I was in the middle of writing my Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko post when I realized I forgot to post something yesterday. XO What is wrong with me? How could I have forgotten to post one of the best pictures of the year? Clearly something is wrong with me.

Royal Wedding Fever? On my anime blog?

Um...probably not. XD

Behold the hat I would have worn today if I had been invited to the crazy wedding of the century? Decade? I guess decade is safe for now.

Tea time with the Queen? Can we have Code Red instead?

My hat is better than 50 percent of the hats at the wedding yes?

See how the hat doesn't fit on Corn's head? That means we are doing it right.

So no folks. I did not get up at 4 am to watch the wedding. Still haven't seen "THE wedding". Just clips that keep replaying over and over again on the TV. However a lot of people in my town must have gotten up early to watch the wedding as they were all too tired to cook tonight.

From what I have seen so far the wedding dress was a lot simpler than I thought it was going to be, the avenue of trees was small, and the number of ugly hates was astronomical. But not to be a Debbie Downer they both looked about 1000 times more excited than William's parents at their wedding so woohoo for that. And it looks like it didn't rain so yay?

But I laugh. LAUGH! All this nonsense about a normal girl becoming a princess and the title Catherine is given is Duchess? I LAUGH! Also I hid my confusion as I am not sure how this title stuff works and one day she might be given the title of Princess anyway but HAHA! All the news stations going on and on about the new princess and techinically she isn't one.

I think anyway. If I am wrong people can laugh at me instead. XD Yay for laughter.

In any event I am glad I work at a place with mostly men who could care less about this wedding stuff. I might feel out of the loop if it was an office setting with all the ladies going on and on about everything. But on the other hand maybe I would be more up to speed on things...

But I wish this new couple a happy and long life together. Hopefully the mistakes of the past will not be repeated and these two people will have a chance to really make it. Good luck you two.

Miss Universe 2010 National Costumes of Fail

YES! This post is random indeed! I did have a different post in mind for today. However I am still waiting to see if the Fall Anime 2010 list is legit before I post what I think looks good (or fails). So instead I thought I take a break from the constant anime posting to blog about something I think is funny.

I never watch beauty pageants. The only clips I have seen are when beauty queens mess up on stage and it gets national attention. Other than that I know nothing. But I might want to rethink my stance of not watching these train wrecks now that I have learned there is a costume portion of the contest. XO How exciting for me!

So here is a list of a few costumes that stuck out for one reason or another. This is in no way a complete list as not all the contestants have revealed their costumes yet (or maybe they have, when is the contest?) but from the list I saw these are the ones that I deemed awesome. Or fail. So enjoy a bunch of lovely pictures of pretty ladies wearing weird stuff.

Runner-up for best super hero costume. There were plenty of super hero like costumes so it was hard to choose!

Best super hero costume!!!! The Champion of Healthcare!!!

Best Lady Gaga impression costume. Seeing is overrated people.

Best costume that is not a costume. And by best I mean worse. This is not the evening gown part of the competition lady XO

Best "I thought this was prom" costume. Really I think the dress is gorgeous. Just not for a costume contest.

Best hat award. And I actually mean it. XO It goes with the outfit and fits like a hat. It doesn't look like a tree or something dead. It is something that fits ON THE HEAD!

Best hat that looks like a dead animal. Or maybe this hat is a sign that I need to finish Chrome Shelled Regios....

Winner of the worse hat EVER. Or is it the best lampshade ever?

Winner of the worse concept/shoe award. XO You won two awards! Congratulations it will never happen again.

I don't know if this costume wins an award as much as it is WHOA Vagina/vulva moment. Whoa people.

Winner of the "I know what country you are from" award. Seriously some of these countries were so out there.

Best Hooter Girl outfit. Because this is Hooters right? Right?

Best I rolled around in the grass and this is what I came up with costume. She is edible people.

And now...for what I think was the best costume out of the bunch. Because it was actually a COSTUME, it was fun, and it wasn't some random "concept" that just kept gluing crap on crap. WOOHOO!!!!

You win nothing. Unless you want a Hello Kitty plushie. I could part with one plushie as your award. But yay for winning!!!!
