Kiniro Mosaic episode 12 FINAL EPISODE!

 photo mosaicepisode128_zps6cfd4321.jpg
What do you mean our show is over?!
So much yawn! But I said I was going to get posts done and posts done I shall do!!! I needs to catch up after all. Hopefully before the new season starts so I can see...you know...what the new season will be. And all the comments that might be sitting in my box as we speak. But for now there is sleep because there will be more work tomorrow. WOE IS ME! But for now here is one last post. The last episode for Kiniro Mosaic actually!!! Episode 12. Spoilers for pirates and blond princesses!
 photo mosaicepisode1210_zpsdf30b6b7.jpg
Why don't they care about us?!
Episode Summary: Valentine's Day? Psh!!! It is the first day of the second year for our main characters. Alice has decide this is the best day ever. She is all sparkly and full of life. Shinobu notes the walk to school seems more magical today with the cherry blossoms falling on them. Karen claims the spring day makes her more energetic if that is possible. Everyone is over the top smiling until they reach Aya and Youko. Aya has on sad panda face. She is worried about being split up from her Youko...I mean friend. Alice is like there is no reason to be sad or worried. She crossed an ocean to be with Shinobu, one classroom separating them won't be so bad. Karen tries to point out she had no one in her class all last year but no one cares. They reach the board and Youko is with Alice and Aya is with Karen and Shinobu. Insert sad pandas Alice and Aya. Aya tries to be strong but it doesn't too well. Especially when Youko doesn't realize that Aya is sad over her, not Alice. Aya also has to keep Shinobu in check now that she is around Karen and her lovely locks. Aya tricks herself into believing that everything will be okay. Alice is not having a good day. She literally looks sick and Haruka is worried bunny Alice will die. Youko starts to feel like chopped liver when Alice goes on and on. Karen once again brings up she had no one in her class but she turned out just fine. Alice and Aya ignore her and instead demand to know why Youko and Shinobu aren't upset. Shinobu is like we were an ocean apart once. Alice, it will be okay now. Alice is like oh okay it WILL be okay and they walk home together, memories of this last year filling their minds. THE END!!! or after the credits it jumps back to last year. The girls were talking about something which leads to Alice talking about how she reads hard books. Oh yes it was Karen being a freak by dressing like a manga character she just discovered which embarrassed Aya. But Alice starts talking about this book and how Shinobu has to rub her shoulders as she strains at the hard words. Shinobu decides she wants to be smart like Alice and read her type of books, that they can do things together. Shinobu can't even read one sentence before her brain explodes. She decides if she can't find a reindeer, she'll make one. Aka write her own book. All the girls throw out all sorta of ideas on what she should write. It is decided she should write about...them.

She and Alice are two blond hair princesses that live together and sing. Shinobu sings that her treasure is her blond hair and Alice's treasure is Shinobu. One day pirate Karen and her singing crew arrives to take the treasure. Since Alice's treasure is Shinobu she is kidnapped. Princess Alice cries while real life Alice and Aya get way too emotional about all of this. Like super emotional. On the ship Shinobu is like why can't you go and find treasure somewhere else? Karen sings she has been all over the world and she has grown bored. But maybe with Shinobu by her side it will be fun again. Princess Shinobu agrees only if she can write a letter to Princess Alice first. Real life Alice is like don't leave me!!!! But before Shinobu and pirate Karen can go on any adventures the shop capsizes. Aya and Youko want to be apart of the story too so Princess Shinobu is rescued by Mermaid Aya. She is quiet lovely and Shinobu is so happy. They look up at a random ship that has appeared out of nowhere. The Captain/Prince of the ship is Youko and Aya is in love with her. She sings a happy little song about how they can never be together and she loves him from afar. Youko notices Aya in the water and starts talking to mermaid Aya. Suddenly Pirate Karen and her pirate friends appear again with another pirate ship and start attacking Youko. Mermaid Aya starts crying because there is nothing they can do to stop it. Sea Witch Isami appears out of nowhere as well and Princess Shinobu begs her for help, to make them stop fighting. Isami says she will do it but Shinobu must give up her treasured possession. That ends up being her lovely blond hair. Everyone gasps at this sad revelation. Princess Shinobu cuts her hair, everyone calms down, and they all live happily ever after. Youko looks up and the entire class had been listening with tears in their eyes. Even people in the hallway gasped and listened to the whole story. Sakura has a hard time reaching the classroom! Everyone cries and friendships are wonderful. AS the show ends we see younger Shinobu leaving England and younger Alice is sad. She vows to learn Japanese and go to Japan one day. She writes her letter to Shinobu that she is coming soon. In the present Shinobu and Alice look at the letter and cherish it. THE END!
 photo mosaicepisode127_zpsb30c8ab7.jpg
What a lovely and interesting screenie you picked for this paragraph.
What?! This show is already over?! Oppies. Where does the time go?! That means the new Fall Season is going to start soon. I barely have looked to see what was offered. I did go through it once but not enough to make my finally decisions and certainly not long enough to blog my picks. So much to catch up on.
 photo mosaicepisode123_zps2a77a476.jpg
Well....the fact that Alice is still wearing this uniform is a shock.
But for now this show is over. Sadness for all. And it ended on a weird note. Or a note that I wasn't expecting. I thought there was going to be tears this episode. That is why I thought the pacing was odd. Like we got to get ready to send these British girls back home. We need to have hugs and goodbye parties. Tearful airport pictures. Alice and Shinobu being in their respective new classrooms sighing and missing the other. Then POOF they remember it's the year 2013 and they can talk on the computer. And that is how their friendship continues, with the promise of visits in the future. Maybe.
 photo mosaicepisode124_zps090f9d00.jpg
It is the magic that makes them sparkle.
I was super wrong though. Alice and Karen are staying for another year. Maybe even the whole school career. X___X I was not expecting that indeed. That is a lot of anime magic though. Being allowed to stay that long on a student visa, Shinobu's parents not missing her, and Karen's parents not having to run whatever important business that makes them super rich. All of this doesn't matter. Alice and Karen are staying for another year. Perhaps if this show was a second season we will see tears?
 photo mosaicepisode125_zps1aa898a9.jpg
SO MUCH HAPPINESS!
For now it is time for happiness. Alice is a sparkling glowy mess. Shinobu is always a sparking mess. Like everything is the most fun EVER!! We are eating breakfast YAY!! We are getting ready for school YAY!! We are walking to school together, with Sakura blossoms falling on us and what not. Life is wonderful. We are together. Our future is bright. Come Karen, we will walk to school together, enjoying our first day of being second yearers. Insert sparkles here. All over the place.
 photo mosaicepisode126_zpsa5f89929.jpg
Woe is my luck.
Aya was not full of sparkles. She was full of doom and gloom. Both of these over the top responses were correct. Now when I started a new year I was nervous. Because we got our class schedule before school started. We already knew if we were separated or not. In Japan it works differently. So Aya was taking on the pessimistic point of view. Like we will be separated and life is horrible. How can you guys be so happy? Alice and Shinobu were looking on the bright side of life (lalasong). At least we can go to school together. We aren't separated by an ocean weeee!
 photo mosaicepisode1211_zps271e4dc0.jpg
Ain't no one caring about you Karen!
Until the actual list was seen. Then Alice joined Aya in the woe is me face. I think the girls were pretty lucky. Maybe this is a smaller school/town but my graduating class had 360 I think. Maybe 350. So yeah it wouldn't have been better two classrooms. So yeah it wouldn't have been between two classrooms. Isn't it usually 5 in most animes? So really each girl could have been separated had it been like that. Be grateful you at least got one person each? What happened to that ocean thing?
 photo mosaicepisode129_zpsf8589cc4.jpg
Because I am dying maybe?
While Alice and Aya were both pretty much miserable Aya took it better than I thought. While being around Youko embarrasses her the idea of not having the girl around seems worse. I think Aya was more upset that Youko wasn't as upset. Like hello. We have been together for a while now, you were basically my first friend, can you please care? But instead of being observant like she usually is Youko was like Aya misses Alice what? Alice on the other hand lost her damn mind. Which is what I was expecting. Imagine if this had happened last year. Like I flew across the ocean to be with you Shinobu and now we are in different classes. Woe is my soul. :( Life will never be the same. I need to go to the clinic. I have no reason to live. Youko is chopped liver.
 photo mosaicepisode1212_zpsb711a6f5.jpg
Just be happy we get a second year together? XD
In the end Shinobu just repeated that they all should be happy they are going to school together and Karen and Alice aren't in England. That it could be worse. Karen tried to point this out several times, that she was all alone last year. Only it was brushed over rather fast and I might have been amused. I don't think Aya and Alice are over the moon happy but they are in better spirits. It will be okay. We can see each other after class and during lunch. Let us all think back to how much fun last year was and that this year will be just as amazing. THE END!
 photo mosaicepisode1213_zps2feab017.jpg
Do you have the crazies again?
Not. X___X We still have half an episode left. What to do what to do? Rewind the clock and show something silly from last year?! I see indeed. I am sure there were tons of fun moments to pick from. But this last tidbit was about Alice and her reading ability. Well it was about Karen and her weird fashion sense at first. But like always Karen is a blip on the radar and the main story is someone else. I don't know why Alice is reading such hard books. Or why Shinobu can't read at all. XD Maybe they should start with some light novels? Just a suggestion of course.
 photo mosaicepisode1214_zpsca06cad0.jpg
Reading is hard!
Shinobu can't take the easy way out of course. She has to blow her brain trying to be like Alice. And when that doesn't work....she will write her own book. I can't help but notice there was no writing. Or recording of anytime. So I am not sure how this story will repeated for their enjoyment in the future. Not that it matters. They can retell it in their minds over and over again, making crazy little changes here and there. Oh to be in high school and have tons of free time doing silly things.
 photo mosaicepisode1216_zps00e935ca.jpg
How can you not be sentimental over this amazinginess?!
So what was the Shinobu story about? Blonds!!! Of course. And all her friends. Was there any doubt? It was kinda....weird how everyone was taken in by this story. And I mean EVERYONE. Youko and Aya. Of course Alice. Karen. The kids in the classroom. The kids walking by. Shinobu made up a song off the top of her head and everyone was really moved. I thought there would be some eye rolling. Yes what we SAW was funny but Shinobu was telling a basic story borrowing a lot of ideas from other stories. Everyone is just so silly and sentimental.
 photo mosaicepisode1215_zpsdf0d3c16.jpg
Shinobu really loves blond hair....
The story itself was all over the place. Shinobu made herself a blond and Alice of course was her companion. And they sang. Everyone sang. It sorta made me laugh that Shinobu's greatest treasure was herself. XD Well her hair anyway. And Shinobu was like I love YOU Shinobu. Only Shinobu was okay with being kidnapped by Pirate Karen when Karen was slightly nice to Shinobu. I will write you Alice, see you later. I thought Pirate Karen was the best character. Her and her amazing reappearing ship.
 photo mosaicepisode12_zps4ae37dc1.jpg
BTW I love you Youko. In case you couldn't tell.
Aya was a mermaid which was fine and dandy. Almost like she was the little mermaid. Singing about her prince....Youko on the ship. The story was moving a little fast so Youko noticed them immediately and started to sing back. Should have proposed to her. XD Pirate Karen came back to fight with another ship (magic) and everyone was like we shouldn't be fighting at all. Isami is a witch....interesting. I thought it might have been funnier had Shinobu changed her mind and said Alice was her greatest treasure so she could have kept her long hair. Either way though it was a OH NO moment. That Shinobu. Giving up her wonderful hair forever so everyone can be okay. What an amazingly crazy story.
 photo mosaicepisode122_zpsffdbae62.jpg
Time for you to wrap up this show.
And that is about it for this little series. The show wrapped up with younger Alice learning Japanese soon after younger Shinobu left. Writing the letter that she was on her way to Shinobu. And that is how this crazy show started. Crazy little slice of life show about cute girls having fun. There might have been some educational things going on. I think Alice and Karen should have had a more difficult time speaking Japanese but meh. It is what it is. The fun times were silly and the down times....were silly too. Wish we could have had more personal one on one time with the girls but they liked to stay in a big group. I really enjoyed watching this show so I guess it is a success? It shall be missed...unless there is a season two. Because obviously Japan is so wonderful Alice and Karen are never going back home! XD

Kiniro Mosaic episode 11

 photo mosaicepisode1113_zpsa3d451a0.jpg
My name is Karen and I do what I want!
....Technically it is still Thursday until I go to bed. That is how my life rolls. So I can still post anime episodes and they count as me doing them on Thursday. Because I said so!!! So without further adieu...Kiniro Mosaic episode 11. Spoilers for really lame rocks.
 photo mosaicepisode1110_zpse773f4d7.jpg
Are you saying they are creepy?!
Episode Summary: Shinobu informs the girls she would like to have a Christmas party. After the shock of Youko wearing clothes they think about this idea. They ask Alice how she celebrates Christmas in England. As Alice explains Youko and Aya realize....they might celebrate it totally differently. They semi apologize and they walk on to school. Karen greets them warmly with a Santa costume and they semi ignore her. Alice asks Shinobu what she wants and is touched by the answer. Alice wants to spend the day together too with all their friends. Karen has decided she wants tons of presents for Christmas but most of all love. Aya is like I want a Christmas love too!! Alice asks Teacher Sakura if she is spending the day with her boyfriend but Sakura reveals she is attending mass. Impressive. Once they arrive at home Shinobu and Alice set to work hanging up Christmas lights. When night falls the entire street lights up as all the neighbors participate too. Soon it is time for the Christmas party. No one really cares with Shinobu wears her Santa costume because she is always dressed weird. Alice talks to her parents back at home, who wanted her there for Christmas. But Alice wanted to spend the day with Shinobu which seems to touch her and scare Isami. There might have been some other fun but the party ends fast. Karen goes home to spend time with family whereas Aya gets her hopes and dreams smashed because Youko thinks a couple's Christmas is old fashion. Shinobu wants to wait until it is actually Christmas to exchange presents. Alice is so beyond happy. She gifts Shinobu a teddy bear. Shinobu gives her...a rock. A rock from England. Alice is crushed until Isami gives her Shinobu pictures from the party.
 photo mosaicepisode1115_zpsa8474b43.jpg
Nope. No kidding for you.
New Year's Eve arrives and Alice is worried about her first dream for the year. Isami wakes up in the middle of the night because Alice is screaming and Shinobu slept through it. At school Aya is telling Youko she often dreams of her and kimono wearing Karen says she dreamed that something bad happened to Alice. A sad Shinobu walks up and says something bad happened to Alice. Alice walks up wearing a lot of British attire and talking in English, all about England. Everyone is like X___X as Shinobu states that Alice has lost her memories of speaking Japanese. Shinobu is so upset as Alice continues this act. She tries to make the best of it but learns that saying HELLO over and over again is not enough to carry on a conversation. She enlists Karen and Sakura to see what Alice is saying. Afterwords they conclude it is Shinobu's fault. After another failed attempt of Shinobu trying to understand English Alice explains what is going on. Her first dream of the year was a nightmare. Alice was helping Shinobu out when Shinobu realizes that Alice is too Japanese for her liking. Alice was just so upset she tried to become more British so Shinobu won't leave her. Shinobu is like you might be more Japanese now but I still love you. It is a tender moment so Karen declares she wants to be a samurai. Soon graduation is upon the older kids and the group realizes that soon they will be second yearers. The episode ends with some random scene where everyone is family and Alice is the dog. THE END!
 photo mosaicepisode11_zpse354aa6e.jpg
Here is the end of the episode that I forgot about weeee!
Merry Christmas one and all! Thought this episode was coming a few back. Now the “end” will be rushed. But yes finally it is December/January. Christmas and brief New Year's eve antics for all. Although I didn't see any buckets of KFC. :(
 photo mosaicepisode113_zpse71ec65e.jpg
Well let me tell you how different things are....
First things first. I love how Alice was like...this is how Christmas really is. Okay maybe she as nicer than that. She was more like this is how we celebrate it back home, you know with remembrance of our religion and Jesus' birthday. It looks like Aya and Youko had no idea that this is where Christmas stems for. Just...their version of Christmas in Japan is very different. Since this is my religion....I guess...it would be proper to celebrate Christmas one day and for those who don't practice this religion to have a Winter Holiday not called Christmas you know? But then again there are plenty of people in Western countries that don't practice my religion and do Christmas up with only Santa. It is what it is I suppose. At least Alice wasn't super disappointed and the girls seemed respectful. Had Alice pushed for her version of Christmas I am sure the girls would have done that too.
 photo mosaicepisode115_zps886f74d4.jpg
Who do you love Karen?!
Traditions are different for different cultures. So perhaps that was the point of this show. Like you have your way and I have my way. Respect and growth. The girls could have explained more to Alice what Christmas was like in Japan. But maybe since no one had a boyfriend most of it didn't apply. For once Aya got into something a little hard core. Like I want a Christmas love!!! So does Karen but I am sure she would spot a butterfly and wish for that instead. No no, Aya has one love on her mind.
 photo mosaicepisode117_zps2034c3a2.jpg
I only decorate inside trees. Sorry.
Since there are no couples and these girls are the best of friends....it is party time. Bring out the decorations. Did you enjoy the anime magic that everyone on Shinobu's street had some kinds of lights up? Psht like neighbors could ever come together to do something on a united front. But maybe it was peer pressure. HMMMMM peer pressure. Alice and Shinobu did a nice job though. Like whoa they even got them on the second floor. Pretty impressive for a bunch of shorties. Yay for making it look nice.
 photo mosaicepisode118_zps41cb468e.jpg
Have more lights since I took no pics of Santa costumes.
Poor Shinobu. No one really cared about her Santa costume. But it is true, she is always wearing something out there so how is this any different? I have noticed in animes it is either Santa or nothing. No elves? Sadness. Karen seems to love a good costume too. Like something special is today? I shall don this costume because I am rich. Click click Isami. No Aya in a costume though. Because we are lucky she showed up given her nervous nature.
 photo mosaicepisode119_zps9b7c22d4.jpg
But since I love you more than the people that raised me here I am!!!!
The girls didn't do much on Christmas Eve. Needs more cake. I am sure they were disappointed that Sakura didn't have a date. She was getting her mass on (bring a sweater). They are young girls and want to live vicariously through someone else. But they did manage to have some fun. Slice of life and simple fun indeed. I did note that there was more random moments/shorts in this episode. Almost like the writers had too many cute moments in their head and wanted to stick them in, even if they don't apply to the situation. XD
 photo mosaicepisode1111_zpsbe11c625.jpg
What kind of present is this!??!
Shinobu....that was an awful present. Like for real it was Alice had her little heart set on something amazing. Like no no, we must wait until Christmas proper to open presents. Let the anticipation grow. Now I know technically and politely no one has to give you a present. And if they do it should be received with grace. But it was a rock. A rock from England. Maybe even from Alice's yard. Like what the hell?! That's like getting me a brochure for Disney World. Like thanks. Maybe for someone who doesn't live in Florida or goes to the park a lot might cherish it. Which is fine. But don't give me something you got for free and has no meaning to me. Like what the hell a rock?! At least paint a face on it. And take back that bear Alice. Stupid Shinobu.
 photo mosaicepisode1112_zps99c6c184.jpg
Can you sleep through anything?
For the most party New Year's Eve/Day was glossed over. I don't think the girls as a group spent the day together. It was touched on though. Each culture has different superstitions and for Japan and maybe other Asian cultures the first dream of the year is super important. Like how the rest of the year will be. Pressssssure. Bad news for me. I always seem to have the most rotten nightmares. But Alice had an awful one. It wasn't explained right away but I think it was more alarming that Alice screamed like that and Shinobu slept through it. I know who I don't want on my zombie apocalypse team now....not that she would have made the cut otherwise.
 photo mosaicepisode1116_zps5680016b.jpg
HMMMM I can see how that can be scary....
So what WAS this epic nightmare? Shinobu realized one day that Alice wasn't what she dreamed of. Or her image of what an English girl should be. She has been in Japan too much, too long. She is no longer a cute little British girl. She has been infected by Japanese traditions. Shinobu leaves her behind, off to find other blond girls who are more lovely than Alice. So for Alice...this was the worst nightmare ever. Especially since the first dream of the year is so important.
 photo mosaicepisode1114_zpsf2f70b22.jpg
And what does that have to do with anything?
How did Alice handle this dream? By acting insane. Like everyone in the show. She refused to speak Japanese. Only English for her. She also upped the British attire. Since Shinobu is special she assumes that Alice has forgotten Japanese. The other three girls had varying degrees of what the heck?!?! Like I don't know if they believed she forgot but they knew something was up. It would have been more entertaining had Alice been saying things that made sense. I understand she was talking about England as that is what Shinobu likes. But yeah I think it would have been funnier if Alice had been explaining what she was doing. Like um hello dream Shinobu made me do it.
 photo mosaicepisode112_zps4af58705.jpg
Also Youko wore clothes this episode. As opposed to every other episode?
In the end the girls fetch English speaker Karen and semi English speaker Sakura. Together they solve the mystery and blame Shinobu. Like you and your obsession did this. Or maybe Alice just snapped over that crappy gift. It all worked out though. You know, because Alice still has blond hair even if she lost some of her British edge. I watched this two weeks ago so I might have forgotten...a lot...or everything. GO ME!

Kiniro Mosaic episode 10

I smelled the worst, most vile thing of all times today folks. Well probably not but at this point in my life it ranks number 1 in MOG did something die and fall in poop and set on fire and sent to me to be cleaned? It was....awful. So awful I threw it in a buggie and locked said buggie in the bathroom until I could through a frebreeze bomb at it. And the man who brought in said disaster LAUGHED when an customer and I started gagging over the smell. It was that bad folks.
 photo mosaicepisode102_zpsd9413065.jpg
How is it already Wednesday?!
Now that my head has stopped hurting...it's time for bed! Okay okay. I need to get on the anime posting and the blog post catching up and house cleaning folks! Wednesday will be the day of getting stuff done! Hopefully...maybe...YES! But for now here is Kiniro Mosaic episode 10. Spoilers for...I forgot since I typed this so long ago? Bad Tenchi. :(
 photo mosaicepisode104_zpsdd443b50.jpg
Um I was walking to the bathroom about 10 minutes ago Alice....
Episode Summary: Sakura is walking through the hallways, thinking about her amazing life and amazing students. But then she ends up in the wrong classroom and gets super embarrassed. Later when she does find her right classroom she feels bad for giving Shinobu a bad grade on her English test and gives her an A for effort. She puts up with Youko being a cut up in class, Aya being a basket case, and Alice going on and on about Shinobu. While talking to Shinobu Sakura senses the evil eye from Alice. She is distracted and this allows for Youko to scare her and drop her paperwork. A picture of her pet rabbit pops out but Sakura is too embarrassed to say its name. The subject of nicknames comes up and Karen wants one. Until she realizes how dumb it would be. Alice keeps on stalking Sakura and glaring at her when she talks to Shinobu. Eventually Sakura has to work up enough courage via stuffed animals to confront Alice about it. Karen says she likes Sakura...but clearly Shinobu is hers and she best be steppin. The girls eventually evaluate the other picture that Sakura dropped in the scare, a picture of her in a school girl outfit. Everyone thinks it is weird to carry around...when Sakura runs up and explains it was taken at a cosplay party this year. XO Shinobu and Alice are watching TV watching the horoscope stuff. Alice has a super unlucky prediction whereas Shinobu is supposed to be lucky. The girls are nearly killed a million ways on their way to school. Sakura is also having a rough day, having walked into the wrong classroom again and ruined a surprise.
 photo mosaicepisode106_zpsf8fb9acf.jpg
A nickname for Karen....hmmm....
The girls decide that they are going to play baseball. Only Karen assigns everyone fluff rolls and Youko is the only one who has an actual role. I hate baseball and they play it for a while. Karen eventually requests to go to the book store after baseball where she gets a manga, Alice tries to read books that make her more intelligent/Japanese, and Shinobu gets a bad horoscope for the rest of the month. There is some talk about blood types which makes Aya blush. The weekend is upon the girls and Alice is determined to wake people up at the crack of down to make them have fun. Over coffee it is discussed how much Shinobu was willing to sell Alice for. Karen has decided to venture out alone today and is skippin along when she spots a white cat. She chases the thing all over and eventually ends up lost. She calls Shinobu for directions but ends up only talking about the cat. Aya nearly has a heart attack at the idea of calling Youko to do something. She hangs up on Youko but Youko abandons her creepy siblings to go shopping with Aya. After Shinobu changes into some special clothes she and Alice leave the house. They run into Aya, Youko, and a dirty Karen. They sit and talk for a little while but they eventually go on their separate ways, promising to do more next week. At the end of the episode Sakura finds the cat as well and takes after it. THE END!
 photo mosaicepisode103_zpsed2b7e65.jpg
Where is my A for effort?!
Oh silly slice of life shows. Oh silly teachers. Clearly I need to build a time machine and go back to my high school days. I needed to have more fun!! And more money it appears. Give me an allowance back in time parents!
 photo mosaicepisode108_zps424bb534.jpg
Enjoy your surprise?
What happened first? Oh we got a fun teacher who loves her students. Not all of her students mind you. Just the main characters. Everyone else doesn't matter. XD It seems we don't get a very large array of choices when it comes to teachers. They are usually no one at all, super harsh, or super sweet/involved. XO Teachers are people too!!?? They come in different personalities?! Adults don't making stop making mistakes or being clumsy?! Poor Ms. Sakura. Ruining her fellow teacher's surprise. Oh the embarrassment.
 photo mosaicepisode105_zps3b7fa4a7.jpg
Well...at least she didn't scare Aya? She might have died.
XO What's with scaring her though? She is already fluffy in the head. And being trapped by Alice going on and on about Shinobu. Now we got to sneak up on her and steal her pictures? I see some girls that need some discipline! XO I thought it was a super cute she named her rabbit Alice. I mean.....there is a rather important rabbit in Alice in Wonderland if she wanted to use that excuse. I mean Alice gets harassed worse by Shinobu. But stealing Sakura's other picture? FOR SHAME! And I feel for you Sakura. At first I thought it was a bit creepy of her to be carrying around a picture of her in high school. But this is a new picture? I so feel you Sakura. Forever 21 indeed.
 photo mosaicepisode107_zps37a54cda.jpg
See? Buried.
Sakura and Alice might have semi buried the hatchet. Because Alice was getting a little creepy there. A lot creepy. And Sakura doesn't seem that brave to begin with. She had to practice her conversation on inanimate objects. But can you blame her? Those eyes...always watching. Always watching. But now Sakura knows that Alice likes her. Just touch her Shinobu and die.
 photo mosaicepisode1010_zps7938f13b.jpg
As they die...
This episode wasn't all about Ms. Sakura though. Some of it was about the other girls. What did I think about the horoscope bit? That it was a bit special. As is much of what the girls do of course. XD I won't lie though...sometimes that kinda interests me too. I will stop to read mine. If it applies it is amazing. If it doesn't I hate it and obviously everything is fake. But you still want to know, because hey it's fun and entertaining. Like with fortune cookies. Shinobu and really Alice has to take it to a whole new level though. The street that Shinobu lives on is dangerous yo! I have never heard of a lucky color before though....
 photo mosaicepisode109_zps035ccdc9.jpg
Her face?
When typing up this episode a million years ago I almost forgot about the baseball. Probably because I don't like it? XD I kid I kid. Okay no I don't. This part of the episode was rather special though. Karen always has these grand ideas on what to do for fun. You a cheerleader. Be a manager. So...who is left to play ball? No one. That is my kind of ball. XD And at least Alice hit the ball. Even if it was a foul ball. I couldn't do that. Yay exercise for 5 seconds weee.
 photo mosaicepisode1013_zps14bed91b.jpg
Poor Shinobu couldn't wear a fabulous outfit to the bookstore. :(
After a weeks worth of exercise it was time for the book store. So lovely...wish they had more translated mangas when I was in Japan. But why should they though? XD Silly me. So you go and get your new manga Karen. I remember the days when I was like WOOHOO time to go to Books a Million and get my brand new stuff. Alice...you had a cross word puzzle book that was cute. I don't think it was that childish Ms. Tea Ceremony.

Too early!!!!!
There was some blood type talk that is lost upon the nonJapanese blogger. I know it is important to some cultures but not me. XD But I guess that is like the horoscope thing. But behold it is the weekend and Alice sucks. WAKE UP SHINOBU! Wake up sister. Wake up world. Like um no it is time to sleep. People get up early throughout the week and most use the weekend to catch up on sleep. To store it in their eternal clock. Because that is how sleep works. So let them sleep girl. You didn't have plans at this point anyway.
 photo mosaicepisode1012_zps4f2bd997.jpg
....Well at least she made it hope safely.
Karen is a very special girl. Very special indeed. The kind where it is cute when you see it in an anime but if she was real it would be scary. Lala I am going on a walk. Lala I am going to follow a cat. Lala I am lost. Lala I am going to call my friends for help and tell them I found a white cat. Oh Karen. Oh Karen indeed. So very special. At least she was having fun though. But how did she get so dirty by the end of the episode?
 photo mosaicepisode1014_zps3e643e2f.jpg
Oh you didn't even get friended. You got sistered.
Aya...Aya can be sad. Like Karen but in the opposite way. She can't even call her best friend to go out for the day without breaking down into crazy nerves. This girl needs help! But I guess since this is a show this can be cute...maybe. At least Youko is there to take care of her. Even if she did just want to escape the house because she has creepy siblings.
 photo mosaicepisode1015_zps8348573b.jpg
Thanks Aya, we weren't trying to have a good time or anything.
The episode ends with all the girls meeting up at the train station, saying hi,....and going their separate ways. I actually liked that. Like look we are all friends and it is fun to do things all together as a group...sometimes. But other times a few want to do this, one wants to do that, and a couple want to do this. They don't have to do things together all the time. Sometimes that gets a little too unrealistic, even for anime. XD So yeah I liked how the girls said hello and kept on keeping on. One on one time is important folks. You get to know a person better and what not. So yay for having fun weekends. Onward....to either Christmas or New Year's Eve? Finally!!! XD

Kiniro Mosaic episode 9

 photo mosaicepisode96_zps0f5c164b.jpg
A lot of my anime posts are brought to you by snacks.
Weee post number three of the night! Kira is certainly not helping the process. She has discovered the plastic throwaway part of the crouton bag and claimed it for herself. I don't know why I bother buying toys. Putting Kira aside here is more anime. Up now is Kiniro Mosaic episode 9. Spoilers for no Titans eating Aya's sad little face.

The story of Aya's life. No one pays attention chapter 3.
Episode Summary: The girls are walling home from school when Aya actually speaks up. Her parents are out of town so she has the house to herself. When no one says anything Aya gets all desperate and needy. Youko is like okay crybaby we will have a sleepover. Alice super over packs for the trip so Isami and Shinobu have to help her out. They go to pick up Karen where Shinobu is shocked to see how rich Karen's family really is. Aya is waiting outside like an insane person and greets the three girls warmly. Turns out she has been waiting outside the entire time and has gotten chilly. Poor lonely Aya. Youko eventually comes bearing snacks so Aya decides they should make dinner. Everyone helps in their own way, including Karen and Alice smashing eggs on their heads. They are forced to take a bath which causes Shinobu to have a potential nose bleed. They eventually emerge egg free and the meal is super edible despite Aya having made it. Shinobu then realizes her mom made them the exact same dinner. Aya is then ignored at her own slumber party as they want to tell scary stories. In the morning the girls have different levels of tired while Aya cooks. Aya goes to brush down Youko's bedhead but slaps Youko away when she (Youko) goes to do the same thing to Aya. They walk to school and Aya seems to hold back. She watches Karen intensely and confronts the girl. When Youko tries to join in Aya drags Karen away and confesses she and Youko had a terrible fight and that she wants to be more like Karen. Karen decides to take Aya under her wing and gives her some insane tips. Broken English and what not. Aya tries these things out and they really don't work for her. People think she is just a fruitcake.

Oh Aya....just poor Aya all over the place.
Alice and Shinobu are told of this drama and Karen is like...but I like Aya being Aya! Being Aya is a good thing. Aya is like awwww until Karen gives her one last mission to make up with Youko. It turns into a shopping trip to the stationary store. Aya confesses she feels bad about the slap away moment this morning. Youko is like...that's why you were upset crazy?!?!? They buy friendship notebooks which touches Aya.....but Youko ruins it by the next day. After school one day it is decided the girls should play hide and seek. Youko ends up being the seeker. Karen hides in the countdown room and is quickly found. Aya is in the library and having flashbacks to when she was left at school during hide and seek once. Aya gets super jealous when Youko walks in with Karen and reveals herself. Alice is just sitting in the art room drawing and falls asleep. Their homeroom teacher finds her and assumes Shinobu murdered her until Alice gets up. They barely hide behind a table together. Outside Youko talks about how Shinobu is the best hider ever since she can erase her presence. Aya then uses Karen to trick Shinobu out of hiding. They then go look for Alice and due to their teacher being taller they spot her. The teacher then gives Alice away and all the girls are goobers. They walk home happy. Karen then wants to play tag and the girls are like okay bye time for real. THE END!

Karen is blinded by the sparkles!
So much sparkly love. Such friendships. Such fun times. Oh you slice of life shows. You give me such cavities. But in a good way.
 photo mosaicepisode914_zps92888f1d.jpg
XO Oh poor Aya!!!!
I don't know if Aya is super cute and I want to hug her (in a exploitative way) or if I should shelter her from the world and feel bad for her. Maybe she was expecting her friends to invite themselves over or something. Just she said oh I am all alone and no one even blinked an eye. Poor Aya has such a shyness about her she can't even ask her friends to spend the night and have fun. I know it's supposed to be cute and moe but it is almost like she is crippled by shyness. I can't even hug her or she would die from shock.
 photo mosaicepisode93_zps6db5575f.jpg
But words are hard!
So it turns out that Alice is my friend who recently went to Disney on our trip. That is about how much my friend would have packed for one night or a trip to the zoo. Poor excited Alice. I bet she was prepared for anything? Aya was...well “excited” too. More like nervous. Either wait inside for your friends or wear a jacket while you are being insane. Oh and Karen is super rich. Like out of this world rich. So how were she and Alice neighbors? I guess we never saw Karen's property or land...So really the only one being normal way Youko. Maybe Shinobu since her didn't look that bad.
 photo mosaicepisode99_zps4dcf0a38.jpg
Um...yeah. That is hard core dinner there people.
Oh you brought snacks Youko? Let's make dinner!!!! In honor of spending the night and having fun they should have ordered in. Pizza of much expensiveness for all. Or at least just eat all the crap lying around the house. Ice cream and what not. Instead these girls were having a gourmet meal they prepared themselves. Did you see that food?! Maybe I am just impressed because they were cooking and I HATE cooking. So this slice of life show is meant to show everyone in Japan that they need to embrace their youth more and that cute girls need to be amazing cooks.
 photo mosaicepisode98_zps1fa79da6.jpg
What is this?!?!? X__X You girls....
Since there was no pizza and cooking there had to be drama. Cute drama. I am not sure why Karen and Alice wanted to smash eggs on their heads. I see lots of things on TV but I don't copy them. How did they think this was going to end? With bath time and Shinobu having a nose bleed. I think I would have cooked like Youko and just eyeballed it. Looks good to me. Oh and Shinobu with her food. My mom made this for us and I shall remember it after we are done making and eating the same thing.
 photo mosaicepisode910_zps075e6241.jpg
Can I have the chicken plushie please?
I think that Aya's friends need to give her a little slack. Just for one night anyway. Aya on the whole can be...well you need delicate hands for her. But this was her house and she invited them over because she was feeling lonely. So going in another room and telling ghost stories and leaving Aya all aline...that was low guys. :( Aya is a delicate flower. Poor lonely Aya talking to her stuffed animals. Although I saw no Duffy in that scene.
 photo mosaicepisode911_zps4b94ccae.jpg
LOOK AT THIS BIG DEAL!
The next day was a bit weird. Everyone had sleepy faces except Aya because she is perfect. Youko was going to touch Aya the same way Aya was going to touch Youko but clearly that is insanity. Aya draws back and is a little swatty. But in the grand scheme of things I don't think it was that big a deal. I didn't realize until the end of the episode that this was the fight Aya was referring to. Oh Aya. She really is....special. But yeah I didn't know that is why Aya was so upset.
 photo mosaicepisode912_zpsf599839c.jpg
To be fair Aya was pretty....emotional.
I think either Karen misunderstood Aya or Aya wasn't explaining herself well enough. But Aya wanted to be like Karen in certain aspects of her life. Not I ant to be Karen in every aspect of her life. She just wanted to be a braver person, a more outgoing person. Maybe someone who doesn't shake like a leaf at the mere thought of something unpleasant.
 photo mosaicepisode913_zps6ba9ca56.jpg
That will surely fix the fight with Youko!
Instead Karen was like okay this is how to be me. Speak in broken Japanese. Even though you are 100 percent Japanese. Do other random stuff that has noting to do with being brave or outgoing. I am your Mater, do not question my will. Here, have a union article of clothing. That will make you more Karen like.
 photo mosaicepisode915_zps1832dde7.jpg
Okay maybe Youko was a lot dramatic too.
In the end the girls (Youko and Aya) were able to come together and understand each other. Aya feels good about how brave she was, being all adult like talking about problems. Youko was like that is why you have been so weird? But then again Youko was a little dramatic too, saying she thought Aya hated her. I thought Youko was just chalking this up to Aya being weird but clearly her feelings were a bit hurt too. But now they have solidified their bond with notebooks Youko usually hates. Aya is touched until Youko ruins the notebook 5 seconds later. Such is life kids!
 photo mosaicepisode917_zps24e98181.jpg
Don't leave me behind! You didn't even look!
There was quite a bit of episode left after the closing song. Like whoa there is much more to see. It was ….a bit special though. I twas the girls playing hide and seek. None of them did a really good job. Karen actually hid in something but it was in the starting room where Youko could have heard. Aya and Alice were simply in rooms. Shinobu probably had the best hiding spot but since she is Shinobu she gave herself away. Overall I liked Aya thinking about prior hide and go seeks gone wrong and freaking out the best. But yeah. Weird game all together.
 photo mosaicepisode9_zpsa7a925c5.jpg
You ruined hide and seek, now you owe us Christmas cake!
So I think that's about it for this episode. For once in the past three weeks I haven't been slammed for 6 hours straight at work. Watch I jinxed myself. At least I got this whole thing blogged. XO Even if I was wrong about it being Christmas/New Year's Eve time...until next episode.
