Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate episode 12 FINAL EPISODE!

Dear Lord it feels like it has been ten thousand years since I blogged any anime. I planned on having some posts up earlier today but the husband and I tried taking me OUTSIDE *gasps* to do some simple chores and see if I am well enough for work tomorrow. Bleh. Need to make the mesos to have more adventures! We shall see….and it is only 4.5 hours tomorrow. So maybe I will manage. Cross yo fingers.
Photobucket
I'm late all the time so don't worry.
For now it is Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate time. LAST EPISODE! Can’t start the new anime season if the old one is still hanging over my head folks. Spoilers for episode 12 ending…like cupcakes and chocolate.

Was he there all night?!
Episode Summary: Yuuki wakes up with their papers and treasures from the bridal event all over the ground but no sign of Chisato. He answers his ringing phone and the creepy voice on the other side claims to have Chisato. Person on the phone says that they will return Chisato if Yuuki follows orders and tells no one what is going on. Yuuki is given instructions on where to go next on his wild goose chase. Michuri and Yakumo are visiting with a now awake Kana when Yuina walks in. Yuina pretends everything is smiles and rainbows and reminds Yakumo he has an election to oversee. Yuina promises to stay and help watch Kana whom was never in any real danger right? They are all friends. When Yakumo leaves Yuina tries to pump Kana for information on what happened when she got hit by the car and if there are any more pictures. Michuri alerts Kana to Yuina being a black color thus the girls decide to be quiet. Yuina eventually leaves the girls anyway.

At Snack Eating R Us everyone is in a panic as a negative article about Yuuki has just been published. Hidaka runs out to find out why her own paper would publish the article as Mifuyu tries calling Yuuki. He hangs up on her as he rushes to get to all these telephones to get his next clue on where Chisato. It becomes obvious that Yuuki is being lead far away from the school. The Snack Club is in a panic as before the election each candidate is to make a speech. Thankfully Yuuki is given the last slot but they still need to find them. Hidaka comes back in and informs everyone that sometimes he dresses up as a girl so he can get more information from people. She then explains that her club cheated and registered her as two separate people to get more funding. This somehow ends up with the club being in the back pocket of the General Affairs people thus the article on Yuuki was printed. Yakumo is called by Kana and told to check her phone which apparently Yakumo has. This leads him to informing the Snack Club he has put tracking devices on all of them. As Yuuki is missing his time slot the voice on the phone is interrupted by Yakumo telling Yuuki where Chisato is. Yuina looks up from her creepy voice changer to see Yakumo glaring at her. Turns out Kana downloaded all the pictures on her other phone before the car (driven by Yuina) hit her. Kana is all shrugs, saying that this is what elections are all about and she belongs to a different faction thus it doesn’t matter if they the Safety Commission or the General Affairs is in power. Yakumo arrests Yuina because in this anime…kids can do that to other kids.
Photobucket
Please don't let her watch me...
A beat up and tired Yuuki finally finds Chisato in her underwear. He hugs her as she wakes up. She asks why he isn’t at the election and he says that nothing matters but her. She is the most important thing to him ever. So…she hits him in the head and says for now you belong to everyone. Ai and Kii show up to bike Yuuki and Chisato to the speech podium. Yuuki makes it in time to say his name before he runs out of time. He starts causing a scene and before he is thrown out Satsuki stands and says that it would be an injustice to not hear all the candidates speech. She basically forces Moheiji to agree with her. Yuuki instead of explaining why he was late and looks like crap…explains he was in Yakumo’s back pocket the entire time and he didn’t run the campaign truthfully. He wanted to help the financial aid students but instead he followed Yakumo’s rules on how to smile and say the right things. Yuuki says even though he started his campaign to only save the Snack Club now he wants to help the entire school and stop the fighting. Sometime in the future Yuuki is elected President, Satsuki is Vice-President and in the Snack Club, and Isara is in the club meaning the financial aid students have been freed. Yuuki isn’t around at the moment as Chisato and him are paying their respects to Chisato’s brother. Chisato is able to eat chocolate again and they share in a kiss. THE END!
Photobucket
going to beat you! Shocking I know!
MOG! This ending was not predictable at all and it was totally worth the wait. I mean…it is not like every single episode I clicked on had NO SUBTITLES passed the first minute and I wasted precious Pokemon moments on this show. So special indeed.
Photobucket
So much running! Made me tired!
I did feel bad for Yuuki though. I am sure he knew he was being led away from the school the entire time but what could he do? He knew he was being watched and giving anyone a head’s up might put Chisato in danger. I might have said PSHT he is being overly concerned, these are just teenagers. But after all this spy and run over nonsense…Yuuki did the right thing. Just so tiring him watching him do all that running. :( Poor Yuuki.
Photobucket
What do all those words say?!
Little did he know that back at the school he was the talk of the town. School elections are SERIOUS business. In case kidnapping Chisato wasn’t enough another plot was taking place to make sure Yuuki was not elected. I am not sure what the scandal was about but it made the Snack Club get all X__X face. Such a stressed out bunch. Of course they would have been worried when Yuuki didn’t show up so…was all this tension necessary?
Photobucket
Did you guys forget or something.....
Oh it was the writer’s feeble to explain what was going on with Hidaka? I see now. While Hidaka’s real gender was never explained I guess….well no. Hidaka wasn’t doing a good job being sneaky. Wearing both kinds of uniforms could have gotten more information out of people had Hidaka done it in a sneaky way. But when people SEE you doing it and KNOW what you are doing it comes across as weird. And unnecessary. Was Hidaka’s club really in danger of being shut down because there wasn’t enough members or was it all about the money? Just….sad. Maybe Hidaka is confused gender wise but this subplot came really at the 11th hour and seemed…odd. Just odd. Everyone is dirty folks! No clubs are clean.
Photobucket
Michuri=creepy.
Why does Yakumo have Kana’s phone? Shouldn’t her parents have it? Oh I forgot kids are all powerful at this school. But it does make sense that Yuina didn’t think to check for another phone since most Japanese people tend to have those flippy phones. Kana is smart and Yuina is…well smart too. Just not smart enough. But Michuri’s special ability is special and wasn’t explained at all.
Photobucket
Pay no attention to those details. We got cute girls and tons of crazy threatening situations!
Which I think was my problem with most of this show. A lot of great ideas were thrown at the viewers but not many were explained. Probably because there were only 12 episodes. 5 girls and only 12 episodes? Yeah a lot got left behind. Like what was Michuri’s powers all about? And come to think about it Isara really didn’t get much love did she? Just beat up on and the apparent promise that Yuuki was going to make it all better. The three other girls had decent back stories and what not but all the other characters were like MEH who cares.
Photobucket
Because he is god or something?
I really never understood exactly that this faction business was all about but I got enough of it to…roll my eyes and think MOG these are kids? Where are the teachers? Kids are getting hit by cars and stealing money?! These elections are scary folks! Yuina…yeah. Would have liked to see her had more people behind her to make all this happen but she was pretty evil. And such a gentle voice to boot.
Photobucket
Where is my girl you punks?!?!?!?!
I love how Yuuki was so relived to find Chisato. That the first things out of his mouth were that the election didn’t matter and his world is Chisato. They didn’t have to be reasonable words but I think Yuuki needed to say them. Like of course none of this nonsense matters, it is a high school election. Soon you will be graduating and out in the real world where HOPEFULLY there will be consequences for your action. While the Snack Club is right saving Chisato was more important. He was rewarded with a slap of course…which he deserves after what he did to Chisato. At least he made steps in the right direction of me not hating him anymore. XD
Photobucket
So much honesty!
Ai and Kii riding those bikes to provide power for the campaign came in handy as they got Yuuki to his speech in time. Well in time enough not to be disqualified. Satsuki and her only contribution to this episode was to make sure Yuuki got his speech. After all elections do need rules but when one party is breaking all the rules things have to change. Or the power of friendship. Either way.
Photobucket
Yeah Yakumo!
Yuuki said things…that I wasn’t really expecting him to say. I would have been LOOK I was out looking for my friend who was kidnapped by So and So. DO NOT VOTE FOR THEM! Me or Satsuki. That is it. That is what I would have done. Yuuki went down the honest route which I guess is good too. Maybe after seeing all this lying and craziness going behind the scenes Yuuki decided he was going to start off with a clean slate. Which is honorable. I am really glad he talked about the financial aid students as I think he should have mentioned them before. But he really talked to the people and was real. Keep it real Yuuki.
Photobucket
Everything is better with yaoi sticks!
Which apparently gets him elected. Just WHOOSH we have only 3 minutes left cram EVERYTHING in these minutes or else it won’t get wrapped up that nicely. Well…it didn’t. Isara being at the club means that the financial aid issue got solved but it was never spoken. Personally I think some people needed ass kickings. Satsuki is Vice President…which is how elections SHOULD be held. First place President second place Vice President. Satsuki is in her own Financial Council Section, Vice President of the Student Council, AND a new member of the Snack Club. ONE BIG HAPPY FAMILY! All the problems are solved folks!
Photobucket
Look Mom, all better! Not that you care!
The episode ends with Chisato coming to terms with her brother’s death. I think this girl needs a lot more counseling and therapy and tons of other things to get over her brother’s death. Oh and she was kidnapped! Tons of things happened to her and she was messed up. But hey everything is okay with a chocolate bar and a Yuuki kiss. Chisato…while suffering her issues….had a REAL problem and it seems like such a waste to throw that realness away to glide over the issue.
Photobucket
The person who probably should have won.....
I am almost at 2,000 words so I will glide on over to have a nice day and this show is done. Way too short of a series if they wanted to cover all this material. As a result everything felt half assed and I am now afraid of all high school students. WOOHOO! Goodnight!

Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate episode 11

Hello there my lovely readers! Soon the husband and I will be on the road to Anime Weekend Atlanta. Like last year the husband has decided we will take the "back roads" as they got us there 30 minutes early last year. When I say roads I mean the parts of scary movies that the stupid teenagers take to get away from the baddies and they end up dead in the woods. WISH US LUCK!
Photobucket
Say it ain't so!!!
So I shall post this and become completely caught up on episodes before my trip! GO ME! Up now is Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate episode 11. Spoilers for Tenchi being happy she didn't attend this crazy school.
Photobucket
The whole world is a lie!!!!
Episode Summary: Yuuki sits there in shock at the fact that Michuri is a spy. Yakumo keeps on talking that the people who run the school also answer to other people, people who have long graduated. To make things a little more complicated this Katahira Faction that Yuina keeps going on about is actually a group within the Security Commission. The Katahira Faction agreed to give Kana treatment after she went too far in investigating things. However they will pull back their treatment if Yakumo keeps backing Yuuki up. Also Yakumo promises to make Yuuki’s life miserable if he tells a soul about this. Yuuki starts talking about how Michuri deserves to know but Yakumo won’t allow that. Yakumo is sad as he had high hopes for Yuuki. He thought that Yuuki could help protect his secret, that funds are being spent to help out Kana. But now that is all over. Yakumo and his men go to leave when Yuuki grabs his cellphone and makes a 6 second phone call to tell Michuri where Kana. All chaos breaks loose and Yakumo’s men go to the hospital to guard Kana. Only Michuri is already there and takes Kana outside. Michuri wheels the girl around and talks about how she became an agent to find her. She takes out the harmonica and plays the song that Kana taught her. Suddenly Kana wakes up as Yuuki and Yakumo hear the music. Yakumo and Michuri reunite with Kana and all is right in the world.
Photobucket
I am going to eat this candy bar and get all better!
While all this nonsense is going on Mifuyu goes to visit Chisato who is still in bed. She tries to get Chisato dressed to visit Chisato but she refuses to get out of bed. Mifuyu repeats some of the things Yuuki said only kinder. That she needs to stop using Yuuki as a substitute for her dead brother. Chisato claims she isn’t, then gets all upset talking about how Mifuyu loves Yuuki and she should try to get with him. Mifuyu gets hurt and tries to calm down Chisato. Then she changes into Chisato’s clothes that show off the scar she got during surgery. She runs to the elevator to show her friends what she has been “hiding” but Chisato stops her. She hugs Mifuyu and says she is sorry for all that has happened between them. They hug it out and wait for Yuuki to come home from his adventures. When he arrives Chisato offers him some chocolate but not before eating some herself.
Photobucket
How can he be winning?! Let me kidnap someone!
Sometime after all this (or maybe the next day) there is a debate with all three of the candidate. Yuuki does well as everyone watches. Well everyone but Michuri and Yakumo as they are at the hospital spending time with a conscious Kana. Yuuki does well which pisses Yuina off. She thinks that Yakumo is still giving Yuuki his support but she is told that Yakumo isn’t. The Snack Club rejoices after the debate where they think Yuuki might have a chance. The topic of Chisato comes up and Mifuyu suggests how Yuuki can make Chisato better. She is like go on a date with Chisato! Yuuki is like X___X while Chisato pretends that she is a normal girl now. Before the date can start a man approaches them. Apparently the models for their bridal expose never came and they need a couple right now. So…down the aisle Chisato and Yuuki go. It is beautiful wedding but the couple hesitates to kiss. Little kids congratulate them for their cute wedding which makes Chisato and Yuuki think back to when they did that to a happy bride. Yuuki realizes that he has loved Chisato all along but just didn’t know that is what he was feeling. The two walk home and all seems right. Chisato is like…we can kiss now because no one is looking. They go to kiss and both are hit by stun guns. Chisato is kidnapped and Yuuki is left on the ground. THE END!
Photobucket
Right in the gut. X___X
OH BOY FOLKS! I watched episode 10 and was like I need to watch episode 11 so I can know all about episode 11. But then….yeah. Michuri once again was a second thought and Chisato takes center stage again. I guess I was wrong about her not getting the happy ending.
Photobucket
And yet the kids have control over it?!
Yakumo kept on talking this episode and things started to make sense to me. Or maybe I am slow and it made sense all along. XD But the whole faction baloney I was confused about. Like why would she be supporting another commission. But now I see it is really a division within the Safety Commission. I guess it is not all cupcakes and rainbows even if you are in the same group. Yakumo really needed Yuuki to become the President so he could hide the hidden expense of the hospital bill. Not sure if they needed to hide the “spy” budget I understand how personally for Yakumo he needed Yuuki and it wasn’t all about the power remaining in the Safety Commissions hands.
Photobucket
And I will take out anyone who finds out the truth!
That all being said Yakumo got a little…crazy. I understand he feels bad for Kana and is trying to help her, even making deals with people he doesn’t particularly like. But all the talk about keeping it a secret and implying he might harm Yuuki. A bit creepy. People listening in on them, telling Yuuki he was basically a glorified puppet, and giving him the consolation prize of keeping his club. While Yakumo is the lesser of two evils I might be on team Satsuki since her primary goal is…saving money. And not being creepy.
Photobucket
Best security ever!
After Yuuki made his 6 second phone call Michuri was like OH CRAP! I am going to get no screen time at this rate if I don’t do something amazing. So Michuri morphed into a Mighty Morphing Magica Secret Agent and got Kana out of the hospital. With all the crazy people watching the floor. Just a thought guys. If you are trying to keep someone away from a certain door….keep most of your focus on that door. Not the entire hospital.
Photobucket
Yay for friendship!!!!
I would feel more about the revival of Kana…if there was any build up. Nope she and Michuri are apparently friends and Kana was picked to be an agent and Michuri became an agent after the fact. This is all told to us instead of shown to us and I feel that takes away from the relationship and feeling. It just…is. They are friends because they are. And Michuri can play the magical harmonica and bring Kana back because she was in an emotional coma and not a injury coma? What the hell is going on? And why can Michuri see colors? See folks, this is why this series should have been 24 episodes. All of this is getting crammed into one episode when really it needed more time to have feeling. Michuri hiding out with Kana and Yuuki being threatened by Yakumo. Instead everything is resolved in 5 minutes woohoo!
Photobucket
Well eff you too!
On the other side of town Mifuyu was trying to be a good friend but Chisato was still having a moment. Yes homegirl has been through a lot but she was rather cutting towards Mifuyu wasn’t she? Almost like she was pissed that Mifuyu loved Yuuki and was trying to keep it a secret. Mifuyu had her feelings and kept them inside to protect her friend. Chisato announcing them out loud just seemed over the top and cruel. Chisato was just trying to fix things for her friends even if that meant she was the odd man out.
Photobucket
I am horrified by that wound!
I thought Mifuyu was being a little dramatic about the scar on her stomach but then again this show is dramatic so she fit right in. I think these two need to work on their relationship more. Chisato is the kind of person who depends fully on someone, almost obsessed. Mifuyu was so grateful to be accepted by anyone she squished her own feelings down inside of her and let Chisato take the lead. While Chisato has known Yuuki longer she really needs to work on this friendship. Maybe if she spread out her needy behavior Yuuki wouldn’t feel so trapped and upset.
Photobucket
Because she is insane?
But she got better folks. All is better with Chisato. She took a bite from that candy bar and instant betterness. Maybe she was getting closer to better all this time but to me it felt sudden, especially after her melt down in episode 10. Baby steps? Psht out the window. Time to date Yuuki and pretend they are a couple. I mean….really folks. What happened to blushing faces and accidentally touches. Yuuki was harsh with Chisato and Chisato was using him as a brother substitute all this time. Surely they have some things to work on and shouldn’t dive right into a relationship. Chisato was acting INSANE. Lets not pretend that away because you are wearing wedding clothes and you remember you love her. These things take time. Time you say? Like Michuri got? Well by all means let us declare Chisato better with that bite of chocolate.
Photobucket
Michuri sees energies. She doesn't need no school!
Oh and where was Michuri after all of this? Gone. And no one said a word! Maybe she was gone just for the day and not forever (still don’t know if she is a real student hired as a spy or adult playing a student) but still a little acknowledgment that she is gone for the day would have been nice. After all everyone was worried about Chisato right? Oh wait these are the people who didn’t care about Yuuki being in a car accident. XD Michuri didn’t get much screen time did she?
Photobucket
Yuuki has been through a lot in the past 24 hours....
After the impromptu wedding ceremony that stirred up forgotten memories in Chisato and Yuuki the two walk home. I might have been traumatized by the whole pretend wedding but they both seem okay and maybe want to kiss? Only since is the most dramatic show since FOREVER Chisato is kidnapped, probably by Yuina since Yuuki was doing well in the polls.
Photobucket
Here comes the crazy bride!!!
Poor Michuri indeed. She barely got any screen time this series and it is all over. Her harmonica playing self is done with and now the attention will be focused on Chisato being kidnapped. At this point I think Hazuki should be the president of this school and send everyone to therapy. They are going to need it!

Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate episode 10

Post number THREE day folks! Go me! Plus I have already started to pack. Yessie I have turned over a new leaf. I will get things done and on time. Why I will even get to work when I am scheduled to be there and not 5 minutes late AKA Tenchi Time. Yessie. A new leaf indeed.
Photobucket
What do you mean you don't know who I am?!
Before everyone passes out from laughter lets get this episode up and posted. XD Up now is Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate episode 10. Spoilers for this show STILL being over the top.
Photobucket
Yuuki slowly realizing that Chisato is a bit fragile.
Episode Summary: Through a series of flashbacks the viewer learns how Chisato and Yuuki became friends. He was having a tantrum on his first day of school and Chisato appeared to give him chocolate and calm him down. This works for a while but Chisato continues to only offer Yuuki the chocolate no matter the situation. One day Yuuki gets upset and refuses the treat. This sends Chisato back to a place where she didn’t want to share chocolate with her brother that ended with him getting hit by a car. Baby Chisato loses her mind and Yuuki accepts the chocolates to calm her down. He promises he is not disappearing and will remain by her side. Back to the present and Chisato is crying her eyes out that Yuuki got hit by a car. He appears a second later totally fine but she clings to him anyway. Yuuki sees Yakumo in the hospital as well but is unable to reach him as Chisato is a part of his arm now. Satsuki runs to the Snack Club to find out what happened to Yuuki. No one seems worried and claim he is okay. He proves this a second later when he appears in the club room with Chisato on his arm. Eventually it is time to go home and Chisato will not let go of his arm to do anything. Not to change, not to eat, not to go to the bathroom. Yuuki gets frustrated and tries to take a shower. He yells at Chisato that he is sorry it happened but he didn’t mean to hurt her. She starts chanting that he is going to disappear and he lied to her. Yuuki hits Chisato because obviously that is the only way to calm a person down. She runs out of the room and returns with a chocolate bar. Yuuki refuses to eat it and says that Chisato doesn’t love him. She is only using him as a replacement for her dead brother. Yuuki says that Chisato needs to eat the chocolate and be with him for him. Chisato attempts to eat the chocolate but throws up. Both spend the night getting no sleep and being miserable.
Photobucket
Well that wasn't odd at all.....
Yuuki goes to school the next day and campaigns with everyone else while Chisato spends the day in bed. Yuuki makes his way to the club room where he finds Michuri and her underwear less self doing something under a table. Yuuki gives back the harmonica that they were playing with before his car accident. He asks who Kana is as it is etched into the instrument. She says that Kana is her friend and she came to the school to find her but can’t. She plays a sad little song on the harmonica and Yakumo runs in looking upset talking about Kana. He covers it up and says he needs to talk to Chisato. When Yakumo learns that Chisato isn’t there he talks to Yuuki about his wanting to help the financial aid students. Yakumo says to drop the subject until after the election. Perhaps then Yuuki can take up his personal..interests if he wins. Yuuki looks pissed. Yuina is seen in the security office talking about how stupid Yakumo is and that she will make sure the election goes the way they (she and the person on the phone) want it to. After all that jazz Yuuki goes to the hospital to get a check up. He runs into a girl who loses her contact lens. I have no idea who she is but if I’m suppose to know her I’m sorry. Yuuki decides to not look for the contact lens as he sees Yakumo going out the back door. Yuuki follows him and hears Yakumo very upset on the phone. Something about abandoning Kana and that wasn’t part of the plan. Yuuki continues his spying and follows Yakumo up to Kana’s room. Yuuki sees the girl…and is immediately clocked in the head. He wakes up handcuffed a chair and looking at Yakumo and his lackeys. Yuuki is forced to confess what he knows (which isn’t much) so Yakumo decides to explain things to the confused boy. See the Safety Commission can’t possibly keep a school that big safe. So they bring in spies to be the eyes and ears of the Safety Commission and find things out before they get too big. Kana was one of Yakumo’s personal spies…as well as Michuri. THE END!
Photobucket
Everyone is miserable YAY!
I swear. I swear folks. Could this show get any weirder? I mean I am sure it could. I worry for Yume now. WORRY DEEPLY! Like maybe he is gay because he was raped by a bunch of women in some sort of gang war and he is afraid of girls or something. I DON’T KNOW! Run Yume!
Photobucket
Um no one cares about Yuuki. Get that through your brain. XD
So spoiler alert from last episode….Yuuki was not hit by the truck. Or he was but it was no big deal. One would think he would have gotten a little hurt. Or maybe he got knocked unconscious by jumping out of the way. But the point is Yuuki is fine, he is made of rubber, and we all knew he was going to be fine by the previews the week before. Good job creating suspense!

While Chisato was a crazy cracker made of wheat and insanity I think maybe she made up for the fact that no one else gave a damn? Well Satsuki did too but she tried to play it cool when she found out the truth. Everyone else was just in the club room chillin. Like wow thanks guys. Can’t you feel the love (tonight) indeed. But yes folks.

Chisato…had a moment this episode. This moment lasted hours it seems and it bordered on a hospital visit for her. I would have been freaking out had I been Yuuki. Like yes Chisato went through something traumatic at a young age and apparently had not gotten therapy or proper care from her parents. But it is Yuuki that was almost hit by a car. It is hard to take care of someone else when it is you who went through the horrible, nearly fatal accident.
Photobucket
A lot of hurting feelings up in here.
But at least we got some answers on why Yuuki seemed to brush Chisato’s affections off. He could have been nicer yes but it is clear why he wasn’t accepting this love. Because to him Chisato really never loved him. He was a replacement for her long lost brother. Perhaps that is why younger Yuuki tried to say no to the chocolate and never said no again because of the melt down. It must have been hard for Yuuki all those years, being the stable force in this girls unstable life. Where are the parents?!
Photobucket
Punching things and screaming...not helping the crazy girl.
That being said don’t slap the girl! She is already fragile as it is. Yes your feelings were hurt and she lost her damn mind but no slapping! Everything else Yuuki said and did was the best he could do but that was uncomfortable. All these things needed to be said. I am not sure if Yuuki saying them sooner would have done much but Chisato has relied on Yuuki in unhealthy ways all these years and adding the new girls into the mix must have pushed her to her breaking point.
Photobucket
Imagine this is Chisato...all day. Alone. :(
Yuuki going to school the next day like nothing happened was weird. I know he has a campaign to run but maybe he could have taken a mental health day with Chisato. And the club could have spun it that Yuuki was hurt protecting someone at school thus getting him more brownie points. It was just weird watching another day of campaigning going on while Chisato was home alone.
Photobucket
At the 11th hour you step up to the plate?
Michuri was…odd this episode. Well we know now why she was crawling on the floor but is there a reason why she doesn’t wear underwear? But yeah she has barely been wallpaper on wall this series let alone a main character. Now we are supposed to care about her? Also I have not heard her talk so much before and her voice annoyed me. Like the annoying little girl over in Sword Art Online. Probably the same voice actress.
Photobucket
When did Michuri become that special?
But yes Michuri can see colors on people and is here to find her friend. I see. I SEE! Maybe if there had been more effort in making Michuri seem important before episode 10 I would care. But I know very little about her and it is almost like she is just in the club…well we know why she is in the club but did anyone else question why she was there? Just odd. A bit too late for an explanation.

Yuina….I don’t know what the crazy person is up to either. She is not really helping out the Safety Commission in trying to regain power next year. She seems to be off doing whatever it is she wants to do. I don’t know about her folks. Me thinks this show should have been 24 episodes long and not 13 if they wanted to have such a huge cast with people with complicated backgrounds. Maybe she isn’t corrupt, she is just a robot clone girl with no feelings ya’ll.
Photobucket
The wording was really off with that I think.
Yakumo was all over the place this episode. I didn’t like how he worded Yuuki’s desire to help the financial aid students as a personal agenda. Like oh yes that is the same thing as politicians making museums named after them. While I understand the logic in trying to get elected by appealing to the most people and putting your not so accepted (but needed) ideas aside….it just seems wrong to me. I am not sure why. But then Yakumo was so upset over something happening to Kana and I felt bad again for him. Not sure what deal he was talking about and maybe I should feel bad for Kana instead but he just seemed upset and not in control. Very unlike Yakumo.
Photobucket
This might be overkill. Slightly.
And then Yakumo has his henchmen knock out and tie up Yuuki. Like you came and found Kana thus you must know all our secrets. This show is such serious business! My eyes were all @__@ the entire time Yakumo was talking. With this show who knows what he was about to say. I was actually afraid that he was going to say something about the financial aid students, that things could get worse for them if Yakumo got involved. Like sex slaves kinda bad.
Photobucket
Undercover agent sounds better.
Yakumo explained that watching over 6,000 students is hard. So they hire people to be spies for them. Now it is unclear if he (they) were hiring adults to play the role of students or if he was just bringing in outside students to enroll in this school. Either way it is a bit X___X. Well maybe not as shady as I thought was going to come out of his mouth. XD Sex slaves indeed. While it must seem pretty…shocking to Yuuki it does make sense. Think of them as uncovered police officers instead of spies.
Photobucket
Oh so the lack of underwear is her way of creating a distraction in case she gets caught. I SEE!
But the episode closed with the most alarming note. That sweet, innocent, and clueless Michuri is a spy. Since she was in the Snack Club before the election we can assume she wasn’t a plant to see if Yakumo would make a good candidate. But yeah. Not sure why she isn’t wearing underwear. But planting mics and being a spy. How much more can Yuuki’s little heart take? Are the two useless girls in the club the real sex slaves? Robots? This is all so weird. Brb hiding Yume before I watch the next episode. I am worried now.

Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate episode 9

Hello there my lovely readers! It is almost time for work. Maybe I will break my leg so I don't have to go. Wait then I can't walk around theme parks...okay maybe left arm instead? I can type with one hand right?
Photobucket
Look at me I am super important and all the girls love me!
But just in case I decide that going to work is better than going to the hospital let me get this episode up and blogged. Up now is Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate episode 9. Spoilers for Chisato being a brat for most of the episode.

Mainly because I was suspended for doing something horrible.
Episode Summary: Chisato has a creepy dream where she is offering her dead brother a chocolate bar. When he doesn’t wake up Chisato startles herself awake from this nightmare. Pretending to be okay Chisato skips over to Yuuki’s room and tells him it is time for the real campaign. Yakumo has pull together all the members of the Safety Commission to update them on the situation. Since they cannot run in this election their best bet is to allow Yuuki to win this one as the ruling party has the best chance of winning. Since Yuuki is an independent SORTA backed by them…it might end well for them. Chisato and Yuuki are running late as they had to print off their flyers. They rush to reach the rest of the group when Yuuki runs into a young lady. He apologizes and introduces himself but she had no idea he was running for student council president. He lays it on thick and Chisato gets pissed about it later. Yuuki then spots Satsuki and Hazuki having a disagreement and Hazuki walking away. Yuuki is confused as he thought they hashed out their problems last night (X___X) but Satsuki is mad because she thought she could have won the shogi game and Yuuki was the prize. Chisato and her jealous self slither up but Satsuki tries to convince Chisato they weren’t talking campaign issues. To make matters worse Hazuki then thanks Yuuki for his help last in making things right.

Hurry! We must make plans now or all will be lost!
Yuuki and Chisato finally reach the rest of the group as they are campaigning when students arrive at school. Nozomi made a stage and it is time to get to work. The other two candidates are set up and doing things to help with their election as well. With the arrival of Hidaka the newspaper…person things are going well for Yuuki. Well until some girls come on over to start picking on Isara. They take her flyers and basically hate on financial aid students. Yuuki rushes to her aid but Chisato pulls Yuuki back, afraid that it will hurt his election chances. Good thing the Safety Commission peoples come around and bust the girls up. Yuuki makes sure that Isara is okay but she says she was more concerned with the Safety Commission. She along with Hazuki and Hidaka explain a situation where a student was basically harassed out of school because the Safety Commission accused her of a crime that she didn’t commit. That eventually lead to the downfall of the Safety Commission who usually has a bad rep for protecting the financial aid students. Everyone agrees that financial aid students rock so Yuuki wants to put in a protection clause into his manifesto.

Are there any nonevil organizations at this school?!
Meanwhile the girl that Yuuki ran into early makes her way to the Safety Commission room, revealing herself to be Yuina, the person the Food Club was just talking about. She was the President of the Safety Commission until she got suspended for this financial student incident. Yuuki is making the rounds visiting other weird clubs. Chisato tells Yuuki not to including helping financial aid students in his speeches as that would hurt the votes. They are in the minority and they can help after the election but not before. Chisato accuses Yuuki of trying to help them because people were praising him for doing the right thing. She then starts crying, saying that Yuuki was leaving her behind. Yuina and Yakumo talk alone in their room. She wants to use Yuuki as a puppet for her own causes but Yakumo explains that Yuuki won’t go for that. Yuina gets super creepy and implies that she might back the general affairs department instead since their interests are similar. Chisato and Yuuki join some of their friends in a celebration of a successful day. After indirectly kissing Michuri Yuuki is teased. He pretends to run away from his friends but a truck rushes by and it appears he may have been hit. Chisato then has a freak out moment as the situation reminds her of her brother. THE END!

You might get more attention that way though...
Well then..that episode was all over the place wasn’t it? Didn’t really focus on one girl. It sorta…hopped around and allowed Yuuki to talk to everyone in an effort to make Chisato lose her mind. Yay for everyone right?

I can see how this would be traumatizing.
Chisato and her dead brother seem to be the underlining focus on this episode. Everything Chisato did or saw made her think about him. In the preview for next week I believe it shows that Chisato was close in age to her brother at the time of his death but that is next weeks drama yes? And I may be wrong. But I guess it doesn’t matter how many years it has been if Chisato hasn’t dealt with the trauma properly. One wonders why she even joined/became president of the Snack Club anyway if the mere mention of chocolate could trigger memories? Out of respect for her brother or out of guilt?
Photobucket
I can only depend on you!!!
Either way all these memories are coming at a faster rate and everything seems to trigger them. This might explain some of Chisato’s…..craziness later. She lost her brother and has relied on Yuuki way too much and the thought of all these other girls talking to her man is a bit too much to bear. She is emotionally unstable and all these other girls are taking away the one thing that keeps her grounded. Still if someone told me a few days ago they weren’t in love with me I might cool it with the jealousy act and be a bit pouty for a while.
Photobucket
Oh hi I am Satsuki and I was in the episode for 5 seconds weee!
I think there are other people in the show, some members of the club…..but I forget their names. They run around powering random pieces of stage lights and generally do nothing. That’s okay, not everyone can be the main characters. XD Got to have some members of the club that aren’t besties with everyone else. But what about Michuri? She is supposed to have love interesting status and I think she has said 20 words so far? What is going on with that? Fade away little cat, fade away.
Photobucket
Yuuki does not believe these changes either.
Nozomi actually made something useful this week so I almost passed out from shock. Yume didn’t do anything sexual or suggestive to Yuuki so maybe HE died of shock and he has been replaced with a clone or something. Hazuki didn’t appear drunk this episode so I am left all dazed and confused people. Dazed and confused.
Photobucket
Does friendship surprise you?
I am not really sure what is up with Hidaka, the newspaper reporter. Do not be suppressed! I would consider that to be dramatic but given what I have seen thus far in this show maybe not so much. Hidaka has decided not to be suppressed into gender roles. Or maybe likes both the uniforms. The issue was not brought up in this episode which is too bad. Perhaps that issue is way too deep for this kind of show, especially with dead brothers and crazy evil baby stealing families taking up a lot of space. I am glad that Hidaka has made friends with the group though. Be accepted!!! Although maybe it is a clue that Yume doesn’t react to Hidaka?

Just leave this school now!
So while Yuuki was passing out flyers Isara’s daily dose of suck was experienced by all. Usually she is picked on in private and that makes sense. Who the heck is stupid enough to bully someone in front of a large group of people? Oh these girls because apparently most of the students at the school don’t care about financial aid students. GOT IT! I don’t want to go on and on about Yuuki doing the right thing because that is what he should have done. Just do the right thing and don’t accept praise or recognition. But when one is in high school and no one else is doing the right thing it can be hard to take that step yourself.
Photobucket
But I am mainly worried about me!
Chisato was a bit disappointing on this issue. Do I understand what she was trying to say? Yes. Yuuki is after the most votes and by supporting an issue most students don’t have a problem with he could alienate a lot of voters. She was right to pull Yuuki back from the argument. She should have pulled the flyers from the girls and guided Isara and Yuuki away. While it wouldn’t have been the best solution at least it would be a nonverbal way of saying I don’t like what you are doing. But then Chisato took it to another level of selfishness. Yuuki is running this campaign to save THEIR club. Take a stand later to get the most votes. Bleh. Bleh indeed. While I understand that gets more votes the part that thinks with my heart says stand tall in what you believe in. But yeah..Chisato crying that she is losing Yuuki because he cares about others is a bit eyerolling.
Photobucket
Don't question my questionable motives!
But let’s rewind a bit about the Isara torture of the week. This time people were punished for picking on a financial aid student, something that Hazuki and Hidaka point out doesn’t happen that often. In terms of….well bullying this was pretty minor. A few stolen flyers and some unkind words? So why now? Oh you mean the Safety Commission has a shady history with protecting people and overstepping their bonds? HMMMM so why come to a financial aid students help now?
Photobucket
Wait so she got in trouble over the student leaving and not the girl who got hit by a car?
Enter Yuina. For some reason Chisato and Yuuki don’t know who Yuina is despite being the true head of the Safety Commission. As Hidaka and Isara tell the tale she threw her power around based on flimsy evidence and caused a student to leave the school. Add in the fact that someone got HIT by a car and Yakumo took the fall? Not sure I understand that. Well if he was aligned with the Safety Commission he is connected to Yuina’s actions but still. Yuina should be the most responsible and yet she is walking around acting like nothing happened.
Photobucket
If not I am backing the other guy!
Or maybe I don’t really understand what happened. Who does Yuina really back up? I got a bit lost on that part. Too many names for me folks. She seems to want to crush Yuuki as he doesn’t support her puppet agenda. That might be going a little too far but what do I know about this crazy show? Let Yuuki be president for a year and plan your take over for next year. Problem solved right? Apparently not. Maybe she wants to get rid of the financial aid students all together and Yuuki might mess that up. Yakumo seems to be stuck in the middle on this issue. Yuina is crazy. Probably.
Photobucket
But Michuri was finally getting attention!
Let me see did I cover everything? Chisato was a crazy jealous person, everyone talked about financial aid students in front of one, and we met Yuina, someone I probably won’t want to meet with in real life. There was a scene with Satsuki but that was mainly just to make Chisato and nothing really important happened there. So until next time….who will suffer next week WEEE! I bet it will be Yuuki and his trip to the hospital because he got "hit" by a truck.
