Yuru Yuri Season Two episode 11

Hello there folks in internet land. It is I the one with a swollen eye. X__X I look like I got in a bar fight guys and all I did was go to sleep. Maybe I am a sleep walker and did get in a bar fight! XO That is a possibly since I believe in anime magic! But yes my eye is special. Work was fun yesterday and I am sure work will be fun today. Go me!
Photobucket
I am finally the star after all this time?! I am surprised!
As I head off to work let me get at least ONE blog post up. I am such a slacker lately. The Summer Anime Season is slowly ending and I am scrambling to catch up. GO ME! Up now is Yuru Yuri Season Two episode 11 time. Spoilers for Akari having time to shine?
Photobucket
This is why Akari thinks she has no presence? Oh silly girl.
Episode Summary: The girls are cleaning up the club room as it opening ceremony day and new students are entering the school. Akari and Chinatsu might become upperclassmen to new club members so Yui decides they need to clean. Kyoko decides that this is a waste of time but they clean anyway. They go into the closet and find a weird machine. They automatically decide it is a time machine and both Kyoko and Chinatsu fight over who gets to use it. Yui points out that Nana is probably the one who made the machine and it is probably going to blow up. Kyoko and Chinatsu run which causes Akari to fall on the machine and it disappears. The girls freak out and Akari is taken to the past. An entire year in the past. After finding out WHEN she is and eating some snacks in the club room she realizes she can reset all her mistakes and she will have a bigger presence in the show. She decides she will first fix her mistake about dressing casually to school on day one. Only Akari oversleeps and makes it to her house in time to watch her make the same mistake. She melts on the ground and her sister walks by. The sister sees the two Akari’s and probably dies from a happiness heart attack. Akari tells her sister what is going on and the sister believes Akari…mainly because she is in love with her. Akari explains how she has to make it to school to fix her weird introduction speech to her classmates.
Photobucket
Um have you seen my life? I must change it.
Akari makes it to the classroom in the nick of time and scribbles a message on her desk. Only when Himawari walks in she cleans off Akari’s desk so she won’t think that she (Akari) is being harassed. Past Akari is so happy while Present Akari is pissed. She tries passing notes to Akari on not to be weird but they get sent to Sakurako instead. Akari greets her classmates in a weird way and Present Akari is like…okay I still have a chance. Her next plan is to stop Chinatsu from arriving at the club room. She plans on delaying Chinatsu’s arrival to the club which will give her more time to shine. Chisato and Ayano think that Akari is lost when she is hiding in the bushes and they take her away. Chinatsu makes it to the club room on time and Akari is sad. Akari walks around in the school all sad where she runs into Rise and Nana. Nana says she doesn’t remember making this and doesn’t look like her invention but will trying and fix it. Even if it takes a while. Yay for crazy promises!
Photobucket
Cue the sappy music!
After Past Akari goes to bed Present Akari goes back home and talks to her sister than in a week she has one more chance to shine but she needs to hide out here to wait for that time. The sister is so happy as she figured Present Akari would need a place to sleep. The sister has cleared out all the creepy Akari stuff in her room and got the pair matching pajamas. They spend the night in bed where the sister points out that if Akari changes the past an entire year of memories will be lost/altered. That gets Akari thinking but she still goes to school to stop Ayano from interrupting her Akari Can Shine Speech. Akari makes it in time but thinks back to her sister’s words. She allows Ayano to interrupt Past Akari’s speech and decides her memories are more important than shining. Nana “fixes” the time machine which really just needed batteries. Nana, Rise, and the sister promise to keep all this nonsense a secret and off Akari goes to the present. Akari worries and has a dream scenario about returning to her time and no one caring about her being gone. But when she gets back she finds the entire class in the club room making Lost Akari flyers and crying. It is a touching scene…and then the time machine blows up. Kyoko then explains to the rest of the girls this movie idea she has had. Yui and Chinatsu declare it stupid and Akari cries over the fact she doesn’t even get a real episode devoted to her. THE END!!!
Photobucket
I get to be the star!!!!
Oh this show. Oh Yuru Yuri. Such insanity exists every time I watch an episode. I love how the main character of a show isn’t the main character, is aware she isn’t the main character, and when she finally gets an entire episode devoted to her (not just a segment) it is all basically a dream. Poor Akari.
Photobucket
SURE we are getting new students. I totally believe you.
But I am shocked that they are actually acknowledging a year went by. Of course…..in reality two years have gone by and maybe that is the joke. Kyoko is like PSHT no one is going to join our club because time is going to reset and we will all be back at square one. Of course she might have just been being lazy. I thought it was funny though. Like oh yeah a year has gone by WINK.
Photobucket
Oh snap no one is running to save Akari? :( Poor girl.
Since in the end it turned out this was a Kyoko movie should I really question why there is a time machine in their Amusement Club room? Maybe Nana really did create it but why would she store it in that room? Just weird. But since it is Kyoko’s version of some sort of movie I guess it can be understandable. It makes more sense now that we know it was a movie idea since Chinatsu just got done hiding in sad closet and didn’t see the time machine.
Photobucket
My life is so special. Thank you for believing me.
Of course Akari is the one who got sent to the past. She is not having a good year either. She needs to call up Mayaka from Hyouka and talk about how sucky their lives are. Of course I think Mayaka would have actually changed things while Akari decided all her pain and suffering was worth it. I think that Akari was the safe choice on going back in time. She wanted something very minor, standing out more. Chinatsu would have probably impregnated her past self with Yui’s baby, Yui would have made sure things were….boring, and Kyoko probably would have taken over the world. So Akari was the safe choice.
Photobucket
How about you freak out that you are IN the past?
Personally I might have freaked out a bit more than Akari. Like where is my stuff, I am walking home in strange shoes, and I am in the past. Of course it was only one year in the past so maybe that is why Akari wasn’t losing her little mind. But she had a snack and was like oh while I am here, with no way to return home, I might as well make sure I am the star of the show Yuri Yuri. Priorities. Akari has them.
Photobucket
What a surprise! You are about to make a mistake too. XD
There was several flaws in Akari’s Make Me Shine fix it moments. She should have set out Past Akari’s uniform for her. That might have involved breaking and entering but it could have worked. Instead of defacing the desk Akari could have written a note and taped it to the desk. And instead of waiting to ambush Chinatsu Akari could have written a note on the club house door, so she wouldn’t jump out of the bushes like a crazy person and maybe make the mistake of judging the direction Chinatsu was coming from.
Photobucket
At least she didn't kill Chinatsu?
Why was Chinatsu joining the club such a big deal? I am trying to remember but I am old folks. Old as dirt according to one 12 year old today. It is surprising I can remember where my teeth and walker are half the time. Chinatsu joined the club and Kyoko was like MOG I love you! Chinatsu was like MOG I LOVE YUI. But Yui remained normal and it wasn’t like Akari was totally ignored. She just wasn’t the center of attention she thought she was going to be. But I am not sure how making Chinatsu not join that day would make things better. Or how Akari would get her to join the club at a later date. That might have changed things up way too much.
Photobucket
So good indeed.
Akari’s sister toned down the crazy this episode. Which is slightly surprising since she is insane. But she hide all the crazy Akari merchandise in her room and didn’t molest the time traveler in her sleep. She gave useful advice and kept the secret from everyone else. So overall she wasn’t a crazy pants and I am surprised. Of course she didn’t get any sleep for a week but nothing happened to Present Akari so the sister gets a gold star this week.
Photobucket
So someone ELSE is making crazy inventions at this school?
Nana and Rise. It is always weird to see to see them since they add very little to the show. Since it was Kyoko’s special movie we don’t know who made the time machine. I was wondering about that but figured Nana just hadn’t made it yet thus didn’t know how to fix it. I am surprised that the machine didn’t blow up sooner though. Yay Nana and Rise for your little cameos.
Photobucket
Um...I would have done it. XD
In the end Akari failed at all her attempts to change the past but was actually going to succeed at her last chance. Like yes I have finally done something right! But…then she decided that she actually liked being ignored all last year and all those fun memories of being attacked by bugs or forgotten were worth clinging to. I see Akari. I SEE! Poor Akari. She rather be forgotten and almost invisible than risking losing…well her friends. The memories of all the fun she never had.
Photobucket
That and you are all crazy. But since everyone else is crazy maybe they would have believed you.
It is a good thing that Nana, Rise, and the sister decided that this should be kept a secret. Like yes who would believe you crazy people. Also time machines run on batteries. I see now folks. I see. Maybe Akari could use the time machine to find saner friends? XD Or make her sister less insane?
Photobucket
Oh were you missing?
Akari’s worries about returning to her correct time and no one caring…was probably the correct way of thinking. Like oh you’re back…well we ate all your snacks so sorry. Especially Kyoko. Ah my little Kyoko. So little caring, so little time. This is the present you were trying to protect Akari. Do you still think you made the right decision?
Photobucket
We all love you!!!!
But it turns out that all is well. 5 seconds before the time machine blew up Akari was loved. Everyone was crying over her and making posters. A beautiful sight indeed. Obviously Akari was in the right to save these memories if her friends care that much about her. We love you, thanks for keeping things the same.
Photobucket
You don't even get to dream in your own show. So sad for Akari. XD
And then the episode ends with it basically all being a dream. XD So the part where everyone cried over Akari being gone was fake. XD Silly Kyoko. And poor Akari who will never be the main character. Can this show get any crazier? Well there is only one episode left so I guess not. XD Unless it involves dinosaurs. Then I will change my mind.

Yuru Yuri Season Two episode 10

4 posts in one day! GO ME!!!!! I should celebrate with pizza and ice cream!...But I ate early today for some reason. I was confused because I was being productive while the sun was out. So…maybe I will get hungry later and celebrate again? XD Or I could go all out and look up the Fall 2012 Anime List and see what I am going to be behind on in a few weeks?! Go me!
Photobucket
I rather have a festival of sugar. :(
So my 4th post of the night…Yuru Yuri Season Two episode 10 time! Spoilers for Sakurako being super annoying as always.
Photobucket
Oh look Akari is being tortured again.
Episode Summary: The younger girls are sad to learn the older girls are going on a school trip to Kyoko. Yui sits next to Kyoko on the bus and worries about the special items she has packed (are they exploring a cave)? Sakurako grows jealous the older girls have gone on a trip, saying they never do anything fun. Himawari gets roped into going on an adventure but since neither have any money they decide to just walk until they find something interesting. Sakurako surprises Himawari with a homemade snack but it turns out to be crap. They keep on walking until they end up in the woods. They worry that a bear might come and eat them so they discuss different strategies in beating a bear. Sakurako points out that she has no idea where they are right now and Himawari panics. They find a random park bench to sit on and Himawari goes to call for help when she notices Sakurako has fallen asleep. Suddenly Akari pokes her head out and tells the girls they are in the woods behind the school. Yay for rescue! Kyoko and the girls have brief adventures in Kyoko which strangely look like the adventures they had last season. Kyoko seems to the most memories of the past trip, remembering the hotel and places they have visited.
Photobucket
Oh look Himawari and Sakurako are fighting again.
Chinatsu is not doing so well with Yui being gone. She starts worrying she is not worthy of Yui’s love so Akari starts listing all of Chinatsu’s good qualities, blushing while she does so. Chinatsu and her Yui picture loving self is so grateful for Akari’s help she offers to do anything for the girl. Akari is very nervous to take anything from Chinatsu, especially after seeing the scary letter Chinatsu wrote Yui so she settles for laying in Chinatsu’s lap. Chinatsu decides this is not enough and wants to give Akari a massage. Akari ends up tickled and dead on the floor. Himawari goes over to visit Sakurako despite the fact they always say they are not friends. Sakurako’s sister answers the door and offers Himawari a seat and a drink. The sister then gets on the phone and has a very interesting conversation with her friend about spending the night. Himawari thinks the worst/best. Sakurako arrives home to find all her orange juice drunk by Himawari and demands the girl does her homework as compensation. The girls bicker the entire time they are doing homework which makes the sister think back to when they were younger. Chibi Himawari and Sakurako were filling out a marriage form with the sister helping. It is decided both girls will be the wife while Himawari makes sweets and Sakurako eats them while being the Lord. The sister muses that they used to be such good friends…The older girls return from their trip with the exact same gifts as last time. Himawari and Sakurako are still trying to kill each other while Akari has been murdered by Akari. THE END!!!

Ah yes. This show is super special. But at least it is so special that it recognizes that fact and actually mentions it. Not many shows do that do they? Or if they do…well I am not talking about them now am I? XD
Photobucket
This all seems familiar....
What I am mainly talking about is how the show recognizes and mentions that the girls are still in the same grade and the older girls went on the same trip as last season. Because we can’t have the girls graduating or studying for entrance exams. Nope we must keep the money train going that is Yuru Yuri and to do that everyone must be in the same school. If that means everything repeats itself so be it. But at least the writers had fun with it. Interesting that Kyoko was the one who remembered most of the events while everyone else was like what, no we have never been here before.
Photobucket
We'll just have our own adventures! In walking distance of course....
So while it would have been fun for the girls to walk around Kyoko and for me to go MOG I HAVE BEEN THERE….well we have already been there with the show. Now it is the younger girl’s turn. We got to check out what they are doing while the other girls are repeating their super fun trip. XD Just hope they managed to have fun even though Kyoko didn’t have a backpack full of snacks. XD
Photobucket
I WANT TO DO SOMETHING NOOOOOOW!
Sakurako being bored is understandable. I wouldn’t want half of my friends on a fun trip when I am left at home being bored. But of course if I was that bored I would try to find something to do. I don’t think walking aimlessly is very much fun. I am trying to think what one could do with no money but everything is escaping me at the moment. Still I rather watch TV than walk around my neighborhood. Of course I don’t live in Japan and my neighborhood is boring.
Photobucket
Please accept this rock as a token of our friendship.
Sakurako and Himawari seem to be having as much fun as those two can have together. Sakurako at least TRIED to make a snack. It is the thought that counts right? Even if it kills people. XD So be a little more grateful when people give you a present. I do like that Sakurako was finding many ways to describe her dish as…excellent even though it was crap. XD
Photobucket
In nature. With caterpillars. RUN!!!!
Getting lost so close to home is special. Also again with the cellphones. If you are in danger why wouldn’t you reach for them first?! I might worry about bears too if I was in an area that was near bears. But I think I would have run all the way home if a caterpillar was on my foot. I just would have taken off and never looked back. No caterpillars for this girl! Thanks for saving the day Akari. Now get rid of all the caterpillars in the woods!
Photobucket
Not a way to treat your prized possessions.
Akari and Chinatsu… well we all know that Chinatsu is special and was probably melting on the floor at the thought of her lovely Yui being gone. That bag of Yui’s pictures was a bit disturbing. And sad. All of those pictures should have been put properly in scrapbooks or all over her ceiling like a psychopath. Not just in a paper bag like she doesn’t care about them. Oh and that letter to Yui was insane. Not that the letter would have gotten to Yui in time anyway but the whole special stationary….was special. Maybe Akari ripped it up.
Photobucket
I was scared for half a second. Then Chinatsu was Chinatsu and all was okay in the world.
I really thought that another crush was in the works. Like oh snap how many pairings can this show have?! When Akari was listing all the positive attributes she started to blush a little bit. Like oh snap there are good things about Chinatsu? That she might be someone worth liking? Chinatsu started to smile and things got all sparkly. But then Akari was reminded that Chinatsu is insane. What with the head in the lap thing and massages. Just…just no. Akari decided that Chinatsu, the girl who took her first kiss, was not a good crush. Good call Akari. Better to be ignored than with her I say. XD
Photobucket
Maybe this is the future and there are no more menz!
After some antics in Kyoko it is back to Sakurako and Himawari. Oh look more girls like other girls. I am not sure what was up with Sakurako’s sister. Is that going to be a plot point later? If so…there won’t be much time for it. X___X It just seemed to make Himawari lose her mind a bit. I wonder if it was Chinatsu’s sister…but she seems too old to fit the role. Either way….poor Himawari. XD
Photobucket
Why don't you just...go home?
While Himawari and Sakurako have a crush on each other sometimes it is hard to understand why they are friends. Especially on Himawari’s end. She is always doing Sakurako’s homework and being called the boobie monster and generally being made fun of. Sakurako seems to get a lot in this relationship. XD The fun times are not many with this pairing so it just makes me wonder why they bother.
Photobucket
MOG! Someone needs a hug!
But they were super cute when they were kids! Trying to fill out the marriage form and Sakurako actually being nice and allowing both of them to be the wife. XD Sakurako had grand plans didn’t she? Well I guess being Lord might pay good. Maybe she should be the husband. Himawari making treats. Just very sweet. Can’t they be more like that instead of having a crush on each other and trying to kill each other all the time? XD
Photobucket
Akari wants to take a trip away from Chinatsu.
With the older girls arriving back home and handing out sword presents this episode comes to an end. Akari is probably dead, Himawari and Sakurako still hate each other, and Chinatsu is happy. Sometimes I wish I could blast Chinatsu off the face of the planet. Until next time! XD

Yuru Yuri Season Two episode 9

Hello there my lovely readers. It is I….the one who thought the rain would stop long enough for a quick trip to the grocery store. As it stands it is Rain 1, Tenchi 0. Yay me! I would drown my tears in ice cream if I wasn’t so cold. XD It was kinda funny seeing all the menz run out to their cars to bring them around to their wives/significant others. I was like look me, I am woman, I am independent. Of course if my husband was there I am sure he would have done it for me. Because sometimes us independent women are allergic to raindrops too.
Photobucket
Chinatsu makes the best faces ever. Sorry Eru. XD
While I sit around and think about how half of my country is under water and the other half is dying to have water…I will blog. XO I know, two days in a row. Look at me I am amazing. Up now is Yuru Yuri Season Two episode 9. Spoilers for Chinatsu being a bigger freak that Kyoko woohoo!!!
Photobucket
Thanks for that Chinatsu. I needed that. Apparently everyone needs to have nightmares...
Episode Summary: Chinatsu draws the opening scene…and everyone is scared. Akari might have died. After all that drama the younger girls are all studying for upcoming exams. Sakurako is clearly bored as the other girls talk about their strengths and weaknesses in regards to other subjects. Sakurako occupies her time by putting different kinds of objects in Akari’s hair and eating snacks. For some reason the girls think that Kyoko would be a good person to call in regards to study tips. Kyoko plays a joke on them but the girls are silly enough to follow the advice. Yui (at her house) tries to reprimand Kyoko and tells her (Kyoko) to bring the younger girls some of the fresh bread she just made. On the way though Yui eats all the bread and Chinatsu tries to kill her. Sakurako is in awe of Kyoko and everyone worries on what would happen if those two became friends. Another day….some time in the future…Chinatsu arrives to the club room with pound cake in hand. But since they are having green tea today and everyone knows they can’t drink green tea AND eat pound cake at the same time. So Chinatsu goes to hide the cake in the closet when everyone else arrives at the club room. Chinatsu panicked and hid in the closet….but now is too embarrassed to leave. She tries to think of tons of scenarios that would allow her to leave the closet without looking like a freak. But since she only thinks of freaking things…she stays in the closet all day while listening to everyone talk about where she is. Chinatsu ends up eating all the cake out of desperation. Akari and Chinatsu have a sleepover but since Akari only stays up until 9 pm it is not much fun. Akari gets the great idea to watch a scary DVD so they both can stay awake. It works wonders because both girls end up being scared. Chinatsu suffers the most, thinking that Kyoko is a ghost all around the room. Chinatsu being scared ends up scaring Akari and no one gets any sleep. The rest of the episode has different pairings of girls doing random things but it is not the usual pairings. Akari shares ice cream with Chitose….and some ants. Ayano tries to go shopping with Chinatsu and to get some information about Kyoko out of her but Chinatsu only talks about Kyoko. Kyoko plays a trick on Himawari but ends up being a responsible older classmate. And Yui seems to suffer the most trying to teach Sakurako how to cook. THE END!
Photobucket
Boob-chan indeed!
Where to begin where to begin! This show is all over the place it is hard to believe it was all in the same episode. But since this is episode 9 of season two of Yuru Yuri…I should be used to it by now. Silly me perhaps?
Photobucket
Um lets not be took excited about doing homework.....
Sometimes I tend to forgot that the cast of Sailor Moon (the main ones anyone) are the same age as the older girls in Yuru Yuri. Maybe it is because Sailor Moon had the girls drawn way older and the Yuru Yuri girls actually look like 13/14 year old girls? Even counting Himawari counts. At least one girl in the group develops faster than all the rest. So sometimes I think I am too harsh on this show when really one of my favorite shows had girls around the same age. Silly me. Also I am not sure why I am typing this..
Photobucket
You are supposed to be reading mangas and complaining about your boyfriend not being there gosh!!!!
OH YES! I remember. The study group. It reminded me of all the study sessions the girls in Sailor Moon had. Like Serena (silly English dubs..) was the Sakurako of the group. Everyone else was nice and lovely and studying and Sakurako was the one being bored and not helping at all. I mean I guess not everyone can be strong in school and…perhaps she wasn’t stronger in any subjects than the other girls. But if everyone else was going to talk and be helpful I would pay attention. I mean free tutoring sign me up. XD But sticking pens and what not in Akari’s hair looked just as fun.
Photobucket
We will bond over the fact that most of the time no one can stand us yay!!!
Kyoko eating all the bread…I can see how that might happen. Sometimes bread can be like popcorn or chips. You don’t realized how much you have eaten until it is all gone! Especially roll bread like that. So…Kyoko and Sakurako will be grand friends and everyone else will just worry for their own safety. They are harmless anyway.
Photobucket
There is something about closets that draw people to them! XD
Oh Chinatsu. I have had some fun moments in closets too. I think that came out wrong…but yes sometimes in the heat of the moment people do weird things. Had Chinatsu been caught closing the door Kyoko would have noticed and Chinatsu wouldn’t have been able to hide the cake. Of course in the end….there was other pound cake. So Chinatsu suffered for nothing. Fun times.
Photobucket
Chinatsu can fly people woohoo!!!
All of the scenarios Chinatsu thought of were insane. So I might be hard to just pick one. I do like that she thought them all out and that almost all of the reactions would have matched what she though. I think Yui would have been a bit more…X__X each time. I think I liked her dashing through the room the best. But I think I would have plotted to make a loud noise somewhere else in the room and sneak out that way. XD
Photobucket
Did I say Akari was weird? I meant Chinatsu....
Chinatsu spending the night at Akari’s house…was special. Of course I am one who goes to bed late all the time….but then again I one who gets up really late too. But when there is company or we are on vacation with specific plans I try changing my sleeping habits for a few days. One can operate on little sleep right when there is fun involved yes? Akari….is so silly. I mean maybe it is hard to stay up late but 9 pm? My grandmother stays up later than that! XD
Photobucket
Sleep is overrated anyway....
I love scary movies….and I understand being scared by them. Like I scary myself silly and I am unable to sleep at night. On Saturday I was sitting here chillin and not blogging anime when I SWEAR I heard someone whistling a classic horror movie score. I was like WFT and then my cat acted all frightened too and I was unable to sleep. So while Chinatsu is annoying…her being scared was amusing and I felt bad for her at the same time. If that makes sense yes?
Photobucket
Cooking is boring Yui. Get that through your mind!
The rest of the episode was devoted to the girls doing random things around town. I can appreciate the fact that it was different girls doing things. How boring would it be to do something with the same exact people all the time. Especially when half the people can’t stand each other (well sorta anyway). But if people are going to get together in a big group and act friendly I need to see them interacting in other situations. Clearly Sakurako thinks the same way I do so Yui needs to back up. Akari was suffering again so how is that anything new? So…yay Kyoko and Himawari for bonding. WEEE!
Photobucket
Akari suffers so....I will go get ice cream myself now. XD
So that is about it in anime land for Yuru Yuri. I am dry now and maybe I can eat some ice cream? Maybe actually check my email and see how many comments I have? Remember my email account password? HAHA…time for ice cream. XD Such a lazy Tenchi…I’m sorry. Enjoy the pictures of Chinatsu suffering though. XD

Yuru Yuri Season Two episode 8

Hello there my lovely readers! I am so far behind in...well everything it is not even funny. X__X The husband leaves town and I decide to do nothing but snuggle with my cat? What a lazy pants I am. Hopefully I can light a fire under my butt and clean the house, response to blog comments, and catch up on tons of episodes.
Photobucket
Someone looks super helpful. X__X
So here is my feeble attempt to do a bit of catching up today. Yuru Yuri Season Two episode 8 time. Spoilers for Merry Christmas Time!

Episode Summary: After the amazing adventures at summer Comiket…Kyoko is stressed out that she hasn’t finished her manga for the winter Comiket coming up shortly. Yui chastises Kyoko for poor time management but agrees to help as she is used to helping. Akari says she will help out if Kyoko shows her the ropes. Chinatsu is like what can I do to help and everyone is like MAKE TEA! Chinatsu gets upset as Kyoko refuses to allow her to help and becomes annoying with random dancing around the room. This distracts everyone from their work so Yui asks for fresh tea about 4723743 more times to distract the girl. Everyone decides to take a bathroom break and when they return Chinatsu has messed up one of the pages. Kyoko freaks out and the world ends. Later when Kyoko puts herself back together she dons a Santa outfit and stomps to the student council office declaring it Christmas party time! So all 8 of the main girls decide to give in to Kyoko and they go to the Karaoke place. Surely this will a grand day!

Kyoko seems to have the most fun buying crazy amounts of food and drinks for the group. She takes great pleasure in messing with Yui’s drinks. Most of the songs seem to be the same one about lovers and matching mugs. Ayano tries to pick a song to sing with Kyoko but keeps attacks of shyness. Chinatsu keeps trying to pick a song to sing with Yui but her plot is foiled time after time. Chitose and Akari seem to have fun but since they are acting relatively normal no one pays attention to them. Himawari has to put up with Sakurako being a brat so it is a successful Christmas party. Sometime later Chinatsu is taken out by Yui. Yui has still not repaid Chinatsu for the awful chocolates and scarf for Valentine’s Day so surely taking out the girl near Christmas time would be a great idea. Chinatsu slowly starts to lose her mind and plots how to make this a real date. She momentarily gets a bit sad when she realizes “normal” couples don’t have two girls but then decides she is who she is. She makes Yui take her to a scary movie so she can snuggle up to Yui but things do not go according to plan. She ends up almost ripping off Yui’s arm. Yui tries to put on a brave face but Chinatsu gets a little sad. Yui smiles and says she is having a great day. That breaks all the resolve Chinatsu had in her little body and she turns into a total crazy pants. She declares Yui her lover and hangs all over, creating a scene and such. Happy Holidays. THE END!

Ah Yuru Yuri. Such an insane little show that makes almost no sense half the time. Yet people watch it and the first nendoroid from the series is set to come out soon. That is how you known you have made it in the anime world. At least by Tenchi standards.
Photobucket
Fall is a boring time of year anyway.
So why do I think the show is weird this week? Well weren’t we at the summer Comiket last week? I believe we were. And now this week Kyoko is getting ready for the winter Comiket? One could argue that it takes months to get ready for events, that after one is over you get to work on the next one. But…since Kyoko was dressed as Santa later in the episode and other Christmasy things…I am going to assume that it is December. Apparently September, October, and November aren’t that important.

Everyone is a slave rejoice!!!
So putting aside that..Kyoko needs help. I thought she had a circle she worked with. X__X Or at least other manga friends. Why is Yui so used to it? Oh because Kyoko has always been this special and she can’t count on anyone like she can Yui. Akari was a quick learn too. Eager to please and not be invisible I am sure. Good thing those two said yes or Kyoko would have been screwed.

More tea please!
The person who wanted to help the most was the one shunned from the project. Since it is Chinatsu I really can’t complain. She needs to suffer a bit. After seeing the world’s scariest manga done by her hand I can see why Kyoko was hesitate to give her any control over the situation. Maybe next time Kyoko will just invite Yui and Akari to her house and unleash the super surprise! Time to work. Maybe Chinatsu would have found out and been mad but at least the art would have been saved.

I'm a little tea pot!
Chinatsu did a lot of things while she wasn’t allowed to work. Her random scary dances were nice and..well scary. Distracting too. I can see why the girls wanted her to do other things but that particular activity was annoying to the girls. Yui trying to take one for the team was pretty sweet. I don’t think I could have drank that much of something I love (Code Red PARTY!) let alone…tea. X__X Good job Yui. But…all that effort was for nothing. Chinatsu was able to reach the pretty drawings and ruin them. Usually Kyoko has spaz attacks for no reason but this time I felt bad for her.

Time to party WEEEE!
So…forgetting all that just happened..CHRISTMAS PARTY! It is interesting to see how Japan celebrates Christmas even though I am aware this is an anime show and has been exaggerated. Still the idea of presents seems to only be a big deal between couples and maybe close friends. Being together with people and having a good time seems to take over this holiday which is a big chunk of Christmas yet?

Someone looks excited over karaoke...
That being said I hate karaoke. XD I mean maybe I would love it if I was a good singer. But these kind of events don’t really bring out the amazing singers. Case in point all of these girls….well they sounded like little 12 year old girls barely on key. XD Although I do recall reading somewhere that the enthusiasm behind the singing is what people focus on in Japan. Still I wonder why this because so popular in Japan. X__X Just seems like a lot to do.

SO MUCH FOOD!
X__________________X Are these girls rich? Or at least Kyoko. All the food and drinks almost made me explode. I hope those were free refills or else those girls lost all their allowance for the month. It looked so expensive but hey it was a party. Maybe that is the point of Karaoke? Cheap food and a fun place to be alone to party all night long? Wait how old are these kids? X___X

Look at me being all cute and blushy.
So the singing…..they were singing the same song over and over again right? I’m not crazy yes? Kyoko did her best be lively, Akari probably was the best, and Chinatsu was creepy. Chisato was tolerable this episode which is a miracle. Ayano was too shy to get her way and the other two girls…well they didn’t contribute much so why did they bother showing up? Overall it looked like a fun party and maybe the girls had to be rolled out because they ate so much. Just I rather…well go to Steak n Shake with my friends than listen to any of us sing.

See? A romantic date.
Chinatsu goes on a date with Yui. Yui does know that she is a crazy person yes? Maybe that makes Yui insane too for never learning her lesson. She did need to pay back Valentine’s Day but…isn’t that what White Day is for. Bad Yui. I would have gotten her a nice sweater or something because the idea of trapping myself with that insane person is a bit too much for me.

Don't worry about what other people think about you. Well....loving a girl anyway.
I ALMOST felt bad for Chinatsu. ALMOST. The part where she felt bad that she wasn’t “normal” for wanting to go out with a girl. True Chinatsu isn’t normal and all the yuri in this show is way over the top. Had she really been in love with Yui and felt this way I would have been all :( too for her. If you love someone you love them. Well as long as everyone is on consenting age. And since both these girls are about the same age…I say have at it.

Good idea in theory...
But Chinatsu is insane so it is hard to feel bad for her. She did try pretty hard in this episode though. I thought her scary movie idea was a good one. Too bad she took it way too far with the squeezing. Yui might have to get a restraining order against Chinatsu now. But…since Yui isn’t honest Chinatsu thought the movie was a success. I love going to horror movies too and getting scared out of my mind. XD

....but the results are special.
Overall I think that Yui was trying to have a nice time with Chinatsu. And Chinatsu was almost acting normal. But in true Chinatsu fashion she has to ruin things. She can’t just leave well enough alone. Yui was smiling and Chinatsu was like this is a real date…SO I LOVE YOU! Let me embarrass you in front of everyone and act like a complete fool. WOOHOO good times. This is surely how to get a second date.

Not quite as scary as Chinatsu's drawings but still.....
So…I think this is about it for the insane show that is Yuru Yuri. Yay for Christmas and mangas yes? Now if you’ll excuse me I need to get a Code Red now…or two. Maybe three. Then explode!
