Mirai Nikki episode 3

All I have to say is USE COASTERS! Coasters are our friends. USE THEM!

But cross yo fingers. Tell the rain it can come Tuesday of next week. Just not Sunday and Monday. I am trying to see if we can sneak a visit with Mickey after losing our minds the night before at Universal. Cross yo fingers.

Photobucket

I hate those rides! But the commentary is funny. XD

Until then it is time to watch insane stuff. Like Mirai Nikki episode 3. And eat more cupcakes. Because I have to buy what is on sale and if that is a package of 12 cupcakes so be it. Spoilers for fanservice and MOG dead bodies!

Photobucket

They bounce back fast. It's not like half of their schoolmates are under a building or something.

Episode Summary: Yuno is happily dragging Yuki around an amusement park. Yuki feels as if he is suffering but puts up with it. In a flashback it is shown that Keigo has asked them to hang out there to act as bait. He wants to flush out Minene and also work on finding out who the other 7 are. So in the meantime Yuki and Yuno can have fun fun dates while being bait YAY! There are two almost identical scenes on different days with cops stopping and check cars for Minene. Each day Minene tries to escape but following her future diary doesn’t work. She is also quietly being stalked by a high school boy. Despite being stabbed in the eye she has a strong will to live given she grew up in a war torn country. On day two of our most excellent date ever Yuno starts to show Yuki her cute and vulnerable side. Also she shows him a bit of her boobies as a quick trip to a water ride leaves her top less. Yuki is rendered unconscious as she hides her tatas in his chest. On the Ferris Wheel ride Yuki asks Yuno why she is so cray cray and stalks him. She answers that a year ago they had a conversation about seeing the stars and that when he rudely turned her down for a date he did in fact promise to marry her when they grew up. Yuki then goes OHHHH but you still hiding something?

Photobucket

Sure. We will go with that.

On the way home it starts to rain and Yuno invites Yuki to her house. Keigo smirks as he knew that Minene was not going to find the kids this week but he had something else planned anyway. The high school student has made it to Minene and takes her to a safe place in a random shack. Thinking she is safe Minene takes the pills given to her. Soon she realizes taking pills from people wearing paper bags over their heads is a very bad idea. He transforms into a crazy creature and demands to know about the future diary owners. Yuno goes to cut up an apple and Yuki leaves to find a bathroom. He finds a room covered in tape and he decides oh hi this looks interesting let me open it up. WHOOOOSH! Everyone’s future diary changes and Deus is like YES this is amazing. Inside the room Yuki thinks he sees mummified dead bodies. Yuno cries as she stands behind him, saying things were going well. Yuki runs like hell all way home but Yuno follows him so she can say goodnight. THE END!

Holy crap. I was going to write blah blah Yuji Walks Around Town Part Two. And it nearly was. Then BAM Yuno is still insane. Super duper insane.

This could all be a cover up but I think that maybe…just maybe Yuno will actually be insane. That this is not her being framed and maybe there is a good reason for all of this. I think that this one has flown over the nest and into the crazy bin.

But before that everything was going great in Yuki land. I do love me some amusement park episodes. Guess because I wish that every day can be like that for me. XD I say this while trying to secure tickets to DisneyWorld on Monday. Yay for procrastination!

Photobucket

I have always loved you Yuki!!!!

So that part of the episode was pretty….tame. Ordinary if you would. Not that anything is wrong with that. But it felt odd in light of what this show is about. Crazy people trying to kill each other while trying to replace the God of Time. So maybe….maybe in light of half their classmates being blown into tiny pieces it might have been disrespectful to be out having fun and being bait on roller coasters. But that is just me.

Photobucket

See I'm NORMAL!!!!

But putting aside that half the town’s young people got blasted into the sky it looked like Yuno was having fun. I mean….instead of being an amazing master mind she turned into a ditzy girl who just wanted to have fun. In the process she showed Yuki her vulnerable side by being scared in the haunted house, proved that she has an endless supply of money to buy him snacks, and that she isn’t all THAT smart by being unable to properly tie swimsuit strings. See, isn’t Yuno looking like a normal girl now?

I still find it so weird that they rent swimsuits at those kind of places. Weird out of my mind folks.

Photobucket

Swimsuit strings are HARD!

Yuno even had a chance to show that she wasn’t insane. See she actually “told” Yuki she liked him last year. And he promised to marry her. He was off being so emo about his future plans (really? Really?! I understand divorce is tough but seeing the stars with your family doesn’t pay the bills) and Yuno comes over and doesn’t make fun of him. Instead she tries to ask him out on a date. To which he was rude about. RUDO. He says no to the date and yes to the marriage so either way he is on the hook. So maybe….maybe Yuno isn’t that insane.

Photobucket

To flush everyone out I want you to put yourself in danger by riding on rides that put you hundreds of feet in the air. Perfect idea.

She and Yuki are in fact stupid. An amusement park is way too dangerous to be hanging out in. When your enemy likes to use bombs maybe you should not be so high off the ground. Just saying. Just saying. Go watch Final Destination 3 in case you don’t catch my drift.

Photobucket

X_x Well then...

We got a tiny bit of back story with Minene. She is from a war torn country it seems which probably explains some of the crazy. Not that I am saying everyone who goes through that will become insane like her. Just that when your parents are killed in front of you and your only way to survive is to do horrible things it will take your toll on you.

Minene is unable to escape due to the actions of someone. I don’t know if it is Keigo the cop or the random high school student who eventually found her. I am thinking it is the random high school student. She probably needs to check her diary a little more often as she got slipped a pill. Poor Minene. She is so injured she wasn’t thinking right. Not on her A-game if you would.

Photobucket

I think he needs a bigger paper bag.

But was all that really happening after she took the pill or was that just in her mind? She had a pretty good looking eyeball despite being stabbed two days ago but now it might have been ripped out of her head. So it really doesn’t matter. Of course upon watching that scene again that high school dude could have been a monster all along and the drugs she took helped her to wake up and realize her phone was gone.

So the end of the episode was when the real X____X moment happened. It isn’t raining that hard outside but the lights are out. Maybe believable. Japanese people do not like eating the skin off fruit so her leaving to do that is believable. Then BAM!

Photobucket

Really, really dead bodies. Stupid lights. I want to see more!

Although I do find it hard to believe that in the “normal” timeline Yuki did not open the door. It appears that Yuki opening the door drastically changed the course of the game. That he and Yuno would have made it to the end together and since he opened the door every single person has had their fate changed.

Photobucket

Well clearly there is nothing to see here.....

So maybe next time we want to hide something we will not put caution tape all over the damn place. And maybe hide the bodies. I’m just saying. Just saying if you want to invite your boyfriend over maybe you should hide dead mommy and daddy somewhere else. JUST SAYING.

Photobucket

Maybe I will be Yuno for Halloween?

Yuki does not react well to finding dead people in the room. Deus seems delighted. He also says some random words that don’t make a lot of sense to me. And on his way home Yuno follows him and bids him goodnight. He has learned very fast that pretending to be in love with a crazy person is probably not the best thing for your mental health. Yay for learning things at a lightning fast speed.

Photobucket

Just...so so well.

Does this mean things are going to get really interesting now? I already knew Yuno was crazy cray but now Yuki is a little bit…shall we say scared to go to her for protection? Which might be bad since her Diary is to see his 10 minutes in advanced. Bring on the crazy!!!

Shakugan no Shana Season Three Episode 3: Yuji likes walking

XO October! Why are you making me a liar. I said this was the month of amazingly awful scary movies yet you keep showing the same ones over and over again. And I don’t want to watch Scare Tactics. No more Scare Tactics and The Hills Have Eyes. I already saw the eyes play something else.

On a side note can animals become zombies? Apparently an expert on zombies says NO but I don’t see how they would be immune to that. They are already pretty unaware of their actions most of the time. Why not make them undead and really hungry? Bring on the zombie animals!

Photobucket

Run run Japanese people are always on the run.

Up now is the super short blog post for Shakugan no Shana episode 3. Spoilers for….Yuji being boring.

Photobucket

Cellphones? Weren't you just writing updates to your boss VIA letter last episode?

Episode Summary (err): Yuji gets off the train and walks around the city for hours. Satou informs Eita that a Crimson Lord is thingy is around and that he needs to go help Margery. He does so but it pissed off. Shana and Wilhelmina stop practicing and also sense something odd. Shana then USES A CELLPHONE to contact Kazumi and asks her if she wants in on this…craziness. Kazumi says she is on Team Crazy and is sent to help Eita climb a lot of stairs and watch the little device that overlooks the city. Margery has tracked down the Crimson Lord and haha it is Yuji. Shana is all @_@ when told. Meanwhile Yuji is taking a walk in the city and down memory lane. He remembers most of the amazing scenes from the first season. He stops and thinks about all the people in his life that he left behind. But he has made his decision and must move forward. The episode ends with Yuji meeting Shana on top of a bridge. BATTLE TIME!

So um…yeah. This is going to be a short blog.

Photobucket

This bag is so ugly I thought I point it out.

This entire episode was devoted to Yuji walking around the city and everyone realizing that the Crimson Lord they are feeling in town is Yuji.

Eita coming back into the picture was a bit anti climatic. I thought it was going to take more for him to run back to Margery. And in the end he really wasn’t needed. Even if someone needs to look at the thingy thing Kazumi could do it. So I am not buying that he needed to get out the situation and was drug back in some easily, really at the first sign of danger.

Photobucket

I don't like yoooooooooooou.

Really Eita makes me angry when I think about him. Can’t he protect his girlfriend easier if he is in the loop? They are not going to be out of danger by being ignorant to what is going on. So being with the group is the best way to protect her. Stupid.

Shana continuing her training was special too. We still don’t know why she magically powered up. She found herself folks. FOUND HERSELF.

So was that it? Was the rest of the episode walking around the city? I think it was. X__X

Photobucket

Such distant memories!!!

So yes folks. Most of the episode was Yuji getting off a train and walking around town like he had been gone for 5 years. I mean for most people the last time they saw some of these scenes were 5 years ago but for Yuji it was like a few months ago. It was nice seeing some flashbacks that I had forgotten. A lot of series with a few seasons under their belts do a catch up episode so I am not complaining about that.

Photobucket

This is what the train stations looked like Kyoto. Tokyo not so much.

What I am complaining about is how it was done. If Yuji has magically become the bad guy of his own free will then why is he taking a walk down memory lane? That is what someone should do if they had no choice in the matter and are a little remorseful. But if you are coming to destroy them all because you are the King Baddie why are you taking the time to stop and smell the memories? It was all weird.
But it was kinda cool seeing “Japan”. Have I mentioned that I miss it yet?

Photobucket

This is the best pre battle scene I could take. :( Sorry.

That is about it. Sorry for such a short post. Sometimes flashback episodes can be like that. But next week it looks like we are going to get a fight. And possibly some tears?

Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi episode 3

I had a super productive day. And this time I mean it! Laundry, vacuuming, dishes, and responding on comments that were backed up in my inbox?! All of this while watching all my shows tonight? I feel accomplished. And my house is clean!!!! Go me.

Obviously I am an old lady who is happy about a clean house. XD Going to the movies or out with friends is supposed to be exciting not weee laundry. Crazy me.

Photobucket

Not me today!! XD No work makes me happy.

Speaking of crazy people it is time for Sekai Ichi Hatsukoi episode 3. Ritsu has to take a nap as Yoshino is the star of the show. Spoilers for Yoshino being…special.

Photobucket

Somehow I doubt that....

Episode Summary: The episode opens up with Yoshino and his very tired team working beyond hard. A few days ago Hatori told him that the artist in charge of the colored manga spread this month was rushed to the hospital from being overworked and TADA now Yoshino is in charge of that responsibility. Everyone is working beyond hard and Yoshino is stressed out. He wishes that Yuu was there to help but due to a falling out he has skipped out on this session. Yoshino seems to think the fight is about him leaving trips early to be with Hatori. Takano comes by for a coffee break as everyone has to work the entire day because the deadline is at 8 am. Yuu eventually shows up and takes the lead. The work is completed on time and Yuu leaves, promising to talk about the situation later. The girls who were exhausted 2 seconds ago get all giggly because one of the girls likes Yuu. Yoshino promises to make things happen. Hatori comes back in the room to speak to Yoshino but Yoshino gets all fainty and collapses from exhaustion!!!! Two days later he wakes up at Hatori’s house. He realizes that their special day is coming up and he wants to spend it with Hatori. But after breakfast Hatori explains that Yoshino is going to rest and that is that. Yoshino decides to make the conversation even more uncomfortable by talking about Yuu and the assistant that likes him.

Photobucket

Yoshino IS a bit special after all....

Yoshino phones work later and finds out from Takano that Hatori has to work so much now after taking two days off to visit his sick self. Yoshino promises to make it up by spending fun time with Hatori. Yuu takes it upon himself to apologize for his actions and invites Yoshino on a trip to a hot spring. Yoshino tries to say no but that doesn’t work so well. Yoshino is all like let’s invite Hatori and OH a girl likes you. Yuu tries to ignore it but Yoshino insists on talking about crazy stuff. It gets to the point where Yuu gets in Yoshino’s face and says I LIKE YOU. Yoshino gets all X___X and says he likes Yuu back. Hatori walks in all pissed off and drops off whatever he had before leaving again. Yoshino then finishes his sentence with but I don’t like you romantically. Yoshino concentrates on work all the while worried about Hatori ignoring him. He finally bites the bullet and tells Hatori they are talking. But when he finally works up the nerve Hatori opens his mouth and assumes Yoshino is breaking up with him. Before Hatori can get too lost in his emo trip Yoshino is like NO listen to him. He “implies” he cares for Hatori and apparently that is enough to bring on the sexy times. But cue to the next day Yoshino manages to mess up. Yuu says that maybe he will become a better man than Hatori and win Yoshino. Yoshino is like oh that might happen and Hatori hears. Evil eye time. THE END!

Photobucket

Yay implied sex!!!!!

Yay! No coercion of sex today. Of course….we really didn’t see any sex scenes at all today. But the implied sex scene was happy and full of flowers. YAY!

That being said…Yoshino is too special for words. His Duh personality takes it to another level. I am I just got done writing about Shun being so stupid to other people’s affections right? A little bit of naive is fine but I am not sure how this can be viewed as a positive trait in someone.

Photobucket

I am glad that Yuu was very upfront about this. FRIENDSHIP LOVE indeed.

And it isn’t. Because Yuu got so fed up with off camera he was like SEE YA. It takes Yuu saying the words for Yoshino to get it. My husband is pretty bad at picking up subtle hints as well but Yuu had basically spelled it out for Yoshino and he was like lala not understanding your crazy talk.

But it was very unprofessional for Yuu not to show up for work. If that is the case. It sounds like the assistants show up on a set schedule that Yoshino makes after his storyboard is finished? But given that Yuu usually knows when that schedule is going to be and that he is the head person in charge he probably should have shown up. But since he is a FRIEND things are forgiven and he gets to keep his…whatever job.

So I thought that being a manga artist was cool before this show. I thought all the stories about late mangas due to exhaustion and what not were lame. Just a bunch of excuses I thought. Why couldn’t manga artist get their acts together and put out their material on time. And finish it. FINISH YOUR STORIES!

Photobucket

Are you trying to kill Yoshino too? That might hurt your sex life.

But now I know the truth. X__X And I still love mangas. That probably makes me a bad person. But they get run ragged. Like oh hi Yoshino. Some manga artist has collapsed and is in the hospital so we are going to give the extra work to you. Because next month we want you in the hospital. X___X And Hatori is supposed to love Yoshino. But I guess he knows Yoshino can do it and has to put work first in that situation.

Still there has to be a better way than running people ragged right? I know I have bad time management skills at time but it can’t be an issue simple as that. But money is makes the world go round. Gotta get those chapters out in each magazine and then make some more cash selling the volumes. It sounds like it would be easy to draw 30 pages in a month with the help of assistants but so much detail, time, and security go into every page no wonder it takes forever!

Photobucket

Well they were tired until the topic of boys comes up....

And we can’t forgot about the assistants! They get no credit at all but they seem to be doing a lot of the work. A LOT. But I guess that is like anything in life. I can sit there and top the pizzas, take them out of the oven, cut them, and ring the customer up and they will still thank the owner. Like thankssssss! Not. But the assistants are overworked too and they have less sway with that is going on than the manga artist.

Photobucket

Someone took one too many drama pills today.

Hatori is a little annoying. He knows that Yoshino is way too naïve for his own good. He knows that Yuu is trying to get with Yoshino. So why doesn’t he make his intentions more known? They have been together for a year and all they talk about is work? I would be bored with that too. Both men should make more of an effort (like stop spending your only days off with Yuu!!!!) but I think Hatori with the bigger brain should be stepping up more. Be romantic, be a normal couple. Stop being his boss during your down time and have fun.

Photobucket

Zombie attack!

Yoshino getting sick was X___X. Especially when the doctors let Hatori take home an unconscious person. But I guess it was sweet that Hatori took care of him.

Photobucket

Everyone is so upfront with everyone else.

I am very glad that the “miscommunication” was dealt with swiftly. And by swiftly I meant in this episode. Because obviously the problem had been going on far too long and now things came to ahead. But I am glad that there aren’t going to be three episodes devoted to everyone giving each other sad puppy dog eyes. He was like NO you are misunderstanding the situation….and I love you. I love you=read between the lines. Even Yoshino can’t be honest with himself.

Photobucket

What?! Yoshino is making sense?!

Seeing Hatori look slightly flustered was fun to watch. I can see why he thought Yoshino was breaking up with him but part of the fault lies with Hatori himself. This is why talking is important. Sometimes people think I talk to much but I need to get things off my chest and I want things resolved before resentment settles. Crazy pants. Doesn’t Hatori want make up sex?

Photobucket

Why do you keep saying the wrong things?

But then the episode ends with Yoshino saying something stupid and hurtful. Agreeing that Yuu may become a better person than Hatori. You talk on Hatori. TALK ON. Right into the next episode as it looks like you are still the couple of the week. See ya next time!

Kimi to Boku episode 3

Lately my life has been all about fake smiles. I know that life isn’t always fun times at anime conventions and trips out of town. But it is possible for normal life to not be so upsetting and depressing? Is it possible for people to treat me like a human being? Just bleh people. Bleh. Being bleh makes it hard to blog.

So a word to all. If you to pick up pizza and you see a girl behind the counter screaming at all her co-workers and throwing a pen at the wall don’t assume she is crazy. Because 5 seconds before you walked in they made three pizzas wrong, forgot to serve customers their appetizers, and neglected to tell anyone there was no more cheese in the store. Okay so maybe the girl is crazy…but she has reasons to be.

Photobucket

This is how my week has been.

While there is peace and quiet in my house I will try to get some things blogged. Or maybe I will run out and do some errands. Up now is episode 3 of Kimi to Boku. Spoilers for straw hair people and cold shoulders.

Photobucket

What's a love connection?

Episode Summary: Kaname is picking on Masaki (why did I refer to her as her last name last week?) for eating lunch with them. Shun tries to explain that Masaki is there for homework help but Kaname drives her away. Shun does not seem to get that Masaki likes him so the rest of the guys tease Shun. Which he also doesn’t get. Yuki’s homeroom gets a transfer student. His name is Chizuru and he is happy to be alive. But after greeting the class he latches onto Yuki claiming he knows him. Yuki is like…no I don’t know you. Yuki tries fleeing to Yuta’s classroom during breaks but Chizuru follows. Chizuru is like X__X there are two of you?! But he still insists that Yuki is the one he played with in a park many moons ago. Yuki and Yuta could care less about Chizuru and walk away from him. Kaname gets offended by Chizuru’s lack o caring about him. And then Chizuru accidentally assumes Shun is a girl, Yuki’s girlfriend. Chizuru makes more attempts to get Yuki to remember him but Kaname and Yuta both think that Yuta is the one he is thinking about.

Photobucket

Mangas have feelings too!

After school the twins read some mangas and talk about the feeling of books and what not. Chizuru shows up and insists he gave Yuki a toy when they were younger. Chizuru starts to get depressed that one of the twins didn’t remember them and starts ignoring Yuki. But after school some random kids want to beat Chizuru up. The twins arrive on the scene and manage to get Chizuru out of harm’s way. While running memories of what happened a long time ago resurface. While Yuta was sick in bed Yuki was at the park being bored. A younger Chizuru shows up unable to speak Japanese but eager to play. They had a nice time together until Yuki accidentally makes Chizuru fall out of a tree. Chizuru insists that he was okay though. Yuki ends up getting sick and Yuta goes out to get him some noms. He encounters Chizuru who thinks he is Yuki. Chizuru has to go back home but gives Yuki the toy he “won” yesterday. Yuta in turns gives it to Yuki. So after all the flashback Chizuru looks at Yuki on the roof and says he is the one who played with him in the park. Yuki acts like he doesn’t care but almost shows remorse about Chizuru falling out of the tree. When Yuki acknowledges Chizuru he (Chizuru) gets all happy and starts hanging out with the group. Well until he realizes Shun is a girl. Then he passes out. THE END!

Photobucket

Taking over the world!

So…I was waiting for the 5th guy to show up thinking it would make things interesting. Now I kinda wish he had stayed away for his own mental health.

Photobucket

Someone not important at all?

And is Masaki really going to hang out with the guys from now on? I don’t mean that in a creepy “MOG kill all the women trying to break up my yaoi pairing” way. I mean it in a wow she is annoying and I don’t wish to see more of her kinda way. I thought her approach to handling a crush was way too immature and I think her height scares me. So please stay away Masaki. Far far away.

Isn’t Chizuru a GIRL name? Gosh I hate that name. Bringing back some bad memories folks.

Photobucket

Very excited indeed.

To be fair to the twins Chizuru was a little…overly excited to see them. One of them anyway. Yes the twins aren’t really the happy to see you type when you know them but still. Chizuru was a little over the top, especially since these are guys and Japanese guys at that. After causing that scene in class I can see why someone would want to avoid Chizuru.

Photobucket

Well that makes Chizuru sound crazy. X__X

But the twins are mean. And the writers are stupid. They can remember stuff that happened when they were 4/5 years old but not when they are significantly older? To be fair this event only lasted a day but still. It would be easier to remember a “special/weird” day when you are 10 than Shun crying over flowers when he was 4 yes?

Photobucket

And then he kept walking.

If this was a reasonable/realistic show Chizuru would have gotten discouraged. He would have either tried to make other friends or become a social outcast. I would have been pretty sad if I was being ignored like that. I mean…putting aside the fact that I would not declare it a magical miracle that I recognize someone from a one day encounter from 38927 years ago.

Photobucket

Yay for being cute little kids!

The flashback scenes were cute though. I think that kids that age are more accepting of new people (obviously Yuki was anyway). Sometimes conversation is not important when playing is involved. Toddlers play together all the time without being able to communicate so I am sure some of that is spills over into elementary school. All of that I found believable and interesting to watch. I wonder when Yuki became such a jerk. He was a kinder kind. And I think Chizuru was cute with his brave face in light of falling out of a tree.

So with all that said why did Yuka and Yuki rescue Chizuru from the fight? I mean they were going out of their way to ignore him. That line about the manga confused me though. Yuki was talking to Yuta right? Then why did Chizuru answer? Because the twins were clearly not spending time with the boy until that day yes? Confusing.

Photobucket

Breaking up a fight indeed.

So the twins breaking up the fight was uncharacteristic of them yes? For me I think so. They seem the type to not get involved with anything, including the troubles of others. But even if deep down they are nice the way they rescued Chizuru was so….boring anyway. It barely seemed like they were involved. Like oh this is like typing our shoe or something.

Photobucket

Apparently this is the face of happiness.

In the end Yuki seems to remember Chizuru and gives him tiny hints that yes you are not a psychopath and I do remember that one time when you fell out of a tree. So now that Yuki and Yuta saved him Chizuru feels as if he is apart of the group and will now hang out with everyone. Where I am sure he will be treated like the 5th wheel and the butt of many jokes.

Photobucket

That was looking a little girlfriend like.

That might sadden Shun to learn that he has been replaced. Instead of laughing at Shun because he is blind to Tiny Terror’s love now everyone is laughing at Chizuru for thinking Shun is a girl. And Chizuru wasn’t even told about the Chizuru drama. Yay for friends yes?

Photobucket

I miss Japan.

I don’t know how I feel about this show. I mean…girls doing cute normal things is fun. Guys sitting around and ignoring each other and picking on each other does not seem that entertaining to me. But maybe I feel that way because I am a girl? In any event I hope the show steps it up before I lose interest.

Guilty Crown episode 2

Can you spell a simple word like drink? Are you able to use a calculator? Is reading something you do on a daily basis to function as a human being? If so please do not apply at our store. Apparently we are only hiring people that can drive Tenchi crazy. That includes not understanding that we don’t deliver to areas 30 miles away from the store, being confused how many toppings a 3 topping pizzas has, and having handwriting so horrible that it no longer resembles any human scribbles.

Obviously I had a great day at work. A SUPER GREAT DAY.

Photobucket

We never kid. Anime is serious business.

But with a cupcake in hand it is time to blog. Yay for blogging animes that are confusing and having girls wearing spandex g-strings. I kid I kid. Maybe. But yes Guilty Crown episode 2 time. Spoilers for words and crazy faces.

Photobucket

When you pull a sword from someone's boobies it gives you the powers to fly!!!

Episode Summary: Shu is still in awe over the awesome power that is…something. He is able to fly around avoiding missiles and what not. He does great damage to the mechas that are attacking him but it is shown that the pilots are not in the mechas but somewhere else controlling them with their minds. After the immediate danger is over Gai (via tiny robot thingy) tells Shu to save Inori whom has been rendered unconscious due to Shu taking a weapon out of her chest. The resistant force called Undertaker or Funeral Parlor depending on your translation is still fighting the Antibodies (the force in charge of keeping the virus underway). Tsugumi and Ayase try to take out more forces but are force to abandon their mecha when cornered by a powerful enemy. Guin, one of the people in charge of Antibodies) tries to greet Daryl, the person piloting the mecha that took out Ayase. But Daryl is a crazy person drunk on Daddy’s power (someone higher up in Antibodies) and doesn’t like to be touched. Shu gets Inori to Gai. He seems okay with Ayase losing her mecha but upset with Inori. Gai briefly explains that Anitbodies created something…amazing and Gai was supposed to have that power for himself. But instead Shu now has it and controls the power of the Gods. There are more words than that but that is the basic idea. Gai tells Shu he can no longer go back to his normal life now that he has such a power.

Photobucket

I think someone needs to live in a bubble from now on.

Back at headquarters Gai is informed that over 100 people sought refuge in an underground area but now Antibodies have taken them captive. Most people want to abandoned the kidnapped but Gai is like time for a rescue mission. Inori and Shu crawl towards their designated spot for the rescue. There they witness Daryl and his cruel ways, killing innocent uninfected people. Gai gives the word to mobilize. His plan ends up leaving the Antibodies surrounded. Guin comes out and smirks. He says that if they fire they will set off some toxic gas planted near the captive people. Gai comes out as the leader of Undertaker and explains their mission in life. Guin orders everyone to aim and fire at Gai. That is Shu’s cue to take Inori’s power and zip on over to where Daryl’s body is piloting the mecha. He takes out Daryl’s power which is a kaleidoscope. That causes the attack to bounce off Gai and destroy the Antibody force (minus Daryl and a few red shirts rescuing him). Gai tells Shu this is the start of a beautiful alliance and invites Shu to join him. He offers his hand…and bam we are back in class. Shu said no and is like wee going to enjoy my normal life now. That is until Inori shows up as a transfer student YAY!!! The end.

So many words. So many confusing words for my brain to go X__X over.

This episode (or maybe series as time goes on) reminds me a little of Code Geass.

The crazy “evil’ faces seem familiar, the sleek looking mechas, and the overall rebellion against the current power. I guess Inori is a bit mysterious like CiCi but Shu is not really a “misunderstood” master mind. Although Gai might be.

A very, very OLD 17 year old....

Why did Wiki just tell me this Gai dude is 17? He is clearly a million years old AKA in his late 20’s. Hello there young Skywalker. I am merely one year older than you but sound so much older due to my….chain smoking? 17 indeed.

A lot of the terminology was lost on me. Went straight over my head. And probably Shu’s. I wonder how much of that he really digested. I am not sure if this power is purely a human invention or derived from something else. I would hope though it came from something else. Alien or what not. Because the idea of humans creating something so powerful is a bit X___X

Ah yes. This makes perfect sense.

So yes. I am simply going to go with the Antibodies made something really…special and Inori stole it. Shu accidentally put it inside himself and now he can make ideas out of people’s…souls. And these ideas turn into weapons that can let him fly and do other amazing things. That is how I am going to think about it until other information comes to mind. Like TADA the amazing powers and machines we created actually came directly from virus information which we caused ourselves when we accidentally opened the Hive.

I wonder what power lies within me? I am sure it has something to do with Hello Kitty.

I would like to know more about the ability though. Power of the Kings if you would. Gai does not have it and is pissed. Yet he knew exactly what weapon Daryl would produce. That knowledge kept Gai (and everyone else) from being fried. But how did he know that? Of course this is only episode 2 so there is still much to learn.

But in the future young girls still need to wear tight clothing to pilot said mechas.

I do like that the people seem to be piloting their mechas from a safe distance away. This is the future after all. If people are capable of creating such amazing things surely there would be a way to keep the pilots from actually piloting. There might be other dangers though like losing your mind if you are ‘in” your mecha at the time. Still I thought this was interesting. Also we can keep the fighting up without losing major cast members so early on.

Someone took a lot of crazy pills. A lot.

I am not going to like Daryl. I mean I get why he doesn’t want people to touch him. That much makes sense. But having such an over the top baddie is annoying. When the real intentions of Antibodies is revealed maybe more will make sense. If there really is a different reason other than taking dramatics measures to make sure the virus stays contained of course. If not kill away. Kill away. But even if the other baddies have reasons beyond that they will be killed first and Daryl will remain to fight another day. Sadness fills my soul.

Shu is super impressed weee!!!

The overall plan to beat the Antibodies also reminded me of Code Geass. Something so planned out to a T and it all going perfectly. Because obviously Gai knows everything and can anticipate what others are capable of doing. Insert crazy laugh here.

I think I will like Gai because he went back to save those people. Yes he was harsh on his own troop but she did sorta mess up his plans on being awesome. Maybe he should have stepped up and stole his own goodies. And maybe saving all those people just played a bigger part in his plan. But I like that he didn’t abandon them. Things were getting real Kid without Parents and he stepped in before it got too bad.

Perfect for battle yes?

I will not enjoy the fanservice. I never do. I really thought that High School of the Dead could have been better had they focused more on the story and not the boobies and butt. Why is it the guys are wearing a normal amount of clothes but the girls have to pilot mechas and run around wearing things that show their butt cracks and boobs? Can’t a story just be good? Do we have to get viewers by makings over the top sexy? I mean…in Resident Evil was Alice not sexy yet wearing something that allowed her to have reasonable movement to fight? Just bleh.

Come with me if you want to live long enough to see John Conner fight machines in his wheelchair.

The best part of the episode was the ending. Gai wants to take Shu’s hand as together they join forces to take on the baddies. It was set up to be a sparkly we can do this moment. Bros believing in bros.

And Shu was like HELL NO and went back home. Because that is what sane people do. Yes it would be nice if everyone felt compelled to join a dangerous battle after watching innocent people get slaughtered. But when you are able to pull weapons out of people and FLY IN THE SKY and basically almost get blasted to pieces I can see how a sane person would run home and try to live their life out normally.

Of course this is going to cause Shu much pain and angst. Because he beat himself over allowing Inori to be kidnapped in episode 2. No doubt he might seem happy living his “normal” life but deep down he beats himself over being a coward and a fake.

I hate you burst your bubble but Daryl is one with Shu now too. XD

That might be put aside for now as Inori has arrived at school. Maybe we will not see mopey Shu because X__X Shu is just more fun. I hope that the plot continues to be interesting and doesn’t turn into Inori doing cute things at school.
