Pandora Hearts Episode 4

It's Monday and that means it's time for the Pandora Heart blog post! I promised myself I wasn't going to be a lazy blogger today and I kept my word. Because Oz is so big, bad, and scary I was afraid not to. XD

Photobucket

Oz is not amused!

But yeah. While watching the specialness that is Heroes I blogged this happy little episode. And it is a little hard to write about something that is meant to be confusing while watching a show that is the definition of special. So I think I will stick to watching soaps and blogging anime. Much easier to multitask that way.

So as always, there are spoilers in this post. So beware and don't complain that I ruined episode 4 for you. XD Enjoy.

Photobucket

Quick, pretend you don't care about Oz!

Oz is dreaming of a younger Gilbert and his happy face. He wakes up and the older Gilbert is standing there. Oz looks confused and apparently doesn’t recognize him. Oz freaks out when he sees Sharon and attempts to run out of the room. He is briefly calmed when Break tells Oz that this is the real world now and that he should sit down and eat some cake. Oz seems to SHOCK Sharon, Gilbert, and Break when he reveals that the Abyss is real. While they eat cake Oz explains how horrible the Abyss was for the ten minutes he was there. He goes on to explain that Alice helped him escaped and that she is connected to him by the pocket watch he found. Break points out that since Oz made a contract with Chain that person is breaking the law and Oz is now under arrest. Oz is deprived of his cake as Break explains all three of them are a part of an organization called Pandora. They are a group that studies the Abyss and they have made it illegal for humans to make contracts with Chains. Oz is a little shocked and Sharon throws a mini fit but soon Oz has his hands tied and they make their way downstairs. Alice takes over Oz’s body and manages to escape three feet away. Break activates a binding spell on the floor and freezes Oz’s body. Then he uses his walking stick of power to separate Alice and Oz.

Photobucket

I want a stick of power!

Break taunts Alice when he learns her real name and the fact that her powers are sealed now. Alice explains that she is only in this world to find her memories that have been scattered around. She said she woke up in the Abyss with no memories except the name Alice and the tune from the pocket watch. Break decides the thought of a Chain having memories is laughable and beats her with his cane. Oz takes the hit for her and says that he will protect the one who saved him from the Abyss. Oz says that he will not work with them and that will hurt them in the end as they have implied they need them for their little group. Break then makes a silly face and says that he was only PLAYING with them. No one is amused. Break says it is time for cake….but the pocket watch on the floor opens up a pathway to the Abyss. A scary looking hedgehog porcupine monster comes out. It runs around the room trying to escape and the crew worries that it will make it outside and will find its own contractor. They realize that they need Alice’s full powers to stop the crazy animal and “Raven” is somehow able to unlock Oz’s power. Alice transforms and takes delight in tearing up the beast. The watch falls to the ground and both Oz and Alice reach for it. When they touch it at the same time it glows and shows everyone the memory of Alice trying to strange Oz in that doll house. While everyone experiences that memory Oz is approached by a strange man who lurks in the shadows. The man tells Oz that if he helps Alice find all her memories he will find the answers he seeks as well.

Photobucket

Um...yeah. No.

Oz wakes up to Alice crying. She is overwhelmed at the fact she just gone one of her memories back and can’t stop crying. Sharon and Break now think that Alice is the key they have been looking for. But a little while later Alice has recovered from her tears and is demanding to know what is going to happen to her and Oz. She recognizes that they are completely at their mercy. Break explains that he wants them to join Pandora and help investigate the Baskerville (the robed men). They want to know why the robed men wanted Oz so very badly and that Alice’s memories are where tunnels to the Abyss appear. Both are very valuable. Oz is told that he can’t go back to his old life anyway as everyone thinks he is dead. Sharon won’t answer why they are after Baskerville but promises them it is important. Before they answer the sun comes up and Alice and Oz run outside to appreciate its beauty. They both decide to help out Pandora to seek out what they really want. Gilbert watches the sparkly pair as the sun rises. THE END!

Photobucket

Is Gilbert jealous?...No, that is too much of a yaoi stretch for me.

This episode wasn’t as amazing as the last couple but that is okay. Not every single episode can be awesome or Earth shattering. Just as long as this doesn’t become a pattern and every week the plot slows more and more down. Keep me on my toes please.

Photobucket

But apparently sunrises are always amazing.

With that said it wasn’t completely boring. It wasn’t really boring at all. Not a lot happened but sometimes breather episodes are necessary. Sometimes within these episodes small pieces of information are released and it is easier to pick up on that kind of information when there aren’t crazy dolls chasing after people.

Photobucket

Break will make it amazing!

I think the piece of information that was will be important for weeks to come is Alice breaking down in front of Oz and acting like a cute innocent girl. Even if it was only for a brief moment she was just sad girl who wanted to be saved. And I think that is more true to her real personality. I am sure whatever she is... she is a sarcastic little creature but deep down she is just a lost girl who wants to be cared for. Or at least that is what I will tell myself.

Photobucket

MOG Alice needs a hug so bad!

I was a little surprised that Alice’s past (or weirded memory) was shown to the other three individuals. I thought it was going to be a random flashback that Oz was going to think about throughout the series. I am not sure why it would matter if they know about the attempted straggling of Oz in some weird doll house. Maybe later it will make more sense on why they are concerned about her missing memories but I don’t see why they would care.

Photobucket

SHOO! These memories are not for you!

Alice’s memories being on the openings to the Abyss makes no sense but I am sure it will be okay. So I might accept it for now. It just comes off as very random and almost Tsubasa like. And Tsubasa was quite confusing at times. So while it might be wtf and out of left field it might make sense in the end. But yeah…didn’t see that one coming. Makes me wonder if Alice was the very first chain or her existence helped created the Abyss.

Photobucket

Random guy in the corner didn't make sense either though.

:( It makes me a little sad that Gilbert is not coming out and saying who he is to Oz. I don’t see the point in lying to him as he can see that Elizabeth has grown up (or does he not know she has grown up?). I was expecting some dramatic reuniting moment or at least a WTF face. But no, say hello to Raven. Bleh.

Photobucket

Aw, talk to him please. :(

Sharon is a little annoying to me. She is way too passive and oh, isn’t this grand. Not really standing out to me or voicing her opinions very loudly. The way she is being cryptic with her words is slightly annoying too. I rather her not say anything than her actual say it but it be a cut away scene.

Photobucket

And yet she smiles....

Break is a special kind of person. I will just ignore the doll on his shoulder (that looks a lot like a Chain) for now and just focus on his specialness. I think that he might be a chain as well so I am not sure where his major attitude is coming from. And it was sad watching Alice get beat with a stick when clearly she is stronger than he is. He seems to be rather annoying and if I was Gilbert I would just there and shake my head the entire episode too.

Photobucket

I think Oz really thinks of him as friendly.

This Pandora organization sounds special. In most animes there are secret organizations that know about a massive secret the rest of the world doesn’t know. And it is always convenient that the main character meets up with members of this organization. Because the main character is every anime series is the key to understanding the massive secret said organization. It is o so special. But apparently we are supposed to trust this special organization and not the robed people.

Photobucket

Alice is ready to join them though!

We really didn’t learn much this episode except Alice and Oz are very important to multiple groups and are likely to cause havoc if they are left unchecked. From the sounds of this episode the series is going to focus more on getting rid of Chains that have escaped into our world and SLOWLY talk about Alice’s past and what Oz’s sin is.

Photobucket

Well, we also learned that Gilbert's hat is ugly.

And in a way that is fine. I mean, if we got the answers right away this would be a really short series. I am just happy that they are no longer sharing a body. Of course we do have that pesky Chrono Crusade type of pact that might end up killing Oz. Hopefully that will not be the case and everyone can live happily ever after. Except for that creepy doll on Break’s arm. It can die.

Slacker Post

Yes I have caught the blogger slacker bug. And the sad thing is I am not even in school so I don't have exams or reports to blame it on. I am just plain lazy.

But life has been a bit hectic lately and I do need to manage my time better. The hours seem to fly by when I just randomly lurk on the internet. Suddenly it is was past the time I meant to go to bed and nothing got blogged. :( Truly I am lazy.

With that said I am going to try my hardest to blog Pandora Hearts tomorrow and stop my lazy streak. I really wanted to blog Eden of the East episode 3 but things got crazy. Below I will give the cliff note version of this episode so it is not truly forgotten and I can redeem my slackerness slightly.

I did watch Eden of the East Episode 3. And it was pretty good. But as much as I love this series I don't see me catching up and blogging about it this week. Next week I will try my hardest to get back on track and give this series the attention it deserves. But here are a few random thoughts on the show.

Akira and Saki make such a cute little pair. It is sad that Saki left thinking that Akira ditched her but I am sure that can be smoothed out. She doesn't appear to be an unreasonable girl and might be quite forgiving. That and who wouldn't want a guy with an adorable dog like that?!

The more we learn about Akira the more I want to know. Like why would holding 20k people in a building really save the country? Is he really trying to focus all the hatred on him to save the world? If so it is sad because as interesting as this concept sounds it is too soon after The Watchmen.

I guess Kondo is not going to be killing Akira in these series. I am not sad that he got offed but it worries be that Akira will be taken out in a similar manner. I am glad that the game wasn't explained all the way but just explained enough to keep us interested. Also, it puts a major downside to having that much money.

The entire movie memories part is very interesting. Akira requested a memory wipe but he still has movie memories. Why would it be significant for him to make sure he remembered movies after he forgot everything else in his life? Did he leave some movie quotes around to jog his memory and remember his true purpose in life? Whatever it may be it is very interesting.

AND THE DOG WAS CUTE! Seriously I am not really a dog person and that little puppy had me squealing. Much love.

Okay...so that is my lame post. :( This episode was really good though so watch it for yourself. Enjoy the cuteness that is the puppy and fear the wrath of the cheated on spouse!

07-Ghost Episode 3 Summary and Review

Ah Wednesday. Short day at work, plenty of trashy reality shows on TV, and 07-Ghost was subbed today. Life is good.

Obviously Asura Cryin' got pushed back a day because I am in love with 07-Ghost. Hopefully I will catch up on Asura Cryin' tomorrow but we will see. Usually when I make plans they go flying out the window and are hit by a semi truck.

Enjoy this episode review and watch this awesome series. There is more than eye candy I promise(but the eye candy is very, very nice XD)! Click the read more link to be taken to a magical world of hot boys and eyeball soup!

07-Ghost: Where nuns are super strong and randomly carry beds on their back.

Teito is holding his beautiful flower and looking a little sad. Frau and Castor run into the special nuns who want to fawn over Teito but can’t find him. It is last call at the church and the faithful flock is ushered outside. Teito tries to join in this line but Frau catches him. Frau claims he is worried that Teito hasn’t eaten yet as Teito tries to make a break for it again. Frau ends up carrying him and Castor puts a flower in Teito’s hair. It is lovely. Frau very careful carries Teito to the dining hall and puts him on down with the utmost care. Teito is grossed out to find out they are having eyes for dinner. Apparently they are a special type of fish…but it is still gross to look at. With a little taunting from Frau he finally eats the grossness and finds it acceptable. The nuns try to get Teito to open up but Teito ends up killing the warm fuzzy moment. He feels guilty about having all these wonderful people around him. Oh and he promises Frau he will grow nice and big. Elsewhere Ayanami and his men are getting yelled at about losing Teito but they don’t really seem to care. Top officials are talking about how important Teito is and how he is a candidate for the Eye of Mikhael. Ayanami decides that he is going to go have more fun with Mikage. He tells Mikage to either give up information on Teito or his lovely sister suffers.

Photobucket

MMM pet names.

After being tortured by the sisters Teito decides he is going to help with the cleaning. While mopping the floor Teito thinks back to how he meets Mikage and how Mikage has always had his back. An older man walks by and Teito stops to talk to him. The man has recently lost his wife and feels lost in life. Teito spills his guts about how he doesn’t remember his past and that he couldn’t protect his dear friend. The old man says that there is a way for Teito to have his wish granted by HIM if he waits until midnight in the courtyard. Apparently Teito does not see the old man's eyes of doom. Teito decides that he is going to leave the church. As he is walking to the gate Frau stops him (and Castor lurks in the shadows). Teito tries to attack Frau with his word attack but Frau avoids them easily. Labrador joins the group and he and Castor talk about how Frau and Teito get along so well. Teito tries to attack Frau again but misses and Frau takes him out in one punch. Teito wakes up later having experienced a nightmare about Mikage. He leaves his bedroom while all the priests are seen doing other important things and the clock strikes midnight. Teito waits where he is supposed to and the old man shuffles down the hallway. THE END!

Photobucket

It was only a love tap!

Another lovely episode for me to blog about. Sure there were not any NEW bishounen introduced in this episode but that is okay. We still have all of Ayanami’s crew to get to know so it is not a total loss. And I think we are still going strong on the hot boy yummy train. XD

Let’s talk about Ayanami and his people first since I hate him and Teito is more interesting. Ayanami is in deep trouble for letting Teito escape. Apparently it is all his fault, what with posting the guards and chaining Teito to the wall and all. Clearly Ayanami is at fault. Even thought I hate Ayanami…yeah, not seeing why he is responsible for this incident. If I were to blame anyone it would be the Headmaster at the school.

Photobucket

Not amused.

Not that it matters anyway as Ayanami or his men could care less they were in trouble. The little tiny bishie with purple head wasn’t even awake to know he was in trouble. The glasses wearing bishounen seems to be the “cooler” one and the one Ayanami is close with. No one really got any screen time today except Ayanami because he has to yell and threaten Mikage. Ayanami is such a big strong man not abusing his power at all.

Photobucket

Excuse me Ayanami. You are not apart of this love triangle. Please be walking away from the innocent boy now.

The Eye of Mikhael stuff is interesting. Whatever it is Teito apparently sounds like a good candidate for this special stone. I am sure that Teito actually has one of the stones or will be the way to find the stone so I find it ironic. I just don’t want Teito to be sacrificed to this stone. I need my uke to be alive at the end of this series thanks.

Photobucket

DO NOT WANT!

Mikage didn’t get a lot of screen time this episode but his name did. Teito likes to say his name (or moan his name) 15 times an episode so it’s not like we are going to forget about Mikage any time soon. I am surprised he is still tied up and that the same scene repeated from last week. Okay, we get it Ayanami. You think that Mikage helped Teito escape. Now what? Either kill him or turn him to your side. I am not really seeing the point of holding Mikage hostage still. Of course he will probably be the user for the other stone if that is possible so maybe I shouldn’t be so gun ho about his plot moving along.

Photobucket

Mikage has protecting Teito from day one. Sadly I think he will end up in second place.

On to Teito and his chained self. Yes Teito is still tied up day two at this lovely church. And he is able to run and attack Frau while chained up. Apparently his word attacks can’t break though steel and the church has no way at all of bending metal. NO WAY AT ALL.

Photobucket

He sparkles through the chains!

But enough with the nit picky stuff. Teito is an angry little uke who can’t stand the kindness of strangers. XD But deep down he is a really sweet kid who is slightly obsessed with his best friend. I am not sure where he thinks he would if he left the church but he’s young and a hot head. He doesn’t need a game plan. He will just randomly find the answers from the past and save his friend with no thought process at all. After all this is an anime show where things either work out in the end or everything goes up in a blaze of glory.

Photobucket

Silly little Teito lying and being cute about it.

The eyeball soup was gross. I don’t care that is was actually fish and probably didn’t taste like eyes. It was weird and if I was Teito I would have starved. However Frau has a special way of dealing with Teito so our little hero won’t go hungry. But really…eyeball fish. BLEH!

Photobucket

Aw, feeding each other already.

Let’s talk about Frau and Teito. I just love their interactions together and the serious flirty vibes they give off. Frau is always picking on Teito and carrying him around bridal (or cave man style). They have known each other for two days and they have already gotten in two fights. Despite Teito being powerful…Frau is more powerful. Which is okay because Frau has to protect Teito anyway.

Photobucket

I sense the love!

Castor and Labrador didn’t really do much in this episode. Castor is sticking to his big brother role and supporting Frau and saying all the right things to Teito. Oh and making Teito look beautiful with his pretty flower. Labrador will just hand out coffee and look pretty.

Photobucket

But they made Teito beautiful so it's okay.

The end of the episode was a little concerning to me. It appears that the old man is either working for Verloren or under Veroren’s control. Teito will become desperate enough to make the pact with Kor death gods and the curse will be inflicted upon him. I am not quite sure that these priests can get rid of the curse so that gives me reason to worry slightly.

Photobucket

Why are you trusting random creepy man?!

I am just concerned he will make this pact and it will turn into a Code Geass situation again. Teito will make it so that Mikage can’t be harmed and the final battle will have them fighting against each other. Either way Teito will die and that will make me sad. :( So yeah, looking forward to next week so Frau can come and save Teito before making that pact.

Chrome Shelled Regios Episodes 12-14

It feels like forever since I watched Chrome Shelled Regios. I guess it only has been a little less than a month even though it feels longer. But I mostly caught up and that makes me feel a little less lazy.

But I was still slightly lazy. When I saw the previews for episode 15 I figured this would be a good stopping spot. 12-14 dealt with all the same subject matter while episode 15 looks like it is going to either be a goofy episode or an episode that will have too much annoying fanservice. So...I only blogged episodes 12-14.

I did things a little bit different this post as all the episodes related to each other and it was easier to blog it all together than each episode separately. Also I am lazy. So enjoy my attempt to catch myself up and be prepared for 3 episodes of confusion!

Photobucket

Clearly that is a boy. Clearly.

Episode 12 Summary

Photobucket

Layfon is always ready for battle!

The traveling city has reached a Selenium mine and Karian and his right hand man Vance look on feeling relieved. They catch that bald head guy from platoon 10 (Din) looking off in the distance and the moment feels useless. A traveling bus approaches the city and Karian looks concerned. Back inside platoon 17th is having a great time bonding and throwing balls around the room and each other. The loser has to buy dinner and Nina ends up being that loser. Before they can enjoy dinner bald headed Din walks up to the group and picks a fight with Sharnid. Sharnid jokes around and asks casually how Shena is doing. Shena is the blond with the beyond creepy curling (not curly, CURLING before your very eyes!) hair. Din doesn’t take KINDLY to questions and screams a little bit. Sharnid goes bar hopping as the other members go home. Felli and Layfon question about Sharnid’s past. Before they can get to the root of the issue Naruki comes running up and says she needs Layfon’s help. Felli pretends to be okay with that but really goes to town on a pole in frustration.

Photobucket

Exactly.

They arrive on the scene of…something and the situation is explained to Layfon. Someone was pretending to be a student and was trading around Overloads to people. Overloads are used to increase their awesome kei abilities but with nasty side effects. Layfon eyes his special kei eyes to see what kind of people are hiding in that building. Sharnid is bar hopping still but he is only pretending to be happy. He thinks back to happier times when he was in platoon 10 and they all wore matching uniforms with capes. While walking around Sharnid sees Shena and stalks her. The gate of the building explodes and all the people run. Layfon goes after a special eye patching wearing fool. Nina is running around in a towel because apparently she thinks Layfon is in danger. She uses her kei ears of awesomeness and hears what is going on. Everything gets a little confusing with all the characters running around so it is the perfect time to switch to Engrish. The bridge is still collapsing and the lady in the car is freaking the heck out. The man on top of the car fires on the screaming heads surrounding the car (exactly) and the little girl driving falls through a hole in the road so she can drive away.

Photobucket

The horror...THE HORROR!

…So yeah, Layfon catches up with eye patch boy who seems to know Layfon’s past. Once he takes off his eye patch Layfon recognizes the eye tattoo as one from the Salinvan Guidance Mercenary Gang. Yeah….anyway, Hier (eye patch boy) explains that he isn’t here to trade the Overload but is after something much more important. He is after the protection fairy of the fallen city that Layfon’s group just visited. You know, that GLOWING RAM! Hier goes on about how they are somehow connected as they trained under the same style/same teacher and makes no sense. They fight for a little while. Sharnid tries to sneak up on Shena but she comes up behind Sharnid with her special lance of power. It appears that Shena knows what is going on with these drug dealers but Sharnid makes a huge deal about not seeing her there at all. Nina shows up to help Layfon and Din is off being weird and rubbing his ears. The next day Shante and Gorneo are eating breakfast when they feel a presence in the room. It is Hier and his archer friend Myunfa. Elsewhere in another traveling city Leerin and her father have an audience with the Queen. Her father is happy that the Queen cares about his recovery and other things that don’t seem important. Leerin asks about Layfon and if he can ever return home. END OF CRAZIES EPISODE EVER!

Photobucket

Everything she says it super important as noted with the dramatic hand movements.

Episode 13 Summary

So the Queen decides she is going to answer Leerin’s question but only refers to Layfon as it. She says it is free to come back one day but due to what IT is it probably won’t want to come back. Then she talks on about how Leerin’s dad needs to pass on the Psyharden skill now that Layfon is gone. Gorneo questions why Hier and his lame friend Myunfa are in his room. Hier explains how he is looking for the city fairy of that dead city and thinks Goreno might know what is what since he was there. Gorneo thinks that Felli might know something and feels as if it is his responsibility to help out for some reason. Layfon gives Harley his broken weapon and Harley wants to make him a katana this time since that is how Layfon usually attacks. This apparently goes against his beliefs and he is mopey in the dorms. Back in Engrish land nothing makes sense as those three car people make it to a hotel room and talk to a fat man. Naruki confronts Layfon and Nina and asks for their help on that Overload crap. But she won’t tell them why she needs their help until they agree to do so. Felli is confronted by Heir and Myunfa. She goes to attack them but her brother stops her and looks happy to see the freaks. Nina and Layfon are told that Din is the one who is taking Overload and he has to be stopped. Naruki wants to capture Din even though Nina understands why he would take drugs like that.

Photobucket

No one understands me!

Shena is busy stalking Din around the city and he pretends to be okay and healthy. But really the Overload is starting to affect him. Nina confronts him and tells him there are other methods he could use to protect the city. He pretends to not care as he stomps away. Naruki asks Layfon and Nina what went down and is angry that Nina gave Din the head-up on this situation. Nina explains how this is all her fault because Sharnid is on her squad. Because once a long time ago or two years ago when Sharnid was in platoon 10 he was cool. His team was unstoppable and everyone looked up to them. Then Sharnid quit in the middle of the match and just walked away. Din beat the crap out of him as a sign that he cares and the next day Nina begged Sharnid to be on her platoon. So clearly it is her fault. Naruki says that she is going to tell her boss this information anyway.

Photobucket

American hamburgers can't do that! :(

Sharnid walks up and says that he knows that Din was doing drugs. Somehow it is decided that if Din is arrested this is going to affect the school badly and everything they know will be ruined. So they go to Karian with their concerns. He agrees that they won’t let the police handle this matter but Din has to be taken care of. Meaning that his kei has to be cut off forever or something. Heil walks in and says that Layfon can do this because he has Psyharden skills. Layfon and Heil fight for a little bit and Karian tells them to calm down. Karian says that they are working with Heil so they can get rid of the rouge city protector which brings disaster for all. The platoon match between 10 and 17 is about to start and Sharnid is wearing his old outfit and has a request of his teammates. THE END.

Photobucket

Did someone call for a dramatic entrance?

Episode 14 Summary

Photobucket

Memories....like the corner of my mind!

Turns out that his favor is to take out Shena which apparently is important to him. Nina talks about how they haven’t decided if they are going to go with the President’s plan. This prompts Sharnid to tell his sad tale. When Din, Shena, and Sharnid all started out at the school they worked really hard for their squad leader. Their squad leader is a boy despite him looking exactly like a girl. Anyway, they all worked really hard for their leader and then the intercity matches took place. They lost and their squad leader was BEYOND upset that he was graduating and being a loser apparently. Those three then made a pact that they would protect the city in place of their leader. But then Sharnid quit for some good reason that is not explained. This means that Sharnid has to end the friendships once and for all apparently.

Photobucket

Time to die!

The match gets underway and Sharnid separates Shena from the rest of the group. They fight for a little bit and Shena tries to hack his head off for leaving them behind. Sharnid said he was just trying to save them and that Din’s way was only going to kill him. The Engrish people are boring as the place they are staying at is attacked. Leerin is boring as she goes on and on about Layfon not returning to his home city and what that really means. Layfon runs into Din who is glowing red now. Layfon notes how strong Din is now but takes him down really fast. He seems to block off his kei thingy with the Psyharden skills but…THE RAM OF DOOM takes control of Din. It is very special. Heil and his people move in to kidnap Din so they can get control of the Ram. Nina figures out that the city fairy synced up with Din due them both wanting to protect a city and both feeling like they failed. Sharnid and Shena do their epic fight…but decide to go and save Din instead. Layfon stays and fights Heil. Heil talks more about the city fairy before he goes down. When more people show up Sharnid and Nina take them on so Shena can go save Din. Saving apparently consists of her telling Din she loved him and that they can stop fighting now. There are other people that will protect the city for them. He cries and the ram leaves his body. The end.

Photobucket

I am shocked that ROMANCE saved Din. Just simply shocked.

Well….that was interesting to say the least. Apparently I picked a good time to fall behind as all these episodes were Sharnid’s arc and they would make more sense all grouped together.

Photobucket

Let's pretend the Engrish didn't happen this week.

But I am not sure even watching all three of these episodes back to back made that much more sense to me. My brain felt really exploding after all this mess. :( It was just…a lot.

Photobucket

But at least my boobs don't sweat like Nina's...

It felt like too much even for three episodes to handle. We weren’t introduced to TOO many characters but they were not explained very well. No one who knows Layfon prior to his arrival to this city is explained very well. I get that Layfon already knows about this organization and doesn’t need that much explanation. But I do. And I didn’t get why a group that sounds so illegal should be morally correct in Layfon’s eyes.

Photobucket

Everyone loves Layfon!

I actually thought the RAM was going to be explained and I guess it was. But not in a way that I thought it was going to be. I thought that it was going to be a different kind of entity. Then I remembered that I am not quite sure what city fairies are anyway. I thought they were all going to be cute like this city’s fairy. You know, that fairy tree in Nina’s dream and all.

Photobucket

Kill those who make no sense!

I also thought the RAM was going to be different because of the fact that Leerin might be one? Or one is near her and protects her. How many ruined cities are there? And if having a dead city fairy is so dangerous why is Leerin walking around and not being hunted?

Photobucket

It sparkles!

It was not explained why getting this city fairy was important. Can you harness power from them? Are they really that dangerous? Are they a hot selling ticket items on the black market? I never really understood what was important about them. And I get that maybe I am not meant to know how important they are yet…but everyone was acting like they knew what it was and why it was important. So I wanted to know too.

Photobucket

Cue the tears!

The whole back story behind platoon 10’s demise made me laugh. And made me roll my eyes. And piss me off that even that couldn’t be properly explained. Seriously, they are that made at him for quitting? I don’t see how Sharnid’s vow is broken. He said that he was going to protect the city with them. Even if they are in different platoon’s they still can protect the city. Yes I would be upset that he left my platoon and caused me to fall in the ranks. But they seemed to be more upset that he broke their vow…and that I find stupid.

SMASH HIM NOW!

WHY DID SHARNID LEAVE THE PLATOON TO BEGIN WITH?! Dear lord, can’t anything get explained in this show? At first I thought that Sharnid left because of the “drug abuse” but that doesn’t make any sense. Unless these illegal traders had come to the city before. But even if that was the reason he left that makes him a really crappy friend. You don’t leave a friend who has a drug problem. So either we have no reason or a crappy reason. Woot for choices.

Such friendship.

Regardless I found the whole situation over dramatic. Shena and Din need to grow up and Sharnid needs to be more opened with people. And their old platoon leader had real issues. Real special issues. Because you know how it was HIS fault they lost the city match (which is impossible because Nina says it is HER fault). How do these kids think they are so important that they are the sole reason for losing? I understand losing in this situation really, really sucks but getting that over dramatic about it is laughable. Do your best and maybe you can do better next time.

This being the crowning moment of dramaticness.

Naruki needs to learn how to do her job with Layfon’s help. She wants to be on the police force not Layfon. I get that the case is hard and needs strong people to deal with it..but Layfon is not a police officer. Every time something gets too hard she comes running to Layfon. She will never learn how to do things on her own if she doesn’t even try. But at least her annoying little stalker friend didn’t show up.

Layfon cleaning up her messes.

Felli is a little psychopath..but I love her little pyschopathness. Apparently no one can talk to Layfon now without making her jealous. Or maybe she is just tired of people using Layfon too. Poles better beware around her.

Take that pole!

I am not sure why Gorneo and Shante were in this episode. More connections to their home city and how everyone knows about the RAM and these mercenaries except me? Or because it is fun seeing Shante act like a fool? Personally I think they were trying to top episode one by how many characters they could get into this plot. They might have topped it…but it just felt crowded and useless at times.

At least someone is confused with me.

What else happened in this long arc? Very few questions were answered and many more were formed. I guess besides learning what/why a city fairy is so important I am most curious about why the Queen referred to Layfon as it. Overall I guess these three episodes were just okay. Maybe if there was less focus on Sharnid’s platoon 10 drama and more about the RAM it would have been better. And drugs are bad mkay?

Layfon=it. Got it.
