Accel World episode 19: Enter Voltron!

WEEEE! Moving right along in the catching up on posts train. Maybe because it is a little quiet without the husband. Kira the amazing cat is trying to make up for all the quiet by running around the house and creating scary noises for me to freak out about. I have the best cat ever apparently.

Since Kira can't read or write I will have to blog all these episodes myself. Psht silly cat not pulling her own weight around her. LAZY! But up now is Accel World episode 19. Spoilers for information at the speed of fast!

This makes me feel really bad for Crikin. :(

Episode Summary: Kuroyuki listens to Crikin’s story, about how he came to live in Okinawa and become a binge drinker. His parents got a divorce and he was shipped off to this island (because Japan is NOT an island ya’ll) and there was not one Brain Burster around. He eventually gave the program to Ruka and she was able to become a Burst Linker. They then gave the program to Mana and it worked as well. So it was just the three of them earning points very slowly. Until this monster showed up. Before Kuroyuki could wish him good luck the dragon monster appears. Crikin explains that an avatar is riding the dragon yet no name shows up on the challenge board. Kuroyuki fails to mention this connection to Nomi because she is too busy figuring everything else without any clues at all. She is like AHA you (Sulfur Pot) are using hack programs to appear in Okinawa even though you are probably in Tokyo. Oh and you are doing this so you can farm low level monsters with the big legions seeing you. Sulfur Pot is like PSHT I am going to beat you two up! Ruka and Mana are set to gather metal while Kuroyuki beats up on the dragon. Turns out the tamed monster has an ultimate attack bar too and they must contend with that. Soon all the metal is gather and Crikin morphs into Voltron. No joke. He beats on the dragon and Sulfur Pot and appears to win…but Sulfur Pot and dragon have a combine attack that catches the air on fire. Voltron is destroyed and all hope seems lost even though Kuroyuki is okay.

This sounds really important. Write this down Kuroyuki!

Megumi enters the lounge where Ruka, Mana, and Kuroyuki are plugged in. Megumi goes to unplug Megumi when a younger version of Megumi appears and tells her to log in instead. So she does…as some sorta magical girl avatar person. Instantly Kuroyuki knows it is Megumi. Megumi tells Kuroyuki she will protect her and uses her attack to change the battlefield to the ocean, making the dragon and Sulfur Pot pretty useless. Megumi then disappears for some reason. Crikin sinks to the bottom but Mana and Ruka turn into mermaids and trap their enemies in a twister. Kuroyuki separates the dragon from Sulfur Pot so the dragon eats said Sulfur Pot. After the battle Crikin gives Kuroyuki the magical item that dropped from the dragon, the reigns, saying she will need them one day. Kuroyuki waits in the game for Sulfur Pot to regenerate so she can kick his ass and do some questioning. Soon Megumi and Kuroyuki leave the island and all her new friends wish her off, saying they want to see her again one day. Megumi is just lalalaing all over the bus so Kuroyuki explains that Megumi woke up in the café without remembering what happened. So…Kuroyuki decides that she won’t question if or when Megumi was a Burst Linker. She figures that something happened to the girl and will let her explain in her own time. Kuroyuki thinks about this new group of people, hopefully implying that Nomi and Sulfur Pot are a part of the same group. Kuroyuki and Megumi smile and play around on the bus, thinking about the presents they bought each other on the island. THE END!

What?! You didn't think we were magical?! :(

So…I think a while back I said a certain episode was my least favorite episode of the series but held the right to change my mind. I do remember saying that all the episodes up to that point were really good and that episode was just okay. Well I can safely say this episode was worse. Way worse.

I thought he was talking about some kind of Facebook game. XD

I kinda feel bad because despite Haruyuki crying all the time and terms being thrown at me without proper explanation…I have enjoyed this show. So I feel like a douchebag for not being super excited about this episode. But really folks the pacing was HORRIBLE! I felt as if I watched two episodes in 22 minutes. Like WHAM all over folks gotta make this arc only two episodes so we can move on to bigger and better things. I don’t think anything was explained well and everything was rushed.

How....how do you know this?!

Take for instance Kuroyuki figuring out what Sulfur Pot was doing. She just looked at him and was like oh yeah you are farming monsters all the way from Tokyo. I see how you are using a back door program to hack the game. If Kuroyuki is this smart why didn’t she figure out what Nomi was doing? Hopefully he is a smarter…2nd generation player and Sulfur Pot just sucked. But really it was all so magical. Too magical for words. Just oh this is what is going on so lets get to the battle so we can all make it to dinner on time.

WEEE I HAS A DRAGON!

Can we get an explanation on how Sulfur Pot could tame a monster? I mean clearly the issue on the hacking/name not appearing on the challenge list won’t be explained until Nomi is taken down. Or maybe that will be the major “enemy” of Season Two. We can’t run around killing Kings for Kuroyuki all the time if we are expected to buy merchandise and character goods! We need to drag this out. So that answer I can see not coming our way for quite a while. I just thought that hey taming a legendary monster in the game…might need some explanation. But we were on a time crunch so explanations are the enemy.

The most amazing transformation ever!

Crikin turning into Voltron…..I have no words. I have no words. I mean it was way better than the random medium see the future moment we got last week. That came out of NOWHERE! But I don’t think I was expecting Crikin to turn into Voltron. Can you really expect those things though? I thought he was going to use the metal to make a huge gun or something. I don’t know, it was just…special.

Well....at least Sulfur Pot was smart?

Of course Crikin wasn’t going to win against Sulfur Pot. I mean Sulfur Pot better have an amazing game plan if he is going to run around hacking the system and going to the trouble of taming a dragon right? He better not be down for the count after a few hits. So teaming up with a fire breathing dragon when you have a gun powder attack..probably a good idea.

One more time? What happened?! I want to know!

WHAT THE HELL WAS UP WITH MEGUMI?! This was the stupidest, randomiest, and unnecessary parts of the episode. Yes homegirl got them to the ocean which turned the tide of the battle. But Kuroyuki is pretty amazing and is a King. I am sure she could have done some major damage and beaten Sulfur Pot on her own. But if Megumi didn’t show up the girls couldn’t have turned into mermaids and that would be lame folks. Lame. We need mermaids. And the magical object that the dragon dropped.

WHO ARE YOU?! What is going on?!

But come on folks. I just assumed Megumi was keeping this secret from Kuroyuki. That she was crying in the hotel because she felt guilty that Kuroyuki was confessing to the game and she wasn’t. But the way the episode went I could go either way on if Megumi knew about Brain Burst at that moment. She obviously knew at some point as she appears to be a high level player but she had to be coaxed into it by her…past self. Weird. So had she already forgotten about the game or did she forgot after using the landscape spell?

And this is not causing you alarm why....?

Oh yes folks. FORGOT! Why did Megumi forget? Why did she quit the game? Why was she crying in the hotel? Why hadn’t Kuroyuki heard of such a strong player before? OH WE DON’T KNOW! Because Kuroyuki didn’t ask or care. It was literally…oh that was interesting. If Megumi wants to tell me later she can. Even though I just acknowledged she forgot. I have no idea why the show is doing this other than to drive me crazy. Such a throw away situation. Why Why WHY! Aren’t there enough secrets in this game and what not already? As one can tell I am not a real fan of this…thisness. Kuroyuki should be asking questions. Can someone really erase their memories of their time in the game? ASK KUROYUKI!

Sounds like an organized...organization.

But Kuroyuki is too busy thinking about Sulfur Pot and how he didn’t tell her jack shit. Like lala I don’t have to tell you anything. Which I appreciate actually. Like oh snap I have been beaten in battle let me spill all my master’s secrets. But Kuroyuki was focusing on that drama and the pretty necklace she bought her friend. Guess Kuroyuki can’t be on her game 24/7 or she wouldn’t be fun to watch.

Yay for mermaids!

So I think that is about it. I actually like the mermaid avatar type deal but it seems like they are really restricted when it comes to backdrops. It is sorta sad that they have no one else to play with but at least dragons aren’t going to run around and eat them anymore. Next week looks like lots of fun, with Kuroyuki getting her ass kicked and Haruyuki turning into a demon pig monster from hell. ENJOY!

Hyouka episode 18

All my eyes see is rain. And all my ears here is rain. X___X Word has it that it is supposed to rain like this all week. :( Maybe I really should get on to making that boat. As it is I am ice creamless due to the rain. It kept me from going to the grocery store. :( I mean I guess I could have sucked it up but I also had a severe case of the lazies. Woe is me.

Watch out for Yuno!!!

But…since I can watch anime and blog it while being in bed I can put out some anime posts and be lazy at the same time. XD Woohoo I can justify my laziness. Up now is Hyouka episode 18. Spoilers for no school festival?! XO For shame!

Houtarou?! Caring about what other people think and know?!

Episode Summary: Everyone is chillin in the club room talking about nothing things. No mention of the school festival. Houtarou is looking outside and a helicopter flies on by. This triggers a memory from 3 years ago, when a teacher in junior high raced to a window to look at a helicopter passing by. Houtarou remembered how serious the teacher was, Mr. Ogi, but Mr. Ogi tried to pass it off as he has a passion for helicopters. Houtarou grows worried as Satoshi and Mayaka who had Mr. Ogi as well don’t remember this helicopter loving fact. Satoshi remembers Mr. Ogi saying he got hit by lightning a few times and Mayaka finally remembers this helicopter event but many times a helicopter flew on by and Mr. Ogi didn’t care. Houtarou slowly starts to feel like his eyes are going to sparkle and he becomes curious over this matter. Everyone in the room freaks out as this is out of character for Houtarou. Clearly he is a crab person. Houtarou tries to pass it off as no big deal but he decides to go to the library anyway to investigate. The only one who Houtarou selects to go is Eru. Houtarou starts having magical visions of riding on a bike with Eru and it creeps him out. He sends Eru to the library first so he can try and figure this mystery out alone. He starts thinking about where someone could go to get struck by lightning so many times. He concludes it must be somewhere in the mountains and it is confirmed when he reaches the library.

I sorta felt bad for the old guy. :(

Eru found an article about Mr. Ogi and how he was President of a mountain climbing club. Houtarou uses that information to ask for newspaper articles that happened 3 years ago. While they wait both Houtarou and Eru look up books about various topics. They are finally given the newspaper articles from that year and they learn that there was a stranded group of mountain climbers, part of the club, that sadly died on the mountain due to bad weather. Helicopters were unable to reach them that day and that is why Mr. Ogi was happy to see a helicopter in good weather. It reminded him of times when he was hurt on the mountain (lightning strikes) yet he was a bit sad because not all helicopters represent something good. As they walk home Houtarou tries to explain why he was so invested in finding out about Mr. Ogi and his life. Houtarou decides he just wanted to know about another human being if nothing came from it. Eru becomes really touched by Houtarou’s words but is unable to express that she thinks Houtarou is being sweet. The two part and Houtarou thinks how he has to make it up to Eru, that she helped him out today. THE END! 

MOG an episode that wasn’t about the school festival? My brain doesn’t know how to process such information. What is going on?! Where am I? Who am I? The entire world has gone mad. Also who the heck ate all my ice cream?! Like seriously why did it rain all day??!

We have mushrooms being struck by lightning. How could this not be an interesting episode?!

Okay so with the big school festival solved and Eru’s Uncle a forgotten memory I was wondering what kind of mysteries us viewers were going to get. For the time being it seems like we are going to get tiny little ones that are blown out of proportion but have to be solved right now or people will explode and die. Everything is a matter of importance with this bunch though so you know.

YOU are curious?!

What was interesting about this episode was who started the curious conversation. Usually it is Eru with her crazy eyes and insane hair. Sometimes Mayaka and Satoshi want to know about things but it is mostly Eru getting the ball running. So when Houtarou said the words I am curious…well it was time to break out the cooling pads and thermometers because clearly Houtarou is sick. Or abducted by aliens. That would be interesting.

I wouldn't like them either if I had to be constantly rescued by them.

So perhaps the real mystery of the episode was figuring out why Houtarou cared so much. Because FOR ONCE I was able to figure out this mystery. See I am what you call an over reactor. If my husband fails to come home when he is supposed to after work he is clearly dead in a ditch. If I hear a noise in the kitchen there are robbers in the house and we will all die shortly. If food sits out for a bit it will become instantly poisoned and I will die. My point being…once I saw the helicopter I was like OH SNAP Mr. Ogi was rescued by one a long time ago and that is why he is excited to see it. Only excited is probably not the right word.

Helicopter to the rescue!

So yes folks. Because I am the most insane person I know I figured out a mystery by sheer luck! But when you think about it…I wasn’t really right. I mean maybe Mr. Ogi was rescued one time by a helicopter since he has been struck by lightning a few times. But the day in question Mr. Ogi was more looking for a helicopter for other people. That some helicopters represent saving while others represent a body pick up. So I was partial right but for the incident Houtarou was wondering about with Mr. Ogi it was for other people.

Only math teachers can be struck by lightning that many times!

Houtarou was a dog with a bone though wasn’t he? I really didn’t think where the lightening strikes happened really mattered as I live in Florida and we tend to get struck by everything here. So maybe he was air lifted to a hospital for all I knew. I didn’t know that the town wasn’t….subjected to lightning strikes. But Houtarou’s sister knew about the make up of the mountain or some baloney which is supposed to make this all be a super mystery. In reality it was just a sad story that Houtarou made into a big deal. Something in passing that Satoshi and Houtarou heard in class three years ago. There have been plenty of times in my life where I get really into something and I can’t concentrate until I find out the answer but this….well it was pushing it to another level.

I am actually surprised Satoshi didn't go to the library too...

Eru didn’t really seem to care about the mystery. Or not as much as she usual would. Instead she focused on what was the real mystery…why the heck Houtarou cares. Because believe me after seeing Houtarou make faces and do the bare minimum in life I wondered too why all of a sudden he cared about a teacher he would probably never see again about something that may or may not have happened to said teacher.

This would be Houtarou, caring about someone else's past pain.

Well it turns out that Houtarou is growing up. Shocking I know. He is slowly breaking out of his shell. Experiencing the real world. Using some of his reserve energy. And while he might never see Mr. Ogi again Houtarou decided that knowing about a human being was important, even if nothing came from it. To understand someone and expand his world. Not everything resolves around him and such. While it might seem like a trivial matter to Houtarou it was important.

You have feelings!? Real human feelings?!?!

So that is what Eru was having a hard time vocalizing to Houtarou. That Houtarou was acting sweet and caring for another human being with nothing in return for himself. But since Eru has people skills like my cat has driving skills she got a little confused. So everyone go AWWW over cute Houtarou and Eru.

Here is to many more sunny days so people can be okay.

I think that is about it for this episode. A short little mystery that was easy to figure out but the real focus was on Houtarou anyway. I would like them to find Eru’s Uncle though….

Yuru Yuri Season Two episode 8

Hello there my lovely readers! I am so far behind in...well everything it is not even funny. X__X The husband leaves town and I decide to do nothing but snuggle with my cat? What a lazy pants I am. Hopefully I can light a fire under my butt and clean the house, response to blog comments, and catch up on tons of episodes.

So here is my feeble attempt to do a bit of catching up today. Yuru Yuri Season Two episode 8 time. Spoilers for Merry Christmas Time!

Episode Summary: After the amazing adventures at summer Comiket…Kyoko is stressed out that she hasn’t finished her manga for the winter Comiket coming up shortly. Yui chastises Kyoko for poor time management but agrees to help as she is used to helping. Akari says she will help out if Kyoko shows her the ropes. Chinatsu is like what can I do to help and everyone is like MAKE TEA! Chinatsu gets upset as Kyoko refuses to allow her to help and becomes annoying with random dancing around the room. This distracts everyone from their work so Yui asks for fresh tea about 4723743 more times to distract the girl. Everyone decides to take a bathroom break and when they return Chinatsu has messed up one of the pages. Kyoko freaks out and the world ends. Later when Kyoko puts herself back together she dons a Santa outfit and stomps to the student council office declaring it Christmas party time! So all 8 of the main girls decide to give in to Kyoko and they go to the Karaoke place. Surely this will a grand day! 

Kyoko seems to have the most fun buying crazy amounts of food and drinks for the group. She takes great pleasure in messing with Yui’s drinks. Most of the songs seem to be the same one about lovers and matching mugs. Ayano tries to pick a song to sing with Kyoko but keeps attacks of shyness. Chinatsu keeps trying to pick a song to sing with Yui but her plot is foiled time after time. Chitose and Akari seem to have fun but since they are acting relatively normal no one pays attention to them. Himawari has to put up with Sakurako being a brat so it is a successful Christmas party. Sometime later Chinatsu is taken out by Yui. Yui has still not repaid Chinatsu for the awful chocolates and scarf for Valentine’s Day so surely taking out the girl near Christmas time would be a great idea. Chinatsu slowly starts to lose her mind and plots how to make this a real date. She momentarily gets a bit sad when she realizes “normal” couples don’t have two girls but then decides she is who she is. She makes Yui take her to a scary movie so she can snuggle up to Yui but things do not go according to plan. She ends up almost ripping off Yui’s arm. Yui tries to put on a brave face but Chinatsu gets a little sad. Yui smiles and says she is having a great day. That breaks all the resolve Chinatsu had in her little body and she turns into a total crazy pants. She declares Yui her lover and hangs all over, creating a scene and such. Happy Holidays. THE END! 

Ah Yuru Yuri. Such an insane little show that makes almost no sense half the time. Yet people watch it and the first nendoroid from the series is set to come out soon. That is how you known you have made it in the anime world. At least by Tenchi standards.

Fall is a boring time of year anyway.

So why do I think the show is weird this week? Well weren’t we at the summer Comiket last week? I believe we were. And now this week Kyoko is getting ready for the winter Comiket? One could argue that it takes months to get ready for events, that after one is over you get to work on the next one. But…since Kyoko was dressed as Santa later in the episode and other Christmasy things…I am going to assume that it is December. Apparently September, October, and November aren’t that important.

Everyone is a slave rejoice!!!

So putting aside that..Kyoko needs help. I thought she had a circle she worked with. X__X Or at least other manga friends. Why is Yui so used to it? Oh because Kyoko has always been this special and she can’t count on anyone like she can Yui. Akari was a quick learn too. Eager to please and not be invisible I am sure. Good thing those two said yes or Kyoko would have been screwed.

More tea please!

The person who wanted to help the most was the one shunned from the project. Since it is Chinatsu I really can’t complain. She needs to suffer a bit. After seeing the world’s scariest manga done by her hand I can see why Kyoko was hesitate to give her any control over the situation. Maybe next time Kyoko will just invite Yui and Akari to her house and unleash the super surprise! Time to work. Maybe Chinatsu would have found out and been mad but at least the art would have been saved.

I'm a little tea pot!

Chinatsu did a lot of things while she wasn’t allowed to work. Her random scary dances were nice and..well scary. Distracting too. I can see why the girls wanted her to do other things but that particular activity was annoying to the girls. Yui trying to take one for the team was pretty sweet. I don’t think I could have drank that much of something I love (Code Red PARTY!) let alone…tea. X__X Good job Yui. But…all that effort was for nothing. Chinatsu was able to reach the pretty drawings and ruin them. Usually Kyoko has spaz attacks for no reason but this time I felt bad for her.

Time to party WEEEE!

So…forgetting all that just happened..CHRISTMAS PARTY! It is interesting to see how Japan celebrates Christmas even though I am aware this is an anime show and has been exaggerated. Still the idea of presents seems to only be a big deal between couples and maybe close friends. Being together with people and having a good time seems to take over this holiday which is a big chunk of Christmas yet?

Someone looks excited over karaoke...

That being said I hate karaoke. XD I mean maybe I would love it if I was a good singer. But these kind of events don’t really bring out the amazing singers. Case in point all of these girls….well they sounded like little 12 year old girls barely on key. XD Although I do recall reading somewhere that the enthusiasm behind the singing is what people focus on in Japan. Still I wonder why this because so popular in Japan. X__X Just seems like a lot to do.

SO MUCH FOOD!

X__________________X Are these girls rich? Or at least Kyoko. All the food and drinks almost made me explode. I hope those were free refills or else those girls lost all their allowance for the month. It looked so expensive but hey it was a party. Maybe that is the point of Karaoke? Cheap food and a fun place to be alone to party all night long? Wait how old are these kids? X___X

So the singing…..they were singing the same song over and over again right? I’m not crazy yes? Kyoko did her best be lively, Akari probably was the best, and Chinatsu was creepy. Chisato was tolerable this episode which is a miracle. Ayano was too shy to get her way and the other two girls…well they didn’t contribute much so why did they bother showing up? Overall it looked like a fun party and maybe the girls had to be rolled out because they ate so much. Just I rather…well go to Steak n Shake with my friends than listen to any of us sing.

See? A romantic date.

Chinatsu goes on a date with Yui. Yui does know that she is a crazy person yes? Maybe that makes Yui insane too for never learning her lesson. She did need to pay back Valentine’s Day but…isn’t that what White Day is for. Bad Yui. I would have gotten her a nice sweater or something because the idea of trapping myself with that insane person is a bit too much for me.

Don't worry about what other people think about you. Well....loving a girl anyway.

I ALMOST felt bad for Chinatsu. ALMOST. The part where she felt bad that she wasn’t “normal” for wanting to go out with a girl. True Chinatsu isn’t normal and all the yuri in this show is way over the top. Had she really been in love with Yui and felt this way I would have been all :( too for her. If you love someone you love them. Well as long as everyone is on consenting age. And since both these girls are about the same age…I say have at it.

Good idea in theory...

But Chinatsu is insane so it is hard to feel bad for her. She did try pretty hard in this episode though. I thought her scary movie idea was a good one. Too bad she took it way too far with the squeezing. Yui might have to get a restraining order against Chinatsu now. But…since Yui isn’t honest Chinatsu thought the movie was a success. I love going to horror movies too and getting scared out of my mind. XD

....but the results are special.

Overall I think that Yui was trying to have a nice time with Chinatsu. And Chinatsu was almost acting normal. But in true Chinatsu fashion she has to ruin things. She can’t just leave well enough alone. Yui was smiling and Chinatsu was like this is a real date…SO I LOVE YOU! Let me embarrass you in front of everyone and act like a complete fool. WOOHOO good times. This is surely how to get a second date.

So…I think this is about it for the insane show that is Yuru Yuri. Yay for Christmas and mangas yes? Now if you’ll excuse me I need to get a Code Red now…or two. Maybe three. Then explode!

Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate episode 6

X___X The rain is scary! My sidewalk to my car was flooded earlier yet people wanted me to deliver pizzas in that weather. Excuse me while I go build a boat. While I gather up the supplies enjoy my post for Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate episode 6. Spoilers for....blood noses and forgotten love letters.

Maybe you should have started that running thing right away....

Episode Summary: Mifuyu panics as it is announced that Yuuki will be presenting his speech next. She runs to give him the proper copy of the script but she either passes out or has an ill moment because she hits the ground. Turns out that Yuuki wasn’t next as it was Moheiji’s turn. Moheiji goes up and makes his grand speech…which is mainly to point out that they are trying to overthrow the current administration and to do that they can’t vote in Satsuki as she should have had better control of the budget. As Moheiji exits the stage he tries to talk to Yuuki but he is too pissed to listen. Satsuki takes the stage to give her speech as Mifuyu wakes up and dramatically runs to give Yuuki his correct speech. Satsuki basically says there is more than meets the eye and that she is going to plan for the long term. Yuuki takes the time to read the first lines of his speech and he realizes it is a love letter from Mifuyu. But still he leaves to walk on stage with said papers as Mifuyu barely misses him. Yuuki takes the stage…and nearly breaks his nose as he falls. The papers scatter and Yuuki bleeds all over the place. People watch in shock…as Yuuki is like LAUGH PEOPLE!!! He smears around the blood and gives a random speech how he is fighting to protect his club and if other people are going through that too vote for him! WOOHOO!!!

At least he got the outcast votes?

Afterwards Yuuki passes out and doesn’t remember what he said. Mifuyu is able to recover her love story and all is well in the world. As Yuuki comes to the random reporter from the other day comes on in the club room and says HE (previously a SHE) will be broadcasting from their room. Everyone on campus watches as the main reporter for the school broadcasts all the updates and what not of the votes. Isara is there to cheer on Yuuki and everyone else takes turns being nervous and very knowledge on how many votes Yuuki will need to move on in the real election. There is also a concern that is a 4th candidate receives enough votes Yuuki won’t have a chance as there will be two Independents. It is a lot of nail biting and silly reporting going on as everyone watches all the updates and crunches numbers. Soon the final results are in! Yuuki has enough votes to move on and the 4th candidate barely lost. WOOHOO! Rejoice the masses. Capture the magical moments on camera. Oppies time to pass out!

When we last saw our…main characters Mifuyu was like OH NO my love story that I wrote to Yuuki?! I actually gave it to him and not the speech I slaved away on. Which is still Yuuki’s fault. Granted he was kinda busy making all the rolls while barely anyone else lifted a finger to help. But the speech, the one that will get the entire school to notice you since you aren’t the most popular guy ever, yeah…you should remember that speech. Mifuyu was still pretty special though.

Especially when Mifuyu passes out and misses her chance to give Yuuki the correct set of papers. I mean…she was/is a rather sick person and no one can fault people for being tired/fainting/tripping. But maybe when she came to she could have told Chisato to take Yuuki the correct speech. She does have some health problems and that run was rather long for someone who just passed out. X__X Maybe she was embarrassed and didn’t want anyone else to see what she had written but come on! Better to tell one person the truth than the entire club to be disbanded and the entire school to hear the speech.

Also it is never pointed out that Isara was accepted as one of the gang even though…she wasn’t really introduced. Like oh hi here is our slave have at it! Okay maybe I am focusing way too much on Isara…which is weird because her voice takes some getting used to…but still! Is this group made up of the cotton candy and rainbow jellybeans they are constantly shoving down their throats?! It just seemed….sad to me. I know the Food Club is made of good people who would probably would have been friends with the girl anyway but still. STILL FOLKS! I need to mention that this school sucks every single episode to remind myself what an awful concept this entire thing is. Hope the other slaves are being treated well…..

So Moheiji….yes he was a jerk. And Yuuki probably had a right to be surprised by this tactics. Because you know he lives in jellybean and cotton candy type places. And perhaps Satsuki should have been thrown off her game slightly. Not enough to stop her from making her speech since she does present her self as a strong person but enough to look slightly upset for a bit. However…if this crazy school of running over kids and serious elections is to be taken to a new level…well what does it matter if Moheiji acted like a real politician? Annoying? Yes. But over the top…not really. Actually…maybe what he said made sense? Aren’t there different departments to keep people checked and balanced? Oh Lord now I am remembering high school government class.

Oh and I want to free the slaves!

Satsuki….well we didn’t get to hear all of her speech what with Mifuyu and her dramatic yelling. Why not telling the people ….guarding the candidates what you are trying to do instead of pushing them aside? But yes we didn’t get to hear all of Satsuki’s speech as we had to hear Mifuyu huff and puff up some stairs. But to me…I really didn’t think her speech was all that strong. Not strong enough to combat was just said about her. Perhaps that was her approach, to not even justify all that with a response but still…maybe next time.

Slightly terrifying speech.

Yuuki and his speech….well…you know…at least he didn’t read Mifuyu’s speech. I mean was he stupid enough to do that though? I hope not. I do like that he tried to pass everything off as normal or part of his routine when he tripped. Like and what that is part of my act! However it was hard to concentrate as his face was smeared with blood. X___X Looks like he got through to the crowds though. Yay Yuuki!!!!!

And Yuki remembers nothing. Excellent.

So you know that whole story that Mifuyu wrote about Yuuki, confessing her feelings for the boy? How she was running to save her secret from Yuuki? DIDN’T MATTER! The subject was just thrown under the rug. What speech?! Yuuki clearly lost his mind and can’t remember anything he did or said before and after the speech. So he doesn’t remember the words I Love You. WOOHOO!!!! Now we can focus on more important things…like numbers.

That was a pretty good voter turnout though....

Yes folks so many numbers! This is where everyone magically gains 40 IQ points and it is all serious business. Although so many updates for the poll results? Was that really necessary? This school seems really high tech. No need to be like Florida and our stupid voting method. Just count them all and make sure there was no cheating. Do it all at once. XD Silly suspense.

Apparently having three candidates is the norm.....4 would just be silly!

Something that I thought was weird…was how many candidates moved on the real election. And that this is usually the results. So did everyone else just run to earn money for themselves? What does happen with all that extra money? If that is the case…well maybe some more investigation needs to take place. I just thought a lot of effort went into this event when usually the outcome is the three major parties have candidates that that is it. Why waste so much time and energy when people knew they were going to win? Also I just think it is weird how the percentages were determined. I do think that people shouldn’t run if they don’t have a chance, like a joke. But when the two major parties have such an advantage over everyone else maybe the top 5 contenders should be allowed to run? I don’t know I don’t know.

I also don’t know what to make of this shape shifting reporter. Did I just say shape shifting? FIRED FROM LIFE TENCHI! Gender confused maybe? I thought she was going to be a passing character from last episode, around to make Yuuki’s life special and to hammer home the fact that Yuuki’s name is the hardest thing in the world. But nope apparently this reporter is having a gender crises. Don’t know what will come from this. Probably nothing. What a special school.

Well thank goodness for all those pity votes.

In the end Yuuki got enough votes to move on and there are only three candidates. Because had there been anyone else Yuuki would not have had a chance. Because people can see into the future. Or Chisato is really, really smart. I think it would have made the show more interesting with more candidates but…I guess he is going to have a hard time getting 34 or 49 percent of the votes. 34 being the bare minimum he needs to win and all he has right now is 10 percent. Still I wonder if that mystery girl that was running against Yuuki is the same girl that appears to be his friend….

Either way the current President is like OH SNAP people are against us. I am shocked as they went to great lengths to get HIM out of office IE running people over. So this show is insane with nose bleeding candidates and cosplaying freaks. But then it becomes all about crunching numbers and serious business. X__X This show is slightly insane yes?
