sam, we will take the ring together. So while this was a sad moment and apparently signified the death of Niimi. Saki and Satoru walking around and seeing how life has drastically changed. While the village was always ugly on the inside now the horrors were happening out in the open. Almost too much to bear for Saki.
Photobucket
Um....you all know some shit just went down right?
They make their way to the Temple where they find is Fiend free. Maybe if the humans hadn't kept life so super simple as a way of protection they could have gotten the word out via phone. For some reason the people at the temple weren't that much in a panic. It was kinda odd. Even when they told Saki that her parents basically went off to die to try and stop the Fiend there wasn't much sadness. Just...so many people have died in a 24 hour period time maybe they were just numb. Or they were going crazy and knew the end was near so why bother.
Photobucket
Um probably not.
Inui's explanation of what happened on his journey just cements how underestimated the QueerRats were and how clueless humans really were. I mean....if I was tracking down some evil group of monsters that killed an entire army under strange circumstances...I would not approach a strange looking child. And if I did I wouldn't do so with most of the group. Like two of you go see what's up, we will all stay here. So yeah it makes sense why Inui took so long to return and couldn't warn the others. Perhaps part of the meeting should have been taken more seriously, that a human killed the other QueerRat army.
Photobucket
Saki has had to deal with a lot in the past 24 hours. But now she knows for certain her two friends are dead...
The more Inui talked the more things got put together in Saki's head. Yeah she still blames Maria but things started to make sense. I found it odd that Satoru and Saki weren't seen on screen talking about Mari and Mamoru but both just KNEW it was Maria's kid. Just knew. And were able to say it with such....matter of factness. Maybe they were numb too. I would like to know when the bones of Maria and Mamoru were delivered to Granny. It must not have been that long after they escaped as that would look suspicious to the adult humans. Like when Saki and Satoru left to plead their case Maria had to sexy time Mamoru to calm him down and poof was pregnant. Maybe the QueerRats hid them for the 9 months and killed them the second the kid came out. I can see Granny accepting bones a year later, that maybe snow covered them up or what not. I think this just shows how.....far in advanced Yakomaru planned things.
Photobucket
Those little marks near the entrance are the humans being turned into squishes.
He did get lucky though. Maybe his plan was to NOT kill a kid when the council told him too. There was no way he could plan for Maria and Mamoru to have a kid. Nor do I understand how all those kids that were kidnapped will all be Fiends. I mean I know humans now are conditioned to not kill each other but not all are capable of becoming problems. So I am not sure why there is an assumption that all of those babies stolen will automatically become Fiends. They will have a greater potential and all will be able to kill humans without being killed themselves. Does that make sense? Maybe I am missing something.
Photobucket
This is so effed up!
Still it might not matter. Maybe one Fiend will be enough. Look what one Fiend has already done. Call the rest of the QueerRats together and the human race might be toast. A New World? It doesn't look like something worth fighting for. So much suffering and pain. And it's not even over yet. Will they be able to use their secret weapon Kiroumaru to stop the Fiend? Will there be enough humans to start over? Guess we will find out next episode.

Maoyuu Maou Yuusha episode 7

Today has been a super productive day I think. Lots of anime watched and blogged. I might have also made a Duffy/Shellie May wish list for when we go to Japan next year. Needless to say I need to start saving, saving, saving. And buy a bigger house for all this stuff.
Photobucket
Oh was I interrupting something?
But for now it's anime time!!! XD Up now is Maoyuu Maou Yuusha episode 7 time. Spoilers for parties and Demon King forms.
Photobucket
How can I be blamed for this?!
Episode Summary: Youth Maid writes in her journal and thinks to herself as a way to catch the audience up on things. After winning back Bright Light Island things have vastly changed for the better in the territory the Winter King owns. He is really working to educate himself on matters and clean up corruption. This has all trickled down to happy people working hard and joining the military and harvesting crops. Hero and Demon King are having a great time together even if Knight keeps finding reasons to interrupt them. Hero and Knight take time later to spare and train a bit which works out for both of them, having worthy opponents. They takes some time to wash off as Demon King's invention of the pump makes gathering water easy. Hero was talking about how awesome the girls were with their talents and what not but the conversation gets a bit iffy when Knight wants to be the mistress and decides tops are for losers. Hero goes inside all confused when Kid Maid hands him a drink as she has just invented soda. Amazing. She runs off all happy and Demon King puts her serious face on as Hero has to go back to Gateway City to attend a festival and make sure things are on the up and up. Demon King is a bit jealous because certain demons keep hitting on him. But he must attend anyway....without his hat covering his head? He tries to escape with his new friend Eastern Fortress General but is still found by the Fire Dragon girl who thinks Hero is her husband.
Photobucket
Um who are you?
Everyone laughs at these antics until an earthquake hits. It is felt even where Demon King and the others are and they (Head Maid and Demon King) realize what this Earthquake means. When Hero returns from his festival Demon King takes him and Youth Maid to one of her many factories to show them what she is working on next. Education is going to save this country and to do that they need something to help with the teaching process. Enter the printing press! But why is Youth Maid invited to this? Later that night Knight catches Demon King trying to sneak into Hero's room. The thing is Knight was going to sneak in there too. They fight over who gets to spend the night with Hero when Head Maid throws them both in there. Hero is like what the hell is this why the two girls negotiate who gets to spend time with him. Eventually the girls decided to sleep on either side of the man but proceed to talk to each other. Demon King talks about how she has to go back to the Demon Realm to get her Demon King license renewed and to make sure everyone stays on the straight and narrow. Knight promises to guard Hero with her life and Hero is like hello I am in a bed with two women and my penis gets no attention. Demon King gets ready to leave on her journey soon after and tells Youth Maid to take her place via magic ring. Hero and Demon King shake hands because DUH they aren't really together yet and off she goes. Elsewhere the Crusader Commander dude that bailed on Gateway City is getting screamed at by a lot of people. They do not take kindly to people who run away when things get tough and they aren't buying the fact that he came at the last minute to help the Winter King. They decide he is a coward and cowards need to die. While he is awaiting death White King rescues the Commander and they proceed to get drunk and blame their problems on other people. They decided this is all Winter King's fault so they need to kill him. Okay. THE END!
Photobucket
You can barely see Hero though poof!
Chug chug chug. We are watching the world become what it is today one invention at the time. Over bodies we step but progress is being made folks. I can see the future!
Photobucket
Let me update you on what has been going on in our lives.
I like how Youth Maid was writing in her diary and we the viewers were updated on what is going on. Like lala so much time is passing in the show we must get these updates. Oh about 6 months have passed. A year has passed. Since the first episode 2 years have passed. X___X That is a long time folks. That is two whole seasons of The Walking Dead. That is Two Christmases and Two Halloweens and Two sets of birthdays. So yes Youth Maid needs to update us and tells how life has been awesome recently and that her sister doesn't plan on growing ever.
Photobucket
That underwear looks very useful for battle.
I love how Knight is not going to back down from stealing Hero from Demon King. Not that much stealing needs to happen as the two have not kissed at all. And from Knight's standpoint she was the one trying to get him all along and suddenly this big boobed woman with a pocket full of miracles and corn shows up and she is yesterday's news. So she needs to run around and show off her skills, that being his real sparing partner. And if things turned into a sexy car wash so be it. Fan service fans were like what about US so the show had to deliver on it I guess. Either way girl is a nun, a knight, and a love interest. So many different hats.
Photobucket
Maybe Demon King should create medicine for the flu before soda? Just saying.
Soda. Soda folks. Instead of inventing indoor bathrooms we got soda. For some reason this invention is being credited to Child Maid. Because springs of carbonation water are all over the place. I know this to be true because anime tells me so. I am sure Demon King was like since I am so awesome at everything I will allow someone else to create something. Here let me throw you a happy bone kid who hasn't grown in two years. Should have made Code Red instead.
Photobucket
Looks rather weird without that helmet on.
Is there a reason why Hero is running around without his helmet on? I know that some demons look human like and maybe they still think he himself is a demon. But then why bother with the helmet? Just to scare the soldiers that were there prior? Or does everyone know he is really human now? I guess that really wasn't the point to this part of the show, just that Hero is very delicious looking to many people and that a small corner of the world it's okay for demons and humans to be friends.
Photobucket
Hurry and fill out that license!
Demon King license. That is all I have to say about that part of the episode folks. License.
Photobucket
You are my trusted second banana.
I would never have guessed that Demon King invented the printing press. Are the writers of this show just going through history and taking the best of human inventions and crediting Demon King with their discovery. So Demon King has also invented the wheel, television, and Facebook. I thought it was a bit odd that she took along Youth Maid. At first I thought it was just going to be an extension of the conversation in episode 6. War what is it good for. All that education and people who are uneducated don't know they need it. But then it turns out that Demon King has been grooming Youth Maid to take over for her, to be her second right hand. A lot of responsibility for a young lady yes?
Photobucket
Can I just point out it was rather late for a tea party?
The two girls fighting over Hero is amusing. Maybe because these woman are much better than Hero (and Hero acknowledges it) yet they are acting like silly school girls when it comes to him. You are going to have a tea party with just a pillow? Oh what about you with your skanky sleepwear? How about we sleep in shifts and take turns not having sex with him? Sounds like a plan to me.
Photobucket
Do you two need a room to yourselves? I'm just saying....
That is what it felt like to me. The goodbye between Hero and Demon King didn't feel as sad as the goodbye between Demon King and Knight. Like I have to leave? Oh you have to leave my rival? I will miss you and protect Hero for you. Not sleep with him mind you but pretend like we are making more memories but deep down we love each other more than him. That kinda thing. Amusing but Hero probably was more like please can I get some sleep up in this bed?
Photobucket
That's a sexy pump.
And that is how things ended. Hero returns but Demon King leaves to take her test at the DMV. Knight is going to protect Hero but only make moves in front of Demon King. And some kid they picked off the streets has to pretend to be Demon King. Which will probably be hard to do since those two losers left over from the battle of Bright Light Island want to kill Winter Prince. What is up with those idiots? Are they that in denial they can blame other people for their obvious mistakes? Guess we will find out next time.

Maoyuu Maou Yuusha episode 6

Sorry for my absence yesterday on the internets. I try to get a lot of things done on Sunday but some news about a family member sorta threw me for a loop. Due to geographic distances we aren't very close family members but still you want people you are related to not to suffer. Thankfully everyone is okay but still....just a sad situation. Some prayers and kind thoughts my aunt's way would be appreciated though.
Photobucket
I don't think there are words for this?
The show must go on though. Just glad everyone is okay. Up now is Maoyuu Maou Yuusha episode 6. Spoilers for salt and soda!
Photobucket
Interesting looking curse.....
Episode Summary: Hero and Demon King set off to work on their respective goals. While the Demon King gets ready Youth Maid talks to her, asking War, what is it good for? Apparently she read my post last week (or a few days ago). Demon King explains that war happens when two individuals meet and there is conflict. But that is not the only thing that can result from meeting new people, just one possibility. Still Youth Maid is sad. Hero is having a heck of a time scaring all the Crusaders in Gateway City. He doesn't really kill anyone but uses fairies to plant illusions and nightmares in their heads. Elsewhere Knight has arrived to help the newly crowded Winter King (formerly Winter Prince) which boosts morale a bit. However it is frozen wasteland they are waiting on, looking at an equally frozen island fortress. Things start looking up once Demon King/Crimson Scholar arrives. Instead of her Mary Poppins bag she pulls out 6 carts full of salt. Together she and all the troops come up with a plan to hack up the icy coast and then reassemble it into a bridge. TADA they no longer have to get in boats to reach the fortress. All that Demon King asks for is one day's time, mostly to let the demons retreat if at all possible. The demons don't take kindly to this advance and fighting occurs. Water demons come out of nowhere but Knight has a pretty solid plan. They manage to hold off the troops but the caves at the foot of the fortress make it almost impossible to breach. Plus there is the head demon in the fortress to worry about.
Photobucket
If you can get him to stay in one place.
Demon King doesn't seem that worried and POOF Hero appears. Knight greets him warmly which pisses off Demon King. Before Old Man can do his greetings Hero explains he has brought all the Holy Crusaders with him. Turns out that as his “demon” self Hero scared the men so bad they decided to flee Gateway City. Well in reality they were just going to run away but their commander was stopped on the way out and this is the excuse he came up with. The man left in charge of Gateway City knows all the support human leftover will be hurt by demons if they try to maintain control of the city. Thus he decides to make it a neutral area thus Hero has fulfilled his part of the plan. With these new troops coming from from the opposite direction the humans winning back Bright Light island seems obvious. Still the big demon lord needs to be defeated so off Knight goes to show off her skill. The two battle it out with swords and wits but eventually Knight wins. They clean up the rest of the island and Winter King declares it for his kingdom. There is a huge celebration where Demon King and Knight are given special recognition. Hero watches the party from high above but Old Man joins him. Old Man talks about how strong Hero is and how that has separated him from humanity at times. But maybe now this new country Hero can stick around? It is hard to tell though as both Hero and Demon King feel heavy at the lives lost in this battle. THE END!
Photobucket
When don't you have a plan?
This anime is chugging right along. Plant food here, fight a battle here. Such is the life before the internets and The Walking Dead.

She has learned a lot, this young girl. Yay progress! The point of the show after all.
When Youth Maid started talking about war and suchies I wondered to myself if this conversation would have been more powerful if Child Maid had been talking to Demon King. A child would ask that of an adult, why do big people fight all the time. And they would not understand what Demon King was saying and continue to ask the same question over and over again.

Taking complicated matters and making them sound so simple.
But then I thought about it and decided that Youth Maid would be the perfect person to ask such a question. She is old enough to understand what is being said yet didn't want to process or accept that as truth. Like no it must be more complicated why people fight all the time and hate/hurt each other. There must be some awful reason for this all to be happened. Yet Demon King's simple explanation of different people meeting for the first time and not meshing is...well really simple but probably true. I don't know you, you are way too different, and because I can't relate to you I think of you as less than human thus I can take what you have. Sad indeed.

Needs more ugly?
Somewhere else Hero has made some new friends. Where do the fairies fall in terms of humans or demons? Are they still considered demons or are they some subtype of mythical creatures? I think I liked it better when they looked like demons and were floating heads. I thought Hero was running around and killing the humans but it turns out he was just scaring them. I guess that part came later in the episode, that the results of his actions did cause human deaths. But by his hands it looks like Hero came out of this blood free which makes his plan smart yes?

Did I say warm....?
Demon King had a warm greeting when she arrived at such a cold place. Considering all the (understandable) complaining that was taking place before she arrived I thought it would be a little icy when she arrived. But maybe that would have happened if she went over the main troops. She did appear in front of the Winter King whom has benefited from her crop idea, Knight whom is like WOOHOO female friend, and Old Man who is a fan of boobies. So yay for women in war situations.

Well at least they didn't throw the salt in people's eyes?
Their idea....to take ice chunks and glue them together with salt....I was like what the hell? Who thought of this crazy idea?! Is Demon King really from the future and has googled all these ideas? Like lala sit on a glacier, chop it off, and glue it back together. I am sure some of the men were like what the hell too when their first explained this very off the wall idea. But in the end it worked so that is all that mattered.

Where is Legalos?
Maybe it is just my inner dork but I was like LORD OF THE RINGS during all these tactic meetings and skirmishes. My movies of choice are horror/disaster movies so I am not all about the war movies and flanks and what not. So while it wasn't too hard to follow what they were saying it was a bit boring in my head until I pretended there was Legalos on the screen. I do wonder why there weren't more water demons though. They should have just broke the ice bridge! Problem solved folks.

Oh by the way I'm alive?
When Hero showed up it was an OHHHH moment. I just assumed that Hero and Demon King were working separately for different goals. Maybe when Demon King heard Hero say he wanted to liberate Gateway City she realized she could kill two birds with one stone. No way she would go into this plan with just some salt and a prayer. That being said they do have the flair for the dramatics right? Release the secret weapon at the last second!

PSHT! I should be the hero!
I thought that Hero was going to be the one to take out Mr. Walrus. He hasn't seen action in a long time. But I guess Knight needed to come in and show what she was made off. She can't just sit in a tent and send others off to die you know? How come strong opponents always trade clever comments with each other while fighting? Whatever happened to EFF YOU and slashing your enemy to pieces? Appreciating strong people indeed.

You guys did try your best. :(
After all is said and done Hero and Demon King weren't too happy with the results. Things ended the way they wanted but there were many losses on both sides. I think that Demon King was pretending that things could work out without people/demons dying but in reality that is not possible. So while everyone was cheering on the battlefield they had a heavy burden on their hearts and only had each other to cling to.

Was that mentioned before?
After all that sad though Knight and Demon King were given titles at the party thrown by Winter King. This one goes out to you dad. Hero watched from the shadows as he has to be really hush hush on just how this was all his great idea. Old Man showed up and tried to add layers to Hero being the best person ever. This was the first I had ever heard of Hero having super strength and not being able to connect to humans well. How interesting this is being said for the first time. But I guess it was a nice moment, Old Man and Hero bonding.

XO Knight looks so cute, did I mention that?!
So is that about it? Demon King wasn't too happy with Knight giving Hero such a warm welcome, Hero apparently has issues with his own humanity, and both goals were met. What is next up for the plan to save the world? Hopefully it is indoor bathrooms. XD I kid I kid.
